Defying Fools
00:05:06
|
|
| Why should you sit in your house the whole time if you can't go to work anyway? | |
| Because the governor told you to stay in your house? | |
| That's the second reason for happiness. | |
| Defying fools is a source of happiness. | |
| I've been doing it all of my life. | |
| It's one of the reasons I'm happy. | |
| I never listen to fools. | |
| I don't obey fools. | |
| You get your dignity back. | |
| You get your spine back. | |
| Crawling is not a form of happiness. | |
| Fear. | |
| It's impossible to walk around afraid and be happy. | |
| The chances of a healthy person, virtually any age, but certainly under, let's say, 80. The chances of a healthy person, let's even go down to 70. Dying of this are minuscule. | |
| Get it? | |
| And they don't exist if you're under 18. It's negligible. | |
| It's in the realm of dying from a snake bite. | |
| Walk around afraid of snakes for your kids? | |
| Oh, boy. | |
| All right. | |
| let's see here all right let's go to Kathy Long Beach California Hello, Kathy. | |
| Hello. | |
| Hi. | |
| Hey, I'm a long-time listener, big fan. | |
| I am happy today. | |
| And there's a couple reasons I'm happy. | |
| Number one, I love listening to you, Dennis. | |
| I always have an aha moment. | |
| But number two, I'm doing something today. | |
| I'm in my car. | |
| I'm going to Huntington Beach to the big rally. | |
| I have my signs made. | |
| Open California, and I'm with you. | |
| When is the rally? | |
| When is it? | |
| It's at noon today. | |
| There's five of them. | |
| One in San Diego, one in Huntington Beach, one in Los Angeles, one in San Francisco, and the other one in Sacramento. | |
| How do people find out where to go? | |
| WeHaveRights.com. | |
| WeHaveRights.com. | |
| Bless you. | |
| Let me know how it goes, and I'm certainly going to follow it. | |
| That's correct. | |
| I should make up some signs for you. | |
| A sheep's life is only good for sheep. | |
| Yes. | |
| Good. | |
| Anyway, you've got to get out of your house. | |
| That's the message today. | |
| Let's go to Alex in Pittsburgh. | |
| Alex, hello. | |
| Alex in Pittsburgh, hello. | |
| Hey, Dennis, thank you so much for taking my call. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| I just wanted to say, first, I am in complete agreement and happy that you chose to celebrate Shabbat the way you did last week, and I hope you have. | |
| I'm doing it tonight, too. | |
| I'm doing it tonight. | |
| This is what I do, actually. | |
| I Zoom the service where I teach every week. | |
| I teach Bible, teach the Torah. | |
| And so I Zoom it. | |
| So we're all together at least that way on Saturday. | |
| And Friday night I go to a friend's house for Shabbat dinner. | |
| So I am living as normal a life as is possible at this time. | |
| I just wanted to say really quick, when you had brought up and you had associated people previously being under house arrest and being sick as, you know, a necessary means to Being stuck in your house, it really made me think back to how I really didn't care for or like the initial language that was being put out when this started really becoming a problem that we should all pretend and act as if we're infected because I think mentally the toll that that could take | |
| on you after an extended period of time is acting as if you're infected. | |
| You're going to mentally become infected and just very, very depressed. | |
| What is your situation? | |
| Who are you with? | |
| Whom are you with? | |
| I'm with my wife. | |
| We're in our house in Pittsburgh. | |
| You're 29 and you're married? | |
| I assume you're conservative. | |
| Yes, I am. | |
| That's it. | |
| That's all I need to hear. | |
| 29-year-old guy married? | |
| The odds are overwhelming he's conservative. | |
| Remember, everything the left touches, it ruins. | |
| This is a living example of it. | |
| This is a living example. | |
| The states were rated, by the way, the states were rated as the most obedient and least obedient. | |
| South Carolina is the least obedient. | |
| I actually said to my wife, I'm thinking of moving there. | |
