Yay, our big pandemic media scare. | ||

| Some are getting almost miles long. | ||

| Now that everybody knows about the gas shortage, the race to the pump is on. | ||
| And so these are like dated videos from last night and this morning. | ||
| Now it's just completely out of control if you can even find gas. | ||

| Just a few months ago, when they shut our power down, and then blamed it on a winter storm. | ||

| Well, it turns out apparently Greg Abbott believes that's a good idea. | ||
| That's what we're being told. | ||
| Greg Abbott does not want to have the embarrassment that would come from vetoing this bill like we just saw in the state of Arkansas. | ||
| He knows that if it came down to it, he would look horrible. | ||
| He couldn't spin it on Fox News on Tucker Carlson Tonight or Sean Hannity and somehow come out looking good. | ||
| He would be castigated for hurting the children of Texas. | ||
| So unlike in Arkansas, where the governor has very little power over his legislature, he doesn't have a very big machine, Abbott does. | ||
| and Abbott instructed the Texas legislators on the calendars committee to slow walk this thing | ||
| as long as humanly possible. And so basically Monday, yesterday was the deadline. They had to | ||
| get this thing on the calendar and get it a vote. Otherwise, there is very little chance that it | ||
| will go to a house vote and even less chance that it will actually make the house vote because the | ||
| Democrats would just filibuster it until the end of the session. And predictably, the Republicans, | ||
| Dustin Burrows, Jared Patterson, these no-name losers in the Texas legislature, | ||
| these tools and pawns of Greg Abbott, they kept it waiting. | ||
| And now today, they finally have this bill on the calendar, Owen, but get this, there are 323 more bills that will have to be heard before we even get to this, and the legislature is over in about 15 days. | ||
| That's it for the legislative session. | ||
| So Abbott is parading around, getting all of these great Fox News talking points and Daily Wire talking points and making it sound like Texas is having its most conservative session in the history of the state. | ||
| In reality, Sam Houston and all the other Texas founders are rolling in their graves right now because the governor of Texas used his corporate power, used his podium, used his great strength. | ||
| And big voice in the state to bully Republicans into making it so young children in Texas can be horrifically mutilated for the goals of the left. | ||

| It's in your local state legislature, your local race, where the winner might only get 2,500 votes at the end of the day. | ||

| But let's start with the basics because... | ||
| For people that haven't gotten involved with gold or precious metals, they've probably thought about it and they've landed on reasons why they don't want to or they've just decided, I don't have the financing or the assets to do it yet. | ||
| So, to the audience, what is the best way to get started in diversifying a portfolio or getting gold or getting precious metals? | ||
| If you could tell the... | ||
| Listener out there that has never really looked into this and is wondering how they would get involved. | ||
| What is the beginning steps? | ||
| And obviously this is what we're trying to facilitate at InfoWarsGold.com. | ||
| Thank you for having me here, Owen. I'm grateful. | ||
| Praise be Jesus for all of our blessings. | ||
| Amen to that. And your question is great. | ||
| A beautiful thing about gold, Owen, is that it is so simple. | ||
| So the way you broke it down, what is the starting point that someone should begin from? | ||
| And what I would say is the first thing to do is to take an analysis of your assets. | ||
| Break them down. Think of them as like a pie chart. | ||
| What percentages do you have in cash? | ||
| What percent do you have in equity-like instruments, whether it's private equity, equity? | ||
| What percent do you have in real estate? | ||
| And then I'd include in there, what percent do you have in gold? | ||
| For 99% of America, the gold allocation is zero. | ||
| And as you look at that allocation, think about... | ||
| Is that 99%, huh? | ||
| Literally. So that to me is a really key factor in stat because this is the opportunity to get ahead of that curve before that becomes, you know, oh, 90%, 80%, and now it's going to be harder to find precious metals with people holding onto them. | ||
| You're right. I take for granted people are up on a lot of details about gold, but gold is less than 1% of global wealth. | ||
| So that creates in itself another great opportunity for us because that means you can't just shift 10% of your portfolio into gold and not see the gold price move if it happens broadly. | ||
| So when the largest banks in Asia did a study and they said, what happens, this is very relevant to what you just brought up, Owen, what happens if people shift just one half, Of 1% of their equity and fixed income wealth to gold. | ||
| Their conclusion was that gold would have to go well over $5,000 an ounce to accommodate that. | ||
| Why? Because again, gold's less than 1% of global wealth. | ||
| So as people start shifting assets into it, the price can't just expand. | ||
| You can't just print gold. | ||
| And this would be like an unintentional squeeze type of scenario. | ||
| And we were talking about this too. | ||
| We'll get into cryptos a little later on. | ||
| You know, I think what in America, we'll just talk about America. | ||
| What people are seeing is, I keep my money in a bank or, you know, I have cash, but it's losing its value. | ||
| Maybe if I can put some money in gold or they see crypto with these massive returns, hey, it'll be safer there. | ||
| It'll maintain its value better there. | ||
| But this is actually an incredible scenario. | ||
| We've heard about it with silver, but even with gold... | ||
| So if we went from... | ||
| So 1% of the world has its wealth in gold. | ||
| If that goes to 5%, the returns become astronomical. | ||
| Very positive. | ||
| Very positive. And what you said is so important to consider, too, in that you have your money in the bank. | ||
| And I keep money in the bank as well, right? | ||
| But what is gold, to one of your early questions? | ||
| And I would say gold is simply money. | ||
| Alan Greenspan, the Fed, central banks around the world, they have all spoken to the fact that gold is a currency. | ||
| However, it's a currency that can't be destroyed by government policy irres. | ||
| And that's what's happened to really every currency through time that has not been backed by gold. | ||
| So this isn't a call to Armageddon, but it's a reality. | ||
| Investing's about probabilities. | ||
| And if we have these unbroken chain of case studies where governments have become overly indebted, they've promised more than they can afford, and every time that's happened, you've seen the value of those currencies compress, and you've seen the value of gold on a relative basis expand, then I think Americans should be saying to themselves, with our balance sheet as a nation like it is today, with the printing that's going on, Do I really want to have so much money in dollar cash and even in short-term debt, let alone long-term debt? | ||
| And like you said, I think the earlier people realize this, the better, because at this point in time, financial advisors, I don't believe, are having a very candid conversation with their customers. | ||
| And I say that because I don't see how... | ||
| People, especially who are later in their careers, who really don't want to endure a significant stock market crash and other, I shouldn't say crash, but just correction, right? | ||
| Because corrections are the history of finance. | ||
| The stock market had a major dip today. | ||
| And you saw gold traded higher. | ||
| The beauty of gold as well as being this currency that can't be destroyed by a government is that gold is inversely correlated to stocks, bonds, and real estate. | ||
| And we now have 50 years of data, Owen. | ||
| So over the last 50 years, 50 years ago this summer, literally this summer, August 1571, gold was set free and began trading alongside the stock market set by market prices. | ||
| So that's a pretty significant data set to consider. | ||
| So for 50 years, we've seen that gold is inversely correlated to stocks, inversely correlated to bonds, inversely correlated to real estate. | ||
| So that means if you do see those assets sell off, historically gold has done well. | ||
| That's why people have allocated to it along with the fact that it is so resilient. | ||
| And where we are at this point in time, Suggests whether you want to look at valuations on those asset classes, whether you want to look at the direction of inflation. | ||
| The most important characteristics in evaluating markets and the economy all point to, I would say, a tailwind coming behind gold and silver that's going to benefit us in the future. | ||
| So most people, when they see gold, you know, it's a little overwhelming, I think. | ||
| I mean, You want to get, say, a gold Cougaran from South Africa. | ||
| Well, right now I think the ask is like $1,800. | ||
| So some people may say, well, I don't have $1,800 of expendable cash. | ||
| So what is your suggestion on getting started? | ||
| Is it saving up money and then getting a coin here, getting a coin there? | ||

| So once you construct that pie chart of what your assets are, again, think about what would be appropriate for you for gold, gold and silver, gold meaning precious metals. | ||

| So let's say we're talking about people who, investors like you just said, who maybe can't afford an $1,800 one ounce gold coin. | ||
| Well, silver, which we haven't spoken about yet, is gold. | ||
| Also, a monetary metal, meaning it has been a currency through time and is extremely attractive. | ||
| Actually, when you look at a cycle, gold usually moves first, silver usually moves most. | ||
| And we're at the point where gold has moved the most in this cycle. | ||
| And I think silver is setting up for a very attractive return. | ||
| So the point you bring up about not being able to afford gold is something that I hear from our contacts, our clients in Asia. | ||
| It's often, you know, they'll be sitting around and they'll say, because they have a heightened distrust of their governments. | ||
| Why? Because, you know, for us, for our parents, for our grandparents, putting money in the bank has been relatively safe. | ||
| Yes, The dollar has lost 70, 80% of its value, depending on how old you are. | ||
| But it hasn't been like it was just taken away. | ||
| It went to zero. Other than U.S. citizens, going back one generation, you probably had that painful experience. | ||
| And they say- All right, let's hold it right there so that our audience, we'll explain on the other side, can avoid that painful scenario, perhaps in the future with Infowarsgold.com. | ||

| But really people who have a lot of assets or a lot of cash on hand, they are the ones | ||
| that need to be thinking about moving their portfolios. | ||
| You're saying 10% into gold. | ||
| And I was telling a story about how in my family, there was some financial hardship | ||
| some decades ago, and it was the precious metals held onto by a family member that had | ||
| past that kind of bailed them out of a financial situation. | ||
| And that can happen. It's happened throughout history, and that's why it's important to have that safety net in a way of assets in gold. | ||
| You're absolutely right. And those are my favorite stories to hear. | ||
| The neatest thing about my job is hearing about how families have been given a new start because they had some gold in their drawer or some silver. | ||
| And when currencies were obliterated, when whatever happened, happened, or when fires came and the insurance didn't cover it, We're good to go. | ||
| Debts, debasement, etc. | ||
| Silver is actually even better as a day-to-day currency if you need it. | ||
| Meaning when Europe was struggling with excessive debts, the leaders there after World War I said the number one asset that we need to restart our economy is small form silver. | ||
| Because what happened was when people lost faith in their paper currency, if you were making jackets or Shoes or whatever. | ||
| And I came to you with Deutsche Marks or whatever the currency was when the scenario is replayed throughout the world. | ||
| You'd be like, I don't really want the Deutsche Mark for my jacket because I know this is going to preserve wealth, but that Deutsche Mark's losing value every day. | ||
| But I will take... It's gold or silver from you. | ||
| And silver was priced appropriately. | ||
| So if you don't have enough money to buy gold, I'd say buy some silver. | ||
| I recommended buying it in smaller forms that are generally made by mints so that it's easily recognizable, easily proven. | ||
| And silver will be a beneficiary of what's coming. | ||
| To talk for a moment about just technical analysis, there's something about silver that's setting up that I don't think we may ever see in our lifetimes again. | ||
| And if you look at it, silver peaked in 1980. | ||
| And that's a significant date because that's when inflation peaked. | ||
| That was the end of the last inflationary era in this country. | ||
| And since that time, everybody's been enjoying this period of time where the US government has been walking down interest rates from 18-20% down to where they are today. | ||
| And we're all the products of our experience. | ||
| And that walk down in interest rates, which has never happened before in history, meaning where the sole reserve currency, the US dollar, was able to even sustain 18% interest rates. | ||
| That 18% lower move since 1980 has been a tailwind for stocks, bonds, and real estate. | ||
| And when that peaked, it's not a coincidence, that's when silver peaked. | ||
| And silver started carving out this base for decades, this price base. | ||
| In 2011, it hit $50 again and it's pulled back. | ||
| This technical formation that spans over decades is suggestive of the probabilities very high that it's going to move higher in the future. | ||
| I think people are not interested in silver. | ||
| They're not interested in gold either, but they're not interested in silver now. | ||
| I think we're setting up for a very attractive move in the metals at this point in time. | ||
| And gold, we said, is only 1% of gold wealth. | ||
| Silver is 1 200th of 1%. | ||
| Yeah, because people don't think precious metals and silver, they think gold. | ||
| It's true. And especially if you have, if you're wealthy, right, and you want to do big transactions. | ||
| But to your point, if you're not, you know, if you're just, if you don't have a whole lot of money behind you and you want to, you know, you want to buy some of something, I would say absolutely buy silver. | ||
| It will benefit from the same trends. | ||
| Well, and to me, that's really a hedge against the Federal Reserve and potential inflation because people are going to eventually catch on and realize that their cash is losing value and the instinct is going to be to go to gold and silver. | ||
| And once that shift happens, say it goes from 1% to 5% or even 10%, the price of your hard silver that you have in your hand or the gold is going to go up as well. | ||
| You're absolutely right. You're absolutely right. | ||
| And I never have heard a story from a family that allocated some money, whether it was J.P. Morgan, the man, or these families that were blessed to serve who have come over from Vietnam and they used the metals to bribe their way here to the U.S. When they got here, they bought real estate right away. | ||
| Families from Europe. I've never heard any family say that they were sorry that they had allocated a percentage of their wealth to the metals. | ||
| Now, what's really interesting too though, Owen, is that at this moment in time, I think | ||
| ironically, the wealthy in this country who have all these resources at their disposal, | ||
| who have so many financial consultants, really don't have any gold or silver either. | ||
| There's a group that studies what are called family offices. | ||
| And family offices basically are wealthy family that can afford to hire some people full time | ||
| to manage their money. | ||
| And they looked at that same pie chart of their assets. | ||
| As you can imagine, there were a lot of slices on this with CDOs, CMOs, all kinds of nuanced assets. | ||
| Gold, as of last year, wasn't still an asset class on their mix. | ||
| And I feel like I can't comprehend the financial advisors who aren't suggesting in this environment for clients to buy some physical gold. | ||
| Physical gold gives wealthy investors a counterparty hedge as well. | ||
| Because when you have so much wealth with several of these big financial firms, we've seen again and again in history, there can be disadvantages to not having a diversified base of counterparties. | ||
| When you, as a family, take down gold, you don't have any counterparty risk. | ||
| You have the ultimate source of liquidity. | ||
| And I see these families who are wealthy, they've convinced themselves because I have 18 different types of assets in my portfolio, I'm diversified, and they don't. | ||
| They don't. They are missing the fact that if you have private equity, you have tech equity, you have equities. | ||
| So you have all these flavors of equity. | ||
| When inflation rises, The most important criteria to value equities is inflation. | ||
| And as inflation rises, what happens is the discounted value of your cash flows that value your equities are worth less than they are when rates are lower. | ||
| That's one of the reasons why the stock market multiple was cut in half in the 1970s when we started out with low rates and debt started increasing, so like what we have today. | ||
| As inflation reared its head, markets were cut in half, gold and silver exploded. | ||
| We get to 1980. Inflation goes the other way. | ||
| Stocks and bonds have exploded. | ||
| We have to say to ourselves, okay, so where are we today? | ||
| We have, in many instances, still negative interest rates on certain assets. | ||
| That hasn't happened in 5,000 years. | ||
| So you don't need to be a PhD or finance major. | ||
| Just think, if we're at an extreme that hasn't happened in 5,000 years with Well, would you say, because we're about to go to break here, I mean, would you say that gold or silver but precious metals should be kind of the keystone, the cornerstone to building any portfolio? | ||
| I believe, especially at this point in time, because this is your sleep-tight money. | ||
| Other things that you may work on may not work out. | ||

| And let me just also say, too, just like we want to keep our audience ahead of the curve with news, this is what we're doing here in the financial realm, too. | ||
| So we want you to be ahead of this curve financially as well. | ||
| And to your point, we will talk with any family office and their financial advisors who have been telling them that gold is dumb. | ||

| When you look at gold's track record over time, 7% a year over 50 years since it's been set free and traded freely in this country, is a respectable return, almost equity-like, for an asset that has no counterparty risk and has no liabilities. | ||
| It's never gone to zero. And these families that have such huge allocations now to equities, Private equity, et cetera. | ||
| Realize right now, the ratio of the S&P to gold is right where it was in 1971. | ||
| That was the start of gold's massive 20X run, and that was a period where you began to see the S&P multiple cut in half. | ||
| Now, we can't guarantee anything, but I can tell you, as an investor, again, looking for probabilities and looking for boundaries that have Give you an indication that the probabilities are shifting more in the favor of one asset and less than another. | ||
| I believe you're seeing these things line up. | ||
| Other considerations, one metric of the stock market's richness is if you add up market capitalization compared to our economy, we're now at a level that is 40% above the prior bubble peak. | ||
| 40% above. Stocks are 40% above the prior bubble peak. | ||
| So maybe they keep going. | ||
| But if you have accumulated wealth I can't comprehend the mentality. | ||
| We're not saying I should be taking some money off the table seeing how uniquely well this asset class has done and allocating into something that is defensive. | ||
| And by the way, realize because gold is inversely correlated to stocks, that means with the Fed printing that we know is artificially boosting the levels of stocks, bonds, and real estate, right? | ||
| Because that was the intention of it. | ||
| That is the outcome. | ||
| They are artificially subsidizing. | ||
| Our purchases of gold today... | ||
| What I mean by that is, if you cut out, if there wasn't any QE... All right, we've got to take a break. | ||

| 80% of U.S. dollars have been created in the last 18 months. | ||
| That's a staggering number. | ||
| What do you think is going to happen to the purchasing power of your cash in the bank and of your bonds? | ||
| The second thing I would say, last thing, sentiment. | ||
| Right now, the sentiment is horrible. | ||
| People are saying cryptos are making gold totally irrelevant, and it's just like 1999. | ||
| The Internet's going to make gold totally irrelevant. | ||
| Why would you ever have any gold? | ||
| The internet's here to stay, but people underestimated the role of gold. | ||
| I think cryptos could have a very significant role, but to not take advantage of gold at this point in time and have it alongside your cryptos as an alternative asset is a mistake. | ||
| I think people will be very happy they allocate some wealth to gold and silver in the years ahead. | ||
| And if you do get into cryptos, half the time you're going to spend pulling your hair out just because it's so volatile. | ||

| With silver, you're feeling comfortable. At least that's been my experience. | ||

| So there will be problems, but we did find out in Antrim County already that What we know is that the voting machines were flipping votes from Trump to Biden. | ||
| Now, there were other anomalies as well, like Jorgensen flipping to Trump, and then all kinds of anomalies discovered, but... | ||
| They're pushing for a full-scale audit there, so those hoping that this is the domino effect happening in Arizona to Michigan, maybe Pennsylvania, Georgia, and others, there's hope in that story. | ||
| Moving on, we have studies. | ||
| We say liberalism is a mental disorder. | ||
| Now we have more Pew Research that proves it. | ||
| Folks, we don't say this stuff meaning to be rude. | ||
| This is Pew Research right here. | ||
| People that identify as liberal... | ||
| 26% say they have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. | ||
| People that identify as very liberal, 38%, have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. | ||
| And so that is more than double the numbers of somebody that considers themselves very | ||
| conservative and it's mostly seems to be white liberals that have this mental condition. | ||
| And of course, a lot of the videos that we play here on air confirm those studies, along | ||
| with all the other studies that I've been covering. | ||
| So not meaning to be rude, just meaning to be factual. | ||
| By the way, the Southern border being wide open, the open border crisis is becoming a | ||
| mainstay story again. | ||
| It's really almost unbelievable what we're seeing at Del Rio, Texas now. | ||
| So it seems like they've moved a lot of this activity out of McAllen, and now it's Del Rio is the main hub. | ||

| The word is out. You even watch the coyotes. | ||
| Bringing these people across the Rio Grande and then you see them delivering them to Border Patrol. | ||

| And he was actually caught and arrested on the property there. | ||
