But they're now asking him to intervene, which is great because that one guy is the guy that can get the job done.
And Iranians, at the same time, while this is going on, it's tragic.
The number keeps climbing.
You have the low number being reported by the government saying 3,500.
You have the high number by the people on the street saying 30, 50K.
Regardless, the internet's been down since January 8th.
And they're claiming that the internet's going to be down till Eida Nouruz, New Year's, for Iranians, which is, I think, two more months.
They want to keep the internet down if you guys are not tracking this.
And then aside from that, while you're going through this in Minnesota, the videos are insane with the protesting in Minnesota.
We were just talking about it earlier this morning with Elon and Vinny and I, that it looks like it is moments away from massive disease one event.
You know, the whole campaign would be good.
And the lady that got shot, unfortunately, of course, you don't want to see anybody getting killed.
And that's a very, very unfortunate situation.
But it looks like they're pushing for more, almost as if they are not happy with what happened.
They want something bigger.
And ICE, I don't know how many officers they send, Rob.
I saw a report, 3,000.
I saw one, 15,000 that they're sending to Minnesota.

If Don is trying to get everybody on, you know, people that are going to church to not like him, he's on track.
He's doing a great job.
But it looks like from some of the stories that came out, there may be some issues with that if anything does end up happening.
And then Trump announces tariffs on Denmark and seven other European Union nations over opposition to acquiring Greenland.
And those guys are now sending it back, which is a pretty big story of what's going on here.
Wall Street Journal apparently tried to do a hit piece on Trump, and they said Trump is not good for this.

And then they run a poll on who Americans trust more for the economy, for inflation, for protection.
Everything came out.
They trusted Republicans more than they trusted Democrats.
So hit piece ended up becoming an endorsement.
So I guess Trump is probably saying thank you, Wall Street Journal, no matter where he's at.
And apparently Trump was having dinner last night.
Tom was talking about a steak and potatoes, and he wasn't too happy about it.

This pastor is there minding his own business, doing his thing.
And all of a sudden, everybody sees this clip going viral.

And the clip is of Don Lemon with this pastor.
And the pastor's like, what are you doing?
Like, let us do our thing.
Just watch this clip to kind of get an idea what's going on here.

This is at a church, I believe, in Minneapolis, right?
Yes, it's in St. Paul.
From what I found, the church is in St. Paul.
The pastor that is at the church also works for the local ICE organization, and that is why the protesters showed up to protest his church service.
But apparently, what they violated was called the FACE Act, which prohibits you stopping people in a house of worship.
And that's punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Well, okay.
I know from time to time I speak about evil on this podcast, and I want people to know I'm not doing it out of repetitiveness.
I'm not doing it because I have a lack of content.
I just want to show people over and over what we're dealing with.
Ephesians chapter 6, verse 12, it talks about not flesh and blood, but about evil people.

I honestly think Minnesota is cursed.

It infuriates me because if Democrats were in charge, every single person in Minnesota would be in jail right now.
From the mayor to the governor to the protesters, anybody involved with this tomfoolery would have been freaking locked up, but it's Republicans, okay?
They just bark and Democrats bite.
It drives me crazy.

Well, I'll tell you where I'm at.
Not to be repetitive.
We can go back to right after 9-11.
And in New York City, conservatives and Americans were warned not to block the mosques that were in New York, that the FACE Act would be, you would be violating the FACE Act and you would be prosecuted.
You can have a protest in the park with a permit against Islam, radical Islam, but what you can't do is get on the sidewalk in front of the mosque and make a large mob, even if you're just standing there peacefully, and prevent them from having access to their house of worship.
I'm not defending Islam.
I'm telling you, this is what the FACE Act does.
And if the Assistant Attorney General, and that's what I want to focus on, if you're really going to put a tweet up to get people like me or Vinny or people that are appalled by this to, oh, great, you know, the Attorney General's office has responded to it.
No, what are you doing?
Don Lemon was there as a facilitator.
He wasn't with the organized group that we see, but he was facilitating it.
He was coming in there.
He was waving.
And so he was actively part of it.
So I believe that Don Lemon was an accessory to the violation of the FACE Act.
And I think Don Lemon and the people who are there, the ones that organized it, should be prosecuted.
Because do you think today that if a group of conservatives did this at a mosque, that there would be prosecutions in five seconds?

So why isn't there a prosecution against the organizers?
And then Don Lemon, sorry, dude, you trespassed.

You can protest at any time.
That's the whole point of it, is to disrupt, to make uncomfortable.

You have to make people uncomfortable in these times.

There is nothing, there is nothing, and I've thought about this many times that would push me to go harass an innocent person who is just trying to worship, regardless of anything else.
There is nothing that would get me into a mosque to go harass a random Muslim who is trying to worship, just like there's nothing that could get me to do it for a Christian or Jew.
But the left does not live by those standards.
They will take action.
They will do whatever they can to push you.
And then the second anything happens in return, they have their martyr.

Because an average person looks at the chaos and they go, well, I don't know about this.
Trump should be the law and order candidate who diffuses the chaos.

Trump needs to get a hold of this just like he sent the National Guard to DC to clean up a lot of different cities.
They need to clean this up without killing people.

70 of them have committed or have charges against them on violent crimes and crimes that they are charged with or been convicted of that have come from other countries that are here illegally, first of all, and then they have committed a criminal act while they've been here, or in their own countries as well.

This is a political story.
Pleaded Friday with Trump to follow through on his promise to strike the Islamic Republic.
Republic, the U.S. should conduct a surgical strike on the Iranian regime, parliamentary, paramilitary assets to weaken the Iran's government and its ability to crack down protesters.
Pallavi told reporters in Washington where he's made the rounds in recent days to garner support and position himself as the person to lead a transition in Iran should it fall.
Trump has been watching the protests closely and at first pledged it very strong, pledged very strong action should Iran execute protesters.
But Trump's immediate threat appears to have disappeared after Gulf Arab State and Israel have lobbied against military action at least right away.
President Trump did say if the regime were to hit the Iranian people hard, they will face serious consequences.

So when Trump told the Iranian people, look, I've got your back.
This goes back two weeks ago, right?
Exactly two weeks ago, he said, I've got your back.
And instead, he said, if you kill anybody, if you're going to be hard on these protesters, look out.
Here I come.
And then we're getting numbers out that people have died.
Thousands and thousands injured, critically injured.
And what Trump is saying, well, he didn't hang anybody yesterday.
They didn't do the hangings.
They were going to do 800 hangings or something like that.
They didn't do those.
And so that is a good thing.
And then he backed off.
Man, I'm old enough to remember Cuba and when JFK was supporting the Cuban rebels, supporting what was going to go.
And at the last minute, he pulled air support back, and it led to the Bay of Pigs for the poor Cuban freedom fighters.
And I worry that Trump, he's a leader, he's a driver, but I worry he's kind of in a place right now.
You pulled back on the attack.
A lot of people in the Middle East said, be careful.
Iran's irrational.
They may do something even crazier than normal.
Maybe we don't want to do this.
So I understand the lobbying he got from Israel and certain Arab states.
But there's also this angle.
He said he was going to be there, and now he's kind of pulled back.
And I worry that he's in a bit of a spot.
What do you think?

He says, I'm going to be behind you.
And now what he's saying is, well, nobody got hung yesterday.

I think he got convinced of that.

Yeah, to me, when I watch this and I think about what's going on, one is, you know, reports that came to him from the Middle East, even Turkey and some of these guys saying, listen, you guys, I don't want to, you may not want to attack yet.
Even Israel saying they're not ready yet to make the attack.

He trusts what some of that information is going to come in is Mossad giving him a report that, you know, maybe it's a different kind of a report.
He's got a guy on the inside, Lindsey Graham, that probably, how bad do you think Lindsey Graham wants to see an attack?
He was seeming so upset that he came out of what he's like, listen, I think we should have done he's a war hawk.

What good could they be cheering for?

Okay, so this is kind of interesting what's going on here.
Some people are confused with this, some like it.
Let me read it to you.
Israel's government is objecting to the White House announcement of leaders who will play a role in overseeing the next steps in Gaza as the ceasefire moves into its challenge and second phase.
The rare criticism from Israel of its close ally in Washington said Gaza executive committee was not coordinated with Israel and is contrary to its policy without details.
Saturday's statement also said Prime Minister Netanyahu has told the foreign minister to contact Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the committee announced by the White House on Friday included no Israeli officials, but as an Israeli businessman, billionaire, Yaquir Gabe, other members announced so far include two of U.S. President Trump's good friends, a former British prime minister, U.S. general, and a representative of several Middle Eastern governments.
The White House said the executive committee will carry out the vision of Trump-led Board of Peace, whose members have not yet been named.
The executive committee's members include Rubio, Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, ex-Prime Minister Tony Blair, Apollo Global Management CEO Mark Rowan, World Bank President Ajai Banga, Trump's Deputy National Security Director Advisor Robert Gabriel.

Number one, if you wanted proof that Israel and Zionists don't control the United States, they're definitely not getting what they want.
So from the start of this, I've always thought, what's the solution in Gaza?
And I've always believed that after this ends, you know, Israel gave back Gaza in 2005.
The goal was not to take it back again.
I think that fundamentally there has to be a proxy government set up.
I interviewed a Palestinian politician a while back, about a year ago, and he said something very interesting.
He said the war can be summed up, and the entire conflict can be summed up in two words, one word for each side.
On the Israeli side, it's security.
On the Palestinian side, it's autonomy.
In other words, they do have to have an opportunity to achieve autonomy, but it has to secure Israel.
It has to make Israel feel like they are safe because this is a perpetual cycle.
It's not going to come to an end.
Do I have problems with like Turkey being on the board?
Yes.
But do I believe that there has to be an opportunity for the Palestinian to have some form of self-determination where Israel isn't involved while maintaining security for Israel, the most fundamental part of it all?
Both sides get what they want long term.
There has to be an outcome where we're not in this continued perpetual cycle of violence and war.
It's just not helping stabilize the region at all.
So this is a functional approach.
Israel, to me, shouldn't be involved in that end of things.
And I honestly, I don't have that big a problem with it.

So I think that they're going to have a conversation and they'll work it out.
But Israel not being involved in who's running Gaza, I just don't see.

The Palestinians that live in Gaza, it was an experiment, a failed experiment, to show that when Palestinians are on their own and they vote for their own politicians and they try and have their own autonomy, that it fails.
That's why I'm not advocating for Palestinians to try and do it on their own.
I'm advocating for countries to step in and actually take control of the region.
And it will require re-education, integration.
But long term, there has to be a solution to this because we keep talking in circles about it.
But the notion, again, I'm going to agree with Adam here, the entire world is built up on colonialism, on conquering land, taking it.
The entire Middle East is built up on that.
So, the notion that Palestinians can continue to attack, not accept the, and the entire Israel conflict has become.
Now, when you talk to anyone, when it first started in 2023, let's say when this became very popular, you talked to people, they said, I accept Israel's right to exist.
I just want to see Palestinians safe.
I don't want to see this war continue.
Nowadays, almost everyone I talk to say, I don't believe Israel should have a right to exist.
That's not going to solve anything long term, just like it's not going to solve anything long term to say, let's get rid of every Palestinian.
I don't like that rhetoric either.
It's not a realistic solution.
This is probably the most realistic long-term solution to sustainable peace, re-education, and there is a pathway to it because we know that Palestinians in Israel will coexist and even fight for the Israeli army in certain cases.

And then people look at the sad tragedy that happens afterward.
You look back in the day where they were bombing school buses.
Everyone talks about apartheid.
They're setting up, you know, checkpoints.
They're setting up this.
This is unethical.
You can't enter the country.
You can't leave the country.
Why do those things exist?
Because they were going into Israel from the West Bank and literally bombing clubs where teenagers are.
They were bombing buses with vests on with nails on them.
So yes, there is a response to that.
But the world, unfortunately, and this is the saddest tragedy of all, holds the Palestinian to such a low standard that there is zero accountability on them.
Zero accountability to seek peace, zero accountability to not commit acts of terrorism.
And the end result is the perpetuated suffering of Palestinians because they become pawns in this, as opposed to holding them to a higher standard, saying you can be better than this.
You want peace, achieve it if you really do want peace.
Elect a government that's not a war-hungry terrorist government and speak out against it.
It's almost impossible now with Hamas there.
But that's the only pathway forward on their end.
And on Israel's end, they do have to create a pathway for autonomy and self-determination for the Palestinian people.
And enough, I hate the rhetoric.

Trump, who has demanded permission from Denmark to take control of Greenland on Saturday evening, vowed to impose 10% tariff by February 1st on goods from UK, Norway, and six EU countries that sent troops to the Arabic island for a military exercise this week.

So here's what's going on.
Greenland is strategically important.
The UK knows it.
Germany knows it.
Because if you go, and I'm going to mispronounce this, on the map, you go to Murmansk, which is up right on the other side of Finland, right on the other side.
That's where Russia has all of its nuclear subs, and that's where it deploys its subs to the Arctic, into Hudson Bay, into all kinds of places, which is strategically, really freaking important, right on the edge of Finland.
And if you then go just down the street a little bit, you end up and you find, oh, Iceland, Greenland, that is an important corridor.
Greenland last year, what was it called?
Operation Arctic Frost.
It was a military exercise that happened March of last year and October of last year.
There were two.
And they held these military exercises on the coast of Greenland.
Why?
So we can monitor Russian subs and we can monitor what Russia was doing up there.
Now that they've, you know, we've seen what war won't stop in the Ukraine.
And guess what?
The UK said this is a problem.
And Germany said this is a problem.
So NATO is saying, Pat, we have a problem here with security here by the Arctic.

So mortgage rates, lowest in three years.
A lot of people are talking about, man, I want something to go lower so I can refi.
The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate fell to 6.06% this year, down from 6.16.
Last week, according to her lowest level since September of 2022, a year ago, the 30-year fixed rate was at 7.04% higher.
The latest drop comes after Trump announced he was directing a government-sponsored mortgage giant to purchase $200 billion in mortgage bonds.
This will drive mortgage rates down, monthly payments down, and make the cost of owning a home more affordable.
We saw that, Tom.
How big of a deal is that?
Is that what's impacting it?
Yes.
They threw a lot of liquidity at it.
And the $200 billion that the president and Bill Pultey, Fannie Freddie, threw at this is going to make a difference.
And here's what is making a difference.
We had a lot of houses that changed hands 22, 23, and there were some high interest rates.
Now people could refi at basically 6%, 6.06%.
And if you pay one point, which is a little bit of a fee you would pay, you can get 5.875.
So you're down to 6.
And even in the fives, if you want to pay a little bit, that's a big deal for all the people that had those 7 and a quarters from a year ago or more.
So the refi mortgage is going to be working there.
However, is the supply of homes going up that quick just with the stroke of a pen the way you can do rates?
No.
Do we have people interested in selling their homes and getting out from under those lower rates?
No.
As a matter of fact, that part is actually getting worse.
People hanging on to mortgages, Pat, is getting worse because of the time it's taken the rates to go up.
And now it's taken a full year just to drop one point.
So the people with those threes, you know, the threes and fours, they're even less reluctant to sell right now because they're noticing, wow, the rates didn't go up and down like a roller coaster like they did in 2023.
Yikes.
So I better hang on to my three and four.
So more of them are hanging on.
Refis are going to be helped.
And you're seeing pockets of, regardless of rates, pockets of housing prices are coming down.
We've talked about it for a year.
Austin, Texas has really come down at 20% down.
You had the Gulf Coast in Florida where you had all the hurricane areas and the change in insurance rates.
Those have come down 15%, some areas 20%.
But for the wider housing market, we're not seeing the volume of home transactions move.
But this is definitely going to help people put more dollars in their pocket and reduce their monthly payments that bought those homes two years ago on a seven and a half.

So if you're in the market, you know, good for you.
My checklist is as follows.
You're going to need to be in that same neighborhood minimum seven to maybe 10 years.

If you don't have a family with kids and you're just a single person out there, you probably don't need to buy a house unless you're a real estate investor.
So long term, yes, of course it's good to buy.
