| But our daughter had just turned 18 last March when she was abducted at knife point and brutally sexually assaulted in Tucson, Arizona. | ||
| And I haven't spoken about it. | ||
| Until now, out of protection for our daughter and respect for her privacy, and obviously that's not something that we're eager to have. | ||
| And the next month, we officially founded Veterans for Child Rescue. | ||
| It's something that hits home with our family. | ||
| It's obviously a big deal. | ||
| And 18 months later, our daughter's attacker has still not gone to trial. | ||
| He's gone through 14 public defenders and three separate competency hearings. | ||
| So we're trying to figure out what's going on in the system in Tucson with the court system. | ||
| But our daughter was traumatized by it. | ||
| She's not one to just sit and take it and not fight back. | ||
| Our whole family, we believe in standing up for what's right and speaking the truth no matter what the cost. | ||
| And we founded Veterans for Child Rescue. | ||
| And our daughter has, in fact, served with us as a junior decoy agent with federal and local law enforcement and been instrumental in helping us arrest child predators. | ||
| And she stands right in front of them once they're handcuffed and watches them turn, morph really, from predator into prisoner. | ||
| And that's empowering for her to feel like she can be part of the corrective process, even though she can't get a fair trial for herself. | ||
| She's able to take predators off the streets that she knows now. | ||

| And she said, Papa, this healed me like no amount of counseling ever could. | ||
| So You know, it's encouraging to see that we can, as citizens, stand up and find our own solutions. | ||
| So not as vigilantes, but working with law enforcement and augmenting and multiplying what they can do. | ||
| Because a non-profit organization, an NGO, can work with a LEO unit, law enforcement unit, and together get a lot better yield of perpetrators that we can arrest and get off the streets. | ||
| It's just a magic combination of things that we're allowed to do together. | ||
| So it's just... I want people to be encouraged by that and realize you do have a voice. | ||
| You do have things that you can do to help and make the world a better place. | ||
| And we can't all rise up against predators together. | ||

| I wanted to alert the populace to what's going on so that my daughter's wishes could come true, that what happened to her would not have to happen to others. | ||

| That doesn't mean that everybody that's a veteran that needs help is getting the services that they deserve. | ||
| So it is still an issue. | ||

| What do you think, Craig? Well, by my personal observation, I've seen radical improvements in the VA over the last year or so. | ||
| And I think that accountability bill, where you can fire Unproductive or counterproductive employees is one of – to make the VA a much healthier organization. | ||
| In my opinion, that's one of the biggest problems with any federal job is the guaranteed job security. | ||
| People that have federal jobs feel like they can't be fired. | ||
| Oh, we just had the Project Veritas – the Project Veritas tapes just came out where they're bragging about how they can't be fired. | ||
| They're like, yeah, I can break the law. | ||
| No one's going to fire me. Right, so you talk about an unhealthy situation, you destroy any incentive, and then why would humans perform? | ||
| If one person can show up at work early and really put out and make great things happen, and the other person barely even shows up and does nothing, well, if they get paid the same thing and one doesn't get promoted and the other one doesn't get fired, eventually you're going to have them settle down and both of them are going to start doing nothing, because that's just human nature. | ||
| And it's unfortunate, but I think we need to fix that about the federal employee system. | ||
| And I applaud what Trump did with the VA. I think it's going to help clean out a lot of dead weight there and help the VA be much more effective as an organization in providing better health care for our veterans. | ||

| If he allows the FBI to investigate Kavanaugh and ignore Blasey Ford, that is 110% against what he promised us, and I think it's devastation to this republic, and it will destroy even further the Supreme Court nomination process and empower the Democrats even more to make things up, lie about things, knowing that no Republican's going to fight back and the president's even going to cater to their desires. | ||

| Yeah, I want to go back and address one of the news clips that you played earlier, Owen, where one of the newscasters claimed that the entire FBI would be up in arms at Trump saying that the FBI was corrupt. | ||
| Well, the rank-and-file agents generally not. | ||
| Obviously, there are cross-section different political views within the rank-and-file, but most of them realize it's the upper brass that are corrupt. | ||
| So having been federal law enforcement myself, I know that that's the dynamic with every agency. | ||
| When you've got corruption, it's generally the upper brass, and that's what we're looking at, and that's what President Trump was speaking to with the FBI. And I think he's even been distinct in articulating that, that he wasn't talking about all the agents, that it was just primarily the upper brass. | ||
| So that's the kind of thing that these people do to try to deceive the American public. | ||
| Yeah, exactly, like, oh, Trump said all Mexicans are rapists. | ||
| No, he said people are coming into the country illegally and raping people. | ||
| Exactly. And we need to corner them and ask them, what do you mean by that? | ||
| And hold them to account and just demonstrate the level of disingenuous and just outright deception that these people are stooping to to try to get their way. | ||
| And sadly, their way isn't even good for the American people. | ||
| So these are concerning times, but I'm thankful to be able to pray. | ||
