| She wrote the story this week at EV Magazine. | ||
| Why do you think you deserve a king when you're not a queen? | ||
| And what I appreciate so much about this is something that when I get asked about interpersonal relationships, specifically romantic relationships between a man and a woman, from a guy's perspective, it's a little more callous or hard to explain. | ||
| But basically, Gina, to me, it's the confusion on the issue of gender roles, but then the feminists kind of wanting a double standard where they don't have to conform to any gender roles, but the man still has to conform to some gender roles. | ||
| And then if the man gets upset, he's not in the right, but the woman can be upset if the man is not fulfilling gender roles. | ||
| And this is whole thing. | ||
| And then the over-romanticization of relationships from Hollywood. | ||
| And so you kind of encapsulate all this in the story. | ||
| But what was your motivation for writing this story? | ||
| And what has the response to it been? | ||
| You know, I'll be honest, Owen. | ||
| I have been... I'm so sick and tired of the narrative around women versus men these days. | ||
| And I'm just so sick and tired of the story that women are guiltless, we're blameless, we're sinless, and that we should be put on a pedestal and that the only people who need to change are men because they're the ones who they just can't get their act together and they can't commit and they can't meet our emotional needs. | ||
| And I'm sick and tired of hearing people like Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama say that women are objectively Better leaders or just objectively better people than men are, as if we are somehow superior to men all of a sudden. | ||
| Not only does this hurt women, but it really has big effects on society. | ||
| Because the more that we try to claim that women are inherently better creatures and that we're better than men, the more that we take masculinity away from men. | ||
| And what we need more than anything else today is strong men. | ||
| Toxic masculinity is a lie. | ||
| If anything, we should be talking about toxic femininity because women are the ones who continuously dress like sluts. | ||
| They are very promiscuous. | ||
| They focus almost exclusively on their career and they don't want to get married and have kids. | ||
| And yet they turn around and they demand to be treated like precious princesses and queens. | ||
| And this has to stop. | ||
| And even more than that, this is coming from the most unexpected of places now. | ||
| We even had so-called conservative Tommy Lahren just go on a rampage on her Instagram Live and say that all men are trash. | ||
| She said that all men between the ages of 25 and 50 are trash. | ||
| And she said, maybe it's not us. | ||
| Maybe it's you. Maybe it's men. | ||
| And I'm just, I'm so sick and tired of hearing this. | ||
| Women are just as in need of redemption as men are. | ||
| And if anything, I really make the argument that women are contributing more to the downfall of our culture than men are today. | ||
| We have the likes of Cardi B and her latest song, WAP, which is literally about female genitalia. | ||
| And there's a lyric in the song that says, I don't cook, I don't clean, but let me tell you how I got that ring. | ||
| So essentially, sex is now transactional. | ||
| And yet at the same time, they turn around in the same breath and they demand to be treated Like, they're queens. | ||
| Like, they're royalty. And this makes absolutely no sense. | ||
| It leaves young women unhappy. | ||
| It leaves young women to the point where they get to 30, 35, and they complain, oh, I can't find a good man. | ||
| There are no good men out there. | ||
| Well, how about we turn around the question and ask ourselves, what do we need to do as women to be worthy women, to be worthy of a husband, to be... | ||
| To change our act to really serve society and change our culture. | ||
| And so that was really what inspired me to write this because I'm sick and tired of hearing the same story over and over again. | ||
| And I'll be honest, I was actually a little bit surprised at how overwhelmingly positive the feedback was. | ||
| I think that, of course, there's a lot of men that feel like they can't say these things. | ||
| And I joke with them and I say, well, that's female privilege. | ||
| I'm allowed to say it, but you're not. | ||
| And at the same time, I think there are a lot of women who are watching the likes of Cardi B and Miley Cyrus. | ||
| I mean, let's not forget in 2013, the VMAs, where she twerked and rubbed Robin Thicke's crotch and was humping a foam finger like it was totally normal. | ||
| And society told us that we were supposed to say, oh, okay, great, women's empowerment. | ||
| You know, so I think there are a lot of women who are seeing this unfold in our culture, and they're very frustrated about it, too. | ||
| They're like, why is anyone speaking out on this? | ||
| Why aren't we at least approaching this issue? | ||
| Well, and there's a couple things here, because I always hear the argument about, oh, you know, Cardi B is not the first to do it. | ||
| Others have done it. And I do believe there's fairness in that. | ||
| I mean, you can look at Madonna videos from the 90s, and you can, you know, look at some rap lyrics and stuff. | ||
| The difference to me was that this crossed a threshold where, at least in those days, there was parental advisories. | ||
| You know, it wasn't forced to children. | ||
| You didn't literally have bare breasts out. | ||
| That used to be considered pornographic. | ||
| But now it's softcore porn and it's pushed to children. | ||
| So it's not even like there's no buffer zone there. | ||
| It just goes right streamlined to your kids. | ||
| And so that's kind of my argument to that argument that I hear all the time. | ||
| But here's what I think the big lie is, Gina. | ||
| And you talk about the over-sexualization. | ||
| The Miley Cyrus incident specifically is in your story. | ||
| I think the big lie, though, that people tend to buy into, and more so women, because men just tend to be more callous. | ||
| It's just how we're designed, to just not care, quite frankly. | ||
| But the big lie is that this is how you have a successful relationship in the 21st century. | ||
| Like, this is how relationships go, and people buy into that, and then when it doesn't go the way they expect it to, they We're good to go. | ||
| And guess what? You're going to need to lean on one another. | ||
| And I feel like the new way, and you highlight this in your story, is, oh, I'm just going to fall back on my feminism, or I'm just going to fall back on my liberalism or whatever, and that's how to have a successful relationship when it's actual traditional gender roles and relationships that build healthy, long-lasting relationships. | ||
| That's exactly right. And the way I like to put it is that when you're talking about modern feminism and when you're talking about this notion that women's sexual promiscuity is freedom, the problem with that is this is the short-term thinking. | ||
| This is playing the short game. | ||
| If we really think about the long game, which is how we should approach pretty much everything in our life when it comes to finances, when it comes to health, our career and relationships, if we play the long game and if we really think about long-term results, The answer is not to be sexually promiscuous. | ||
| The answer is not to expose our bodies online while we have a boyfriend or a husband and expect them to be okay with that. | ||
| The long game is to understand that sex is one part of a relationship, and yes, it's important, but it's not everything. | ||
| The sort of excitement of sex in the beginning, that's going to fade away no matter who you end up with. | ||
| So it's about thinking about the long game. | ||
| Who can I spend the rest of my life with? | ||
| Who can I have a fulfilling, rewarding relationship with that I can maybe have a family with one day and who I can lean on whenever things get hard, whenever life gets hard? | ||
| No matter who you are, no matter what your walk of life is, there's going to be a time where things get tough and you feel like you're not going to be able to make it on your own. | ||
| And that's when it pays to have a partner. | ||
| We are not made to be alone. | ||
| We are made to be with somebody. | ||
| We're made to be in a family unit. | ||
| And so I always tell young women, play the long game. | ||
| And what's happening right now is that young women, all they can think about is a short-term thinking. | ||
| All they can think about is getting the followers on Instagram and fitting in, fitting into this culture of modern feminism and sexual promiscuity and wearing whatever they want and thinking that their boyfriend should be just totally okay with it. | ||
| And at the end of the day, it's really just hurting women. | ||
| I want to continue on this conversation when we come back, but you know, another example of this, I forget the porn star's name, but she was basically complaining, saying, hey, I can't find a boyfriend that wants to date me, and she's like a victim, and it's like... | ||
| You literally sleep with men for a living. | ||
| Like, what? And she's, like, complaining. | ||
| Like, she's a victim. Oh, nobody wants to date me because I'm a porn star. | ||
| It's like, yeah. | ||
| Like, duh. And so I did a little more research into this. | ||
| It turns out she's a leftist. | ||
| She likes having armpit hair and stuff. | ||
| But isn't that it? | ||
| It's like this weird thing where it's like... | ||
| And it really is an attack on women where it's like, oh, we can just do whatever we want and it's the men's, you know, it's the man's problem or duty to just follow us through whatever. | ||
| I got news for you. | ||
| Most men, if you're not cooking or cleaning or ready to raise a family and you're asking them to go through a sandstorm or a snowstorm, they're out! | ||
| They're out! You're going to be on it on your own. | ||
| And then you're going to say, oh, why am I alone? | ||

| There's bullying to make it worse on the guy, basically. | ||

| Do you see that too? | ||
| Is that an issue? Is that a new thing? | ||

| And I think that's why there's so much pressure from their girlfriends to go out for girls' night and go out drinking and, oh, flirt with that guy. | ||
| It's no big deal. You've got to live a little. | ||
| You're not married yet. And I think that because we've seen such a glorification of the single life in romantic comedies, in Hollywood, and all over TV, so many women are deep down a little bit afraid to really give up that single life because So much of that flirtation, so much of that attention-seeking behavior comes from the insecurity that the attention and that the flirtation will actually give them, you know, a sense of worth. | ||
| So I do see that a lot, and I think that we're seeing it more and more. | ||
| I mean, I was just watching a reality TV show the other day called 90 Day Fiance where The fiancé didn't want his fiancé to go drinking and go on a bachelorette night where they were going to have strippers and stuff. | ||
| And the backlash from all the girls in that show was like nothing I've ever seen. | ||
| And they were calling this guy all sorts of names as if he's the bad guy simply because he didn't want his fiancé to go and have some random guy rub his crotch all over her. | ||
| So I do think there is something here where women are afraid to get rid of their single life and there's a lot of pressure from their friends to still kind of act single even when they're taken or in a relationship. | ||
| Let's talk about your friend Candace Owens and the whole Cardi B thing. | ||
| I mean, this is just hilarious to me. | ||
| Why does Cardi B respond to Candace when she's obviously never going to actually talk to her or have a debate? | ||
| I don't understand this. | ||
| You know, that exchange was so hilarious to watch because Cardi B, she really, really thinks, she genuinely believes that having the number one song Makes her superior to other people and just makes her better. | ||
| And so when she responded to Candace, I think she wasn't expecting Candace to really, really come to bat. | ||
| You know, I think she was just expecting that Candace was just another, you know, social media person who would maybe back down because Cardi B has more followers. | ||
| I mean, she kept tweeting at Candace. | ||
| I got the number one song. | ||
| I got the number one song. OK, yeah, I got the number one song. | ||
| And Joe Biden got to talk to me because I got the number one song. | ||
| And it was just we're watching this and we're like, what planet do you live on? | ||
| Do you think you can go up to bat with somebody like Candace Owens about politics? | ||
| You know, Candace said this specifically. | ||
| She said, when you're in Hollywood and if you don't know anything about politics, that's fine. | ||
| Stay in your lane. I'm not going to criticize you if you don't know really what's going on in politics and what's going on with the presidential election. | ||

| If you're going to come and if you're going to try to talk about having universal health care yet in the same breath you want lower taxes, if you're going to step up to bat, you better be ready for it. | ||
| And I really think that Cardi had, she had no idea what was coming and that's why she went on such a rampage to the point where she ended up having to delete so many of her videos because she was just saying the most outrageous thing. | ||
| The reason why Candace is using the doll here is because Cardi B posted two probably 10 minute IGTV episodes where it was just a doll in front of the camera And she was reading some sort of script from behind the camera. | ||
| You could tell that her handlers and her team gave her things to say about Candace and about President Trump. | ||
| And the whole thing was, it really exposed how ridiculous the DNC and Joe Biden are for choosing this woman out of all the Black people in the world, out of all the Black people in politics or even in entertainment in Hollywood, this is the one they chose. | ||
| And I really don't think that Joe Biden is ever going to use Cardi B again. | ||
| He's never going to platform her again because Candace just, she gave her such an intellectual beating that I think she's feeling pretty defeated. | ||
| Well, I don't mind, you know, if people in Hollywood want to get involved in politics, but then fine, jump in the pool. | ||
| Don't put your foot in the water, see what the temperature is, and then, you know, walk away. | ||
| That's what's so frustrating, is it's like, hey, have a debate with Candace. | ||
| Like, maybe you can actually come to an agreement or solve an issue or something, but it's just, oh, let's just have a little insult thing here and then act like I'm superior. | ||
| Since when does having a number one song... | ||
| Grant you an interview with a presidential candidate to begin with. | ||
| But second of all, number one song? | ||
| I mean, give me a break. They give Rock Album of the Year to pop artists now. | ||
| I mean, you had a softcore porn video that was force-fed to us on social media. | ||
| I don't think anybody would consider that a number one song, except in their rigged, you know, system. | ||
| Anyway, I wanted to get your thoughts on that. | ||

| Where do you see the current election going right now? | ||
| Where do you think Trump is at popularity-wise, Biden is at popularity-wise? | ||
| I think we're at a point here where President Trump is—he's in for a good result. | ||
| I was a little bit nervous back in March or April, whenever it was, when the George Floyd riots were really starting and really picking up some speed. | ||
| But what I think happened is that the Democrats, they started too early. | ||
| They started too early with the BLM narrative, and they had to keep, you know, producing more of these fake stories as if these Black people are being hunted by white police officers. | ||
| And so after that, I think a lot of people were really starting to see the lies and the lunacy of this BLM movement. | ||
| And so I think now we're in a pretty good position. | ||
| I think President Trump is going to have a comfortable win in November. | ||
| I've been seeing more and more people who I think that the Democrats, who not were necessarily on the left, but who were at least liberal and they were a little bit more left-leaning, they're now coming over to the other side and they're really seeing that, number one, Joe Biden is senile. | ||
| The man can't even tie his own shoes, let alone run a country. | ||
| And number two, we're also seeing that the Democrats are supporting and encouraging so much violence and chaos and carnage across the country. | ||
| And at the end of the day, They want to feel like their families aren't going to be in any danger. | ||
| And President Trump is showing over and over again that he's going to be the guy to really protect us. | ||
| So I have high hopes. | ||
| I think over the last couple of months, we've really seen so much more support for President Trump. | ||
| And I think it's going to be a good outcome. | ||
| But that doesn't mean we should get complacent. | ||
| We need to keep fighting tooth and nail until November 3rd. | ||
| And we really need to stay in the fight to make sure that we do have a great outcome. | ||
