Ladies and gentlemen, one of the best ways that you can support us here at Human Events and the work that we do is subscribing to us on our Rumble channel.
Make sure you're subscribed, you hit the notifications so you'll never miss a clip, you'll never miss a new live episode, and we're putting them out every single day of the week.
This is what happens when the fourth turning meets fifth generation warfare.
A commentator, international social media sensation, and former Navy intelligence veteran.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin ordered a guided missile submarine to the Middle East and asked a carrier strike group to get there as quickly as possible.
Israel is bracing for a potential attack by Iran, an attack some anticipate could come within days.
Russia is evacuating parts of its border region with Ukraine as Ukrainian forces continue operations inside Russian territory.
The idea of not just raising tax rates, but raising tax rates and applying taxes on unrealized income, that is a catastrophe of epic proportion.
You will owe taxes with cash you literally do not have in your pocket to pay those taxes.
That is a formula for a second Great Depression.
And it is something that's been in the bloodstream of democratic policy for a long time.
So he knew he was going to Iraq.
He decided to quit, to retire, whatever word you want to use.
Retire.
Because, whatever, because he wanted to run for Congress.
He lied about that.
He said that when he decided to retire, he did not know that he was going to Iraq.
That is another untruth, as even his senior military officer said.
So again, I'm not criticizing the service.
I'm criticizing the dishonesty.
So what's interesting is that young voters and also ended up black voters didn't change all that much between where Biden was in Pennsylvania in July and where Harris is now.
The Trump campaign says it was hacked.
Politico first reported receiving internal campaign research documents from an anonymous sender.
The Trump campaign suggesting Iran may be behind the hack.
Are you worried at all about the size of Harris's crowds?
Oh, give me a break.
Listen, I had 107,000 people in New Jersey.
You didn't report it.
I'm so glad you asked.
What did you have yesterday?
2,000 people?
If I ever had 2,000 people, you'd say my campaign is finished.
It's so dishonest, the press.
Mika, I mean, look at the numbers.
I mean, the Philadelphia event, I remember when we first, I mean, you saw it was so huge.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events Daily.
Today is August 12, 2024, Anno Domini.
We're coming to you live from an undisclosed location in, let's just say, New England.
Well, folks, the return of the king, Donald J. Trump, returning to Twitter, now called For the first time since now.
It's not the first time since January 6th because we know that President Trump posted his mugshot just last year on there.
And tonight he's going to be participating in his very first live stream on X. Now this is interesting because for those of you who, like me, may remember when President Trump was using Twitter on the regular.
He never did any live streams on Twitter.
This was something that myself and so many people said, you got to get back in the day we used to call it Periscope.
And I said, what if President Trump started using Periscope?
What if he started live streaming?
What if he just popped up on there and started doing it?
Elon did it like once and completely stopped after that.
This is the next level.
So Spaces are nice because they're audio only, but the live stream, the Twitter live stream where you get to go, you can take questions, you can bring people in.
Yeah, I know Spaces has this video feature on it, but it just it's not quite getting there yet.
It's not quite getting there yet.
You need to be on top of this.
But I think when we see him coming back, when you see him getting in there, And by the way, this video that he's going to be doing, not a video rather, this space he's going to be doing later, apparently the European Commission is upset about this.
So the European Commission has just written a letter to Elon Musk calling for him to censor President Trump tonight.
There, Mr. Musk, I'm writing to you in the context of recent events in the United Kingdom in relation to the planned broadcast on your platform of a live conversation between the U.S.
presidential candidate and yourself.
Which will also be accessible to users in the EU.
We are currently doing the international stress test of the program.
In this context, I am compelled to remind you of the due diligence obligation set out in the Digital Services Act, as outlined in my previous letter.
As the individual entity ultimately controlling a platform with over 300 million users for a fight, of which one third in the EU That has been designated a very large online platform.
You have the legal obligation to ensure access compliance with the EU law, and in particular, the DSA in the EU.
You will comply!
You will comply!
Look, folks, no.
All right?
No.
And by the way, please try to arrest Elon Musk over this.
Please try.
Look, we all know the backdoor censorship is going to come in.
The FBI censorship is going to come in later.
We've got a great writer from The Federalist coming up to talk about that.
Keep your eyes on the prize.
We are 85 days away from victory.
We are going to win.
Post through the ops.
Post through the psy-opping.
And I don't want to see any blackpilling out there, alright?
You got any blackpillers in your life?
You gotta push them to the curb.
Take them out like the trash.
Take them out and wait for the trash truck to come pick up the blackpillers and off you go.
You can sort them, alright?
You can sort them into recyclables.
You can sort them into plastics and paper.
Paper and plastics.
The blackpillers, take them out like the trash.
All right, Jack Posobiec back live, Human Events Daily.
Folks, how do you survive a communist apocalypse?
Well, you watch Human Events Daily every day.
Check.
You follow Poso on X. Check.
You order Unhumans on Amazon.
Check.
There's one thing, though, that you're forgetting, and it could make the biggest difference in your future and your family's financial future, and that's checking out today's gold sponsor, Allegiance Gold.
Since 2020, Bidenomics has obliterated the American economy.
Kamala Harris will do even worse.
Imagine what four years of socialist policy will do to interest rates, debt and labor disputes.
You need to take you need something stable so that you can take a breath and know that the money you earned and the retirement you work for is safe.
You have to proactively protect your assets so that when the supply chains get rocked and when Biden or Kamala decide to print a few more trillion dollar bills, it won't impact your family's bottom line.
And the only way to do that is with the one true beacon of stability that so many patriots use to preserve their wealth.
And that, my friends, is gold.
Over the last five years, it's almost doubled in value.
And with the way things are looking, the sky is the limit.
Allegiance Gold has done things the right way.
From the beginning, so it's no coincidence they've earned the highest trust rating in the precious metals industry.
Five stars with TrustLink and an A-plus with the Better Business Bureau.
Allegiance Gold can help protect your IRA or 401k with physical gold and silver, or can have it delivered securely to your doorstep.
Get up to $5,000 in free silver on a qualifying investment when you go to protectwithposo.com or call 844-577-POSO.
All right, we have got Vish Bhara, the Executive Secretary of the New York Young Republican Club, joining us now.
Vish, I've got to tell you, man, what did you think when you woke up?
Or that being said, 3 a.m.
when the first you got up, you were probably still awake, you were probably still out, as a matter of fact.
Probably hitting up the bodegas around 3 a.m.
last night when you saw that notification come in from President Trump on X. Listen, my first thought was stringer bell, you know.
Listen, I want you to put the word out there that we're back up, you know what I mean?
Donald Trump's going to be out there, our mean lord and chief.
Not only are we going to take back the narrative on X soon enough with Donald Trump's return, but when I woke up this morning, I felt that joy.
Joy that Kamala Harris and all these Democrats talk about.
I actually felt that, and I feel that a lot of people are going to feel that joy now with Trump's return to X.
And that's right.
That's what they're talking about with Kamala Harris.
That's what they're talking about.
They're saying, oh, Kamala Harris.
So she's got that.
She's the one with the joy.
She's the one with all the, you know, joy this and joy that with the vibes.
But here's what the real truth is, folks.
She's from now.
And I want to be clear about this, by the way.
And it's interesting you brought that up because they're talking about the vibes election, how she's got positive vibes, Trump's running on negative vibes.
And I I think.
All right.
I think that Trump's campaign and Trump himself and everybody out there, we need to take this seriously because people do kind of go with vibes these days.
It's sort of something that's out there.
And at the end of the day, yes, we know what the situation is.
We know the situation is grim in this country.
Two thirds of Americans believe that we are in a situation where there's a country's on the wrong track.
That doesn't mean that you can just complain.
You have to offer a competing alternate vision and that's where President Trump leaning in on patriotism, that's where President Trump leaning in on strength, where President Trump leaning in on leadership comes in, because he has the ability now to articulate how good the country was under his leadership and how good things are going to be again when we have four more years of peace and prosperity, and who knows, maybe even 12 more years
of peace and prosperity if jd vance and we saw jd the man just go into town in the ring yesterday morning with the the fake news lying uh snakes that he did that he was able to rope a dope them for hours on end visborough what what is your sentence the vibes of the election well i think right now the vibes were shaken up but they were shaken up in organically
So I think that right now we need to get back into our mode of happy warriors and winning, winning, winning, winning at all costs.
Do not listen to the Black Pillars.
The Black Pillars are there as nothing more than a demoralization campaign.
The Black Pillars are essentially doing the Left's dirty work for them.
The Left is trying to demoralize us.
And they're trying to get into our heads, but the way they do that is they get into these Black Pillars heads.
And the Black Pillars are the ones that distribute the vibes.
And we need to remember that our vibes are on our side.
And the black pill is contagious, as we all know.
So, a lot of people out there in my audience, and I get messages on this all the time, and it's not just older people.
I get messages from people my age, younger, etc.
They say, what's all these pills you guys are talking about?
Black pill, red pill, white pill, blue pill.
What are all these pills?
Alright, alright.
We'll do the quick, like, less than two minute explainer.
Goes back to The Matrix.
We all remember that movie, The Matrix, 1999, 25 years ago.
Yeah, I know.
I was old enough to see it in theaters.
Um, that Morpheus gives Neo the choice, the black, the blue pill or the red pill.
And that means take the blue pill, you stay in the false reality.
You take the red pill and you realize that your reality is manufactured and you can start to begin the journey to understand the true reality.
So that's kind of where the idea of pills come from.
But then the, the idea of black pill and white pill, these are a little bit more emotionally driven because the black pill means Essentially, that you have chosen to pill yourself with despair, to fill yourself with despair, to be nihilistic, to say, oh, woe is me.
Your constant doomer is the same idea that, oh, you know, it's despair, it's anger, resentment, and ultimately a defeatist attitude.
So it rejects self-improvement, rejects positive change, rejects actually doing something to build a positive community.
And so the idea of the white pill, is again, emotionally based, that's hope.
That's saying we can do something for the future.
There is still an ability.
So Vish, it sounds like you're a little bit more on the white pill side, am I right? - I'm always on the white pill side, baby.
I mean, look, Donald Trump is back on X. I think it suffices to say that we are so back, right?
Like, we need to embrace that actually everything's really on our side if we take a moment and just think about, you know, how far we've come as a movement.
In 2016, having Silicon Valley people talking about Endorsing Trump and getting behind Trump, that was unheard of back then.
In 2020, you were being cancelled or gulag'd for such a thing.
And in 2024, it's a vibe.
It's a trend.
That's what's up, right?
We've never been in a better position as a movement.
We should be overdosing on white pills right now with how many things are going on our side.
The problem right now that I see is that we are losing focus.
as a movement.
Everybody's comfortable.
Everybody's complacent.
Everybody thinks that Donald Trump winning is a foregone conclusion.
And there are people now measuring the drapes in the White House, people who are trying to turn the guns inward so that they can get themselves a place on the right This is all a way to demoralize our people, our movement, and our victory.
And the next guy, this is all a distraction.
This is all a way to demoralize our people, our movement and our victory.
We need to get back on track and focus, focus, focus, focus.
Maniacal focus.
The border.
Inflation.
Stolen valor.
Fake Kamala.
Kama-blah.
Whatever you want to call her.
Kama-kama-chameleon.
We need to focus on what matters, and that is the next 84 days and a wake-up to victory on November 5th.
This is so important that you just talked about.
The fact that, look at where we were in 2020 and 20, and people say, where's the 2016 energy?
In 2016, we didn't have the polls on our side ever.
In 2016, we didn't have the metrics on our side, the betting markets, everybody's going on, oh, I'm on predicted, oh, I'm on polly market, oh, Trump's going up, oh, Trump's going down, we've lost everything.
Nobody was doing any of that stuff.
Robert Barnes, yes, had his one long shot amazing miracle play, but that is not, but the reason he was able to do that was because everyone in the betting markets was against Trump.
We never had any of these things on our side.
You mentioned social media, think about it.
It's total 180 from Jack Dorsey and really the leftists that were operating under him, censoring everybody back in those days, shutting everybody down, throttling everybody, Ricky got arrested and thrown in jail, by the way, for memes in 2016.
Now, you got the head of X himself, the owner, is sitting down with the man and doing a branded livestream when in 2016, Twitter was pushing Black Lives Matter everywhere, going back to 2015, 2014, when that really got started, and even 2013, honestly.
The idea, that is why they're so mad at Elon.
That's why the EU is trying to shut him down, shut this livestream down, because he took Twitter, which had been a tool for the left.
And what is Elon doing?
And by the way, I'm sure that if Tim Walz or Kamala Harris were interested, that he'd be happy to sit down with them and offer them the same exact invitation to go on spaces with him.
It's as simple as that, folks.
questions because why?
It's about freedom of speech now.
It's not about being a platform for one side or the other.
And that's why they're terrified because we don't need the leg up.
We don't need the help.
We don't need the censorship like they do.
That's what they need because we got memes on our side.
We got Trump's on our side.
We got, and we've got the truth on our side.
It's as simple as that folks.
Quick break, right back.

Vish, I loved what you were saying just there about complacency.
That people are getting too comfortable.
People are sitting around.
They're getting complacent.
They're saying, oh, Trump's got this in the bag.
Things are fine.
Measuring the drapes for the Oval Office again.
Things are going to be good.
There's this hierarchy, the backstabbing, people trying to get in, and the pecking order.
This is a human thing, by the way.
This is what happens when movements develop, when people get a taste of power, when suddenly a movement goes from something that was impossible Right back in, say, 2022, when nobody was on board except folks like you, folks like me.
Now, all of a sudden, 2023 rolls around, and now here we are, 2024, and suddenly, Donald Trump, he is within striking distance of winning back the White House again in 85 days.
But suddenly, people are looking around saying, oh, who's gonna get this position?
Who's gonna get that position?
And that's when the backstabbing starts, that's when the infighting starts.
This is a historic process.
This is something that's endemic in human nature.
It's happened for every movement, even pre-democratic societies, all this stuff.
But Vish, walk us through the current moment.
Who rises to the top in these situations?
Who should you trust?
And who should you put your faith in?
Right now you should put your faith in those who have always performed, right?
That's the idea.
Those who have always showed up.
Those that you can have faith in, who have spoken to you through their actions, right?
And so you gotta rely, you gotta look to those day ones.
Who were there when you were down is who you look for when you're up.
And so these folks, Jack Posobiec, a lot of folks like Steve Bannon, they've taken him away from us and put him in jail.
But folks like Steve and listening to the War Room, Raheem, all of your OGs that have been here the whole time and have made sure that Donald Trump's interests and MAGA's interests were always priority, those are the people that you should be looking to right now.
Because there's too many new people who, because they're part of this winning effort, they don't understand all the losses that we had to take to get here.
And so those new people are the ones who are shaken up the most, who are shaken by the vibes the most, the people who are either new or pissed, people who feel scorned.
And so out of these two, out of these two, out of these two, Out of these two, when you have new people who don't know exactly where we're all coming from, and when you have sworn people who don't care where we're coming from, they only care about what they want.
In those situations, now more than ever, you have to look to your day ones, who have been there with you, and those are the ones you need to look to for strategy.
In this situation right now, Listen to your day ones, and I guarantee you, folks, you won't be led astray.
Donald Trump was with us since day one.
We need to be with him until the very end.
In the crypto community, they talk about FUD.
They talk about FUD, F-U-D, fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
So if anyone's out there spreading FUD, if they're out there saying, oh, well, this isn't going to work.
And by the way, I'm not talking about constructive criticisms or ideas to help, right?
Everyone's got good ideas.
Everyone's got an idea to help.
Other people might have ways.
Like, for example, a lot of people said, hey, Trump should get back on Twitter.
I'll even admit that when I was down and spent the day at Mar-a-Lago last week, that was something that I said.
I said, Trump, he's got the right message.
He's got the right message, he's got the right message.
He's got the right record for the moment.
But there's a messaging platform that he has access to that is one of the most, probably the most powerful messaging platform in the world, and he's sitting on it.
And this is the one where we got to see it come back.
So the fact that he is now utilizing this, we're within that 90 day window.
We're within the 90 day window of the election.
I know he's still posting heat over on Truth.
I want to see that heat back on Twitter.
I want to see that heat back on X. I'm waiting for that first comma-blah tweet.
I'm just waiting for it.
Folks, we've discovered there is actually a missing bee at the end of a name.
It's been there all along.
My top scientist, highly respected.
They've discovered the bee that was there all along, blah, blah.
That was her name.
And like it's just whatever it is.
Right.
He's just he's just trash talking.
This is basic New Yorker.
And so for people to understand that that's what they want, that's how you get the man back.
It's not going to be sitting there and just going, well, the economy is good.
By the way, where's the picture?
You know, I'd love to see the way that he posted the picture of his mugshot when he had that.
I'd love to see him post the fight picture just by itself, no captions, nothing else, just on its own, right there up on X, as sort of a rallying cry.
Folks, ladies and gentlemen, the beacons are lit.
It's time to go to work.
It's time to get on the line.
It's time to build the Phalanx again.
Let's go.
you know, first row, mount up.
Second row, mount up.
Let's go.
Let's go.
And because we are walking into the fight once again.
Vish, bro.
Vish, what do you think he should be doing on Twitter?
What do you think you'd like to see there?
Or just in general, what else would you like to see him doing?
Well, you know what?
I want to make sure that, I mean, I would love to see Trump on Twitter.
I just want to see him post memes.
I want to see him post, like, real, like, boomer memes, right?
Like, just classic.
Just get under their skin.
Because the left really, really hates that Donald Trump being back on Twitter is even still a prospect.
I guarantee you they don't want to see him on Twitter.
And so I just want to see him Be almost whimsical a little bit.
Just kind of post you.
That's what we always loved about Donald Trump anyway, is his authenticity.
So just be him and post.
What I want to say about Trump in general though, he's got to go after Kamala for stealing his policies.
I mean, you know, Tim Walz, Stolen Valor, Kamala.
I mean, what else do you expect from a party and a ticket and an administration that stole an election, right?
And not only that, she's lying about it.
She was the tie-breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act that approved $80 billion in funding for the IRS, additional funding that approved 87,000 IRS agents.
That was also Kamala, right?
It's not just the tips of waiters and waitresses that Kamala and Walls are going to come after.
They're going to come after the tips of all the OnlyFans girls that you see on the Whatever podcast too.
So y'all ladies need to get your stuff together because Kamala's coming for your pockets too.
Everybody, there is no way this administration is going to give up revenue and give up taxes.
Donald Trump needs to hit this hard and make sure everyone understands That's exactly right.
I think there's a little connection hiccup there, but the idea, folks, is that you've got to make these people own exactly who they are.
Make them own the fact that Tim Walz has committed stolen valor, and JD Vance did a fantastic job of that.
Then also make Kamala Harris own the fact that she's the one who wants taxes on unearned income, unrealized gains.
What does that mean?
Well, when your stocks go up, that's unrealized gains because you haven't sold them yet.
But then, of course, if the stocks go down, you still own the taxes anyway.
Plus, you just lost all that money.
These are the most radical economic policies that we've ever heard espoused from a presidential candidate for office in the United States, ever!
Ever!
No one has ever said anything that crazy.
Bill Clinton didn't run around talking about wealth confiscation.
That's what she's talking about.
Make them own it.
One of the other things, just what I was thinking about for Trump on Twitter is what would be great to see is have Trump actually at one of his rallies.
I think he's doing one at Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania later this week.
Have him go up there and talk to the crowd and make a tweet in real time.
say who we should make a tweet about, and then he can get whoever gets the biggest, throw out multiple choice, and whoever gets the biggest applause line, that's almost like Mad Libs, right?
It's Mad Libs, we'll call it Trump Mad Libs, because Trump is making the Libs mad.
So in Trump Mad Libs, he puts out, "All right, this is what our tweet's gonna be about.
This is who it's going to target.
This is what it's going to go after.
And then you just work your way through the tweet.
And at the very end, he posts it and then you put it up on the big screens up at the rally and everybody gets to see it.
I think it'd be a great moment.
I think it would go viral, the tweet itself, but then also the fact that you got to see the crafting of the tweet by Trump and the people themselves.
And so this idea is you've got to do it now.
The other thing, and I will say this is something that unfortunately that the assassin's bullet robbed us of, is the idea of having Trump with the people.
What were some of the most powerful images you saw of Donald Trump in this entire election?
Well, it was when his trial was going on, he was forced to be in New York, and so he was running around, and Vish was just talking about this a minute ago.
Going to those bodegas, going to see the construction workers, going to attend the funeral of the police officer who lost his life out there on Long Island, being with the officers of the NYPD, which of course is Trump's hometown.
So being and interacting with the people and events like that, I don't know how possible that is now, given the security posture and the security situation around the president.
But that being said, that being said, you know how you get around that?
Town halls.
Go to town halls, take random questions, bring in people who are Democrats, bring in people who are liberals, bring in people who are uncommitted, and have them just answering basic questions of President Trump.
Him in one of those settings, having people walk up and ask random questions.
Putting the reps in.
Invite Kamala.
If she doesn't want to come, fine.
She won't come.
Do the town halls.
This is something nationwide, but of course, swing state after swing state, it's going to be incredible.
Stay tuned.
Right back here.
Quick break.

All right, folks, we know Kamala Harris is the joy.
Kamala and Tim Waltz are the joy.
You will feel the joy.
You will be the joy.
The joy will consume you.
The joy is all.
You will worship the joy.
It's such a mess.
It's ridiculous.
And now President Trump's going on there on X with Elon Musk tonight.
But of course, the EU is trying to censor him and saying they have this new Digital Services Act.
It's completely ridiculous.
Our next guest, by the way, has also been writing about efforts to suppress not just Donald But also social media in general.
This is also what we're seeing out of the EU.
Her name is Brianna Lyman, and she's written an incredible piece in The Federalist.
Brianna, how are you?
I'm good.
Thanks for having me.
Well, so did it—I suppose that now we're looking about 10 days ago, you wrote this piece in The Federalist, and now here comes the EU.
So you wrote about the FBI, quote-unquote, briefing about potential threats.
on the company's platforms to X and other social media like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, et cetera.
And now all of a sudden the EU is coming on and sounds awful similar.
What's going on? - Yeah, this is a 2020 book, but they've now kind of redoubled their efforts.
And so, you know, back in 2020, Elon Musk did not own Twitter, but, you know, liberals and left-wing activists did own social media companies.
And we know how that went over when the FBI essentially went to these companies and said, There might be a dump of mis- or disinformation, i.e.
the Hunter Biden laptop story.
They throttled that story.
They throttled the reach across all platforms.
It's why the New York Post and Trump officials were locked out of their Twitter accounts.
You fast forward to today, and Elon Musk now owns Twitter and has made it, you know, the de facto public square for free speech.
And you have outside influence actors like the EU threatening Elon Musk for exercising his American right to free speech because they want to influence American elections.
So the fact that you bring that up is so important.
I've only ever had the opportunity and was on Spaces to ask Elon Musk a question one time and probably something I could do more of, but I haven't really, uh, hasn't been something we've been focused on, but I was on this sort of like super space with him and Vivek was there and Alex Jones popped on and like Andrew Tate and it was this whole just, just massive thing.
Um, and then Elon's there.
And we're all sort of going around asking questions, Alex, and it came around to me and I said, look, you know, Mr. Musk, the one question that I have for you, that you've done a great, this is when they just exposed the Twitter files, which really got into everything that had been done in 2020 regarding the FBI collusion with Twitter to censor, and Yul Roth is all up in this, the FBI and the Hunter Biden laptop.
I said, that's incredible work that you've done in releasing these files, but We have an election that's also coming up this year.
This is a couple of months ago now.
And so my question was, what happens if the FBI comes around again and says the same thing, and they want you to censor something that you believe is public, is legal information, right?
So not like doxing or something like that, or I don't know, like revenge porn, those types of things, that would you censor it?
Basically, over the space, just said very clearly, I would take them to court.
And I said, okay, what if the jury rules against you?
What if you lose in court and the FBI says you still have to censor that information?
And Elon said, then I'd be willing to go to jail.
I said, okay, that's a pretty good standard.
If that's what it actually comes to you.
And of course, it's an interview, you know, that once your interviewee gives you a question like, or gives you a response like that, you know, it's probably the end of the questions.
He's not going to go any further than that.
But that being said, do you see anything on the horizon that would go down these lines?
Do you think the FBI, the national security agencies are perhaps laying the groundwork for more of this censorship, maybe not on X, but on some of the other platforms?
Well, I think the Supreme Court did the groundwork in their Murphy v. Missouri decision.
I mean, that would just essentially obliterated the First Amendment, all because Amy Coney Barrett decided that the states lacked standing.
Now, going back to the general idea here, though, is that this is all revolving around election time, right?
Democrats have a covert operation to censor any kind of information about elections, whether you're questioning the process of elections, the administration, and the outcome of elections, which you have every right to do in America, considering our government runs our elections and yet has meddled in foreign elections for years, right?
And Democrats have tried to make talking about things like election integrity, which includes in some cases questioning election outcomes, as a third rail topic.
And they're now trying to say, okay, well, how can we censor all this information and this election information?
And because they can't directly do it yet, They are going to social media companies and asking them to do their dirty work.
It's why, you know, Mark Zuckerberg, he said, look, the reason we throttled the story is because the FBI said there's going to be a dump of misinformation.
And he took that in conjunction with the Hunter Biden laptop story and said, okay, I'm going to put two and two together, censor this.
This must be that, you know, disinformation I was warned about.
And they're trying to sow the seeds of doubt now.
They're trying to say, look, there's going to be foreign propaganda.
There's going to be these foreign malign information operations.
And we know, by the way.
much detail about that because they don't know what details they have to give these companies because it all depends on what will advance their political goals closer to November.
And we know, by the way, and by the way, it sounds like, you know, it sounds like this is something that would be out of a Hollywood thriller or some kind of, you know, fictional movie, but we don't need to theorize as to whether or not the national security agencies would do but we don't need to theorize as to whether or not the national security agencies would do such a thing because they already did in not
We also saw this involvement as well when it came not just to social media but also to the dossier, the Steele dossier, all of the information that was spread out in terms of that.
All the stuff that was put there, this goes out all over Twitter.
So we know that these agencies and the intelligence agencies, obviously indelibly linked to that, have always seemed to play an interesting role in our elections that they haven't done in the past.
Or, well, I suppose, I suppose that's another conversation.
But the idea, of course, here is what so what can people do?
What can people do to actually fight back and respond to something like this when they see these types of government intrusions coming in?
I think back to a quote James Madison said, I think it was 1791, but don't quote me.
He said, public opinion sets bounds to every government.
Well, what happens though when public opinion is misinformed, right?
When public opinion is created by a monopoly voice, the government wants to be that monopoly voice.
They want to be the purveyor of all information.
They tell you what's truth and you can't question it.
And so in order for people to set bounds to their government, they have to make sure that they have, I think, both sides of the aisle when they're reading something.
That includes, you have to go to independent journalists.
Twitter is a great space for that now.
You have to read conservative media.
You can even read liberal media.
It's important to have a well-rounded view of what's going on on both sides.
But they can't just go to one news source.
They can't trust what the government says.
They should always be skeptical of the government.
And I think, unfortunately, Americans have lost that innate skepticism that we were born and bred with, that our founders purposely instilled in our documents and in the creation of this country.
So for the next three months, people should be getting their news from all sources and then coming to their own conclusions.
There you go.
Get it from all sources.
By the way, this is something that happens because of the information siloing that goes on in people's different ecosystems.
So, for example, this whole thing on no tax on tips.
So Kamala Harris says this at the Las Vegas rally that she's at.
And I'm actually hearing that she ad libbed that line that wasn't prepared in her remarks.
It wasn't a campaign thing because they know that obviously it was something that Trump's been running around saying.
And, of course, he started saying it in Las Vegas as well.
But here's what's interesting.
You notice everyone in the crowd just claps.
There's no awkwardness.
There's no issue.
And everybody acts as if it's the first time you've heard it.
Why?
Because it is the first time they've heard it, because they exist in an information silo and in this echo chamber where they're only consuming left-wing sources.
And those left-wing sources haven't reported on the fact that Donald Trump has been pushing this for at least a month or more at this point.
Why?
Because that only exists in his information silo.
This is a huge issue, but it is something That is going on only here in the United States right now.
You got to understand it.
Right back.
I hear about the boring people at your office.
I'm trying to listen to the new human events with Jack Posobiec.
All right, Jack Posobiec back live, Human Events Daily, 1776 at humanevents.com, 1776 at Human Events.
President Trump gearing up for a massive live stream on X tonight with Elon Musk.
Brianna Lyman is our guest.
Brianna, quick question for you.
So let's let's talk Gen Z a little bit here.
That Gen Z consumption of social media, long form podcasts like this.
So I understand the X Space will be out there.
I'm sure people will be re uploading it as a long form podcast.
Do you find that that's what's what really attracts Gen Z or is it more I gotta be honest, I have to go with short form.
I think my generation is unfortunately obsessed with things like TikTok.
And our attention span because of our consumption of social media for the past, you know, 10 so years, we are kind of, you know, bred to want quick information given to us fast, move on to the next thing.
And so this will be a great live stream tonight.
And I do hope that Trump's team No, I think you're right about that.
a hundred different parts in 30 second increments and post them to all social media platforms to get both sides.
People who like long form, people who like short form.
No, I think you're right about that.
And that's something where it actually just occurred to me as I was going to ask you the question because, you know, I know it's it's the clip economy that everybody lives in.
So the clip economy is what's great.
You go on Tucker, you want the clips, right?
The show is great, but the clips will even go further.
They spread further.
One of the things that we do on this show on Human Events, which I don't think anybody else does yet, is that we actually do the clips and it's incredible.
Huge shout out to the team, by the way, for doing this day in and day out, and I don't thank them enough.
And not just the Human Events side, but Post Millennial and everybody that's involved.
Shout out to the Midnight Writer, Carly Bonet herself.
We post the clips as the show is running in real time.
So like you and I are talking by the end of the show or within 10, 15 minutes, all of these clips will already be generated because you have to understand we live in a clip economy.
And so it's the same deal with what you're saying right now, that those clips, yes, it will be audio only.
And I got to say with X spaces being audio only, that is going to be, you're kind of going to be, um, You're fighting an uphill battle a little bit because you don't have the same quality that you would have with two people sitting together in the same space.
Agreed.
And you know, you mentioned something earlier.
You talked about the importance of Donald Trump doing town halls.
So I think this is a good way to supplement that because Donald Trump is more willing than his Democrat counterparts to see, you know, opposing media, right?
CNN, maybe even MSNBC one day if they would come to terms with something like that.
And I think there's just a lot of opportunity for Donald Trump to reach people of all ages, of all political affiliations.
And that is going to be how he wins the election.
He has to come together a group of independent voters that walked away from him in 2020.
And it's not by a huge margin that he has to get them.
I mean, Donald Trump lost the election by a very narrow margin.
So he has this race in his pocket if he takes the right steps.
That's true.
And to be fair, to be fair, President Trump was just on Aiden Ross last week.
So So he's, he's been doing some of these other live streams.
He's been going on places that, and going to places that are non-traditional and really non-political.
So you also see this with a lot of the sports podcasts that he's been doing UFC, MMA, going on places like Full Send, going on with the Nelk Boys, because he understands that These are places where you can go to find people that aren't necessarily attuned to politics.
By the way, it does typically, and I gotta say it, Brana, it tends to be a little bit more Gen Z males than it does Gen Z females, isn't it?
It is, it is.
And you know what?
If that's what it's going to take to get those Gen Z males to turn out and register to vote, I've had to convince at least four people I know, and granted they've all been females, but people my age, are you registered to vote?
And then they say no.
And I say, okay, well, let's get you registered.
And I think women might be a little more willing to register to vote.
So I can't imagine what people my age, my male counterparts are doing.
And Donald Trump reaching out to men and speaking about things that they can relate to, right?
The economy.
Men have that burden on them to be the provider, and rightfully so.
I mean, I think that's a good traditional gender role.
Donald Trump speaks to them because he says— Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Hold on.
You're not allowed to say that.
Men being the provider, that's, you know, we're breaking all the rules now.
Taylor Swift is going to be very upset with you.
Please, I'm an equal provider, half and half, according to these liberals and these feminazis.
Oh, okay.
But that speaks to men these days, especially young men who are struggling in Kamala Harris' and Joe Biden's economy.
And that's a huge point, by the way, though, the idea of family, because this is something that I have.
Funny enough, I will say it this way.
Funny enough that I've heard more from Jen.
I hear more from Gen Z than I do or I did with Millennials regarding family formation and having kids.
It seems like Gen Z is more interested.
Maybe it's the ones I talk to.
Maybe I'm like, you know, getting a getting a bias, you know, self-selected bias here.
But I tend to hear more about that from the Zoomers that I talk to than the Millennials when they were in the same age range.
With Millennials, it's more like, oh, I want to go to more college.
I want to do more this.
I want to get more degrees.
Like, that was the whole Millennial thing.
And you never really heard much about homeownership and having kids.
Like, that was just something that came by later.
Whereas Zoomers, I think, have started to kind of learn from the mistakes of Millennials in regards to that and are starting to say, let's get married earlier.
Let's have kids earlier.
Let's do all of these things.
Let's make it a priority.
Yeah, you know, unfortunately, you go back to the late 1960s and the government essentially incentivized a broken family, not having two parents in the household, especially for minorities.
And that's led to a lot of the problems that we see today.
And kind of restructuring that family unit, saying it's okay to have a mom and a dad in the household, having the dad go out to work and the mom stay home.
That's really important because that leads to a functioning society, right?
When you raise kids who have values, you can't raise a child with values if both parents are never home, the child's being raised by the school system that we know, you know, goes out and indoctrinates students to be far leftist.
You can't have a successful society when the bedrock is not sturdy.
Having a successful family, though, that's a good bedrock.
Couldn't agree more.
Be a rebel, start a family.
Breonna Lyman, where can people go to follow you, get access to your writings?
Well, check out The Federalist.
I'm on there.
And then you can follow me on Twitter, BreonnaLyman2.
All right, make sure you're giving her a follow, folks.
By the way, we've got a very special video that I want to play for you going out here, courtesy of, I'm not sure if Tim Walton's put this out officially.
It looks like it might be.
I don't know.
Ladies and gentlemen, as always, you have my permission to lay it short.
And we can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is the only place where those weapons were.
