This is the view inside the site of the Republican National Convention that is set to kick off later today.
Normally, that would be a huge story on its own.
Yeah, but this year there is heightened scrutiny on the security of the convention following former President Donald Trump shot at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
One of the attendees there killed.
Two others may not survive this morning.
Now, this was the former president's video of him arriving in Milwaukee last night.
There had been talk of perhaps delaying the former president's trip to the RNC, but he said on social media he was not going to let the shooting change the convention's schedule.

Folks, we understand that America stands at a precipice now.
We saw, and we've been looking over the entire weekend, the live streams, we've been looking into every single thing that happened with the assassination attempt on President Trump, and we understand now that the stakes are higher than ever before.
Antifa, the left, they're already here in town.
We've got the videos, we've got the footage of the buses pulling them in.
We're going to go live directly to their decrepit and filthy and disgusting smelling protest, rank, disgusted, if you ever want to call it.
We're going to be doing that in just a few minutes.
But right now I want to bring in, and we'll talk to him a little bit in the next segment as well, a very special guest here.

I was, I was.
It's always a fabulous experience.
Donald Trump is the greatest leader that this country's ever had.
I'm convinced of it.
I supported him from day one, the 16th of June 2015, when he came down the escalator.
And I tell you what, Jack, he has not disappointed me even once.
What were your thoughts when you saw the footage that came out on Saturday night?
Jack, I was watching it live on television and as you know I brand myself as the alpha male but I've got to tell you that this alpha male was sobbing for the first five minutes.
I was just so incredibly struck by what I had seen and I almost immediately knew that it was some kind of Shooting.
I mean, that was pretty clear.
The media were... Not clear if you watched CNN, MSNBC, ABC.
It was a firecracker.
It was this.
It was that.
Trump falls.
Remember CNN?
Trump falls.
Yeah, just like Joe Biden.
That was the insinuation.
So, but look, I saw it.
I was just absolutely devastated by it.
And what moved me the most was how quickly he got up, how defiant he was, Jack, how he pumped up the crowd.
In that moment, those instincts, that's what we want from a leader.
That's what we need from the President of the United States.
That's strength.
I love what you just said.

It wasn't something that he thought about.
It was instinctual.
He responded with his instinct.

I wanted to talk to my guest here, bring my guest in here, Nick Adams, The Alpha Male.
You're looking at the situation, you understand politics, you understand psychology.
I actually think of you as sort of a social psychologist.
And when you're looking at something like that, so President Trump, in the face of everything that we saw on Saturday, has been given a choice now.
And we've been told that he's changed his speech, that they've changed the lineup here, that he wants to promote unity.
What are the choices that you see before the president right now?
And I'll ask you this, what would an alpha male do?
Look, I think an alpha male would definitely unite the country, and despite what the mainstream media has been saying for so many years, Jack, I do see Donald Trump as a unifying figure.
The reason that we haven't achieved the unity is because of people within his own party, and because there is at least 40% of the population that hate him, because they're jealous of him, they don't like who he is, they don't like what he's about, they don't like America like you and I do.
And that's the problem.
But I think now the President has a very unique opportunity to unify this country beyond his previous attempts.
I think he's going to be successful because everything this President touches, Jack, turns to gold.
We know what it turns into.

We all know what it turns into.
So I don't think Donald Trump is going to, he's got a lot of choices.
I think he's going to make good ones when it comes to the vice presidential pick.
I'm in the dark, just like you, just like all of us.
I don't think a decision has been made yet, but I tell you what, I don't think he can go wrong, whoever he chooses.
I think that this election is about the future of the United States, a vote for Donald Trump.
Let me actually, real quick, real quick, let me ask you about that, what you were just saying there.
The idea that an alpha male is a uniter.
What is it about the alpha male psychology that we see exhibited in President Trump, which is so different from what we used to see from the Republican Party.
What is it about those qualities that actually draw someone towards them and draw groups of people towards them?
Jack, an alpha male is a leader.
He's someone that stands up and takes the hits for people.
And Donald Trump has done that For the last eight years of public life, he's stood up for Americans.
He could be right now on the island of Mykonos.
Knocking back Uzo having a great time, but instead he's here fighting for us.
Donald Trump is our Winston Churchill and he will save Western Civilisation.
What did you feel for that minute or so, minute plus, when the shots ran out and initially, so being in the military, we go back to TCCC, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, and it was tough to tell in the initial footage, watching it live, whether he grabbed his ear or if he was a little bit lower and actually grabbing his neck.
And so it was just that quick motion.
Of course, as we've seen, it's slower, you realize it's the ear.
My initial thought was, there's a chance he doesn't get back up.
Oh, absolutely.
Where did your mind go in that moment?
I was horrified, Jack.
I was horrified and I was stunned.
You know, growing up in Australia, now obviously proudly an American citizen, I've lived here for most of the last 15 years, but it was... I couldn't get my head around what I'd seen because when I was growing up, the Secret Service were like gods.
Nothing happened if the Secret Service was there.
That was their reputation.
But just like everything else, toilet paper is not as strong as it was, candy is not as sweet as it was, Every kind of facet of American life has suffered.
And we see the same now with the Secret Service.
It's not what it used to be.
It's DEI.
You've got a 5 foot 2 woman protecting a 6 foot 4 former president.
It's nuts.
So I couldn't quite in that first minute realise, surely they would never have allowed him to be shot.
I just didn't think, having seen so many rallies, having been to so many rallies, Jack, I never even thought that was a possibility.
But once I did see it, I was horrified.
And I tell you what, yesterday and today would have been different days had that bullet been an inch.
A different direction.
It's true.
And I'll go back to what you're saying as well, because this does play an element into it.
The anti-masculinity drive that we've seen throughout not only public society, but through the mainstream media and through our government actually plays a role in this, doesn't it?
It really does.
Of course it does.
And it's so sad to see we've got, I mean, if this didn't wake up the entire world, Jack, That America has someone working for it.
It's people.
Civilisation.
And I'm not just talking about the United States, I'm talking about every free person in the world.
If they can't look and see what Donald Trump offers, then quite frankly, we don't deserve a leader of his magnitude.
I just think that if it was a squadron of alpha males that was running that Secret Service deal, that was running the local police there of alpha males, who by the way, don't sit around and wait for someone to tell them what to do.
Don't sit around and wait to, oh am I, ask permission if someone's shooting at the President of the United States.
You take action, you take action resolutely, and when you see that fire, you see that firearm, you see that rifle, you see all of those things in order, you don't wait.
You take action.
This, by the way, is, and I said this to Tucker Carlson, I said that the most, the most masculine word in the English language that I've been able to discover yet is the word no.
No.
Because it's something that's less masculine to say, what if we try this?
Or what if we did this?
Or what if we did that?
And it takes men being able to say no.
Not arbitrarily, but at a time when it matters.
Isn't that right?
Absolutely.
You want clarity of thought.
You want clarity of action.
We want plain speaking, Jack.
That's what leadership is about.
That's what strength is about.
And there's been a war on strength for a long time.
And it's part of the feminization of society.
It's part of the feminization of our culture.
But I tell you what, when you don't have strength, what happens is other areas of strength From foreign places that you don't like, they come in and they take over because it's the bullies that always win.
And it's time that we have a leader that exudes, exhibits incessant strength, no matter what the circumstance.
And we've seen that.
Look at all of the lawfare against Donald Trump.
Look at now this assassination attempt.
Nobody has gone through so much stress, so much adversity.
He should be the pin-up for every motivational speaker, every young person that has a dream, everyone that wants to accomplish something in their life.
Look, when this happened and I saw that footage, I actually was with my family, and the first thing I did was I showed my children, showed my two boys, and I said, you see that boys?
You might never see anything like this again in your lives, but I want you to see that now.

And President Trump, who narrowly escaped losing his life, he is calling for national unity.
President Biden is calling for national unity.
Why don't we take them both up on that offer and why don't we as Americans try and strive for the exact same thing?
We have enormous problems.
They're gonna be a lot easier to fix if we do it together as opposed to if we're, you know, fighting each other's throats.
And it seems here that, and we've heard of course President Trump also speaking with President Biden.

There's been these calls for unity and yet it seems like this So it's not going to happen overnight, Jack, right?
And you also have to understand, this is a small slice of the American population, so don't let this blow up into something bigger than it probably is.
I think most Americans agree with us, agree with the Presidents, that we do need to heal and unify this nation.
There's an absolute way forward.
Senator, do you think that with that new path ahead for the convention that we're going to see it tacked out on the stage here?
I believe so, and again, President Trump is setting the tone.
You know, he announced he's literally changing his acceptance speech on Thursday to focus on unity.
That's a good thing.
I've been saying for well over a couple years that as significant as our debt and destiny is, a great threat that is to our nation, the greater threat at this point is the fact that we are horribly divided.
But the good news is, we're not a naturally divided people.

The chart that he was looking to was actually sent to me by your office the first time that I saw it.
Tell me about the story of the chart that you created and could you ever have believed that creating a chart like that would play a role in saving the life of Donald Trump?
God does work in mysterious ways, doesn't he?
No, that was a chart I've been developing literally from about 2014 during Obama's humanitarian crisis.
Just keeping track of monthly, daily encounters by month.
Had an opportunity to fly up with the President to the Green Bay Rally in April.
And so I had a bunch of things I was showing him, and that was one of them.
I showed him my chart.
He liked it, and had me send it to his team, and right on Trump Force One there, they've got a great graphics department, print things out.
So before long, he already had, you know, modified it a little bit, and he started using it that day.
And he's been using it regularly.
So, I mean, serendipity, providential.
It's pretty interesting that that might have been.
He credits it.
That's why he said he saved his life.
He's mentioned it in a few of the interviews that he's done.
I think he mentioned the New York Post.
He mentioned it in the Washington Examiner interview as well, where he said that it was looking at that chart, which I believe in some folks, if you watch the clip, he actually says it wasn't on the script to go to the chart at that point.
It was that he just saw the chart that you liked and the power that you put together and your team put together, the power of a visual.
Putting that together, and he turns, and I've been saying on Twitter and in a few interviews and statements that I've given, they say, as a believer, as a Christian, they always say that the description of the Holy Spirit that's always given throughout the New Testament, every time the Holy Spirit is referenced, it's always described as a gust of wind.
And when you see that there was a gust of wind, looking at your chart, it really, something happened that day.
I mean, you know President Trump.
He loves this country.
I think a lot of people on the left don't even view him as a normal human being.
He is.
He escaped death narrowly.
A wonderful human being.
A 50-year-old father of two lost his life protecting his family.
That impacts you.
That changes your life.
Now we have an opportunity.
Had this not happened, obviously we were supporting President Trump because his policies are right.
He wants to make America great again.
Now you've got a president whose life has been changed, who has to believe God put him here for a purpose.
God puts us all here for a purpose, but seems to be a little more specific purpose for President Trump.
He's calling for national unity, four years, doesn't have to worry about re-election.
President Trump could do big things.
He can reach across the aisle to try and solve these massive problems that we face.
That's what I hope for, that's what I'm praying for.
Something as well that I've noticed, Senator, is that A lot of people this outpouring and you go on social media you can see a lot of people saying that for them it catalyzed the political moment that we're in because I think for a lot of people out there it's as you say they're not partisan they love America but you know for a lot of people politics is something that just kind of goes on and nothing ever really changes and you've got your your R's and your D's and your reds and your blues and there's always just arguing but there was something about that moment the imagery
That's the hope.

energy that reached out to those people who aren't necessarily engaged in the political process.
Do you think this will actually bring people into the process from a perspective of patriotism?

And God, I'm so glad it happened so fast.
And he was popping up there and showing the kind of strength and defiance that he exhibited, which was remarkable.
But because it happened so fast, it's... maybe people don't understand the real impact, but, you know, I'm sitting there going, am I watching like a RFK Jr.
or JFK assassination?
I mean, what kind of shape is he in?
Is he going to recover?
Is he dead?
I mean... It was about a full minute plus.
And then, bam, that was over.
And okay, no, he's up.
He looks like he'd be well.
He's bloodied, but he's not down.
And that's, again, that's when I started thinking about, he didn't need to do this.
You know, God bless him.
He loves this country.
Maybe we can turn to that moment, and he's doing exactly that.
He's doing exactly what I was thinking at that moment, is maybe this, maybe something good can come of this.
You know, that happens all the time in America.
When we have tragedies, you know, we're a divided nation.
But after 9-11, We came together like that, which just proves my point.
We're not a naturally divided people, we are naturally unified people.
All it takes is political leadership to make sure we remain unified.
So this idea, in your conversations with, obviously there's a lot of delegates coming to town, probably a lot more Republicans than you're used to seeing in Milwaukee, but with all of the Senate, a lot of Senators coming in, a lot of Congressmen coming in, what types of discussions have you been hearing from those, from them behind the scenes, how that That event has has left a real impact on this this event here.
Well it's still kind of early and you know people are just coming in here so we haven't had too many of those discussions but there's just no doubt about that what happened on Saturday made a huge This is going to have a huge impact on what's happening here.
We were already coming in quite united prior to the debate because, let's face it, we think Democrat policies are destroying this country.
There's nothing partisan about that.
I mean, there's nothing vitriolic about that.
I'm just stating what I believe.
After the debate, now we saw President Biden in his full physical and mental deterioration.
Again, I take no joy in that.
It's sad to see in any person.
I lost my father-in-law to Parkinson's with Lewy Body Dementia.
We see the signs.
So that helped unify us.
My God, this guy, he can't be president anymore.
He's not qualified.
Throw on top of that, our president, President Trump, narrowly escapes an assassination attempt.
You got to start thinking this is, there's a plan here.
This is, this is an event that could change America, could change President Trump, could change all of us.
I hope it does.
It feels like there's a pathway that's now been opened up that wasn't previously available because, of course, the conversation following the debate, Biden stay, will he leave, will he be replaced, will something happen, Kamala, Gavin Newsom, that was the whole conversation.
That conversation's over.
That conversation, Axios, they're going around talking to people that they're not even having the conversation anymore.
And totally, the shift hasn't, it's been to Trump, but also to Trump Can I ask your listeners, your viewers, would that change your life?

Shout at them.
Taunt them as you go by, but let them enter peacefully.
I think that's right, and I think we want to see that peace.
We're going to go back there to make sure that that is what's going on on the ground, of course, and we know the security posture is where it is.

Well, there's no doubt about the fact that we do have to point out the differences in the party, and that's legitimate.
And it will sound partisan because it is.
They have a vision for America of growing government, more control, helping people through massive deficit spending.

President Trump wants to be president for all Americans, create opportunity, use that God-given freedom to dream, aspire, build, and create.

We've seen an assassination attempt only 48 hours ago.
This is the Monday after the Saturday night where President Trump survived an assassin's bullet by mere millimeters.
Now you've got leftists marching.
And Ben, describe for me again the pictures of President Trump with these X's over his eyes.
Yeah, so you've got a lot of anti-Trump protests again.
They're continuing down.
We're going to make our way back into the event right now.
But you've got pictures of Trump as a Nazi, as Hitler.
You've got pictures of Trump, basically his head getting ripped off or ripped apart, it looks like.
And then you've got him of his eyes being crossed out.
So all kinds of lovely things out here from the so-called tolerant left.
So again, when you hear President Trump and President Biden both come out with this same piece of music, the same sheet of music, calling for unity, calling for a national conversation, calling for a tone down in the escalation, these pre-planned protests were not called off.
These were brought in with the buses, with everything that's going on.
They're not listening to Biden, are they?

No, these guys want violence.
They want escalation.
They've been behind it.
