The Matt Walsh Show - Matt Walsh Reacts To His TikTok Haters Aired: 2024-06-10 Duration: 08:25 === Why Can't You Let Us Be Weird? (04:35) === [00:00:00] So we're going to venture again today into the dark, cavernous bowels of TikTok to watch and respond to some anti-me, anti-Matt Walsh TikTok videos. [00:00:11] You would never expect this. [00:00:12] It's shocking to learn this, but small minority. [00:00:16] On that website, do not like me very much. [00:00:20] I don't know why, but that's how they feel about it. [00:00:22] So we'll quickly go through, I think I've got five of these videos of the many to choose from. [00:00:28] Here's the first one. [00:00:29] Y'all, the crispy chicken thing, it's gotten out of control. [00:00:32] It's gotten out of hand, y'all. [00:00:34] Nobody can just let West Virginians be weird. [00:00:37] Y'all can't let us be weird, you gotta make it a discourse! [00:00:39] Because now, Matt Walsh has thrown his hat into the ring and get into our backwoods chicken sandwich business. [00:00:47] Y'all couldn't just let us laugh about things! [00:00:50] Couldn't let us have our memes! [00:00:52] Matt, you had to make it racist and weird! [00:00:54] And now every dumbass in town is gonna be like, Matt Walsh makes good points! [00:00:59] Because Matt Walsh is a literal demon. [00:01:01] You know what? [00:01:01] There's only one thing to do now. [00:01:03] I was going to avoid it, but there's only one thing left to do. [00:01:06] I have to go on Alligator Jackson's podcast. [00:01:09] Because now Matt Walsh is aware of Alligator Jackson, and if I do not want Diaper Baby Plushie Man to infiltrate my area, I've gotta go even the playing field. [00:01:18] God, Matt Walsh, why can't you just let us have fun? [00:01:21] Conservatives ruin everything, I swear to God. [00:01:24] We're having a fun time, laughing at our memes, making fun of this guy for making a fool of himself on Alligator Jackson's podcast, and Matt Walsh had to f*** it up like he f***s up everything else in my life. [00:01:35] I've screwed up everything in this person's life? [00:01:39] I mean, I don't know how I'm doing that. [00:01:40] I don't even know who this person is. [00:01:41] Now, just a little context here. [00:01:44] A few weeks ago, on the show, we talked about a manager of a fried chicken restaurant in West Virginia, in Huntington, I think it was, who went on a local West Virginia podcast, hosted by a man named Alligator Jackson. [00:01:56] Gator needs a scat, you punk f***ing b***h! [00:01:58] To claim that customers who don't like his restaurant are racist, And by the way, this is me getting involved in local issues in a positive way, because I will say that I mentioned this Alligator Jackson's podcast on the show a couple weeks ago, and at the time I think he had like 20 subscribers. [00:02:13] I just went to go check. [00:02:15] He's at like 500 now. [00:02:16] That's all Sweet Baby Gang. [00:02:17] So that's us supporting Alligator Jackson and his podcast. [00:02:21] That's what this guy, I think, is referring to. [00:02:23] A couple things. [00:02:24] First of all, I always enjoy it when I hear this from people. [00:02:28] Anytime I have an opinion about something and they say, why can't you just let us enjoy this? [00:02:33] Why can't you let us have fun? [00:02:35] How am I stopping you from enjoying anything? [00:02:38] Look, okay? [00:02:39] It's not my fault. [00:02:40] I didn't know that your enjoyment of a thing hinges on me personally endorsing it. [00:02:46] And finally, all I can say, sir, or madam, is that, sir, I'm going with sir. [00:02:54] In terms of stopping you from being weird, I assure you that I could not ever stop that. [00:03:02] There's nothing I can do to stop you from being... that. [00:03:07] He's too short, he dresses like a girl, he's... [00:03:10] That's something that your parents were for, and they apparently didn't do their job in that regard, and I'm quite sorry about that. [00:03:17] Which is a good segue into my next TikTok critic. [00:03:20] Let's watch that one. [00:03:21] I'm transgender. [00:03:22] It's possible that you could fool someone. [00:03:24] You've put your identity on the table. [00:03:26] Love and support for this beautiful trans woman. [00:03:28] But please don't debate Matt Walsh. [00:03:30] That man is a bad faith actor who is capitalizing off of transphobia to make money. [00:03:35] Plain and simple. [00:03:36] His intention in engaging in any sort of conversation about this is to get a soundbite and to embarrass the transgender community online. [00:03:43] If you're going to be talking to him, have a quick and witty response to what is a woman. [00:03:47] Just be, like, self-aware if you have the tools to debate him. [00:03:50] Joe Rogan ate this man up. [00:03:52] Jon Stewart would eat this man up. [00:03:54] If you can't, leave this man alone. [00:03:56] Focus on having your conversations about being trans with people that have empathy. [00:04:01] There are plenty of those people out here. [00:04:02] Leave Matt Walsh alone. [00:04:03] I agree. [00:04:04] Leave me alone. [00:04:06] Matt Walsh. [00:04:08] Transphobia. [00:04:09] His intention in engaging in... He says that if you're trans... [00:04:16] identified that you should have a quick and witty response to the "what is a woman?" question. Now, I have quite === Why Share Your Life Online? (04:05) === [00:04:22] famously been seeking such a response from the trans activist crowd for many, many years now, and I [00:04:29] think that the reason why there hasn't been a quick and witty response offered is because there is not [00:04:34] one available. [00:04:35] Yeah, great question. [00:04:40] I'm not a woman, so I can't really answer that. [00:04:43] As far as I can tell, and as far as apparently anyone can tell, there is no quick and witty way... [00:04:48] To give a wrong answer to the easiest question in existence. [00:04:53] And the second thing is that if you feel you can only debate people who empathize with you, that's a pretty good indication that you aren't very confident in your point of view. [00:05:02] But even if that is the standard, if the standard is that you should only debate people who have empathy for you, well, here's the good news. [00:05:09] I do have empathy. [00:05:10] I have a lot of empathy for trans-identified people. [00:05:12] A ton of empathy for them. [00:05:14] And that's why I tell them the truth. [00:05:16] Because there is no empathy without truth. [00:05:18] Whether you're feeling stressed or anxious, or simply seeking a moment of peace and tranquility, the Halo app has something for you. [00:06:14] I was just scrolling on my phone and I saw a picture of Shakshuka and I thought, you know what sounds really good? [00:06:19] Maybe I'm gonna learn how to make Shakshuka today. [00:06:22] I have no plans, and I don't have kids, and I don't have a husband, and I don't have errands to run. [00:06:26] I can go to the grocery store and learn how to make shakshuka, so that's on my agenda today. [00:06:31] Now, if that video was entirely inoffensive to you, and you're maybe even a little jealous of the 29-year-old named Julia, congratulations for being a normal human being. [00:06:43] However, for anti-freedom freak Matt Walsh, apparently that was a highly offensive video, So offensive that he started ranting about it. [00:06:51] Her life doesn't revolve around her family and kids, so instead it revolves around TV shows and pop stars. [00:06:57] Worst of all, she's too stupid to realize how depressing this is. [00:07:05] She's living the dream. [00:07:06] Like, bless her heart. [00:07:08] You know what I thought when I saw that video? [00:07:10] America. [00:07:11] So we have demon and anti-freedom freak. [00:07:14] I gotta put both of those in my bio. [00:07:15] Like, we don't need to open up this can of worms again. [00:07:17] We already did one whole news cycle about me being an awful bully because I expressed an opinion about a video that this woman chose to put on the internet. [00:07:26] One that, by the way, lots of other people were giving their opinions on. [00:07:30] I wasn't even like the first one, okay? [00:07:32] It wasn't like she posted that video and then I was the first comment on it. [00:07:36] Because I don't follow her work that closely or at all. [00:07:40] So, lots of people are giving their opinions about it one way or another. [00:07:43] I come along and say, well, here's my opinion also. [00:07:45] And then all of a sudden it's, well, how dare you bully this poor woman? [00:07:49] What is it? [00:07:50] It's none of your business how she chooses to live. [00:07:52] Okay, well then why didn't you put it on the internet? [00:07:54] Like, why are you making a video and saying, hey internet, here's how I live my life? [00:07:57] The moment you do that, you are inviting the internet to give their opinion back to you. [00:08:02] If you don't want their opinion, don't tell them. [00:08:04] Damn, actually. [00:08:05] To the claim that I was offended by it, there's nothing about it that personally offends me. [00:08:10] The reason I don't find it offensive is that I find it pitiful. [00:08:12] And I don't want you to lead a pitiful existence centered around nothing but yourself and your own amusement, but it doesn't really harm me. [00:08:22] If you do. [00:08:23] I don't want people to live lives like this, even if it's not me.
