| And as soon as I saw the names, that's not who was really out there doing this. | ||

| We have the little book of who was actually on the plane, who was actually doing this. | ||

| And yet, there are still people trying to go in, private contractors and others, trying to go into Afghanistan and rescue some of these people. | ||

| State Department won't give private rescue flights okay to leave Afghanistan. | ||

| But quickly, he's a seasoned veteran of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, where for seven years he participated in the rigorous oversight of both the Defense Department and the U.S. Foreign Assistance Program. | ||
| And of course, a doctor in his own right has some commentary on On Dr. | ||
| Fauci with some of the latest developments. | ||
| So we thank you Dr. | ||
| Randy Fishbein for joining us today. | ||
| Pleasure to be here. Well, let's just start with the latest developments when it comes to Anthony Fauci and just you kind of take control of the train at that point. | ||
| So he was funding gain-of-function research. | ||
| He was directly involved. | ||
| He was directly involved in the spillover research, meaning how can we get it to affect humans, taking it from an animal virus to a human. | ||
| We've seen the funding numbers. | ||
| He lied about it to Congress, and yet he still brought on mainstream news as somehow the hero in all of this. | ||
| When he should be the zero in all of this. | ||
| So what do you make of the latest developments in Anthony Fauci's past, current, and potential future? | ||
| Well, I have a lot to say on that subject. | ||
| This is old news. | ||
| My colleague, Dr. | ||
| Lawrence Sellin, who many of your viewers may know, who has done some deep dive research into the origin of the coronavirus since this all began, has uncovered a tremendous amount of information. | ||
| He and I teamed up back in early 2020 and attempted to bring this information to Congress | ||
| and frankly, we're met with absolute silence. | ||
| So there was not a lot of interest in all of this. | ||
| But the question of whether or not Dr. Fauci funded gain of fund of research is absolutely | ||
| undeniable, irrefutable. | ||
| If one looks at the funding documents that were issued by NIAID under his hand and his | ||
| associates, this is what they were doing with the Wuhan lab. | ||
| His associations with Peter Daszak, with Ralph Baric at the University of North Carolina, | ||
| all show that this was clearly what they were attempting to do, to impart onto the bat viruses | ||
| that form the backbone for the coronavirus. | ||
| Traits and attributes that would increase not only the transmissibility of the virus, but also the pathogenicity, the toxicity of the virus. | ||
| Now we still are not completely clear on whether or not the release of this was intentional or not, but Ling Min Yang, who was the Chinese defector, and many of her colleagues all assert that this was in fact intentionally released. | ||
| And one has to remember that in working with the Wuhan lab, one is effectively working | ||
| with the People's Liberation Army, because they are the ones who control not only the lab, | ||
| but a vast biowarfare complex across China, which is actively working, we believe, on | ||
| over a thousand different viruses that they could probably pull off the shelf at any time. | ||
| So while the news media has glommed on to the latest revelations about Dr. Fauci, | ||
| these have actually been known for quite some time. It's terrifying that Congress, while | ||
| paying lip service in many cases to the fact that he has done this, has not acted more forcefully. | ||
| But this is what the research that he has funded. | ||
| And I want to be clear as well that the amounts that have come out, you know, they've talked about the 3.7 million to EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak. | ||
| If one looks at the actual transfer, not just of cash and grants, But of the intellectual property, the technology, we are probably talking north of a billion dollars that have been transferred in terms of value in the development of this bioweapon to the Chinese. | ||
| And one has to simply ask the question, why do you fund, why is the U.S. government, using U.S. taxpayer dollars, funding people who are effectively the peer competitors of the United States and want to see our downfall? | ||
| Yeah, that'd be like if the Manhattan Project got exposed before we dropped the bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and then they just said, oh, okay, it's unethical. | ||
| Well, then they sold it to Japan, who then ended up dropping it on us. | ||
| I mean, that would be the equivalent of this. | ||
| I want to get back to the congressional issue, but, you know, You know, I think it's fair to say, at least at this point, I mean, people have the debates and people can go off whatever information they want. | ||
| Was it released intentionally? | ||
| If Anthony Fauci was an honest person, because to me this is the biggest tell, if he was an honest person, he would admit that all of this was happening and he would feel bad about it and he would say, look, the Chinese did this, I had nothing to do with it, I didn't want this virus to get out, I had nothing to do with it, and he'd come clean about all this. | ||
| To me, the fact that he keeps lying about it and keeps covering it up, To me, shows guilt. | ||
| Well, that's a perfect segue into the other set of comments I'd like to make, that there is a long debris trail that Dr. | ||
| Fauci leaves in his wake wherever he goes. | ||
| I first became familiar with him and his nefarious activities when my brother was a whistleblower in the division of AIDS that he presides over. | ||
| So there's NIH, There's the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, which he oversees, and then below that is the Division of AIDS. And my brother worked in the Division of AIDS, and back in the early 2000s was a whistleblower because he uncovered funding that Fauci was making for an anti-AIDS drug, antiviral drug that purportedly was supposed to help AIDS | ||
| patients and in fact turned out to be actually very deleterious to their health and led to | ||
| the deaths of lots of patients in the clinical trials that were being run in Africa. | ||
| And he eventually prevailed in his whistleblower complaint, but what it revealed was massive | ||
| deception on Dr. Fauci's part and those associated with this particular scandal, lying to Congress, | ||
| lying to the White House and pushing a drug that he wanted to make himself famous with | ||
| by discovering a cure for the AIDS virus, but in fact it turned out that the drug was | ||
| doing quite the opposite and he never came clean on that. | ||
| So the scandals run deep and wide with Dr. Fauci and I just wish Congress would ask some | ||
| more probing questions, demand answers and ask the question why an individual who has | ||
| clearly lied with respect to COVID is still in the position he's in. | ||
| It's a travesty. Yeah, and I want to get back to that congressional issue in the next segment, but how is it, because, you know, we're kind of seeing and living through this Fauci thing right now, the lies of Fauci, the corruption of Fauci, whatever people want to call it. | ||
| We're living through it and experiencing it right now, but as you said... | ||
| People already went through this in the 80s. | ||
| People already experienced this in the 80s. | ||
| Nothing happened. How did he get away with it then? | ||
| Well, he got away with it through sleight of hand, because when audits were done of this particular drug, known as nevirapine, and the study was Hivnet012, was the name of the clinical trial. | ||
| One can look it up on the internet. | ||
| It's filled with information on this. | ||
| The independent audits that were done said that the efficacy of this drug was highly | ||
| questionable and the clinical trial was a D- at best in the way it was carried out. | ||
| I can go into specific details on that, which will, I assure you, shock your audience. | ||
| But the people under him actually changed the conclusion on the independent audit to | ||
| say that rather than it being a failed clinical trial or a terribly flawed clinical trial, | ||
| in fact, it was a very good clinical trial. | ||
| So a virtually 180 degree turnaround because one of his bureaucrats under him decided to | ||
| change the conclusion. | ||
| He took that conclusion to the White House, Because the White House was looking to come up with some answer to the AIDS problem, and $500 million went out the door to support this drug in an African program. | ||
| Ultimately, it was the basis for the PEPFAR program, which upped the $500 million to $15 million, and ultimately, over the last 20 years, to $90 billion. | ||
| It's a travesty. | ||
| But it was all built on lies because he wanted the glory of solving the AIDS problem, finding a cure for AIDS, and glommed on to this drug, which WHO also supported. | ||
| But when the evaluation was done, even the manufacturer of the drug, the German company, Beringer Engelheim, disavowed. | ||
| Dr. Fishbein, we've got to take a break. | ||

| If you want to finish up on that, or we can move on to the congressional issue, do you just want to finish up quickly on how Fauci was able to get away with the scams in the 80s so that he's still in this position of power? | ||
| Well, he's a person of tremendous influence. | ||
| His tentacles stretch around the world, and I think what people have to realize is that a guy who's been in this job for 40 years develops relationships, and the fact that The funding for NIEID has grown enormously, I mean by multiples, leaps and bounds over the years. | ||
| And even after this New European scandal, the budget for the organization was more than doubled. | ||
| And we're talking billions of dollars. | ||
| And those billions of dollars are his to hand out as he chooses. | ||
| In fact, after the Nibirah Bean debacle, when it was demonstrated unquestionably that the drug was having a very negative effect, was not curing AIDS, the purpose of the drug was to essentially slow the spread of AIDS from mother to child. | ||
| And so each, both parties would be given a single dose. | ||
| And it's an inexpensive drug, and it was deemed to be, you know, the great savior after 20 years of failed attempts at finding a cure for AIDS. We all want a cure for AIDS, but to portray a failed drug at a failed clinical trial that was grossly flawed... | ||
| As something that is meritorious, is a violation of every ethical standard of good clinical practice that we want our doctors and our researchers to follow. | ||
| But he gives out a lot of money, and with that money comes a lot of loyalty. | ||
| People around the world who are dependent upon his funding to maintain their laboratories are not going to speak ill of him, even if what they see runs contrary to the facts and the evidence. | ||
| And when we get to the China question, the COVID question, I feel that that's precisely what has happened this instance. | ||
| Because if you break ranks with your fellow colleagues, and it's a very small fraternity that works on these kinds of bioweapons and the like, these viruses, then you're going to be on the outs. | ||
| And all the years that you've spent building your career are I think that's what really is behind all of this. | ||
| And unfortunately, we haven't had the level of auditing of him and his activities, particularly on national security grounds. | ||
| There was really no one that has the responsibility, no office, to comb through the records and | ||
| to wag their finger and say, no, Dr. Fauci, this could have a negative effect on our national | ||
| security and clear it with the higher authorities than him in the Defense Department. | ||
| But that has not happened. | ||
| And he's gotten away with this for years upon years. | ||
| And that is probably one of the many reasons that motivated you to bring this to Congress | ||
| months ago, trying to bring all this info, the latest info, to Congress. | ||
| Hell, even the past info, I think, is still relevant, quite frankly. | ||
| So tell me about that process. | ||
| You tried to bring all this up to Fauci when he started to get into the spotlight when COVID began. | ||
| And what happened? | ||
| What did you try to bring to Congress? | ||
| What was the response like? | ||
| Well, we had uncovered a lot of information through a network of individuals who had access to original source material. | ||
| A lot of work was done by groups of people around the world who are effectively networked together and are sharing information. | ||
| Dr. Selwyn has written extensively and magnificently on the subject. | ||
| But he has collated a lot of this information. | ||
| There are a lot of Chinese translators who are going through the medical literature and | ||
| distilling out what the Chinese are saying about their research. | ||
| Now, they've clammed up a lot in recent months, but for quite a while, they were speaking | ||
| very openly about, particularly their general corps, their officer corps, that bioweapons | ||
| were the preferred way of waging war in the future. | ||
| It was cheaper, it was much more effective, and in fact, if you read Chinese and read | ||
| the translations of these articles, they even talk about how the Chinese are developing | ||
| ethnic selection viruses that will be able to target certain populations and leave others | ||
| unharmed. | ||
| So they brag about this. | ||
| So it's not a question of us making it up. | ||
| It's right out there for anyone to read. | ||
| Mountains of this material to the hill. | ||
| We told them the story. | ||
| They were briefed, staffers, about this, and we could get no traction. | ||
| Now, there were many members who have spoken out against China, and, you know, I applaud many of the things that they've said, you know, Tom Cotton and Senator Hawley, Senator Cruz, Rand Paul, who smell a rat here, and they have been fearless in calling out the Chinese. | ||
| But this is a very deep problem. | ||
| It's a very wide problem. | ||
| It also touches upon another subject which I think is just as fearful as COVID, which | ||
| is the extent to which the Chinese, particularly at the behest of the People's Liberation Army, | ||
| have managed to weasel their way into the highest levels of biomedical research in this | ||
| country and in Europe, but particularly here. | ||
| They have managed to infiltrate laboratories. | ||
| They come over here to do research frequently in one area and then transition to virus research | ||
| or bioweapons research and somehow are able to get clearances at the highest levels of | ||
| the U.S. government. | ||
| You know, I'm familiar with clearances and I can tell you it shouldn't be easy to get | ||
| But they have apparently been able to penetrate in ways that are, frankly, astounding. | ||
| And one has to imagine that they have transferred a lot of the technology and information which they've garnered here back to their confederates in China. | ||
| Do you believe that Anthony Fauci will ever have to belly up and face a real investigation or even justice for his past, current, and maybe even future behavior? | ||
| Well, based upon past experience, and if past is prologue, he will probably find a way to weasel out of it. | ||
| But the effect of what he has done, and the kind of research that has been undertaken under his auspices, We should worry every single American. | ||
| Not only is it a vast amount of money, but even more important than the money is what it has done to our national security. | ||
| We have been significantly degraded in our bioweapons capability. | ||
| The Chinese have a leg up on us and one has to ask why has Congress, why have the good | ||
| people in this country in positions of authority allowed this to happen and not blown the whistle? | ||
| I would just repeat what I said a minute ago. | ||
| Once the Naveerapine drug fiasco, the failure, the abject failure of this drug to do what | ||
| they claimed it would do became apparent. | ||
| He was rewarded by being made the head of civilian bioweapons research, among many other honors that he's received. | ||
| It's strange credulity to understand why he is not viewed with more suspicion And that there isn't more independent oversight and auditing. | ||
| Well, I think we both know why. | ||
| You pointed it out earlier. He's got the power of the purse, and he's got the power of the media behind him. | ||
| I mean, nobody else, I'm guessing nobody else wants to interview you about this powerful information. | ||
