Dennis Prager Show - Chris Matthews, You're Sick Aired: 2020-02-13 Duration: 04:26 === Believing Trump Derangement Syndrome (04:23) === [00:00:02] So, I now believe, I have not believed this seriously. [00:00:07] I have not used the term. [00:00:09] I have not believed that it is anything but, you know, sort of political rhetoric. [00:00:16] I now believe it is true. [00:00:18] I believe there is Trump derangement syndrome. [00:00:21] I think people have become frighteningly irrational with regard to Donald Trump. [00:00:32] And I don't know where it comes from. [00:00:36] I don't know. [00:00:37] I admit it. [00:00:38] I don't know. [00:00:39] I understand opposing him. [00:00:41] I understand not agreeing with him. [00:00:43] I understand finding the way he conducts tweeting and some of his offhand comments annoying, even obnoxious. [00:00:53] I understand all of that. [00:00:56] But the hatred and the demonization Is pathologic. [00:01:03] And it is very scary to me. [00:01:05] The media people who pathologize him scare me much more than he does. [00:01:16] Listen to Chris Matthews now. [00:01:19] This is just, was this week, correct? [00:01:23] It was on February 7th. [00:01:26] Fine. [00:01:26] Five days ago. [00:01:28] So... [00:01:29] They're discussing the fact that, I assume, that he's going to fire some people now that the impeachment is over. [00:01:38] Yeah, post-Vinman, right. [00:01:41] So this is what he actually said on his show Hardball. [00:01:51] Yeah, well, a certain dictator whose name we dare not use, when the people tried to kill him about 1944, the collaborators, he not only hanged him, he hanged him with wire. [00:02:02] He had movies taken of them being hanged. [00:02:04] He said it made it so their clothes would fall off so he could watch the movies. [00:02:07] Is this guy that bad? [00:02:09] Okay, is this guy that bad? [00:02:15] You're sick, Chris Matthews. [00:02:17] No, no, you're sick. [00:02:18] You're just sick. [00:02:19] You're sick. [00:02:21] MSNBC is sick. [00:02:22] The New York Times is sick. [00:02:24] You're all sick. [00:02:25] I've never said this before. [00:02:27] I've never. [00:02:28] It has finally occurred to me. [00:02:32] You folks are sick. [00:02:34] There's something wrong with you. [00:02:36] You do not perceive reality. [00:02:40] If he were hanging his enemies by piano wire as Hitler did, why are you capable of saying this? [00:02:47] And no, do you have a bodyguard on your way home, Chris Matthews? [00:02:51] Do you drive home in a tank? [00:02:56] There is no relationship between reality and what the haters of Trump say. [00:03:00] There's none. [00:03:01] There is none. [00:03:02] That's why I kept telling you Frank Rich is existential threat to democracy. [00:03:06] You're all sick. [00:03:08] I now realize they're sick. [00:03:11] I've said that they have done evil. [00:03:14] I have said that they have distorted life. [00:03:16] I've said a hundred things, but I never said sick. [00:03:18] I now believe you're sick. [00:03:22] Sick means you don't perceive reality. [00:03:26] You live in a make-believe world. [00:03:28] That is sick. [00:03:30] Trump is like Hitler, stringing up people who opposed him, firing the Vindman brothers? [00:03:37] Is the same as Hitler torturing to death his opponents? [00:03:48] And then the next moron on NBC, the next sicko, says, oh, they applaud like they do in North Korea. [00:03:56] The Republicans are North Korean sycophants. [00:04:04] If you have relatives, they're sick. [00:04:06] They are sick. [00:04:09] I've never said it. [00:04:10] It has finally occurred to me that you are sick if this is your view of Trump. [00:04:17] I don't care. [00:04:18] You can hate him. [00:04:19] But if you think he's Hitler or an existential threat to democracy, you are sick. [00:04:25] You're not just wrong.
