| So because abortion facilities in New Mexico operate under the doctor's licensure, they get out of being an ambulatory surgical center. | ||
| So if they were in an ambulatory surgical center, they would be automatically inspected every two years, which would obviously make them be aware of what they're doing, that they're following the rules and things like that. | ||
| But because they don't have that, We don't know what's happening. | ||
| We know that the federal government, through the CLIA program, looks at their pregnancy testing and their blood testing, and they find discrepancies and problems with just those two basic things in the clinics. | ||
| But the surgical portion of the clinic, how they sterilize the equipment that they're using on these women, their emergency protocols, if they have a crash cart, we don't know anything about what's happening. | ||
| And as a result, I mean, we actually, when we first moved here, we obtained 911 calls because those are public record. | ||
| Of course, since that time, they just stonewall us. | ||
| So we're getting ready to sue the city over that right now because they won't give us these calls anymore that give us a picture of what's happening. | ||

Well, I mean, the thing is, is according to the CDC's own data, New Mexico leads with the highest percentage of late-term abortions. | |
| And that's because we have abortions unrestricted literally up to the day of birth. | ||
| And so while New York and really Florida, actually, interestingly enough, a very red state, they actually had the highest number of abortions last year. | ||
| Whenever the latest numbers came out in 2019. | ||
