Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard to today's edition of Human Events Daily, live from Washington, D.C.
Today is February 20th, 2024, and I know, Dominique, the state versus Donald J. Trump.
So, lawfare is the new COVID.
Let me explain what's going on.
President Trump isn't running against Joe Biden.
President Trump is running against lawfare.
Lawfare is the situation that he's running against.
He's the opponent.
It's his adversary.
It's the situation that's going on at the time.
The same way, in many respects, that in 2020, Trump's real opponent wasn't Joe Biden.
It was COVID.
COVID and election fraud through these mail-in ballots.
Now, we know that in 2020, this was a great benefit for Biden for a number of reasons, chief among which, he had an excuse to not crisscross the country and stay in his basement all year.
The problem with Biden, and even Nate Silver has admitted it now, is that he physically can't crisscross the country in campaign the way Trump is.
He's about to get off his plane at this very moment.
We can see Trump doing all these rallies, going from rally to courtroom trial, but Trump's strategy is very clear.
If we have that shot of Trump getting off his plane, let's go to it.
So, this strategy by Trump for going to all of these hearings, to going to all of these trials, it's so clear.
He is making the story of Trump versus the state be the entire story of 2024.
He isn't even bringing up Biden.
This is clear.
The average person doesn't care about Trump's trials anymore.
They can see all of this.
The left thinks, oh, we have to put Trump in jail.
We have to get Trump so we can save the world.
Get Trump so we can save the world.
You hear this at the Munich Security Conference.
You hear it across all the capitals of Europe.
But the average person doesn't care.
The average person says, why are you trying so hard to get this guy?
You're making up crimes.
You're making up these ridiculous claims against him, giving him ridiculous, exorbitant sums for stuff that's either old or stuff that's either been talked about a million times, and it's obvious.
Your president, Biden, can't run the country.
He can't even campaign.
Even if Trump is found guilty in one of these trials, it's not going to have the same political effect, and it's been his strategy that's fixed it.

This is my theory of the case, folks.
My theory of the case is this.
What Trump's strategy is here that I'm trying to explain, and we're also told, by the way, that the president might be giving remarks, live remarks here in South Carolina soon after deboarding his planes.
We're going to keep an eye on that, and we will cut to it and bring those remarks should he decide to give remarks live from South Carolina during the hour.
But his strategy of attending these trials, showing himself on trial, showing himself and showing his cases, going up against Judge En-Garan, going up against these other judges, it's very clear.
It's very clear to me why he's doing this.
He's doing it to make the story look old.
The story of Trump being on trial, Trump getting fined, Trump versus this judge, Trump versus that judge.
At some point, it's going to get stale.
And these people on the left, who have made it their mission in life, because they believe that they will actually save the world by putting Trump behind bars or fining him or some such thing, It's just not translating to the average voter, the average working class family, the Joe Blows out there.
They don't care.
Gavin Wax of the New York Young Republicans joins us now.
Gavin, I want to ask you, do you think I'm on to something?
Does this seem to be the strategy that Trump is running right here?
Because it's like, when you're dealing with a media narrative that you can't get rid of, what's the best way to play into it?
You drive it into the ground.
Absolutely.
I think a lot of Republicans fail to grasp this in general as they battle left-wing narrative formation.
You need to put the enemy on the back foot.
You need to control the narrative.
You need to flip the script, not play by their rules, not play within their frame.
You have to reframe every type of talking point, discussion, argument, conflict, whatever it is.
With his legal fights, with these judicial battles, he needs to use extra judicial means to shape the story, shape the narrative, and ultimately win, at least in the court of public opinion and certainly on the electoral map.
So while these courts and judges and juries may be stacked against him, there are still wins to be had.
And I think that's playing 4D chess, if you will, you know, the meme, the 4D chess meme.
And I think President Trump has mastered many parts of that.
And so that's a great point that you're making right there, that it is sort of a 4D chess move in a sense where people, of course, you know, they go, you're 4D chess guys.
Think about it, right?
You know, people, the traditional two-dimensional view of this is Trump's on trial.
Trump could be found liable in any of these cases.
And the American people aren't going to vote for a guy who's got a judgment against him to say.
Same way they said that the indictments would hurt him in the primary, which Ron DeSantis found out to his chagrin was the wrong assessment of the situation.
Because I think they've lost the understanding of how this looks to the American people.
And I gotta say, look, when you got a guy Who's on trial, right?
Gets fined $450 million.
Let's say he's fined half a billion dollars.
It's called half a billion.
Fined half a billion.
By the way, on trial over the value of his brand, which I think we all know that prior to this, that Donald Trump's brand is one of the most powerful brands face of the planet.
You know, even before he got into politics, he obviously leveraged that brand that he built up over decades to get to jumpstart his political career and start off the top the way he did, running and winning for the presidency on the very first time he ever tried to run any for anything.
So his brand's on trial.
Then what does he do?
He goes to the UFC events.
He gets a standing ovation in every city that UFC is held in.
Then he goes to Philadelphia and Sneaker Con and drops a new sneaker line out there.
I said, wait a minute, he's pushing merch.
The guy moves merch.
He's following the playbook that every hip-hop star for the last 30 years has done.
This is like, you know, when 50 Cent gets locked up and then his records go double platinum.
What country did these people think they're living in if they, you know, this isn't like the 1950s anymore.
No, absolutely.
I mean, you talk to a lot of these grifting consultants in the GOP circles.
I deal with a lot of them locally, at the local and state level.
I mean, they're so clueless.
They don't have their finger on the national pulse.
They don't have a clue about what's going on in the culture, on Twitter, on the X, excuse me.
They don't understand.
what's happening.
They don't understand memes.
They don't understand, you know, this new trajectory that we're taking in modern politics with the use of social media and these sort of unconventional ways of campaigning.
And I think President Trump understands that completely.
He's taking advantage of these, you know, low hanging fruit, these opportunities to get his name out there, to get in front of, you know, crowds and demographics that normally wouldn't be exposed to Republican candidates.
And I think he's doing a brilliant and masterful job and it's costing him little.
It's getting him tons of exposure and he keeps winning.
I mean, the sneaker con move was absolutely brilliant.
It completely shattered any, you know, conventional thinking as it comes to presidential campaigns.
And, you know, people are screeching about the cost of these sneakers and the price that they've gone up to.
I mean, at the end of the day, everyone's talking about President Trump.
Everyone's talking about what he's doing.
They're talking about where he's going.
This is how you captivate the headlines.
This is how you captivate the news cycle and maintain your control over it, winning free earned media.
I mean, he's playing a playbook, you know, that's, that's just running circles around most of these traditional consultants who just do not understand his appeal, his allure, how he's operating and these types of moves that he's making because they've never seen it before.
Because most of these other GOP candidates, they're milquetoast, they're generic, they're bland.
They don't have the brains to do this.
They don't have the chutzpah to pull it off.
I would throw this in there because we saw this ridiculous press conference from Nikki Haley just now and people at one hand were thinking that she was going to drop out a couple hours ago.
She comes out and gives a statement of why she's not dropping out.
But I think many people are missing the truly sinister nature of Nikki Haley's campaign because her campaign is not a campaign.
It is a sabotage operation where she is running in order for twofold.
Number one, forcing President Trump and the Republicans to expend good resources in a primary, a drawn out primary that is a fait accompli, that cannot be used later in the fall against Biden.
And she's also, with this strategy that her backers and the machine around Nikki Haley, this regime machine around her, she is the regime machine candidate.
That their strategy has been targeting Independents and Democrats of the left-leaning persuasion, so left-leaning Independents, to come in and register as Republicans, thereby sowing absolute chaos into Republican voter rolls and screwing up this data for Republicans come the fall, because as they're mailing out ballots or conducting ballot chase operations, which you know that the RNC, hopefully the new RNC heads, Oh, absolutely.
I mean, she's an empty vessel.
She's this Manchurian candidate for the military-industrial complex, for her corporate backers.
She's not running a campaign to win anything.
She's not running a constructive campaign, bringing unique ideas to the table, trying to advance a certain message.
She's just trying to destroy President Trump's chances come November.
I mean, this primary is effectively over.
Any politician that was actually operating under, you know, the auspices of trying to have a future political career would have dropped out by now, but she has no political career.
She hasn't had a political career for a very long time, and she's certainly not gonna have one after losing her home state by double digits.
I mean, anyone looking at the map, anyone looking at the numbers, realizes she has no path to victory.
So you are you are raising questions.
Many others are raising similar questions.
What exactly is the goal?
What is the end goal here?
And I agree with you.
I think it's just it's to cause chaos.
It's to, you know, waste resources, waste time, waste money, you know, distract him, keep him focused in primary states that are not really competitive in the general rather than focusing on some of the swing states that he needs to win, such as your home state of Pennsylvania.
So this is all just dirty establishment politics at its finest.
Nikki Birdbrain Haley.
It's a perfect nickname, by the way.
Again, another element of Trump's brilliance.
Perfect nickname.
She has absolutely nothing going on up there and she can just be spun and turned around and told what to say, you know, on a whim.
She'll be for whatever she needs to be when the moment is right.
She's the perfect corporate and establishment shill.
Uh, what's her future?
She has no future and President Trump now needs to deal with this nonsense.
Hopefully it'll be put to bed soon, but you know, I wouldn't put it past her to keep this, you know, zombie campaign going.
Gavin, I think by the way, I will throw out there to answer your questions before we go to break here, that what is her future?
And I believe that her future is that the military industrial complex wants to set Nikki Haley up for a potential Senate run.
Should Lindsey Graham's seat become open?
Should Tim Scott's seat become open?
For whatever reason, they want to make sure that they have their vessel, they have their avatar, their hologram set up because she is the figurehead for them.
And so they will go directly to her the minute there's an open Senate seat in the state of South Carolina or one of these, you know, they'll stick her on a board, have her make a bunch of money.
From now until then, she'll be living large off of the American taxpayer dollars that are going to You talk about influences.
the flower of Ukrainian y killing fields of the Don But until then, uh, then we'll be hearing more fr once more.
Gavin wax joi Trump may be making remar live if he does.
But right break.
Human events daily talk about influences.
Th their friends of mine, Jack Sovick.
Where's Jack?
Jack, he's done a great job.
Oh, my God.
All right, Jack Kuznick back live, Human Events Daily.
President Trump still on the tarmac there in South Carolina.
We'll be coming to him should he decide to give remarks.
But first, folks, we know the world is quickly descending into chaos.
Next medical crisis is just around the corner.
Whether it's another pandemic or something closer to home, preparedness is no longer an option.

Guys, it will come right to your door.
I'm telling you, the pharmacies suck now.
I don't know if it's Obamacare or COVID or a little bit of both, but just I think pretty much every pharmacy in America sucks right now.
I've had terrible experiences just getting stuff for my kids, getting stuff for my family.
TWC.Health slash POSO.
You will make those problems go away.
Promo code POSO.
I mean, Gavin, just seriously, as we're waiting for Trump to come back up here, have you had a good experience with the pharmacy in the last five to ten years at all?
No, absolutely not.
Look, I think big medicine, big food, you know, big pharma.
I mean, they're trying to keep us all sick and dependent and, you know, a complete mess.
I mean, we've had, you know, massive increases in chronic disease.
We've had massive increases in obesity.
and all types of ailments, and we've never been more medicalized as a society.
So I think we really need to review a lot of the, you know, innovations and advancements and changes over the last few generations and get back to our roots.
I think there's a lot of, you know, conservatives and right-wingers who are embracing, you know, holistic forms of medicine, who are embracing holistic forms of treatment and are looking back to, you know, our diets or looking to what we used to cook with.
you know, conservatives and right wingers who are embracing, you know, holistic forms of medicine, who are embracing holistic forms of treatment and are looking back to, you know, our diets are looking to what we used to cook with.
You know, I could go on a whole tangent about seed oils, for example, but there's a whole lot of things that we are doing as a country, especially compared to other countries across the world.
That's particularly unhealthy.
It's very toxic.
It's industrialized.
And as a result, we've never had, you know, higher rates of obesity, higher rates of chronic illness.
And I think it's something that we really need to look at.
And it really should be a part of the talking points, the rhetoric, the policy and the substance of the future of the GOP.
I couldn't agree more, man.
So I'm looking at the New York Daily News and I just happened to, I was looking up, you know, so you're, you're, you're in New York, your hometown, New York Daily News.
Alvin Bragg's case is Trump's Watergate.
It's Trump's Watergate.
And this is the, I mean, a year ago, you and I were there at the protest when Bragg, and this was the first indictment of President Trump, so his first arrest, And we were there.
Massive, massive thing.
This was a year ago.
I really feel like people just have tuned out.
I think that it's been oversaturated, right?
It's absolutely oversaturated.
And Trump is using this oversaturation as a media strategy all onto himself because people who are in politics, these political consultants, these establishment careerists do not understand media strategy because they may have interned on some campaigns.
They may have worked a little bit on a campaign.
They don't understand general media strategy or brand management.
There's some interesting, I would say, changes that are coming in through the new right on this.
So I'm not going to say completely.
There's a certain race in Wisconsin that I'm keeping an eye on, a congressional race, as I'm sure you are as well.
And there's this idea that a bad story is always a bad story.
But what Trump has shown is that he has the ability to turn that story into a part of his own brand because he's always been sort of the guy who's willing to break the rules to get the right thing done.
The guy who comes in to think of the Fix the ice rink there in Central Park when Ivanka, his daughter, wants to go ice skating and cut the red tape.
And so it really seems to me like liberals, and in a way that liberals were able to use COVID-19 as a way to scare the world and scare the country into compliance and subservience in 2020 because they said, if you do this, you will save the world, you will save your grandparents, you'll save the children, etc.
But now they're being told, put Donald Trump behind bars and it will save the world, and I'm sorry, I just don't think the average voter believes that, and I think it's going to have the opposite effect.
Amen.
I think all this has backfired.
I think they're reluctant to admit that it's backfired.
It's only helped us polling since these sham indictments have first come out.
I mean, if you look at the legal basis of this Manhattan case, I mean, it's a misdemeanor.
It's past the statute of limitations.
It's a bookkeeping error at best.
They really can't define who the victim is, what the crime is.
Yet again, a similar story with all of these sham indictments and charges and prosecutions.
And, uh, it's really just not a sexy issue.
And, uh, you know, I think president Trump understands that.
And you also bring up a great point that a lot of these, you know, conventional GOP, conservative consultants and grifters and hacks, they just come from this very, you know, linear world of politics.
Like you said, maybe they did an internship, maybe they worked on a campaign president Trump, you know, everyone talks about his real estate background, but in many ways, he's also a media mogul, uh, both for his own personal brands and for many of the companies he's run.
You know, a big part of his business empire was brand building, and that involves a lot of media strategy that involves a lot of, you know, captivating the media, building up a media presence.
So he understands some of these, you know, again, extrajudicial, extra legal ways to sort of build positives off of these, you know, apparent negatives with these cases.
And I think he's been framing it right.
Uh, I think he's been framing it, uh, not just as an attack on him, but as an attack on his supporters and the American constitution and our institutions and our Republic writ large.
And I think that messaging and that narrative has largely been successful.
And I don't think these cases have hurt his support.
I think they've only emboldened his support, expanded his support.
Uh, and you know, it doesn't, it'll also certainly.
Helps that most of these cases are ridiculous to begin with and the people prosecuting them are ridiculous to begin with.
I mean, let's stick to Manhattan for a second with Alvin Bragg.
I mean, this is a guy that's letting career criminals walk the streets, people with rap sheets that go back 10, 20 years with multiple violent felonies and other violent crimes on their records.
They basically just let everyone walk free.
They don't care about the victims of crime in New York.
Everyone gets to walk away with a desk appearance ticket.
I mean, it's absolute chaos.
It's absolute anarchy.
Crime is soaring.
Crime is through the roof in most American cities under these types of similar ideologically motivated DAs.
And he's in no position to be lecturing anyone about the rule of law and law and order and criminality when he is allowing criminality to run rampant in his own jurisdiction.
I mean, we see a story almost every week, every month about, you know, some violent thug, you know, doing something ridiculous, something criminal in Manhattan, getting to walk away scot-free.
So you go from that, you go to Fannie Willis.
And her joke of a case down there in Georgia with the with the RICO charges and her disaster of corruption and patronage.
But Gavin, let me.
And dealing.
It's a disgrace.
As dumb as we know, as dumb as we know these cases are, they let me ask you about this question to the left.
And I'm sure you talk to people who are Democrats or just people in your personal life who have this sort of get Trump attitude.
They, it's, it's not so much that they hate Trump.
It's that they, I mean, they do in a sense, but they have TDS in the sense, what, what does TDS mean?
It means they actually think that you will save the world by putting Trump behind bars or proving that he's a business cheat, even though they can't actually find anyone to, that he's done business with to say this other than someone who's like disgruntled.
How much trouble are they going to have going to the average voter and saying, look, we know, look, we're not locking up criminals, our cities are overflowing with migrants, they're attacking police officers all over New York City, but at the same time, and the economy is completely in the crapper, but if we put Trump behind bars, that will save the world.
It's just not going to connect, is it?
No, that's a great point, Jack, and it just goes to show that this is why President Trump has been performing consistently well in the polls with a large and sizable margin, not just in national polling, but in state level polling and battleground polling and polling of different, you know, demographic cohorts.
And it just goes to show that President Biden has really been languishing around the 40 percent mark.
And his approval ratings are at all time lows, historic lows, low, you know, lower than President Trump is now.
So in many ways, it's because of their messaging.
They really have nothing to offer the American people, the electorate, you know, the country at large besides attacking President Trump, you know, demonizing President Trump.
That's not a that's not a winning message.
That's not offering anything.
That's not fixing inflation.
That's not fixing, you know, interest rates, mortgages.
That's not fixing underemployment and unemployment.
It's not fixing, you know, the chaos that's embroiling from Ukraine to Israel to the Red Sea to the China, the Sea of China.
with Taiwan.
I mean, the entire world is on fire right now.
And all the Democrats have to offer the American people are these phony sham prosecutions.
And attacking President Trump is the source of all their problems.
And he's been out of office for how many years now?
So it just goes to show they have no campaign.
They have no winning message.
They have no inspiring message.
And I think that's the reason President Trump is going to win come November.
You've got the book that lays all this out.
Remind everybody what the book is and the message for the American people.
Absolutely, Jack.
The book is The Emerging Populist Majority.
It's available where all books are sold, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.
And the book is very simple.
It dives into the history of the American body politic, and it uses that history and current trends to describe the future.
I believe, and my co-author Troy Olson, believe that the future of American politics, and in some cases the future of most politics in the Western world, is one of an ascendant and emerging populist majority, a majority of people that are completely discontent and disgruntled with these runaway, with these out-of-touch a majority of people that are completely discontent and disgruntled with these runaway, with these out-of-touch elites who are creating these problems, who are managing the decline of Western society, Western nations, and particularly the United States, who are advancing all of these concepts that we all know very dearly, whether
States, we're advancing all of these concepts that we all know very dearly, whether it's globalization, open borders, forever wars, you know, constant foreign military interventions, you know, this cultural Marxist agenda, you know, tearing down of, you know, traditional institutions, traditional cultural mores, all these types traditional institutions, traditional cultural mores, all these types of things.
I mean, we're facing an onslaught, I couldn't agree more.

It's a populist majority.
I couldn't agree more.
Gavin wax and we've got we've got the photo of us up from one year ago there.

Get his book The Emerging Populist Majority.
Jack, where is Jack?
Where is Jack?
Where is he?
Jack, I want to see you.
Great job, Jack.
Thank you.
What a job you do.
You know, we have an incredible thing.
We're always talking about the fake news and the bad, but we have guys, and these are the guys who should be getting Pulitzer.
I'm Kirk Cameron.
Come with me.
My friends and I have an announcement to make.
Hey, Kirk.
Hey.
Hey, friends.
I'm Leigh Allen Baker.
And we have something super exciting for you.
Did you tell him yet, Mr. Kirk?
Did you tell him?
Iggy!
Remember what we learned about patience?
Oh, sorry, Mr. Kirk!
I'm just so excited!
We all are!
We all are!
As I was saying, we have some... Mr. Kirk!
Mr. Kirk!
Have you seen my safety goggles?
Um, they're on your head, Iggy.
Oh, of course!
Thanks, Mrs. Lee!
Do you know what that was all about?
No clue.
Okay, we're really excited to announce we are making a brand new children's... Iggy!
What are you doing?
Sorry, I was just getting ready for the big announcement.
The treehouse isn't going to build itself.
Did you tell him yet?
Did you?
No, no, we haven't told him yet.
Would you just like to tell him yourself, Iggy?
What?
Little old me?
Tell everyone one of the most amazing, most important, most groundbreaking announcements ever recorded in the history of the world?
That's a lot of pressure.
What if I mess up?
There are probably millions of people watching me right now.
You can do it, Iggy.
I believe in you.
Okay, here it goes.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and squirrels, we're teaming up with Brave Books to make, drumroll please, a kids TV show called Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk.
Adventures with Iggy and Mr. Kirk.
Kirk Cameron joins us now, man.
I gotta tell you, I showed that trailer to my kids last night, and they finished the thing, and they go, Daddy, where's the show?
We want to watch it right now.
And I said, well, you know, it's coming out later, and there's a crowdfund, and this, and they're launching a fundraising campaign, and they're looking at me like, Daddy, We want to watch the show.
Where is the rest of the show?
I was like, Daddy has to help them promote it first and then there's going to be a show.
You'll see.
You'll see.
So Kirk, tell us about the show.
How did the Brave Books experience and that partnership turn into this new show?
And walk us through what the plan is.
Well, first of all, your kids have the gift of discernment for very high-quality television programming.
I'm so excited about it.
This is a brand-new show.
We think this is going to be utterly unique.
It's live-action children's television combined with beautiful animation and The kind of timeless moral lessons of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.
So think of Mr. Rogers, but updated, high-energy, hilarious dialogue, world-class puppeteering from one of the puppeteers who worked with Jim Henson and the Muppets for decades.
Combined with me and Lee Alan Baker from Disney's Good Luck Charlie and other guest stars at every turn, teaching lessons with a pro-God, pro-American values.
So everything from the warning children about the dangers of communism and socialism with stories that will be animated like the Island of Free Ice Cream to valuing the sanctity of life To protecting against First and Second Amendments, to teaching the fruit of the Spirit, love, kindness, joy, and peace.
We want to create worlds of imagination for children to enter into and identify with good characters rather than, um, just...
Being destroyed in this identity crisis that the woke machine has left them in.
And we're so excited.
It's coming out this summer.
We're crowdfunding it right now.
We're in the middle of production.
And we can't wait for the first two seasons to be completed.
Well, Kirk, this is amazing.
And look, you know, all cards on the table for the Brave Book series.
I mean, this is, it has become, you know, I guess it was two, almost three years ago now, at this point, when I first was contacted by the team at Brave and said, hey, we want to do this book, The Island of Free Ice Cream.
And, you know, we were part of that sort of initial tranche of getting it, you know, getting it going.
We were, you know, like many things, we weren't sure where it was going to go.
I said, I hope we sell some books.
I hope some kids read it.
I had no idea that it was going to turn into the movement that it has turned into.
And of course, they said, Hey, do you want to write an anti-communism kids book?
And I said, of course I want to write an anti-communism kids book.
Right.
You know, and you know, and my son loves it.
He was actually, so he's at this point, Dude, and, and, and tell me if your kids are into this as well.
He's, he's read every single book, every single issue in the entire series.
I know, they're great.
He's got the, the poster on his wall.
So, and he's got all the stickers for every single little poster.
He goes through like all the little different areas of Freedom Island.
And now they're, you know, the new Saga 4 has just begun.
And so he's trying to come up with his different theories about what could happen in Saga 4 and who the bad guys are.
And this, this is what I mean to tell people that You know, because so many people say, oh, you know, we're going to put a, you know, we're going to put a values first spin on things.
We're going to have a great, you know, Christian based or faith based or even just conservative based series, but it's also a good story.
And I think so many people miss out on this point that it's not just about the value.
I mean, is it about the, it's about the values, about the issues, it's about, you know, working with great, you know, great content creators like yourself, but it's also the idea That it's just a really cool story that kids are super into, and I'm speaking from experience as just a parent of a Brave Books kid, you know, in addition to whatever else I might be.
Well, Jack, I'm so thankful for you, so thankful for the way that you're speaking truth and exposing lies and getting it to us in an accessible format that we can understand and share with our kids.
And this is just another way of doing that through books and through television.
I think that we underestimate the instructions that we've been given.
You know, as a man of faith, I look to the scriptures in the Bible that say things like, teach these things diligently to your children when they rise up in the morning, they walk along the way, when they sit down and when they go to sleep.
And I think we didn't take it serious.
Telling your kids stories at bedtime, teaching them things when you're driving in the car to school or you're on the soccer field, that stuff's important when they're three years old, four and five years old.
That's why all the cartoons have gone woke That's why they're all the drag queens are going after the kids because it's the little stories at the little Every day, you don't think it's important times throughout the week that actually shapes their morals and their values.
And by the time they get into high school and they get into college, they finish them off with this woke indoctrination and their little lemmings for the Marxist machine.
We've got to lean in and take it serious.
The power of story is huge.
Kids want to identify with the characters in those stories.
And because of all of the progressive stories being told to kids through their screens and books, New Jersey now says that the Gen Z has a 4,000% increase in children who declare themselves non-binary.
30% of Gen Z identifies now as gay, lesbian, transgender, or bisexual or queer.
And why is this happening all of a sudden?
Well, it's because of the power to shape the hearts and minds of children.
That's why we've got to lean in, play the long game, and help to nourish their little hearts and minds now with what's good and true and right.
It's so true, Kirk, because, you know, we see it in school after school, and it's insidious, because you'll see these narratives get pushed in, or, you know, like we had President's Day this week, and you go to kids and say, do you know why we have off this week?
It's because of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, and they'll say, who are they?
You know, who are George Washington and Abraham Lincoln?
Because you'll know all, like, the woke stars and the woke, you know, I can tell you who Barack Obama is.
I'm not speaking of my kids, by the way.
Kamala Harris is, and all these people.
And they'll know all those answers.
But you ask them, tell you something about George Washington, or they'll say something about Abraham Lincoln.
What do you know about Thomas Jefferson?
Oh, Thomas Jefferson!
I know Thomas Jefferson.
He had slaves.
In fact, I even heard he might have had kids with one of them.
That's what they're taught.
There's barely even any evidence to that, by the way.
by the way, which is a whole other tangent.
But it's the fact of the matter is that we don't teach about our founding fathers.
We don't teach about the basic history of our country.
Our history is being replaced.
Our values are being replaced.
Our culture is being replaced.
And I love the fact that, you know, for my kids, we pray every day.
We read from the Bible every day.
We start every morning with a prayer.
We end every morning with a prayer.
That's exactly how it should be.
And Brave Books fits seamlessly, absolutely seamlessly into this.
We're coming up on a quick break, but I just want people to say again, you know, these books, they're not beating you over the head with messaging either, like, you know, some series might do.
You know, it's not like that at all.
It's just good stories with good messages that are really built into the ideas and the lessons learned in the stories as it goes on.
Coming up on a quick break, we'll be right back with more Kirk Cameron, Watchbrave.com, the new TV series, The Adventures of Iggy, Mr. Kirk.
Come back live, Human Events Daily.
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
Jack Posobiec back here live, Human Events Daily.
Okay, we have breaking news.
This is out of the Post Millennial.
I just got this from Libby and the team over there out of Kansas City.
Now, you know this show, Human Events Daily, led with the narrative of Kansas City yesterday asking about why won't they name the shooters when they named, of course, the The nine-year-old who was at the game with, you know, and they claimed he was in blackface, Kyle Rittenhouse, others.
Now we're here.
Okay.
The Post Malone dot com breaking alert.
FBI seeks third shooter in Kansas City Super Bowl shooting after eyewitness comes forward.
A third shooter.
So, you know, the two were arrested.
They won't tell us the names.
A third eyewitness has now come forward, says the FBI is looking for someone.
Listen to this.
It's hard to read this stuff.
It's hard to read this.
A fight breaks out from 5 to 10 feet from us.
I didn't realize it at the time because I thought they were all just little punks.
One of the shooters had to be around 13.
The guy had a gun at his hip and was shooting from his hip into the crowd.
The first victim, the lady who died, was shot in the leg and they just carried on shooting.
As we're moving, there's a guy to my right.
His chest exploded and there were bodies just piling up.
It goes on and on to talk about this horrific shooting over a dozen children that were shot in the middle of Kansas City at this parade.
And, of course, the mayor of Kansas says that you are racist if you want to know who these shooters were or why this happened.
Absolutely insane story.
Of course, we're going to stick with that as we go.
You know, Kirk, you know, we're sitting here talking about, you know, a kid's series and a kid's show, but we also know that our kids are growing up in a very different country than the one that you and I grew up in, aren't they?
Yeah, they sure are, and it's clear to me what has happened.
Now, you don't even have to be a person of faith to understand that this is true.
Even some of our most irreligious of founders in this country understood that you've got to have some foundational religion or philosophy of life to secure the morals of this nation.
In this country, Noah Webster told us that for centuries that foundational religion was the religion of Christianity sown into the hearts of children through the home and through the schools, public and private.
And that is what produced our liberty.
That's what produced our blessing and our prosperity.
And what we've done is we have decoupled the root, that is that biblical Christianity, from the tree.
And so all of the sweet fruit of morality of do unto others, consider others more important than yourselves, serve one another, don't make it all about you, that sounds great, and it's a good idea, but once you snip the root that nourishes those morals, The tree eventually begins to wilt and wither and the fruit begins to shrivel up and turn rotten and pithy and bitter.
That's what we're seeing with these shootings in the parades, we're seeing shootings in the schools, we're seeing kids being mutilated and parents taking their children to drag queen shows.
Morals go down the drain when the tree of this republic is no longer nourished by the root of Christianity.
And we've got to get back to it or we're just going to watch the entire tree upend and fall over.
The roots will be sticking up in the air and that's just what the Marxists and Communists want.
It's that conflict culture that burns everything down so they can come in and build back better.
They can reset with whatever you want.
China, USSR, what do you want to rebuild?
We can't let that happen and we've got to start by reattaching the root and getting back to the basics.
Well, Kirk, I want to break a little bit more news, and this one in the exact 180 from there, and I don't even think you realize this yet because you're here doing the interview.
I just got an email from Brave Books.
Guys, can we put this up?
So, Kirk has been running around doing the book, this launch of the new show, announcing the new fundraising campaign.
Brave Books just sent me an email.
We've almost funded episode one in one day.
The goal is $125,000 and you've almost raised that, Kirk, as you've been doing media, as you've been running around, as people have been hearing about this.
Today is launch day for this series.
Almost $125,000 raised in just one day.
How does that make you feel to see a response like that?
That's super encouraging to me.
And I know that we can keep going and get the rest funded very quickly because there's millions of us, Jack, who feel this way and want to get behind something that's making a positive difference.
What I love about partnering with Brave Books is that they're not trying to fund their next television program by getting their money from Hollywood or a streaming platform that's going to have strings attached to that money.
This is what The Chosen did.
They went to the audience and said, guys, if anybody's going to make this show, we need to make it ourselves.
or else other people are gonna tell us what to do.
So that's what's happening.
We're inviting people to go to watchbrave.com and turn all of these great stories into a world-class children's television program.
And if you do support and you help us make Episode 1 and 2 all the way through the first two seasons, there are rewards depending on the level of support.
So you can actually come to the red carpet premiere of The show in Nashville with me and Lee Allen Baker and Iggy the Iguana.
You can also get one of your kids or your grandkids to appear in one of the episodes.
So, Jack, you might want to think about that.
Sounds like your kids might love to meet Iggy in the show.
Wait, wait, wait.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Don't bury the lead.
I could get my kids in the show itself?
Yes.
Yes, all of these rewards, and there's the Robertson Experience, the Duck Commander Experience, going to church even on a Sunday with some of the Robertsons, with all sorts of other really cool rewards.
If you go to WatchBrave.com, you can check it out and help us get this show on the air.
My wife is watching.
She goes, I can't wait to watch this show.
We're going to do it.
We're going to, I think they want to be, this is the problem, right?
Cause people are saying, people always say like, Oh, well, you know, you've got this social media platform.
You got to put your kids on.
You're going to let them on air.
Do they want to be stars?
And I don't know if you know anything about, you know, child actors and what happens to them when they get older and later, if you have any, like, I don't know, personal experience with that.
Yeah, just a little bit.
I know a guy.
You know a guy, exactly.
No, this is incredible.
And it's just great because, you know, I look for shows and we show our kids old shows all the time because with new stuff, you just can't trust it anymore.
And, you know, even with Mr. Rogers, you know, it's like, where's the Mr. Rogers of today that kids could watch?
And I really feel like what you've done with Mr. Kirk, not to, you know, Not to blow you up too much here, but I think this actually could be the next stage in that spiritual successor to what Mr. Rogers' neighborhood was.
I really believe that, man.
Oh, well, thank you for your encouragement and your support.
And from your lips to everybody's ears, let's do this.
Let's do what the Chosen did.
Let's not rely on other people to make the stuff that we want.
Instead of being complainers of the culture, let's be creators of the culture.
Instead of hanging out with the whiners about everything getting worse, let's be winners and make everything better.
And we just gotta do it because we're the emerging populist majority.
We are.
The website is WatchBrave.com.
Kirk Cameron, The Adventures of Iggy and Mr. Kirk.
I can't wait to watch it.
Episode 1 all the way through in one day.
Incredible.
Let's keep it going.
