[00:00:18] The podcast gives everyone a chance to eavesdrop on my conversations with some of the greatest minds in health and wellness and answer your biggest burning questions. [00:00:35] We have to feel like we can confide. [00:00:37] We need to feel like we belong. [00:00:38] We need to be able to get support, and just as important, we need to be able to give support. [00:00:43] You would never pick Bob Roth as a Transcendental Meditation leader. [00:00:47] So, I don't like to name drop, but I'm going to name drop. [00:00:49] I got a call from Tom Hanks to go over to his house. [00:00:52] He was interested in hearing about TM. I was in the neighborhood. [00:00:55] So I was dressed like this, and so rang the doorbell, and he opened the door, and he was visibly shocked. [00:01:03] And I said, what? [00:01:04] And he said, I thought you were going to be wearing yoga pants and have one of these man buns. [00:01:11] And so helping to kind of flip that switch and get cortisol elevated, that's what exercise is really good for in the morning. [00:01:16] So I recommend just a minimum five minutes of exercise. [00:01:19] Not just a cup of coffee. [00:01:21] That won't make up for it. [00:01:23] Yeah, I mean, that's a hack. [00:01:24] It replaces a cup of coffee. [00:01:26] That's what I'm saying. [00:01:26] You can't work out like this morning. [00:01:28] I could not work out before we got here. [00:01:31] Simple little yoga stretch. [00:01:32] It took me five seconds to drink the caffeine. [00:01:35] Stephen Dubner has made us question the way we think about everything from politics to the economy, even the way we eat. [00:01:41] But I actually know him far before most of you did.
