[00:00:42] Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. [00:00:47] You're listening to Daily Truth. [00:00:52] So, verse 19 do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. [00:00:59] Now, that word evidence, I really am convinced our culture has no idea what that means. [00:01:04] No idea. [00:01:05] Evidence? [00:01:06] Well, I feel this way, Joel. [00:01:10] It's all the evidence I need. [00:01:12] Well, that's not evidence. [00:01:15] That's not evidence. [00:01:16] Okay, so the first necessary ingredient is factual evidence. [00:01:20] The Bible actually cares about justice. [00:01:23] Justice. [00:01:24] And this is what we need to be aware of when it comes to doing justice. [00:01:27] We are all called as Christians, followers of Christ, to do justice. [00:01:32] Right? [00:01:32] I mean, the famous verse that everybody always quotes. [00:01:35] To walk humbly with your God, there are three things to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. [00:01:42] Well, to do justice requires factual evidence. [00:01:47] And I might also add on that point for the social justice warriors of our world, they like to do justice, except they don't actually do justice because it's not factual, it's not real justice. [00:01:58] And they often forget the very next part of that verse do justice and love mercy. [00:02:06] See, the Christian is called to both. [00:02:09] The social justice warrior hates mercy. [00:02:12] They hate it. [00:02:15] Because if the gospel actually broke out in a room where justice was established and there actually was factual evidence, and the victim in the scenario wasn't just alleged, but they were a true victim, truly victimized, truly mistreated, injustice actually happened. [00:02:31] And it's been established by factual evidence, and then that victim, rather than using their victim power to gain leverage, to gain advantage, they rather forfeited that right and said, I forgive you because Christ in the gospel forgave me. [00:02:46] The social justicians would be furious because they don't love mercy. [00:02:52] They don't. [00:02:54] You need to know that. [00:02:55] The social justicians, the social justice warriors, they're not following that verse. [00:03:02] They're not actually doing justice. [00:03:03] They're perverting justice, hating mercy, and walking proudly before their God. [00:03:08] They're doing the very opposite. [00:03:10] Let's pray they repent. [00:03:11] Thanks so much for listening, but real quick, Before you go, do us a small favor take a moment and leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the show.
