| None of the cataclysmic events that were predicted if Donald Trump stuck to his guns on the question of a border wall have come to pass. | ||
| Now here's the key thing to remember about Donald Trump. | ||
| Somebody I have known personally, closely for 40 years. | ||
| He is a man of enormous stubbornness. | ||
| I don't mean that as a criticism. | ||
| I mean that as a praise-worthy comment because when he sets his mind to a goal, when he dedicates himself to a principle, when he decides to get something done, He will not be shaken. | ||
| He will not be deterred. | ||
| He will not be stampeded. | ||
| He will not be buffaloed. | ||
| Donald Trump has dug his heels in, and Chuck Schumer better get used to it. | ||

| Harrison. You see, Richard Nixon's big mistake was ending For us, under President John F. Kennedy expanded under Democrat President Lyndon Baines Johnson and then ended on a timetable faster than the Pentagon wanted by Richard Milhouse Nixon. | ||
| Nixon also reached a strategic arms limitation agreement with the Soviets. | ||
| He opened the door to China. | ||
| He unilaterally saved Israel from annihilation in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. | ||

| They would sell out the country, they would sell out their mothers for re-election. | ||
| That's why the president would be wise now to reinvigorate his call for term limits. | ||
| You shouldn't be able to serve for life in the House or the Senate. | ||
| You should serve a couple terms and be out. | ||
| Fresh blood is good for the system. | ||
| Accumulation of too much power in too few hands has always proven to be a recipe for disaster. | ||
| I hope the president will return to his crusade for term limits. | ||

| And Trump just sort of let him say it. | ||
| He just sort of said, yeah, you know, we'll see. | ||

| In fact, in an exclusive interview on Fox News Sunday, Trump was asked by host Chris Wallace why he hadn't visited the troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan in the two years he served as commander in chief. | ||
| And he says, well, I think you'll see what what happened. | ||
| I think you'll see what I think you'll see that happen. | ||
| I'm sorry. | ||
| I think you'll see that happen. | ||
| The president said after Wallace noted that Obama and former president George W. Bush had each visited soldiers in war zones. | ||
| Quote, there are things that are being planned. | ||
| We don't want to talk about it because of, obviously, because of security reasons and everything else. | ||
| So, you know, this is just proof, folks, that there's more going on behind the scenes than you think with President Trump. | ||
| Now, we'll get into some more of that in the 4 o'clock hour when Owen calls in. | ||
| I know he has some... Some input to give to that, but we've got Roger Stone here with us, and I want to talk about this government shutdown a little bit more. | ||
| Now, as we know, it's been a total disaster. | ||
| From USA Today, trash cans on the mall are not being emptied during the shutdown, so God knows what's happening with the trash in these trash cans. | ||
| We can... We can only hope that Trump gives in and gets this trash picked up. | ||
| But President Trump has a Christmas message for Democrats. | ||
| The government is going to remain partially shut down until we have a wall or a fence. | ||
| And this goes to what you were saying, Roger, about his... | ||
| I guess you could call it stubbornness. | ||
| But it's stubbornness to a point. | ||
| He's still willing to negotiate. | ||
| He still wants to get the best deal. | ||
| It's a stubbornness saying... Look, this is what I promised my constituents. | ||
| This is what I was elected on. | ||
| So I'm going to fight for it and I'm going to get it done for them. | ||
| And, of course, the White House earlier this weekend presented a counteroffer that was between Trump's $5.7 billion price tag and the $1.3 billion that the Democrats had offered. | ||
| So he's still trying to put counteroffers, trying to move ahead, trying to find a middle ground. | ||
| And it seems like the Democrats are totally unwilling to budge. | ||
| And I think that that perception is getting out into the mainstream. | ||
| And it's fairly obvious Trump is is is willing to work and is willing to to negotiate and be flexible. | ||
| And the legislators who should be doing that are not willing to to be flexible. | ||
| They are being hard line and unwavering. | ||
| And, you know, in that way, they own this shutdown, you know, for good or bad. | ||
| What are your thoughts, Roger? | ||
| Well, I must tell you. | ||
| As you know, I'm a veteran of 10 national presidential campaigns, starting with Richard Nixon, three campaigns for one of our greatest presidents, Ronald Reagan, working for that great American patriot, Senator Bob Dole, and of course, working for Donald Trump. | ||
| And I must tell you, Donald Trump is the single toughest man I have ever met. | ||
| Now, that's saying quite a bit because Richard Nixon was pretty tough, and Senator Bob Dole, a man who was hit by a shell in World War II in the Italian campaign, and That he would never walk again, | ||
| that he would never have the use of his limbs again, that he would never feed himself again, fought his way back from total disability to total functionality, which was just a testimony to his will. | ||
| He is an enormously tough man. | ||
| Never a member of the Trilateral Commission. | ||
| Never a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. | ||
| Never down with the globalist agenda. | ||
| A real patriot. | ||
| In 2016, when the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump and Mike Pence, Bob Dole, 90 In a wheelchair. | ||
| Meanwhile, George Bush is in Cannabunkport endorsing and voting for Hillary Clinton. | ||
| So I have known some tough customers in my political experience. | ||

| But I have never known a man as tough as Donald Trump, as resolute as Donald Trump. | ||
| As the late Roy Cohn once said, Donald has ice water in his veins. | ||

| When he commits himself to a goal, he cannot be deterred. | ||
| Now, I've said many times in speeches across the country that unlike most of our recent presidents, Donald Trump did not run for president to be someone He already was someone. | ||
| The best known businessman on the face of the planet. | ||
| He didn't run for president to get a bigger plane or a bigger house or because he needed a bunch of people to kiss his derriere. | ||
| He ran for president to do something. | ||
| I go back to an interview he gave many years ago with Oprah Winfrey when she said, what about you, Donald? | ||
| Will you ever run for public office? | ||
| Do you think you would ever run for president? | ||
| And he said, no, I don't think so. | ||
| Unless things get so bad that I have no choice. | ||
| And that's where we were in 2016. | ||
| Donald Trump couldn't stand by and seen the inexorable decline of America. | ||
| He had to get into the fight. | ||
| And Harrison, the presidency of Donald Trump has cost him personally $2 billion in his net worth. | ||

| I think there's lots of ways to pay for the wall. | ||
| Now, Trump has floated the idea of using the military, and as we know, about six months ago, the Senate passed a $675 billion defense budget. | ||
| I say allocate a small percentage of that, a percentage of a percentage of that, and use it to fully fund the wall. | ||
| I think that's a great idea. | ||
| Other ideas have been floated to use the billions of dollars confiscated from El Chapo, the notorious drug lord. | ||
| Use that We're good to go. | ||
| I think Trump should end the war on drugs. | ||
| I have a feeling that he's angling that way just from votes here and rumors there. | ||
| And I think that this would be a way that he could get it done. | ||
| He could check all the boxes. | ||
| What do you think about that, Roger? Well, as you know, the president recently signed a bill which approved and legalized yet again the growing of industrial hemp. | ||
| The president has expressed a desire to move marijuana off the Schedule I controlled substance list, where it's currently listed with heroin and other drugs that are far more deleterious. | ||
| And I think that this is an idea that would strike fear in the hearts of core democratic constituencies because Donald Trump's criminal justice reform already demonstrates that he doesn't believe that you should be incarcerated for a first-time nonviolent crime such as the possession of marijuana. | ||
| And we're now at a point where more than 30 states have approved medicinal marijuana. | ||
| I think eight states have approved recreational marijuana. | ||
| We're moving towards a time that people will vote overwhelmingly to legalize the medicinal application of marijuana in every state. | ||
| Now, in my home state of Florida, sadly, we've legalized marijuana, but the legislature passed a law that said you could have it, but you couldn't smoke it. | ||
| That meant that people, veterans and poor people and others who use it for medicinal purposes, instead of opioids, would be required to have a more expensive vaping device or to pay for the even more expensive orals. | ||
| This is clearly discriminatory. | ||
| Now, John Morgan, who is a prominent trial attorney in the state, and really the man who put his money where his mouth was and personally pulled together the money and the campaign to put the question of legalization of medicinal marijuana on the Florida ballot as a constitutional amendment, Challenged that law in the courts and won. | ||
| Now, outgoing Governor Rick Scott, a man who is extraordinarily tone deaf, has challenged that, has appealed that decision, which he will most definitely lose. | ||
| Meanwhile, veterans and literally millions of sick people are being forced to consider opioids because they cannot get access to reasonably The politics of this are profound. | ||
| Nikki Freed, who is the newly elected Democratic Agriculture Commissioner, has called on Governor-elect Ron DeSantis to withdraw the boneheaded appeals of Rick Scott, a man who you may remember stole $1 billion from Medicaid. | ||
| And made a cool $163 million on his stock portfolio by pushing and signing legislation as governor that benefited his own pocketbook. | ||
| You would think that he would have some empathy for veterans and for sick people. | ||
| The use of medicinal marijuana, particularly for PTSD, has proven to be extraordinarily effective. | ||
| That's why I was a co-founder with John Morgan of the United States Cannabis Coalition. | ||
| Judge Andrew Napolitano, the HBO host Bill Maher, Congressman Matt Gaetz, many others joined our advisory board, and we are pushing the president to live up to his commitment made during the 2016 campaign in which he said he would support the access to medicinal marijuana by the millions of people who rely on it every day as medicine. | ||
| And the president announced his support for legislation by Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado that would protect our access to medicinal marijuana legalized at the state level. | ||
| Now, the greatest impediment to this, of course, was Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a man who acted like he didn't know what his boss wanted, a man who actually told the president when he was asked, what are you doing, Jeff? Oh, Mr. | ||
| President, I'm only opposed to recreational marijuana. | ||
| You're not for that, are you, Mr. | ||
| President? | ||
| Well, Jeff Sessions was lying to the president, lying to his face, because his opposition to marijuana was universal. | ||
| And in the states, the process for legalization of recreational marijuana is the same as the legalization process for medicinal marijuana. | ||
| Whether it be state law or constitutional amendment, you have to go through the same rigorous process of legalization. | ||
| So with Jeff Sessions out of the way, and with some of the people around the president understanding this issue, and given the very positive reaction to the president's bipartisan support of a criminal justice reform that ends the process of | ||
| Of penalizing those who are arrested with rock cocaine while people who are arrested with powdered cocaine serve a lesser term and usually actually escape prosecution. | ||
| The president gets it. | ||
| And if he will move marijuana off of the Schedule I list, which he does not require legislation to do, which he can do with the stroke of the pen, he will become an even stronger He's a stronger candidate for re-election, but more importantly, he will be bringing medical relief to millions of people whose only other option is the killing opioids. | ||
| Yeah, you're exactly right. | ||
| I mean, you bring up even more positive, even more benefits to this sort of idea. | ||
| You get people off the opioids, and I didn't even mention it, but you also cut a major source of funding for the human traffickers, for the people, you know, the cartels that are getting people across the border. | ||
| So you free up money for the wall, you get people off of the deadly opioids and onto a much more... | ||
| Natural and good form of medication and effective, much more effective form of medication, I should add. | ||
| You free up money for the wall. | ||
| You cut off a major source of income for the cartels. | ||
| I mean, this is win, win, win, win, win. | ||
| And I usually, you know, I don't like the argument of just like, well, you know, this sort of measure, this idea is inevitable, so we might as well support it. | ||
| I don't think that's usually a very valid argument. | ||
| But in this case, Donald Trump is good at seeing trends. | ||
| He's got to recognize that states are one by one legalizing marijuana, whether it's medicinal or recreational. | ||
| And you can get out in front of this and sort of grab the bull by the horns or grab the reins of the cart and say, all right, we're going to steer this. | ||
| We're going to basically... Take credit for this. | ||
| We're going to get this done because we know it's going to happen anyway. | ||
| It's just a matter of time. Let's get it done now. | ||
| Let's get Trump the credit. | ||
| Let's have Trump do, just as you said, use his pin to undo this absolutely ridiculous Schedule 1 Status of cannabis, which it clearly should not be in. | ||

| I've heard two arguments with the left trying to politicize Jesus over Christmas. | ||
| One, of course, is the open borders immigrant policy, where they say, How can you guys be anti-immigration, which of course is not the truth. | ||

| Maybe I'll hear that argument, but first, are you admitting that Jesus Christ is real? | ||
| Are you admitting that the Bible is real? | ||
| Because you never want to talk about that any other time. | ||
| You want the Bible out of school. | ||
| You know, you don't want to talk about God. | ||
| So all of a sudden, they want to talk about Jesus and the story of Jesus and use that to apply it to our lives now, but only when they can politicize it around Christmas. | ||

| And maybe the troops are busy coming home from Syria and spending time with their family and buying Christmas gifts because they got a pay raise. | ||
| But that's not even the angle. | ||
| It's literally completely fake news. | ||
| President Trump flew to the Middle East on Christmas Day to visit troops, take pictures with them, shake their hand, meet them, with Melania. | ||
| But did any of the news outlets out there Did any of them recant their story? | ||
| Did any of them retract their story? | ||
| No. In fact, what happened was it got amplified by the Hollywood left, it got amplified by the corporate left, and then it reverberates amongst all their minions and becomes fact in their mind, even though from the very outset it was fake news. | ||

| NBC News or whoever originated this story says President Trump is not going to visit the troops on Christmas. | ||
| He's Scrooge. He's Grinch. | ||

| Even though they'll omit that when Obama visited the troops, he was actually on vacation in Hawaii, a taxpayer vacation in Hawaii, and he stopped by a military base for a photo opportunity. | ||

| Even though Trump has done everything for the troops, he's the bad guy because they say he didn't visit them, even though he did visit them. | ||

| It illustrates just how disconnected our systems are and our machinery is from the reality of the situation. | ||

| I mean, that's the idea is that we have these big, complicated bureaucracies and structures in order to serve the lowest, in order to serve the people at large, not to cater to a very small group of people at the top. | ||
| And yet we see time and again, that is the function of these systems and bureaucracies that we set up. | ||
| And so I've got a couple of stories here and it's like it goes back and forth. | ||
| It's like Nobody really knows what's going on, but we can look at larger trends. | ||
| We can look at data points here or there and try to find correlation or causation. | ||
| But this was on Drudge at the top of the page earlier today. | ||
| Whiff of extinction blows in bull market that outlived them all. | ||
| So the bull market that has been going for 10 years and has been confounded and chastened its detractors by outlasting all predecessors is staggering up to death's door, and haters and admirers alike are turning out to pronounce last right. | ||
| So what it's saying is that we have been living on a bubble, and that bubble is fit to pop. | ||
| The fall has been swift in the last couple weeks or so. | ||
| A spasm of nearly uninterrupted selling has dragged the S&P 500 down 19.8% in the space of three months. | ||
| The Dow Jones Industrial Average has plunged 5,036 points since its record, poised for its worst December since 1931. | ||
| And for the men and women who sold stocks and investment advice while the rally raged, it's made Christmas a time of nostalgia. | ||
| Meanwhile, just today we have stocks rise sharply in volatile trading on Wednesday as surges in retail and energy shares helped Wall Street regain most of the steep losses suffered in the previous session. | ||
| So, I mean, literally you can't read a story in the news in the morning without it being a whole different story by the afternoon. | ||
| The Dow Jones Industrial Average has traded 550 points higher as of 1 o'clock Eastern. | ||
| While the S&P 500 has gained 2.6%, the NASDAQ outperformed, raising 3.5%. | ||
| The Dow and S&P 500 briefly turned negative earlier in the day. | ||
| But while we're looking at that, we're also seeing Maganomics. | ||
| MasterCard releases first tabulated holiday sales report with a whopping 5.1% increase. | ||
| This is an incredible increase in the amount of consumer spending that's going to Main Street, not Wall Street. | ||
| And this is where you get the disconnect. | ||
| It's the disconnect between Main Street and Wall Street, between the people who own shops, own stores, even own franchises, how well they're doing, how much money is being spent there, and yet the stock market as a whole is going down. | ||
| Something doesn't match here. | ||
| It's because these systems are fabricated. | ||
| These systems are fake. | ||
| These systems are a false reality imposed upon the reality that you and I live every day. | ||
| Shoppers delivered the strongest holiday sales increase for U.S. retailers in six years. | ||
| Total U.S. retail sales rose 5.1% between November 1st and December 24th from a year earlier. | ||
| And, of course, I don't need to tell you that the Christmas time, the holiday period, is the most important period in consumer purchasing and all this stuff. | ||
| This is where companies really make their profits. | ||
| And so a 5% rise is really astronomical. | ||
| I mean, that's huge. | ||
| So it says, you know, a lot of things have gone down, but stores that sell mainly apparel have experienced a growth of 7.9%, and even sales from brick-and-mortar stores rose 3.3%. | ||
| So we see this inexorable, you know, rise of Amazon and of digital retailers. | ||
| Well, not really. | ||
| Really, the entire economy is being inflated, being pumped up by lower taxes, by better hiring options, by being able to negotiate for a higher rate. | ||
| The preliminary data suggests Main Street is indeed benefiting from a strong domestic economy. | ||
| Low unemployment, lower taxes and higher wages equals more disposable income. | ||
| That foundation likely fueled the increase in consumer spending throughout the holidays. | ||
| Now, this is the important part. | ||
| Wall Street is being impacted by their multinational reliance, which is heavily weighted towards global investments. | ||
| Main Street is driven by the actual USA checkbook economic factors. | ||
| This is the modern disconnect. | ||
| After decades of Wall Street companies investing overseas and generating investment products that are fundamentally detached from the US economy, they do not benefit from a strong US economy. | ||
| We should say that one more time. | ||
| After decades of Wall Street companies investing overseas and generating investment products that are fundamentally detached from the U.S. economy, they do not benefit from a strong U.S. economy. | ||
| However, Main Street directly gains from internal U.S. economic growth. | ||
| So basically what you have is people on Wall Street betting on globalism, betting on the failure of America. | ||
| They actually do better the worse the average American does. | ||
| And so they're completely disconnected from the well-being of average Americans, whereas Main Street, the real economy, what people are actually spending on a day-to-day basis is directly affected and in fact being bolstered and buoyed by President Trump's economic policy. | ||
| And we also have, of course, President Trump taking on the Federal Reserve. | ||
| President Trump commented on the Federal Reserve once more on Monday calling it, quote, the only problem our economy has. | ||
| Now, those two stories I just read you would bear that out. | ||
| That's the proof. The economy is doing fantastically and yet the stock market falls. | ||
| That's because the stock market is divorced from reality. | ||
| It is a false reality put on top of the reality that you and I live. | ||
| Trump also said Tuesday that the Fed was, quote, raising interest rates too fast because they think the economy is so good. | ||
| Trump has been critical of the Fed's decisions regarding monetary policy this year. | ||
| The central bank has hiked overnight rates four times this year. | ||
| So a lot of people out there are saying, well, President Trump is, you know, he sees the stock market falling and he's just, he's desperate to put the blame off on somebody else. | ||
| The Fed has raised rates four times in a single year. | ||
| How many times did it raise rates over the entire eight-year time period of Barack Obama's presidency? | ||
| Zero times. | ||
| It was at zero for the entire decade leading up to President Trump's Now that President Trump is in charge and the economy is actually growing, not just the bubble that Barack Obama and his Wall Street buddies would have us believe is the economy. | ||
| Now that the real economy is growing, the Fed comes in to put a pin in it. | ||
| To pop that balloon to try to crush the incredible growth that we are experiencing. | ||
| Yes, in fact, the Federal Reserve is the only thing bringing down the stock market right now as well as the globalist elite system that has been constructed to... | ||
| Sap money out of the American people. | ||

| So that being said, anybody that has the feeling that that is an inappropriate question to ask an 11-, 12-, or 13-year-old every single day, you know, don't Be quiet about it, whether you live in this area or not. | ||
| I've gone to the school board meetings. | ||
| I've gone to meetings that were scheduled specifically for me to try to address this issue. | ||
| It's not doing me any good, but I'm still going out there and fighting. | ||
| And I feel like that's the most important thing. | ||
| You know, once we lay down and say, oh, well, it's just the times we're living in. | ||
| We have to accept this. | ||
| That's when, you know, We lose our ability to fight it. | ||

| Ken Allen has a daughter who I believe is either 11 or 12, goes to school in Columbia, Missouri. | ||
| She comes home and tells her dad, you know, it's really weird. | ||
| They're pressuring us into joining the Gay Straight Alliance. | ||
| There are posters in every hallway, posters in every school, posters in the bathroom. | ||
| They're completely pushing it. | ||
| It's a club that's run by the school and facilitated by faculty members, but they're able to get away with it by saying, oh, it's not a class, it's just a club. | ||
| But basically, she's just saying it makes me uncomfortable. | ||
| It's weird. | ||
| I don't like it because she has been raised with, I guess you could say, Christian values, with The values of men are men and women are women and this is just the reality and we have to deal with it. | ||
| And so she feels uncomfortable. So her father goes and protests and says, why are you asking my daughter every single day if she wants to change gender? | ||
| If she feels like a woman today or a girl today or if she feels like a boy and maybe wants to wear boys clothes? | ||
| And when he does this and he protests this, the response from the school, from the principal of the school, is to report him to the authorities and say that he is somehow abusing his child by forcing his child to say stuff that she doesn't believe. | ||
| Now, how they can know what she believes or not is not clear to me. | ||
| The point is that This is the situation that we are now living in, that the state thinks it has more control over your children than you do. | ||
| It thinks it has more control over your children than they do, than the children themselves have. | ||
| They want to corrupt your children as early and as severely as possible. | ||
| And this is not hyperbole. | ||
| This is not, oh, you know, what if, oh, if we... | ||
| Past gay marriage now, who knows what's going to happen down the line? | ||
| This is happening right now. | ||
| It's happened in Canada. It's happened in Ohio, I believe, that parents had a child, either a son or a daughter, that felt like they were transgender, and they would go to school and they would tell their teachers and other people at the school, they'd say, oh, I'm a girl, but I actually want to be a boy. | ||
| And so the school would cater to that and say, okay, when you're here, you're a boy. | ||
| But the parents said, no, you're not allowed to do that. | ||
| We will raise our kid how we want to raise them, and we do not think that an elementary school kid is capable, or a middle school kid is capable of telling you that they are a different gender than the one that they're born with. | ||
| What happens? CPS gets involved, and the children are taken away from their parents and given to a grandparent who will Concede to the state's demand and give the child hormone treatments. | ||
| Block that child's puberty. | ||
| Destroy that child chemically. | ||
| Castrate them chemically because the child has succumbed to the disgusting propaganda that is being pumped on them by the schools themselves. | ||
| I mean... This is really happening, folks. | ||
| Again, this isn't a conspiracy. | ||
| This isn't about hating transgender people. | ||
| If you're an adult, you can do whatever you want. | ||

| It says, after decades of inaction by Congress, the government remains severely constrained in its ability to detain and promptly remove families with no legal basis to remain in the U.S., To mitigate the risk of holding family units past the timeframe allotted to the government, ICE has curtailed reviews of post-release plans from families apprehended along the southwest border. | ||
| ICE continues to work with local and state officials and NGO partners in the area so they are prepared to provide assistance with transportation and other services. | ||
| Basically, ICE has just been dropping off migrants by the hundreds at their local Greyhound bus terminal and basically just saying, good luck. | ||
| Have fun. And then, of course, you have a bunch of traitorous NGOs and even former congressmen such as Beto O'Rourke who are there to facilitate the invasion of people who didn't feel the need to go through the legal channels to get into this country. | ||
| They feel like they have a right to come into America and... | ||

| German Supreme Court rejects anti-child marriage law as unconstitutional. | ||
| That's right. Child marriage now unconstitutional. | ||
| You know, pretty much legal in Germany. | ||
| The German Federal Supreme Court has made a new ruling on a child marriage case, which could have implications on the way child marriages conducted legally overseas are treated in the country. | ||
| The case was sent up to the federal Supreme Court, which has now ruled that the marriage between the pair, who's a 21-year-old man and a 14-year-old girl at the time they were married, by the time this court got to the case, the girl was 16, should be examined on the legal status in Syria. should be examined on the legal status in Syria. | ||
| Basically, they're saying, well, it was legal in Syria, so it's legal here. | ||
| That's globalism for you. | ||
| Such cases in the future should be looked at on an individual basis, the court said, instead of a blanket refusal to recognize them, as was the procedure previously. | ||
| Since the height of the migrant crisis in Germany in 2015, Germany has seen a huge surge in the number of child marriage cases, with at least 1,000 cases being known as far back as 2016. | ||
| So basically what they're saying is, you know, let's not oppress the people with some sort of blanket law that says you're not allowed to marry children. | ||
| And let's look at each individual basis and maybe see if she was asking for it. | ||
| Maybe see if she was into it, you know? | ||
| I mean, that's sick and it's... | ||
| Occurring in Germany right now. | ||
| If you want to marry a 14-year-old in Syria and bring her back to be your teenage wife, apparently that's fine. | ||

| It has funny implications just on its face. | ||
| Germany moles introducing a mosque tax for Muslims. | ||
| Lawmakers from Germany's Grand Coalition government said on Wednesday that they were considering introducing a mosque tax for German Muslims. | ||
| And basically it says in the absence of a tax, mosques in Germany are reliant on donations, raising concerns about possible financing by foreign organizations and governments, which of course is happening. | ||
| Saudi Arabia and Turkey are the ones building mosques in Europe. | ||
| But here's the interesting thing. | ||
| They're not just considering a mosque tax for Muslims. | ||
| There already is a church tax for Christians. | ||
| So it's saying they're going to introduce a mosh tax similar to the church taxes that German Christians pay already. | ||
| So in Germany, church taxes are collected from practicing Catholics and Protestants in order to fund church activities. | ||
| They're collected by the state and then transferred to religious authorities. | ||
| So that's already the case with Christians. | ||
| So basically it's saying, oh, you want to be Christian? | ||
| You want to go to church? Well, we'll just hike up your taxes. | ||
| It's no longer optional for you to want to support your church voluntarily. | ||
| No, no. If you call yourself Catholic or Protestant, we'll tax you at a higher rate. | ||
| So that would decrease the likelihood that anybody's going to actually call themselves Catholic or Protestant. | ||
| And then the government will dole out the money to the churches. | ||
| That's how it is in Germany already today, except for the Muslims who don't pay a tax and don't have any government oversight over... | ||
| Over the mosques. So, big old mess in Germany, let's say. | ||
| Moving on, Shell says that it wants to double green energy investment. | ||
| I like this because this is the way that we actually move towards sustainable energy without having the government have to tax people arbitrarily for what they do. | ||
| Shell has declared an ambition to double the amount it spends on green energy to $4 billion a year. | ||
| Great, great. Do it. | ||

| I think this is a win-win. The company's already committed to spend $1 to $2 billion annually in the next two years, with the rest of its $25 billion budget invested in hydrocarbons. | ||
| They say that if the initial investments generate a good enough return, we'll be able to successfully argue for an increase in From 2020 onward. | ||

| Those people do not exist as a fabrication. | ||
| This has incredible implications for how we perceive reality and just what the powers that be are going to be able to be capable of. | ||
| Where now next 9-11 that could happen, the perpetrators might not even be real people. | ||
| They might just be images that the government is able to put forward as real people in order to confound any attempts to get to the truth. | ||

| Another story here from China that shows that China is now data mining directly from the brains of workers, light rate companies. | ||
| Lightweight sensory helmets have been rolled out on an industrial scale. | ||
| The data mining and emotional surveillance programs are eerily similar to trends in the United States to monitor and probe the mental health of its citizens through facial recognition. | ||
| The workers in China wear caps to monitor their brain waves, and it shows whether they're stressed or angry or anything like that. | ||
| And, you know, we have to determine what is our goal as a society or as a culture, even as humans ourselves, because if our goal is just to increase profits, well, shoot. | ||
| You can put on a mind reading cap and have your emotions manipulated by your company or by your government, and it shows that the technology boosted one company's profits by $315 million. | ||
