| That's been the battle you've been fighting recently. | ||
| I've had a lot of people ask me the same thing. | ||
| How can I get an exemption? | ||
| There has to be a religious exemption. | ||
| So what do you know about this? | ||
| What advice are you giving people seeking a religious exemption from the vaccine mandate? | ||
| Number one, Owen, you already are exempt. | ||
| So instead of asking for an exemption, you invoke your exemption. | ||
| You already are exempt from any behavior, activities, actions that are in conflict with your sincerely held religious beliefs. | ||
| Now, let's focus on that for a moment. | ||
| I have three top tips here. | ||
| Number one, when you invoke your religious exemption, it needs to be strictly on religious grounds. | ||
| Do not talk about the science, don't talk about the medicine, | ||
| don't talk about the Nuremberg Code, don't talk about Bill Gates, | ||
| don't talk about the ingredients in the vaccine, don't talk about the side effects, | ||
| don't talk about the recovery from COVID. | ||
| None of that has anything to do with your religious beliefs. | ||
| Number two, everything in writing. | ||
| Do not get bamboozled into having a discussion They are setting traps to ensnare you. | ||
| I've seen it again and again. | ||
| My husband, Pastor David, and I have helped so many people successfully invoke their religious exemption. | ||
| And when it comes to talking about your religious views, go to the meeting. | ||
| But respectfully request from your boss that everything is in writing and that you will respond to everything in writing because it's such a sensitive topic that deserves your full attention and consideration. | ||
| And by the way, it's not fair for them to know the questions and you don't and them to put you on the spot. | ||
| That's a type of hostile work environment or retaliation or harassment. | ||
| And so those are the number three, you always have an appeal. | ||
| So if they tell you right off the bat, oh, no, no, we're not going to accommodate you, you have the right to appeal. | ||
| And we can dive into these things a little deeper. | ||
| Well, I know that a lot of people are struggling with this right now because it's a serious decision that they're having to make. | ||
| I mean, their livelihoods are at stake here, whether it's from taking a vaccine that we know has killed thousands of people or from not taking it and potentially getting fired from their job. | ||
| But I agree. The first point you made there is really the key. | ||
| Everyone is exempt from this mandate. | ||
| The problem is we have people that are acting lawlessly, and so we have to respond in the best way possible to that. | ||
| I like also what you said, always keep it about religion because that's what the religious exemption is all about. | ||
| Are you finding that most of the people that you talk to about the religious exemption are having success when they're bringing this up to their employer? | ||
| If they follow these steps, Owen, they are going to have success. | ||
| The issue happens when they're getting caught on the spot having discussions with their employer, and they'll start to talk about things like, I never get sick, I eat healthy foods, I go to bed early. | ||
| That all is well and true, but it has nothing to do with your religion. | ||
| Further, you do not have to be a part of any recognized traditional religion. | ||
| Your boss does not even have to understand your religious views. | ||
| Your religious rights Even an atheist can get a religious exemption on the grounds of your moral and ethical, sincerely held beliefs. | ||
| This is all protected by Title VII of the U.S. Civil Rights Act at the workplace. | ||
| For those in colleges and school settings, it's Title IV of the U.S. Civil Rights Act. | ||
| So these are laws that protect you. | ||
| The best advice I can give is to educate your employer because they are operating out of fear and ignorance. | ||
| Well, yeah. I mean, for a lot of employers, they've been hit with this mandate, too, and they don't know what to do. | ||
| They want to comply, I guess, is the problem, instead of just remaining free and allowing medical freedom and freedom of choice to be the way out, because that's what it should be. | ||
| But what about the... I mean, I every day am covering a story from somebody who's died from getting the vaccine. | ||
| There's all kinds of stories out there from people that get COVID after being fully vaccinated. | ||
| I think that the best compare and contrast would be with Oscar De La Hoya and Joe Rogan. | ||
| Joe Rogan, unvaccinated, gets COVID, sick for three days, gets ivermectin. | ||
| He's back on his feet hosting his podcast four days later. | ||
| Oscar De La Hoya gets COVID, fully vaxxed. | ||
| He ends up in the ICU for weeks. | ||
| I mean, that right there should tell the story. | ||
| You're right, Owen. | ||
| Many people are going to say no to the needle. | ||
| That's how I refer to it. | ||
| Say no to the needle. And thank God, literally, we have our religious exemptions to invoke. | ||
| Medical freedom should be exactly that, a choice. | ||
| It is astonishing to me in the United States that we have to fight against religious persecution because that's really what it is at its core. | ||
| Also, keep in mind that your employer is getting likely money from the federal government to enforce this. | ||
| So a quick note for all employers. | ||
| You are not under any requirement to force your employees to be vaccinated or tested or wear a mask if it is in violation and conflict with their sincerely held religious beliefs. | ||
| You as an employer will not be held liable. | ||
| And if you are selling out for money from the government, you really need to examine your own God-given conscience and make choices that are not in conflict with that conscience. | ||
| You just said two things. | ||
| One, I hadn't heard of this. | ||
| I'd like you to expand on that, and that's the federal payouts for employers that are doing this. | ||
| I haven't heard that. And then the second one, because it ties into it, and so maybe just clarify both of these for me right now. | ||
| I'm understanding, because I've seen it in the literature, that OSHA says if your employer mandates you to take the vaccine and you have a side effect, that the employer can actually be held accountable for that, not the vaccine manufacturer that we all know is above the law when it comes to this. | ||
| So first of all, they're actually giving federal money to companies that are forcing this vaccine? | ||
| I'm actually shocked I haven't heard that. | ||
| Yes, it's called the American Rescue Plan, ARP. And when you sound it out, ARP, ARP, ARP, it makes me think of seals that are being fed with little treats. | ||
| So check it out. | ||
| Schools are getting paid. Employers are being paid. | ||
| And they are required or actually, yeah, I believe it's a requirement to enforce all of these... | ||
| I'll just use that word again because they're not laws. | ||
| They are unlawful measures. | ||
| There can be no lawful requirement for your employer to force you to undergo a medical intervention. | ||
| Imagine, and I use these shocking examples on purpose, Owen, because I want people to sort of wake up and listen. | ||
| Imagine if your employer said every woman has to have a hysterectomy and every man has to have a vasectomy because overpopulation is a public health issue. | ||
| And so as of today, you cannot work here unless you prove that you are sterilized. | ||
| If we don't draw the line now, where will we draw it? | ||
| Also, a word to the employers. | ||
| You can make the information available to your employees, but you cannot enforce their behavior. | ||
| These are their own individual choices. | ||
| You will not be held responsible for anyone who gets COVID or passes around COVID because it's not possible to even prove that someone made someone else sick. | ||
| So there are a lot of protections for employers. | ||
| As an employee, I would like you to educate your employer, and I want to be there right by your side, giving you all of the ammunition that you need to do so. | ||
| And do you think for somebody that may be in this position to show the OSHA documents that say, if this person has a side effect from the vaccine, that you can be held accountable, do you think that would perturb some of these mandates in the companies? | ||
| Right now, all of these OSHA measures and regulations are being rewritten. | ||
| The president's unlawful proclamation of a couple of days ago said that he is directing the Department of Industrial Relations, the Department of Labor, under which OSHA is a part of. | ||
| So everybody understand there's a federal OSHA. That is a part of the federal government. | ||
| Yes, The president has the authority to issue people in his department, in the executive branch of government, to do things. | ||
| But unless you work for the federal government in the executive branch of government, you are not beholden to any of these measures. | ||
| So what's going to happen in about the next six months is federal OSHA is going to create what is called temporary emergency emergency. | ||
| And think of the word. | ||
| They should be temporary. It should be used only in an emergency. | ||
| And they are going to sidestep the regular rulemaking process of OSHA. I've studied this, Owen, and it takes about three years for a new OSHA rule to take root, actually, because there are so many levels that have to be gone through in terms of trying out new laws, having committees. You mean like kind of with vaccines normally? | ||
| Like they take years? | ||
| Yeah, they skipped all of that. | ||

| So that would at least be an honest approach to this. | ||
| But that's really the mentality here. | ||
| But see, they're smart enough to know if they came out and said something like that, then we'd be aware of it. | ||
| Where if they run cover and say, oh, we're trying to protect you from this deadly virus, just get this vaccine. | ||
| We love you. So many people have fallen for it, as we've seen. | ||
| It's all operating on fear. | ||
| That is their playbook, is to keep people living in fear so that they're not thinking logically. | ||
| Their logical mind is being blocked. | ||
| And so we need to bring them the truth. | ||
| We need to bring them the information and the how-tos. | ||
| I did a video a couple of days ago after Biden's proclamation, and I talked about exactly that, Owen. | ||
| I said, Biden says you have to wear a raincoat so others don't get wet. | ||
| It's ridiculous, you know? | ||
| Why can't you use an umbrella? | ||
| Or maybe you want to get wet in the rain. | ||
| So they will never be able to win that argument. | ||
| We need to keep hitting that argument hard. | ||
| But there is one question that these employers are trying to trip up the employees with, and that is, have you ever been vaccinated in the past? | ||
| And the answer is, if you have been, you say, yes, I have, but now my views have changed. | ||
| And the law says that you have the right to change your views. | ||
| The law says that you do not even have to scrupulously follow your own religious tenets. | ||
| And the law says that you do not need to have any religious scholar state for you what your sincerely held religious beliefs are. | ||
| They back themselves into a corner and they are not going to get out. | ||
| I'm trying to think. | ||
| I've had a lot of jobs in my life. | ||
| I guess it's not really a medical job, but I worked at multiple pools as a lifeguard. | ||
| I don't think anybody had ever asked my vaccine status. | ||
| I don't remember that ever being a question an employer has ever asked me. | ||
| No, it's ridiculous. | ||
| They are trying to trip people up. | ||
| They will also ask if you have ever taken any over-the-counter prescription medicine, or if you've ever taken prescription medicine, and how is that different from taking a vaccine? | ||
| Have you ever been to the dentist and gotten a shot of Novocaine? | ||
| How is that different than a vaccine? | ||
| You have to be ready to answer these questions in writing, and we help you at thehealthyamerican.org. | ||
| There are just tons and tons of free resources under the Religious Exemptions tab, but as far as prior medications, Medical interventions, those are by choice. | ||
| You're not being coerced to do so. | ||
| And you did that, apparently you had a toothache or something you needed to take care of, but they're asking you as a healthy individual to take something that is intended and designed to modify your God-given immune system. | ||
| And for many people, that goes against their God-given conscience. | ||
| And that's the answer, pure and simple. | ||
| If you stick to those facts, your exemption, remember, you already are exempt. | ||
| What you're doing is you are working on an accommodation. | ||
| An accommodation is a negotiation. | ||
| So they might ask you to be tested. | ||
| They might ask you to wear a mask. | ||
| They may ask you to work from home. | ||
| You and you alone are going to be the one that has to determine whether or not that is suitable to you. | ||
| If they put you on leave without pay, that is retaliation. | ||
| That is against the law. You need to apply immediately. | ||
| For your unemployment, even if you're still employed, but you're not getting paid. | ||
| And further, I would love to talk about retaliation and what that means and how to avoid it. | ||
| Yes, please expand right now. | ||
| Well, retaliation is against the law. | ||
| If you are being threatened and harassed and intimidated by your boss, you need to jot that all down and make a formal complaint with your state's civil rights agency. | ||
| I live in California. The civil rights agency is called the Department of Fair Employment and Housing. | ||
| Do a quick internet search for your state agency on civil rights. | ||
| They will have a complaint process. | ||
| Once you make a complaint that you are being harassed or intimidated by your employer, | ||
| if you get fired, that is nearly an immediate example that they retaliated against you for | ||
| seeking your accommodation. | ||
| For example, let's say someone has a broken leg. | ||
| They come to work in a wheelchair. | ||
| Your boss can't tell you to go home on unpaid leave. | ||
| That's illegal. | ||
| you're going to have to go to a It's not safe for the health and safety of others. | ||
| They can't send you home. | ||
| So you have to bring these examples back down into modern day, or the word I want to use is common sense examples. | ||
| And if you got fired for a broken leg, of course. | ||
| Of course you're going to sue them and make a formal complaint for unlawful termination. | ||
| You need to have everything written. | ||
| You need to have everything documented. | ||
| And you yourself as the employee, you're going to remain calm, professional, cordial. | ||
| Do not give them any indication that you are hostile or belligerent. | ||
| It's the exact opposite. | ||
| They're going to be the ones that will be engaging in a hostile line of questioning. | ||
| Get ready for this. I helped an individual who's working for the county. | ||
| I've helped people in every county in California working for the health department. | ||
| I've helped people that are working for... | ||
| Johnson and Pfizer. I've had people from the CDC call me asking for my help along with Pastor David's help in getting their religious exemption accommodated. | ||
| I've had people from the Department of Homeland Security, from the Air Marshals, from FEMA, all of these individuals, from the military. | ||
| We have helped people in hospitals and school settings. | ||
| And the track record is very good when you keep everything related to your religious exemption, when you do everything in writing, and you ask them a simple question. | ||
| Under what criteria are you evaluating my request? | ||
| And then you know. | ||
| And oftentimes they don't even know. | ||
| We have many success stories of employees going back with appeals and actually educating the employer and putting the employer's mind at rest that they're not going to be held liable for any violations or fines. | ||
| And that's what is driving a lot of these employer decisions. | ||

| You can't fire me. And I'm not sure they've ever been to your website. | ||

| Nurses show up to work and they're just told to leave. | ||
| And they're like, well, are you firing me? | ||
| And they just know you just have to leave, but they're not paying them. | ||

| Absolutely. The number one thing these individuals need to do is file a formal complaint with their state civil rights agency, and they can also file a formal complaint with the federal agency called the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. | ||
| That is also known as EEOC. Everybody understand, the EEOC does not make law. | ||
| There were headlines a few months back that made everybody spiral out of control because it said the EEOC says employers can mandate the vaccine. | ||
| But if you read the very second paragraph, it says, and they are also required to accommodate medical exemptions and religious exemptions. | ||
| You always have a way to stand for your rights. | ||
| The EEOC is the agency that protects your civil rights that are protected and guaranteed and secured automatically. | ||
