		But here's the thing. And we'll also be talking about the college admissions scandal.
		In fact, I may even do a focus on this.
		But we got all of these big issues in front of us, and we just need solutions, and there are common sense solutions.
		But here's the thing. There's something coming down the pipeline right now, and I was harsh on President Trump yesterday.
		People seem to be upset when you do that, but I think it's all fair.
		I still support Trump.
		But this is something I don't know if he even understands or if most of the public understands, but it's going to affect all of us, and there really is nothing stopping the momentum right now.
		So let's go to this clip from CBS Sacramento.
		Where a fourth student has been diagnosed with cancer at an elementary school that has a cell tower right next to it.
unidentified		Cell phone towers are spread throughout the community, but it's this particular one that parents say...
		They tell us it's 100% environmental, the type of tumor he has.
		Monica Ferulli's son Mason was the second child to be diagnosed with cancer in just three years at Weston Elementary.
		He was 10 years old and walked by this cell phone tower daily.
		It's... it's indescribable.
		It's really tough.
		It's one of the hardest things I've been through.
		Joe Prime's son, Kyle, was the first.
		Diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2016 and two more kids were diagnosed this year.
		It just seems like a coincidence is no longer a reason for all this illness.
		They believe it's this cell phone tower that's harming their kids.
		These kids shouldn't be guinea pigs and we shouldn't be taking chances with the children's lives.
		The district has had several tests done saying the tower is safe and meets federal regulations.
		But some families weren't convinced and hired an expert.
		I wouldn't send my kids there at all.
		It absolutely is dangerous.
		Eric Windheim is an electromagnetic radiation specialist and found levels far higher than the district's experts.
		It's the worst possible time of their life to be exposed.
		He says it's not just a cell tower, it transmits wireless frequencies.
		Instead of only going 300 yards like regular Wi-Fi, Wi-Max can go 30 miles.
		Parents want the mask removed, but the district won't budge.
		And while the district has sent plenty of letters to those parents, those parents tell me that this fight is far from over.

		Now, I mean, I don't know if I should go around and be asking the crew, or it's like, hey, you know, how many kids from your high school ever developed cancer or elementary?
		And I look back at my whole life as a student, and there was one kid that had cancer.
		He's no longer with us, but he was born with it.
		Basically, miracle case that he even lived to be like 20 years old.
		Brought joy to everyone's life he ever touched.
		But you have four kids...
		You have four kids that all got diagnosed with cancer from this one elementary school.
		Clearly, the issue is the cell phone tower.
		I mean, that is so obvious.
		It's pathetic that now the district is saying, sorry, we're not moving the tower.
		Think about that.
		Who are...
		The people in charge of Sacramento are going to now have, I bet you, a fifth child develop cancer because of that cell phone tower.
		So that just shows you how unbelievable it is that our government won't do anything about it.

		Now, I'm so burnt out on the treason that we're dealing with in this country that I just don't even want to go down that path today, quite frankly.
		And there's plenty of other news that I can talk about, and I will, and I'm going to get all the news out, all the updates, all the latest.
		But I'm thinking about doing just an old-school talk radio-style show, maybe for the final two hours.
		Where I just take your calls on one subject and that would be the college admissions scandal.
		Because I believe that there are solutions to this.
		Because it's like...
		So we've got all these different problems.
		We've got problems with the border. We've got problems with the tech giants and social media.
		We've got problems with the college universities.
		Well, where are the solutions?
		Why are we not being offered real solutions that are logical, reasonable, make sense, and solve this problem, but maintain the societal and cultural infrastructure for the future?
		And I just look at the college admissions scandal As the perfect example of how we could actually use this to fix something we've known has been so broken.
		It's like the same thing with this whole Mueller probe, Obama, FISA, Spygate, let Hillary Clinton off for the illegal server and all the crimes she committed, Gate.
		It's like the same thing.
		You just look at this issue and it's a microcosm of what is a larger issue.
		Everybody knows the government's damn corrupt.
		I mean, whatever your political beliefs are, the government is corrupt as the day is long.
		We all know it. Now we're starting to see it.
		Let's figure out what's going on here.
		Let's find some solutions. Tech giants.
		Yeah, they're corrupt.
		They're engaging in censorship.
		They're spying on everything we do.
		They're collecting all of our data.
		It's not good. Okay, well, we're learning about all of it now.
		There's a criminal investigation going on, so let's do something about it.
		Let's find a solution to this.
		And now you have an issue that we probably should have addressed years ago coming to the front.
		What are the real repercussions for somebody...

		What legal precedent is there to say that you're actually held accountable for all the terms and conditions you ever agreed to digitally that you never read?
		What is the legal precedent that says that they could even do that?
		And so I'm sure there's been some stuff but minor, nobody talks about it.
		Now you've got this huge criminal investigation going on under Facebook.
		Or into Facebook for their data deals.
		And so now all of a sudden it comes to the front.
		What about those terms and conditions?
		Is Facebook allowed to spy on everything you do, collect all your data, and sell it?
		Are they allowed to do that?
		Well, their argument would be you signed the terms and conditions.

		Like, he talks like this?

		It's like this weird thing he does.
		But then you realize everything the guy does is fake.
		His name is fake. His mannerisms are based off Obama's.
		Even the picture they took for Time Magazine was fake.
		It was their old Reagan photo.
		Everything the guy does is fake.
		And then I realized something.
		Here's a guy whose family is worth billions of dollars.
		Married into even more money.
		The people in El Paso think he comes from some gangster family or something.
		Some crime mob family.

		And so the rest of the Democrats were like, dude, we're dying here.

		And I don't remember the exact date I said that this emergency declaration would actually be rubber meeting the road.

		Nope, cancer's good. Trump says, let's breathe air.
		They say, no, don't breathe the air.
		It's bad. Trump rescues 500 puppies from a burning down building.
		They say he let a rat die.
		So they've just done the political math where just going against Trump on anything is considered good political capital in their mind.
		Or for some reason, I guess they're so criminally corrupt and maybe they're just scared of Donald Trump.
		But either way... Yes, you had Republicans voting against the national emergency, but we knew this was going to happen.
		He's going to have to fight them in court.
		It's going to be a battle, and it could be months before this thing even really takes off.
		And I already did the analysis of this, and I put my date on it.

		But while you have the Democrats panicking about all of this, you'd think that when they actually sit down for congressional sessions that they would be talking about this, right?

		Is that legal? Is that a legal out for them in these criminal investigations into their data sharing?

	Shut down the major universities for a year.
	Launch an investigation.
	You're going to be saving your states hundreds of thousands or hundreds of millions even in state revenue costs.
	You're going to be doing a fair investigation to find out how this stuff got so corrupt and out of control.
	And then you can reevaluate as a public the actual real value of college.
	And then you can look at these endowment funds out of the Ivy Leagues and shut down the Ivy Leagues.
	Not that all the Ivy Leagues are bad.
	I mean, Harvard's obviously the worst.
	I mean, so they've already got hundreds of billions of dollars stowed up in all of these endowments to these Ivy League schools.
	And Texas. The University of Texas.
	I say shut them all down.
	Take that endowment money.
	Relieve the student loan debt.
	Do a real investigation into how these colleges got so corrupted.
	I mean, there needs to be like an oversight.
	I mean, it's ridiculous.
	I remember the chancellor at the University of Missouri lived in the most palatial mansion in the entire county, overlooking the beautiful bluffs.
	The football coaches at Missouri got paid the most.
	The basketball coaches at Missouri got paid the most.
	It's a joke! The athletes all got the exact same blacked out F-150.

		What ends up happening and what ended up happening Once you've got all these different student loan programs set up, the university, the people that run these, A, they're not stupid.
		B, they're in it to make money.
		And so what do they do? They immediately jack up the price of college.

		Maybe I could do a full investigation and do a report on this or something.
		But I bet you the price of the average...
		State University, since the year 2000, has probably gone up, I would say, more than 10%.
		And why do you think that is?
		Because they learned real quick, oh, the banks are the ones paying for this, and these dumbass students, they don't know any better.
		The parents don't seem to know any better either.
		So yeah, we're going to jack up the price, and guess what?
		They're still going to pay for it, even though the education is actually worse.

		You can imagine where my logic took me.

		They should fire all those that were a part of it.

		But it definitely doesn't stop the fact that, again, here at the University of Texas in Austin, the highest paid people on staff are the football coach and the basketball coach.
		Now you tell me, what does the football coach and the basketball coach do for education at University of Texas?

		I had a feeling it would go there.
		Because the universities have been so corrupted and it's gotten so out of control and we know something needs to be done about this and now we have a window of opportunity.
		And one of our producers around here, Scott, was talking to me in the break about taking it to the next level and starting to ask the question philosophically, who runs these universities and look at what they've been doing since they got in control of them.

		Break down what you're saying that was so spot on in the break there.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Yeah, I was saying that you have to take this to the next step because it's not the right that is controlling colleges.
		Colleges across the country are all very left-leaning.
		It's the left that is dictating what the cost is going to be for these colleges.
		It's the left that is getting most of the political donations from colleges.
		And it's the left that keeps telling people that they have to go to college.
		And not only that, now it's the left that's also fighting for free college.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Well, and that was the one too that struck me.
		Talk about because that's like the crazy twist here is it's the left that's really bastardized this the education system and then jacked up the prices.
		And so, yeah, it's like they're trying to cover their own hide from the from everything they've done to the universities to say, oh, it's like, oh, crap.
		Well, we just completely screwed up the university.
		So we'll just give it to him for free.
		And so, like, that's their whole like veil, like, oh, don't look at how we corrupted it.
		Just have it for free.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		But except there's nothing that's free.
		So they'll just do just like they did with the college loans, where it's a government-backed thing, and that's when all the prices for schooling went up is because the government was backing all these loans, more people were getting into school, prices skyrocketed, and now what they'll do is when it becomes free...
		If you're at the University of Texas and you know that everybody's going to get a free college, are you going to make the price more or less if you know you're going to get the money from the government?
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		And think about this one, too, that just hit me.
		Think about how much these universities jack up cost of rent.
		They take what the normal price for rent would be in a certain area, and I bet they more than double it.
		Because I remember looking at the bills for my dorms, And then, or looking at what it would have cost to live in the dorm versus what it costs to live off campus in, say, renting a house or an apartment or something, and it's like a quarter of the price.
		So think about that, too. They're also screwing these kids over because you don't have a choice.
		They force you to live in a dorm your freshman year at almost every major university, and so they're forcing you to pay them four times what fair rent would be.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Very much so. And then, like I said, this is just a big circle of money that goes back to the Democrats.
		Not only have they jacked up the price on all these colleges, but like I said, it's the colleges that are all donating to the left.
		I had Justin pull up a thing on Open Secrets to show how much money that the left is giving.

		It's the left that pushes you to go to college and then get the graduate degree.
		Whereas if you listen to conservatives in media, they'll tell you you don't need college.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Well, it's one of those things where what's better?
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		To go to college, get $100,000 in debt, or go out and get a job that pays you $30,000 a year, and then you're up $120,000 without the debt.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Well, and I think this is something that really parents and kids are finally starting to have a conversation on.
		I don't think that they used to have this conversation until it got so out of hand.
		Because, I mean, I used to try to...
		Let's say, mentor the youth a lot.
		A lot of kids ask me questions about college.
		And I would always say, you know, if you know what you want to do in college and you're sure of it, then you can go to the university thing.
		And if you do good and you're a success, it'll be fine and it'll all work itself out.
		If your parents are willing to pay for it, that's a totally different thing.
		You don't have to go into debt. Then, you know, go ahead and take advantage.
		But then I always use this.
		Let's say it'll cost your parents, let's say, $100,000 to send you to a school to get a four-year degree.
		Now, what if I instead said, what if your parents cut you a $100,000 check tomorrow and said start a business?
		What would you rather do? What do you think the students normally say?
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		My guess is that they would start the business.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Of course they would start the business.
		But what it is, it's not...
		It's making it real to the students, the value of money, because most kids don't understand the real value or the real economics of anything until you kind of get into the world.
		I would say out of high school was kind of my first experience.
		I mean, I always had a job since I was like 14, but it wasn't until I was 18 that my parents were like, you know, you're on your own.
		So, I just feel like that's one way to get students to understand, like, the value of money.
		Because someone else paying for something they don't understand, you know, getting a loan and all this, they don't understand all this crap.
		But as soon as you're like, hey, would you like $100,000?
		Whoa, all of a sudden they understand it.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Well, and that's a great exercise to go through.
		If I gave you $100,000, what would you do?
		And if somebody says, I want to be a basket weaver, well, go weave baskets.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		I think I'd give you $100 and you could probably do that.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Well, you don't have to go to college to do that.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		If you say that, hey, I want to be a politician, well, then maybe you should go to college to get the interaction with other people and take an active part in a large body.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		And really, I think that that's the most valuable thing you get out of college.
		I mean, I was lucky. I mean, I was working professionally in radio before I graduated from college, and I was lucky.
		And honestly, this is some advice for young people listening.
		If you want to make your school life and college a lot easier, become friends with the deans, become friends with your professors, get to know them.
		They'll make it a lot easier on you, as long as you do the work, obviously.
		But, like, I was already working.
		I wish – I mean, I don't know if I could say – I kind of wish I never went to college.
		Part of me says I don't know if I can really say that.
		But I was already working professionally and doing everything I wanted to do before I graduated college.
		I didn't need the education I got at college.
		I didn't need it to do any of this.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Well, it all comes down to what you want to do.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		If your whole point of going to college is learn how to socialize, save the money.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		I was really good at that before college, exactly.
scott bronson ▲ ● ▼		Just save the money, make a friend at the college.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		I mean, I think I could drink, I mean, okay, let's be real.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		I think I could probably drink 20 beers before college, maybe 30 after.

		She does... The girl is really successful even on her own.
		So it's all an ego thing with her parents.
		Like her mom wants to say, my daughter did this at USC. Like she even admits, she's like, I don't go to school.
		She's like, I don't go to class.
		I don't care about school. I just go for the parties.

		So they pay this money not to build a rec center, not to build a library, not to build a computer lab, just to make sure that their kids get in there and get all the benefits.

		I mean, folks, if you don't understand what's going on when you see that blatant fraud happening right in front of your face, you're dead already.
		And so... Why wouldn't the Democrats want on the 2020 sentence the question, are you a U.S. citizen?
		Because they don't want you to know that there's 50 million illegal immigrants in this country and who knows how many of them are voting.
		They don't want you to know.
		They don't want the country to know.
		They just want to try to steal every election, and of course it works for them.
		They're the socialists, they're the ones that want all these people on welfare programs, so they bring in all the people that need to be on welfare programs, tell them that they have to vote Democrat to get the welfare, and then say, guess what, we're shutting down the border, you can come right across.
		And then if you just try to figure out what the hell's going on, how many of them are here, they say, nope, you can't do that either.

		Tanuza Hassan of Minneapolis, shocker, allegedly told police that she wanted the school to burn to the ground and that her intent was to hurt people.
		Because of what she says has happened to Muslim land and that nobody cares.
		She says, you guys are lucky that I don't know how to build a bomb because I would have done that.

		Thanks for taking my call. I just wanted to comment on the college tuition scandal.
		You know, eight years ago, tuition, I went to a Division I Midwest school, like you did, and it was 3 to 4K for 12 to 15 hours about eight years ago, and I'm looking at doing grad school now.
		It's 3,200 for eight hours.
		So the cost is definitely skyrocketing, and we know it's a racket.
		A couple, like an hour ago, your caller talked about the value of education and the real-world viability.
		There's a reason that people scoff at underwater basket weaving or professor of thinkology, interdisciplinary women's and gender studies, applied creative writing.
		Because unless you're a professor of that thing, you're pretty much not going to get a real world job with that degree.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Or the only place you can get a job is within the university.
unidentified		Exactly, yeah. A professor like, you know, a doctor of thinkology or a professor of obscure readings, whatever it is.
		But the other thing is that stands out to me as not making sense is how is it more competitive?
		Because I have cousins and stuff that are younger, and I hear this too, that getting into college is way more competitive and the grade points are, you know, you've got to have all the extracurriculars and et cetera, et cetera.
		But it's more competitive, it's more expensive, but there's still more people attending.
		It doesn't really make sense.
		You know, you had that other caller making a point about the government backing up the student loan debt, and now it's up to $1.5 trillion.
		Well, duh, because they know they can get away with charging what they charge.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Well, I think to maybe answer the one issue that you raised there, how it's that anomaly, competition is up, price is up, but enrollment is always up.
		Well, there are still a lot of first generations of college attendees in America.
		I mean, there's still a lot of people that are the first to go to college from their family.
		So you kind of still have that phenomenon happening for maybe a couple more years or so.
		But I would say we're probably in the waning stages of first generation college attendees.
		So that might be when that anomaly changes.
		But that's just what came to my head.
unidentified		Yeah, I mean, and that makes sense.
unidentified		You know, eventually, I think we're going to reach a tipping point where trade schools are going to become more viable again, and people are going to pick a more specific real-world degree.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Or President Trump said, well, trade schools, I mean, that's just, you know, you're guaranteed work, you know.
		But President Trump said apprenticeships.
		I mean, for me, that was my big thing.
		I mean, I always knew I would be in media.
		I mean, once I pretty much figured out, you know, when I didn't...
		When I wasn't going to be the best player on varsity in high school, I wasn't going to be a professional athlete.
		You learn real quick. And I realized I wanted to go into media.
		And so I began writing for my student newspaper.
		By the time I was in college, I was a senior staff editor and everything, writing.
		And it was all about going into the field and learning media, learning media relations, learning how to get a story, learning how to get to events, learning how to get credentials.
		Eventually, I made it into radio and now radio-TV, and so it's kind of just multifaceted.
		But the point is, It's getting the real world experience.
		Building a resume is 10 times more valuable than most college degrees.
		I didn't even have to take a class on how to catch a hat on my head.
		That's just a natural ability.
		The crew is pulling that up.
		But I agree. I think that it's all about real world experience, building a resume.
		And then to go back to what you originally said.
		If you walk into a job interview and you're like, yes, I'm an expert in women's studies and human diversity programs, I mean, the average person hiring is going to be looking at that like, okay, well, what do you do for me next?
unidentified		Exactly. So what?
		One more thing, tie it back into the other thing you mentioned earlier as kind of a fourth topic.
		Mental health issues are rising.
		You know, we know autism is on the rise.
		IQs are dropping. You can compare it to the Amish, you know, where they don't vaccinate or eat GMO and processed foods, which they have almost zero incidence of autism.
		And you couple that with over-diagnosis of things like ADHD and depression and all that, coupled with the everyone-gets-a-trophy-for-participating-in-the-victim-Olympics ideology, the result is a bunch of unstable people with minimal skills, minimal real-world experience, like you were saying, and they don't even understand basic money management.
		Just like the article you can pull up from Tuesday, I think it was CNBC, the correlation with opioid use and prescription drug rates and labor force participation.
		The more people are on painkillers and all that kind of stuff somewhere, the lower the labor force participation is.

		Because people aren't doing anything. You really nailed it there at the beginning, and we need to make that comparison more.
		I mean, look at the Amish societies, and they don't have mental health issues.
		They don't have... Pediatric cancer.
		They don't have autism.
		And we know why. And then exactly, you look at the media and then also the increase of all these different diagnoses, the fact that they want to diagnose you to be like, oh, it's okay that you feel that way with anxiety.
		It's like, oh, I have anxiety.
		Oh, you must have a mental disorder.
		No, anxiety. Of course you have anxiety.
		You're on a damn planet hurtling through space.
		Like, what the? Oh, you have anxiety?

		Through my lifetime, I've pretty much seen trade schools just disappear.
		It used to be back in the day, like my father, when he was coming up, he was an injection mold maker.
		Well, he went to trade school.
		It wasn't considered college.
		When I owned my own business when I was younger in my life, it's one of those things that me being a business owner, I took on an apprenticeship program to bring people.
		They had to have certain skills to be able to start working for me, and I tested them on that.
		I feel almost as if, you know, more business owners and more corporate leaders would actually...
		There used to be an organization called Junior Achievement, did very much the same thing when kids were in high school.
		You know, they took on these apprenticeship programs and taught people the real-world skills and the real-world knowledge, you know, in order to look towards the future for themselves.
		If you kind of look at the sports, you guys were talking about the sports stuff earlier.
		Why is everyone paid so much and why such inequality with it?
		Well, look back at the Roman Empire.
		We have gladiators today.
owen shroyer ▲ ● ▼		Yeah, but that's, I mean, I understand what you're saying with the gladiators, modern day gladiators, you know, football players or whatever.
		But when it comes to the college stuff, I mean, it's just like, It's just a bunch of bullcrap.
		I mean, I've seen it firsthand from multiple angles, from media, from being inside it, having friends that played.
		They sit here and they say, oh, student first.
		Yeah, student first, student first.
		Bullcrap. Bullcrap.
		At a major university that has a football program that's all about winning, student, what's a student?
		They're lucky if they have time to study.

		So maybe that's something that applies to other, you know, labor force participation out there, but maybe that's the decline in trade schools.

		Federal prosecutors said in court papers that Ranieri, who was known inside the organization as Vanguard, engaged in relationship with two underage girls, including a 15-year-old.
		The government has images of the 15-year-old constituting child pornography that were created and possessed by Ranieri in electronic communications between the victim and Ranieri, reflecting their sexual relationship and indicating that it began when she was 15 years old.
