We got a lot of problems right now on this planet, but we're dealing with something right now in America that cannot really be undersold or oversold.

The Democrat Party now is announcing their official party policy that there is no Second Amendment, there is no such thing as shall not be infringed, and that the Constitution and Bill of Rights are null and void.
I mean, that's the situation we have on our hands today.
With this hearing and the gun legislation proposals the Democrats have put forth and their rhetoric and their explanation for why they're doing it.
So, I mean, I don't know how else to put it.
This is emergency alert, red alert.
All of America should be concerned.
Active treason happening right now.
The Democrat Party is looking to void the U.S. Constitution, end the Second Amendment.
Just what a tyrant would do.
Just what those documents were here to protect us from.
They criticize the NRA. They call Republicans names.
Let's be honest. They've told us what they want to do.
Their real beef is with the Second Amendment.

Think about what this bill does.
Mr. Massey just outlined the six bills thrown into one.
What this bill does, it tells law-abiding citizens when you can get a gun, what kind of gun you can get, what accessories you can get for your gun, and where and how you have to store it in your own darn home.

We know it's the start because Ms.
Jackson Lee, the first person to speak on their side, said this.
We're not finished.
This is just the beginning.
Their goal, plain and simple, is to get rid of the Second Amendment.
Joe Biden said it the other day.
He said he wants to ban 9mm handguns.
Michael Moore said it last week.
Time to repeal the Second Amendment, he said.
We know where the Democrats want to go and they don't care about the Constitution.
Mr. Bishop pointed that out just a few minutes ago.
They know the age limit in this bill is unconstitutional.
We just had a decision last month from the most liberal circuit in the country that it's unconstitutional.
They know the storage provisions are unconstitutional.
The Heller decision said so.
They don't care.
Forget the Constitution.
They want to change the country in so many dramatic ways.
The gentleman from New York just talked about getting rid of the filibuster, packing the court.
We know they want to pack the court because the chairman of this committee introduced a bill 14 months ago to pack the court.
And the worst of it is, this bill would not address the tragedies we have seen unfold around the country in the last couple weeks.
Would not stop the terrible events that we saw.
Wouldn't harden schools.
In fact, the spokesperson for the president just said last week, hardening schools is not something President Biden wants to happen.
Not something he believes in.
I find that astonishing, but that's what she said.
This bill would not stop the terrible events, it wouldn't harden schools, but it will sure take away the rights of the American people who follow the law.
That's what this is all about.
And it's such...
It's just so wrong.
But it is part of the pattern we have seen.
And again, as Mr. Bishop pointed out a few minutes ago, this is the Judiciary Committee.
You would think there would be the proper respect for the Constitution and for decisions reached by our circuit courts.
Nope. Nope.
We are so focused on taking away people's liberty...
It's frightening to me when you put it all in context and you think about what the Democrats are trying to do to First Amendment liberties, now to Second Amendment liberties.
This is what frightens the American people and that's why we should vote this bill down and we should come together as a bipartisan way to figure out what we can do to help Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to have more from this hearing coming up on today's transmission.

Well, that was a lie in and of itself.
Media called him out on that.
But then he's speaking at a Delaware commencement graduation ceremony.
And then he says that Trump supporters killed five police officers during January 6th.
So he's not just lying again, but making the lie even worse.
Then he gets caught lying about claiming he was in the Naval Academy.
Never happened.
It's like, I don't even have time.
Here's the president just blatantly lying about these things.
Just filter that off the desk.
That's not important. I got more important news than that.
More important news than the president of the United States caught blatantly lying to the American public.
And he doesn't even know what's going on in his own head.
But it's like, oh, here's your president lying, mentally impaired.
That's not even important enough to be on the desk today.
So, here's what we've got.
We've got a ton of the gun debate clips, the hearing today, Democrats wanting to take your guns away.
That's exactly what they're doing.
It's worse than ever. And now they are openly saying, in hearings, how they want to null and void the Constitution.
So it's not just us warning you that's where the Democrats want to go.
It's not just the nuance of Democrat legislation or any legislation that infringes upon our rights.
They're just outright saying now they don't believe in the Constitution, they don't believe it's permanent, and they are just ignoring it.
Which is a violation of their oath, which is treason, which is punishable by death.
I didn't write the code. I'm just telling it to you right now.
But that's just the way things go in this country.
Democrat, liberal privilege, they're above the law.
They can do whatever the hell they want.
They can commit treason.
They can lie to the FBI. They can burn, loot, rob, murder, destroy.
They can do whatever the hell they want.
They are above the law. But if you are a Christian, a conservative, a Republican voter, a Trump supporter, You will face the full scrutiny of the new authoritarian, left-wing, big government, big media, big tech symbiote that wants to crush you and kill you.
So we've got a lot of that from the gun debate.
I've got this other stack of big political news.
I've got a stack of just the Biden administration just falling apart.
Our economy just falling apart.
Are they really going to try to scare us with the monkey pox?
Well, they've got new headlines today trying to do just that.
It's gay month, so I've got another stack of how the left wants to make your kid a sexual deviant and pervert, calling it gay pride.
That's the veil. That's the disguise.
If I was a member of the LGBTQ plus community, I would be extremely upset with how the Democrats are using me to come after kids.
I'd be very upset with that.
And then, you know, I don't really cover the Amber Heard-Johnny Depp trial, but I gotta say now at the conclusion of it, there has been a hilarious response.
And there's actually, the trial is pretty much irrelevant as far as the general public is concerned.
But there's an origin story here that I was unaware of that I imagine most are unaware of that actually does make it relevant.
And so I'll explain that coming up.
And then you'll realize this Johnny Depp vs.
Amber Heard case was something else entirely.
It was another left-wing political stunt, folks.
That's how pathetic these people are.
And now that they've lost, they're all making their excuses.
But let me just step back because I'm going to play all these clips from the hearing today on gun control.
And again, my thought process, my logic, my reasoning with all this stuff is to just sit down and you treat it like a game of chess.
So If we do this or we install this law or this policy or this adjustment or whatever, what are all the other responses here and then what other moves come after that?
Or if we go this way, what are all the responses and then what moves come after that?
That's how it works.
So, I mean, I'm thinking 7, 8, 9, 10 levels in a chess game saying, okay, here's how they propose legislation.
Here's what would follow.
And I work that out.
I reach my conclusions. I come on here and break it down.
And so I'm sitting there last night listening to some of the media, reading some of the reports, expecting today that the Democrats are going to come out and do just this.
Basically calling for the end of the Bill of Rights, calling for the end of the Constitution.
I mean, that's what they're doing now.
It's amazing. I have to kind of contain myself to tell you, hey, I should be screaming, pounding the desk, smoke coming out of my ears, my hair on fire.
Democrats are now openly calling to end the Constitution, void the Bill of Rights.
I mean, that's a big deal. That's a big deal.
It's about as big a deal as you can have, really.
And that's what they're doing.
But I'm sitting there and I'm thinking about all this last night, going through all of it in my head.
And it just hits me.
There are no real concrete answers or solutions to any of this.
What there are, though, is there's principles and there's values that become cornerstones of civilization.
And so just like in a game of chess, that any move might have any other number of moves, and then any other number of moves after that, what would be the best move?
Well, you really don't know, do you?
Because there's all different kind of outcomes that could happen.
Same thing goes with these debates, like, for example, on gun control.
You want to have gun control?
You want to take all the guns?
You want to have no guns?
Okay. Well, guess what?
There's going to be a series of events that follow that, that aren't going to be so good.
So you can say it's a good thing, you can say it's a bad thing.
Let's look at the events that follow.
Let's look at the historical aspect.
See, that's not even what it's about, because I'm sitting there and I'm realizing there is no easy solution.
There's no easy solution to what happened at the school in Uvalde, Texas.
The easiest solution is the obvious one, to have an armed guard there.
But we don't want to have that debate because everything's political.
But I'm sitting there and I'm just thinking all of this out.
And when you watch the leftist media and you hear their commentary and you read their commentary, it really just hits you.
And it hit me last night.
Because I'm sitting here and I'm thinking, you know, all these debates that you're having about gun control or gun violence, or really any of the debates, but let's specifically say for this segment, the gun debate.
Whatever debate you're having, whatever you're thinking and trying to work out in your head, the debate's already been had.
For weeks and months and years and even decades, the debate was already had by men much smarter than an entire country of liberals right now.
They're called the Founding Fathers.
And they debated these issues for years.
And what they decided was that, you know what?
There really is no easy solution or easy outcome, but we value freedom and prosperity.
And so if we value freedom and prosperity, what do we have to do to make sure that those are valued and maintained in civilization?
Well, the answer is the Second Amendment.
So all this debate, it's already been had, folks.
The conclusion's already been reached.
It's called the Constitution.
It's called the Bill of Rights.

But see, that's the problem here is that it becomes this debate about a school shooting that's already happened that none of this legislation would have stopped anyway instead of a debate on what the actual issue here is.
We have a Second Amendment right that shall not be infringed.
That's the issue. And that's why the Democrats are trying to get rid of that issue.
They view the Second Amendment as the issue.
Not the school shooting.
The Second Amendment.
The school shooting is not the issue to the Democrats.
That just becomes the arena for debate.
That just becomes the shiny object they wave around.
That's just the dead children graves that they dance upon to take the Second Amendment.
That's what they see as the issue here.

We'll end the filibuster.
We'll do whatever it takes to get the gun control.
The Republican Party should end.
The Democrat Party should be no more after this.
It should be done. It should be over with.
Seriously. Because there's nuance in all the other stuff, and they can play games.
Yeah, you can look, hey, look at how bad the Biden administration is.
Look at the crashing of the economy.
There's nuance there.
There's political footballs there.
There's gamesmanship there.

You could end the Democrat Party politically with all the ammunition that they're giving you right now if you're the Republicans.
And you'll get nothing from Mitch McConnell.
You'll get nothing from Kevin McCarthy because they suck.

You should be having every Republican in front of the Capitol tonight.
And you should be showing all the highest crime rates for gun crimes in this country.

Why aren't you in front of them during these hearings saying, okay, you want gun control?

You think they'd be down with that?

This Republican Party has no winning instincts whatsoever.
It's almost like they have no political instincts.

There needs to be, look, right now, there needs to be an uprising in the Republican Party, and they need to call for Mitch McConnell's ouster.
They need to call for Kevin McCarthy's ouster.
They need to be done.
They're worthless. If you can't use this right now, folks, we're talking about your God-given fundamental rights for self-protection, and the Republicans won't even call out the Democrats for what they're saying about it today.

Let's go to another clip.
Here's Thomas Massey explaining how the Democrats are trying to ram six different gun control bills into one.
So it's six bills that they've already proposed that never worked, that now they're trying to ram home with one because of this horrible tragedy that just happened, that they look that they just opened the window for them to take your rights.
So again, Democrats dancing on the graves of dead children, thinking we can finally take their guns.
Let's jam in all of our gun legislation that never works into one bill.
The gentleman is recognized. Today we're debating a gun control bill that's actually six gun control bills in one.
And why are there six?
Because none of them work.
If you take six that don't work and put them together, they're not going to work.
You can't make up for ineffective bills by having more than one or half a dozen of them.
Each and every one of these gun control bills in this single title Is unserious and unconstitutional and suffers from the problem, the inherent problem that almost all gun control suffers from.
And that is criminals do not obey the law.
They do not follow the law.
Who here today thinks that criminals are going to read the Safe Storage Act?
And some gang members are going to say, oh, I better lock this gun up or else they'll come and take it.
Who here today thinks that a 19-year-old criminal is going to obey the restriction on age for having a gun?
Nobody here believes this.
These are unserious.
But they're worse than that.
They're going to compromise the rights and the safety of individual citizens, law-abiding citizens.
Let me tell you the story of Nikki Gosar, who's testified here in Congress.
And she worked for me in my congressional office today.
Nikki watched her husband get murdered in front of her viciously in a gun-free zone while her licensed firearm was in her car outside of the restaurant.
That haunts her today.
Ben and her had just recently been married and they just wanted to be in this restaurant and they followed the law and he was murdered by her stalker in front of her.
Now, she went on to get the laws changed in Tennessee to get rid of that gun-free zone.
But that's one example, just one example, of how all the rest of these are going to fail.
The criminals do not follow the law.
And the biggest thing we could do that nobody on the other side of the aisle is talking about today is to quit advertising our schools as soft Zones, soft targets for defenseless teachers, defenseless staff, and students who aren't being defended.
Congress itself in 1990 passed the Gun-Free School Zone Act.
It's done more.
It's cost more lives than it has saved.
Now, some states have been able to override the Gun-Free School Zone Act and create their own areas.
And in those states and those school districts where that's happened, where they've allowed qualified teachers and staff to carry, there hasn't been a single mass shooting in one of those schools.
There hasn't been a single shooting of one person in one of those schools.
The biggest thing we can do here today is to repeal the 1990 Gun-Free School Zone Act so that the default condition in this country is not to advertise every student as a target.
Now, to Mr. Cicilline's point, he was talking about the Supreme Court.
You know, in 1995, the Gun-Free School Zone Act was struck down.
Why was that?
Because this document does not contain the authority to implement a gun-free school zone act.
So what did Congress do?
They resuscitated this unconstitutional bill by putting in a provision that says, well, as long as the gun is involved in interstate commerce.
Well, then we have the authority.
Well, I wonder if that's the case with all six of these useless bills in here today because only two of the bills say that.
It's actually two of the bills say it only applies to firearms involved in interstate commerce.
Does that mean the other four are unconstitutional?
It actually means all six are unconstitutional and they're trying to save two of them with the provision that killed the Gun-Free School Zone Act in 1995.
By the way, they overturned Mr.
Lopez's conviction and he went on to serve in the Marines, the one who was convicted of violating the Gun-Free School Zone Act.
But Congress came back and resuscitated it.
And unconstitutionally so, but there is a conflict between these six bills.
Some of them recognize the constitutional flaw and some of them don't.
And I want to close with this.
Some of my colleagues have said that the assault weapons ban from 1994 to 2004 reduced mass public shootings By 40%, they make up a number a lot of times, but I'll take whatever number they use.
Do they know that sales of AR-15 style weapons went up from 1994 to 2004?
Because it was just a cosmetic ban.
So if the assault weapons ban had any effect, how did it have an effect?
The ownership and sales and transfer of AR-15 style weapons went up during that period.
So I would just close by saying you can't make a good law by putting six bad laws together.

Wade, and they decide, well, abortion is legal, we're going to burn down the city, we're going to protest, we're going to do this, the white person will already be locked up just for saying it.
They will hunt you down and lock you up.
But that kind of threat has been made about the whole abortion thing in the Supreme Court, the leak from the Supreme Court.
Nobody's getting arrested.
Nobody's afraid. They don't see it as something bad.
They're encouraging it as good.
And so they want the blacks to be angry and out of it and weak and pathetic and victims because they need the blacks to accuse the whites.
They need to battle between them.
The races. If black and white people got along today, it would be over, and these people would go out of business overnight.
