We are in a fifth generational conflict.
For every lie they tell, we're going to get in their face and yell two truths.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
Deliver us from evil.
The intelligence community is determined.
The U.S.
intelligence community is determined.
There are those who are intentionally trying to divide us as a nation.
is the greatest terrorist threat we face in the whole world. - There are those who are intentionally trying to divide us as a nation.
Our diversity is our strength and our unity is our power as a nation. - The National Archives admits to having thousands of emails sent by then Vice President Joe Biden under a fake name, a pseudonym, according to a brand new lawsuit.
We are going to encourage Americans to get their updated COVID-19 vaccine.
In addition, to their annual flu shot.
Let's not forget that is important for Americans to get.
Less than one week after the fiery crash north of Moscow, Russian authorities now confirming Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin was among those killed in the incident, as were members of his leadership team.
A faculty member at UNC Chapel Hill is dead after a shooting yesterday when a gunman opened fire in a science building at the university.
I have no money anymore.
I think Joe Biden should take his $700 and get back on the plane and go home.
That's what I think.
The $700 compared to all the millions is given to Ukraine.
That's why we don't understand why.
We're citizens and we cannot get money.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard today's edition of Human Events with Jack Posobiec live from Washington, D.C.
Today is August 29th, 2023.
Anno Domini.
Folks, they want to erase us.
They want to erase you.
They want to erase your family.
They want to erase your way of life, your culture, your traditions.
You have to understand the theory of the overstate.
And in the theory of the overstate, Modern America does not live under the constitutional republic.
And I think most people have understood this for a long time.
We live under the rule of the overstate, a merger of government power, corporate power, and academic authority.
The overstate wears the institutions of the republic as a skin suit.
To maintain control over the populace.
The Constitution, the Department of Justice, the FBI, these are all skin suits worn by this new merger of power.
Which isn't even all American, by the way.
This is why you can have The son of the Vice President working for the Chinese Communist Party and Ukrainian oligarchs, but a foreign citizen can't even buy campaign merchandise in the United States.
Not that I'm saying that I should, but I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of it all.
And then you have this guy who says he's the President, That nobody actually thinks is in charge.
Joe Biden should not be treated as if he is the actual president of the United States.
He's a voice.
He's a puppet.
He's a glove with a hand up the back.
Parroting whatever his teleprompters tell him to say.
Barack Obama in many ways was this as well.
And in this case, he's decided to take his break from his entire whirlwind of vacations to come out.
Is he talking about the people of Lahaina?
No.
Is he talking about the people that are about to get hit by a hurricane down in Florida?
No.
East Palestine?
No.
Is he going to talk about the rampant violence in our cities?
The people being killed in mass shootings every single day in our cities?
No, no, no, no, no.
He's going to tell you that white supremacy, white supremacy is the greatest threat facing our nation.
Why does the overstate need to do this?
Well, George Orwell explained it.
This is your two minutes hate.
Every once in a while, when things become so bad, when things get so out of control, when things get so insane, When they can sense that the entire system is crumbling around them, you must return to another two minutes of hate.
It's white supremacy.
White supremacy is to cause for this.
White supremacy is to cause for the fentanyl zombies of Kensington.
White supremacy is to cause for the failure of the United States military around the world.
White supremacy is the cause for the fact that your dollar is taxed and inflated out of all compensation.
White supremacy is the cause that your kids can't read.
White supremacy is the cause that you can't go downtown without worrying about dodging bullets in any major American city.
White supremacy is the cause for all of it.
The overstate has found its enemy.
And just like the Bolsheviks, the overstate We'll abuse and use this enemy to continue to demonize, scapegoat, and lash out as the situation gets worse before it ever gets better.
We're going to talk to someone who understands about how to make the situation better.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Kevin Sorbo joins us here on Human Events.
Kevin, thanks for taking time today.
I'm glad.
It's really good to be here.
I'm a fan, as you know, so there you go.
Well, I appreciate it.
I appreciate that.
I have to.
But when you look at what's going on, look, I say, people say that Poso's Twitter is a little bit spicy, but I say, man, have you guys seen how Sorbo drives the other side completely insane?
I gotta ask you this, and this was totally not on our schedule.
Why do you think it is that of all people, that you drive them so incredibly nuts?
Is it just because you're completely off the reservation?
What is it?
I, you know, it's interesting.
I mean, Facebook took me down two and a half years ago for posting a truth about COVID.
And all I was really doing was posting all these thousands of doctors' other point of view.
But, you know, you realize with the mainstream media and the lefties, you can't have another point of view, like climate change.
It's only one thing.
It's the end of the world.
You can't listen to all your scientists that say the opposite.
It's the same thing.
With what I'm doing out there, and I'm just going after the truth out there, and they hate the truth.
Truth is kryptonite to the left, but I'm going to keep doing it.
They're very easy to trigger.
These are very unhappy, sad people.
I'm sure if I did a documentary on them, there's certainly a number of common denominators with each one of these people, but these are angry, lonely, unsuccessful people that have had, you know, one failure in their life, and that made them quit life altogether.
So, I'm here just to point out the truth, but they hate it.
And so when you look at some of these situations, too, though, when it's the orthodoxy, the climate change, COVID, whatever it is, they only allow, and I sound like a broken record saying this, but they only allow one school of thought.
But then along comes a voice like you, someone who's got a huge platform, huge renown, who's a huge star with the American people, has been in literally everything, and you're putting out the exact opposite.
What is it like, though, when this first starts happening, when you first sort of, you know, break free of this mind-meld that you're supposed to be in in Hollywood, do people come to you?
Do people come and say, Kevin, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, be careful, man, be careful?
Does that ever happen?
Do they try to, like, handle you, wrangle you back in?
You know, years ago, I'm not gonna name the names, these are conservative actors, they're really big-name actors, A-listers, that come up to me at the Emmys and things like that, and they would tell me, hey, You better slow it down a little bit.
I go, slow it down?
I said, I'm not, I don't post anger and hate like these guys do.
But you know, my manager and agent called me and this is already like about 10 years ago.
And as you just mentioned, it's like it's a one-way street.
They said, we can't work with you anymore.
We can't get studios interested in working with you because You're conservative and you're Christian, and apparently that is like being a double leper in the world of Hollywood, unfortunately.
And as you know, the hypocrisy shines through them every single day, just like it shines through the Biden administration.
Everything's a one-way street.
They scream for tolerance and freedom of speech, but it's only if you go by their rules and not anybody else's.
You know, we're a socialist country now.
We're well on our way to become a communist country.
I love when they say, well, they didn't do socialism right in other countries.
Oh, okay.
I keep saying, why are we wasting so much tax dollars sending millions to other countries that hate us?
Why don't we take the people that want to turn America into Venezuela?
Why don't we just ship them to Venezuela?
I say, there you go.
We'll get back to you in one year and see how things are going for you.
That's exactly right, and what they've done, and I was talking about it at the beginning of the show there, was that they've taken our system, and they'll use the institutions, and they'll wear them like a suit, almost like a skin suit, like a shapeshifter or something, maybe from one of your movies or shows, and they've got...
You know, they've got like, so, oh, I'm the FBI, I'm the DOJ, I'm the Pentagon, etc.
And it seems like, you know, this institution that we're familiar with, it's the Constitution, right?
It's a federal judge.
But then all of a sudden, the federal judge is instituting raids on pro-lifers.
You got the FBI going after somebody who's 75 years old, you've got... And then on this latest one, we have a judge saying that the primary schedule for the voting of the presidency of the United States Has no bearing whatsoever on her case and that we're going to treat this situation as if it's like anything else.
And she's taken Trump's trial.
This is the first trial, right?
There's four that we know of, at least.
Who knows how many there's going to be when this thing ends out.
And she said, no, we're actually going to schedule this thing right in the middle of the primary season.
Is there any other way we should be looking at this?
What's going on?
You know, it's just like I do.
I mean, these guys, they've been going after Trump since day one.
I mean, they're seven years of going after this guy.
And we all knew that the whole collusion thing with Russia was BS.
I mean, who does Putin fear?
He fears Trump.
He doesn't fear a Hillary Clinton.
He doesn't fear Biden.
So everything is just, you know, it's just camouflage.
It's to take away from the real issues of the world and go after Trump day in and day out.
They brainwash these people to go after the guy because he's a man.
He's a man's man.
I've got a book coming out in September called, it's called The Test of Lionhood and it's from Brave Books, the same company that worked with Kurt Cameron.
My book deals with masculinity and this whole thing about toxic masculinity.
I say embrace masculinity, let boys be boys and let girls be girls.
And Brave Books does a great job with this.
It's going to come out this week in September when it comes out.
I'll tell people right now, go to bravebooks.com.
They can sign up.
If you subscribe to the Freedom Island Book Club, you'll get a new book every single month with these guys.
Kirk Cameron's done one.
Bethany Hamilton's done one.
I did the movie on her life called Soul Surfer with Dennis Quaid.
It's a wonderful way to look at letting boys be boys and girls be girls.
And we're not doing that in today's world because the reality is I think if you eliminate the patriarchy, which we are doing right now, you're going to eliminate the human race eventually.
And Hollywood has done a great job of that, for example, with their sitcoms.
You look at sitcoms through the years.
They always portray the man.
He's kind of dumpy, kind of fat, a little overweight, out of shape.
Mom's kind of a babe.
And the teenage kids just make fun of dad.
So kids have grown up for decades watching this behavior and emulating it.
And they're just taking away the dad being an important part of the family.
And we know that having both mom and dad in life makes a big difference.
All you gotta do is look at the African American population with 80% being raised without a father.
Look at our inner cities and what's going on.
Take Chicago for instance, when you have 70, 80, 90 shootings every week, mostly black on black.
Where's the uproar over that?
I don't see the uproar over that.
Don't black lives matter?
I mean, it's crazy to me what we're doing right now.
And a book like this, The Test of Linehood, really is a story of this lion cub that's with his sister out in the woods.
She gets scratched by a very poisonous flower.
He can't get back to his family in time.
He's got to make a decision.
And it's his world now to become a man.
It takes all the things he learned from his father on how to take situations into his own hand in a positive way.
And it's great.
And I look at What Hollywood's doing, what mainstream media is doing, you got a confused generation of men and they're so easy to control, so easy to control.
And then you have a truth-seeking generation of men that Hollywood struggles with because they struggle with truth.
As you know, they struggle certainly with a guy like me that wants to put out movies that have love and hope and faith and redemption and laughter.
And my newest one, I gotta give a quick plug for it, is coming out in October called Miracle in East Texas.
True story set in 1930.
So, good place to go there.
SorboStudios.com.
SorboStudios.com.
You can get tickets for it right now.
Great PG family based on a true story set right in the heart of the Depression in 1930.
And I challenge people that want to get rid of oil.
If they really want to get rid of oil, then number one, they should get rid of their cell phone.
It's got oil in it.
They should get rid of their computer.
Get rid of their hairbrush.
People have no idea.
They think it's all about gas for their car.
They have no clue.
They have no clue.
No.
Oh, they have no clue.
That's, I mean, that's, that's amazing.
So we, we actually did, um, uh, so I have a Brave book.
Uh, we did, um, the Island of, mine's called the Island of Free Ice Cream.
And we were in like the first, yeah, yeah.
That's so we're for, um, Island of Free Ice Cream, but we've got, you know, the one thing with those books is that if you started it, cause now it's a subscription too.
So everybody needs to go.
If you have kids go to Brave Books.
Because they do the stickers and the island thing.
My kid, my five-year-old, he's got the stickers and he's just waiting to get all the rest of them filled in because they've got, you know, the plan for all the rest forward.
So he's got like, I don't know, I guess we're maybe a third of the way through it now.
And they'll usually send me because I have the subscription so whenever one comes out I get it.
And he loves the series because not only Yes!
I'm telling you, I can't wait.
I'm going to tell him as soon as I get home.
He's going to be so excited because it shows.
Each one has a great story.
Mine's basically about communism.
When people promise you something for free, it usually comes at a little bit of a cost.
So be careful who's out there offering something An offer that sounds too good to be true, as they say, but you're exactly right on Hollywood, on the ills of our country right now, and the fact that we've taken men, and specifically masculinity, and we've pushed it aside.
We've said men being assertive, using the word no, just simply going up and saying, no, you are not allowed to do that.
No, you're not allowed to behave like that.
Everything's become a committee.
Everyone's become, it's all become, Oh, I'm gonna, you know, tell your mom and dad, etc.
Nobody's supposed to deal with anything by themselves anymore.
No, you've taken away personal agency.
And without that teaching in our society, young boys will stay young boys.
They become children.
They never raise up to become men.
Stay tuned.
We'll be right back.
One more segment coming up.
Kevin Sorbo is just dropping truth bombs about Hollywood, climate, crime, you name it.
I don't even know if we can air any of this stuff, folks.
I don't know, they might have to take us off air with this interview because Kevin Sorbo is popping off!
Stay tuned, we'll be right back.
- These are influencers and they're friends of mine.
Jack Posobiec, where's Jack?
Jack, he's done a great job. - All right, Jack Posobiec here with Kevin Sorba.
We're going to keep this interview going for as long as they let us, folks, before they take this thing down because I don't know, we're getting comments in like crazy.
People saying, stop Kevin!
You can't do this!
People can't handle too much common sense at once these days, but that's what we're getting because that's what we need, alright?
We need more common sense, we need more truth-tellers, and we need folks—that's why you're seeing Hollywood big-name actors like Kevin Sorbo and everyone else that are coming out saying, enough is enough, because these goons running our country have absolutely gone too far.
One example of that, though, and I'd be remiss if I didn't ask you, Kevin, you know, You're in the industry, you're in the film industry, you're looking at the rise of the parallel economy, which I've seen you and your films and your work be such an indelible part of, whether it's God's Not Dead, Where It's Left Behind, which really laid the, I would say, laid the groundwork
For what we saw with Sound of Freedom coming out this year, has the parallel economy, specifically when it comes to film, has this reached an inflection point where people are so checked out of the mainstream Hollywood system that they're now willing to build their own streaming, build their own platforms, and then do everything completely going it on their own?
What are we seeing right now in the industry?
Well, I think the independent film has just exploded in the last 10, 12 years.
I mean, I've been part of this since 2010.
In fact, my first really you could call faith-based movie was called What If?
Same writers that did God's Not Dead.
In my book, What If?
is a far better movie.
But you know, when you have these two, $3 million budget movies, we don't have $100 million advertising budget to promote it.
It's got to come with word of mouth more than anything else.
And that's what happened with movies like God's Not Dead and my other movie, Let There Be Light.
We need people to support these movies, because Hollywood does these $300 million movies with a $100 million advertising budget.
How do you compete when they can be on every football game, every soap opera, promoting it over and over again?
So we need people to come out and be part of the fight, but it's picking up.
Trust me, every movie I've been doing, especially the last six, seven years, I get an actor, a set designer, a camera guy, whatever comes up to me, they take me over to like a corner of the room, like we're doing a drug deal in the back alley, and they look around like, hey man, thanks for being a voice for us.
And I go, well be a voice for yourself.
But see, they don't want what they're afraid.
What happened to me?
What happened to them?
I'm still making movies.
I'm just not getting called in to do Hollywood stuff anymore, which is fine.
They don't owe me anything, but I still love the industry.
I don't harbor the same anger they harbor towards someone's like my point of view.
But these are movies that that Hollywood used to do.
It used to be heroes were the heroes.
And now they've been celebrating just the opposite of everything.
It's just weird.
Disney's gonna take a billion-dollar loss this year and they don't seem to care.
If I'm a stockbroker, a stockholder in that company, I'd say, what are you doing?
And I actually heard somebody's either suing Target as a stockholder or it's Disney because Disney's gonna lose a billion dollars.
You look at Sound of Freedom.
It did better than Indiana Jones, the fourth installment of that movie.
And I saw that fourth installment of that movie, and it was tough to watch.
I mean, Indiana Jones is just a mere shadow of what he used to be.
And the whole thing is making the women all the amazing heroes of the world right now.
They're gonna do Barbie.
They're gonna do the new Snow White.
I don't think the Snow White's gonna do well, personally.
Everything I'm hearing about it, that thing's gonna bomb.
And I think they've had that actress come out now, and she's kind of going after people like you and me.
And it's like, well, wait a minute.
You know, why can't you come up with a more original idea?
Why do you have to change the original format of things?
I'm going to segway this a little bit, because you brought up this thing about white privilege, and there was this woman walking on a college campus, and she wasn't a white woman, it was a mixed-race woman, Japanese, and she had something else in her, I'm just guessing, but you can kind of tell, and she was asking women of all races and whatever, and saying, hey, what do you think about this white privilege thing and men and all that?
And they just went off.
And so she asked every one of them, so can you give me some examples of the privileges they have that you don't have?
And they looked at blank faces going, well, I can't think of anything right now, but they just do.
I got to go to class.
I'm late.
Where's the privilege?
Where's the, there's no privilege.
No, the privilege, the privilege is being in this country, having the rights.
The other one is when you ask them, by the way, they say, what rights do you not have?
What rights do you not have?
What rights do I have that you don't have?
And they'll sit there and say, and marriage used to be the one.
And you say, what about marriage?
You can get married.
Everyone has the right to get married.
No one is stopping you from this.
No one is stopping you from that.
But you know what they are stopping you from?
It's if you're going and you're deciding that if you're a man that you want to be a woman and then we're going to prevent you from going into female locker rooms and female gyms and all of this.
Which to me is interesting because And look, you've been in Hollywood and you lived through, you know, the Me Too era.
We saw what happened with Weinstein, etc.
How do you have the Me Too era, right, that goes through and suddenly every man in Hollywood has to think about, you know, what text did I send?
What party?
Did I say this?
Was I there?
Did I see this?
Etc.
Versus now, if you just claimed you're a woman, you're supposedly basically allowed to walk around wearing whatever or as little as you want.
There's a You know, there's a story out now where someone's being, I think it's a sorority deal, where someone's being forced in to live, literally live in with these girls, I think it's the University of Wyoming, and is just a man, hasn't had any surgery, anything like this, is just a full-on man.
So, how do you carry both of those together at the same time?
Here's the thing, we live in a world now, no matter, anybody can say anything about you or me, anything, and right away we're guilty.
Well they do, believe me, they do.
Even though it's 100% false, we live in a world that if they set on the internet, then we're gonna come after you.
There doesn't have to be proof of anything at all anymore, and that's the weird thing that we're allowing this to go on, because you can destroy people's careers with complete lies, and it comes always from the left.
How many times have we busted people Using racism as an excuse, or I got raped, and then you find out the story was totally fabricated, it comes out later.
And where's the left coming back and apologizing?
Look at COVID.
You look at all these people on MSNBC, CNN, saying, take the shot, you'll never get COVID again.
Oh, you got COVID.
Take a second shot.
Oh, wear three masks and take four more shots.
Oh, gosh, everybody's still getting COVID.
And now they're talking about it again, putting masks on people?
Are you kidding me?
How much lying has to go on from people like Bill Gates and Fauci?
Actually, I golf a lot, so my new F word on the golf course is not the other F word, it's Fauci, every time I have a bad shot.
But anyway, it's crazy what we're doing out there and the brainwashing people because it just goes on and on and on.
When are people going to say, enough is enough?
And it should be My Body, My Choice.
Why doesn't that count when it comes to people that talk about abortion?
Why doesn't it come My Body, My Choice when it comes to these four shots they're making us do?
Do you, do you believe, so we've seen this coming and I talked about it the other day in the show, we've seen this coming where suddenly they were, we were joking actually over the weekend, myself, Charlie Kirk, and we were saying, you know, you know, what if, what if they tried to cancel the election and they brought back COVID and we were saying, oh, that'd be hilarious because we were just kind of doing some scenarios thinking about what might happen.
This was, again, over the weekend.
Then, all of a sudden, we wake up Monday morning.
What do I see?
Time Magazine saying, too many elections.
We're voting too much.
The New York Times, you know, does democracy really work?
And then, the next thing, COVID is back.
The new strain is coming.
The new mutation, right?
At the same time, what's going down?
Oh, wait.
Pfizer is down, right?
The big pharma is down.
The stocks are all down because nobody's buying the product.
No forced product.
What?
Suddenly, boom.
COVID comes back at the exact same time.
Are we actually supposed to think that this is all happening at random?
What's your take?
No, it's on purpose, as you know.
All this stuff is planned out.
It's all planned out.
We knew this was coming.
I think there was something, maybe it was Fauci or somebody saying last year, oh it's coming back, there'll be a new string coming out very shortly.
He said it in 2017 or 2018 as well.
What I love about when I saw an earlier interview with Fauci, when somebody asked him about national immunity, and he said, well if you've already gone through the flu, you don't need a flu shot, you've built up national immunity.
But then everything changed.
It's all about money.
It's all about money, it's about control.
Government wants control of your life from cradle to grave.
That's why they're going after kids in public schools, starting right away at daycare centers and kindergarten all the way through.
And we've had now about three decades of that.
That's why we've got all these teachers now in their 20s, 30s, and early 40s that are completely brainwashed, and they don't teach what they've been taught to teach.
They go after people, and it's all political.
I never had teachers when I was in high school or even college that they taught my business classes or my economic class or math.
That's what they taught.
Nobody told me how to vote.
Nobody told me to believe in God or not believe in God.
They taught what they were supposed to teach.
It's a whole different world we're living in right now.
And that's why I'm going to go back to my book from Brave Books.
I mean, to me, the stronger the man... I was just going to say, that's just like your book.
That's exactly what your book is saying.
How can dads, specifically fathers in this country, stand up?
And look, I'm just going to say it.
I think men need to reassert themselves.
I really do.
I really do.
The stronger the man, the stronger the family, the stronger the community, the stronger the country.
It's as simple as that.
We need boys to become strong men, to lead their families, lead their communities as well.
And, you know, see the Bible calls for us to be providers, men to be providers.
That takes nothing away from the women whatsoever.
There's no difference in women's equality.
The thing is, women have simply a different role in the family than the man has.
And both those combined together, I think, will raise strong men and women.
But we're not doing that in today's world.
We're attacking masculinity.
We're saying that men should be the same as women, the women to be the same as men.
Because all the movies right now, the women are the ones who are kicking butt, right?
The men are just a bunch of wimps.
The whole Barbie movie, the whole thing you mentioned, but the whole premise of Barbie is that men are like these Ken dolls that we're supposed to be.
You know, we're just there, we're good looking, and we hang out and we do whatever.
But Barbie runs the world now.
And that's how it's supposed to be.
That was the message.
I was in Detroit yesterday.
I played in Mark Wahlberg's golf tournament.
And I love the fact and the stance he's taken.
He's a strong Christian.
He's a strong voice.
He got the heck out of Hollywood like I did.
He's living in Vegas now, brought his family out there.
And he's there to put on the good fight, to get rid of the woke Hollywood.
I think Taylor Kitsch is another actor that's doing the same thing.
And it's good to see people starting to wake up.
And I think more and more people are getting sick and tired of it.
The problem with the silent majority is a lot of them are still silent, but more and more waking up.
I'm here to wake up the lions.
The lions got to get out there and roar.
The sheep are going to be the sheep.
And they're going to let the government do whatever they want to control their lives.
And that's really sad to me.
But, uh, But people need to fight back because I think the biggest killer in America, even the world, is apathy.
Oh, well, what can I do?
I mean, the government every day takes an inch.
Well, you look at decades going by, they've taken miles and miles and miles.
We're losing so many freedoms right now.
We certainly don't have freedom of speech unless you speak the way they want you to speak.
You look at how horrible it is in Canada, and the stuff they're doing up there.
Australia, New Zealand, what they were doing.
I shot Hercules in New Zealand for seven years, and it's a completely different country than it was when I was there for seven years in the 90s.
We're coming up on a break.
Thank you so much again for being with us, Kevin.
God bless you.

I want to bring on now, it's been a minute since we've had him, it's Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer because there's been some doings transpiring over in Ukraine.
The situation now, there's the Wagner Group, the seeming death of Purgosian, a million theories there, but I'd love if we could, Tony, we need an update on this counteroffensive because I saw Or lack thereof, I should say, because I saw a post last night from Euromaidan Press, which is a very pro-Ukrainian site, that had a photograph of...
These seem to me like greybeards, like men in their 50s and 60s.
And the post read, Ukrainians in their 50s and 60s and beyond are serving the country and conducting combat missions against the Russians.
And I said, wait a minute, hold on, wait, you're sending the greybeards into combat?
I remember other times where other countries have been in that situation.
You know, is this like a volunteer thing or something worse going on?
Tony, what's your take on that?
Because to me, that seems like they're revealing a manpower issue.
They are.
Look, I'm 61 and I think I could hold my own and go back into combat, but I'd like to believe it's alright.
You don't want people my age who have not taken care of themselves showing up with all sorts of health problems on the front.
Trust me, I've had to deal with this in Afghanistan 20 years ago.
And, um, the bottom line is, uh, some have compared the current situation to late stages, World War II, Nazi Germany.
And again, I'm not comparing Ukraine to Nazis.
I'm just saying, I'm saying, if you look at the situation, uh, Zelensky announced that he's looking at a 300,000 man column.
Now, Jack, uh, they've been at war, uh, a long time now and the, the, the, their military aged Uh, males have all gone into combat and not done well.
And I'm, I'm, I'm not taking sides here.
I'm not pro-Russian.
I'm simply critical of the fact that you have a situation that is, uh, gotten to the point of where the side that the United States is saying they're trying to help, they haven't helped.
And it's desperate.
I think it's desperate to the point of where they're looking at going into some sort of a defensive posture.
And suffice to say, Jack, that means the offensive has failed.
And I think at this point, it's safe to say that the offensive has failed.
And what is worse, and this is why Zelensky is about to call up these 17 to 16 year olds and 45 to 65 year olds, because they have nobody left to man the defensive perimeter, which I think they're about to establish.
As they go into a defensive configuration, probably in September.
When this is, and I remember reading this, this stat, and I'm sure, I'm sure the, the, the army officer would know better than the Navy officer on this one, but I'll just, I'll run it by you with, with that context that, you know, if you look at German casualties in World War II, that they also ran into this same manpower issue.
And so something like, like almost 40% of their casualties took place in 1945.
Because to that point, that's when that's the German Home Army.
So now the Red Army has crossed over through has gotten through Poland, through Ukraine, the territory of Belarus at this point, is now crashing into Germany proper.
But at the same time, Well, that's part of why they're not doing well.
But the people's militias, right?
They were, it was mobilized, the people's militia, get the people's militia up there on the line.
But combat force is, combat power is more than just numbers, isn't it?
Well, that's part of why they're not doing well.
I mean, if you examine the fabric of their military, Jack, and to your point, the very end of World War II, you had a desperate race to defend the homeland by the Nazis.
I.
I've been saying that the best battle that you can kind of compare the current situation to is the Battle of Kursk.
Many of the themes of Kursk have played out.
And remember, Jack, if you go back and study July of 43, the Battle of Kursk was that last moment That the German Nazi army was on the offensive.
It ended after that and they were in the defensive posture.
So I think that's what I'm looking at here.
Someone who has studied this a day or two.
And to your point, I think there's clear indications that the folks who have to man the battlefronts are not going to go voluntarily.
This is you're going to have to have people sign basically recruited.
Uh, conscription is what's going to be required to be able to get folks together on this.
So I, I do believe that unfortunately for the current situation, uh, the likes of Victoria Newland, uh, Jake Sullivan, uh, Mark Milley, uh, they've given the advice, the most horrible advice and to your primary point, the reason it's not worked.
It's because there's no unity of command.
The two things you must have in a ground battle, and I'm speaking from experience, is unity of command.
That is to say, you must have the ability to turn and focus and concentrate all your forces at the same time.
They've never had that.
They've got two generals that are competing against each other.
You've got Zaluzhny, who's the overall commander, but focused on trying to get to Crimea, a bridge too far if there ever was one.
And you've got Serskiy focusing on Zaporizhzhia.
So you've got, he's a colonel general technically, he outranks Zaluzhny.
So you've got that internally going, and plus this tapestry of training that NATO's done.
They've taken the Ukrainian military and trained it all over the world.
And it sounds great, but that's woke goes to war.
It's like this just kind of disperse everybody and give them the best training that doesn't create unit cohesion.
And Jack, you know, from being in the Navy, I know from being in the army, if you don't have a ship that fights as a single entity, if you don't have a battalion or brigade that fights in a uniform effective manner, You're not going to win.
And so the combination of lack of concentration of forces, one needed, and the lack of actual training, which actually created unique cohesion, this is where it gets into the downfalls.
You know, if you've got a tanker in the US Army, it'll be 18 months from from the time that you enter boot camp to the time that you're actually deployable, or they'll at least even then that's that's the lowest possible rung of the guy who's in there, you know, and then you hear the same things, oh, we'll get the F-16s up.
Do they have any conception of the amount of supply and the amount of support staff and support infrastructure that you need to run a fighter squadron specifically for F-16s, which you know, certainly isn't the most sophisticated aircraft out there, but it is, by and large, extremely more sophisticated than the Soviet jets that they were using before.
And at the same time, you need to train people on those systems, train people on those computers, you need to make sure the computers link up, that just an entire level of strategy and infrastructure that I just don't know if it, and that's just physics, right?
That's just basic physics, right?
They say, it's numbers.
Yeah, it's numbers, it's numbers of resources, and the actual flash to bang of what it takes to create a weapon, to deploy that weapon, to put the weapon, the systems which support that weapon in place, that is, you know, Cradle to grave.
It's not a video game, folks.
It's not a video game.
It's not a video game.
Right.
I ordered the F-16s.
The F-16s have arrived, and now they just start flying on the... No, no, no.
I mean, be different.
But this... And by the way, this is what the Germans were saying at the end of World... The Wunderwaffe was just around the corner.
The super jets and turbo jets and this bomb and that bomb, and that'll save the war.
And this will save the... It's the same type of, I think, just faulty strategy.
And then you end up throwing your own population into that mall.
It's an aspirational strategy, Jack.
These people have aspirations, which cannot.
We'll be right back.
Tony Schaefer breaking truth on the ground in Ukraine.
I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
Jack Posobiec back live, Washington, D.C.
We're here speaking with Army Intelligence Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Tony Schaefer.
Tony, we've seen the news with Purgosian, Wagner.
I haven't had you on since then.
But I think the real question on everyone's mind is, Is Russia preparing to do something?
Because Putin doesn't... he seemed like he waited and bided his time, essentially, to take this shot, if that ends up being what it was.
Cleans him up, sacks a bunch of generals.
It seems to me like the Kremlin is up to something.
Is that right?
Do you think that they're on the precipice of enacting action?
Yeah, look, Putin actually visited the front.
Not well reported because the West doesn't want to report on what's going on there.
But no, Putin actually went to the front and got a briefing on something.
Nobody knows what it is, but it may be them getting ready to go back on the offensive.
So anytime, Jack, you know this from your military time.
Anytime a senior leader shows up somewhere in a military circumstance, something's about to happen.
So I think it's very clear that something's about to roll.
And regarding Purgosian.
Uh, look, uh, he, uh, Putin described him as a talented businessman who made mistakes.
Well, one of those mistakes was trusting Putin.
So I think it's self-evident that, uh, basically Putin was not going to let some knucklehead like Purgosian, who was a thug, they're both thugs, but you know, one thug's not going to let another get up on him.
Wagner was very popular.
Purgosian came out of the, The coup attempt or revolt, whatever you want to call it, very popular.
So it was just a matter of time before Putin did him in.
And yeah, I do believe Purgosian's dead.
And I do believe it was done two months to the day from the uprising or coup, whatever you want to call it, to send a message.
And of course, the more they have plausible deniability saying, oh, we didn't do it.
Putin did it.
I mean, it's just kind of it is what it is.
And you can take the man out of the Soviet Union.
You can't take the Soviet Union out of the man.
And I think Putin is still very much a Soviet at heart.
Well, and I think, you know, I've actually had somebody, I can't say who, but somebody pretty high up told me once, they said, you know, it feels like we were fighting the Soviet Union for so long during the Cold War that we kind of became them.
That by staring into the abyss for so long, the abyss stared back into us.
And if you go around Washington, D.C.
Well, the Democrat Party sure did, that's for sure.
Yeah, you go around Washington D.C.
and you look at the Intel community and you kind of wonder sometimes, is this the KGB?
Is this the way the GRU runs things?
So, let's pair the two then up.
So, Zielinski, right?
He's mobilizing seniors.
They've put a new lockdown on people leaving the country that I've noticed.
He also, and we actually had some guys on the ground from Real America's Voice were there, Who had met with some of Zelensky's advisors.
They told us to the day, even before the news broke, here on the show that Zelensky had fired all of his military recruiters.
So he sacked all of them throughout the districts and is hiring a whole new staff there.
They're bunkering down.
And so to your point, it feels like they're going into a defensive posture.
Does that mean that Russia is preparing for potentially a big move?
I think that is what the Putin visit to the front means, Jack.
The question is when.
Basically, I think the Russians have exhausted the Ukrainian offensive.
They just let them pound their energy uselessly into their three layers of defense.
So the question becomes, Do the Russians just simply accept partition?
Do they just take the regions they have and say, we're done?
Or do they do more to disable Ukraine, to make it more vulnerable?
That's the question.
I don't know what the answer is, but I know the Russians do have the potential.
Based on their current numbers, the numbers alone, Jack, again, I'm not pro-Russian.
I'm simply stating my professional opinion based on what I observe is that the Russians are going to be in the position to return to the offensive by October 1st.
And that offensive could see them going very quickly to any number of places within Ukraine because there's going to be no combat power left to prevent them from doing it on the Ukrainian side.
So, with that being the case, then, let's say you're the intel officer, you've got to go give your advice to the commanding officer.
What would your advice be?
Would your advice be to bunker down and try to fight it out, or would it be to pick up the phone?
Which side?
I mean, if the phone stops on Ukraine.
No, I'm serious!
I mean... Well, actually, no, let me ask you this question.
No, I get what you're saying, because the question is, does Russia at this point have any incentive to negotiate?
No, they don't.
I mean, they really don't.
Right now, the West has basically come together, NATO has come together and determined, Jack, this is great, they're projecting, they're going to tell the Russians that you need to, we'll give you the territory, territorial concessions for NATO accepting Ukraine into, basically trading the territory for Ukrainian membership in the NATO.
The Russians aren't going to accept that.
It's basically kind of what they're negotiating amongst themselves at NATO.
So no, Jack, there's a complete detachment between the diplomatic corps and the military advisors on the Ukrainian side from the reality they face regarding Russia.
And again, I'm not pro-Russian.
I am ashamed at the bad military advice given by Petraeus, Milley, and all these other knuckleheads are supposed to be military geniuses.
Tony, where can people go to follow you?
the mess that we now see before us.
It is bad.
And then we end up with good Ukrainian families, civilians, children caught in the middle.
Ukrainian families are taking you on the chin.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
Tony, where can people go to follow you?
Where can people go to get more information and access to your work?
Sure.
LondonCenter.org for London Center for Policy Research and ProjectSentinel.com.
The website's coming together very nicely.
You know, we're doing a lot of constitutional work looking at how we can return both the military and our intelligence community to constitutional oversight, which you and I both know we don't have that right now, but that's an aspiration we're seeking.
So thanks for having me, Jack.
Always great to join you.
God bless.
Appreciate your insights and analysis.
The briefing, as always.
Look, folks, we deal with some harrowing things here and there's a story that we've decided that we're not going to let go.
That's the story of Maui.
Well, it turns out there's some good information about Maui and specifically one group of children in Maui.
I'm going to leave this with you, ladies and gentlemen.
We're going out on it.
You have my permission, ladies and gentlemen, to lay ashore.
At a Lahaina Catholic school that burned to the ground, says every one of its students is alive and well.
But it took a while to make contact with all of the families, or Eddie Dowd spoke with the principal.
The school's principal tells me nearly two anxious weeks went by before the school confirmed all of its students survived the August 8th fire.
Answered prayer, really, if anything, because that whole week You know, we're out here, we're living in uncertainty and with lack of reception.
The return of communications and talking to teachers brought the confirmation that Sacred Heart School Principal Tonata Lolesio had been praying for.
All 220 of her students are safe and sound.
We were just waiting to hear from them to see if they were okay.
