U.S. Submarine Sinks Iranian Frigate, The Latest on the SAVE America Act & The Texas Election Results

Senator Ron Johnson and Texas candidates dissect escalating U.S.-Iran tensions after a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian frigate in the Indian Ocean, marking the first torpedo strike since WWII, while six American service members died in embassy attacks. Johnson frames Iran’s 47-year conflict with the U.S.—1,000+ deaths under Obama/Biden—as proof of Trump’s necessary strikes, urging regime collapse via internal uprising despite IRGC brutality. Meanwhile, Texas’s Bo French and George Simeon (Romanian AUR leader) link energy dominance—Permian Basin oil vs. Iran’s Strait of Hormuz threats—to national security, criticizing Democratic voter ID opposition and European globalism aiding Tehran. Grassroots wins like Steve Toth’s upset over Dan Crenshaw signal conservative momentum amid stalled SAVE America Act reforms. [Automatically generated summary]

Thank You, Jack! 00:02:42
Hey guys, it's Jack.
I wanted to let you know that we're starting a new push for subscriptions here on Human Events Daily.
So make sure that when you're listening to this podcast, you hit subscribe, you download it, and you share it with five of your friends.
Make sure they're all going and downloading as well because we need to get the signal out as much as possible.
Look, we've done so much over the past couple of years since this show started, and we're only going to do so much more.
Let's get it.
And secondly, is the president considering invoking the Defense Production Act to boost munition stockpiles while we are in this conflict?
It's not something I've heard the president consider, but as you know, the president has been in a pretty direct correspondence and public correspondence with defense contractors, asking them to aggressively speed up their manufacturing of American-made weapons, which again are the best in the world.
With respect to Ecuador, I would point you back to the statement released by the U.S. Southern Command on March 3rd.
Ecuadorian and U.S. military forces launched operations against designated terrorist organizations.
These operations are a powerful example of the commitment of partners in Latin America and the Caribbean to combat the scourge of narcoterrorism.
And together, we are taking decisive action to confront narcoterrorists who have long inflicted terror, violence, and corruption on citizens throughout the hemisphere.
And with that, I would also add that this weekend, I'm pleased to announce the president will welcome the heads of state from 12 nations across our Western Hemisphere in Miami, Florida on Saturday.
The point of this newfound Latin America summit is to promote freedom, security, and prosperity in our region.
The following countries will be in attendance: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, Trinidad, and Tobago, and maybe some others as well.
And the president will be speaking with the leaders of this country who have really formed a historic coalition to work together to address criminal narco-terrorist gangs and cartels and counter illegal and mass migration into not only the United States, but the Western Hemisphere, which remains a key and top priority of this president.
Thank you very much, everyone, and you'll see the president yourselves in and out.
Thank you, Caroline.
Thank you, Caroline.
This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
President's First Press Conference 00:04:22
Christ is King.
Major drama in the Democratic Senate primary in Texas.
Right now, Texas State Rep James Talrico is leading Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett in the race to be the Democratic nominee for Senate.
State Representative Steve Toth stunned the political world by defeating incumbent Representative Dan Crenshaw in the Republican primary for Texas's second congressional district.
The Texas Republican Senate race heads to a high-stakes runoff between incumbent Senator John Cornyn and Attorney General Ken Paxton after neither secured a majority in Tuesday's primary.
Trump's attempt to overhaul election law is running a little bit out of steam in Congress right now.
The White House, backing a bill known as the Save America Act, aims to tighten voter registration standards, laws, and rules and is still awaiting a vote in the Senate.
Tonight, U.S. embassies and consulates under attack from Iran.
With U.S. citizens trapped in the war-torn region, the State Department now scrambling to secure military aircraft and charter planes to get them out.
After telling Americans in 14 countries to evacuate.
U.S. death toll is rising.
It's now up to six.
American service members have now lost their lives.
The Pentagon is now identifying some of the American troops that were killed by Iranian strikes over the weekend.
The soldiers are Captain Cody Cork, Sergeant Declan Cody, Sergeant First Class Nicole Amur, and Sergeant First Class Noah Tejans.
Turkey's Ministry of Defense says that an Iranian ballistic missile was launched toward their country and it was shot down by NATO air defense systems.
Fragments of that missile landing in southern Turkey.
The Iranian Navy rests at the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
In fact, yesterday, in the Indian Ocean, an American submarine sunk an Iranian warship was sunk by a torpedo.
The first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War II.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on board today's edition, Human Events Daily.
We're here live on Real America's Voice.
Today is March 4th, 2026, Anno Domini.
And as we sit, Operation Epic Fury continues.
You just saw the president's first, or I should say the press secretary's first press conference there since the start of the operation, the commencement of this special military operation.
And we also saw the Secretary Hegstett, the Secretary of War, as well as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the CJCS, Raisin Kane, give their briefing earlier this morning.
Operations continue.
Operational control of the skies over Iran is achieved, according to the military and according to these officials.
Where operational control will continue is into sea dominance.
And that, of course, is what General Kane was talking about: the United States Navy achieving the first at-sea sinking of an enemy vessel since World War II from an American submarine.
And of course, this is what the United States Navy trains for every single day and is always capable of doing so within a moment's notice anywhere in the world.
And the questions that still remain: will this expand?
Will other countries get involved on the side of Iran, on the side of the United States?
What are the Gulf states doing?
Who is going to step up and lead Iran?
Is it going to be the son of the Ayatollah?
And is it also true that Ayatollah Khomeini's son, who would also be Ayatollah Khomeini, was actually the power behind the throne to begin with, given the fact that his father was almost 90 years old?
Could this have been a Joe Biden sort of situation?
And as such, would he be a hardliner who's not interested in pragmatic negotiations with the United States and with the coalition?
Could we be in for a longer slog in terms of this?
President Trump expected to speak within the hour, we're told, by Press Secretary Caroline Levitz.
We, of course, will be waiting for that.
I'd like to thank the president once again for waiting until the end of Human Events Daily to begin his remarks.
So, of course, we'll be waiting and monitoring all of this.
We've got Senator Johnson coming up next because as we talk about the international front, we also can't lose sight of the domestic front and the SAVE Act, the fight to secure our elections.
Protecting Personal Data 00:03:07
We're right back.
Human Events Daily, Real Markers Voice.
Our way in our golden age has just begun.
This is Human Events with Jack Posobo.
Now it's time for everyone to understand what America First truly means.
Welcome to the second American Revolution.
All right, Jack Poseovic here back live, Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice.
We're walking through all of the updates, Operation Epic Fury.
By the way, Secretary Hegseth, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention, announced earlier this morning in a question to Mary Margaret Olihan of the Daily Wire that the Iranian leader who was responsible for the plot to assassinate President Trump has been killed graveyard dead.
They tried to take out Trump, but he got them first.
Real quick, folks, I want to tell you that every major company you know is using AI right now: TurboTax, Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Apple, banks, insurance companies, hospitals, credit bureaus, retailers, data firms.
They say it's about innovation, but the truth is about turning your personal information into profit.
Big corporations are serving you up on a silver platter to cyber criminals.
AI runs on data about real people: your name, your home address, your phone number, your job, your family.
That information comes from data brokers and people search sites that build detailed profiles on you without your permission.
Well, during tax season, that exposure becomes even more dangerous because those same profiles don't just feed corporate AI systems.
They are used by scammers and criminals who look people up before they attack.
They know who you are, where you live, and how to approach you.
And this is the time of year that they strike hardest when you're filing tax returns, impersonating the IRS, stealing refunds, using stolen identities.
AI makes scams faster, easier to execute, and harder to spot.
When your information is public, you're exposed.
So ask yourself, what defenses do you actually have against this?
Well, the human events audience knows exactly what the defense is.
It's Patriot Protect.
Patriot Protect is the only anti-AI tool that actually removes you from this system.
Patriot Protect deletes your personal information from Google and removes it from over 240 data broker and people search sites, the exact places AI systems and scammers pull from.
Once removed, their search and destroy protocol keeps monitoring and wiping new exposures automatically.
So don't sit there and let scammers use AI to exploit and steal from you and your family.
Use Patriot Protect to take your data back.
Take control of your personal information and reduce your exposure.
Use promo code POSO for 15% off all Patriot Protect plans.
Go to patriot-protect.com/slash POSO and use promo code POSO for 15% off.
All right, very excited to announce that we have on the program Senator Ron Johnson from the great state of Wisconsin joining us once again.
Senator, how are you?
Doing well, Jack.
How about yourself?
Doing well, burning the candle, but we're hanging in there.
DHS Funding Debate 00:15:06
Senator, you've looked at the information regarding Operation Epic Fury, these Iran operations.
Wanted to get your view from your perch in the Senate as this operation has unfolded.
Well, first of all, we need to recognize, and hopefully our Democrat colleagues will finally admit, Iran has been at war with us for 47 years.
They have killed 1,000 plus American soldiers.
They have been a menace on the world stage.
They represent instability.
And this had to be done.
This was required to be done sooner or later.
Now, under Obama and Biden, those administrations coddled the Ayatollahs.
They funneled hundreds of billions of dollars into their economy, which means into their military, allowing Iran to have the security force they had to slaughter their own people.
And so under Biden or Obama, or, God help us, Commonwealth Harris, we never would have acted in time.
President Trump perceived it accurately that rather than allow them to become a nuclear power, at which point we wouldn't be able to touch them or build up their missile Stockpiles to the point where it's also prohibited to actually take an action, strike while they are at the weakest point that they have been really probably in 47 years, and then encourage the Iranian people to rise up and take back Iran.
Again, we're not going to do it for them.
This has to be done by the Iranian people.
There's nothing guaranteed here.
There's 200,000 IRGC forces.
There's about 600,000 of their other security forces.
Those folks are dedicated jihadists themselves.
And there's going to be nothing simple about this.
Plus, a lot of the courageous Iranians who had the courage to protest earlier, they've been slaughtered.
And just to put something in perspective, I mean, I'm an accountant, I like numbers.
In the French Revolution, this is an AI search, so take it with saying a grain of salt, but I asked how many people were executed in the French Revolution?
About 16,000 to 17,000.
About 2,000 to 5,000 in the Spanish Inquisition.
Iran slaughtered 32,000 of its own citizens in the last month.
I mean, that is the brutality.
That's the kind of evil that we were facing.
And I, for one, very glad that President Trump made the incredibly difficult decision.
This was not an easy decision.
This was a hard decision.
There's nothing guaranteed, but it had to be done.
Well, and you look as well in terms of the toll that, you know, American operations, this isn't Iraq or Afghanistan.
It took 100,000 bodies in some cases, depending on how you check, again, the AI searches to take out Saddam Hussein.
And then the United States tried to stay for even longer with this nation building, with these forever wars, with on and on and on and on.
But ultimately, the president decided to not take that decision here, but instead to do it in a different way, which I think is smarter and swifter and is building on those lessons of the Bush years and the Obama years.
Precisely.
And in the end, you cannot build a nation for some other population, for some other people.
They have to do it themselves.
We will help.
I'm sure we will assist.
You know, you've got Kurds in the North that might be helpful in this situation.
But there is nothing guaranteed.
It's one of the reasons people, previous presidents, haven't struck.
This is going to be a difficult operation here.
There's no doubt about it.
But again, it's the brilliance of the type of exquisite intelligence we've had, the success we've had already, how we now can control the skies.
You have to pray for success.
And probably the most disappointing thing about our Democrat colleagues is it almost is like they're wishing for failure.
They do not want this president to succeed, which means they don't want America to succeed.
It's really, it's pretty galling to listen to them just carp over this.
Oh, and if you, I mean, your colleague, Senator Fetterman there, my senator, has at least come out and admitted that, say, wait a minute, you hopefully could take politics out of this and realize that this has been an adversary for America.
And, you know, go down to the radical in Austin who was shooting up that bar down there.
Look, when you're a terrorist, you don't care if someone's a Republican or a Democrat.
They just view American targets.
But look what Democrats are doing right now.
They're holding up funding for DHS.
Now, they're doing it in the guise of the outrages and ICE.
ICE is funded.
ICE agents are getting paid.
Customs Border Patrol agents are primarily getting paid.
The people who aren't getting paid are TSA agents, other people within the Homeland Security, that at a moment of danger in this country, after the Biden administration, Democrats opened up the border, allowed millions of people to fund this country completely unvetted.
And we've always been concerned about sleeper cells, the members of transnational criminal organizations here in America.
This is where you need to be at heightened alert.
And this is where you need everybody on the job, trying to keep America safe.
And Democrats, and they're able to get away with it because the mainstream media is not holding them accountable, but they're holding up funding for the Department of Homeland Security in a moment like this.
It's just simply unconscionable.
And so when we see that they're holding this up, this is why there's so many questions about TSA and others, because ultimately it isn't about ICE funding.
That was already in CBP.
That was actually funded during the big, beautiful bill.
So what they're really doing is just hurting all of the other operations of DHS, which, by the way, includes the Coast Guard.
Right.
Now, again, a lot of these people are being forced to work.
They're just not being paid, which if we would have passed my Shutdown Fairness Act, they would be being paid.
They're going to be paid one way or the other.
We should pay them on time.
But no, this is a ridiculous shutdown.
And if we had a fair and unbiased media, they would be holding Democrats accountable.
And the pressure on Democrats would be excruciating.
And DHS would already be funded, but we don't have an unbiased media.
No, of course we don't.
And that's why I think for a lot of people, up until this week, they didn't even realize there was a DHS shutdown that was going on, because ultimately, these are American federal employees who are caught up in the middle of this, and they aren't even many times the ones that are involved in the deportations.
No, and we just had a briefing from somebody from DHS.
A lot of the TSA agents, their entry-level positions are making about $37,000 a year.
They're selling their blood to get by.
They're sleeping in their cars because they can't afford the gas money.
That's what Democrats are forcing these dedicated public servants who are still on the job, still trying to keep us safe.
That's the kind of conditions they're putting them through by not funding the agency, the department.
Yeah, and you look at that and you wonder, of course, you wonder about the security implications of this, by the way, because you're talking about airline security.
Let's go back and remember that we are also talking, combine this with what's going on with Iran right now.
We saw the situation there down in Austin.
Could it be, and I hate to say this, but as with my prior Navy intelligence officer hat on, could it be that this lack of security leads to vulnerabilities in the skies with any of these sleepers or radicals that could be here in the U.S.?
That's our concern.
And again, we have no idea if they're sleeper cells, how many people that are just lone wolves that are sympathetic with the Islamic cause.
We have no idea.
Again, you can't preempt all these things, but you at least need everybody on the job at a heightened state of alert in a situation like this.
And by not funding DHS, that's not the position we're in right now.
And that's all on the Democrats.
No, it clearly is.
And we could be using so many different ways to secure our airlines and so many different ways to secure, by the way, the people who are in this country.
And that's something, of course, that DHS has been working on.
But the Democrats seem like they actually want to hinder that.
I wonder why.
I want to talk a little bit more about the Democrats and the things that they're hindering and unsecuring with the SAVE Act.
We come back around.
Human Events Daily.
Senator Ron Johnson returns.
These are influencers.
And they're friends of mine.
Jack Silvic.
Where's Jack?
Jack?
He's got a great job.
All right, Jack Sovik.
We're back.
Human Events Daily, Real America's Voice Raw with Senator Ron Johnson of the great state of Wisconsin.
Senator Johnson, one of the things that's been going viral across social media, our followers keep asking us about it.
Our audience keep asking us about it.
The SAVE Act.
What is the status of this?
Can we get a briefing regarding, I mean, you're an expert on Senate procedure.
Where are we at with this and what are the holdups?
Now it's called the Save America Act, and that's probably a more accurate name.
Keep in mind, if we're not able to pass this, the blame lies solely on Democrats because they believe any kind of election security measures, any kind of controls to make sure that your legitimate vote's not canceled out by a fraudulent vote, that is literally existential to their game plan of making America into a one-party nation.
Now that they opened up the borders, flooded millions of people in this country illegally into sanctuary city states, beef up their census numbers so they get more members of Congress, that they want things like mail-in balloting, absentee voting, automatic registration, all these things that weaken the controls to make it easier to cheat.
So listen, they will go to the mad.
This is existential to their plans.
So the reason I'm pointing that out, listen, I support the president saying we have to eliminate the filibuster.
I'm sympathetic with my colleagues who want to cling to the past because the filibuster has prevented awful socialist type of legislation in the past.
But that day has passed.
Democrats have signaled the fact that next time they're in power, they will end the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court, turn DC, Puerto Rico into states.
Again, that's all part of their game plan, making this a one-party nation.
So I understand the sentiment, but you have to understand the reality.
But right now, the reality is we don't have the votes to end the filibuster.
So the next best thing is the talking filibuster.
It seems simple because we have something called a two-speech rule.
The problem is Robert Byrd in 1986, on just what was just a simple majority vote required to change this precedent, they ended up getting over 90 votes, basically exempted a lot of what we would consider speeches from speeches.
So now you can offer an unlimited number of amendments.
It doesn't count toward a speech or motions.
So, you know, you think two speeches times 47, you got 94 speeches.
You weigh them out, make them talk, then you vote at 50.
It's not that simple.
It's literally an infinite number of amendments.
And so at a minimum, what I'm suggesting is let's at least put the Save America Act on the floor, make Democrats days on end explain why they are opposed to what 80% of Americans support, which is simple voter ID.
Again, the kind of controls that make sure that your legitimate vote's not canceled out by a fraudulent one.
I've made this proposal to Senator Thunio.
We can control the process.
We can fill the amendment tree, the second amendment tree.
We can be dealing with the only amendments we want to deal with that could quite honestly help, for example, perfect the bill.
We don't have a prohibition or reasonable limitations on mail and balloting.
There are a host of things.
There's some issues with some of the provisions of the Save America Act in some states like Alaska or others.
What can we do to solve those problems?
So actually use a talking filibuster as the way the Senate ought to be used.
Introduce a piece of legislation trying to amend it, but not from opposing sides, not allowing amendments that are designed as poison pills, constructive amendments really proposed and controlled by Republicans.
So I think that's our best shot.
And that's certainly what I'm pushing is let's get on the bill.
Let's offer our amendments and make the Democrats, again, defend what really the indefensible.
Why are they opposed to what 80% of Americans support?
And you have on the Democrat side, you've got Mayor Mamdani over there in New York City really stepping in it when he was talking about all the different forms of voter ID that were required to register to shovel snow in New York City, and yet his party won't come out and support voter ID in terms of the SAVE Act.
And this, by the way, is something I'd like to congratulate another Pennsylvania Senator, Dave McCormick, Senator McCormick, for coming out and saying that he supports that.
But I don't know if this is something that Federman is going to get on board for because the Democrats are in lockstep against this, aren't they?
Yes.
As I said, it's existential to their plans.
If they can't cheat in elections, they have a less chance of winning those elections.
And again, I know you've never proven fraud, but part of the problem is after the election, the deadlines are so tight, people have to certify elections.
Courts don't really want to get involved in elections.
The losing candidate doesn't have the resource to do the investigation.
So what fraud does occur largely goes uninvestigated and unpunished.
There's really not a simple solution for that other than maintain the controls up front so you can limit the amount of fraud.
Let's face it, the Baker-Carter Commission, completely nonpartisan, pointed to absentee ballots is probably the greatest area of potential fraud in our elections.
And yet during COVID, we doubled the number of absentee ballots.
And of course, Democrats want mail and balloting, automatic registration completely out of control.
It's been completely out of control for a long time.
I mean, look, I came up focusing on elections in Philadelphia, and I think election rules there and voting rules are sort of suggestions in the city of Philadelphia.
They're known for this type of activity.
And when you go back and ask them to see their voter rolls, they just can't provide it to you.
We saw the same thing down in Fulton County in Georgia.
That's why Senator Ossoff is talking about this.
He's very loudly against opening up all of this.
And that's a huge problem for them going forward.
So just walk us through in the last minute that we're on.
How would that work?
What would the procedure be and the process be to start that talking filibuster?
So again, the House already passed this.
Cross Currents in Politics 00:16:20
We just bring it over.
I think it's a message from the House.
We put it on the floor and what we call fill the tree.
So we fill up the amendment tree with first degree amendments and second degree amendments.
There will be a pending amendment that we will debate and people can speak to it.
Again, if it's putting reasonable restrictions on mail and ballast, we would control the amendment process.
People like Clean Mitchell could feed us all kinds of good amendments.
We can think of them ourselves.
And we just dispose of these amendments one at a time, one at a time.
But we stay on this piece of legislation like we're serious about passing it and force Democrats to defend the indefensible.
It's really as simple as that, Senator.
Where can people go to follow you for all the updates?
I just go to X were pretty easy to find.
Just ask Sen Ron Johnson.
All right, at Sen Ron Johnson, go give him a follow, folks.
He's giving you the inside baseball on the procedure for the United States Senate and how to fight to secure American elections with the Save America Act.
Want to also remind you guys, turning point action, huge.
I mean, we haven't mentioned it.
I did the big live stream here last night on Real America's Voice, talking about the big victories.
Obviously, a huge victory there with Ryan, or excuse me, with Stephen Toth down in Texas too.
Huge upset.
Also, a big, big pitch going into the midterms.
These runoff elections are going to be absolutely critical.
So go and check out tpaction.com, tpaction.com.
If you want to get involved, if you want to make your voice heard, is the way to do it.
Jack.
Where's Jack?
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys should be getting pulled.

All right, we're talking a little bit about turning point action.
We were talking about the big news out of Texas last night.
And I wanted to get on a statewide candidate who really surprised a lot of people in the Texas Railroad Commission.
His name is Bo French.
He's been here on the program many times.
Want to bring him back because he is headed to the runoff.
Bo French, how are you?
Jack, I'm great.
Thanks so much for having me on.
So congratulations.
Walk us through the results.
Walk us through how you did this crowded field.
Not a lot of people were looking at this race, but you really were able to stand out.
Yeah, really simple.
First of all, the Railroad Commission has nothing to do with trains.
It's the regulatory agency over the oil and gas industry in Texas, which clearly is super important to us.
We produce almost half the oil and gas in the United States.
It's a national security issue.
It's a jobs issue, really important to our economy.
But if this was a five-way race with an entrenched incumbent who's very moderate, claims he has no ideology.
So really, it was always kind of a runoff situation was going to be best case scenario.
Difficult to get an incumbent into a runoff, as you know.
And I'm the only candidate who had never run for this position before.
So I entered the race.
I was the last to enter the race.
So with 80 days left, came in.
But because of my involvement with the grassroots over the last decade here in Texas, we had a plan.
We executed that plan.
We got almost every conservative grassroots organization to get behind my campaign.
We had an army of people working.
And really, the results were fantastic.
Really happy to be in a runoff with the incumbent.
And did you expect, I mean, you must have known coming up that the kind of a support you would have, but do you expect that it would be such a runaway?
I mean, I look at the difference between you and the next candidate.
There's a huge delta there.
You're going up against an incumbent.
Did you really have that headwind going into Election Day?
Well, actually, I think I actually performed better in early voting than I did on Election Day.
You know, turnout was pretty high in Texas.
We had a couple million people vote in the Republican primary.
You know, the early voters were probably a little bit more informed, probably a little more closely connected to the grassroots organizations than Election Day voters.
So that probably was the difference there.
So that actually bodes well for the runoff because maybe half as many people will vote in the runoff, maybe a million people in Texas.
And so, you know, those will likely be more like the early voters were a little bit more informed.
They'll do their due diligence on the candidates.
And so I feel pretty good about where we are.
Now, are you using that strategy, that ballot chasing, ballot harvesting kind of strategy to be able to bank those early votes?
You did that in the primary.
Are you going to do that as well in the runoff?
Is that going to be a big focus?
Yeah, you know, listen, this is a down ballot statewide race.
It's, you know, and Texas is a huge state.
So that would be really, really costly.
So we had to be a little bit more innovative and just really leverage, you know, the grassroots folks.
And so, yeah, I mean, we're certainly, you know, had a robust get out the vote program and really just trying to educate the voters that we thought were going to be at the polling locations.
So you talked about how the position deals not so much with railroads, but actually any lines, which of course would consider oil and gas.
What's the current status of the position?
Why run against an incumbent?
Yeah, so it's a commission.
There's actually three commissioners.
They have staggered six-year terms.
So this particular guy, he's the current chairman.
He's implemented a massive DEI program.
You look at his personal political donations, and he's a Democrat mega donor.
So, you know, I think what we saw was that conservative voters across Texas, primary voters, were not very happy with that.
He also instituted, specifically in the Railroad Commission, he instituted the biggest regulatory hurdles on the oil and gas business in our history.
And so, you know, hearkening back to Biden EPA type regulations will hurt jobs in Texas, will hurt our economy.
And frankly, you know, it makes it more difficult for operators to extract oil from the ground.
And so, you know, when you think about creating jobs, having a robust energy and really strengthening our economy, he's kind of done everything wrong.
So we're going to go in and fix that.
Well, and that's exactly the key here because, look, you see everything that's going on in the news with Iran.
We're talking about Strait of Hormuz.
We're talking about global oil flows.
But we don't need to worry as much about the Strait of Hormuz if we worry about things like the Permian Basin and oil and gas regulations right there in Texas, where we could actually focus on this development, which would, of course, drive down our adversaries and be able to keep the focus on jobs right here.
You're exactly right.
I mean, President Trump knows that oil and gas are national security.
Venezuela, the number one oil reserves in the world.
Iran, the number three oil reserves in the world.
I mean, there's a reason why these countries have been in the crosshairs.
And so, you know, we obviously live that every day here in Texas.
We know how important it is.
And, you know, really happy that the voters agreed with my campaign.
Now, when you look at some of the other races, obviously we're going to see the Senate race go to a runoff as well.
What effect do you think that will have on your race?
Are you going to see this sort of grassroots versus establishment, same type of pressure put in?
We also know there's going to be a ton of money spent on the Senate race.
Obviously, we'll have some tailwinds down for you as well.
I think there are a lot of cross currents happening.
You know, we have Abbott, Governor Abbott's endorsements.
You have President Trump's endorsements.
Sometimes those work, sometimes they don't.
There's going to be a ton of money.
The establishment will spend a fortune on, you know, for their preferred candidates.
That's the headwind I'm facing, really, is just how much money.
I was outspent four or five, maybe even six to one in this race and ended up essentially even with the incumbent.
So it's, you know, we have a difficult sort of three months here.
May 26th is the runoff election.
So, you know, the campaign to this point has been really busy, but I suspect I'm going to be three times as busy between now and May 26th.
Now, are you planning some events?
Are you going to be going all the way across the state?
I will be all over the state.
We're going to have fundraisers.
We're going to have events.
I would suspect a debate or two with the incumbent.
So it should be a very, you know, there's on a statewide race basis, there's only a couple of other runoffs.
Now, there's some congressional candidates.
I know you've been talking about that.
They're going to have runoffs.
But, you know, yesterday was really a great day for the state of Texas.
A lot of conservative wins.
So, you know, we feel really encouraged about the direction that our state is headed.
When you look at, and you know, I understand asking someone to comment on other races is what it is, but when you look at the unseating of Congressman Crenshaw down there outside of Houston, what do you attribute that to?
Is that a local issue or is that a sort of a national versus local situation?
I think it's a little of both.
You know, I mean, he really was just very unpopular with the conservatives in Texas.
He had not been a strong conservative at all and really defied conservatives on many issues.
And Steve Toth is a friend of mine.
He's a total patriot.
This is such a massive upgrade.
You know, taking someone who's really been a thorn in the side to conservatives for a long time and replacing with someone who's going to be an America first, just absolute warrior.
So that was a huge race and really exciting.
You know, and I think it goes to show when, you know, same as with Senator Cornyn, that the grassroots do not necessarily respond to money.
The grassroots do not necessarily respond just because someone's been in office for some time, that the grassroots are going to do, are going to stick with the issues.
It's as simple as that.
Yeah, there's no question that the Senate race is going to be interesting.
I'm not sure exactly how that's going to play out.
I mean, I have my personal preference, but it looks like, you know, President Trump posted a little while ago, it looks like he is going to make an endorsement in that race.
So I think things are going to get very interesting.
Well, I certainly see it as that.
Bo French, tell people where they can go to support you, to keep an eye on the race, and also to find out who you would be supporting for the next mass deportation.
Well, 100 million people.
That's who needs to go, as I've said many times.
But yeah, you can find me on X, Bo French TX.
Thanks for having me on, Jack.
I love it.
Bo French on X. He's over there at Bo French Dia.
They just, whenever these guys, they start trolling, he just hits deport, deport, deport, deport, 100 million.
He's a great follow.
You guys will appreciate it.
Bo French, check him out.
Be right back at Human Events Daily going to a little international in the next segment.
This is the Jack Posobiec Appreciation Hour.
I can say confidently, I believe, I think Josh Shapiro would be the vice presidential nominee if it wasn't for Jack Pesovic.
And that is, I'll be honest.
All right, Jack Pesovic, we are back live Human Events Daily.
Very excited to have on our next guest because we are going in a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies as well as chairman of AUR and a leader in the European side, the European Party, George Simeon, joins us now.
George, how are you?
Hi, Jack.
Nice to be on your show again.
Nice to be in Washington, D.C. again for a couple of reasons.
One is a great conference that will start today, hosted by Ana Paulina Luna, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, will be there, and representatives from 50 countries, 38 countries that send out members of the parliament.
So we have a big, big gathering these days in DC.
It's huge, and it's all put together by turning point action.
Just incredible to be part of this international force and to take those conservative values that Charlie Kirk championed and the traditional values that Charlie Kirk championed and be able to meet with people nation, or not just in the nation, but of many nations to join together to understand that it is sovereign nations working together to fight for those traditional values.
And I think really that's where everyone, even if we have differences of opinion on certain things, that's where everyone comes into agreement, isn't it?
Actually, the example of Charlie Kirk is cherished across the free world in Europe.
We had many, many events in remembrance of Charlie Kirk.
And I don't think we are that different.
I think that any new step back, any adversary we have remembers us that we are the same.
We saw the example of Spain in the last two days and I could have told you many years ago that Pedro Sanchez and the current government in Spain is against America, is against President Trump.
And we have this kind of governments across Europe.
And we must separate the waters.
We must separate good from bad and the real conservatists, the real fighters from the rhinos, like you spoke earlier in Texas elections.
Well, no, that's exactly right.
We still have to worry about those rhino hunts.
And I appreciate what you said as well about Charlie.
and so many people who sent so many of those international wishes and prayers for Charlie and for his family and for those of us who were going through that and I'm glad to see that the turning point legacy is continuing now as we push into the next year and beyond because we can't allow this political leftist violence to come up against us.
But unfortunately, this is the problem, isn't it?
That there are people who oppose their values and so they choose violence and they choose censorship rather than allowing for free debate.
And this is becoming a problem in the EU as well, isn't it?
Well, you pointed it out.
Fighting Censorship Across the Free World 00:06:02
You are so true.
And I must admire the efforts that the current administration is doing to fight against censorship for the freedom of speech.
I saw the efforts made by Under Secretary of State Sarah Rogers, by Secretary Mark Rubio, and by everyone, including we saw the report on the House Judiciary Committee about DSA.
And this report had an important impact in the Romanian society and in the European society.
We need you to fight against censorship not only here at home but also across the free world because there's a phenomenon that is widespread by SOROS agents.
And I'm coming from Romania, the country where we had annulled elections, where Kalin Georgescu should have been the president, but Anthony Blinken, Emmanuel Macron, and other bad people who were in charge in 2024 decided to have a puppet president in Romania.
This is what we are fighting against.
And more and more governments and more and more elections are won by right-wing, by conservative, by anti-establishment people across the world.
So your efforts for the freedom of speech are appreciated.
And I'm glad that also at this level we can separate good from evil and we can separate the defenders of freedom of speech by those who are imposing censorship under false pretext.
Now in the European Union there is a huge debate that we should censor the social networks in order to protect our children.
Okay, we all agree we should protect our children, but censorship is not the way.
Censorship is always a dual-edged sword.
George, I want to also ask regarding debates in the EU.
Of course, you mentioned Pedro Sanchez, and he has, of course, been quite vocal on the United States and the current military operations, war with Iran.
What is Europe's view regarding Iran, regarding America's and Trump's new operation there?
Where we have many globalists in charge in the European Union who are against President Trump and they are criticizing every move that President Trump is making.
And we can see now that they are not friends of America, they are friends maybe of China or of Russia.
US was forced into this war because diplomacy failed, unfortunately.
I think US won with a tactical surprise in the first days.
And I hope the United States and President Trump will be able to secure a strategic victory.
We all need peace, but it's peace through strength.
It's time to discourage any terrorists, any radical Islamists, any country that wants to send bombs.
And it's a rearrangement in the world order.
It's clearly a fight between the United States and China, and it's clearly a turning point for President Trump, who wants to win this war for the American people and for the supremacy in the next 10, 20 years.
Well, that's right.
And President Trump understands that this is a geopolitical strategy.
There is a game of chess here between the United States, Russia, and China.
And of course, Iran being a key ally for Russia and China, especially when it comes to their key resource of oil.
And that being able to be constrained, that being able to be put perhaps neutralized or even switched in terms of allegiance, don't want to get too far away from the current situation, but that is absolutely going to cause problems for China as they've been trying to push and fuel their war machine and their economy all across the world, including in Europe.
Yeah, but you could see many countries which take more and more illegal migrants, which are or will become soon caliphates.
You could see these countries that are opposing the United States, are opposing President Trump, and are protecting Iran, the crazy Ayatollah regime.
So it comes to a point where we often said Europe is not any longer friends with the United States and Europe is not any longer Europe.
So we must repair the globalist governments in Europe and we must strengthen the transatlantic relation.
And fight for the Western shared Western civilization and Christian heritage.
George Simeon of Romania, thank you so much for joining us.
Human events daily, ladies and gentlemen.
