NXR Podcast - QUESTIONS - Can The Fruit Of Christendom Incentivize Unbelievers To Be Christian? Aired: 2022-05-06 Duration: 02:37 === Show Your Light Through God's Law (01:40) === [00:00:00] Hey guys, real quick before we get started, I have a small request. [00:00:03] If you've been blessed by our content and you like this show, would you take just a brief moment and leave us a five star review? [00:00:09] This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content gets out to as many people as possible. [00:00:17] Thanks. [00:00:18] All right, this is our last question because you guys have been super patient and super kind. [00:00:24] So let's go ahead and wrap up the night. [00:00:27] Last question for you, John. [00:00:28] I know you guys came up for me for AD. [00:00:30] But, John, he's probably got the biggest following between us, and a lot of you really love conversations that matter. [00:00:36] So, I'm going to give you the final word, John. [00:00:38] Isn't using stability as a means of appealing to non Christians? [00:00:42] You talked about stability, a form of seeker sensitivity. [00:00:46] If not, then why not? [00:00:48] And then they wrote, Thank you for standing up against the woke church. [00:00:51] I love your podcast. [00:00:52] Okay, yeah. [00:00:53] If you're using that as the draw card, that you just got to become a Christian because it's more stable, and that's like the only foot you're putting forward, then yeah, I mean, You should obviously be preaching the gospel that ultimately the reason you should become a Christian is because you're lost in your sin and you need a savior. [00:01:12] But there's a compassion I think we have for those who, as Proverbs even says, like those who don't even know what they're stumbling over. [00:01:20] They're in the dark so much. [00:01:22] And so that's really what I was trying to appeal to is that there's people out there that they're just so ignorant. [00:01:30] Now, they know certain things, they know they're sinners, and I understand that. [00:01:33] They've just never seen things like a mother and a father loving each other in a home. [00:01:38] Because I've seen it in college ministry and stuff. === Loving Parents Ignite Hope in the Dark (00:56) === [00:01:40] And that's one of, I think, the big things you can do to show your light to them is that we follow the law of God in this house. [00:01:50] And it produces, look at the good fruit it produces. [00:01:52] And so that's an example of men seeing our good works, glorifying our Father in heaven. [00:01:58] So, yeah, it's not like a new evangelism strategy. [00:02:01] That's not what I'm trying to say. [00:02:03] I'm just saying that that's one of the points of contact that you can have with the world. [00:02:08] Where you may gain a hearing for the gospel in that context, because they're going to want to know, just like the Queen of Sheba came to Solomon, want to know, like, why is your country so prosperous? [00:02:18] We follow the Lord here. [00:02:19] And that's all I'm saying. [00:02:20] Great. [00:02:20] Thanks so much for listening. [00:02:22] But, real quick, before you go, do us a small favor, take a moment, and leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the show. [00:02:29] This is undoubtedly the best way that you can help us get this biblically faithful content to as many people as possible. [00:02:36] Thanks so much.
