| They don't want her. You've got Michael Savage, a Hall of Fame radio broadcaster based out of San Francisco. | ||
| Who has teased that he may run for office. | ||
| And then this just got announced. | ||
| Or at least I just saw it on Drudge Report. | ||
| I hadn't heard until a second ago. | ||
| Stacey Dash is now also going to be running for Congress in California. | ||
| Of course, I've had guests on that are going to be running for Congress in California like Aja Smith and Dr. | ||
| Kenneth Wright. You've got Omar Navarro. | ||
| So... The heat is on the Democrats in California. | ||
| Now, this story also just breaks at the Daily Caller that really explains everything. | ||
| If you have a mental illness, this Antifa student group wants you. | ||
| So you've got Antifa essentially going around recruiting mentally ill people. | ||
| Well, that's like a what comes first, the chicken or the egg thing. | ||
| Liberalism is a mental disorder. | ||
| So to already have that set of beliefs, that set of political beliefs, you already are classified inside of a mental illness group. | ||
| So yes, are you a liberal? | ||
| Okay, well then yes, we want you. | ||
| Do you have a mental illness? Okay, yes, we want you. | ||
| Well, it's like the same thing. | ||
| So it's a story because once again it shows you how the left uses victimhood and uses violence. | ||
| Assumed ignorance and tries to search out people that have mental illness to join on to whatever policies and agendas they're pushing. | ||
| So you got all that going on, but the big stories are the geopolitical stories like what's going on between the United States and China, what's going on in the Middle East now with Syria popping off once again. | ||
| You've got The authoritarian left in America coming for the First and Second Amendment. | ||
| And so this is all the big news, but they make it all about the Florida shooting. | ||
| And they make it all about the event, even though the real story, while the event was a terrible tragedy, isn't the actual event. | ||
| And you'll notice how they've done that. | ||
| They've taken the momentum from the terrible tragedy and they've turned it into a full-on push for gun legislation. | ||
| And then on the backside, they kind of mop it up and they say, oh, anybody who talks about the Florida shooting without the official narrative or addresses the children that they're using for political pawns on CNN and MSNBC or talks about David Hogg's past, you're bullies and you must be shut down. | ||
| So they use it to attack the Second Amendment, ban the guns, and then they use it to attack the First Amendment. | ||
| You're a bully for countering the official narrative and questioning children. | ||
| But how do you live in a land? | ||
| Think about it like this. Again, you had the GOP memo breaking down collusion with the DOJ, the FBI, the Obama administration to spy on the Trump campaign, using a Clinton-paid-for opposition research document to do it. | ||
| And the Democrats put out a quote-unquote counter-memo that says, everything they just said is a lie, believe us. | ||
| I mean, that is the Twilight Zone. | ||

| What do you do when trying to discern fact and fiction, and you've essentially got two counter-narratives going and you've essentially got two counter-narratives going on, making it impossible for the average individual to even know what side is right and left and up and down? | ||
| music Where you have A GOP memo that says Hillary Clinton, using the conduits of the law firm Perkins Coie and Fusion GPS, paid for an opposition research document, | ||
| a foreign intelligence asset, Christopher Steele, who used Russian assets and sources in order to fabricate his document that was then used to spy on the Trump campaign. | ||
| And so that comes out. | ||
| That's a huge story. I mean, we're talking bigger than Watergate here. | ||
| Trump recognizes that. | ||
| He calls that out. You've got other investigations going on into that FISA warrant and what the Clintons were doing also with Uranium One. | ||
| And so you've got all of that going on, multiple committees in Congress being investigating into those things. | ||
| But Then what do you have? | ||
| You have the Democrats release a quote-unquote counter-memo, something that they just make up, and they say, no, everything the Republicans just said is a lie. | ||
| And you notice when reading the Democrat memo how it is a counter-memo, and not that they're saying they did any research and discovered anything. | ||
| They're just saying that what was reported in the Republican memo is fake. | ||
| So they're literally just saying, they're liars. | ||
| Do you realize how extreme that is? | ||
| In our own Congress right now, this is the 115th Congress, and you've got Democrats and Republicans sitting across the aisle, pointing the finger at the other party, saying, you're liars, presenting completely opposing views of reality. | ||
| Now, to the average individual, it is impossible to discern what is going on. | ||
| And also to the average individual, they are driven by their emotions and their emotions are being manipulated by the media. | ||
| So the average individual walks into this situation and says, okay, I'm being told two completely opposite things. | ||
| How are you supposed to know what's going on unless you've done the actual research yourself? | ||
| And so that's where we are. | ||
| But on the other side, they're driven by emotion. | ||
| They watch Stephen Colbert. | ||
| They watch CNN. They hear the lies. | ||
| And all they have is their emotions drummed up so that they hate conservatives and Republicans and Trump so much that it doesn't matter what they say, they will not believe it, even though they don't even know what they're talking about. | ||
| But it doesn't stop there. | ||
| Remember, just last week, CNN, and this is the same thing, Colton Hobb was going to be a guest on the CNN town hall, if you want to call it that. | ||
| It's not really a town hall. | ||
| It's just a theater event, essentially, is what it becomes. | ||

| And he says, well look, I'm not going to go on as part of this because you're not letting me ask my question. | ||
| You've scripted these questions. | ||
| I want to ask my question. | ||
| They say, no, you will read from our script. | ||
| This isn't a town hall. | ||
| This is a theater. | ||
| This is a play. This is an act we're putting together and the title is called town hall. | ||
| You're not actually in a town hall. | ||
| See, Trump had an actual listening session that it wasn't some grandiose event, lights, camera, action, television. | ||
| No, he got people into the White House and he just sat down with them and he just said, let's take some questions. | ||
| Let's talk about this. Then CNN has their fake town hall, totally scripted, totally staged. | ||
| And so Colton Habs says, look, these people... | ||
| Wrote the questions for me. | ||
| They staged and scripted the whole thing. | ||
| And then what does CNN say? | ||
| He's lying. He made the whole thing up. | ||
| It's not fake. It's all real. | ||
| See, it's the same dynamic. | ||
| And so the average individual that doesn't know Boo coming into this situation, how are they supposed to figure this out? | ||
| What are they supposed to think? | ||
| And you know what they do? They don't think. | ||
| They can't handle it. They run away because it doesn't make sense. | ||
| You know what else doesn't make sense? | ||
| Some of the ideas that I'm seeing coming forth right now. | ||
| You know what? It makes sense. | ||
| In a knee-jerk reaction, the Republican National Committee says it's open to raising the age to purchase a gun. | ||
| Eric Trump says, I don't think it's a big deal if you raise the age to 21. | ||
| Well, you know what? Maybe it doesn't seem like a big deal, and maybe it's not a big deal, but you know what is a big deal to me? | ||
| Common sense and logic. | ||
| And if you raise the age to buy a gun from 18 to 21, to me you're just abandoning all common sense. | ||
| You're just abandoning all logic. | ||
| And while in response to this terrible tragedy, maybe this seems like a solution, But again, it doesn't make sense. | ||
| So you're telling me you can't get a gun until you're 21, even though you can sign up for the military and have the government hand you a gun and go into a battlefield. | ||
| You're telling me that you can't be 21 to get a gun in America, but we are literally sending weapons into the Middle East. | ||
| We are literally arming... | ||
| I mean, you can call them whatever you want. | ||
| Some would call them terrorists. | ||
| You've literally got an Obama administration running guns with Fast and Furious, and you're going to change the age of buying a gun in the United States of America to 21? | ||
| It doesn't make sense. | ||
| It's not logical. There's no common sense to it. | ||
| Well, you can't buy that gun, son. | ||
| You're only 19 years old. | ||
| Really, I just served two years in the military and fired plenty of guns over there, paid for to do it. | ||
| How can I not get a gun here? | ||

| So, there's other things you've got to do, but this is something nobody's really talking about. | ||
| Again, it just shows you that this is a total agenda from the left to demonize guns And they're creating a... | ||
| I don't even know what you would call it. | ||
| Essentially a death star on social media. | ||
| So you've probably never heard of Kyle Kashuv. | ||
| He is from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. | ||
| And he actually supports the Second Amendment. | ||
| He's also a survivor of a school shooting. | ||
| And he supports the Second Amendment. | ||
| He's been outspoken since this started. | ||
| But you notice something about Kyle is, well, you don't notice Kyle. | ||
| He doesn't get the television interviews. | ||
| He doesn't go on television every day like the good liberals have been trained to do. | ||
| David Hogg and Carmen Martinez or whoever they are. | ||
| They get all the TV time. | ||
| They get all the interviews. | ||
| They get all the attention. | ||
| And then what happens? | ||
| Twitter verifies all of their accounts. | ||
| If you're from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and you survived the school shooting and you go on Twitter and you talk about how guns need to be bad and how Republicans are bad and it's Trump's fault, it's the NRA's fault, Dana Lesh needs to be burned and all this stuff, you get verified. | ||
| Hey, congratulations, you're now verified because you hate the Second Amendment. | ||
| But if you are a Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and you happen to be a student that's a conservative and you like the Second Amendment and you don't think coming after guns is the Well, you don't get TV interviews, and you don't get verified, and you don't have, what was it, guys, Twitter safety or something? | ||
| We covered it on Friday, I think. | ||
| Twitter safety tweets out, and they say, oh, we're going to protect... | ||
| We're going to protect the survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting by verifying their accounts. | ||
| We're going to protect them from fake news, so we're going to verify their accounts. | ||
| Well, then why didn't you verify Kyle Kuchov's? | ||
| Why didn't you verify Colton Hab? | ||
| Oh, that's because they're not liberal. | ||
| That's because they don't hate guns. | ||

| Then the Democrats release a counter memo, a made up thing, a counter memo. | ||
| You've never even heard of such a thing. | ||

| And it is exactly what you would expect, just countering everything that the Republicans said. | ||
| They don't actually get into anything. | ||
| They just kind of leave it out there with conjecture and say, nope, didn't happen, made it up. | ||
| So you now live in a reality where Democrats and Republicans are pointing across the aisle saying the complete opposite thing. | ||

| So this has been held up for over two weeks. | ||
| Democrats aren't even funny. The FBI and DOJ had right away told the Democrats what was wrong with their memo or their response to our memo. | ||
| And they waited for two weeks before they actually did the redactions that were necessary to get this out. | ||
| We wanted it out. | ||
| We want it out because we think it is clear evidence that the Democrats are not only trying to cover this up, But they're also colluding with parts of the government to help cover this up. | ||
| And I think as you read it, you will see personal attacks on myself, personal attacks on Chairman Gowdy, with a lot of really interesting things that sound really bad, like a lot that has been happening with this Russia investigation over the course of last year. | ||
| But what you're not going to see is Anything that actually rejects what was in our memo. | ||

| And now they're taking it another step further and they're saying, well, no, not only do I not want to hear your opinion, I've decided that no one wants to hear your opinion, and so no one gets to hear your opinion. | ||
| And then when you have an event like the Florida shooting, they get to dominate the discussion and no other dissenting opinions are heard. | ||
| You know, that's why they have these town halls, Owen, where they only invite people who are going to go along with the narrative. | ||
| And if you decide, hey, I want to ask my own questions, well, then you're uninvited from these events. | ||
| And they are not going to go ahead and interview Patrick Tomlin. | ||
| In fact, I challenge the mainstream media to interview Patrick Tomlin or any of the other people. | ||
| People or family members that were victims of these mass shootings that are pro-Second Amendment. | ||
| You're not going to hear them wanting to interview them. | ||
| And I'm so glad that Patrick Tomlin had the courage to finally come forward. | ||

| Because we saw with what happened at Columbine how long it took law enforcement to actually go in there and stop the shooters. | ||
| Just like with the Parkland shooting. | ||
| You had police officers not going in. | ||
| That's That just sounds so crazy, but you've got to think about it. | ||
| These are humans. They're going to be afraid, as pathetic as that sounds. | ||
| But when it comes down to it and you're a teacher and you have students' lives to protect and there's a gunman coming through your door, you're going to pick up that gun and you're going to fire on that person because it's between life and death. | ||

| You have to take your safety into your own hands versus hoping that police are going to go in and put themselves right away in harm's way to protect your lives. | ||

| As a resident of Broward County, Florida, I've seen firsthand the anguish and grief of members of our community over the 17 students murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. | ||
| We now can say with certainty that the state of Florida was drugging the Parkland shooter. | ||
| As a result of one of the calls to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Cruz had been remanded to the state's Department of Children and Family Services where they were medicating him and he was getting mental health counseling. | ||
| After two and a half months, state doctors certified that Cruz was safe to return to school. | ||
| When are we going to examine the role of these psychotropic drugs on mass murderers? | ||
| Because they are the common thread throughout this horrific story. | ||

| This is the common thread in these killings, also true in Columbine. | ||
| And a fair debate and an examination of the psychotropic drugs being used by the killer, Cruz, is important. | ||
| Additionally, my analysis is that the Parkland shooter's involuntary psychological treatment ordered by the state of Florida This appears to be another NICS failure, like we saw in the case of the Texas school shooter. | ||
| We are in broad agreement on so many issues. | ||
| There needs to be a better central register of people who are ineligible to own firearms. | ||
| There needs to be more rigorous background checks. | ||
| This is not, however, an excuse for gun confiscation. | ||
| We made drugs illegal, yet drugs are plentiful. | ||
| We once made alcohol illegal, but it was readily available. | ||
| Just outlawing guns will not keep guns out of the hands of outlaws and others who may be mentally ill. | ||
| It's delusional to think that that could work. | ||
| But what it will do is to remove the access of law abiding citizens to own a firearm for their own protection. | ||
| Perhaps that is what it is designed to do. | ||
| Another failed liberal idea. | ||
| And it just doesn't make sense. | ||
| And you would imagine that the average individual, seeing how this is being played out, looks at this and says, wait a second. | ||
| Why are these people chanting against Dana Lash? | ||
| I mean, what has she ever done? | ||
| She's not involved with this at all. | ||
| Why are they saying burn her? | ||
| Why are they blaming the NRA? Boy, this doesn't really make sense. | ||
| And then you look into what happened here and you say, okay, well, the individual that went and killed those students at the school, Cruz, was identified to the FBI. He was identified to local law enforcement. | ||
| He was known to the school to be a threat. | ||
| He was known to pretty much all of his colleagues in school to be a threat. | ||
| And so you go through all of this and then you get to the bottom line and then what do you have? | ||
| A gun debate. | ||
| We're not even addressing the problem. | ||
| How will we ever get a solution to these problems when we don't actually address the problem? | ||
| Look, I think Dana Loesch of the NRA deserves enormous credit just for getting into that arena. | ||
| A completely stacked and highly emotionally charged audience with CNN screening out anybody who is a supporter of constitutional gun rights, practiced students with their talking points. | ||
| This is a confection. | ||
| I think she did an extraordinarily good job under enormous pressure. | ||
| Even the Broward County Sheriff, Scott Israel, if you go review his remarks, only said he expected he supported people who are mentally ill not getting guns. | ||
| He didn't actually endorse a broader gun control, although there's some implication of it. | ||
| That doesn't differ with the president's view and our views. | ||
| If you're crazy, as Dana put it, you shouldn't be able to buy a gun. | ||
| On this, I think we all agree. | ||
| You know, I do agree. | ||
| And I think everyone would agree. | ||
| But again, you know, you have to sit here and say, well, what does that mean? | ||
| Who's going to decide who's crazy and who's not? | ||
| Half the world is crazy. | ||
| So what? I mean, half of America is crazy. | ||
| So what? They can't get a gun? I think liberalism is a mental disorder. | ||
| So what? Now a liberal can't get a gun? | ||
| So, I mean, even that's a slippery slope. | ||
| But that's fine. We can have that debate. | ||
| We can consider legislation and things for that. | ||
| And that's perfectly reasonable. | ||
| I think that everyone would agree that we can have that debate. | ||
| However... It still doesn't address the issue. | ||
| It still doesn't address the problem that we have these background checks. | ||
| That is the current law as it stands. | ||

| He freezes after 37 years of training. | ||
| The president correctly called him a coward. | ||
| So did the sheriff. | ||
| How was anyone to know that this man who's been trained his whole life for this episode, who has actually trained other men for SWAT team tactics and In his moment of duty. | ||
| It is disappointing to say the least. | ||
| Psychologists will tell you this happens on the battlefield as well. | ||
| It's tragic for the children who might have been saved. | ||
| Well, and again, if you had a teacher that was brave, like Coach Feist, who gave his life for the kids, who didn't have a gun, you know, he's got a gun. | ||
| You're probably talking about lives being saved there. | ||
| Again, an individual on the scene with a gun, protecting not only himself, because that's your instinct, but obviously the students at the same time. | ||
| And, you know, just to go down that police officer, he's basically saying he's not a coward. | ||
| He's basically saying his training told him to stay in position because he's claiming that According to his current circumstances, he believed that the shooter was outside and on school grounds and not inside the school in which you handled the situation differently. | ||
| So again, now you're going to have more confusion about that. | ||
| But nobody is going to talk about that. | ||
| Nobody wants to talk about all the weird things that happened with the shooting because we're all just rushing to blame guns and blame the NRA. But an amazing angle that's kind of coming up to this too, Roger, is To prove exactly what you're saying, and I mean they prove it time and time again, | ||
| the only message that Democrats have right now as we enter the 2018 midterm election campaign, the heating up of that, the only argument, the only message, the only thing they have right now is Trump bad, Trump bad, impeach Trump, Trump is the worst, where Maxine Waters had a speech in California, a Democrat convention in California this weekend. | ||

| If you're on a drug like that, that a lot of these shooters that do the mass shootings end up being on the SSRI drugs, the antidepressants, etc. | ||

| Yeah, they put unawful user of or addicted to the substance, but there's plenty of people who are on prescription opioids, which are narcotic drugs, across the country. | ||

| So, you know, maybe this is the part of the background check that people need to be thinking about here and, you know, considering what is addicted to a depressant, a stimulant, a narcotic, or any other controlled substance. | ||

| I think maybe that's the debate that needs to happen here. | ||

| People want to inject this new notion that we're saying they're crisis actors and nothing ever happened. | ||
| No, they're actors. They're literally in the drama club. | ||
| That's just a fact. | ||
| I mean, the Marjorie Stoneman hype tweets out about how they're in the drama club. | ||
| So that's just a fact. Before we start going to these clips, Jake, obviously you're very impassioned about this. | ||
| You're a weapons expert yourself. | ||
| You've learned, you've been trained by the Army how to use these things and why here in America it's important that we have the Second Amendment. | ||
| So just seeing all of this and seeing the talking points and the approach, what is your response? | ||
| I think what really needs to be done is we need to look at the history of gun control in the United States because if you – what a lot of these people are calling for is assault weapons ban. | ||
| And I have the numbers here about all the stats and everything, how gun crime has fluctuated over the past 25 years or so. | ||
| But look at it and see if – because there was an assault weapons ban from 94 until 2004. | ||
| And if you look at it, it doesn't have the effect that people think that it'll have on gun crime. | ||
| And even more than that, the requirements to be classified as an assault weapon, whether it's a rifle, a shotgun, or a handgun, they're completely arbitrary. | ||
| They don't affect the lethality of the weapons at all. | ||
| It has to do with how things look. | ||
| It has to do with how heavy they are. | ||
| It doesn't have anything to do with how fast you can classify it. | ||
| So I could bring out like a 19th century rifle that fires like two shots a minute, and that could be considered an assault rifle. | ||
| It could if you put a barrel shroud on it, which on your AR right there, if you hold that up, what you have your hand on right there is to protect your hand from the heat of the barrel. | ||
| That's called a barrel shroud. And it serves the same function as wood does on the forward grip of a weapon, but because that's black and metal and scary. | ||
| Scary looking. It's scary looking. | ||
| What you're not factoring in when you advocate for gun rights is how many people are scared to death by the gun. | ||
| You need to factor that in. | ||
| It's not going to fire. It's not going to do anything. | ||
| There has to be a human behind it. | ||
| Of course, now they're going to the next level saying, let's just abort all humans and that'll avoid mass shootings. | ||
| So using that logic, why don't we have more mass shootings? | ||
| Because then there could be less mass shootings. | ||
| Well, there's more... There's less gun regulation in 2017 than there was in 1994, and we have less crime now. | ||
| Not even to mention that when the assault weapons ban was put in place in 1994, there was 13,000 deaths by handguns, and there was only 2,800 deaths by other weapons, which includes rifles and shotguns. | ||
| I wonder how much of those were suicides, too. | ||
| Oh yeah, that's another factor that needs to be considered. | ||
| Usually it's about 70% of gun deaths are suicide. | ||
| And if you look in 2014, this is from FBI Crime Statistics, handguns killed 5,000 people. | ||
| Rifles killed 248. | ||
| We're told that rifles are the big killers, but it's 248. | ||
| Shotguns, remember Joe Biden said if you want to protect yourself, get a shotgun. | ||
| Shotguns killed 262. | ||
| That's 14 more than rifles. | ||
| Knives. And a shotgun is, I mean, the most a shotgun will fire unless you've got some crazy, ridiculous, like, pump-action barrel. | ||
| Like, you're firing maybe six, eight. | ||
| Yeah, at the most. And most of them come with duck plugs anyway, so you have, like, two or three rounds at the most. | ||
| Knives killed 1,500 people in 2014, which is multitudes more than rifles. | ||
| You got soda machines on there? | ||
| How many people were killed by a soda machine? | ||
| That's a real statistic. | ||
| Do you want to hear the real kicker? This is from FBI crime statistics, by the way. | ||
| So blunt objects, baseball bats, wrenches, whatever, killed 435. | ||
| Bowling pins. Bowling pins could be blunt objects. | ||
| They killed almost as much as rifles. | ||
| According to the FBI crime statistics, you're more likely to get killed by somebody's hands and fists or fists and feet than rifles with 660. | ||
| You're more likely to get karate chopped to death than killed in a mass shooting by a rifle. | ||
| But they want to ban assault weapons, which includes rifles. | ||
| Are we going to ban hands and feet? And I'll play devil's advocate here for a second because... | ||
| We kind of use the same argument with open borders. | ||
| It's like, well, let's say only 10% of them are bad. | ||
| Well, we don't want that 10%. | ||
| I think that you could use that same point to say, well, there are this many deaths with a rifle. | ||
| But there's a different ripple to that because the Second Amendment and people being aware that we have a Second Amendment actually curtails crime. | ||
| It actually stops people from doing crimes. | ||
| And I guarantee you if Nicholas Cruz was privy to the fact that there was an armed security guard on the site, he may not have done it. | ||
| He may have decided a different soft target. | ||
| But he knew at that school it was a gun-free zone and he could go in there and kill people. | ||
| He picked his target in the freshman hallway, and there was nobody... | ||
| There wasn't a good guy with a gun on the scene, so they had to call the police and wait for them to show up. | ||
| If you understand that behind the next door you kick in, there could be somebody waiting there to shoot you, then it... | ||
| It mitigates the chance of somebody actually trying to do that. | ||
| You got any other statistics you want to read here? | ||
| We can talk about what we were talking about with the barrel shroud on that one. | ||
| You could have a musket that has a barrel shroud and a modified telescoping stock, and it would be considered a salt weapon. | ||

| If you have a black barrel shroud on it, and you take off the wooden stock and put one of those bus stocks? | ||
| Do you think maybe I'd be okay? | ||

| But the weird jump of logic that they make where you say, okay, let's have armed security at every bank. | ||
