[00:01:01] From a speeding car down a beltway to the most surprising places that you'd never expect someone to have a baby, like a pizzeria or how about a zoo. [00:01:10] Let's take a look at the most unbelievable stories. [00:01:14] It's a race against time. [00:01:17] Following Leisha and John on their way to a Birthing center. [00:01:20] They're not alone. [00:01:22] When it comes to giving birth, the best laid plans sometimes go awry. [00:01:26] In theme parks, fast food restaurants, malls, and big box stores, elevators, and even airplanes, women have given birth in the craziest places. [00:01:36] One woman made it to the hospital, but not to her room, documented in these photos and video that went viral all over the internet. [00:01:44] Back in the car with Leisha, the clock's still ticking. [00:01:46] Now it's looking like Leisha might actually deliver on the highway. [00:01:50] Kamika and Justin's surprise delivery happened at an Omaha zoo. [00:01:53] I got halfway up the hill and my water broke. [00:01:56] I was like, her head, her head. [00:01:58] And he was like, he felt down there. [00:01:59] He was like, oh my God, she's having the baby. [00:02:01] And as for John and Leisha, turns out it was Mother Nature who was in the driver's seat. [00:02:07] Oh my goodness. [00:02:08] The mom who delivered that high speed birth is here in a daytime exclusive. [00:02:12] Leisha, I must say, I've never seen a birth anything close to that. [00:02:15] But before I get to the story, you're pregnant again. [00:02:18] Yes. [00:02:18] We could do it right now on set. [00:02:20] No. [00:02:20] We could retrain it. [00:02:22] Stay tuned at home. [00:02:23] It could happen right here. [00:02:24] So, what's it like watching that video again? [00:02:26] Does it remind you of what it felt like? [00:02:28] A little bit. [00:02:29] It was very scary for me. [00:02:31] I just was really glad he was safe. [00:02:34] I was pretty much in shock, but it just. [00:02:37] So, what actually happened? [00:02:38] Describe that. [00:02:39] I actually, you can't really see in the video, I reached around and I felt his head right there. [00:02:45] So, I was like, oh my word, he's out of me already. [00:02:50] So, I didn't really know what to do. [00:02:52] I was like, I got to push him out. [00:02:54] So. [00:02:55] It is. [00:02:56] So he consciously said, I feel his head. [00:02:58] He can't go back. [00:02:59] And you just bore down, you pushed. [00:03:02] And then. [00:03:02] And then just slid right out. [00:03:04] How'd you make sure you didn't drop him? [00:03:06] Actually, it was kind of. [00:03:08] My pants kind of caught his head. [00:03:10] Oh, yes, your pants are halfway down. [00:03:12] Yeah, because I didn't get them all the way down because I was like, okay, I'm going to do everything. [00:03:15] So I just. [00:03:18] I kind of was glad that his pants were there because it kind of cradled his head until he came on, until I could get a hold of him. [00:03:25] And so that was. [00:03:26] This could be a whole new way of giving birth. [00:03:30] To anyone who goes to the hospital from now on, don't take your pants all the way off. [00:03:34] It's a backup system. [00:03:35] It's a backup plan. [00:03:36] All right, so Josiah is now three years old, and he's here with his dad, Misha's husband, and the driver, John. [00:03:43] Come on out, Josiah and John. [00:03:56] John, how are you? [00:03:58] Can I have Josiah here? [00:03:59] Sure. [00:04:01] How are you, honey? [00:04:02] Say bye, mommy. [00:04:04] You don't remember any of that. [00:04:05] Say bye. [00:04:07] I'm going to come back to you in one second. [00:04:08] But, John, how were you able to record this thing? [00:04:10] So, you had that, you had it, was your phone? [00:04:12] What did you have there? [00:04:13] It was a little GoPro camera, and I tried a few places to set it up on the dash and stuff, and nothing really worked. [00:04:19] I was thinking, even though I kept telling her that we weren't going to have the baby in the car, as she kept on getting further and further into her labor, I was going, there's a possibility. [00:04:28] So, I took it and I set it next to my leg. [00:04:30] Put a couple fingers on it and drove like this, not looking at the camera. [00:04:35] Thank goodness. [00:04:37] All right, there's one other part about this story. [00:04:39] The fact that it really just blows my mind. [00:04:40] But when Josiah came out, you can sort of see in the video that he's a good sized child. [00:04:46] You want to share how big he was? [00:04:49] He was 10 pounds, three ounces. [00:04:51] Yeah. [00:04:52] Imagine giving birth to a 10 pound, three ounce in the highway. [00:04:57] And I got to say, for me, the best part wasn't even that. [00:05:01] The best part is what John said after. [00:05:04] Josiah came out. [00:05:05] Everyone, listen carefully to two very interesting comments that he makes. [00:05:08] Play the video, please. [00:05:10] Oh my gosh! [00:05:11] We just had a baby and we did it! [00:05:13] High five, babe. [00:05:14] I want a honey. [00:05:17] So, I wonder if we still have to pay for using the birth center. [00:05:20] I don't have a honey, baby. [00:05:27] I don't have a honey. [00:05:28] It tells the story perfectly. [00:05:30] Honey, we did it! [00:05:31] The royal we, you're screaming in pain with catching the baby, doing it all yourself. [00:05:36] And what's the wee Kimasabi? [00:05:38] What was that all about? [00:05:39] You know, I had a part in it too. [00:05:42] I got her there. [00:05:43] What'd you say? [00:05:45] Have you liked cars? [00:05:48] No. [00:05:48] You like cars, honey? [00:05:51] Yes. [00:05:51] A little bit? [00:05:52] Yeah. [00:05:53] I do like cars. [00:05:53] I got you a little Oz car. [00:05:56] Say thank you. [00:05:57] Thank you. [00:05:59] Say thank you. [00:05:59] You like that? [00:06:01] Yes. [00:06:03] Say thank you. [00:06:03] He's not as happy as you think. [00:06:06] So, really, what we got you, honey. [00:06:08] Was we got you your own car. [00:06:10] Oh my goodness. [00:06:11] Josiah is going to get to drive his own car. [00:06:15] Oh my goodness. [00:06:16] When you get home in your driveway, you're going to have this car. [00:06:19] And are you going to drive any of your siblings in it? [00:06:22] Yep. [00:06:23] You are? [00:06:24] Yep. [00:06:24] And drive like your father did, very carefully. [00:06:26] Thank you so much for being here. [00:06:27] I'm very proud of you. [00:06:28] Oh my goodness. [00:06:29] Thank you so much. [00:06:30] Up next, the wackiest place. [00:06:32] I never thought I'd hear of someone giving birth. [00:06:33] I'm going to give you two hints. [00:06:35] Kids love going to this place, and, well, it can be a little bit wild. [00:06:39] Think about those clues and be right back. [00:06:45] She was high on crystal meth and hallucinating when she gouged out her own eyes. [00:06:51] I thought that's what I had to do. [00:06:52] An exclusive interview with 20 year old Kaylee Muthart. [00:06:56] All new Oz. [00:06:58] That's coming up tomorrow. [00:07:04] We are back reviewing the most unforgettable births in the most outrageous places that no one would ever see coming. [00:07:10] Now, Kamika was visiting the Omaha Zoo when she had a. [00:07:14] A wild surprise delivery. [00:07:16] Let's start at the very beginning. [00:07:17] Thanks for joining us. [00:07:18] So, you're eight months pregnant. [00:07:19] Yes. [00:07:20] And you wanted to stay busy, see if you could go to the zoo. [00:07:22] Why not? [00:07:23] So, you see the leopards, you see the elephants, you see the zebras. [00:07:25] You get on a train. [00:07:26] Yep. [00:07:27] And you ride the train and you begin to realize something's not right here. [00:07:30] Not right. [00:07:31] So, what did you do? [00:07:32] So, we get on the train and my husband and my mom's like, I'm like, something's not right. [00:07:38] It's not right. [00:07:39] We need to get off. [00:07:40] So, my husband and my mom's like, Aren't you supposed to be taking breathing techniques? [00:07:44] And I'm like, What? [00:07:46] This hurts. [00:07:48] Forget those breathing takers. [00:07:50] And then my husband, like, it's okay. [00:07:52] We're closer to our stop and just calm down. [00:07:55] So I'm looking at him like, okay. [00:07:58] So we get off the train and I'm like, I'm sitting, well, they get off first. [00:08:02] And I'm sitting there pacing. [00:08:03] I'm like, okay, am I going to make it? [00:08:05] Am I not? [00:08:06] We get past the carousel and my water breaks. [00:08:09] I'm like, help, help. [00:08:12] And he's like, no, stop. [00:08:13] I'm like, you're not a doctor. [00:08:16] So he's like, okay, I got you. [00:08:17] I got you. [00:08:18] So we get to the gate and the gates are locked off. [00:08:21] They're doing construction there. [00:08:23] Oh, no. [00:08:24] So the ladies in the back, they're trying to find the key. [00:08:27] To open up the gate. [00:08:28] So you're locked in the zoo. [00:08:29] Yeah. [00:08:30] And at this point, the baby is starting to come down. [00:08:33] The baby's head is already in my panties. [00:08:37] Oh, no. [00:08:38] Yeah. [00:08:38] I'm standing up still. [00:08:40] So you felt the head come out of you. [00:08:42] Yeah. [00:08:42] This is again another story. [00:08:43] The panties helped out. [00:08:44] Yeah. [00:08:46] So it's a recurrent theme here. [00:08:47] So the panties catch the baby's head. [00:08:50] Yes. [00:08:50] And my husband's like, I'm like, her head, her head. [00:08:54] And he's like, what are you talking about? [00:08:56] So he goes around and actually feels it. [00:08:58] He's like, Oh, her head. [00:09:03] So he's like, okay, y'all, situation change, situation change. [00:09:07] She's having the baby. [00:09:11] So they just start pulling out their phones and looking. [00:09:13] I'm like, guys, are y'all gonna help me? [00:09:15] So I'm still standing there bent over. [00:09:18] And so he thinks in his mind, like, okay, well, we gotta have this baby now. [00:09:22] So he just pushes my shorts over. [00:09:24] I had big shorts on, big boy shorts on. [00:09:27] He pushes them over. [00:09:27] He's like, push. [00:09:28] And I'm literally, you guys, I'm still standing up. [00:09:31] And he's like, push. [00:09:33] I push again and she's there. [00:09:34] Boom. [00:09:35] Oh my goodness. [00:09:36] So he caught her? [00:09:37] Yeah, he caught her. [00:09:38] So he did that right? [00:09:39] Yeah, he did that right. [00:09:41] All right, we're going to meet Justin, the husband, and the husband who couldn't figure out when you said, it's her head, it's her head. [00:09:48] And little Drea is here. [00:09:49] So come on up. [00:09:49] Made her debut at the zoo. [00:09:52] Now coming on the show. [00:09:59] There's Drea. [00:10:00] Oh my goodness. [00:10:03] Can I hold Drea? [00:10:03] Yes. [00:10:04] Oh my goodness. [00:10:05] She's so pretty. [00:10:09] Oh my goodness, she's beautiful. [00:10:11] Yeah. [00:10:11] So, what was that, Justin, like? [00:10:12] First of all, did she describe the story correctly? [00:10:14] Were you not processing that Ria's head was already out? [00:10:18] Yes, people were taking pictures. [00:10:20] I just wasn't paying attention to them. [00:10:22] What was it like to actually catch your child? [00:10:25] It was, I can't explain it. [00:10:28] It's one of the most greatest experiences in the world because you don't see a lot of men doing it. [00:10:36] Well, you see, you got a surprise. [00:10:39] Gift. [00:10:40] You got a welcome gift from the zoo. [00:10:43] Yes. [00:10:43] Right? [00:10:44] So we got a little surprise gift back for you. [00:10:46] We got a Skype reunion I want to give you. [00:10:48] Do you remember the nurse that helped you at the zoo? [00:10:51] Yes. [00:10:52] Her name is Nurse Crystal. [00:10:53] She's here at Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha. [00:10:56] There she is. [00:10:57] She was at the zoo that day working. [00:10:58] Hey, Crystal. [00:11:00] Hi, everybody. [00:11:02] Great to see you. [00:11:04] Were you used to providing bandages at the zoo's first aid station? [00:11:07] What was it like to have a baby on its way? [00:11:10] Dr. Oz, it was crazy. [00:11:12] I am a nurse with Children's Hospital and Medical Center, and I received a call on my radio for a woman in labor. [00:11:20] And as we were approaching, I realized there is a lady on her back. [00:11:23] And I'm like, oh my. [00:11:25] As I run over, I get closer, and baby Drea is laying in dad's hand. [00:11:30] So I was. [00:11:31] That was crazy. [00:11:37] I, of course, as a pediatric nurse, I just went straight for the brachial pulse to make sure she had a really strong heartbeat. [00:11:44] And made sure mom was comfortable, and we could hear the rescue squad sirens coming down the hill, so we knew that they were very close, also. [00:11:52] So, Chris, what would you want to say to Kamika, Justin, and Baby Drea? [00:11:56] You guys, I just want to say congratulations for making the Dr. Oz show. [00:11:59] This is so cool. [00:12:01] And I want to say, on behalf of Children's Hospital and Medical Center, thank you for being part of letting us be part of your story. [00:12:09] We have a huge gift basket. [00:12:11] Whoa. [00:12:15] Whoa. [00:12:16] Lots of stuffed animals, t shirts for the Family cups, sippy cup, little knee pads for when she's crawling and walking and all that stuff. [00:12:25] And we'll make sure that we get that to her for her first birthday. [00:12:28] And we will be having a big bash at the zoo. [00:12:30] So I look forward to seeing you guys for that. [00:12:33] God bless you, Crystal. [00:12:34] Thanks for being a nurse. [00:12:35] Thanks, guys. [00:12:37] Thank you so much. [00:12:37] And congratulations. [00:12:38] She's absolutely adorable. [00:12:39] Thank you. [00:12:40] Well done and well told. [00:12:41] Thank you. [00:12:42] Up next, you've got a special delivery outside a pizza parlor you're not going to believe. [00:12:46] That's right, a pizza parlor. [00:12:47] We'll be right back. [00:12:53] Tyra Banks on Motherhood and the true story behind her nose job, All Nuas. [00:12:58] That's coming up on Friday. [00:13:05] We're back with the most unbelievable births, and now a special delivery in front of a Brooklyn pizza shop that no one could have predicted. [00:13:12] And by the way, look, it says, We deliver. [00:13:14] You see it up there? [00:13:16] So they got it right. [00:13:18] Mom Tiara is here. [00:13:19] She was doing some last minute preparations for the baby. [00:13:22] When she started to go into labor. [00:13:26] So you actually had this pizza place, and like the other moms who have been here, you'd had a child earlier. [00:13:30] Two. [00:13:31] Two, yeah. [00:13:32] So you sort of knew the routine. [00:13:33] So take me back to the day that you had your third child. [00:13:36] You're in front of the pizza parlor, your husband calls 911, but they don't get there in time. [00:13:40] Right. [00:13:40] So you ended up having the baby in the car in front of the pizza parlor. [00:13:44] Yes. [00:13:44] So explain those moments. [00:13:46] What do you remember? [00:13:47] I just remember we were, I remember people looking at me, and they felt like it was happening, and they were like, oh my God. [00:13:55] As we were pulling around, these are people in other cars or on the sidewalk? [00:13:58] On the street, there's people playing basketball, and they were like, Congratulations! [00:14:02] And I was like, Oh my god, is this really happening right now? [00:14:06] And we were right by our. [00:14:06] Just in between shots, they're congratulating you. [00:14:08] How did they notice you're in the car? [00:14:09] They saw my face. [00:14:10] It was all over my face. [00:14:11] They were like, She's going to have a baby right now. [00:14:15] So we were pulling around. [00:14:16] It was actually only about a few blocks from our house. [00:14:18] So we were really close. [00:14:21] But I just told my husband, I don't even remember the words coming out of my mouth, just call 911. [00:14:28] And they told him he had to pull over so they could. [00:14:29] Find us, and that was where we pulled over. [00:14:32] But by the way, getting home isn't the solution here. [00:14:34] Getting to the hospital is the solution. [00:14:36] Yeah, yeah. [00:14:36] So we were on our way to the hospital. [00:14:39] Oh, okay. [00:14:39] Yeah, yeah. [00:14:40] So let me bring out baby Charlie if I can, and your husband, Eric. [00:14:43] Come on out, guys. [00:14:55] I got a hold there. [00:14:56] Okay, can I come back? === Pizza Delivery for Baby Charlie (02:20) === [00:14:57] You want to go to Dr. Rouse? [00:14:59] I've learned, by the way, you let them keep seeing their parents. [00:15:01] See, that's how Santa Clauses do it, by the way. [00:15:04] They never see Santa Claus, they only see mom and dad. [00:15:08] What's it like here? [00:15:09] You're sitting in your car, people playing basketball, delivering pizzas, eating pizzas, and you're delivering a baby boy. [00:15:14] What's going through your mind? [00:15:15] So we were just trying to focus on the 911 call, right? [00:15:21] Communicating properly, making sure that I was listening to them, but also making sure that I was okay with Tiara and. [00:15:29] Finally, he was coming, and that was all I was. [00:15:32] And there wasn't a whole lot more. [00:15:34] What are you going to tell your son when he's older about what happened that day? [00:15:37] I'm going to tell him that it was a beautiful experience. [00:15:40] It was raw, it was something that no one really goes through, and it was wonderful. [00:15:46] But if I had the choice, I would never do that again. [00:15:52] So I got a special treat from you from Morocco's Pizza Palace. [00:15:54] Sal and Tommy, the proprietors, are here. [00:15:57] Come on up, Sal and Tommy. [00:15:59] Here, come on over. [00:16:04] Here, come on over. [00:16:05] So, we have a pizza here for baby Charlie. [00:16:10] Oh! [00:16:11] We got one here for the doc, you know. [00:16:12] Oh, I got one too. [00:16:13] I got this one a little special. [00:16:14] I've got it for you guys. [00:16:15] Thank you. [00:16:16] Thank you. [00:16:16] Have a seat. [00:16:17] Come join us. [00:16:18] Nice to meet you. [00:16:18] How are you doing? [00:16:19] Very good. [00:16:19] Now, did you guys know this was all. [00:16:22] Have a seat. [00:16:22] Have a seat. [00:16:22] Come on, buddy. [00:16:25] He was the beau here. [00:16:26] Did you guys know this was all going down outside or were you just making pizzas? [00:16:30] Actually, we weren't there that day. [00:16:31] We were at the other locations and we got the phone call. [00:16:33] We were like, what? [00:16:34] We usually hear all this stuff, you know, because we're in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. [00:16:38] So, what do we have? [00:16:39] What should we taste? [00:16:40] All right, so this one here is the. [00:16:43] It's for Charlie, and we renamed our mini pie at the store the Baby Rocco. [00:16:47] The Baby Rocco. [00:16:48] So now everybody knows that. [00:16:49] With a little arugula? [00:16:50] Is that arugula? [00:16:51] Basil. [00:16:52] That's fresh basil. [00:16:52] Basil. [00:16:53] So that's like a plain margarita pizza, and we put a little basil on top. [00:16:58] What's mine got on it? [00:16:59] Well, yours. [00:16:59] We made a little special. [00:17:01] Yours is special. [00:17:03] We made the pizza. [00:17:04] Oh, my goodness. [00:17:06] Oh, my goodness. [00:17:08] Now we're talking. [00:17:09] What do you think? [00:17:10] Emerald green with broccoli. [00:17:12] We don't play around for Dr. Oz, you know? [00:17:14] God bless you, bucking gradually. [00:17:16] Thank you. [00:17:16] Thank you. === Renaming the Mini Pie (15:19) === [00:17:17] We'll be right back. [00:17:26] Today, Luanne DeLeseps from the Real Housewives of New York City is here opening up about her arrest and promises to get real about her issues with alcohol. [00:17:41] Sometimes reality becomes just too real. [00:17:45] Over the past year, The Real Housewives of New York City star, Loanne de Liceps, has made headlines from her life off camera that rival any storyline on primetime TV. [00:17:56] Her marriage ended in a messy divorce scandal when her husband was caught cheating. [00:18:02] She was arrested for trespassing, intoxication, and attacking a cop. [00:18:09] Today, Loanne is here. [00:18:10] To break her silence on the aftermath of her bad behavior and whether she is ready to give up drinking for good. [00:18:17] Please welcome the woman who will be always known as the Countess. [00:18:35] I was holding them back. [00:18:37] They were charging your door. [00:18:39] So, thank you for coming. [00:18:40] How are you? [00:18:40] I'm doing well. [00:18:41] Good. [00:18:42] You've had an exciting year. [00:18:44] Yeah. [00:18:45] So, let's start at a place that's as logical as any other. [00:18:50] It's the night before your engagement. [00:18:51] You're having an engagement party. [00:18:53] And while the cameras are running, you're confronted by the reality that your soon to be fiancee husband has cheated on you. [00:19:03] Yes. [00:19:03] Why not call it all off in the moment? [00:19:06] You know, that's a good question. [00:19:08] I. [00:19:09] I chose to forgive him because I always see the good in people. [00:19:15] It was a big mistake, looking back, obviously, but I chose to forgive him. [00:19:22] If you can't forgive the ones you love, who can you forgive? [00:19:24] So I really chose to forgive him. [00:19:28] And I was okay with that. [00:19:31] When you love somebody and the relationship falls apart, it hurts even more. [00:19:36] And divorce can be devastating anyway. [00:19:37] Yes. [00:19:39] What did it feel like when you realized it was really over? [00:19:44] You know, that guy that got stuck in the rocks and he had to cut his arm off to get free. [00:19:50] That's what I felt like. [00:19:52] You know, it was such a difficult decision, especially after only seven months of being married. [00:19:58] But I was suffering a lot and I was unhappy, and my children were unhappy to see me unhappy. [00:20:03] And it was just not working. [00:20:05] I mean, it was just, he had this bachelor lifestyle that he really couldn't give up. [00:20:09] So you get divorced. [00:20:12] A few months later, you're back to Palm Beach, where you were married. [00:20:16] Yes. [00:20:17] And in that same place, something happens that we want to talk about right now. [00:20:23] You end up getting arrested. [00:20:24] Yes. [00:20:27] Just explain to everybody what went down. [00:20:29] I've read the tabloids, everybody here has as well, but I need to hear the truth from you, from your mouth. [00:20:34] Well, I was going to a wedding in Chile. [00:20:39] Friends of mine were, their daughter was getting married in Chile, so I planned to go down to fly from Miami. [00:20:44] And so I checked into the colony, to make a long story short, I had Rosé at lunch. [00:20:50] With my girlfriend, we split a bottle of Whispering Angel, which is normal. [00:20:54] And then there were some people there that were fans, so they sent me more rose. [00:20:59] So I drank more than I usually would. [00:21:01] Then we went to Julie's, and on the way, we stopped and have not one martini, but two. [00:21:08] So by the time I get back to the colony, I was pretty sloshed. [00:21:12] And then, I don't know, I got to tell you, Dr. Oz, it's not something that I, you know, that's kind of a regular kind of thing, you know what I mean? [00:21:19] In terms of the drinking path that I was on. [00:21:22] So, I almost think that somebody slipped me something because I don't remember a thing after that. [00:21:27] I really don't. [00:21:29] A lot of what I know is recounted to me because I was with a male friend of mine who I was dating before I met Tom, and he hadn't been drinking, and he told me exactly what happened. [00:21:39] So, apparently, I was being loud in the jazz club. [00:21:41] They asked me to leave. [00:21:43] So, I go, okay, fine. [00:21:44] And I go up to my room, and Julie's with me as well. [00:21:46] So, Julie stays at the bar, gives me privacy. [00:21:49] I go to the elevator, I press the fourth floor. [00:21:52] Don't ask me why, because I'm staying on the third floor. [00:21:55] I press the fourth floor. [00:21:57] I get out. [00:21:58] My bag drops because I'm fumbling for my key, and the gentleman picks it up for me. [00:22:02] And by the time he gets up with the bag, I'm in a door. [00:22:05] I'm in a room. [00:22:06] So now he doesn't know if it's my room or not, right? [00:22:09] I'm staying at the hotel as a guest. [00:22:10] I'm checked in. [00:22:11] And you're with your ex boyfriend? [00:22:13] I'm with a boyfriend, an old flame of mine. [00:22:16] I get into a room. [00:22:17] Apparently, he told me the maid was turning down the room. [00:22:20] Can you imagine? [00:22:21] The maid was turning down the room. [00:22:22] So she disappears. [00:22:25] And I close the door, I'm in my room, right? [00:22:29] There's a knock at the door, it's security. [00:22:30] You're in the wrong room. [00:22:31] Are you by yourself in the room? [00:22:32] No, I'm with the gentleman. [00:22:34] You're in the wrong room. [00:22:35] I said, No, I'm not. [00:22:36] This is my room. [00:22:39] So the guy goes, Is this your room? [00:22:40] I said, Yeah, of course it's my room. [00:22:41] He goes, Is that your Blackberry? [00:22:42] I said, Of course it's my Blackberry. [00:22:43] I don't own a Blackberry. [00:22:46] That was really a mess. [00:22:49] So, anyway, so now the security is telling me I have to leave. [00:22:56] And I said, No, it's my room. [00:22:57] I was adamant that it was my room. [00:22:58] Don't ask me why, but I was. [00:23:00] And so they called the police. [00:23:02] So then he got nervous. [00:23:04] He got very nervous for me. [00:23:06] He went down to get Julie. [00:23:09] And by the time he got back, I was in handcuffs. [00:23:14] It's just the craziest thing. [00:23:15] If one thing, it was like the perfect storm. [00:23:17] If one thing had gone differently, it probably would not have happened to me. [00:23:22] But I'm, well, we'll get to that. [00:23:24] But I'm glad it did because it was a major wake up call for me. [00:23:27] So you were charged with battery on an officer. [00:23:29] Yeah, I was going to tell you about that part. [00:23:32] Yeah. [00:23:33] So what happened? [00:23:35] This is the craziest thing. [00:23:36] So, what happened was, they come now to arrest me. [00:23:39] Now, I'm a drunk woman in a hotel room, in my own hotel, but not the wrong room, granted. [00:23:46] Yes. [00:23:46] That's true. [00:23:48] But so they come after me, and I was drunk, so I wasn't equipped to handle it. [00:23:53] And I got scared. [00:23:55] And I ran like a child to the bathroom. [00:23:59] Okay? [00:24:00] And so I locked myself in the bathroom. [00:24:03] So then he tried to open the door, and he opened the door, and then I closed the door, and it hit him in the forehead. [00:24:10] So that's battery that I did on a police officer. [00:24:13] Disorderly, you acknowledge that. [00:24:15] Disorderly, that's for sure. [00:24:16] Intoxication. [00:24:17] Totally. [00:24:19] Resisting arrest. [00:24:20] Yes. [00:24:22] It's all true. [00:24:22] It's ridiculous, but it's true. [00:24:24] And I feel so terrible because it's so not me. [00:24:27] You know, I've been on the show for 10 years. [00:24:29] Dr. Oz, you know me. [00:24:30] You see me socially. [00:24:32] I mean, I took a tumble in Mexico. [00:24:33] That's when I was happy. [00:24:36] I took a tumble on tequila. [00:24:40] But yeah, it's not me. [00:24:42] I'm a nurse. [00:24:44] I did a fundraiser for the Red Cross. [00:24:47] I just can't believe it. [00:24:48] But it was a major wake up call for me. [00:24:51] That I was in a position where I treated someone like a police officer who I have the utmost respect for that way is just. [00:25:02] I'm beside myself. [00:25:03] I'm horrified. [00:25:04] I'm embarrassed. [00:25:07] I'm ashamed. [00:25:10] It was to. [00:25:13] Be thrown in jail was just the most horrifying thing that's ever happened to me. [00:25:17] And I could, you know, to be totally out of control like that and not be able to hand yourself, that's when I said, you know what, I need to go to rehab and take care of myself. [00:25:29] And I just had, for me personally, I had no choice. [00:25:32] It was like, you know what, you're doing this. [00:25:34] I knew I was on a highway to hell. [00:25:37] I knew I was. [00:25:38] And I even say it on the show. [00:25:39] I'm talking to Bethany in a scene and I said, you know, I think I need to go to a spa. [00:25:43] And she was talking to me about going to a spa. [00:25:46] And it comes up, and because, you know, I was just drinking too much. [00:25:49] And I was using it really to self medicate and not really looking or dealing with my emotions. [00:25:55] So let's talk about this a little bit. [00:25:57] So, this is your Twitter apology. [00:25:59] This is the first time in Palm Beach since my wedding. [00:26:02] And being here brought up long buried emotions. [00:26:05] I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I may have offended with my behavior. [00:26:08] I'm committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018. [00:26:11] First of all, it's very self aware. [00:26:14] I must commend you that you wrote this. [00:26:16] This Twitter post. [00:26:17] Because most people won't acknowledge long buried emotions as a root cause of a problem. [00:26:21] Yes. [00:26:22] Yours weren't even buried that long. [00:26:24] Well, I had a lot of burials. [00:26:27] I mean, you know, my first marriage was a killer for me. [00:26:30] I checked into Deepak Chopra for two weeks after the end of my first marriage, which was devastating for me. [00:26:35] Devastating. [00:26:36] Never got over that, really. [00:26:39] And then, what else? [00:26:40] Hmm. [00:26:42] There was a car accident. [00:26:44] I tumbled down a mountainside with the two children in the car in Switzerland, and I thought I killed myself and my children. [00:26:50] I really did. [00:26:50] I thought I was going to be dead. [00:26:53] It was really rough. [00:26:58] I'm sorry. [00:26:58] I think I need a Kleenex now. [00:27:02] And then, The best I can do. [00:27:07] You're such a gentleman. [00:27:12] And then I think, you know, this last thing just did it for me. [00:27:16] I just cracked. [00:27:18] I just cracked. [00:27:19] I don't know what happened. [00:27:20] I just cracked. [00:27:25] But it's all good now. [00:27:28] I want to thank you for being honest. [00:27:31] Because the biggest lies we tell are the ones we tell ourselves. [00:27:34] Yeah. [00:27:35] And the fact that you can get it all out is a big first step. [00:27:39] Yeah. [00:27:40] It's big. [00:27:41] You mentioned a lot of things that I'm going to come back and talk on if it's okay. [00:27:44] Yeah, sure. [00:27:44] Because I want to help. [00:27:46] I'm here now. [00:27:46] You're helping. [00:27:47] So we come back to questions everyone wants to know is the land ready to give up drinking for good? [00:27:52] Stay with us. [00:28:02] Tyra Banks on Motherhood and the True Story Behind Her Nose Job, All Nuas. [00:28:07] That's coming up on Friday. [00:28:09] That's a clip from the new season of The Real Housewives of New York City. [00:28:13] It's on Bravo, of course. [00:28:14] The Countess Luanda DeSeps is here and she's opening up about your relationship with alcohol, which I commend you for doing, but I want to get serious about this a little bit. [00:28:23] It was a long, loving relationship. [00:28:27] You know, it's so funny. [00:28:28] I'm sorry that I'm crying, but, you know, it's now that I'm not drinking, you know, my emotions are like right at the top. [00:28:34] You know, before they were buried. [00:28:36] And now they're just right here, which is so unusual for me. [00:28:39] So, pardon me. [00:28:41] So, are you not drinking anymore? [00:28:43] No. [00:28:44] I just can't for the moment. [00:28:47] I just have not had a drink, and I can't even tell you when. [00:28:51] Well, do you consider yourself an alcoholic? [00:28:55] You know, it's a good question. [00:28:58] I don't really know. [00:28:59] I think that I'm a self medicator, that's for sure. [00:29:06] Pain and my emotions, and until it didn't work for me anymore, until it got me into a lot of trouble. [00:29:12] So, what would it take for you to decide that you can't drink alcohol ever again? [00:29:18] You know, I don't know. [00:29:20] I live in the moment. [00:29:21] I live for today. [00:29:22] For today, it's just not drinking. [00:29:24] And I don't really want to drink right now. [00:29:27] I don't need it. [00:29:28] I'm actually better without it. [00:29:31] I'm so much better without it. [00:29:36] I wish you the best. [00:29:38] Thank you. [00:29:38] And I do beg that you think about the alcohol. [00:29:41] It's hard to acknowledge it. [00:29:42] Yes. [00:29:43] No, I've acknowledged it. [00:29:45] Yeah. [00:29:46] And it's, you know, thank God for rehab. [00:29:49] That's all I can tell you because it really saved me. [00:29:51] It really saved me. [00:29:52] And it's, for anybody out there, it's futures in West Palm Beach. [00:29:56] I mean, where is it? [00:29:58] Outside of West Palm Beach. [00:29:59] So I want to say that because they really helped me a lot and they were fabulous up there. [00:30:02] So thank you again. [00:30:03] I'll bet you were telling me this story. [00:30:06] We can catch a new season of The Real Housewives of New York City, Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo. [00:30:10] I'll be right back. [00:30:15] Up next, the wise and hilarious Allie Wentworth is here with life changing advice for your everyday stresses. [00:30:20] Plus, she's sharing a secret, little known secret, about her husband George Stephanopoulos that you never guessed. [00:30:25] Can you give us a hint? [00:30:26] Just one little hint. [00:30:27] It has something to do with you, Dr. Oz. [00:30:29] Oh. [00:30:34] When Allie Wentworth asked me to just start her show Nightcap last year, I love every minute of the shooting. [00:30:40] You know, you just saw her character Stacy ask me for some advice, but in real life, Allie's known for giving. [00:30:45] Very wise advice that happens to be hilarious. [00:30:48] She's here today to take your questions about everyday stresses. [00:30:51] And I'm finally getting to the bottom of something that people have been asking me about a lot her husband, George Stephanopoulos. [00:30:58] Come on out, Allie. [00:31:14] How are you? [00:31:14] Oh my goodness. [00:31:15] He's such a movie star, isn't he? [00:31:18] Oh. [00:31:18] Yes. [00:31:19] She humored me. [00:31:20] No, you were great. [00:31:21] You were really great. [00:31:22] Before you get into the meat of this discussion, where you're actually helping other people, I got to clear something up. [00:31:26] I get asked questions about George Stephanopoulos, ABC News anchor, all the time. [00:31:30] I mean, are we related? [00:31:31] Are we the same person? [00:31:33] Right? [00:31:33] Yeah. [00:31:33] I say, no, we're not the same person. [00:31:35] They never believe me. [00:31:36] Well, because you've never both been seen at the same place at the same time. [00:31:41] Ooh. [00:31:42] Well, actually, I have evidence, one piece of evidence. [00:31:44] Okay. [00:31:45] But I'll show it only if you agree to clear up this conspiracy. [00:31:48] Yes, I agree. [00:31:49] Am I the same person as your husband? [00:31:51] You are not. [00:31:52] Yes. [00:31:52] Yes, you are not. [00:31:55] Here's the picture, evidence in point. [00:31:57] Here we are together this past summer. [00:31:59] But you look so similar. [00:32:01] And he's Greek and you're Turkish. [00:32:03] So it's all kind of the same. [00:32:04] Who's better looking? [00:32:06] You are. [00:32:10] I've been married for 16 years, so everybody looks better looking to me. [00:32:14] You talk about George a lot. [00:32:16] By the way, it's books called Go Ask Allie. [00:32:18] We have books on the show a lot. [00:32:19] This thing is just so well done and so funny. [00:32:22] Thank you. [00:32:22] So funny. [00:32:23] But you talk about George, and it's not always funny on that count. [00:32:28] You learned a lot in those 16 years you just mentioned. [00:32:30] Yes, I have. [00:32:31] Seems like a lot less, doesn't it? [00:32:32] Or not really? [00:32:33] Than 16 years? [00:32:35] Depends on the day. === Gossip Cleanse and Pineapple (07:40) === [00:32:36] So there's a story you hear about going on a family trip where you just messed everything up. [00:32:41] Oh, yes. [00:32:42] Oh, no. [00:32:42] Threw away all the planning poor George had done. [00:32:45] Yes, by the way, everything you need to know about marriage is how your spouse responds to. [00:32:51] Mistakes. [00:32:52] So, George and I were taking our two daughters to Spain and we're taking a night flight. [00:32:56] We walked up to the TWA lady, we gave the passports and the tickets, and she said, as they're usually so kind, you're not going anywhere tonight. [00:33:05] And I said, what do you mean? [00:33:06] And she goes, your girls' passports have expired. [00:33:10] I know, I know. [00:33:11] It's a mistake we would all make, and it was one of those things where it was my fault. [00:33:16] So, I did what any mature woman would do, and I ran. [00:33:20] And I hid behind this. [00:33:24] I hid behind this. [00:33:25] Indian family that were saran wrapping their luggage, and I kind of blended in with them for a while. [00:33:30] And finally, my 12 year old found me, and she said, Daddy's mad. [00:33:34] I said, Is he mad, like mad, or is that vein bulging out on the side of his head? [00:33:38] Because that's nuclear. [00:33:39] And she said, No, the vein's bulging. [00:33:41] And I thought, Oh my God. [00:33:42] So, to make a long story short, we were in the cab. [00:33:45] It was silent. [00:33:46] And I thought, My husband can now unload everything on me. [00:33:50] Because, you know, sometimes you have like a backlog of anger towards your spouse, and like he'll leave his boxers on the Floor, and then all of a sudden, you'll be like, and another thing, your mother never thanked me for Thanksgiving in 1974. [00:34:01] So I was ready to be waterboarded by him, and we got into the taxi, and it was totally silent. [00:34:08] My 12 year old handed me a starburst like I was in prison you know, like you probably won't eat for a while, mom, you better take that. [00:34:16] So we get home, and we got into bed, and I said, I'm really sorry. [00:34:22] And he said, Of course, I don't worry about it, I love you, and like put his arm around me. [00:34:27] Now, he could have really, really let me have it. [00:34:33] And then I did that thing in bed, women, we do, but we don't like it. [00:34:39] So, Ally, I was giving advice, and it's always funny advice. [00:34:43] But here's a really wonderful example from the book. [00:34:45] She says, Take two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar every morning, natural diuretic. [00:34:50] I just want to see if you're going to do it. [00:34:51] I mean, this is mean. [00:34:53] Why? [00:34:53] You're telling them to do something just so they'll see if they'll do it. [00:34:56] I think that your show, somebody once told me to do it, so every day I take two tablespoons. [00:35:01] Of apple cider vinegar, and I don't know why. [00:35:03] All right. [00:35:04] Bring me the Shotsky one. [00:35:05] I have no idea why. [00:35:06] In that case, here, drink this now. [00:35:08] This is a whole different way of doing it. [00:35:10] We'll do a Shotsky? [00:35:11] All right, yeah. [00:35:12] I usually have a coffee chase at her. [00:35:14] Three, two, one. [00:35:17] Mmm. [00:35:19] Whoa. [00:35:22] Oh, my God. [00:35:23] Is it good for you? [00:35:24] No, I wanted to see if you'd do it. [00:35:25] Yeah, of course it's good for you. [00:35:27] Okay, good. [00:35:29] Not always like that, though. [00:35:30] All right, so we got some questions. [00:35:32] You have your post here. [00:35:33] Yes. [00:35:33] I'm going to go to the audience. [00:35:34] Okay, the doctor is in the house. [00:35:36] So who's got questions here? [00:35:37] Hands up. [00:35:38] I know I got a couple here. [00:35:39] I know Mary's got a couple. [00:35:40] Here, Mary, take it away. [00:35:41] Of course. [00:35:42] Allie, I find myself exhausted all the time. [00:35:44] Between work, family, business obligations, what do you do to keep that amazing level of energy that you have? [00:35:52] Have you tried Red Bull? [00:35:54] No. [00:35:56] I need to. [00:35:57] I actually, I'm a big believer in humor, and I think that we need to laugh more, particularly now in our culture. [00:36:04] And even though my husband is in carrot top, we do try to put a lot of humor into our life. [00:36:11] So I get energy from fun. [00:36:15] And I think in the mornings when you wake up, you should say to yourself, I'm going to choose to be happy. [00:36:20] I'm going to choose to laugh. [00:36:21] I love that. [00:36:22] And that helps. [00:36:23] I've kept my vote. [00:36:24] Thank you. [00:36:25] While you're laughing, Anthea, take it away. [00:36:26] What's your question? [00:36:28] Hi, Allie. [00:36:29] So I have some friends who like to gossip a little bit, and sometimes I indulge, and, you know, we like to spill some tea. [00:36:36] Yes. [00:36:36] I love that phrase, by the way. [00:36:38] The gossip of spilling tea. [00:36:39] Spilling tea. [00:36:40] Yes. [00:36:41] So how do we break the cycle? [00:36:43] Because I feel like it's negative energy. [00:36:45] You know, I have a chapter in my book about it because, you know, sometimes we have a friend who's. [00:36:51] Getting divorced or maybe drinking too much. [00:36:54] And we think we're being helpful by talking about it with all our friends. [00:36:58] Like, can you believe it? [00:36:59] No, I feel so bad. [00:37:00] You know, she's been sleeping with a 20 year old rock star. [00:37:04] And, but you're gossiping. [00:37:06] You're sort of perpetuating the story that ends. [00:37:09] You know, you've played telephone before, you know, and you hear one thing and at the end it's a totally different story. [00:37:14] And I feel like, especially now with social media, gossip is such a toxic thing. [00:37:21] So I now try, I'm on a gossip cleanse. [00:37:24] So, I try not to gossip at all in my life, and it's better. [00:37:28] You're good at cleanses. [00:37:29] And by the way, her colon, Christine, back to the earlier topic. [00:37:33] My colon, I keep all my jewelry in there, it's so clean. [00:37:37] Go ask Allie, wonderful book that's in stores now. [00:37:39] Give one to a friend, it's that good. [00:37:41] Up next, Allie's sticking around for her most controversial advice. [00:37:44] Here's the question Does this, be honest to it now, belong on a pizza? [00:37:52] Aha, one of the biggest debates out there. [00:37:53] Don't say yes yet. [00:37:55] People come after you. [00:37:56] You don't want to miss what she has to say about pineapples and pizza. [00:37:59] I'm excited to talk about it. [00:38:03] She was high on crystal meth and hallucinating when she gouged out her own eyes. [00:38:09] I thought that's what I had to do. [00:38:10] An exclusive interview with 20 year old Kaylee Muthart. [00:38:14] All new Oz. [00:38:16] That's coming up tomorrow. [00:38:20] Best advice from Dr. Oz is stand up and look at your poo. [00:38:23] You love talking about that stuff. [00:38:25] Every time I poop, I check it to see what shape it is. [00:38:29] Sounds kinky. [00:38:30] Should be in an S shape, and I don't want to brag, but all the day long. [00:38:35] That's fantastic. [00:38:37] Clever, the delivery. [00:38:39] You're so talented. [00:38:40] So fun. [00:38:41] Those are some of the castmates of Allie Wentworth's show. [00:38:43] Nightcap, she's back now with a piece of her own advice that is super controversial. [00:38:48] Allie recommends that everyone have ham and pineapple pizza. [00:38:51] Why would you ever even think of recommending that? [00:38:53] It never crossed my mind. [00:38:54] First of all, it's sweet and sour, which I love to mix. [00:38:57] And second of all, I mean, if you wanted, you could scrape it all off and put. [00:39:00] Kale on it. [00:39:01] Broccoli. [00:39:02] Broccoli and kale. [00:39:03] But it's also a metaphor, which is I believe you should try new things. [00:39:07] You know, when I worked for Oprah, I jumped out of a plane, I went nude on a public beach. [00:39:11] You did? [00:39:11] Yes. [00:39:13] Oh. [00:39:15] Whoa. [00:39:16] There are just some things that are too radical. [00:39:18] The beach part was okay. [00:39:19] Yeah. [00:39:19] But the president of Iceland actually has banned, tried anyway, to ban pineapple and ham combos. [00:39:26] It's racist. [00:39:26] That's what he's banned. [00:39:27] That's what he's working on? [00:39:28] They don't have a lot of other problems there. [00:39:29] That's one of the biggest issues. [00:39:30] The internet's been fighting on wars. [00:39:33] You know, holy wars fought over this stuff. [00:39:35] Who here has never had pineapple and ham? [00:39:36] Hamza. [00:39:37] Most of the audience has never tried it. [00:39:39] Very smart people. [00:39:40] Oh, come on. [00:39:42] It's a life changer. [00:39:43] Well, she says it's a life changer, but it's Allie. [00:39:45] So, Allie with the pristine colon. [00:39:48] So, I had my team look into this. [00:39:49] Here's what I found out pineapple, lots of sugar in pineapple. [00:39:51] So, it has about 150 calories or more to already pretty high calorie pizza. [00:39:56] But, in fairness, it's got vitamin C, it's got other antioxidants. [00:40:00] So, there's a theoretical benefit. [00:40:02] But you're just saying taste it to challenge yourself, to break your rules. [00:40:05] Yes, try new things all the time. [00:40:07] Should we taste it? [00:40:08] Yeah. [00:40:08] All right, I'll taste you. [00:40:10] I'm going to treat you. [00:40:11] A big bite, guys. [00:40:12] We're tasting it. [00:40:13] Remember, healthy and happy? [00:40:14] It starts at home. [00:40:15] Woo! [00:40:16] Woo!
