U.S. Attacks Iran Emergency Pod

Jerry D.A. Texton and Nick Houseman dissect the U.S.-Israel joint strike on Iran, eliminating top commanders but leaving the regime intact despite Trump’s calls for overthrow or annihilation amid closed Strait of Hormuz and Dubai attacks. Intelligence warnings about empowering hardliners, military morale issues (like USS Gerald Ford toilet sabotage), and Schumer’s unconstitutional push for war authorization underscore reckless escalation risks—China/Russia involvement could trigger WWIII. Past failures in Iraq/Afghanistan, neoconservative influence, and Trump’s imperialist ambitions (e.g., Cuba tensions) reveal a strategy fueled by greed and revenge, not reform, with 80 civilian deaths in an Iranian girls’ school as a grim example. The JPCA’s revival remains unlikely as the crisis deepens. [Automatically generated summary]

Regime Change Debates 00:14:59
Hey, everybody.
Welcome to an emergency edition of the Military Podcast.
It's fucking Saturday, so you know, things are great.
I'm Jerry D.A. Texton here with Nick Houseman.
Nick, how you doing, bud?
I'm okay.
I'm okay.
But, you know, we were promised that if we voted for Donald Trump, we would have no wars.
Yeah, I mean, the peace president's fantastic.
He also promised that if Kamala won, we would have.
Yeah, we'd have war.
I mean, I mean, a lot of this was going to happen somewhere down the pike.
It all depends on how it was going to occur because capitalism has to be fed.
But let's set the table first and foremost.
For those tuning in, the United States of America and Israel carried out a joint operation in which they attacked Iran.
The United States of America focused largely on military installations.
Israel went for a decapitation attack.
We're still not sure whether or not the Ayatollah was actually killed in this attack.
Many top commanders were killed, but they have a pretty deep bench.
They have a lot of people step up.
That doesn't mean this thing is over.
Immediately, Iran started retaliating.
As of this point, there have been missiles either fired or have hit in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and the UAE.
By the way, over in Dubai, which was never supposed to be touched by anything like this.
Mass damage over there.
Meanwhile, as this has happened, the Strait of Hormuz has closed.
Just a little hint, if y'all have cars out there, I would go fill those up today as soon as you're listening to this podcast.
Probably listen to this while you're filling your cars up.
Trump showed up looking like warmed over death in Mar-a-Lago.
That's right.
The potential World War III is being controlled from Mar-a-Lago, a bullshit Chinsey resort in Florida.
He showed up looking like warmed over death, saying that he wanted the people of Iran to overthrow their government, that this was their opportunity, and that everybody in the country should put down their weapons or face certain death.
Nick, I think that says it all a little bit about where we're at.
I mean, a great Saturday.
Best Saturday I've had since Nicholas Maduro was kidnapped and hogtied and brought over to the United States.
I'm old enough to remember that.
Now, the interesting thing I'm keeping my eye on are where the troops, where are the actual soldiers, either Israel we can look at too, but with American soldiers.
Are there going to be any type of presence by American soldiers on Iranian soil?
Because if not, and they're just going to lob rockets in there and hope to kill some people, which by the way, they can do that.
Like, you know, if you want to compare the ability of Iran to the United States in terms of accuracy of missiles, it's not even close.
Like Iran can get a missile in the vicinity of where they want it, like in the country they're aiming for.
But the precision that the United States has could very well have gotten Ayatollah.
They might have gotten him.
But the problem here is that it just creates a succession of basically military rule in Iran.
I don't see what, and I don't even know.
Was the goal?
Is the president of the United States, is Trump stating that the goal is to have some sort of regime change that's pro-Western?
Is that the goal here?
Well, Nick, and there's a lot wrapped up in everything you just said.
And, you know, for anybody who hasn't seen it already, I went live over on Substack talking about why this has happened.
We can talk about why Donald Trump does this or does that.
The larger capitalist influences are here.
This is what we've talked about.
The declining American empire, capitalism requiring more accumulation and the fact that we have an oligarchical weapons dealer class.
And by the way, Donald Trump is on the take from every Middle Eastern nation outside of Iran.
Okay.
So that's all that behind.
The questions that we're talking about right now, because we're in the early parts of this.
But by the time people listen to this, by the time we started recording, there might have already been something massive that has happened to change this.
You're not going to get regime change using missile strikes.
That's not how anything works, particularly with a regime like the Iranian regime that is so deeply embedded in every facet of that society and all places of power.
You have to have boots on the ground.
I think Israel thinks there's a possibility.
They have called up a lot of tens of thousands of their reservists.
Donald Trump told America that, yeah, some Americans might die from this, which when you hear that, you know, things are going to be a little bit different.
But we also don't know, Nick, how many different factors we keep talking.
We keep talking about how many flashpoints we keep tiptoeing around one mine after another in a minefield.
Here in this situation, maybe cooler heads will end up prevailing.
Maybe Iran will again.
Maybe they made a show of retaliating and they're going to back off now.
But the moment you tell them that you want to overthrow their government, that puts them in a corner.
And there's no more like off-ramps.
Nick, they have been negotiating with the United States of America as this took place.
So they're not going to back off of this.
Maybe the United States will get tired of this and they'll say, you know what, we did what we were going to do.
Maybe Israel will handle everything.
I don't know.
But at some point, you have to ask, is Russia going to get involved in this?
Is China?
They're certainly going to meet over the next couple of days to decide what to do with their ally of Iran.
We don't know where this next thing is going, but what has been stated to us doesn't end with missile strikes.
There's no way.
And by the way, I have to say, in the middle of all this, we're talking about geopolitics.
We fucking hit a school of Iranian girls.
And already there are over 80 deaths.
Okay.
Like we need to remember that there are human beings who are being killed and hurt and traumatized here.
And now all of a sudden we're like, oh, what will this great power do?
What will this great power do?
We just continue to play Russian roulette with geopolitics.
And now, like, we don't know what the next step is.
We don't have a clue.
We don't have a fucking clue.
Right.
And it's fascinating to me that Iran wanted to widen the war by starting lobbying missiles across, you know, I guess it gets messier and perhaps it was going to be more of a deterrent for an attack, but it doesn't sound like that makes too much sense to me.
And, you know, the neocons here, this is a really interesting position for like MAGA and neocons and all these different people to be in because nobody wants this.
Nobody wants everybody remembers, even if they were supporting the Iraq war back in the day, remembers what a quagmire that became and how we simply would not be able to do that.
It's not, that would not happen in Iran.
Now, we have all these protests that were cracked down on recently in a really violent, horrible way.
I mean, they were murdering like doctors who were treating people who were shot.
Like that's how horrible this was.
And that doesn't change necessarily with the Ayatollah being taken out with a missile.
That's the other thing.
Oh, I had a moment when you were talking about a doctor being shot at a protest for trying to help someone.
I thought you were talking about Alex Predi.
Yeah.
Anyway, you know what?
That is another great point.
Yeah, I just had a moment there.
Sorry.
Yeah.
So we're, you know, so that's the other issue here.
It's like, what the end game here, you know, you would have thought they would have learned at some point that it needs to be a lot clearer than what it is because they were in the middle of like, was this, is this some sort of twisted negotiation ploy for another new agreement on a nuclear deal?
Because, you know, there was this indication they would have gotten like more concessions than Obama got.
And as far as we understand, in the adult brain of Trump, that's the main thing here.
He just needs to get like one other thing that they didn't get with the Obama thing.
And that's great.
That's good enough for him.
But meanwhile, the agreement that they did have that was in place was pretty stringent and was working.
So we said this in the last episode.
If and when they ultimately get this new agreement, it's going to be the same thing as it was for like NAFTA.
It's the same deal.
They'll just put a couple different levels.
But they don't want a deal.
They don't want a deal.
Like all like all sources said that they were bending over backwards to give America everything they wanted and more.
This isn't, they don't want a deal.
They want to take Iran out.
I think there's a couple of things off of what you were just saying that I want to point out.
First things first, I think that when it comes to like negotiations, I think it's very clear at this point that they were not in good faith, that the United States of America was always heading towards this.
And you said the neocons and MAGA, like they don't care that we don't agree with this.
That doesn't factor into anything.
Nick, they don't give a fuck about elections.
And for the record, I don't think it's a coincidence that Israel is supposed to have elections in the fall and the United States of America is supposed to have elections in the fall.
And you have two complete utter fucking criminals, authoritarian fascist, who want to hang on to power.
And like I said this in the live stream, they can't fucking level Gaza anymore.
There's no Gaza.
It's gone.
So you got to go somewhere else.
And now it's time for the big enchilada.
And you've got a guy who is on the take and is more than happy to use it.
And Nick, here's the big thing in all of this.
The only thing the United States of America has left is the military.
It's the only thing that works because that's where all of our money went.
That's all the money they stole.
It went to personal bank accounts and the United States military.
And guess what?
Those people who were against interventions and they hated the Iraq war.
Do you know why they were against no new wars, Nick?
Because the last war that we had, we ate shit in.
Right.
It was embarrassing and we got dogwalked in it and we had to leave with our tails tucked between our legs.
That Maduro thing, that got them hard, man.
That got them real fucking hard.
And they were like, oh, we can do whatever we want with this military now.
It's the only thing Trump has left.
And now that he has discovered, quite frankly, I've been thinking about this all the day, the subtitle, or how I learned to start loving the bomb.
That's what this is, is they don't have anything else.
And it's not a coincidence that all the motivations we're talking about run in lockstep with the real people who are the oligarchs who create all this weaponry.
The money they've made today, Nick, the money that those motherfuckers have made today, it's their interest and it's the interest of capitalism at large.
Everything else, what Donald Trump does and what other people do, it's driven by that stuff.
Everything else is just a story about why things are happening.
I guess, you know, part of me just feels like, no, this is a negotiation because I think that this ends with some sort of a weird agreement where they're not going to, you know, again, they're going to say they're not going to want nuclear weapons.
I honestly feel that way.
Now, the question is.
They're trying to get rid of the Ayatollah and they're trying to put in the descendant of the Shah.
Like they didn't just hit military installations.
They didn't just hit like the Republican Guard.
They hit leftist in Iran.
They're trying to get the descendant of the Shah in power.
I mean, I'm trying to walk through the steps that would have to happen because it's not like if you took out Trump, let's just say, you know, in a horrible, you know, terrorist attack, whatever, and like a lot of the leadership, we already, okay, if there's only Democrats left and they would take over, okay, like there's the system that we have set up here would kind of lead to something like that.
But there is no infrastructure like that in Iran.
There are no dissidents that have like a coalition that could somehow, well, we're the ones left.
We're going to take over the government.
It doesn't work that way.
Nick, you are thinking about this more than they are.
That's the incredible thing.
Like, wait, okay, when was it, was it Tuesday's episode?
read that Brett Stevens article where he was arguing for attacking Iran.
The people who want this, they don't have an answer for what comes next.
The only thing they care about is avenging the humiliation of 1979.
That's it.
It's just, it lives rent-free in their head in a way that nothing else ever has.
You have considered this more than the neocons at this point.
The generals told them no, intelligence told them no, and they don't give a fuck.
Yeah.
Here's the other interesting thing is because we know we haven't had a major terror attack on American soil since 9-11.
Right.
And part of the reason is, you know, there have been some winding down of our positions in some of the places that inflame a lot of Muslim terrorists who would want to do something like that, right?
Well, what do you think is going to happen now?
And what do you think the threat level is going to be?
And that definitely connects to perhaps what happens in November with elections, because it's hard to make a connection between attacking Iran now in February and elections in November unless, well, I mean, it's terrible.
It's an absolutely horrible idea that they're forcing me to have to consider, right?
That this let him lock him down.
Nick, you have to consider that.
Again, the conversation that we are having, I'm not even joking.
We're on minute 13.
We have now had a more substantive conversation than the Trump administration has had about any of this.
Nick, I want to say two words, and it's a name.
Are you ready?
To go off of what you just said about the possibility of terrorist attacks or sleeper cells in the United States of America.
Are you ready?
Hold on to your butt.
You ready for that name?
Yeah.
Kash Patel.
Oh my God.
Kash Patel is in charge of the FBI, which would be the group that is supposed to take care of this.
Last time I checked, Nick, morning anchors were going public with videos negotiating with hostage takers.
Yeah.
That's the level of protection that we're talking about now.
And if you tell Iran, and that's the thing, man, to go out there and say, overthrow your leaders, and everybody's like, this is a regime change war.
I think it is a regime change war, but I think Donald Trump said that to try and get the Iranian people to just rise up and do the work for them, you know?
But you then put it in the mind of the regime that it's all or nothing.
You either survive the war and come out the other side or you're dead and out of power, right?
So now all of a sudden, if they have sleeper cells in the United States of America, and surely they do, like, why wouldn't you operate them?
Well, that's the thing.
It's so fucking stupid and so fucking wrong that it's just, it's the biggest fuck up that you could ever imagine the way this thing is going down.
Yeah.
I just, and again, regime change, the way that anybody would describe it and putting in the Shah's grandkid, whatever, whoever, I'm actually racking my brain to remember, you know, when they installed the Shah in the 50s.
Yeah.
So we had a puppet and, you know, we were able to benefit from gas.
Israel's Puppet Masters 00:02:39
And help me remind me because you study this more.
I lived a little bit through it.
But, you know, so I suppose like I'm trying to think, what would the Middle East feel like if they actually had a friendlier government or a friendly puppet in charge in Iran?
And does that work?
And I suppose, like, it's certainly, I guess the question that you're asking, like, where is this coming from?
What is the motivation?
And we know it's Israel, right?
It has to be the person who is people who have, or Netanyahu is the guy that's controlling Trump a lot on this one.
Is that what you agree that take to say?
I think, okay, I want to be careful with that because I think that leads to simplistic explanations that it's like Israel controls Trump through Epstein.
You know what I mean?
Like, I think that's where that tends to go.
Okay.
Which that's that's out there in the ether, of course.
There's like a lot of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories that basically Israel owns America, which is for the record for people who don't know this, that is an extension of the Zionist occupied government Zog conspiracy theory.
But there is the thing where Donald Trump, and there's no silver bullet explanation.
First, Donald Trump is stupid.
He loves using the military now because it's the last thing he can do.
We haven't even talked about the fact that our corporate media and the Democratic Party are just clicking their fucking heels on this shit.
Then on top of it, Nick, he has been bribed by basically every Middle Eastern country outside of Iran.
Then you add to that the fact that he's very, very unpopular.
This is the only thing that works for him.
And then you add to it the fact that like Israel has an unnatural like ability to sway American politics.
And it comes from everything from APAC to Christian Zionism, you name it.
It all sort of comes together.
So it does feel like a lot of this is being driven by Israel.
I don't think you can argue otherwise, but it always has to be careful in terms of how you frame it.
I mean, by the way, Epstein wasn't really a part of it, but we do, you know, there's enough smoke in terms of Epstein working with Israeli intelligence to sort of his levels.
I hear you.
No, he was a massage agent for sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Like, like, does it end up being worth it?
You know, we actually refine more oil on our soil now than we ever importing from the Middle East.
Well, you know, you know, an interesting little facet in all this, Nick.
If you knew that at some point or another that you and Israel were going to attack Iran and it was going to hurt oil, man, what, wouldn't it be something if you attacked an oil-rich company and kidnapped their president and basically created a puppet out of their vice president?
Best Case Scenario 00:10:37
Wait, you're talking about the United States?
I'm talking about Venezuela.
Oh, okay.
I'm talking about you go in and you take over a country and you take over their oil and you're basically trying to make up for what's happening.
Again, by the way, everyone listening to this, if you haven't filled up your car already, because Monday is going to be a wild day.
I'm just putting that out there.
Right.
But to throw it out there again, remember, because we drill more gas now in America, you wonder exactly what that is.
It's not going to be like, you know, the gas shortages in the 70s.
I don't, I don't.
I don't know what it's going to be like.
I really don't.
Because here's the other thing about it, man.
Everything in this economy is so fucked up.
Like, I have no idea.
Like a lot of people right now are making an incredible amount of money.
Like the stock market maneuvers prior to this operation at the end of last week, they tend to show that there was a lot of inside information that knew that shit like this was going to happen.
And maybe it would be absorbed and maybe even it would be taken advantage of.
So we're living in the upside down.
So the best case scenario is they got the Ayatollah.
He's dead.
They got a bunch of the military leaders.
I don't know.
Can we show you?
Is that the best case scenario?
Well, okay.
And we pretend that they somehow the guy takes control who's connected to the shah like and they go a pro-Western government in like wait.
Are you telling me the revolutionary guard is just like, hey, let's go?
Right.
No, like that.
By the way, that's the other thing.
The revolutionary guard will take control.
Yeah.
No matter what.
They might even say, well, this is temporary until we get everything under control and then we'll whatever.
But like.
Intelligence told Trump.
And of course, like, I don't know if they made a cartoon for him, but intelligence told Trump that if he, if he took out the Ayatollah, that hardliners in the Revolutionary Republican Guard would take over and would probably be even more dangerous to America.
And Israel and everywhere else.
Yeah.
Yeah.
No, it's it.
There's no answer to this that is just like, well, we got a couple of people and now we move on.
We're not going to be greeted as liberators.
That's not happening.
Well, that's the thing.
Don't think they're going to be greeted because they're not going to Trump even is not going to, well, you think he's going to send troops onto the into the ground?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Would you bet against it?
Okay.
You know, when I went to bed last night, I didn't expect to wake up to this.
I thought there was a real chance this was going to happen sometime soon.
But man, I'm telling you, like, shit is happening real fast.
And it's, it's, I've said this before, Nick.
It's bad enough that we're living at the end of American empire, which makes everything infinitely more dangerous.
The fucking idiots and criminals that we have in charge, like you combine that with the Tinderbox.
Yeah.
No, I, you know, I wish you hadn't had to bring up the Kash Patel piece to this because, yeah, you, you, you know, even with 9-11, for instance, if you study it, you realize they were, they were pretty close to unwinding the whole thing, right?
They had the 20th hijacker.
They had a woman in Minnesota at the FBI office who's like, you know, almost breathlessly running to the, you know, the phone to make the call, like, stop that plane, like almost kind of got there.
But like, yes, there is no way based on how what we've seen the last year to have expect any amount of competence in this sector.
They haven't even recognized that as being a big threat, you know, in their public statements.
So and I want to I want to talk for a minute about the Democratic response, but I do want to put one more thing out there, just as a little note.
Nick, you remember how we were talking about how the USS Gerald Ford was having all the toilet problems?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did you hear the follow-up on that?
No.
What happened?
It was the crew that was sabotaging the toilets to try and stop.
What?
They were putting shit down in the toilet like that would get stopped, clogged up.
Yes.
Yes.
To try and keep their ship out of the war.
That is fascinating.
So now all of a sudden we're talking about a war that nobody wants, that hasn't been justified whatsoever to the American public.
And by the way, if we get to the point where boots are supposed to be on the ground or heaven forbid China helps them sink an aircraft carrier or start taking down some of our ships, if shit starts popping off, can you tell me that the military who has been degraded and demeaned and diminished by the Trump administration and treated like shit, do we know that they're going to fight that war?
Like we are, we are on the tip of something.
And maybe, maybe, maybe this thing will get solved in the next couple of days.
Like I said, maybe everyone will be like, hey, we really need to back off of this thing and find an off-ramp.
But if it continues to escalate and things continue to go in this direction, Nick, shit gets really weird.
Really, really weird very quickly.
It's all quiet on the Iranian front.
That is fascinating.
That is very fascinating because I don't think we've ever really had to consider whether like we'd have troops that would that would not fight or not well I mean we did in Vietnam I mean there were some officers who had some really interesting ends in Vietnam But I do want to talk very quickly, Nick.
The Democratic response has been as shitty as imaginable.
Democratic leadership, they're very pissed off that Congress didn't authorize this.
I know you're surprised.
So we have Chuck Schumer who's calling for Congress to vote on authorizing it.
And I'll tell you something.
If we do have that vote, and I don't think we will, but I'll make a prediction, Nick.
I'll go ahead and put it.
I'll go on, is it Valshi?
Is that what it's called?
Is it sure?
Yeah.
Valshi, whatever the fuck.
I'll make a prediction right now.
If that vote is held, there will be just enough Democrats to go ahead and get that authorization vote over the finish line.
I'll just go ahead and make that vote.
I mean, by the way, the vote should have been two weeks ago saying you cannot attack Iran.
Sure.
And if it fails, it fails, whatever, but that should have been the push they've been doing.
And I think there was a bit of a push to try and do something, but no one can get organized enough to do it.
We need to figure out how to put in place that law that requires approval from Congress.
I mean, that's already the law.
It's already the Constitution.
Right.
They need to figure out how to have it have teeth again or whatever.
Now, you remind me, who was the first president to do it?
Is it Vietnam to really bypass Congress?
Yeah.
So who, do you remember what the first one was?
Is it Iraq?
I mean, no, Iraq got authorization.
Oh, no, that's right.
Well, actually, Democrats were right there with him.
No, I mean, we've had police actions.
We've had strikes, all those things.
We've had tons of that shit.
And again, he's not going to be held responsible.
You're right.
Like, I wish there was a way to fix it, but there's no way to fix it.
I think we're entering a new chapter, man.
It really feels that way.
I agree.
I agree.
And again, I'm still trying to figure out.
So I kind of try to pretend what the best case scenario would be is like somehow, yeah, they get a pro-Western government in there and it's somehow stable.
The worst scenario is we are mired in a prolonged war, just like with Afghanistan.
I mean, and again, why would China or Russia allow one of their major allies to be completely taken over and absorbed into a rival nation sphere of influence?
Right.
Why?
Why would they do that?
Peace with Iran is what Iran is as well.
They're trying to expand the war as well to continue to make that a threat.
There's nothing good comes out of this.
It's cool as shit, man.
It's really good.
I feel great about it.
I fucking hate these people.
I fucking, prison is too good for these people.
Like the death and destruction that they cause, the suffering that they cause.
Like I, at this point, I don't, if there are people who are still holding on for hope that somehow or another, this is just going to reform itself or that we're, you know, if we just get to the midterms, they'll be fine.
I, I, I don't know what to say anymore.
Like the veneer on this thing has just completely come off.
Well, and the worst part about it is it's rooted in corruption, right?
Oh, it's, in corruption and greed and just absolute inhumanity.
These people hate humanity.
And it's, and it has nothing to do with the humanitarian, uh, humanitarian cause to try and, you know, rescue the Iranian people.
That's well, why didn't if that was, if that was the case, and of course, Donald Trump doesn't give a shit about those people.
If that was the case, why didn't they do it while the protests were like really going?
Right.
Before they slaughtered tens of thousands of people, why wouldn't you do it then?
Right.
And they're not even arguing about that.
It's so, it's so offensive.
What makes you?
So here's the interesting thing as well is why didn't they do this in the first Trump term?
That's a great question.
That is an excellent question.
They had adults.
They still had people who could steer that ship.
That is a distinct possibility that MAGA had to mutate into its next form, more or less.
And that's because the guardrail is no longer around.
The guardrails, the guardrails were completely, that's the thing that we find.
Guardrails are completely imaginary all the time.
And whenever they knock one over, and here we find like weird intersections people didn't understand.
Like this is a neoconservative thing.
Like that's what this is.
That's why you look at the Atlantic and Tom Nichols is like, some good things might come from this.
It's like, Jesus fucking God, people.
Like, this is absolutely.
And by the way, you know the name that we haven't even mentioned in all of this, Nick?
Marco Rubio.
Marco Rubio is one of the most disastrous and consequential secretaries of state that we have ever seen.
Like he is, he has pushed so much of this.
On top of that, you know what we didn't even get to on the last episode?
Like Cuba.
Like after that shooting, like now all of a sudden they're making more sort of like feints towards Cuba.
Like, I mean, it's not going to stop.
Like they have discovered the military.
They love the military.
The militarism was the last piece.
That's why I was screaming that for years.
This imperialism is not going to stop.
Strange Allegiances and Events 00:01:44
No chance.
Absolutely.
Well, I just pray for everybody in the region that they can be safe and figure out how to do this.
Because again, part of me feels like there's a good chance that this will dissipate.
You know, the bombs stop flying, whatever.
I hope you're right.
You know, a bullshit piece of paper that will, you know.
But by the way, again, I will go down swinging saying that the original Obama agreement, JPCA, was working and was keeping Iran away from a nuclear weapon.
And I'm telling you, I feel like they're just going to struggle at some point in a couple of weeks and be like, oh, okay, we got this agreement now.
So we're going to be one.
I hope, I hope for everyone's sake that that is true.
I have my doubts, but you're right.
I mean, the agreement was there.
It was working.
Yeah.
It just doesn't seem like there's that many other possibilities because otherwise the other possibility would be like World War III.
Yeah, that's what we're talking about.
There's a distinct possibility.
I'm not going to lie to the people.
They listen to this show, you know, and trust us.
Like, I'm not going to lie and sit here and tell people that this couldn't possibly be the start of World War III.
Yeah.
It could be war at all.
It could just be dozens of countries involved in a prolonged, you know, and hot and cold and all sorts of stuff, you know.
And all kinds of switching allegiances and strange events.
Anyway, all right.
We just wanted to do this.
Man, what a shitty way to start the weekend.
We'll be back with the regular show on Tuesday.
Hopefully, hopefully we don't have to do another emergency show like tomorrow.
Good God.
We did four episodes this week.
That was the kind of week it was.
Fucking bullshit.
These motherfuckers.
All right.
If you need us before, then you can find us on Blue Sky Nicks at Nick Houseman.
I'm a JY Sexton.
We safe, everyone.
