| So one of the things that took place, he went there to actually cover it and come to find out when he went there to cover it, they rejected him. | ||
| Not only did he get rejected, also AOC was having an event and Fox News was rejected. | ||

| To me, it reminds me of Nazi Germany, how they only want to allow certain information to come out of the liberal media. | ||

| Okay. The subject of this broadcast today is talking about how the liberal media and the conservative media are being treated differently. | ||
| The whole point is that when liberal media When the liberal media goes to a conservative event, no one says anything. | ||
| They're there to cover it and they put out all the information that they want. | ||
| The liberal media has been known to put out lies. | ||
| To give one example, to give just one example, when I went to Portland, I was covering the event there in Portland and Antifa was there and then a whole bunch of Americans holding American flags were on the other side of the street. | ||
| The police department was in between us. | ||
| They did an absolutely wonderful job this particular time. | ||
| Well, the thing that took place is that all of the people that were on the side holding American flags, we didn't throw any rocks, we didn't throw any sticks, we didn't try to fight with any of the Antifa at all. | ||
| Antifa was across the street and Antifa got upset, Antifa, BLM, and BAM. They got upset because they could not get to us. | ||
| And because they could not get to us, guess what Antifa started doing? | ||
| They started throwing rocks at the police department. | ||
| They started throwing sticks at the police department. | ||
| And then what happened, what I'm talking about, to get to the point, the liberal media the very next day, or even probably that evening, I heard about the next day, but as soon as the liberal media in Portland reported on it, they said that patriots are American Trump supporters incited violence. | ||
| We did not one single time get in contact with Antifa, BAM, and BLM. Not a single time. | ||
| It was between Antifa and the police department. | ||
| It wasn't against us. | ||
| Actually, we sat back and watched the show. | ||
| It was absolutely a beautiful show what was taking place because the police department handled them. | ||
| But then the liberal media spun it and said that we were the ones who incited the violence. | ||
| Anytime an American person stands out on side of a corner, the liberals try to say that we're inciting violence, which is absolutely disgusting. | ||
| So, like I said, we're going to try to have Ben Burke on my mind. | ||
| I believe he's having technical issues on his end, but we're going to keep going. | ||
| One of the things that I want to talk about is AOC. AOC was having a town hall meeting, and she wanted to address her concerns about health care to veterans. | ||
| Now, AOC trying to talk about her concern with veterans, I'm like, really? | ||
| AOC out of all people? | ||
| I mean, there's a lot of people think she's completely nutty and she doesn't understand that, you know, I mean, how the world actually works. | ||
| And she's going to try to come up and talk about her thoughts and views about veterans and their health care and what's happening to them. | ||
| Basically, what she's trying to do is trying to make it to where that all veterans and all Americans will have the exact same health care. | ||
| You know, that's what she's saying. | ||
| Health care for everybody, regardless of your position on it. | ||
| Health care for everybody. | ||
| So, listen, I want to play this clip. | ||
| This was Fox News actually talking about it, where AOC was preventing people, or Fox News, from actually showing up to this event. | ||
| And then there's actually, from AOC herself, taking footage where she showed the room was empty. | ||
| And her excuse was that they ran out of capacity. | ||
| There was not enough room for the media, any more media. | ||
| But when she shows the room, it was almost empty. | ||

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez attending a town hall last night on veterans health care. | |
| She was just one of the speakers arguing against the president's mission act, which gives vets more choice in their care. | ||
| Something we've talked a lot about. | ||
| The congresswoman saying, quote, they're trying to fix the VA for insurance corporations and ultimately they're trying to fix the VA for a for-profit health care industry that does not put people or veterans first. | ||
| Pete Hegseth joins us now to react to this. | ||
| Pete, you served our country and you tried to get in this town hall, right? | ||
| I tried. Listen, when we saw this town hall was happening right in our own backyard, we applied for media credentials and access to go to the event. | ||
| Now, the organizers, this is what they had to say. | ||
| I think we've got the email. | ||
| They said, unfortunately, we are at capacity and unable to credential any more media for this event. | ||
| Thanks for your request. | ||
| Is that true? They also denied access to Fox News in general. | ||
| They denied all access. | ||
| Now, we've got some photos from, I like to call her Comrade Cortez. | ||
| Her Instagram story, this is a picture of the auditorium, so it appears that there were people. | ||
| There may have been some empty seats. | ||
| You could land a chopper there. | ||
| You could. I thought she was super popular. | ||
| What happened? I haven't polled every member of the media, but most members of the media are not veterans themselves who are quite passionate about this topic, which is why I wanted to go. | ||
| It would have been great to get an insight on it, maybe ask her a question. | ||
| But it was a very typical left-wing event. | ||

| Not a lot of people. So, Pete, let's talk about the major issue, and that's the choice. | ||
| Yes. We think that's a major breakthrough, the people choice. | ||
| If they can't get to a VA or the VA is disappointing them in their area, let them go private using the money that's been already allocated to them. | ||
| She doesn't want that. She's totally opposed to it. | ||
| She's all in with the unions that say, let's double down on VA health care. | ||
| In fact, she went on to say, I want VA for all. | ||
| All Americans! Well, that's what we're about to get with Bernie Sanders. | ||
| It's Canadian-style VA healthcare is what they want for everybody, and she makes that argument. | ||
| They point to the number of vacancies, positions at the VA not filled. | ||
| Well, we've added over 47,000 jobs in the VA since 2004. | ||
| Wait times have still gone up. | ||
| More veterans are getting care in the community, and they still can't get good care. | ||
| So if you add it all up, she doesn't know what she's talking about. | ||
| I'll say that she doesn't know what she's talking about when it comes to delivering for vets. | ||
| And you talk to guys who are getting... | ||
| I talk to guys every day. | ||
| I just want the best possible care. | ||
| If it's the VA, great. | ||
| If it's a private provider, great. | ||
| And this administration is committed to that. | ||
| All the rules aren't written, and it's not perfect yet. | ||
| But that's what they want to happen. | ||
| And the left saying no. | ||
| Same system for everybody, government-run health. | ||
| What they don't understand, too, is for-profit also means there's an incentive for excellence. | ||
| Because if you don't make a profit, you lose money. | ||
| And the VA has no competition. | ||
| No competition, so they treat vets as numbers. | ||
| I've been talking to someone right now. | ||
| They were at the Mayo Clinic. | ||
| They needed a crucial care. | ||
| The VA denied it, said, no, go back to your VA clinic where they're now waiting for another month just to get a meeting. | ||
| Why do they deny it if we have choice? | ||
| Because the VA decided, based on their matrix, that it costs too much for that specialty care, go back to the government-run system and wait in line. | ||
| At that point, it's too late. | ||
| At that point, their cancer may have gotten that much worse. | ||
| This is what government-run health care looks like when the veteran doesn't get to choose. | ||
| Important issue. I've got to say, this is one where I joined with a congresswoman and tried to ban you. | ||
| I've been trying to keep you off the weekend show for a long time. | ||
| I know you have. It doesn't work. She banned you from a town hall. | ||
| I don't know how she did it. You are stuck with me. | ||
| Right. I'm looking for you. Yeah, AOC banning Fox News from covering the events that's taking place. | ||
| You know what? You would imagine that they want people to know about all the crazy stuff that they're doing if it's positive. | ||

| They should be hammering this in like no tomorrow because this is the freedom of the press and they always talk about Trump is attacking the press. | ||

| See, it's okay for the liberals to do this craziness, but it's not okay for conservatives, Republicans to say that, you know, CNN or MSNBC or the rest of them can't come to an event. | ||
| Can you imagine if someone on the right, a Republican, said this about the liberal media? | ||
| They would be talking about it day in, day in, and then they would be blaming President Trump. | ||
| They would be going after President Trump. | ||

| In fact, Jim Costa, Congressman Costa, came up. | ||
| And said I had to leave and then said the police needed to be called. | ||

| T.J. Cox is the congressman for my district. | ||

| But I was rejected, just like Fox News was rejected by AOC now. | ||

| The truth is, they don't want us there because they don't want us showing them for the liars, the hypocrites, the anti-American leftists that they are. | ||

| So, tell us, what made you decide to write this book, and how long have you been seeing that the press has been attacking the Well, I'll tell you what, I mean, the only reason I got into the reporting game was because in 2015 I realized that the press was totally full of garbage. | ||
| I wasn't even political before then. | ||
| I sort of hadn't been following along, but I decided I wanted to be informed during the 2016 election. | ||
| And when I saw that the press had decided to call every Republican candidate for president during the primaries a racist, I started thinking to myself, well, they called, you know... | ||
| Mitt Romney a racist in 2012, and they called John McCain a racist in 2008, and they always called George Bush a racist. | ||
| I don't even like any of these people, but I'm thinking either the Republicans are the dumbest people on earth, and they keep running racists, or somebody's lying to me. | ||
| And then I started to go down the sort of media rabbit hole and finding out all about how the press has literally been labeling conservatives right-wingers Anybody who's sort of right of Stalin as a bigot and a homophobe and a racist and all these other things for years, I started tuning into real news like Infowars here. | ||
| And the media career just sort of took off from there. | ||
| Big League politics was budding just around the time where Trump got elected and And ever since then, I've been pretty focused on how awful the mainstream press is. | ||
| So having written so many stories about it, I decided to write the book about it. | ||
| Yeah, you know, that's awesome. | ||
| And you know what? You hit a really good point. | ||
| How they always said that, you know, Bush and all of these Republicans, Mitt Romney and John McCain at the time, you know, they all said that he was racist. | ||
| And even President Trump, they're all racist. | ||
| And they all point out, you know, because they're white men, that they all have to have to be racist because they're white men. | ||
| You know, I've been talking about how there's a war on white people for the past year and a half at least. | ||

| I mean, because that's exactly what they do. | ||
| They know they're going to run somebody and they're going to call them racist no matter what, if they're racist or not. | ||

| So in a lot of cases, it's not so much about what the press does report on versus what it does not report on. | ||
| So, oftentimes, they'll leave out critical elements of a story that are factually true that do not fit the desired narrative, while including also critical elements of the story that are factually true that do support the narrative. | ||
| The other really interesting thing about... | ||
| Some of the big news stories, the bombshell news stories, is that most of them have turned out to be false, particularly during the Russian collusion conspiracy theory investigation. | ||
| Nearly every bombshell that I could find Including, for example, if Don Jr. | ||
| got the WikiLeaks emails before they were publicly available. | ||
| Several other cases of that. | ||
| Nearly every single bombshell turns out to be false. | ||
| It had to be either retracted or corrected in some form. | ||
| So I go over that a lot in the book. | ||
| I talk about, there's a whole chapter on the quote-unquote fact-checkers who I believe are some of the biggest enemies Because websites like Snopes and Portifact work with the big tech companies like Facebook and Twitter to decide what is and is not real news and then ban content or censor content based on what their version of the truth is. | ||
| These are big problems. | ||
| It's important for us to understand how the enemy operates In order for us to be able to be successful in getting our message out there. | ||
| So this is a lot of what's for the fodder for the book, and I think it's important that people read it and understand it and really fight back against the press. | ||
| Yeah, you know, why do you think The press, what is the end game? | ||
| Let me just ask you that. What do you think the end game for them doing this? | ||
| See, I'm subject to believe that it's a social program that they're implementing here. | ||
| To push a certain narrative, to get people to feel and think a certain way, and then get people to react. | ||
| You know, when they put out all of this information and then people act a certain way. | ||
| What do you think the end game is? | ||
| And do you think I'm close to it at all? | ||
| Well, I think you make a fascinating point. | ||
| I think that if Americans stop looking at the media as though it's news and start looking at it like it's programming, not only will you understand What the media is doing to you on a daily basis, but you'll also be able to predict what they're going to do in certain situations. | ||
| So, for example, a perfect example of this is what happened in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday with the bombings. | ||
| If you start looking at the news as programming, then you would have been able to predict the Washington Post article, which most people saw, which the headline was something to the effect of You know, the bombings on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka anger people on the far right. | ||
| You were never going to get real coverage of what happened there or a condemnation of bombings, terrorist attacks against Christians. | ||
| Instead, if you had been looking at the media as programming, you would have been able to predict that they were going to tell you that there was some kind of far-right conspiracy theory nutjobs who were going to be angry over this. | ||
| As if you shouldn't be angry that Christians were attacked in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, right? | ||
| I think you're dead on. | ||
| I think it's programming. I think we should all start looking at it like it's programming and then deprogram ourselves. | ||
| Yeah, you know what? I saw the same thing kind of happen when it took place in New Zealand. | ||
| Because, you know, in New Zealand, even before the smoke cleared, they were already saying that it was white supremacists and they were blaming President Trump. | ||
| And, you know, his whole manifesto said they were trying to say that this is for Trump, this is for Trump. | ||
| He did this for Trump. And come to find out, it was total lies. | ||
| And they never even retracted the lies that they put out there when everyone found out that he was a total leftist. | ||
| He was a total leftist. | ||
| He hated President Trump, but the liberal media still pushed a certain message to get people to believe it. | ||
| And they're very good at convincing at having people believe the crazy stuff that they're talking about. | ||
| Well, that's right. In my mind, that manifesto was designed specifically to bait the mainstream press, right? | ||
| Because at one point he talked about Trump being the savior of the white race or something like that. | ||
| But at another point, he completely flip-flops and he says, yeah, but like American democracy is bad and my ideal system of governance would be like what the communist Chinese do, right? | ||
| And so he wrote that manifesto to bait the press at every turn on every possible issue and let them run wild with it, which is exactly what they did. | ||
| And they're never going to rationally and objectively look at that and say and understand that they were being baited. | ||
| Rather, they're just going to go for the kill shot story so that they can get as many clicks as possible, which is sort of the sub-theme of my book, right? | ||
| Why does the press behave the way it behaves? | ||
| Well, the reason it behaves the way it behaves is because there's money involved, right? | ||
| The more clicks they get, the more revenue they make. | ||
| The more ads they sell, the more revenue they make. | ||
| So in the bottom line, it's just like anything else. | ||
| The press is in this game to make money. | ||
| And so they're going to give you the clickbait headlines rather than the actual news. | ||
| That's just a truism of the mainstream press. | ||
| No, I see the same thing. | ||
| And they come out and they'll say X, Y, Z, and you need to believe G. And they're manipulating people on a different scale. | ||
| And because we have social media... | ||
| And they're trying to control social media where they haven't been able to control it. | ||
| And that's why they censor a lot of conservatives, etc., etc. | ||
| Because the liberal media, they're losing ratings. | ||
| They're attacking the American people. | ||
| And so let me ask you, in your book, do you address how the liberal media keeps saying that Trump is putting the press in harm's way? | ||
| Because to me, the stuff that they're doing, they're doing it to themselves, not President Trump. | ||
| Yes, absolutely. | ||
| That's sort of a fundamental premise of the book, is that if it weren't for President Trump, the press would be dead already, right? | ||

| You know, for all the reporting I've done on the fake news, and for all of the sort of time I've spent writing this book and studying how they behave, I still did not expect them to simply ignore the Mueller report that completely exonerates President Trump from his bogus collusion or obstruction of justice, | ||
| and I'm still fuzzy on how you can obstruct justice, When there was no justice to be obstructed, I did not expect them to simply pretend like that did not happen and carry on with the narrative. | ||
| So in some ways, the depths to which they'll sink in order to bring down President Trump and to try and stop our American nationalist populist revival is still surprising to me. | ||
| I don't know what the floor is for these people. | ||
| You know, you would think that after being caught with the lies so many times that they would just, okay, we need to move on. | ||

| But then you have other members in Congress that don't want to let it go. | ||

| They're trying to say because he thought about firing Mueller that he has to go. | ||

| That's the only reason why we're still talking about this is because one phony document was blown up by the entire corporate press for two years. | ||

| We can go out and start a news website that now gets millions and millions of clicks a month It has no corporate money behind it, no special interests behind it, and we can get our message out there. | ||
| The press is freer than it has ever been, yet the mainstream media, which is upset that people like me, just an average guy who just became a journalist less than two years ago, is now encroaching upon their territory, which they view as holy or somehow sacred because They went to New York University and got the communications, got the journalism. | ||
| The fact of the matter is, everybody is a journalist. | ||
| Everybody who has a cell phone and who can go out and film people and ask questions is a journalist. | ||
| Anybody can start a news website. | ||
| The press is as free as it's ever going to be with the internet, so long as we can make sure that the big tech companies can't shut down Websites like mine and websites like yours, right? | ||
| Which is what they're trying to do. | ||
| The only danger to freedom of the press, it is not President Trump. | ||
| It is the tech companies. | ||
| It is the Silicon Valley billionaires who hate conservatives like you and I. That's where the First Amendment questions come into play. | ||
| It's not when President Trump rightfully labels the mainstream press as the enemy of the people, of the ordinary Americans who voted Donald Trump into office in the first place. | ||
| Yeah, you're absolutely right. | ||
| And the press is constantly pushing that it was Russia and they never want to talk about it was the American people that actually put President Trump in the office, you know, and the enemy of the state. | ||
| That is the press. | ||
| It's not the people. | ||
| It's not President Trump. You know, I mean, when do they let me ask you this. | ||
| What do you think it's going to take? | ||
| For the liberal media to start just reporting the news and stop attacking the President of the United States? | ||
| What do you think is going to have to happen? | ||
| Well, you know, I'm not sure that they'll ever stop attacking President Trump. | ||
| What I think they could do to at least salvage, you know, whatever iota of credibility they have left is to just come out and be honest with people, okay, and say, hey, look, You know, we're left-wing news organizations. | ||
| If CNN were to come out tomorrow and say, look, we have a left-wing bias, as you guys already know, Well, then at least people might respect that. | ||
| People might say, hey, okay, well now I understand where CNN's coming from. | ||
| I understand that the propagandists of the Democratic Party, right? | ||
| The thing, the difference between sort of what we do in independent media and what the corporate press does is we wear our biases on our sleeves. | ||
| We're conservatives. We write conservative news. | ||
| If you don't read it, or if you don't want to read it, then don't, right? | ||
| The corporate press sort of operates under the guise of objectivity, but anybody with half a brain can see that they're not objective. | ||
| If they would just come out and admit their biases, the news media space would be a much more honest place, right? | ||
| People would freely be able to choose where they want to get their news from, and the people would understand what they're looking at when they look at different news sources. | ||
| So I think that that's really the only way out for the press. | ||
| And they're never going to stop attacking Trump, but if they want their credibility, then they can at least be honest. | ||

| And so where is the free press in all of this? | ||
| Why would we have people who supposedly are, you know, they are the press, attacking other members of the press? | ||

| So Oliver Darcy over at CNN is the biggest perpetrator of this, right? | ||
| He's intentionally come after Alex Jones. | ||
| He intentionally went after Laura Loomer. | ||
| He works for the so-called free press, and his sole role seems to be to get other journalists deplatformed and banned from the Internet. | ||
| I don't understand how his network or he personally can claim that he supports the free press when all he does is whine to his big tech overlords trying to get other journalists deplatformed because he doesn't like what they have to say. | ||
| I mean, it's truly a ridiculous paradigm, isn't it? | ||
| It's remarkable. | ||
| I mean, you know, I'm constantly saying that it reminds me of Nazi Germany and how you have people attacking other people because you're simply saying something that you disagree with. | ||
| And then when you have the press of all people. | ||
| That's not fighting for people's First Amendment. | ||
| They're not fighting for the freedom of the press. | ||
| I mean, do they really think that by them attacking like Alex Jones and other people of the free press that one day that they're not going to be on that chopping block? | ||
| I mean, you would think that they would do everything they can to fight for the free press. | ||
| Of course. I mean, as soon as their, you know, sort of mainstream viewpoints go out of style, which is happening rapidly due to the proliferation of the independent media, they're going to be next. | ||
| I mean, they don't understand this. | ||
| They might be last to be eaten by the mob, but they're still at some point going to get eaten by the mob, right? | ||
| So in some sense, we're all in this together. | ||
| We all have to protect our First Amendment rights, and it's definitely not helpful when big corporate press tries to shut down outlets like yours and mine, which are independent. | ||
| We really do need to fight back against that. | ||
| But in my mind, the corporate press serves only one purpose, and that purpose is to work as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party. | ||
| There's a whole chapter in my book about false hate crimes, hate hoaxes, which we've seen come onto a national stage after Covington Catholic and Justice Mollett, right? | ||
| Unfortunately, those two incidents, which sort of highlighted that dynamic, didn't make it into the book. | ||
| The book was already in editing by the time those things happened. | ||
| But there are hundreds and hundreds of fake hate crimes that happen every single year, And the press runs with them and they sow division among ordinary Americans. | ||
| And then when the hate crimes turn out to be proven false, the press never comes back and updates their stories. | ||
| It's absurd. And so not only are they working as the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, but they're also... | ||
| Ripping apart the social fabric of this country. | ||
| They're turning people against each other. | ||
| They're pushing us further and further away from each other as human beings and closer to what I believe is going to be a civil war. | ||
| And when that time comes around, the press will be to blame for that, for sowing division. | ||
| And then not only do they do that, but on top of it, they blame the president for exactly what it is that they're doing. | ||
| Which is a liberal, you know, Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals, you know, playbook number one, right? | ||
| Blame your enemy for what it is that you yourself are doing. | ||
| The press is, the corporate press is one of the biggest ills, stains on national discourse. | ||
| They truly are the enemy. | ||
| And that's why I wrote the book. | ||
| Yeah, you know what? They are the enemy. | ||
| And day in and day out, They'll bring up the whole fact that President Trump is attacking them. | ||
| And, you know, just like the gentleman overseas that was killed supposedly by the Saudi prince, right? | ||
| They said that that happened because of President Trump. | ||
| You know, I mean, why do they think that the American people don't understand what they're doing? | ||
| I know, granted, there are a lot of people that will listen to the Communist News Network And believe everything that they're saying, the leftist media, they believe all the stuff that they're putting out. | ||
| But for the most part, and you just touched on it, a lot of people are waking up to what they're doing because they're getting caught in lie after lie after lie. | ||
| And then they never go back and say, you know what, well, we got this one wrong. | ||
| We apologize because, you know, the press is like, they're like refs, right? | ||
| We call the shots on the court, and if we get it wrong, you have to accept what we just said as facts. | ||
| That's the amazing part about all of this. | ||
| But then they attack people like Alex Jones, and you say, well, if Alex Jones misspoke, or he said this and he said that, what about all of the stuff that they've done that's damaging to the American people as a whole? | ||
| Right now, you can't even go out on the street without possibly being attacked for wearing a simple hat. | ||
| That's right. So what about the mainstream press's consistent attacks against white people in America? | ||
| So I'm fortunate to be an Arab, right? | ||
| So I get to kind of view this from a neutral perspective. | ||
| But the only racism that I see that's acceptable in mainstream discourse today is racism against white people. | ||
| There's a whole chapter in the book on this. | ||
| You have an editorial board member at the New York Times, Sarah John, who openly despises white people. | ||
| And yet when that news broke, the New York Times didn't do anything. | ||
| They kept her on board. | ||
| They didn't even reprimand her. | ||
| They didn't say, oh, maybe we made a mistake in hiring her. | ||
| No, they continued to let her stay there, which means that the New York Times is complicit in anti-white hatred and anti-white racism. | ||
| So it goes back to... | ||
| One of the biggest problems with the mainstream press is that they're sowing division among ordinary people. | ||
| Conservatives used to be happy just to be left alone. | ||
| That was the whole premise, right? | ||
| But the mainstream press kept poking the bear and poking the bear and poking the bear and saying, white people are bad, they're racist, and saying, conservatives are bigots, they're homophobes, they're Islamophobes, they hate everybody, right? | ||
| And eventually, when we got to 2016, And Donald Trump sort of entered the national stage and he looked at the press like the dweebs that they are and crushed them like a bug under his shoe and said, I don't care what you say about me. | ||
| You can call me whatever names you want. | ||
| You can call my supporters whatever names you want. | ||
| We don't believe you anymore. | ||
| All of a sudden, the air was let out of the press, right? | ||
