There are some significant issues on appeal. | |
| This is a very unusual trial. | ||
| The court basically put them in default and they went straight to damages and that's very unusual and that's a very draconian ruling by a court. | ||
| Now a civil trial such as this generally has two issues, liability And damages. | ||
| In this case, however, you're only considering the issue of damages. | ||
| Why is that? Because the court has made that determination for reasons that you need not concern yourself with and that you should not speculate about. | ||
| Therefore, liability is established and you are not to consider liability. | ||
| And the judge today said that she will hold me in criminal contempt if I say I'm innocent, if I say I'm bankrupt, if I say I wasn't the first person to question Sandy Hook and over ten other things. | ||
| No judge in U.S. history has ever told somebody what they can and can't say. | ||

| Furthermore, to confront the problems of major platforms being infiltrated by legions of former deep staters and intelligence officials, there should be a seven-year calling-off period before any employee of the FBI, CIA, NSA, DNI, DHS, or DOD is allowed to take a job at a company possessing vast quantities of U.S. user data. | ||
| Fifth, the time has finally come for Congress to pass a digital bill of rights. | ||
| This should include a right to digital due process. | ||
| In other words, government officials should need a court order to take down... | ||
| Not send information requests such as the FBI was sending to Twitter. | ||
| Furthermore, when users of big online platforms have their content or accounts removed, throttled, shadow banned or otherwise restricted, no matter what name they use, they should have the right to be informed that it's happening, the right to a specific explanation of the reason why, and the right to a timely appeal. | ||

| But okay, so really two concepts introduced there. | ||
| One, this limit of hiring somebody out of a federal agency to a big tech company that has access or works with or controls mass communication. | ||
| And then the second half of that, as you heard it, Which I don't necessarily agree with. | ||
| I don't know. I mean, he says you have the right to know if you're being shadow banned. | ||
| I mean, a little open for, I think that's open for debate. | ||
| It's not like the government putting you on a no-fly list or something. | ||
| I would say, yeah, that you should be informed of. | ||
| That's your government activity, but maybe private company is different. | ||
| I don't know. There's a debate there. | ||
| But here's the thing about the first idea, that this is not just true for big tech companies. | ||
| And if it ends up being big tech companies... | ||
| You know, incestuous relationship with the federal government that ends up exposing this, then so be it. | ||
| But this is a story that goes beyond big tech. | ||
| The best example would probably be FDA and Monsanto. | ||
| Or who knows, maybe Pfizer and the FDA, or Pfizer and the NIH. But Monsanto FDA is extremely well researched, extremely well documented. | ||
| And, really, organic food activists and anti-GMO activists were so on that issue in the 2000s that it's so well documented and everything's out there. | ||
| So, it shouldn't just be about big tech and an incestuous relationship with the federal government. | ||
| You should look at all these other companies. | ||
| I mean, you should look at Big Pharma. | ||
| You should look at big agriculture. | ||
| You should look at big banks. | ||
| And we have. We've looked at all of these issues. | ||
| And we know that there's an incestuous relationship there. | ||
| And this is where the debate happens. | ||
| And this is where the new Republican Party, which is a populist movement that is consisting of conservative... | ||
| Ideas and values politically and then libertarian ideas and values politically. | ||
| And this is where we need to have the debate because you are talking about government power here. | ||
