The Matt Walsh Show - New Series ‘Convicting a Murderer’ Exposes Media Manipulation Aired: 2023-09-09 Duration: 02:24 === I Told You So (02:24) === [00:00:00] You know, I'd hate to say I told you so, but I don't actually hate to say I told you so. [00:00:03] I love saying it. [00:00:04] So, from the very beginning of when the Stephen Avery case became sensationalized by the series Making a Murderer, I've been very outspoken on my belief and my opinion that Stephen Avery is completely guilty. [00:00:14] I posted it all over my socials. [00:00:16] The man is a convicted murderer. [00:00:19] Not afraid to say it. [00:00:19] It's so blatantly obvious that he committed this crime. [00:00:21] But Hollywood, for some very strange reason, wanted to paint this man as an innocent victim of corrupt law enforcement. [00:00:28] He wasn't. [00:00:28] The filmmakers left out huge parts of the story to support an anti-police narrative and make him seem more innocent than he was. [00:00:34] That's just good television, I suppose, but it's also dishonest and wrong. [00:00:39] We at The Daily Wire happen to think that good television can also be aligned with the truth. [00:00:42] Candace Owens has dedicated her entire career to exposing how the media cherry-picks information to fit whatever narrative they want to peddle at the moment, and now she has come out with a new 10-part series called Convicting a Murderer. [00:00:54] This series is going to give you the full story of the case of Stephen Avery and his involvement in the murder of Teresa Halbach. [00:01:00] Details about his criminal history, his character, and violent tendencies towards women. [00:01:03] Evidence that was all left out, rearranged, or misrepresented. [00:01:06] It's all going to come to the surface. [00:01:07] Most importantly, you're going to see how Hollywood and the media craft narratives to influence the public in a way that's favorable to them. [00:01:14] It's one of the biggest things we've done in Daily Wire history. [00:01:17] Here's the teaser. [00:01:17] Take a look. [00:01:19] Coming up on Convicting a Murderer. [00:01:20] Part of me don't want to believe that he did this. [00:01:23] The blood that was on that back area was indicative of a head wound. [00:01:27] My brother likes to push a lot of people around. [00:01:29] I don't give a f*** about anything. [00:01:31] I ain't gotta listen to nobody. [00:01:33] How were these filmmakers able to convince so many people that a man like Stephen Avery is innocent? [00:01:39] How many times did he stab her? [00:01:42] Once. [00:01:43] and show me where. [00:01:45] Right here. [00:01:46] They gave him power. [00:01:47] They're trying to get everything out of me that they can. [00:01:49] It's not good for an Avery to have power. [00:01:51] I told you all along, keep your mouth shut. [00:01:54] That can hurt, Steven. [00:01:56] I'm not gonna lie for him no more, I can't do it. [00:01:58] Watch "Convicting a Murderer," [00:02:00] a new 10-part series on Daily Wire+.
