First off tonight, the controversy.
Let's see.
Senator Rand Paul came out last night, we're close to 24 hours into this now, on Sean Hannity's neocon program and endorsed Mitt Romney for president, piquing rumors after secret meetings he had, or private meetings, that he's being looked at for VP.
Now, they need to clarify what's going on here.
Because simultaneously, Ron Paul put out a message saying, be respectful at Tampa.
We're not going to try to take it over now.
That is really being taken bad by supporters of Congressman Ron Paul.
I can tell you right now that this is going over like a lead balloon.
And I certainly hope that everyone out there who supported Ron Paul understands it's bigger than just one man.
He has a great voting record.
Rand Paul's a great guy, has a good voting record.
I'm not saying there are enemies, but To string everybody along and, oh, we're going to secretly win with the delegates just to keep momentum to make a deal with Romney.
And then to have backroom deals.
If they were going to do this, they should have come out and said to the supporters of the press conference, we think it's good to try to make a deal with Romney.
We think it's good to try to take over the Republicans.
The problem is Romney is bought and paid for by the New World Order.
And Ron Paul is known for never compromising.
Iran has been known for that as well, and this is not going well.
This is not going well.
People are not liking this, and Ron Paul is the figurehead of the Liberty Movement.
The Liberty Movement is going to be stronger than ever, but the system is trying to use this to drive wedges.
And I have to say, I cannot support Romney as much as I hate Obama.
They're both bought and paid for by the very same interest.
And I even got calls on the air today, on radio, saying, where's the proof that he endorsed Romney?
This would be like if I came out and endorsed the UN or world government.
That's really kind of how I see it.
And that's how my listeners see it, who were original Ron Paul supporters, who were Ron Paul supporters before it was cool.
17 years.
People think they've been used, they feel betrayed, the office feels betrayed.
That's just how this came off.

But in case you're living in denial, here is a video clip of it.
But you know, now that the nominating process is over, tonight I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be supporting Governor Romney.
And of course, I get it.
The idea is they're Republicans.
Romney's better than Obama.
But is he?
Supported abortion, carbon taxes, wrote the Obamacare plan, supported anti-gun stuff, amnesty.
I mean, Romney talks a different game today, and some say, well, let Rand be his VP, or let Paul be on the cabinet, and then we'll get to steer things.
I see that more as us being co-opted.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Maybe if they get this deal and a couple months into Romney's campaign, you know, he starts saying, you know, more libertarian things, starts doing things, starts putting more people on his cabinet.
Maybe that's the case.
But in my gut, I think that people are stringing themselves along.
Maybe the Pauls as well.
But this whole thing is super creepy.
My gut says danger Will Robinson.
Now that leads us to this video that I shot right before we went on air tonight, because I wanted to really be able to be focused and address Senator Paul and Congressman Paul, and to really point out my concerns and my listeners' concerns.
So here is my message, directly, my open video letter to Ron Paul and co.
here it is my first choice had always been my father I campaigned for him when I was 11 years old.
He's still my first pick.
But, you know, now that the nominating process is over, tonight I'm happy to announce that I'm going to be supporting Governor Romney.
Alex Jones here with a message to Ron Paul, as well as his son, Senator Rand Paul.
I have supported you, Congressman, for 17 years on the air.
I've interviewed you more than 200 times.
And you have a voting record that is 100% constitutional.
And I have supported you because you've been a man of no compromise.
There can be no compromise with tyranny and oppression and unconstitutional usurpation of our liberties.
You know that.
And I watched the last few months in horror, knowing how the delegate process works, as your campaign encouraged your supporters to build up the biggest delegate count they could to supposedly take over the nomination.
And to now see you come out and say, we're still going, but be respectful, and yes, I can see we won't get enough delegates.
Taking wind out of your own sails, and out of our sails.
And at the same time, have your son, Senator Rand Paul, come out and with pleasure endorse Mitt Romney.
It's painful to watch.
What did you expect to happen from this?
Well, you're very politically smart.
You knew it would blow up in your face.
And I have to tell you, I am not going to go down on the Ron Paul ship.
If you don't come out and explain yourself to your constituents and supporters, this is going to spread like a cancer through Campaign for Liberty.
It's going to be a wedge that the globalist, corporatist media can use to drive into the Liberty Movement.
I know you have a lot of mainline advisors you guys have gotten.
I know Jesse Benton has brought some of those folks in, but it's time to get back to your roots.
Victor Hugo said no army can stop an idea whose time has come.
The idea of restoring the Republic has come.
You've admitted you're just a focal point of that.
Four years ago on my show, you said that half the support you got in your first campaign was from my listeners.
Well, my listeners are almost tearing my doors down in anger right now, and they're very, very sad because they believed in you.
And it is a compromise to go with Politics 101, as I saw one commenter on Infowars.com.
That, oh, you expand your base, you make alliances.
You can't do it with Mitt Romney, because he's been for carbon taxes, abortion, open borders, and helped write Obamacare.
You ran campaign ads against him!
Serial hypocrites and flip-floppers can't clean up a mess.
I'm Ron Paul and I approve this message.
But only after supporters demanded it.
It was clear you were playing nice with him and targeting Santorum during the campaign, at the debates.
But still, I ignored what my intuition and my political savvy told me.
I understand the political idea of expediency and that you've got all this capital politically and that if you don't go try to influence Romney it's all lost.
That's the thing.
You're not going to be able to influence Romney.
And six months down the road, if he unseats the tyrant Obama, he will continue doing what the very same globalist special interests want.
And now, your wagon and Rand's wagon is hooked to him.
I met with him recently.
I had about a 30-minute meeting with him.
One of the big issues is auditing the Fed.
We think there needs to be more transparency to the Fed.
And this is something that Governor Romney was supportive of.
I'm not going to spend my time going after Ben Bernanke.
I'm not going to take my effort and focus on the Federal Reserve.
It's important to have the Fed as an independent agency.
I do not think you want to have the Congress of the United States trying to pull strings.
Your supporters are intelligent.
They're sophisticated compared to mainline Republicans and Democrats.
And they understand that, so they're decoupling from you right now.
Ron Paul, all the capital you created that you tried to gamble on getting your son on the VP ticket or yourself into the cabinet is blowing up in your face.
You need to get ahead of this now.
You don't have long.
And come out and speak directly to your constituents, not in an email, but in a press conference for the world to see.
Or your 30-plus years of fighting tyranny is going to be seriously damaged.
We appreciate the work you've done, your great voting record being anti-war, being anti-Fellow Reserve, anti-globalist.
Standing up for national sovereignty, standing up against corporate welfare.
We know you're a good man.
We know Rand's a good man.
But you guys have gotten so close to the beltway, and you've had such success, you've been catapulted from being a man in the wilderness, Dr. No.
To the forefront, you really won Iowa and Maine.
You were winning and the system cheated you so they could put Mitt Romney in and now you're telling the delegates go to Tampa and be respectful and concede to Romney.
There's a major contradiction there.
I had listeners hammering me to get behind this delegate operation, and I said, look, maybe Ron Paul knows something I don't, but he's not going to be able to use these delegates, because even if he got close to a majority, they're going to point out that Romney won the majority of the states, and it's going to be spun as stealing an election.
Ron Paul needs to come out against the NDAA, against Obama launching wars without congressional approval and serious treason.
He needs to get behind Walter Jones' bill that we had to push Paul to do to impeach Obama.
For going under UN control and handing over our military to foreign powers.
I've seen a lot of signs.
A lot of people campaign for liberties bringing in right now.
Our Council on Foreign Relations and Globalist.
Best case scenario, the Ron Paul system.
Ron Paul Inc.
tried to take over the Republican Party and the opposite is happening.
Worst case scenario, they've been listening to some Benedict Arnolds inside.
And have absolutely fallen into a trap.
I'm ashamed that I didn't listen to the voices warning me in the last six months and pointing out this trail of many betrayals that we've been witnessing leading up to this larger betrayal.
Ron Paul, you know that tens of millions of Americans have broken their backs Out there knocking on doors and making phone calls and donating and giving money and fighting on the internet for you because you were no compromise.
And now to engage in old-fashioned political merger with Romney and all the things he's done.
Even if you have a good reason for it, it's not going to sell with your constituents.
And to watch you mortally wounding the movement that you helped build is very, very sad.
But again, liberty moves forward, people are waking up.
It's just that I wanted Campaign for Liberty and your dynasty that you helped create politically to move forward and be even stronger in the future.
That's why I encouraged Rand when nobody was supporting him to run for the Senate.
His first contributions came from my audience in Kentucky.
The people that first made up his original campaign staff were my listeners who moved from Texas and other areas up there to support you.
Then the Republican insiders tried to sabotage you.
Then the Democrats did.
And later, when you beat them, they came to you with a handout, and you began to walk down that road with them.
It's not too late, Rand, to turn back.
It's not too late, Ron, to turn back.
Don't destroy yourselves.
You have been warned.

And I'm telling you, what you're doing has gone over like a lead zeppelin.
You're going to be betrayed.

It's time to put the chips on the table.
The people that made you what you are politically today are all watching.

His supporters, like myself, he said of himself, are going to be disappointed.
And the first question I've got for him tonight, before we get into the latest trends, developments, what's happening in the world in general, And future trends he sees developing and new augmentations or things he can add to some of the interim and closer trends that are now unfolding.
Before we go there, I wanted to ask him the question that's on everybody's mind.
What does Gerald Cilente think of Senator Rand Paul, who's got a pretty good voting record compared to other senators, not as good as his dad, coming out And endorsing Mitt Romney while simultaneously he's been coordinating with his father's campaign and implying, hey, we're getting the delegates, we're still going to win somehow.
And I'd held my tongue, but around in the offices said, I don't want to hear about this delegate business.
Because if he went in there and even got enough delegates, the media would say he was stealing the election.
But I go, he doesn't even have 20%.
So everybody thinks he's going to win.
They're playing into this.
This is going to be a big letdown when Ron Paul doesn't win.
He's won by injecting constitutionalist ideas, exposing the Federal Reserve, crony capitalism, the monopoly system.
Well, in the same day, last night, Paul comes out in a press release, Senator Paul's father, Congressman Paul, and says, be nice, we're not going to win now with the delegates, go there and be respectful of a Republican system that's stolen delegates, a Republican system that has arrested people and beating them up as we speak at different delegate events everywhere where Paul's got all the delegates and the leadership says we're changing the rules and the cops beat everybody up.
The same Republicans that stole Iowa, that's now come out mainstream news.
The same delegates that have stolen all of these other... The same Republican system that's stolen the delegates and that's stolen these big races.
This is incredible!
And all Ron Paul has is that he's never compromised.
Even if we don't agree with all of his policies, and I agree with almost all of them, it's the fact that he never compromised, never flip-flopped, never was bought off, was a true blue person, even if he wasn't the best orator.
Now, to have Ron Paul come out and do this when his son on the same day comes out and endorses Romney, this has caused a mass exodus, a huge conniption fit inside of Libertarians and Constitutionalists.
And here's the big problem, and I covered it earlier in my message to Ron Paul.
The supporters are now being attacked by the mainline Republicans and said, ah, Kooks, shut up, he's gotten wise.
And it's very insulting and people feel betrayed, they feel used, and they're very, very angry, almost like a scorned woman.
And if this wasn't done on purpose by the Rand Paul and Ron Paul campaigns, it might as well have been.
If Jesse Benton didn't do this on purpose to destroy Ron Paul's name, Well, then a little devil told him in his ear, because you couldn't figure out a way to destroy Ron Paul's capital better than joining with Romney and telling people, hey, go sit down and shut up and be nice.
So that's my little rant on the subject.

What do you make of the whole Ron Paul, Rand Paul situation?
Rand Paul is an untested commodity.
He's brand new into the game.
He says a lot of things that get people, they knock them off kilter and then he gets back on.
So, you know, I'm not sold on him yet.
And as for Ron Paul, I'm disappointed.
And as you well know, and I've made it publicly clear, he could have been the only candidate that I would have voted for.
And I would have voted for him.
Again, I didn't agree with a lot of what he said, but a lot of, but most of what he said, particularly on the important issues of the wars and the Federal Reserve.
Now by him going and supporting the Republican Party, as I've made very clear, I look at the Republicans and the Democrats as just a political crime family.
A gang of 535.
That's how many Senators and Congressmen there are.
So I'm not going to be an accessory to the crime.
And by voting for a Republican or a Democrat, to me, it's a criminal act.
Because when Ron Paul or Rand Paul says to support...
The Republican Party and Mitt Romney, who is that supporting?

I mean, look at this cast of characters!

So, who are we supporting by going, taking Ron Paul's word to go after Mitt Romney?
Mitt Romney, there's nothing!
There's absolutely nothing!
There is nothing that Mittens-Romney stands for that one Ron Paul supporter I know could buy into it.
Tell me the issue.
Tell me one issue that Mittens is on board With what Ron Paul and all of his supporters, and I know a lot of these guys, particularly these young guys that gave all their sweat, their blood, and their money, and to really, really pound the pavement for Ron Paul.
So I have to tell you, to me this is a sellout.
Because doing anything with the Republican Party or the Democratic Party, as I said, is doing something with the Bananos or the Gambinos.
They're just a crime family with a white shoe label on them.
These are the mass murderers.
Send over drones, start wars, and rob your money.
Why would anybody support them unless they're out of their minds?
Gerald, Ron Paul has a great voting record.
He's a man of integrity.
What are they thinking?
Telling their constituents, hey, we're going to win with the delegates.
Don't worry.
And then now saying, oh, yeah, go be respectful of Romney, basically.
And the same day having Rand come out and make the announcement on Sean Hannity.
I mean, if Paul would have come out with a press conference with his son, Or if the Senator would have come out and explained, we believe it's politics 101, we want to try to influence from within.
Well that, I mean the polls don't do politics 101, or at least they hadn't.
That's why Ron was loved.
The way they did this is so destructive.
I mean do you think it's ham-fistedness?
Or do you think they lost touch?
Because just as somebody who studies this stuff, I couldn't have imagined, but I know you worked in politics as well.
Something more destructive, more stupid to do.
Why do you think they did this?
Just starstruck by Romney?
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know if it's inside their head or inside their heart.
And I can only speculate that they didn't have a shot at this.
And it was a face-saving move not to be excluded completely.
And maybe, you know, maybe they'll get a little bit of floor time or something.
Maybe they cut a little deal like that.
But it's good to be excluded from the...
I agree.
As I said, you know, I don't associate with lesser of two evils.
And that's what this is.
So what Ron Paul and Rand Paul have asked their supporters to do is to support a lesser of two evils.
And as I said, show me one, only one, one major issue that Ron Paul's supporters believed Ron Paul in, that Mittens Romney Supports.
I don't know of any.
So I see absolutely no validity in his doing something like this.
Well, I've quietly had high-level Republican media people contact me and basically tell me this was coming.
And I didn't even know what to say.
I didn't know if they were telling me the truth.
I figured they were.
They've given me good info before.
And just watching a lot of other things happening, Ron Paul was saying they were going to take over the Republican Party.
But instead, that mafia, as you've described it, that organized crime syndicate, it's just taking them over.
I don't think it's too late, though, for Ron Paul to come out and clarify his stance and try to pull out of this.
But if they continue down this road, man, I think this means curtains for the whole Ron Paul franchise.
Well, again, you know, Rand Paul coming out, and correct me if I'm wrong, supporting Romney.
Is that right?
Yes, we have the clip.
He says he's a great guy.
Yeah.
So, I mean, that to me loses all credibility.
You know, and there is absolutely, as I said, there's not one issue that Romney stands on that Ron Paul supporters believe in.
And here you have Rand Paul, that's supposed to be the follow-up to his father, selling out the folks.
And that's why I've said, Alex, as you well know, I'm not voting in this election.
And my belief is that if less than 40% of the people go to the polls, we can call this an illegitimate election.
What are they giving us?
A choice between Pepsi and Coke, Burger King or McDonald's?
You eat or drink any one of them, it's gonna kill you!

So that's our choice of a country of 312 million people, and we got these two presidential reality show candidates left?
I mean, do you see Obama on The View?

Well, first of all, on the political end, there's a huge vacuum.
And it's waiting to be filled.
And now Ron Paul has vacated it.
There is no Freedom Party anymore.
There's no Constitutional Party anymore.
It's gone.
And all of this election is going to be, again, it's going to be a corporate media election.
And you're the Bilderberg man, you and Webster Tarpley, you're the guys that, he put it on the map, you kept it on the map, and what you have done, the whole United States and much of the world should applaud you and your team for putting this out in public.
Because you've got the two Bilderberg buddies fighting it out.

So, now as we go, as you want me to look at what's going on in the world, this was a very important week and tomorrow is going to be an important day.
The Spanish government really desperately needs about 40 billion euros to bail out their banks.
They're going to be crying for more euro support.

The European Monetary Union charters have been destroyed.
They're not worth the paper they're printed on.
They're just a lot of crap.
They don't abide by them.
Countries aren't supposed to get bailed out.
The next big thing is, and this is very important, are they going to come out with a Eurobond scheme?
They're gonna take all these useless bonds from countries like Italy and Spain and Portugal and Greece and Ireland and put them in a basket and call one level on them so they can keep the Ponzi scheme going.
They're talking about doing a bond deal that they won't have to pay them off for 25 years.
Again, you said years ago, and Bob Chapman and many others, that exactly this would happen.
They implode it by design, claim they're the saviors, and then get everybody even into deeper debt when over 90% of it is derivatives that these gangsters created.
It's incredible, and we covered that in the news portion tonight.
They're now announcing it.
I mean, how much will Europe put up with?
They'll continue to do it, just like they put up in this country.
So as long as the systems stay up, and they keep the natives from rebelling, that's all they're interested in doing.
So I believe they're going to come up with another scheme that's going to keep this thing in check.
Now, China, just lowered interest rates and dumped more stimulus in.
Or Australia, lowered interest rates.
India, India, the rupee is crashing.
They're gonna dump more stimulus.
Inflation!
Inflation and just Brazil, lowering interest rates.
Their GDP numbers are way off.
Russia, look at the price of commodities.
Oil prices are plummeting.
Why?
A lot of it has to do with supply and demand.
The demand is not there.
So what we've got is depression in the real economy with certain areas of inflation.
That's like a double whammy, isn't it?
You got it.
And so they know this.
And so this is a big weekend.
Because if they don't put, this is the one to watch.
If the euro crisis isn't solved, the entire global economy crashes.
Most of China's exports go into Europe, the next big market is the US.
If the US and Europe don't buy, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, they don't sell.
If they don't make stuff to sell Australia, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, they're not exporting natural resources.
The entire system is collapsing.
The one to watch is Europe.
And listen!
Listen to what Obama is doing already.
They're already blaming Europe for the problems over here in the US.
And there's, I mean, the lousy job numbers, one thing after another, productivity numbers, new home sale numbers, you go down the list, they're blaming Europe.
Now, having said that, we saw Osama Bin Bernanke, America's public enemy number one yesterday, come out and say, well, you know, we haven't closed the door on QE3.
We're still looking at it.
Something may happen.
Here's my forecast.
Watch for the unemployment numbers in June and July, particularly the June numbers when they come out.
If they're dismal, count on more QE2.
To me, Bernanke is nothing more than a flunky for Obama, just like Greenspan was for Bush 1 and Bush 2.
But Bush 1, if you go back to the 1992 elections, They started lowering interest rates and juicing the economy before the 92 election and they just came up a little bit too short and allowed Bill Clinton to get in there.
They won't make this mistake this time.
They will do everything.
Everything to juice this economy before the election, and short of that, if they don't, El Presidente of Los Estados Unidos, because we've turned into a banana republic, will start a dandy little war.
