[00:00:34]  It's Christ's church.
[00:00:35]  He's the one who instituted it by his life and death and resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father.
[00:00:40]  He says it's my church and I'm going to build it and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
[00:00:45]  You know what I love about that?
[00:00:49]  The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's church.
[00:00:53]  The gates are not an offensive weapon.
[00:00:57]  Notice he does not say, I will build my church.
[00:01:00]  And the weapons of hell, the weapons of hell will not prevail against it.
[00:01:04]  Meaning the church is on the defense, getting pummeled by hell, but the pummeling of hell will not be effective.
[00:01:13]  No.
[00:01:15]  The gates of hell, meaning the church, is the offensive weapon.
[00:01:20]  The church is being built, the church is taking ground, and the gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's church.
[00:01:27]  Meaning that the gates of hell will not be able to withstand the blows of the gospel.
[00:01:34]  That are delivered by the church because Christ is its head.
