I focused on the fact that working-class people can no longer afford to live in this country.
I talked about inflation, all the issues that deeply concern you and that you've devoted your career to alleviating those issues.
Five minutes into my speech, when I was talking about Paul Revere, YouTube, De-platformed me.
I didn't talk about vaccines in that speech.
I didn't talk about anything that was a verboten subject.
I just was talking about my campaign and things, the conversation that we ought to be having with each other as Americans.

It awarded a truthful, and by the way, they had to invent a new word called malinformation to censor people like me.
There was no misinformation on my Instagram account.
Everything I put on that account was cited and sourced.
The peer-reviewed publications or government databases, nobody has ever pointed to a single piece of misinformation that I publish.
I was removed for something they called malinformation.
Malinformation is information that is true, but is inconvenient to the government, that they don't want people to hear.

I think that's more important, and it goes directly to what you talked about, which is the need of this toxic polarization that is destroying our country today.
And how do we deal with that?
This kind of division is more dangerous for our country than any time since the American Civil War.
And how do we deal with that?
Every Democrat on this committee believes that we need to end that polarization.
Do you think you can do that by censoring people?

And then after three years of the Trump economy giving you some breathing room, you might have been able to purchase a home.
I mean, let's talk about middle class.
Let's talk about millennials. For a lot of individuals in those groups, homeownership felt like a part of the American dream that they could never achieve.
They saw the outrageous home prices.
They saw the outrageous interest rates.
They saw their wages weren't going up.
They saw there was less money accessible for them in the economy.
And they thought, well, I just don't know if I'll ever own.
Trump gets in. Energy prices go down.
All of a sudden, you got a little bit of a chance to get some savings there.
Interest rates go down.
Oh, well, maybe I think about homeownership.
So that happened under Donald Trump.
Well, now what's happened?
So since that phenomenon of the middle class getting an opportunity of a little piece of the pie, the middle class getting to put some savings in the bank while Trump was president, millennials and middle class people that thought they might never be able to own a home actually being able to purchase a home.
Well, now Joe Biden has come into office.
Interest rates have tripled.
Your price at the pump to fill your car has doubled.
Your energy bill has gone up probably about a quarter, 33%.
Your grocery bill has gone up probably about a quarter, 33%.
So that money that you would normally be putting into savings when Trump was president, now it's all gone.
Now with inflation and taxation and energy being shut off, you don't get a savings anymore.
And now your interest rate, if you want to buy a house, is going to be 6%, 7%, 8%.
And you might crunch the numbers and say, well, gee, I can't do this.
I'm not going to pay a million dollars for a $400,000 house.
If you even can put away the money to make that purchase.
So that's what's going on.
I mean, everybody is experiencing this in some way, shape or form.
So will it translate to the polls?
Do people understand?
Are they smart enough to comprehend that, hey, when Trump was president, I was doing a lot better financially, and now that Biden's in, I got no breathing space?
I got no room to breathe here?
I'm getting crushed.

The point is to give more people access to home ownership.
To give more people access to building up a savings and getting into the asset category.

I'm finally getting up into the middle class.
And then you look at your property tax and you say, oh my gosh, and I'm finally getting raped for it.
So maybe that's what we need to just like beg your governors just can you end property taxes but the Democrats love it so much so they'll probably never do that now apparently they love war too let's cover this in the next segment there was a big vote that barely got any coverage and for obvious reasons with everything else going on and most of the media being pro-war so we're going to go to Mike Lee who's going to be breaking down a major NATO vote that just happened this is this is serious stuff This is serious stuff.
And when you've got BRICS up and coming trying to have a gold-backed currency, and you've got China thinking about going into Taiwan, and whatever's going to end up happening with Russia and Ukraine, this NATO vote today was very key.

But he says, the only senators who voted to reaffirm that no treaty, not even Article 5 of NATO, can take America to war.
Only 16 senators out of 100 voted to say that NATO can't take us to war and that the Constitution should supersede any articles of NATO. That vote lost?

Okay, so something really weird and quite concerning just happened.
We're debating the National Defense Authorization Act, a bill that goes through Congress every year where we talk about defense priorities.
My friend and colleague, Senator Rand Paul from Kentucky, introduced an amendment, an amendment number 222 to this act.
It's a simple amendment.
It's just one sentence.
It says, it is the sentence of Congress that Article 5 of the NATO treaty does not supersede the constitutional requirement That the Congress declare war before the United States engages in war.
Look, the Constitution requires this already, so it's a no-brainer.
And most of my colleagues voted against it.
Last I checked, there were zero Democrats and only 16 Republicans who voted for it.
So, this really did surprise me because the Constitution makes very clear in Article 1, Section 8, that in order to declare war, you've got to have a declaration of war from Congress.
The president can't do that on his own.
And we certainly don't want a treaty deciding that for us and taking us to war.
Now, the reason he references Article 5 of the NATO treaty is that that does contain an expectation that will defend the sovereignty of other nation states.
But there's nothing in there that supersedes our constitutional responsibility to get Congress to authorize that.
And there's not even anything in there that overtly requires us to go to war.
We often assume that it may get to that, and in some cases it will.
I think it's very, very dangerous to have a situation where you could go to war solely by virtue of a treaty provision that itself doesn't require you to go to war, much less supersede our own constitution.
Something to think about and disappointing, but I have a feeling we'll be having this discussion again.

He was able to befriend Republicans and work with Republicans.

is the only Kennedy, if you think about it, who it doesn't have, isn't either scandal-plagued or totally part of the Democrat crime syndicate writ large, maybe not indirect, like they're not involved, but they're basically part of that machine.

And they certainly towed that line.
And you see with Joe Kennedy, his brother, his own brother was sort of disavowing him.

I mean, you know, the thing about third party runs like that, no matter how good the people are, there are so many institutional and legal blockades in the way that make it very difficult for any, no matter how viable the ticket is to overcome it, And inevitably, it just ends up being a spoiler.
Give us another, I mean, you know, let's face it, Perot was a spoiler, and he gave us Bill Clinton and the Clintons, frankly, in two elections, two consecutive elections, frankly.
I mean, I don't know that George H.W. Bush would have necessarily won in 92 against Clinton, but he had certainly had the, as the incoming president, had the advantage.
And I just don't see him ever being able to make that leap, no matter how bad things are.
It'd almost be like saying, well, I'm going to become a citizen of another country for him.
I mean, their family is so woven into the Democrat Party.
I think he believes that he can basically seize the nomination and potentially reform the party.
Now, my fear is that if he were to get elected president, and as I said, you sound like a Kennedy supporter, look, we haven't had someone this articulate, knowledgeable, I think he's very skilled and, in a sense, pure, because he never wanted to be involved in electoral politics or be elected in office.
He certainly didn't live his life geared towards that.
This is a very late-life development.
I mean, I just—literally, he does his family, his father, his uncle, very—he should, you know, whatever, their memories, very proud in the sense that when you hear him speak, he talks about the Constitution.
He gets into very specific details about the framers and the core principles, and he doesn't vary from those.
He very prominently said the Constitution needs to bear a lodestar towards that effect in his opening remarks.
And, you know, someone like this, I mean, I would say he's the best qualified person probably in two generations to become president.
I mean, literally since probably Richard Nixon.
And I can't think of anybody else who has the intellect and the qualifications and the experience that this man does, despite it not being elected, obviously elected office.
But I don't I can't see him separate.
I think he views it as I will Reform and take back the Democrat Party.
I will bring the voters, you know, to the fore.
