We are in a fifth generational conflict.
For every lie they tell, we're going to get in their face and yell two truths.
This is Human Events with your host, Jack Posobiec.
North Korea has detained an American soldier.
There's a lot we do not know about the circumstances here.
Some reports suggesting that soldier crossed the military border between the North and South.
Have a private audience with former President Donald Trump.
that the American people were running out of bullets.
We're not making enough ammunition to arm our own troops or to arm our allies for a war of the future.
And yet these same people will continue to say that we can send more, more, more to Ukraine.
Have a private audience with former President Donald Trump.
He and I got a one-on-one together for the first time in years, and it was, frankly, great to see him.
You know, all that nonsense between us is under the bridge, and he could not have been more magnanimous Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hit the trail today amid a campaign shakeup, laying off about 10 staff members as he struggles to gain traction in the crowded GOP field.
Donald Trump posted on Truth Social, his fledgling social media site, to reveal this.
I'm paraphrasing.
He says he received a target letter from the Department of Justice, from Jack Smith's office, Sunday night, saying that he is indeed a target of the January 6th grand jury investigation.
The difference between being brought up on criminal charges and doing things like, for example, I think it was shown how he was in the White House and didn't do anything while things were going on.
He should have come out more forcefully.
Of course that.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard.
Today's edition of Human Events with Jack Pasoek.
Today is July 18th, 2023.
Anno Domini.
There you go, folks.
There you go.
President Trump has received a target letter.
Where have we heard this before?
Who could have predicted that they would be looking at an indictment for Trump over January 6th?
We've been telling you about this for months at this point.
We've brought Julie Kelly on to tell you about this and as I said, Turning point action over the weekend in West Palm Beach.
I will say here again The plan is not just to indict and convict Trump over January 6 in Washington DC That's just step one step two ladies and gentlemen is to take that conviction and then parade it around and In every single one of the 50 states where he is on the ballot and try to strike him from the ballot.
They're trying to strip him from the ballot.
They are preemptively meddling in our elections.
This is the two-track plan to stop Donald Trump from winning the presidency once again.
The first is to defeat him conventionally through the primary.
We've seen that has completely failed.
It's over.
It's done.
The primary has been over for a long time at this point.
Unconventionally.
This is unconventional warfare against the American people.
This is unconventional warfare against the National Populist Movement.
This is unconventional warfare against who we are as a nation.
We are not a republic anymore.
We are living through an era of regime politics, and the moment you understand that and accept that, Is the moment that you can understand where we are and what time it is.
You have to know what part of the movie you're in.
This is the part where it looks like they're gonna take out the good guy.
And if they do, strip him from the ballot.
I said it on stage over the weekend.
I'm not afraid to say it because it is not a... It's not what I want.
It's not what I desire.
But it's what I believe is the most likely outcome.
That if you strip Donald Trump from the ballot, it will blow this country apart.
It will tear this country apart at the seams.
1776 will commence.
This is the insanity that they are willing to go through just to prevent a guy from being able to stand in a legitimate, free, and fair election.
We've already seen how they threw all the rules out the window in 2020, in state after state, counting ballots that never should have been counted, and then they say Joe Biden's the winner.
And we say, what about all the rules you broke?
We don't care.
What about the laws that you broke?
We don't care.
Because Joe Biden has to be the winner.
Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin.
Do you understand?
And I'll just say it, folks.
Are you paying attention yet?
Well, we're paying attention.
We've been paying attention for a long time, and we've been calling their shots day in, day out, and that is why you listen to Human Events.
We've got a huge action-packed show for you today.
Gavin Wax of the New York YRs is coming up next.
After that, we've got Kirk Cameron.
Yes, Kirk Cameron himself will be joining Human Events today.
Very, very excited to have that for you, to bring him forward, because this is not just a political struggle.
It is a physical, spiritual, and cultural struggle.
Stay tuned.
Come back next.
When I'm working long hours, I'm always listening to Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
Let me walk you through what's going on here.
Folks, in a little notice report that came out from the Project on Government Oversight, the Project on Government Oversight, all the way back on November 15, 2022, it was called, The Constitution's Disqualification Clause Can Be Enforced Today.
It was by Liz Hempovich, David Janofsky, and Norman Eisen.
Who is Norman Eisen?
Do you remember that name?
Are you familiar with that name?
Yes, that's right.
Norm Eisen, the same guy who was part of fortifying our elections.
In 2020.
The elections that I just talked about.
The same Norm Eisen who was involved in color revolutions.
The same Norm Eisen who is stating now, and I've got a tweet from him up as well on this, where let's just see.
Hey Trump, you think you're just going to waltz onto primary ballots?
Think again.
The 14th amendment bars you.
And so he's got an article up from Just Security which then reaches back to this report The Constitution's disqualification clause can be enforced today.
What does that mean?
Let's go through.
He said, he talks about the attack on the Capitol complex, the attack, remember the, you know, the grave, grave and attack.
...on the Capitol Complex led to the first application of the disqualification clause contained in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment in more than a century.
Section 3, and I quote, prohibits public office holders who have taken an oath to support the U.S.
Constitution and then engage in insurrection or rebellion against the United States or who give aid or comfort to enemies of the United States from serving in public office.
The analysis in this report will build on the established collective understanding of Section 3 to guide contemporary application of the clause.
The report will specifically prescribe how the disqualification clause can currently be enforced against individuals involved in the January 6th attack.
Anyway, this is Norm Eisen speaking, so maybe I shouldn't read in my own voice.
To support and strengthen the existing legal procedures for enforcing the Disqualification Clause, we must recommend the Select Committee to investigate the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol Complex.
All right, let's cut to the chase.
Shall we?
Yes, we shall.
What does it say here?
relevant evidence it has uncovered implicating section three we further recommend that the final report blah blah blah blah blah blah blah all right let's cut to the chase shall we yes we shall what does it say here i'm gonna put that back so i'm not doing the the whole agent smith thing with my ifb what does it mean folks the fourth
The 14th Amendment, Section 3, specifically describes a case wherein if you were a member of an active rebellion against the United States, insurrection or rebellion, right there, insurrection or rebellion, insurrection or rebellion, Then you can no longer hold federal office in the United States.
Now the 14th Amendment was passed after the Civil War.
It was passed regarding Confederate officials and essentially after the Union won the war, they set it up so that those uh those congressmen or former because a lot of this this happened during the civil war where a lot of former congressmen a lot of former senators then went on to serve and in roles as officials of the Confederacy.
In fact, Jefferson Davis, I believe.
Yeah, Jefferson Davis was the United States Senator from Mississippi.
He was former congressman from Mississippi.
So it was targeting people like Jefferson Davis to state that they didn't want him to be able to further serve if he ran for re-election again in the United States Senate.
So this was essentially done for the defeated side in the war through that reconstruction process, which we'll probably also have to talk about because there's a whole lot of mess that got started during reconstruction.
But that's a story for another day, kids.
What we're talking about here is that they are now trying to apply this Norm Eisen, the same individual, who if you don't believe that Norm Eisen And Andrew Weissman and these guys are not working in lockstep with Jack Smith, then you've not been paying attention.
Here's the goal.
They want to trigger the 14th Amendment.
And then once this conviction happens, because folks, I'm going to cut to the chase.
I feel like a broken record here.
I say it all the time.
They are going To try to use this to strip President Trump off the ballot.
They're going to go and walk this conviction around because, look, I'm going to tell you, I've been here.
I've been covering every single trial in DC, whether it's Roger Stone, whether it's Steve Bannon, whether it's General Flynn, whether it's George Papadopoulos.
The DC juries do not care.
They are completely biased.
They are completely in the tank.
There is no such thing as the potential for a fair trial in, within the confines of the District of Columbia.
If you're a Republican or if you're even anywhere remotely associated with Trump, or if you are to the right of like Chairman Mao, right?
If you're, if you're to the right of Chairman Mao, then guess what?
You're going to be convicted over something like this.
If you're, if you are brought up on charges, period, full stop.
That's why they bring these charges where they do.
So, the whole point of the January 6th Committee was to essentially taint the jury pool to already believe that it was an insurrection.
Then, it was meant to taint jury pools all around the country because the DNC and legal challengers, they're going to do the same thing that Perkins Coie was doing all throughout 2020 to challenge the votes, to challenge the voting rules, to challenge the election rules, and they are going to walk around And say, how can you let this guy on the ballot because he has been convicted of seditious conspiracy?
That'll be the charge.
It'll be seditious conspiracy or something close to that.
And Julie Kelly has done a fantastic yeoman's work of walking us through how it is that these statements and texts and conversations can be completely misconstrued as to believe that there was actually a seditious conspiracy to overthrow the United States government.
Okay, do you get where I'm going with this?
And this is very important, so you need to pay attention to the next thing I tell you.
They are going to go to federal judges, and they're going to file these cases to knock Trump off the ballot.
They're going to try to do so in the primary, if they can get a conviction before the primaries are done.
If not, they are going to do it in the general.
And you don't have to take my word for it, because look, I've got the tweet right here, November 15, 2022.
I have the receipts.
Norm Eisen, hey Trump, you think you're just going to waltz onto primary ballots?
Think again.
The 14th Amendment bars you.
It says it right there.
He laid it out in plain view for everyone to see.
You can just go follow these people on Twitter and pull the receipts.
How does POJO able to put all this together?
It's this one simple trick called reading the words that they actually say.
So, this is the goal.
And this has also been the goal for a number, right?
A number of challengers to Trump that we've seen go on throughout there.
And go watch the Tucker interviews on Friday, right?
So many of those people disqualified themselves, as far as I'm concerned.
Disqualified themselves from office.
So many of them also are seeing their poll numbers plummet.
Just absolutely plummet.
Bottom of the basement.
14%?
10%?
Single digits?
You are flirting with single digits.
Why would you not drop out of the race?
And it's simple.
Because they believe, as we told you on this program and Richard Barris has told you on this program, that they are going around and they are telling donors that Trump won't be on the ballot.
That Trump will be knocked out of the race by something else.
And I'll tell you something right now.
If you think you're going to win a campaign that way, if you think that you're going to win a primary that way, number one, shame on you.
Number two, that will put such a bad taste in so many people's mouths because they will feel that you went along with this crooked government.
They will feel that you went along with this crooked persecution of a former president.
And they're not going to turn out for you.
You'll turn out a lot of people, but you won't turn out enough.
And you will end up with a Mitt Romney map.
I'm just stating it.
That's what's going to happen.
That's a simple fact.
So these electability arguments are ridiculous.
They're ridiculous because of that simple fact.
We tried this with McCain.
We tried this with Romney.
It was a complete and utter failure.
Donald J. Trump showed us a way to win back the Rust Belt, including Pennsylvania.
Okay?
And you fought him tooth and nail every step of the way ever since.
This is how you win.
I've never seen the Republican Party so upset about winning.
I never have.
And yet you're seeing those same establishment politicians, or people who are now siding with the establishment, go along and criticize Trump over J6, attack him over J6, go use the establishment line again and again and again.
And it's very simple.
This is being stated for the benefit of none of the voters.
It's about the donors.
It's about money.
Give us more money.
That's a reference.
So they primed the pump already by saying Trump's going to be knocked off the ballot.
Now they're bringing up January 6 again.
See, January 6 brought up the same day as there's legal challenges.
Why are those challengers bringing this up?
You ask?
Sure, they'll say, oh, I don't think Trump should be prosecuted over it.
But then again, you benefit from it, don't you?
Qui bono.
Qui bono.
Who benefits?
Well, certainly every campaign in the Republican primary other than Donald Trump's benefits, stands to benefit from this, don't they?
And so you would be behoovent to go along with what's happening.
The American people are not stupid.
They're busy.
Voters are busy, but they're not stupid.
They can see right through what you're doing.
They can see right through what you are siding with.
And you are virtue signaling for the enemy right now.
That's exactly what you're doing.
And as a campaign, as advisors, as just voters, as American citizens, you really need to look yourselves in the mirror and ask yourselves, what are we doing?
Is it worth it?
Is it worth it to tear the party apart?
Is it worth it to blow the country up?
over stripping this guy off the ballot?
Is that really what you want?
Is that really the best outcome?
Is that really what you got into politics for in the first place?
Or are you so obsessed with your quest of winning right now, that you cannot look at the long term implications of your actions?
Very simple question, a very, very simple question, but it's also a very real reality.
And so reality is smacking us all in the face right now.
And the question is, how are we going to respond to it?
That's my simple question.
Invitations open to anyone.
Come on the show, answer the questions.
- I encourage people to, if you're interested in foreign policy, you gotta follow Jack Masovic.
- Folks, I have a question.
Why are so many people buying emergency food right now?
Here's the answer.
As tensions continue to escalate, our fragile food supply chain will break again.
One shocking headline spreads panic-like wildfire, and grocery stores are empty within hours.
That means you really need a proper supply of emergency food on hand before disaster strikes.
Before.
You will breathe easier knowing that you can feed your family in a crisis.
By the same token, what happens if you get caught up in these travel issues that people are having this summer?
What happens if you get caught in your car?
You get stuck somewhere on a road trip?

Folks, when you dig deeper into what's actually happening here, go and look at the polls.
Go and look at the polls of this.
You don't need to be a Richard Barris to understand this.
New poll out.
University of New Hampshire.
Donald Trump, 37, Ron DeSantis, 23.
We also, you know, so you've got Scott, you've got Tim Scott, you've got Christie there, Tim Scott at eight.
He's going up, Chris Christie at six, he's going up five, but still another commanding lead.
The Ohio primary.
Trump is up 25.
Presidential election poll.
This one from, let's see here, Morning Consult.
Morning Consult is a very close tracker, not a Republican poll.
Morning Consult has Biden 43, Trump 41, Biden 43, DeSantis 39.
So Trump polling ahead of DeSantis there, neck and neck with Joe Biden though.
Another national poll.
This is from Morning Consult.
They've got Trump 55, DeSantis 20, Ramaswamy 8.
Got a chance to see Vivek Ramaswamy over the weekend at the Turning Point USA event.
And I gotta say, this was somebody who had a lot of just a real turning point action, I should say.
Sorry, Charlie.
Turning point action.
That there was a lot of momentum there.
There was a lot of momentum, and Tanya and I, Tanya Tay, the beautiful and lovely Tanya Tay and I, went to the Vivek After Party, which was held just across the street from the venue, and so a lot of people spilled out over there to go and see what he had to say, and it was an absolute bobscene.
I've not seen that level of We're seeing a rise, we're seeing momentum here, but we're also going to ask the question, where was this guy in 2020?
Where was he in 2016?
my questions and certainly have my considerations about Vivek's background.
And so this is something where I think a lot of people are still asking.
We're seeing a rise, we're seeing a momentum here, but we're also gonna ask the question, where was this guy in 2020?
Where was he in 2016?
Where was he during all this time?
And so it's a question that's for him to answer.
So I will tell you this, that Human Events is working to see if we can reach out to Vivek Ramaswamy and bring him on the program so we can ask him these very questions and give him the opportunity to respond.
And by the way, I will say that to anyone.
I will be respectful.
I'm not going to be dunking on you.
If you want to come on the program, we will always have you on and give you a fair chance to hear you out.
And I do have to say, though, that in terms of his comments on Ukraine, now this was partially began at the forum in Iowa, that I thought his comments were very good, were very strong.
And here's why.
Because he offered specifics.
He offered actual specifics on how the Ukraine war could be solved.
Now, it's a negotiating stance.
Now, that of course means it's an opening bid.
Now, at one point he said, Donbass, Crimea, they're going with Russia.
But then he turned to Russia and said, or said that he would turn to Russia and say, we want you to break up this military alliance with China.
That's a possibility, but it's going to be very hard for an American president to do that, because of course, what have we been spending the last five years doing?
Or really, and three years in specifics.
I should say three years doing, with the exception of the four years of Donald Trump, I guess.
But everything else beyond the Trump administration has been set up to drive Russia and China directly towards each other.
Now, if you're running foreign policy, if you are running The United States government what you should be attempting to do if you have three superpowers in the world you have three superpowers the United States Russia and China what your goal should be is to separate Russia and China from being joined at the hip and then potentially turn one against the other right now China is on the rise and so from a basic rapprochement perspective you
You would want to be able to look for ways that you could achieve that fine common ground with Russia, being the third country in that order, and then tilt them against China.
You would balance them against China.
And at the same time, you shouldn't demonize India, because India has been one of our closest partners, and India is the obvious choice to balance against China.
It is completely insane, and that's why our foreign policy establishment is completely retarded.
I'm sorry, but they are.
They just actually are.
They're doing everything they can to drive our enemies directly into each other's arms, and third, to drive our allies, OUR ALLIES, into the arms of the CCP.
Who they already don't like.
It's tremendous.
It's actually tremendous.
And then you have the same group, the BRICS nations, are now talking about introducing their own currency on the gold standard.
So anyway, that's beyond that.
President Trump was also asked about this.
And I've seen a lot of people claiming that he changed his position on it, but I think it's quite clear.
He said, how do you end this in 24 hours?
How do you end it in 24 hours?
Okay, it's very simple.
The United States government controls the flow of arms, munitions, personnel in some cases, and if you believe American boots, they aren't on the ground right now.
You didn't need Jack Teixeira, the Air National Guardsman, to tell us that there are American boots on the ground.
We know this.
Okay, we know this to be true.
But what's really going on is that the United States is embroiled in a proxy war using Ukraine as their fighting force against Russia.
We've never been told, it's never been explained to us why it is that attacking Russia is good for the United States.
We're just told to believe it.
We are told to accept it because there's no other purpose.
And Biden apparently this morning has, uh, you know, another 1.5 billion, because why not?
Mike Pence is probably very, very happy with that.
And Mike Pence, well, he said, well, it's not my concern, but no, that was taken out of context.
It's the things that are my concern, not the cities of my concern.
It's like Pence, you're the one running for president, buddy.
You're the one whose job it is to make sure that you are, that you come across coherently.
All right.
We've already got a president who's completely incoherent, Pence.
We don't need another one.
So Mike Pence, I'm sorry, folks.
I've got, hold on.
I see it here.
Breaking news.
It's with a heavy heart that I have to announce this.
That Mike Pence didn't just spend one night, no.
It says here that Mike Pence, we're hearing word, we're hearing word, we're hearing reports that Mike Pence didn't just spend one night in the punishment closet, he had to spend the entire weekend there after getting tuckered on the debate stage in Iowa.
Very sorry.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the former vice president.
In this trying time, in his time of troubles.
You know, when you're a politician, the main thing that you want to tell the voters, or the main, even just emotion that you want to express to them, is that I care about you.
That I care for you.
That I have some level of care for you, and that about your concerns, about your frustrations, whatever it may be.
And that if you work with me, I can help you to alleviate them.
That's it!
That is the single, basic, bedrock, fundamental premise of being a politician.
So make it feel like you care, right?
You know, Bill Clinton famously, you know, in one of the 1996 debates with Bob Dole said, no attack line is ever gonna put food in a hungry child's mouth.
You know, he's never gonna feed a hungry child, right?
It's ridiculous because, of course, Bob Dole was giving a perfect attack, but here you go, because this is something that Democrats have been much better at than Republicans for a long time.
It's making voters believe that they care.
And this is a huge problem across the Republican board with a lot of these establishment Republican politicians.
They're so wonky.
They're so nerdy, they're so dorky about different issues, they come across dorky about issues, that they don't simply show a little bit of emotion and say that they care about voters.
I hear you.
You can see RFK does this all the time, by the way.
He just simply sits with people, and he listens to their frustrations, and he says, we're gonna do something to fix that.
Okay?
It's so easy.
It's so easy.
The Democrats have been doing it for a generation.
The Republicans still haven't figured it out.
Well, there's one Republican who actually has figured it out.
His name's Donald Trump.
And this is why I think so many people in the working class were able to switch sides.
That's how we won the Rust Belt vote over.
So Trump answers the question about Ukraine.
So how are you going to do this?
He said, simple, I'll go to Zelensky and I'll say, I'm going to cut off the money stream.
Boom.
Then I'm going to go to Putin and I'm going to say, look, if you want this done in 24 hours, you can cut off the money stream or turn around and I will, I will bomb the Kremlin.
I'll bomb all those minarets.
He says it all the time.
So you threaten Putin.
So you threaten both of them at the same time and you get them to sit down with the deal.
It's very simple.
It's very, very simple.
Two phone calls, right?
And what's interesting, I actually tweeted that he could solve this with two phone calls before I saw his interview with Morita Baroromo, where he essentially described how he would solve this with two phone calls.
How do I know this?
It's, again, not some special insight that I have, and I've never spoken to him about it directly, but it's simple because that's always been his style.
And we talked about this when Rick Grinnell came on.
That the Trump administration was known for its security policies, its peace plans and peace deals that were being done throughout the world.
You had Korea, North Korea, where apparently there's some soldier who crossed the border right now.
American soldier crosses the DMZ, based or cringe, we'll see.
But then we also saw in Israel, The Middle East, the Abraham Accords, defeating ISIS which led to the Abraham Accords, then vis-a-vis China where President Trump got himself involved, sent Rick Grenell down to the Balkans, so that's where you had the Serbia-Kosovo talks.
It's very simple.
You just have to make peace the priority.
Do we want peace or do we want more war?
Do we want to elect politicians?
And look, the most fascinating number that came out of that turning point action straw poll that Charlie Kerr conducted.
Opposition to U.S.
involvement in the Ukraine war actually pulled higher than Donald Trump did at that event.
Think about that.
Opposition to U.S.
involvement in the Ukraine war actually pulled higher than Donald Trump.
Not a lot higher.
It was 85-93.
But that being said, that's an eight point delta higher.
Something like 93%, maybe even 96%.
I'll have to double check.
Over 90%.
Do They understand that the Republican base has totally shifted on this.
Folks, talking about shifts, we want to get into cultural shifts, and that's why next, coming up here at Human Events, the great Kirk Cameron joins us.
Stop buzzing in my ear about the boring people at your office.
I'm trying to listen to the new Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
Folks, let me tell you something.
When you're going out and you're sourcing food, and people are asking so much lately, is this natural?
Is this organic?
Is this grass-fed?
Is this GMO?
Et cetera, et cetera.
Look, we're all trying to find out where our food comes from.
And what's great is that there's a company called Moink that Human Events has partnered with that tells you exactly where it comes from.
Moink Food and Moink their meat, it's sourced from small family farms all across the country.
You can help save those family farms.
And by the way, get access to the highest quality meats on Earth, When you join, they call it the Moink Movement today.
Moink is delivering grass-fed and grass-finished beef, lamb, pastured pork and chicken, and sustainable wild-caught Alaskan salmon straight to your door.
One of my favorite parts of being part of the Moink family is that I get to choose exactly what gets delivered in every single box.
So we get one a month.
Rib-eyes, chicken breast, pork chops, salmon fillets, and the best bacon.
I'm sorry, look, the bacon comes.
I'm like, kids, you can get a little bit.
Tanya, you can get a little bit.
It's all mine.

Thank you for having me.
Producers, put that in the lineup!
Put that in the lineup!
We're getting over by Kirk Cameron, the celebrity endorsements.
We need it.
Well, Kirk, so you and I, for people who don't know the story, we first met because we were doing with the Brave Books and we had the DC library event down there a couple of months ago, which was exactly during the Transgender Day of Rage.
Do you remember that and everything they did to try to shut down our event?
Yes, and understandably, there were a lot of moms who didn't want to bring their children there, but there were some brave dads and moms who drove in.
Some of them were my friends from Virginia that came, and we had a great time.
And man, you're a great storyteller!
I love the way that you read that book of yours.
It was fantastic!
They did a write-up of that in one of these lefty publications, I think it may have been The Guardian, and they were talking about how they were terrified that children would be near Jack Posobiec and Kurt Cabran as they were making fun of, you know, communists.
All these all this crazy stuff.
And I said, you know, I have a couple of kids, you know, I tell stories every night.
This is this is what we do.
It's like it's like they want to think of us as cartoon characters.
They don't actually think of us as regular people, regular dads who have families that actually do this pretty much every day.
That's right.
When when you can't attack the book itself, you want to attack the book reader.
You want to have these ad hominem arguments.
You want to create these arguments that scare people away from the person, even though the book that you're reading is absolutely fantastic and is a reflection of what's in our minds and in our hearts anyway.
Things like kindness, truth, justice, self-control, faith, and peace.
That's exactly right.
Now, so tell me, what is the latest?
Because, you know, I've seen some of these headlines, I've read into it, but I wanted to get it straight from you.
What is the latest in terms of the fight to shut down specifically your book and how you are fighting back?
Break it down for us.
Well, this began last Christmas where I wrote a book called As You Grow, teaching kids about the value of biblical wisdom and learning the fruit of the Spirit, love, kindness.
And now my new book is out called Pride Comes Before the Fall.
It released June 1st, the first day of the so-called Pride Month, and it teaches kids the value of humility, that pride is not a good thing.
In fact, pride is the deadliest of the seven deadly sins.
I call it the pregnant mother that gives birth to every form of evil.
And we want kids to be humble and kind.
So that book came out and we went to San Francisco and then Seattle, Washington, and we were welcomed by the public library in Seattle.
Also, we had some protesters there.
And this is really bringing That's pretty good.
to the culture war that we have been in for a while that many are just waking up to that you've been telling us about for a while.
And there's a guy with a great sign.
Kirk, you're growing into a real pain.
I gotta give him an A for arts and crafts. - That's pretty good, you gotta admit.
That's pretty good. - You gotta admit, I mean, I wanted to hang out and go have a beer with that guy or something and have him actually read my book.
He probably would have liked it. - That's actually hilarious.
Yeah, I always say, I don't, it's like, I don't always agree with the protesters, but if they're clever, I'll give you some credit.
Let's go!
Let's give you a high five!
And you know, I would like to just point out that while I don't high-five the ideas of the trans movement or a lot of the leftist movements, What we can do is we can say, you know what?
They're leading by example.
Here we are as conservatives.
Here we are as constitutionalists.
Here we are people who love the values of Western civilization.
However, we've done a very poor job.
We have a very poor ground game and we have for decades.
And if you look at a small minority group of people and look at how they have been salt and light Yes.
of salt and light in a culture to transform it.
Yes.
They're getting out of their little huddles and they're, you know, not just staying in the gay bars, they're going into public schools, libraries, education, business, tech, government, everything else, and then redefining marriage and family.
Hey, folks, that's what we should have been doing for the last 50 years.
And because of our neglect, we now have a mess on our hands.
I couldn't agree more.
You know, by the way, that's the, that's the tagline.
My friend, Dr. Taylor Marshall uses that on his show.
He says, you know, Christ told us to be the salt and the light.
So go out there and be salty.
Go out there and be salty.
Go out there and be adding to life, adding to the culture.
And I think that's what you're, I mean, we're both great books, authors.
You know, you've got two though.
I've only done the one.
So I've been slacking.
You're putting me to shame over here.
But what are you doing now to fight back against this effort to really shut down not only your book, but actually the book tour itself?
Jack, it's amazing because everything has escalated.
First, we had some grumpy librarians who didn't want us to come and talk about peace, love, joy, and faith.
But now we have the ALA itself trying to block access for us as authors and families from coming to their own public libraries to read any book of Christian virtue or any book at all.
This is the American Library Association, whose president is a self-avowed lesbian Marxist, being Marxist and her director of the Office of Intellectual Freedom went on a national virtual conference and instructed librarians everywhere on how they can deny access to, quote, the Kirk Cameron thing and how to invent programming so that the day's programming the Kirk Cameron thing and how to invent programming so that the day's programming for the reading room is all filled up on August 5th, the day
And guess what?
We We sent a letter to the U.S.
government calling for an investigation because this is an organization that's getting public grants from the government to instruct public libraries, and parents are furious.
And the good news is, if I can use the Lord of the Rings metaphor, the message has gone out to the Shire and all the hobbits are gathering for an unforgettable battle against the orcs on August 5th.
It's called See You at the Library, where families are adopting their local public libraries and reading a story of virtue to their children.
Go to BraveBooks.com and sign up for See You at the Library and join hundreds of families all across the nation in hundreds of libraries already signed up.
I mean, I look at this and we say the American Library Association, you would think, and people remember the libraries from when we were kids, you know, you went there and look, I remember going to libraries as one of the first places that I was able to discover, really the joy of reading, sure, but also the joy of learning.
That walking through those aisles and you never knowing what's coming around the next bend, Yeah.
Well we sure didn't.
use a book it blew my mind having those experiences and now what we're doing is we're when you walk into a library the very first thing you see it's that table right and everybody knows that table it's the same one that's in barnes and noble books a million has it sometimes too but books million not as much as barnes noble where it's it's gender it's ideology it's liberalism and in the kids section
they've always got uh these books and it's either written by an obama or a uh a biden or you know one of these other groups or clinton right it's It's always the same people and then you find these children's books where it's talking about the story of Kamala Harris.
It's like, What?
Really?
We're going to do that for kids all of a sudden?
It's amazing.
So, Kurt, we've got a break coming up here.
I'd love to hold you over if we could, if you have a second, because I think there's so much more people need to understand about the cultural fight that's going on in the United States and your own unique position in having waged that war for so long.
As Human Events continues, bombshell interview, we're fighting back.
When I grew up in the hood, I rolled with Bloods, and them boys had a saying.
You can't be listening to all that slappy-whack-trimatizolitsabam-ship-nippy-bam-bam like Human Events with Jack Posobiec.
All right, we're back here at Human Events.
Kirk Cameron joins us.
He's got the event, the Takeover at CU at the Library event.
It's a library takeover going on on August 5th.
Now, Kirk, do you know, we were talking a little bit during the break, do you know specifically where you will personally be on August 5th, if that's something you're at liberty to discuss publicly?
Yeah, we're locking that in right now, but just to be clear, there will be hundreds and hundreds of libraries simultaneously across the nation, hosted by parents and grandparents, reading books of virtue for the See You at the Library event.
And I think I'm going to be in Tennessee, if you remember.
A couple months back we had an event at a library in Tennessee where the librarian was so disgruntled and disorderly he tried to cancel the event at the last minute and then was making so much noise it was disrupting everything that the community and the board got together along with the mayor and they actually fired him and replaced him with somebody else and then the mayor wrote us a letter and said we would love to have you back we are all about So, let me get a sense of this, because I don't remember librarians being like this a generation ago.
What do you think happened that made them so politicized?
Let me get a sense of this, because I don't remember librarians being like this a generation ago.
What do you think happened that made them so politicized?
What is it?
You know, I think it's been a slow preparation and build up for the fulfillment of the times, which is right now.
And I'm not talking about a revelation, apocalyptic kind of thing.
I'm saying that the groundwork had to be laid, and now it's time to... Which you are known for!
You are known for that, Kirk!
Yeah, that's right.
But that's a much longer conversation.
And I think what we're seeing now, it's go time.
And you've got the director of the American Library Association or president, whatever her position is, who is an avowed and publicly openly lesbian Marxist.
And if you we know about Marxism, that is diametrically opposed to the idea of Western civilization and a constitutional biblical republic like we have.
And so that's trickling down everywhere.
It's shocking.
You said something earlier and it just made me think, just to frame the whole thing, you talked about the magic of libraries when we were kids and we would go in there and we should have been tipped off by the Dewey Decimal System.
I didn't know it, but John Dewey, there you have a Marxist right there, and he's organizing all the books.
But even then, we could go around the corner and we didn't know, we'd read a book, And we would learn something that would blow our minds.
And now, everyone, your kids go into the library, they turn the corner and they read a book and learn how to blow something else.
With graphic detail laid out there on the pages for them.
So this is what has to be said.
Apparently, Barack Obama is wanting to defend and says, these are the kinds of books that shaped his life as a young man, a community organizer, and as a congressperson.
And these are the ones that he wants to defend.
So what do we say about this other than this is the war, we are in it, and we have to wake up.
If not, we're sitting ducks.
Who don't see the wolves that are staring at us.
And even if we do, are we gonna know how to fight?
Are we gonna know how to get away from the situation and get back to original first principles?
Because the goal, of course, is very obvious.
They're targeting the children to be able to say, so that when the kids come home, they say, Mom and Dad, you're wrong.
And what the priest, what the pastor is saying on Sunday, they're wrong.
I learned in school, I learned in the library that they're wrong.
So the idea, and you see this, by the way, if you've studied communism, if you've studied revolutionary movements, this is always what they do.
They pit the kids against Jack, you're so sharp.
You're so smart.
I'm so thankful for you and that you're getting this information out to all of us and teaching us these things.
is the disruption that allows them to attain power by destroying the original system.
Jack, you're so sharp.
You're so smart.
I'm so thankful for you and that you're giving this information out to all of us and teaching us these things.
I was reading a little bit from Mao Zedong's Little Red Book.
And you go back and whether it's Mao or whether it's Hitler or whoever, you understand that their whole goal is to do exactly what you said.
In order to reorganize society on a different foundational premise, you've got to disorganize the first premise.
You've got to deconstruct it, and that's what they're doing.
And the easiest people to do that with, the most vulnerable, the most susceptible to deception, are who?
They're your kids!
They believe the moon is made of cheese, and they can believe that America is based on white supremacy, and all of these things that are not true, because they're kids.
That also tells us the solution.
One thing, if we did one thing, we would just unplug the progressive machine, If every parent said, I'm no longer going to pay to send my children to the government indoctrination camp called public school.
The public school has become the secular state's orthodox church and they are brainwashing your children.
You're sacrificing their hearts and minds on the altar of wokeness.
And you will not get them back if you leave them there.
Barring a miracle.
So take back your responsibility and stop outsourcing parenting to a Marxist government.
That's exactly right.
And kids these days, they're getting hit with it left and right.
Whether it's on YouTube, whether it's on social media, whether it's in the schools, whether it's in the libraries, you need to be taking an active role that is beyond just what they're reading.
You have to be an active parent.
We can't have the latchkey generation again.
It doesn't work.
Kurt, where can people go to get more information about this?
Where can they join the movement?
And thank you, by the way, for leading this and leading this charge.
Seriously, thank you.
Oh, it's my honor to do this and to talk with you, Jack.
I have two takeaways.
They're both at Brave Books.
Please go to Brave Books and sign up for See You at the Library.
We want hundreds of these libraries adopted by you, and then you read a book of your choice to your children and the children in your life.
Could be any book that you want.
My book, Jack's book, anybody's book.
And then, secondly, understand that Brave Books is the one that's putting this whole movement on.
And one thing you could do to support them is to join their Book of the Month Club, which will be an investment in your kids' faith and morality, and send a new book to their front door every month with a pro-God, pro-America value.
Just go to BraveBooks.com, Book of the Month Club, and see you at the library.
See you at the library.
I love it.
Kirk Cameron, everybody, thank you so much for your time, sir.
Thank you so much for your words, your effort, your work, your energy, everything that you're doing, not only for yourself, but for the children and the next generation.
That is what it's all about, folks.
I thank God for you, Jack.
Have a great day.
Take care, Kirk.
Look, folks, this is what it's all about.
Go to Brave Books.
I'm up there.
By the way, full disclosure, right?
Not only do I have my own book, we read the books to our kids over at Brave Books.
I think I've read every single one at this point.
I'm not sure because they keep loading new ones.
And then every couple of weeks in the mail, we get another one out.
The story, there is like an overarching story to the whole thing, but you don't need to read every book to get that.
It's more of like, you know, it's more like a shared universe concept.
So you'll see little references here and there in between the books, but I really encourage everyone to get out there.
Look, if we want to win the culture war, you have to fight back with culture.
