Christ is true!
NBC News has confirmed that special counsel Jack Smith, who has led the federal election interference and classified documents cases against President-elect Trump, is planning to step down with other members of his team before Trump assumes office in January.
President-elect Donald Trump stacking his administration with staunch loyalists.
One of his biggest supporters, billionaire Elon Musk, will lead a new department of government efficiency alongside entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
Trump just announcing that our own Pete Hegseth We'll be his secretary of defense.
I'm straight up just saying we should not have women in combat roles.
It hasn't made us more effective, hasn't made us more lethal, has made fighting more complicated.
We've all served with women, and they're great.
It's just our institutions don't have to incentivize that in places where traditionally, not traditionally, over human history, men in those positions are more capable.
I'd say I've had just about enough of the so-called insiders running the Defense Department.
I think we ought to give Pete Hicks that the chance.
You think that's about insiders?
All the criticism of him is that he's not the expected Washington pick.
And I'm just saying to you that the American people just voted against the expected Washington pick.
We know that today, a week after the election, President Biden and Vice President Harris had a private lunch.
How awkward was that?
I don't even understand.
Why would it be awkward?
Because the president got squeezed out for her and then she kept him at arm's length and then she lost.
Looking forward to having a, like we said, smooth transition.
Do everything we can to make sure you're accommodating what you need.
And we're going to get a chance to talk about some of that today.
It's good.
Welcome.
Thank you very much.
And politics is tough.
And it's, in many cases, not a very nice world.
But it is a nice world today.
And I appreciate it very much.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
Today's edition of Human Events Daily.
Today is a working day here.
It is November 13, 2024.
Anno Domini here.
This is the Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago edition of Human Events Daily continues.
President Trump just ending up a triumphant and historic return to Washington, D.C., to the imperial capital.
But you have to understand, folks, the regime still exists.
The power structures still exist.
We have a beachhead.
We have an opportunity.
But our men right now are on the beach.
MAGA is on the beach.
We've got to get over the hill.
We've got to get all the way up there.
We're going to be talking about all the updates as the day continues, breaking down, giving you the inside knowledge, what's happening at Mar-a-Lago, as well as what's happening within the confines of Washington, D.C. I've got Kay Poso right here.
He's rocking the new RAV lid.
Yep, the new wrap lid.
No American worker lid anymore, huh?
No, no.
They said American worker wasn't quite cutting it.
Wasn't quite cutting it?
Yeah, I got it for you just in case the pomade runs out today.
Real, real America.
There's no pomade.
No pomade here.
No pomade here.
We're going to have a number of guests throughout the block today.
Darren Beattie will be joining us.
We'll be talking as well with Republican officials in some areas that swung massively during the election and also about the new administration.
By the way, huge names coming out.
Real questions about Tulsi Gabbard.
Will Tulsi Gabbard be given the Cabinet seat?
Which one will it be?
Director of National Intelligence was a huge one that a lot of people have been talking about this morning.
Dan Scavino Stephen Miller, James Blair, and Taylor Budovich have all been announced as Deputy Chiefs of Staff for the White House.
Just a fantastic, real dream team, just an absolute dream team.
And then a huge surprise pick, we got to say Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.
Now this is one where, what can I say folks, we hear certain things down at Mar-a-Lago, but we can't We're good to go.
The military industrial complex does not want to nominate someone who's best known for being a veteran's advocate, who served and continues to serve, by the way, honorably in uniform, and is someone who is an absolute advocate for the soldiers, the sailors, Marines and airmen of the United States military.
Pete Hegseth is a guy, by the way, and all the administration, all of the regime, they can't stand this pick.
They don't want this pick.
The lobbyists don't want this pick because he doesn't care about the lobbyists.
He cares about the needs of the actual members of the military as well as the interests of the nation and the Trump Agenda.
That's what Pete Hegseth is all about.
So we're going to be talking about this and so, so much more as Human Events Daily continues.
Stick it right here.
Shoot us, by the way, your email.

You talk about influencers.
These are influencers.
And they're friends of mine.
Jack Posobiec.
Where's Jack?
Jack?
He's done a great job.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, Jack Posobiec back here.
Human Events Daily, the Mar-a-Lago editions continue.
We're down here.
We're rocking it.
We're getting all of the information out, everything that you need to know about Trump's transition team, information that you may get before you even know it.
We're here with Kevin Posobiec.
What's up, Kev?
What's going on?
I'm getting ready to rock a We the People tattoo.
I don't know.
Are you doing the We the People tattoo?
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Pete Hegseth's got me going on.
I'm on the other side.
I don't know yet.
And we're here also with the only man in the Republican Party who has more tattoos than Pete Hegseth.
It's actually Beau French.
They're covered.
They're covered.
You can't see them right now.
You can't see them right now.
This is daytime.
They come out at night, of course.
But Beau French, he is the chairman of Tarrant County GOP down in the great state of Texas, Fort Worth area, where I believe we have a flip.
Is that right?
That's correct, yeah.
So talk to me, coming from Texas, and let's get into the nitty-gritty of this, because you saw it from your county, but then we saw also the Rio Grande Valley goes completely red.
And people have been talking about this for years, and we heard it from the The Mitt Romneys.
By the way, I ran into Paul Ryan this morning at the Breakers.
That was interesting.
I saw him using AirPods, by the way.
The Bluetooth.
Paul, let me just tell you something, Paul.
Was he doing some arm curls or what?
He was.
He was, actually.
But he was on coma like a five-pounder.
It was bad.
That's right.
And he was wearing the AirPods with the Bluetooth, and he's like, dude, you got to use the wireless.
Those are not good for your—they're wired, because those are not good for your neurological health.
Paul, I care about you.
I care so much.
But those guys, Bo, they used to tell us that the only way we'd ever win Hispanic votes is if we go for amnesty, if we go for Spanish language everywhere, we totally embrace all this.
And Trump ran to the exact opposite of that.
He said economics and deportations—and he talked about Deportations, pretty much every single chance he possibly could, even if you didn't ask him a question about deportations, he would somehow get it back to deportations.
He'd be like, oh, what do you think of Iran?
He's like, well, you know, Iran's going to be really scared when we start deporting everybody.
He's like, wait, what?
Yeah, because it includes all their agents and all their sleeper cells, right?
That's right.
So talk to me about, you came from Texas, you saw the switch, you saw the flip.
How was it that Trump was able to cut across all of that old, bad thinking?
Yeah, I think that what most people don't realize is for all the people in Texas on the border, I mean, we have 1,254 miles of border in Texas, and the communities along the border were just devastated with the illegals coming across, bailing out of cars, stressing all the law enforcement.
People just didn't feel safe on the border.
And that was just, I think, a huge contributing factor.
Couple that with some of the social issues, it turns out that, you know, Hispanic people are people of faith and family is important to them.
And, you know, the radical leftists just, you know, attacking family at every turn, I think, just was like the perfect storm for Texas.
That's right, faith and family.
I mean, George W. Bush used to say this all the time, that, you know, a lot of Hispanics are personally conservative, and they have conservative families, and they have those conservative values.
We didn't see it in the voting, though, because this is something that I think really needs to be harped on, is that a lot of the Mitt Romney, the Paul Ryan type of politicians, they were seen as weak.
And you saw a lot of Hispanic men Flip over, and that's because they viewed Trump as a strong candidate.
Not just a candidate, but a strong leader.
Someone who would actually go in, who would stand up to, well, just about anybody, and come in.
And if you look, I said this on a show we were doing yesterday with Dr.
Taylor Marshall, who was also in Texas, and we said, look, you look across the Spanish-speaking world, and Hispanic males tend to go for the strong Leaders.
It makes so much sense.
They're not looking for someone who, you know, just based on the identity crap.
That's all Democrats do.
The Democrats want that.
They're talking about someone who's actually going to be a good leader.
Because as it turns out, the price of goods, the price of fuel, the price of everything affects everybody.
Anyone who doesn't like the cartels, who doesn't like the violence, who doesn't like fentanyl?
The people who live there!
It's ridiculous.
It's completely ridiculous.
So talk to me a little bit about how all of that...
So what are the politics of Texas and how is it changing with this new Trump resurgence?
I'm going to get in trouble for talking about this.
Yeah!
You know, Texas still has a large contingent of people who are kind of of the Bush wing of the party and kind of this notion that we have to...
As Republicans, be in the middle and govern from the middle and that's what people want.
And I couldn't disagree more.
I think Donald Trump showed us that bold leadership actually works.
You know, when you just, the Paul Ryan wing, I mean, was he still crying when you saw him, by the way?
His face was dry, but his eyes were red.
It was a long night.
A little puffy.
It just turns out that people appreciate Donald Trump's leadership.
He says what he's going to do, and he does it.
That's the kind of politician I think most people, when they elect people to office, they want them to do what they said they were going to do.
When they don't, then you end up with people like maybe some senators we've been talking about recently.
I mean, since you bring it up, I would be remiss without asking.
So, John Cornyn, your senator, someone who, now look, the Senate, I wanted Rick Scott.
I would have loved to see Rick Scott there.
Rick Scott didn't have the votes.
However, comma, Mitch McConnell really wanted John Cornyn in.
John Cornyn didn't get it Either.
This was a guy, and he was running around D.C. telling everybody that he was going to get it.
He, in fact, did not get it.
He's been there for quite some time.
I believe he's in cycle right now.
He's up in 26.
Certainly something that I would imagine there's a lot of Texas politicos that are taking a look at that seat.
Because, you know, Cornyn is someone who's been there, and look, I'm just going to say it, I remember when he got booed off the stage at the Texas GOP convention.
What, was that two years ago, one year ago, give or take?
Yeah, and that was over his support for red flag laws at the time.
It seems to me, though, that this is an issue, and we talked about this yesterday, in a lot of the safe red states is that you get these politicians who come in, and I'm just going to say it, a couple of Philly guys say this to an actual Texan, but it's like they put on the cowboy hat when it comes election time in the boots, and they say, Hey, I'm one of you!
And, you know, they do the accent a little bit.
And then they go back to D.C. and they're just as stiff.
And they're just a total stiff.
And it's like, wait a minute, you know, what's going on?
So this is what I would say to the people of any of those states, not just Texas, is you've got to hold your own politicians' feet to the fire.
We're talking about accountability, right?
That's right.
And I think that's what primaries are for.
I think I'm all for robust primaries.
I think we're probably going to see a robust primary in 2026.
Lots of people have been talking about it.
There are a number of people who I think could potentially be lined up for that.
So, you know, not having a Senate Majority Leader from Texas maybe is going to be a benefit for a primary challenger.
I think if Cornyn had won the Senate Majority Leader position, it would have been a heavier lift.
Oh, yeah.
But yeah, I think this really opens him up.
I mean, he's not favored among the grassroots.
The grassroots are not happy with him at all.
Like you said, just at the state convention in front of 10,000 grassroots folks, he was literally booed off the stage.
He was literally booed off.
I didn't pull the clip, but I've got it out there on Twitter.
I think I tweeted it out the other day.
I mean, it was just ridiculous.
It was just ridiculous to think that a guy from the great—and, by the way, We're not from Texas or South in any way, but we'd go down there and be like, wow, this place is great.
This place is awesome.
We're used to being surrounded by Democrats and Union Democrats, the real knuckle-dragger type up there.
We got a little bit of a scrap at the Eagles game.
Yeah, we did.
We did.
Hey, listen, if it doesn't follow through, though, I'll get some of those union dock workers, or we'll come down to the Texas border, like when Greg Abbott and the National Guard set up that security.
I'll get on the telehandler, man.
I'll set up some shipping containers.
We'll push loads through.
At one point, he was putting Connex boxes down there.
And the federal government was trying to sue him to stop him from doing all this.
It's like, wait a minute.
Texas, you know, we used to our own country.
Right.
We're a sovereign state, and so congratulations to Texas, and Governor Abbott, I think, has let out on this issue.
Six Flags Over Texas, right?
We don't talk about Flag Six.
We don't mention that one.
That was the one that goes around.
It's where they get the name of the amusement park, Six Flags Over Texas.
The one I could always remember was France.
Because of that little bit of Louisiana, because it was France.
I was like, where's that French flag?
What's that doing there?
But no, this is a huge realignment.
It's all about the Trump agenda coming forward.
So we've got to talk about this, guys.
The fact that President Trump has returned triumphantly.
And we've got the clips and we've got some of the footage.
Look at these Biden staffers, by the way.
Guys, look at this right here on the screen.
Look at these Bidens.
They're crying.
They're crying up there.
They're losing it.
They're sitting back.
Wait, wait, wait.
Put them crying back there.
Put the crying back on.
I want to see that.
That was so ridiculous.
That's the last time Trump was there.
We didn't do it, Joe.
We didn't do it.
This wasn't the way.
And then I got a picture.
The amount of cringe.
Do you remember when Elon took over Twitter and we just found all this cringe?
It was like, stay woke t-shirts and stuff like that.
Yeah, he brought in the sink.
He brought in the sink.
Yeah, let that sink in.
And so Elon was all on the plane with him today.
And I found a picture of an entire office that was covered with cut-out cardboard photos of Doug Emhoff.
Doug Emhoff.
It's the cringe compilation that you've never seen before.
And that's what's going on in our White House.
And they call us a cult, by the way.
They call us a cult, and that's what was going on.
I don't think so.
Absolutely ridiculous.
But I got a question, guys.
Where was Kamala Harris today?
Did you see Kamala Harris today?
She wasn't there, was she?
Scaring children?
No!
No, that's Tim Walz.
That's Tim Walz.
That's true.
She's just staring at a blank teleprompter.
Right, so Melania, we heard Melania snubbed the meeting with Joe Biden, and this came out, no, her office hasn't confirmed this, but there were some people saying, and we know that when Melania was putting her book out, she did some interviews, and she talked about how she took it very personally that not only did they raid Mar-a-Lago, but they went into her bedroom and were opening her drawers and rifling through her clothing, her personal clothing, and said, why would I sit down?
Why should she expect to sit down?
Because that's where all the documents are.
That's what the documents are being.
It's insane.
So I hide mine.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
We don't need to talk about that.
We don't have to talk about where Dad used to go through finding your stash, man.
Oh, what?
What kind of stash?
What are you talking about here?
Oh, it's just baseball cards.
It's baseball cards and bubblegum, right?
That explains a lot about Jack.
He used to eat all the gum from the baseball card.
I did eat all the gum.
I love the really old ones when it was hard and he chewed it up a little bit.
All right, folks.
We'll be right back.
1776, humanevents.com.
What are your questions as to what's going on in the transition?
We'll be right back.
Long hours.
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.

So during the break, Kevin just went down to the beach and he saw this guy just kind of walking around down the beach screaming.
He was screaming at the top of his lungs on his cell phone.
And Kevin said, who is that man?
And of course, it was Darren Beatty from Revolver News.
Was that the New York Times you were on with, or was it the CIA? I can never tell.
You know, what's the difference?
What's the difference at this point?
The same difference.
Darren, welcome to Human Events.
I have to ask you, man.
So your good buddy, Pete Hegseth, over there.
What's up with that?
How about that?
What a surprise.
You know, I think it's great.
It's encouraging.
We've got to get him across the finish line.
That's going to be the big issue.
But I remember back at the time...
We had a big show once talking about Bishop Garrison.
So who is Bishop Garrison and what role did he play in the Biden Pentagon?
Yeah, in the Biden Pentagon, he was essentially the guy who was the ideological veteran chief for the entire Pentagon who made decisions about, okay, who's saying something that's appropriate, who's not, who do we ax, who do we not ax.
He was a Trump hater.
Gone into his record and he was doing the typical stuff.
Oh, Trump is a national security threat.
Trump is this, Trump is that.
So he became sort of the paradigmatic example of everything that you saw across the security bureaucracy.
He was that thing in the Pentagon.
So I'm hoping— He's sort of the chief inquisitor.
Precisely.
So now that it's personal and Pete has done a major segment on him, I hope that it's a day one fire.
Oh, I think so.
It's got to be a day one fire.
Maybe even worse.
I wish there was something worse that he could do, fire and just deprive him of his pension or whatever.
He doesn't deserve anything.
Well, let's reckon, now, was he, had he been military or was he only civilian?
I think he was military.
Well, if he's military, if he's retired military, there are a few, then he's eligible for court-martial.
Yeah.
Then he's absolutely eligible for court-martial, eligible to a whole host of effects that can be done.
And when it comes down to it, though, I think...
What a lot of people are looking at from Pete Hegseth, and if you look at some of the, obviously the new book that he came out with, and the conversations he's been having, really, he was here on this program, we did an entire special on this.
It's, he's looking at the military as something where he, by the way, he's currently serving in the military, in the reserves, which is something that has happened before with Secretary of Defense.
And he says, look, this isn't the military I joined.
Yeah.
You know, he joined in 2003, so the post-9-11 military was—and you can see the videos when you look at soldiers from that era and—actually, Beau, I know you were close with Chris Kyle when that all happened.
So when you look at that situation, when you look at all of that caliber of— Military, and by the way, fighting males.
This is something that Pete Hegseth is getting excoriated over right now, saying that females shouldn't be in combat roles.
He's right.
It's just an obvious statement to make.
His whole idea isn't necessarily, I think, in terms of pointing the military in one direction or another as pertains to Foreign policy or going down one of these neocon, we're gonna go to war with Iran, we're gonna go with Syria.
It's no, but it's preparing the military and restoring the military to this idea of, I mean, it's like those, and I'm just gonna say it, when you watch the Russian or Chinese military commercials for recruitment, it's like, oh, It looks like the old marine commercials from the 1990s.
Kevin, remember the dragon?
No, remember in the campaign he had Arlie Ermey with the full metal jacket?
Yeah, the full metal jacket commercial.
Against all the trans people in the military?
Yeah, precisely.
Come on, let's bring that back.
It's as simple as that.
And so, Darren, is that how you view it?
Is he going to go through and find these political commissars and just start rooting them out like cavities in your teeth?
I certainly hope so.
I mean, that seems to be a no-brainer, especially folks like Bishop Garrison.
As for the women in combat, I think all of those things are really important.
That might be a harder lift just due to political correctness that has seeped into every bureaucracy, including the Pentagon.
But it seems to me that's such a no-brainer, not just for military, but, you know, I'll say it, even for certain law enforcement jobs, it seems like it puts everyone in In a greater degree of danger, and it's just a matter of applying common sense, not being discriminatory, but in the literal, precise, and absolutely justified sense of the terms as discriminating between what makes sense and what doesn't make sense.
The Communists were taking over Soviet Russia, and I wrote about this in Unhumans.
One of the very first areas that they targeted in terms of institutions was the Russian Imperial Army.
And Lenin and Trotsky would go in, and this is as they were in the conduct of World War I, and they would go to these units, and the very first thing they would do is they would find people who were disgruntled, that's for sure, You know what else they would do is they would start introducing political commissars for each unit and they would say, we need more diversity in this unit.
I kid you not, they would actually say that and they would use the word diversity.
And they would say, this unit doesn't have enough Cossacks in the unit or you need some more Siberians here or you need some more Tanya's over here, the Bulgars, and various different ethnic groups of Russia.
And the whole point was to destabilize these units and then play on their...
Look, anyone who's fighting a war is going to have grievances.
Anyone who's being forced to...
Not forced, but ordered to march against the armies of Bismarck and the Habsburgs in Central Europe.
Of course, it was World War I. It was an incredibly dangerous and incredibly fatal war.
He used the military as a program to destabilize it, and then those military defectors became the nucleus for the Red Army.
And so, look, do I think that's what's going on now?
No, but it is something similar, isn't it?
It is similar.
And, you know, we had an interesting piece a while back at Revolver.News that played off of the word of, you know, the Janissaries of the Ottoman Empire and kind of this concept of the trans-series, of the trans as somehow the fitting, emblematic warrior for the globalist American empire.
And there's sort of—it's this weird combination of strength and And vulnerability and utter dependency on the regime.
They're utterly dependent on the regime.
Well, and also a transition.
The Janissaries were all plucked from noble houses of Europe, taken as children, many of which castrated, and then brought up as warriors among the sultan.
They made it as far as Vienna, but I seem to remember, Kev, who was it in Vienna that stopped the Janissaries again?
Was it Subaru?
Sobieski.
Oh, Sobieski and the Winged Hussars.
King Sobieski and the Winged Hussars had something else to say about that one.
Yes.
But it's true.
They used them as the elite fighting force for the Turkish Ottomans as they were crusading across Europe.
But there was something about the, you know, we've taken who should have been your elite soldier caste, the warrior caste, and then turned them against you.
Right.
How do you even do that when you castrate them?
Well, I mean, that's what Darren's talking about.
It's sort of this combination of strength and vulnerability at the same time.
Yeah, well, when you think about it, you have, in some cases, you know, you have especially the male to female.
They have kind of male brains still.
The advantages of that, they're on these hormones and so they develop kind of a female sensibility for things.
They're in the top of the victim hierarchy which is extremely important politically to navigate the situation.
they're entirely vulnerable and so dependent on the regime, and they often don't have the preconditions for families, so the regime is their entire family.
And so, in a way, they make perfect soldiers for this kind of regime.
It's an odd fit.
It's not just why is it that the trans thing became such an issue now?
Is it haphazard?
Is it random?
There's some odd and deep congruity between what our regime was becoming, and hopefully we're pivoting to a different direction, but what the regime was shaping up to be, and this odd and grotesque kind of representative and this odd and grotesque kind of representative of that.
Let's put it.
I believe Trump has said this, but what do we think?
Should Trump bring back the ban on trans in the military?
What do you think?
100%.
100%, Kev?
No, I think we should definitely have drag shows in barracks.
More fingernail mandates.
We need more hair extension mandates.
We need more trans-colored uniforms.
Oh, Kev's trying to get in, folks.
Kev's trying to get in.
That's what it is.
He's trying to get there.
How about this?
Let's reserve a special small trans unit just for our enemies that we really want to humiliate.
Like, we'll have the trans going, like, that's gotta be bad.
Okay, the trans unit, you know, blowing guys up, you know, have the worst terrorists.
Something's going on in Gaza.
Imagine if it was transsexual.
This will be the very last episode of Human Events Daily, by the way.
There's a joke in there, son.
It's been cancelled on every single topic at this point.
I even got Gaza in there.
Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back.

Very much a tariffs guy.
I think he's not opposed.
All right, not opposed.

So, guys, we're looking at President Trump now has just left Washington, D.C. He is currently en route back here to the West Palm Beach area.
He'll probably be landing in about an hour or two.
I'll be over at Mar-a-Lago tonight.
You going to be at Mar-a-Lago tonight, Beau?
Of course.
Darren, you coming?
You coming?
All right, all right.
Darren's coming.
And Kevin, you're going to try to sneak in?
Yeah, I'll be on the beach first.
He's going to the beach.
Kevin is going to try to sneak in.
Like, have you seen they have the robot dogs now walking around Mar-a-Lago?
Yeah, that's right.
Kevin's going to disguise himself as one of the robot dogs and try to get in.
Got some emails in over the break that I want to get into.
All right, so two questions.
Oh boy, here we go.
A lot of, and they're related, so I'm just going to combine these.
We got a question from Jack in Boston saying, Jack and Kevin, Will there be a place for Rick Grinnell in the new administration?
And the next one we have in here, Poso Bros, what are you hearing about Kash Patel and potentially the FBI? I mean, I'll say it this way.
You know, we're hearing a lot of different things.
The rumors are flying.
What I will say, though, and Darren, if you've heard anything different, let me know.
But this...
The question of Secretary of State Rubio, that it's not locked up, that it is not yet locked up.
So we saw this big report from Maggie Haberman in the New York Times saying that it was Rubio and there's this sort of shadow campaign already to replace Rubio and have Ron DeSantis appoint, you know, maybe it's going to be Ashley I mean, she'd be a fantastic senator.
But the question is, will the Senate seat actually be open?
By the way, Vivek Ramaswamy has pulled himself from contention for the Ohio seat because J.D. Vance has, obviously, essentially vacated.
He's not vacated the seat yet, but he is in the process of vacating the seat and will, as of January I think it's actually a few days before where he vacates.
Now, that's a position...
Senate gets...
And so, the rules of the road are like this, folks.
Senate seats get appointed by the governor, whereas House seats, all House seats, it's a special election.
And that special election is set by the governor.
Now, this is going to be a question for a lot of these areas.
Elise Stefanik, by the way...
That is not, you know, a super safe district for Republicans.
The date will be set by Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul up in New York State.
This is one of the reasons, by the way, that Scalise and Johnson have been telling Trump, say, stop picking House members because, you know, we only have, I think, what, a two, three-seat majority in the House.
It's very, very tight.
And then the question, of course, so, yeah, Rick Grinnell definitely in the mix, Kash Patel definitely in the mix.
And I'm not prepared.
I have not heard anything definitive on either of them.
However, latest state of play, of course, we saw John Ratcliffe has been announced as the CIA nominee.
Texan.
Another Texan, by the way.
Happened to see him down at Mar-a-Lago as well yesterday.
And there is a contention for Tulsi Gabbard as DNI. Although I'm also receiving some messages here this morning that even though it's out there and her name has come up, it's also kind of in flux.
So, as well as Secretary of State.
So, Darren, walk me through some of the stuff that you're hearing regarding these foreign policy positions.
Well, I mean, I think it's safe to say if it's not officially announced, it's not official.
Yeah.
And by the way, Darren, as a guy who's lived through one of these transitions before...
Yeah.
Yeah, if it's not officially announced, it's not official.
I'd say so far the appointments have been very encouraging and entirely consistent with, I think, some of the major mandate items on the table.
Primarily, immigration issue.
That's a major agenda item, a major mandate item.
By the way, Kevin has volunteered to just, you know, basically work for free for Tom Homan, wherever he is.
Tom, when I met you in Pennsylvania, let me know.
Certified forklift driver.
We'll get all the shipping containers you need, all the barbed wire.
I'm ready for you.
Yeah, we go up to this, and you'd appreciate it, we're at a Second Amendment event, speaking out, doing chasing ballots up in the Scranton, PA area, and Kevin here hears that Tom Homan's around.
He's like, so Tom spoke, I guess, right before me at the event, and Kevin goes, wait, Tom Homan's speaking?
Gone.
Like, wait, Kev, I'm gonna speak...
Kev?
What?
Just, no.
He's like, I want a picture with that guy.
Yeah.
Well, he's very special and extremely accomplished in the last administration.
He's the kind of guy where...
Although, interestingly, not going for the secretary of Homeland Security, rather going for the border czar as opposed to the whole secretary.
And a lot of people were asking, why not Homeland for this?
Why not?
And, Darren, you've got a perspective on this from being inside, but...
What I would say is the Department of Homeland Security, I mean, that's a massive organization.
When Bush stood it up, it does so much more than just the border.
You've got Secret Service.
You've got an intelligence quotient there.
You've got INW. You've got TSA. I would have thought the DHS would be a much more...
Exactly.
I know that's filled, but it would have, I think, been much more appropriate for someone like...
Vivek, or someone who is interested in scaling down the bureaucracy, cleaning out the hornet's nest.
Because, like you said, the DHS, which is sort of the ugly stepchild of the national security bureaucracy, it was created under dubious conditions in the aftermath of the war on terror.
And then when the war on terror concluded, more or less, it needed a purpose for itself.
And the purpose that it adopted was to be the tip of the spear in this very dangerous trend of weaponizing the national security state for domestic political purposes.
The DHS is the tip of the spear at that, and you can go back several years for them to kind of Provide, I guess, what the Fed might call forward guidance as far as what their actual agenda was.
And they fulfilled that agenda spectacularly.
Remember, they were the first organization...
Actually, my co-author Joshua Lysak introduced a new neologism to me called forth-telling.
So it's foretelling.
Essentially, they tell you who the new target is going to be, and then they sort of create the new target in order to fill what they have told.
So they're foretelling.
And so they changed it all to, oh, you Republicans, you Trump supporters, you're domestic terrorists, so we have to worry about this new domestic terrorist extremist element that's rising up within the United States.
And then they play a role in actually fomenting that.
Right, right.
And so, like you said, there's so much going on within the DHS. Mayorkas, unfortunately, turned it into the Department of Open Borders.
But it's so much more than that.
Remember, the ill-fated Disinformation Governance Board with our friend, Nina Yankovic.
That was under the auspices of the DHS. Poor Nina.
I think that Nina Yankovic actually should receive a role in the Trump administration, don't you think?
I think we can find a place for her, you know, maybe as like a sort of traveling minstrel of sorts.
She can just sort of walk around and as people are being fired from the various intelligence agencies and the various other agencies, she can sing show tunes to them from Harry Potter and, you know, she'll be required to sing those as they pack their things and they walk out to make them feel better.
Yeah.
No, it's amazing.
I'd love to know what she's up to now, if they came up with some sinecure for her.
But actually, I think she had to register as a FARA for the British government.
That's right.
Oh yeah, the integrity initiative finally caught up with her.
She's the only person that I can think of who served in the deep states of Ukraine, the United States, and now the UK. Yeah.
Which is, you know, in that capacity, kind of all the same thing in terms of what she was doing.
In terms of what she was doing, it's the same network, and that's the Integrity Initiative.
We've got a quick break.
We're coming up.
We're broadcasting it here, folks.
We've got Beau French, we've got Darren Beattie, Kate Poso, and we're just yucking it up.
But here's the truth, folks.
We got to fight, and you need fighters to fight a war.
Jack is a great guy.
He's written a fantastic book.
Everybody's talking about it.
Go get it.
And he's been my friend right from the beginning All right, folks, Jack Posovic back live.
The Mar-a-Lago editions of Human Events Daily here in Palm Beach, Florida.

All right, guys.
The big enchilada right now, the big news that dropped last night, DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency.
This is the talk of the town.
And D.C., of course, is already saying, oh, it's not real.
There's no statutory authority.
There's just some up-job consultants.
They'll never do anything.
And I'm like...
It's Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Those are two characters that, number one, I would never bet against Elon Musk.
And number two, I would never count out Vivek Ramaswamy.
Seeing what he's done over the last three years in politics, I mean, you understand, this guy's a player.
He's a fireball.
He's a fireball, and he's coming for you, and his foot is going to be in every single door that you try to shut, and he's never going to let up.
So here's my question, guys.
Let's all go around and say, what would be your number one thing that you think that they should cut from the U.S. government?
Bo, what do you think?
The number one thing?
Oh my God, where do I start?
You've got to pick one.
You've got to pick one.
I mean, as a Texas guy, as a gun guy, maybe the ATF? Oh, let's go!
Wow, he's setting the bar pretty high there, man.
Most guys will be like, well, Department of Education or Trans Program.
And he's like, no, ATF, gone.
Which Hunter Biden would like, by the way, because they're the ones prosecuted to give.
And he's broken all the...
I mean, and when you look at it, constitutionally speaking, so many of these agencies just fly in the face of the Constitution.
In that case, the Second Amendment.
Right.
I mean, the Second Amendment is literally in the Constitution as part of the founding documents.
It's what our country, you know, historically, if you read the Federalist Papers about defending, you know, the individual, it was very, it was just part of society, part of, you know, the way people were back then.
And they envisioned that continuing into the future.
And we have people now just talk about, oh, no, we're going to take away guns and we're going to limit guns.
And no, literally, we're supposed to have the same guns that the military had.
Of course I asked the Texan the first thing he says to the ATF. All right, Kev, what do you got?
What do you got?
I'm locked up between the EPA and the FDA. We're trying to make America healthy again.
I want a return of raw milk.
There's no raw milk down here in Florida.
Oh, okay.
All right.
And there's so many roadblocks to it.
We saw it in Pennsylvania amongst the Amish voters and other farmers.
We need more freedom.
And that's what Elon's been talking about in all the town halls I was at.
He brought it up at least once every night about There's so many bureaucrats in D.C. and part of draining the swamp is getting out all these brake pedals everywhere he looks.
He's an analogy guy.
So there's all brake pedals everywhere.
And coming in with those is going to be all accelerators.
Take all this stuff out.
It's so simple.
What we could do just to fire some of these people and Make it efficient.
And Kev, don't bury the lead, by the way, is that on Election Day, Kevin actually organized vans.
How many shuttle vans did you have?
Oh, well, that's true.
Give or take.
We had about four or five vans.
So he identified 19 Amish weddings that were going on on Election Day, and he was sending the vans, because they could ride in the van as long as they didn't drive, right?
And he was sending the vans to the weddings, getting the Amish to the polls, and then getting them...
You were Amish harvesting.
You were actually Amish harvesting.
It was a straw hat surge.
A straw hat surge.
We got about...
10,000, give or take, because each Amish wedding, traditional Amish weddings, they have at least four to six hundred people.
Oh, yeah.
And they were all just happened to be that same day.
So they were on standby early on.
On a Tuesday.
And quick, quick shout out to Trump Force 47.
They had volunteer drivers come in and shuttle people around as their own service.
But then after the wedding, they all came out.
They all came out.
And this was the big thing for them with the FDA and the fact that the FDA was prosecuting them.
So, Darren, we've got to go to you.
Doge, you've obviously written a lot about Elon.
If you had to pick one thing, what would it be?
Well, I'll have to be boring and say the DHS. I'd have to be boring and say the DHS. And the entire constellation of taxpayer-funded NGOs that help to sustain a very poisonous and counterproductive presence in all sorts of arenas, including censorship, including foreign influence and all of these things.
So that would be my first thing.
DHS and all of the NGOs surrounding.
All right, here's mine.
Here's mine, though.
I just, and I'm just going to ask, I'm going to ask, like, I don't even need any money for this.
I'll do it as a volunteer.
I want to just get a little special, like a card, like a pink, like credit card kind of thing, and I just want to go and fly around to every single airport in America and walk up to each TSA agent individually and fire every single one of them.
You're fired.
And this is what happens when I touch them with the card.
You're fired.
You're fired.
Afuera.
No more ministry.
No, I mean, it's the TSA. It is the most ridiculous.
It's just union, make work, job.
I mean, so obviously something that could be done with computers, that could be done with robotics.
By the way, those guys don't even catch anything.
They don't even catch any.
It's ridiculous.
All right, Darren, where can people follow you, brother?
Revolver.News.
We're at the cutting edge of all of it.
The appointments, what's going on.
