| And when we saw what was coming probably the end of 2018, we knew that the restrictions that have happened over the last year and a half or so were coming. | ||
| This was planned. And when we recognized that these mandates were going to come even to Nebraska, A conservative heartland of this country, we knew we had to do something about it. | ||
| So we got Nebraskans Against Government overreach started and we began doing everything we could to battle that on a local level. | ||
| So what has this been like for you? | ||
| I mean, people don't often like to cover what happens in the Midwest or in the American heartland. | ||
| It is obviously mostly conservative American patriots there, if you get outside of some of the major inner cities, that is. | ||
| So what has the response been like for you? | ||
| Have you been getting media coverage? | ||
| Have you been getting a lot of people on board with your movement? | ||

| Media likes to contact me a lot and quite frequently I tell them no thanks for creating our own media, you know, because when and if they do cover us, very rarely do they tell any of the important stuff. | ||

| And so our goal and what we have Really focused on is creating our own outreach, creating our own media, because we can't count on them to do it for us. | ||
| Often when they do interview, they don't even air anything. | ||
| I tell them that they can only interview us if they come to us in person where we can also record them, and almost nothing ever actually airs after that. | ||
| Yeah, I have a common experience here in Austin as well, if they even show up. | ||
| I mean, we'll have events with thousands of people. | ||
| Media won't show up. | ||
| The left will have an event with 15 people, and you'll have 15 members of the media there acting like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread when nobody attends it. | ||
| It sounds like you guys experience the same thing. | ||
| Oh, absolutely. And so I'm curious, what is the government overreach currently? | ||
| What's the status of that in Nebraska? | ||
| Because here in Texas, our mayor is trying to bring back mask mandates and bring back the shutdown. | ||
| But it's not working. | ||
| It's kind of falling upon deaf ears. | ||
| What's the current status in Nebraska? | ||
| Are you guys back to normal? | ||
| Are people still pushing for overreach? | ||

How's it going? Well, as far as our local laws and ordinances, we're completely and freely unrestricted. | |
| However, we are riddled with corruption here, especially in the metro area of Omaha and Lincoln. | ||
| And the large med centers, the universities, our city councils, many of the other larger corporate local businesses Have imposed a level of restriction without needing the government to do it for them. | ||
| Essentially, we've got the supposed good guys being the bad guys for our government, and it makes it very difficult. | ||
| Oftentimes, we find ourselves having our community come to us. | ||
| Most recently, it was the advanced auto parts. | ||
| We had several employees reach out to us. | ||
| Asking for our assistance because they'd like to force anybody who hasn't received an experimental injection to wear a mask. | ||
| And they have to enter their vaccination status into a database. | ||
| And so we aren't going after just anybody and everybody, but when our community reaches out to us, we respond to those as needed. | ||
| Lincoln is talking about bringing a mask mandate back, and fortunately, it seems that they receive a lot more opposition than support. | ||
| Unfortunately, again, the local government doesn't really care what the people say. | ||
| They're going to do what they're told to do, whether we come out and oppose it in hundreds or not. | ||
| And I don't have the political breakdown map in front of me, but I would imagine the only two blue areas in Nebraska are Lincoln and Omaha, and even that margin would be rather thin. | ||
| So it must be harder for them to do that in these areas than in Democrat areas where they don't have every member, every body part of the government behind them. | ||
