[00:00:08]  Today, Joe Biden announced he was going to use the full force of the federal government to mandate that all companies with 100-plus employees force their workers to be vaccinated or subject them to weekly tests for COVID-19.
[00:00:18]  I just got off the phone with our lawyers, and I just want to reiterate something that I already said today on Twitter.
[00:00:24]  No.
[00:00:25]  The Daily Wire does have more than 100 employees, but we won't be enforcing Joe Biden's unconstitutional and tyrannical vaccine mandate.
[00:00:32]  That's it.
[00:00:33]  We'll use every tool at our disposal, including legal action, to resist.
[00:00:37]  Biden's ultimatum will impact over 80 million private sector workers.
[00:00:41]  Companies that refuse to comply will face up to $14,000 in fines for every single violation.
[00:00:47]  So I'm sure most companies will probably just do it.
[00:00:49]  They don't have much choice.
[00:00:51]  We won't.
[00:00:52]  It's not that we're anti-vaccine.
[00:00:54]  I'm personally very pro-vaccine.
[00:00:56]  I think the COVID vaccines are probably the greatest scientific achievement so far in the 21st century.
[00:01:01]  And I think the speed at which they were created may be Trump's greatest achievement as president.
[00:01:05]  They seem to do a pretty good job preventing hospitalization and a great job preventing death from COVID-19.
[00:01:10]  That's terrific.
[00:01:11]  If I were a dictator, I'd probably make you get it.
[00:01:14]  But I'm not a dictator.
[00:01:15]  And neither is Joe Biden.
[00:01:17]  He has no right to impose this burden on American businesses.
[00:01:20]  How are we supposed to pay for it?
[00:01:21]  What are we going to do with all these new liabilities that we incur from injecting ourselves into the private health decisions of our employees?
[00:01:28]  More to the point, he has no right to impose this burden on the American people.
[00:01:31]  It's anti-science, and it's totalitarian, and we cannot comply with it.
[00:01:36]  I say anti-science, because the mandate contains no exceptions for those in low-risk demographic groups.
[00:01:41]  There's no exceptions for those with natural immunity.
[00:01:43]  Also, there's no taking into account the fact that these vaccines are pretty effective.
[00:01:48]  So if you're vaccinated, congratulations!
[00:01:50]  You're at low risk from COVID-19, whether your neighbor's vaccinated or not.
[00:01:54]  And that's good news, since your vaccinated neighbor can still transmit the damn disease.
[00:01:59]  And I say it's tyrannical, because using unelected bureaucratic machinery like OSHA to force small businesses into becoming the vaccine and testing enforcement arm of the federal government is definitionally anti-democratic.
[00:02:12]  It marks a dramatic break with our constitutional order.
[00:02:16]  According to Reuters, 75% of American adults are already vaccinated.
[00:02:20]  At least, they've already received one dose of the vaccine.
[00:02:23]  And 53%, according to the CDC, are fully vaccinated.
[00:02:27]  So people who want the COVID vaccine already have it.
[00:02:30]  And those who don't want it shouldn't have to get it, because it's a free country.
[00:02:36]  It's not your job to protect me from me.

[00:02:38]  And you already have the tools to protect yourself from me.
[00:02:40]  So Joe Biden has no compelling reason to encroach on our liberties.
[00:02:44]  Other than he just doesn't like what we do with them.
[00:02:47]  Well, guess what?
[00:02:48]  Joe Biden isn't your mom.
[00:02:49]  The government isn't your mom.
[00:02:51]  And your employer sure as hell isn't your mom.
[00:02:54]  We've already watched for over a year and a half as Americans have ceded liberty after liberty to wannabe tyrants like Anthony Fauci.
[00:03:01]  They broke our economy.
[00:03:02]  They locked us in our homes.
[00:03:04]  They destroyed our supply chains.
[00:03:05]  They crushed our small businesses.
[00:03:07]  They massed our children.
[00:03:08]  Enough.
[00:03:09]  That is enough.
[00:03:13]  So the answer's no.
[00:03:14]  No, The Daily Wire won't be enforcing Joe Biden's petty tyranny.
[00:03:17]  We've already retained legal counsel, and we're prepared to go to battle with this administration to put an end to their unconstitutional bullshit.

[00:03:27]  If they do, great.
[00:03:28]  If they don't, that's fine too.
