| And the Republican Party is at fault. | ||
| They allow this to continue. | ||
| Mail-in voting, we all know, is ripe for fraud, and yet now Republicans surrendered again, and now we see it all over the place, and now they're saying it's safe and secure. | ||

| In fact, places like Wisconsin today, they have 7 million people listed on their voter rolls, and they have 4 million eligible voters. | ||

| So hopefully this woman will be removed because she has made St. | ||
| Louis very unsafe, very dangerous, and it's hard to live in a community when you have, you know, crime. | ||
| You go outside your house and they're shooting bullets around your neighborhood. | ||

| And so, Cara, what updates do you want to give us on this story, all the stories? | ||
| What's going on behind the scenes as these cases are finally getting to trial? | ||
| What's going on behind the scenes, especially with this Proud Boy trial, is it's not getting any media coverage at all. | ||
| It's happening. It's pretty much hidden from the public. | ||
| I think that if America was watching the same way they were watching, I guess, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, people would be going crazy right now because it would turn the January 6th narrative upside down. | ||
| Because there's actually cross-examination. | ||
| There's defense attorneys that are cross-examining witnesses. | ||
| A lot of witnesses who actually also appeared for the January 6th committee. | ||
| And in terms of this Proud Boy trial last week, the article that you mentioned, the trial is ongoing. | ||
| And right now they have a witness on the stand that was a former Proud Boy. | ||
| And his name is Jeremy Bertino. | ||
| So we wrote an article on Jeremy and basically his testimony, which has completely changed, by the way, Since his first interviews with the FBI, when he basically, you know, said that the Proud Boys did nothing wrong and that they were actually there to defend against Antifa, which is the truth. | ||
| And now all of a sudden, you know, that he has a deal with the prosecution to get himself out of some gun charges that they put on him after January 6th. | ||
| He's basically throwing his five friends under the bus. | ||
| It's just your typical story of somebody who takes a deal and throws their friends under the bus knowing that these guys might spend decades in prison. | ||
| And it's very sad to see because they were all very good friends. | ||
| So this is an interesting case because, I mean, obviously perjury is illegal and they do take an oath to tell the truth when they take the stand. | ||
| So how can he just change testimony in the middle of a court case and it be considered fine? | ||
| I've been watching these court cases for a while now, and I go and I watch them, and it's almost a collusion with the prosecution. | ||
| That's the honest-to-God truth. | ||
| So the prosecutors are actually the ones who took his first statements like some months ago or even, say, a year ago. | ||
| And what he said in further interviews starts to change. | ||
| It's almost like... They understand that the prosecution kind of wants them to change the story, and it's almost like a collusion. | ||
| So the way that they get away with it is the prosecution will try to block the defense from asking certain questions. | ||
| So they could paint a narrative, and then the defense can't actually defend against it because they can't ask certain questions, which might get that person in deep trouble for perjury. | ||
| Or there's so many tricks that they play. | ||
| For example, The confidential human sources are not allowed to be named by name. | ||
| The defense isn't allowed to ask any questions about all the confidential human sources that were there that day, and they were a lot. | ||
| There's so many of them on the witness list. | ||
| There was actually a sealed motion put through by the prosecution that the defense attorneys would not be able to ask about these confidential human sources, and they just Bar the line of questioning that the defense can ask when it comes to witnesses like Bertino to protect him to a certain extent. | ||
| But at the same time, he is also committing perjury because he's agreeing to this narrative that isn't true. | ||
| He lets them paint this narrative and he doesn't disagree with it. | ||
| And it's something I've seen a lot of witnesses do. | ||
| Famously, it usually would go the other way with a fall guy in the mafia or something, and he'd cooperate behind the scenes, and then he'd get on the stand, and he'd take the fall and say, nope, I lied about all that to protect the gang members. | ||
| This is like the exact opposite. | ||
| But I'm a little, I'm stuck on what you were just saying. | ||
| Confidential human sources, is that what the buzzword they keep using is, you said? | ||
| Well, yeah, it's CHS's, which is basically like, in my opinion, probably Ray Epps, Knowles, who was an informant in the Proud Boys. | ||
| All these informants that they had embedded into the Proud Boys, and there's a lot because there's a whole list, a sealed list of them. | ||
| I know this for a fact from attorneys. | ||
| I even know some of their names, but we're not supposed to say anything because it's sealed. | ||
| Basically, the prosecution wrote a sealed, which is again crazy that they're right, it's supposed to be open to the public, motion that the defense wouldn't be able to ask certain questions about the confidential human sources, supposedly to protect the confidential human sources. | ||
| But from what I'm understanding, from liberal Public defenders, some of them who are defending Proud Boys, that this has never happened before. | ||
| Literally, in El Chapo's case, they give up the names of confidential human sources, like drug cartels. | ||
| But for some reason, with January 6th, confidential human sources are so protected and they care so much about these confidential human sources. | ||
| But the truth of the matter is this. | ||
| Every confidential human source that the prosecution brings forward is going to say that the Proud Boys did nothing wrong, that they did not plan an insurrection. | ||
| That's what they said in their original interviews. | ||
| So they know this, so they're trying to actually block their own witnesses from testifying because they know that the defense will eat them alive due to what they had said a year or two ago when they actually did their original interrogations. | ||
| Well, not only that, if it gets exposed, like you said, there's this long list of these confidential human sources. | ||
| If it gets exposed, whether it's Ray Epps or somebody else, but if it gets exposed that there's like dozens of feds in there and then they can find out who they were and then trace their text and maybe they're sending some suggestive text like we saw in the kidnapping case of the governor of Michigan, well, that would blow up their entire prosecution. | ||
| It would. And I heard again from a number of different attorneys that there's more CHSs, confidential human sources, than there are guys on the stand. | ||
| I mean, there's like double or triple the amount on the witness list than there are the five Proud Boys on the stand. | ||
| So it's very scary. | ||
| And there's a lot of interesting people on this witness list. | ||
| I don't know if all of them will show up. | ||

| I'm not saying there's not a role for these individuals in criminal investigations, but I mean, Kara, I'm trying to wrap my mind around this, and you've been following the story, and obviously, I mean, I'm not going to go too deep into this, but being a defendant myself, I'm kind of staying around the parameters of this, because you know they'd love me to slip up and say something on air and either use it against me or just come, you know, disappear me. | ||

| So they're really just trying to tie the Proud Boys to Trump, say they're guilty. | ||

| Then they're going to try to prevent Trump from running for office again or go after him criminally. | ||
