This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
This is Human Events with your host Jack Posobiec.
National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan visiting Beijing on Thursday holding rare meetings with his Chinese counterpart and President Xi Jinping.
The Chinese officials issuing a new warning telling the U.S.
to stop supplying weapons and tactical support to Taiwan.
We didn't reach any specific agreements on the South China Sea.
My husband and I were married almost 10 years ago.
We wanted to start a family.
We were very excited about it.
Unfortunately, it was very difficult.
We were not successful in trying to get pregnant.
For us, IVF seemed to be the only option and the last resort.
As you know, it's a pretty difficult process.
It's very, very expensive.
Under the Trump administration, your government will pay for, or your insurance company will be mandated to pay for, all costs associated with IVF treatment.
Fertilization for women.
IVF treatment.
Because we want more babies, to put it very nicely.
And for this same reason, we will also allow new parents to deduct major newborn expenses from their taxes, so that parents that have a beautiful baby We'll be able.
So we're pro-family.
You suggested that you happened to turn black recently for political purposes.
Next question please.
That's it?
That's it.
You said that you carried weapons in war but you have never deployed actually in a war zone.
Telling my grammar's not always correct.
You have been vice president for three and a half years.
The steps that you're talking about now Why haven't you done them already?
We should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.
To maintain binomics is a success.
There's more to do, but that's good work.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily here live, Washington, D.C.
Today is August 30th, 2024.
Anno Domini.
Very honored to announce here, and we put the title on next a couple of minutes ago, that our special guest today will be Christy Shamblin, who is the mother of SAS Sergeant Nicole Gee, one of the Marines who lost her life, who sacrificed her life for others.
Saving refugees from Afghanistan three years ago.
Christy was at the memorial in Arlington and she'll be joining us in just a few moments to talk about not just the media's response and the attacks on all of this and the attacks on President Trump, but also why it's important that we honor are fallen and that why we do things like this in the first place because of course the media would rat would not be talking about
abbygate had all of this not happened and had president trump not gone there so there's a lot of news over the past couple of days Look, last night, of course, Kamala Harris giving her first interview.
Look, I'm going to come out and say this was not a game changer disaster for her.
She, you know, she sort of struggled her way through it, but it was mid.
This was not the presidential level appearance that she needed to put in.
She didn't do what she needed to do.
This is something that showed that she's generally unprepared.
She's clearly not fit to lead.
And look, when your best is the JV level, then guess what?
You're not ready for prime time.
Okay?
This is the presidency of the United States.
This is the toughest job on the face of the planet.
And if your best is something that's going to come in like, you know, freshman, sophomore year, JV squad, no, not ready.
Not ready.
Guess what?
We've got another guy waiting in the wings who's much, much better and already tested who can do the job better than you.
And by the way, this huge town hall, which was held last night, Trump and Tulsi, of course, Tulsi telling a heartbreaking story about attempting to get pregnant using IVF, didn't work.
President Trump coming in and discussing some new policies regarding IVF, some of which have created a bit of a firestorm on the internet.
A lot of pro-lifers saying, wait a minute, we don't support this because the current IVF procedure leads to the wholesale destruction of embryos.
And while we support people having families and having babies, What we don't support is the wholesale destruction of the embryos that are created and then not implanted.
Now, this is something that, of course, for religious exemptions, that would obviously be something that I would personally push for and like to see in any kind of proposal like that.
And I'd also like to see, by the way, some more discussion.
I said this at CPAC, some more discussion about embryonic adoption.
This idea that pro-lifers and conservatives, I would hope, would get behind that.
If IVF is going to exist, why don't we have some tax credits or something to support these embryonic centers the same way that we have pro-life crisis pregnancy centers, even though the left keeps trying to burn them down.
Stay tuned.
We'll be right back here at Human Events Daily.

Jack, so like where's Jack?
Jack, he's done a great job.
All right, Jack, so big back live here, Human Events Daily.
Folks, you've all heard the news from Elon Musk.
He said that if Apple were to implement open AI into their operating systems, that all Apple products would be banned from each of Elon's businesses.
And if you happen to visit him at any of his offices, you would have to check your Apple device at the door in a Faraday cage.
Because Elon understands that we have to stop big tech and government overreach.
There is no other option.
You have to protect yourself and the best way to start doing that is with Silent.
Silent's Faraday products block all incoming and outgoing signals so that no one can get their hands on your information.
We're talking key fobs, phones, laptops.
You place your device inside one of these pouches, one of these sleeves.
They also have backpacks.
It's great.
And then boom!
You're off the grid.

She's the mother-in-law of Staff Sergeant Nicole Gee who lost her life in the attack on Abbey Gate in Kabul, Afghanistan during the withdrawal, during the humanitarian evacuation.
She was standing watch and there was this a viral picture of her that came out a few days prior to this of her cradling one of the children of Afghanistan, one of the infants that they were getting out.
So this is just an incredible story.
It is a one of the most moving images and also one of the most heartbreaking images.
Someone who put others before self, someone who went where her country asked her to go.
And it's also become the subject of a controversy and a firestorm that, quite frankly, has completely overshadowed the story of the sacrifice of Nicole G and what she did there at Abbey Gate and the families that are involved in the And so we've got Christy Shamblin joining us now.
Christy, how are you?
Good, thank you.
Well, I have to ask you, did you ever expect that when you were putting together the memorial for all of this and for Nicole, that it would turn into such a media firestorm?
No, no, no expectation of that.
You know, our families invited President Trump to lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with each of our three families from the three that are buried there at Arlington from the Abbey Gate
evacuation and he graciously accepted our invitation and then visited Graveside with us and spent time talking to all of our family members and we shared experiences and stories about our loved ones with him and it was beautiful and respectful and on the third year anniversary it was very healing for our families.
The aftermath is unexpected for sure.
Oh, I can certainly imagine that.
So when all of this came down, just tell me your side of the story from that day.
When you were there that day, when you took the photos, you went over to the gravesite, what was it like being there with the former president and the other family members?
And I believe also some of the members of the unit were also there.
Absolutely, yeah.
It was beautiful.
Arlington is just a sacred, beautiful place.
It's always really very peaceful for us and we just enjoy the time that we are able to spend with our loved one there.
The event, we did it a little early.
We had a lot of coordination with Arlington and with You know, President Trump's team to try to not have distractions from any other funerals or any, you know, school groups or anything that might be going through.
We're very respectful towards Arlington.
Of course, that's where Nicole will rest for the rest of her life.
And, you know, when President Trump came graveside to pay his respects and lay flowers at our at our loved ones graves, it was beautiful.
So respectful.
I don't even think he said more than a handful of words.
He listened.
He listened to everybody's stories.
He spoke to our wounded warriors.
It was a beautiful time.
I didn't see any altercations anywhere, and it was a very small number of people that were at the graves with us.
Very respectful, and once he paid his respects to each of our families, you know, he departed quietly, and we went about our day of visiting with Nicole and our family.
I'm just not sure why this has kind of, well, I, you know, why this has gone this way.
It's, it's sad because it is distracting.
We should be celebrating the fact that the Commander-in-Chief was visiting fallen heroes and instead we're, you know, kind of focusing on what I think is a little bit of a made up story about a disrespectful, um, you know, appearance at Section 60.
So you mentioned made up story and by the way that's absolutely right and your daughter-in-law was and is a hero and I say that as a Navy veteran myself and served with lots of Marines and you know we have our inter you know inter-service rivalry you know they say oh you guys are the sister department of the Marine Corps and
We always joke about eating crayons and all sorts of stuff with the Marines.
But, you know, when it comes down to it, you know, we're all brothers and sisters in arms.
And, you know, in any situation like this where someone doesn't come home, it's always horrific.
But when you hear the stories of what Nicole was doing while she was there, helping people, helping children to get onto that plane, to get out, when we know that both the Taliban and ISIS were targeting that, And it seems to me, by the way, and I don't know if you've talked to anyone who was in communication with her this time, when she went off to this mission, did she give any indication that she was in fear for her life?
Was she scared?
Was she emotional about the threat that she faced?
Was there any talk of that?
She, looking back, you know, she didn't express any fear.
She told us over and over again that her brothers and sisters in arms had her back, that she was protected.
That she felt she was there doing God's work.
She described to me seeing a level of desperation that she could not understand.
And I think that they all saw that.
I know they all saw that.
And that's what drove them to continue to do what they were doing for 10 days, you know, while our State Department clocked off at 5 o'clock.
They're owed a debt of gratitude that I don't know that any of us can ever repay, but it can certainly be respected.
And the fact is that we invited the current administration to Arlington, and we never hear back from them.
Every time we've had interaction with President Trump, it's at the invitation of both parties, and we don't get a response from one party.
So we just want our loved ones honored and respected and we want this not to happen again and to ignore these heroes that died just cements that it's going to happen again.
You have to problem solve and find out what went wrong and how to fix it and President Trump is going to help us do that.
Do you think that it would have been potentially a moment for America to put down sort of the partisanship and the bickering and the divisiveness if President Biden and or Vice President Harris had shown up?
I think that would have been an opportunity.
Absolutely.
Would have been an opportunity for the Harris and Biden administration to show that they do respect our loved ones that were killed in action.
But we haven't had those responses from them at all.
And then there was no response, no follow-up.
That's so strange to me because you would think that there are certainly some things in Arlington Memorial Cemetery and the National Cemetery there.
Memorial Cemetery and the National Cemetery there, this is the whole point of it because it is supposed to be beyond politics and I certainly believe it's beyond politics, but we also have a situation where this came up in between administrations.
This is the whole point of it because it is supposed to be beyond politics.
And I certainly believe it's beyond politics.
But we also have a situation where this came up in between administrations.
This entire plan came down to one administration put it in play.
This entire plan came down to one administration put it in play.
The other one actually led to oversaw the operations there and it has become a contentious issue, but you would think you would think that it could be a moment where we could all stand together, not as you know, reds and blues,
but just Americans and say, we respect the fact but just Americans and say, we respect the fact that these were the final 13 Americans in uniform to lose their lives in the Afghanistan war and of that they are owed our respect very simply.
And we're going to We can have all the arguments later and the investigations, and those are also owed, by the way.
But you would think that at a memorial service, like a memorial to 9-11 or Pearl Harbor or some other incident in our country's long history, that that's something where you could put partisanship aside.
You would hope so, and I continue to hope so.
I have faith in the American dream, you know, and that for me is that everybody can come together and know that we do have a same goal.
We do have a solid American value system to stand on, and it doesn't include forgetting our veterans and really discarding those people that have given their life for our freedoms.
Well, I couldn't agree more.
Christy, we've got a quick break coming up, but I'd love to keep the conversation going because I think it's important, by the way, that the entire media is talking about it, that we ought to hear your side of the story as being a member of the Gold Star family that was directly affected here.
And it's strange to me why the mainstream media hasn't been interviewing you and putting you on, but we're happy to do so here at Human Events Daily.
Quick break, folks.
We'll be right back with Christy Schammel.
Jack Posobiec back live here, Human Events Daily.
into all that slappy whack trimatazolidza-bam ship, nippy bam bam, like "Human Events" with Jack Posobiec. - Jack Posobiec back live here, "Human Events Daily." We're sitting down with the mother-in-law of Sergeant Nicole G., Her name is Christy Shamblin.
She spoke at the RNC.
She was there at the Arlington Memorial on Monday with President Trump for the three-year anniversary.
And I have to say, Christy, by the way, that was a beautiful ceremony.
I thought it was beautiful.
I thought that it was an incredible remembrance.
I think that just as a country, as a country, we should all be able to come together to put partisanship aside and to say, These things happened in our country, and we can debate about whether or not they should have happened, but they did happen.
And these are things like 9-11, these are things like Pearl Harbor, so many other incidents and attacks, and World War II, World War I, all the great battles that throughout history where our heroes fought and lost their lives.
And yet it seems to me like the media is trying to politicize this, and first they were attacking President Trump for going at all, when they didn't seem interested at all or curious as to why nobody from the Biden administration was directly there.
President Biden wasn't there, he was on vacation.
Vice President Kamala Harris wasn't there.
You say that they were invited, and I predicted, by the way, that the media would spend all day Complaining about this, complaining about this, CNN, MSNBC, and then finally Dana Bash gets the first interview with Kamala Harris last night, and she wasn't even asked a single question about why she wasn't there on Monday, why they completely skipped it.
And you say that they've been invited, but here's this And we had heard that as well.
But here's the question that I have.
They're focusing on the story of this altercation, something about that they didn't want photos there.
So a staff member was trying to prevent photos from being there.
And, well, let's just put that to rest.
From your perspective, did you want photos taken there, which included President Trump, who was your invited guest?
Absolutely.
We have a lot of family that was able to attend, as we always do on the anniversary of our loved one's death.
They were happy, you know, to have a picture with the president and to receive the respect and the honor from him that we just haven't received from the current administration.
These were respectful pictures.
A lot of them were taken on our own personal phones.
You know, we didn't have a press corps or anything like that.
It was just a private, you know, moment with a former commander in chief and Somebody we respect very much and we were happy to share that moment with him.
I think that, you know, it may have upset some people and that they're just trying to make it into something that it just wasn't.
There was not an altercation.
I think that, you know, it has just been turned into something it wasn't.
And, you know, I said, you know, the other day on the show here, I said, you know, people were saying, well, this was political.
I said, where's political?
I mean, I'm not seeing, you know, bumper stickers and yard signs and all of those things that sure, yes, that would be political or, you know, wearing some political, even shirts or something that wasn't political at all.
This wasn't political.
This was an honored memorial event.
Now, obviously, you didn't sign up to be a member of a Gold Star family.
No one does.
But you have found yourself in that position now.
Not to say what it's, what has it been like, but just in general, from the very start, your interactions with the Biden administration, all the way back to this, the actual, by the way, incident that we all know about, him looking at his watch as the coffins him looking at his watch as the coffins were received.
I believe that was Dover Air Force Base in his home state of Delaware.
We What's been the level of communication and response from the Biden administration over the past three years?
Zero.
We've had zero communication, zero response, zero Um, you know, we've asked, please sit down and meet with us and explain to us how this was a success.
Because, you know, I'm, I don't understand everybody's perspective.
I only understand my own and we lost something we will never be able to replace.
But if they could explain to me how they can call this a success, I'm always open to listen, but we don't get a response.
No response whatsoever.
And it's mind-blowing to me.
I don't know why they would do that other than, you know, they are ashamed.
And they know that this was preventable, and they know that they're to blame.
For the folks who are involved, do you feel like Do you feel like if they don't have that level of respect for the fallen, do you feel like they are the same type of people that should be running our military?
That they should be the ones that are asking our men and women in uniform to go down range, potentially go and be involved in further conflicts like that?
Because, and I'll say this as just speaking as a veteran, that When you're asked to serve, you go.
You don't get a choice.
You go.
And if you're going to send someone into harm's way, you have to do so with the trust of your commander, with the trust of your government that you're doing the right thing and that you will be supported.
So I guess my question to you is not as a political question, but just as an American question.
Do you feel that level of trust is there?
Not right now.
It's not at all.
I truly believe that they look at our armed men and women in uniform as disposable numbers, and they've shown that over and over again.
I didn't believe that going into this.
Like you said, you don't ask to be a Gold Star family member.
It's the club that nobody wants to join, and we'd all give our membership back, but How you're treated once you're there is very telling to, you know, and, and again, we've just been completely ignored.
They alternate from ignoring us or they'll criticize us, like with this event at Arlington.
And it just is the height of disrespect.
I don't understand why they continue to do it.
When I saw the Pentagon put out a statement regarding this, did the Pentagon reach out to you, or as far as you know, did they reach out to any of the members of the group when they put out that statement?
Nope, not that I know of.
No, so they put out a statement without actually getting the information from the people who were involved.
And you mentioned before that when you put the memorial together, you guys had submitted everything.
Also, by the way, I read the story, my good friend Henry Rogers of The Daily Caller put out that it turns out that actually the Pentagon was giving you guys the runaround at first in terms of holding this event.
Absolutely.
They, uh, and you know, again, we tried it.
We, we are respectful.
We understand Arlington has limitations and we are happy to work within those.
Um, but it just came to a point where, you know, we had to, um, ask our congressmen to, to get involved, to help kind of make sure it could happen.
Uh, we were running into roadblocks that just, um, seemed, um, you know, placed there without a real reason.
So.
We were able, though, with our congressman's help, you know, to go ahead and get it done, and it was beautiful.
But I think that, you know, we got under somebody's skin there, and this is a result of that.
Well, and just on behalf of the show and the network, I would like to apologize that that even happened, that just to offer you our heartfelt support, that having to go through this and finding yourself and your family and Nicole's memory being caught up in this Presidential election and this game of political football because at the end of this the media is going to move on.
The Pentagon is going to move on.
They're going to be talking about the next thing and yet you guys are going to be the ones who are stuck with this.
This whole that never goes away, that'll never quite be filled.
But in speaking with that, if you could tell us a little about Nicole.
Tell us about, we've seen the photos, we know the service, we know her heroic efforts, we know all about that, but tell us about what she was like as a person.
She was a shining light in every single room she walked in.
You weren't in a room with Nicole and you didn't notice her.
She was an encouragement and a true believer of a positive mental attitude.
And that really was spoken when she posted that picture holding that Afghan baby.
You know, she was surrounded by the Taliban.
She hadn't showered.
They were low on food, low on water, low on supplies.
And she still posted, I love my job.
Um, we will miss her and our family is, you know, torn apart without her, but we also know that she would want us to carry on and to make sure that this doesn't happen again.
These were preventable deaths.
She could be here with us.
And the fact that she's not, can't be changed, but to prevent the next family from having to welcome home a flag draped coffin is something I'm going to fight to do until the day I die.
Christy, this story has been a touchstone for so many people and I think that Nicole's story specifically has just become an inspiration to so many people across the country and you being there to tell that story have given and I'm sure it doesn't feel like it on a day-to-day basis, but trust me, there are so many people out there that are touched by your story.
There are so many Gold Star parents who, for whatever reason, they don't get the opportunity to have a voice, to be out there in public, to share those stories, to share the emotions.
And also, by the way, it's a reminder, an important reminder, to those of us who engage in the political process on a regular basis, That these are real people.
There are real families that when we're talking about oh some dispute in some far-flung area of the world and talking about sending our sons and daughters into harm's way that there is a bill to be paid and that if we are ever going to do something like that again then we need to be darn sure that we are going to be willing
To give them the full support that is necessary and no inch less, not one step less than the full support.
Christy, I want to thank you so much for being here.
I want to thank you for sharing.
It's a tough story.
It's a tough story and emotional story.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And my family is going to be saying a prayer for you and your family tonight.
Thank you very much.
I appreciate it.
God bless you.
God bless to the entire family.
And please, if you're ever back up in D.C., we'd love to sit down with you because I want to teach my boys about the heroes of Abbey Gate.
Stay tuned, folks.
We'll be back.
Community Best Daily continues.
Where's Jack?
Where's Jack?
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys should be getting Pulitzer's.
All right, Jack Posobiec, we are back live, we're here, Human Events Daily, and folks, that last interview with Christie Shamblin, the mother-in-law of Sergeant Nicole Gee, one of the 13 honored dead at Abbey Gate, that was an emotional experience.
And anyone who's watching this, I want you to pay attention to that and watch that interview, send that to anyone, because this isn't about politics.
This isn't about left and right.
It's not about, oh, I'm going to score points or anything like that.
That's someone whose daughter-in-law is never going to come home, whose family is never going to be complete, and someone who's always going to have to live like that for the rest of her life because of what these people in Washington, D.C.
have done to her family.
It didn't have to happen.
It didn't have to happen, but it did.
And that's the situation that we're in.
And that's the same for every single family that's accompanied in any of this, from the 13 honor dead at Abbey Gate, to the families affected by the migrant violence, or any of that.
Never forget, never ever forget, that there are real people, that are real families, and all of this carnage Is being done.
This emotional and physical carnage that is being done to these people who don't deserve it.
These people, some of which who are the best of us.
The absolute best of us.
Who are willing to put themselves in harm's way.
Who are willing to go down range and put their lives on the line for others.
And the family members who back them up.
I don't know.
We have to do an ad read.
So we're going to do the ad read because we do have a partner.
All right, we're going to skip it.
So Evita Duffy is with us.
Evita Duffy.
We'll get to it.
We'll get to it.
Don't worry, guys.
We'll get to it.
Evita Duffy joins us now.
Evita, what can I say?
These people are disgusting.
These people who would... And they didn't even show up.
They didn't even show up to Arlington on Monday.
And then they have the nerve to turn around and send their allies and the media out to attack the situation.
How about you put out a statement that says, we're sorry for not going there.
And CNN doesn't even ask the question.
CNN doesn't even ask the question to Kamala Harris.
Oh, what are your policies going to be on day one?
Oh, what are you going to do?
And you're sitting there with like, you got family members asking, why didn't the president even put out five minutes of time just to come down the road and come see us?
Are It's right there in D.C.
It's not like it's far.
You can see it from the White House, practically.
I'm sorry.
What is your reaction to all this?
It feels, Jack, it feels like a lack of accountability.
I mean, and I think maybe the media enables it.
Right.
Because they never have to answer to any tough questions at all.
But they're suddenly faced with with real families.
Right.
Who, like you said, they are being impacted by the carnage of forever wars or open border crisis.
And they just don't care.
They just don't care because nobody ever holds them accountable.
There's a lack of responsibility in government, and an entitlement, I think, too, that we deserve to be in a position of power, and we're not going to answer to the people whose lives we actively are destroying with America-last policies.
It really feels like a spit in the face to every American.
Yeah, I mean, you go to these families and it's just a reminder.
It's even a reminder to me, you know, on a day-to-day basis where we sit there and we say, oh, you know, what's your take on it?
Because we live in like the hot take economy, right?
And it's like, so what's your hot take?
Oh, here's the new headline.
What's your hot take?
What's your hot take on this?
What's your hot take on that?
And you get wrapped up in the day-to-day work of doing that, coming up with something, having a response.
And it is true, it is true that, you know, and I'm certainly guilty of it, that, you know, there are times where it's like, hey, whatever happened with that story?
Hey, did you follow up on that?
Hey, what about a year later?
What about two years later?
Where do you go?
And it's, it's stuff like this that burns me up because I know that in the mainstream media, they don't care at all.
They don't even care a little bit.
They didn't even ask Kamala Harris one question about this.
One question.
Or Tim Walz, when they ask him about his military service.
By the way, Tim Walz, who lied about his military service, lied about having done the same type of combat service that Nicole G. did, and then runs around and says, oh, it was a grammatical error.
I'm sorry, it was just bad grammar.
And he blames his wife.
It's insane.
It's actually insane that this is our government and this is our regime now.
Jack, I was thinking as you were saying that about Karine Jean-Pierre, she put out a video today, how we're doing something about the drug crisis in America.
And again, this is lack of accountability.
Nobody's following up with questions about any of this.
We have an open border.
The silent killers in this country is people who are dying from overdoses every single day because we have an open border.
That is pouring drugs into middle America, into flyover country.
And again, you're right, the people in D.C.
don't care.
Our government officials don't care.
The Korean Jean Pierre will throw you a dog bone every once in a while.
Oh, yeah, we're doing something.
But nobody's securing the border.
People in this country are actually dying and suffering every day from the policies from people who seem to actually hate all of us.
Yeah, and what happens, and they wonder why suicide rate is going up like crazy, especially, by the way, for men.
You wonder why deaths of despair are way up for men.
And that's what they put.
They put so deaths of addiction, deaths of overdose, deaths of alcohol related deaths go into that.
And they say, well, why is this happening?
Why do 22 veterans commit suicide every day?
Why, you know, it's so strange.
Oh, by the way, here's Kamala Harris.
She's black and South Asian and she's a woman and you're gonna love her now.
It's like, wait, are you even gonna address any of the things that are going on in our country And then they'll tell you, they'll say, oh no, no, everything's great.
No, everything's fine.
Everything's, you know, totally wonderful.
Don't, don't you worry about it.
Whoa, are you spreading misinformation?
Are you asking questions?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
This is vibes.
But, but, you know, she's brat and she's got Megan Thee Stallion twerking.
So, you know, I guess that's, I guess that's our country now, Avita.
What, what happened?
They really do.
They force a candidate on us, right?
Nobody voted for Kamala Harris.
Even her own party, they didn't get to choose her.
She was forced on us.
And you're so right about the suicide numbers, Jack.
You know, it's 80% of men make up suicides in this country.
80%.
There is a crisis going on, a spiritual and emotional crisis.
And I think for young men specifically, they've really lost their place.
In the country, in a country that says their masculinity is toxic, in a place that doesn't value them.
You know, there are jobs in this country that only men will do, right?
I mean, I'm thinking underwater welding.
I'm talking about construction.
I'm talking about concrete.
I'm talking about, you know, the guys that fell trees.
That can cause huge problems.
There are things in jobs and people who are completely undervalued, who are never talked about, who are never acknowledged.
And we've lost our way.
We've lost not only respect, for the people who built this country, who keep it running.
But we've also, I think, lost the order from just, from even the most, at the most basic level, right, the family.
We respect men, and then now suddenly men are just bumbling idiots.
And I think that's why they love Tim Walsh so much, right?
Tim Walsh is the ideal man.
Meanwhile, this guy let a city burn to the ground in Minnesota, had BLM rioting spread across the country, lying about his military record.
He is truly a laughingstock and an idiot.
There's no reason for men to look up to him, but the left makes us look at him as some sort of ideal.
Or Doug Emhoff, the guy who slept with his children's nanny.
He's supposed to be the ideal man?
It's demoralizing and it's disrespectful and it's turning society on its head.

So let me do the ad read, and then when we come back, I want to get into this with you, Evita, because you're touching on something very important.

Evita Duffy, why does it seem like little boys out in this country today get nothing?
It's, you know, support girls in STEM, support girls in science, support girls in all of this.
And, okay, but when you're a boy, what do you get?
You get the role models of, like, Tim Waltz, who plays this, like, bumbling sidekick in every sitcom.
What's going on here?
Yeah, well, and Jack, you know, especially if you're a white man, you don't really get anything, right?
In fact, you're actually discriminated against actively.
Try to get ahead, you want to get a scholarship, you want to get into college, you want to get a job.
Everything is set up against you.
It's if they want you to fail.
And then, meanwhile, the culture is demonizing you, right?
They're calling your masculinity toxic.
And then you're right.
You have Tim Walz, the bumbling idiot, who supposedly is supposed to be the ideal man.
And you brought up in the break, which is a great point, that we have it in the culture perverse, right?
You have all these men who are sitcom dads, and they're not real men, right?
They're just stand-in idiots for what a man should be in a woman's world.
And it's demoralizing for men.
and they're giving up and they're yeah go ahead it's it's like a minstrel show it's like a minstrel show in in whiteface of tim waltz being this what do you do i don't put spices on my tacos and it's like actually not true by the way because he was in like a taco contest a couple years ago because he even lies about that and then kamala harris is there they're putting on a sitcom they're putting on a sitcom but it is a sitcom with specific demoralizing operations that are being pushed that
These narratives, which do exist, by the way, they certainly do exist, but no, it's not systemic racism.
It's not systemic white supremacy.
No, it's just systemic white hate over and over and over and systemic misandry, the hatred of men.
And the Midwest label really gets me upset, Jack, because, you know, I'm from the Midwest.
I'm a Wisconsinite myself.
I know men from the Midwest.
Midwesterners are some of the most manly men in America.
Southern boys, no.
East Coast boys, no.
West Coast boys, definitely not.
Midwest men are the men of this country, and Tim Walz is not it.
And they're trying to brand this guy as the symbol of Midwestern values.
And again, like I said, burned Minneapolis to the ground, BLM rioting, spread across the country, lying about his military career.
This is not a Midwestern man.
This is not an ideal for any men anywhere.
And they're looking at him, and they just -- again, they just feel like, what do I have to look up to?
What do I even have to work for in a country that seems to literally hate me?
And again, 80 percent of suicides in this country, men, depression, they're not going They're not realizing who they are as men because our culture is putting them down.
Put down again and again.
And by the way, you know, I will, I will say, I get what you're saying about East Coast boys, but not all of us, not all of us.
Every once in a while, every once in a while, you find one of those old school East Coast boys, just saying, just saying some of us are still out there, but no, by and large, you know, I can look at the people who, especially the guys that I went to, you know, high school, more college than high school that, you know, the guys that I went to college with in Philly, that you look around and you're just like, what, what happened to you?
You guys are so demoralized.
And, you know, you can talk about the financial crisis and you can talk about all these things and all these operations that have been run and clearly been run and the financial trauma that's been done.
And all of that is true, right?
All of that is true.
But you can also do something that's called man up and actually overcome those things and fight harder to accomplish your goals and to get to where you want in life rather than sitting in the corner in the fetal position and like sucking your thumb.
And that's what I just see a lot of those guys do.
And they totally check out and they'll say, oh, we're going to do Tom Hanksgiving rather than actually have like families and successful careers and all the rest of it.
You know, it's a huge problem that's going on.
And when I talk about the state of masculinity in America today, it's in collapse.
It's in total collapse.
And not to say that I agree with the feminists, but clearly, clearly this is not a one-sided problem.
Right.
And Jack, you know, women don't want unmasculine men.
I mean, that's the key here, too, is we think that we want the men who are, you know, the ideal male feminist type, but nobody wants to be married to a Doug Emhoff.
No one.
I'm sorry.
He's the type of man that you want to run from.
And there was actually an interview with the DNC that went viral of this one girl saying, I THINK IT'S A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT ARE GOING TO BE ABLE TO DO.
IF YOU'RE A YOUNG WOMAN IN D.C., THE REPUBLICAN GUYS ARE THE HOTTER ONES.
THE GUYS ARE MORE ATTRACTED TO BUT THEY'RE EVIL.
THEY'VE BEEN BRAINWASHED TO SAY THAT, TO THINK THAT RIGHT WING MEN ARE EVIL BUT THEY'RE Women want manly men.
I mean, it makes perfect sense.
And the male feminist types really destroy human relationships.
They destroy marriages.
They're not the type of guy that you want to procreate with.
And I think that's why you're seeing men today to return to tradition.
There is a movement.
And the left, again, they try to demonize it.
They say, oh, these new right guys, they're so bad.
They're so, you know, anti-woman.
And the reality is that they are embracing tradition because they see the way that the ideal man is destroying them and destroying women and destroying society and family.
And you're seeing, this is why I love the King Baldwin trend on TikTok.
It's he's a 12th century crusader who's gone viral.
Is that really what you're doing right now?
on the internet because he was 16 years old.
I am.
He won a major military battle.
He did it while he was dying from leprosy.
His body was literally rotting.
He fought a battle.
He won.
He defended the kingdom of Jerusalem.
Like these are ideal men who young guys on the internet are embracing.
The left thinks it's terrible.
And I think it's awesome.
- Avita, are you coming on the show and King Baldwin posting?
Is that really what you're doing right now? - I am.
I love him so much.
I'm reposting him on Instagram all the time. - I'm telling you, folks, better to live one day a lion than an entire life as a sheep, and that was King Baldwin.
By the way, go watch Kingdom of Heaven if you don't know what Evita and I are talking about.
King Baldwin will not be denied.
