NXR Podcast - DAILY TRUTH - In His GOODNESS, God Sends People To Hell Aired: 2023-02-17 Duration: 05:35 === Algorithms and Shadow Banning (04:09) === [00:00:00] All right, listen, guys, I get it. [00:00:02] Many of you are unable to financially support this ministry because you're spending your cash and your lives on raising young children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. [00:00:10] Praise God for you and that endeavor. [00:00:13] However, algorithms are a thing, shadow banning sadly is a thing. [00:00:18] And one major way that you can help to expand the reach and effectiveness of this ministry that doesn't cost you a dime is by spending just a few moments leaving us a five star review. [00:00:31] Also, perhaps even more effective than that, you can share our podcast with a friend. [00:00:36] We hope you'll take the time to do so. [00:00:38] Thank you so much. [00:00:39] God bless. [00:00:42] Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. [00:00:48] You're listening to Daily Truth. [00:00:52] It's not just the crime that has to be considered when determining a just punishment, penalty, it's also who the crime is committed against. [00:01:04] Right, if we're out in the parking lot and one of you guys don't like my sermon today and you're really offended that I said that you're a sinner and totally depraved, first I would say, well, you're probably not a Christian. [00:01:13] And then that only makes my illustration all the more likely to unfold. [00:01:18] You'd be even more offended. [00:01:19] And let's just say that you actually assault me, physically assault me. [00:01:22] You push me down in the parking lot and you threaten to hit me. [00:01:27] You're probably going to get away with that. [00:01:29] Probably. [00:01:30] There probably aren't going to be a whole lot of penalties, maybe a slap on the wrist. [00:01:34] It's probably not a great idea because a lot of the guys in this church, they love the Lord, they love His word, and they carry guns. [00:01:39] Praise God. [00:01:40] So it's not a good move. [00:01:42] I wouldn't recommend it. [00:01:42] But if you did that, if you did that, there's probably going to be mild penalties or no penalties. [00:01:50] But if you do that to the President of the United States, if you somehow sneak into the White House and you push him over on the ground, we're talking about a guy who can barely stand to begin with, but you push that guy on the ground, you threaten to punch him, well, pfft. [00:02:05] You're going to solitary confinement for who knows how long. [00:02:08] We'll never hear from you because there's people in there right now. [00:02:12] Right? [00:02:13] Since January 6th. [00:02:14] People, no trial. [00:02:15] Haven't heard. [00:02:16] Who knows? [00:02:17] Who knows what's going on? [00:02:18] And that will be you also. [00:02:21] My point is, there's something to be said when it comes to determining the penalty for a crime, not just the degree of the crime, but also the one who it's committed against. [00:02:33] For the one who defies God. [00:02:36] That's who we're talking about. [00:02:38] We're not talking about the president. [00:02:40] We're talking about the God of the universe. [00:02:42] For the one who defies God. [00:02:45] And then when God gives his own son, who is God, the second member of the Trinity, and he is trampled underfoot, mocked, blasphemed, rejected entirely, in absolute arrogance and presumption, you've sinned against God. [00:03:04] To put it as simply as possible, when you sin against an eternal being, An infinite being, an infinite penalty is the only thing that's just. [00:03:14] The reason why people go to hell forever is not because God is harsh. [00:03:18] It's not because God is unfair. [00:03:20] It's not because God is mean. [00:03:22] It's because God is good. [00:03:24] God is good. [00:03:26] And one of the qualities of that characteristic of goodness is that God is just. [00:03:32] You cannot be a good person and be an unjust, unfair person. [00:03:38] Part of goodness includes with it justice. [00:03:42] And the only just penalty for an infinite crime committed against an infinite being who made you and breathed breath into your lungs is an infinite penalty, an infinite punishment. [00:03:57] Can I be frank with you for just a second, right here at the end? [00:04:01] Look, some of you guys, you're financially supporting this ministry, and from the bottom of my heart, I say thank you. [00:04:07] I cannot thank you enough. === Living Through the Recession (01:24) === [00:04:10] However, some of you, you just can't afford it. [00:04:13] In fact, some of you, you shouldn't afford it. [00:04:16] Let's be honest. [00:04:18] I mean, we're living in Joe Biden's ridiculous economy. [00:04:21] Our nation and our totalitarian political elites lost their minds over the last three years due to COVID. [00:04:31] We have written checks that we simply cannot cash. [00:04:35] It doesn't matter if people change the definition of a recession. [00:04:39] We are living in a recession right now, regardless. [00:04:43] Some of you are struggling to afford a carton of eggs at the grocery store. [00:04:48] You cannot support financially this ministry at this time, nor should you. [00:04:54] But you could still help us tremendously. [00:04:57] I am asking you, please, if you're willing to do so, Take one minute of your time. [00:05:03] Leave us a five star review on your favorite podcast platform iTunes, Spotify, whatever that might be. [00:05:10] This is the way the system works.
