I I I'm a little bit flummoxed, Nick.
There are stories sometimes that it's hard to wrap your head around.
It's hard to deal with the enormity of them, what they are, what they're saying.
The Weekender Edition is usually a little bit of a dress down sort of a thing.
We have So much to talk about tonight.
We all know the major story right now in American politics is, of course, this developing controversy with Representative Matt Gaetz, who, right before we came to air, more Developments have come out that we need to talk about, we need to address.
There are implications of this developing story that are larger, that unfortunately nobody's talking about because they don't really like enjoying talking about what happens in American politics and with deep politics.
We're going to jump into that, so please hang out.
You're going to hear some stuff that you're not going to hear anywhere else on this podcast.
But before we even begin, Nick, do you want to do everybody a solid, maybe trying to give a summary for those of us who haven't been paying attention?
Where are we in this scandal before we can start even unpacking this thing?
All right.
Well, for sure.
Thank you for throwing it to me because this is my favorite part of politics, probably.
I think you have to go backwards to kind of follow it the easiest way or the most rational way to understand what's going on here.
Because, uh, what we know is that there is an investigation from the Department of Justice that was initiated under Bill Barr, uh, of Matt Gaetz, the Congressman from Florida.
Uh, and that investigation is related to the fact that he, uh, perhaps, uh, transposed- Allegedly.
allegedly, excuse me, allegedly is better than perhaps, transported underage women, girls under 18, for the purpose of having sex with them.
And if you do that in exchange for something like, you know, putting up in a hotel room or flights, whatever, that's a felony.
And you can serve a lot of years in jail for that.
Now, out of that, before this broke, we had a report that Matt Gates was thinking about retiring early and going to Newsmax and being a guy there, which Those two things don't necessarily have to be disconnected.
Those very well could be the two connected things.
They feel very connected.
Yes.
I want to give Matt Gaetz the benefit of the doubt.
I don't know if he deserves it, but we're going to give it to him.
I do not personally want to give Matt Gaetz the benefit of the doubt, but I do understand that our legal system will give him the benefit of the doubt, unlike, you know, people of color and poor people.
But moving on, moving on, go ahead.
So as this thing breaks, out of kind of nowhere, Matt Gaetz decides to basically blow a, what appears to be an FBI investigation To protect him and his family from being shaken down by some former Department of Justice employees who had worked there a long time ago.
Well, there's a lot more to unpack in that whole thing, so we have to put a pin in that.
Because Matt Gaetz, in his desperation and probably stupidity, might have pulled the cover open over something very, very large.
But we'll get to that in a second.
So Matt Gaetz comes out as the story is developing and says, oh, you've got the story all wrong.
I wasn't trafficking girls, underage girls.
The real story here is that my family was being extorted.
Right.
Which we will get more in depth into here in a minute.
So continue.
So I mean that's and here's what's interesting about this is when you become embroiled in a kind of a controversy like this to all of a sudden throw a wrench where like this is actually all a lie and it's really part of another thing where I was getting extorted by somebody or my father was directly and then by implication me.
So that the extortion plot let's just throw that out there make that clear.
A couple guys who were at some point involved in the Department of Justice or Air Force.
It's interesting.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No, we have to be very clear about who these people were.
One is a former federal prosecutor by the name of David McGee.
Okay.
The other is Bob Kent.
And here's something that needs to be made clear.
And again, one of the things we do on this podcast is we take the stories and we give the information behind them that other people don't necessarily get into.
Bob Kent is a Naval Intelligence Officer.
Here's an important thing that people need to understand.
Anytime that you ever hear the title, Naval Intelligence Officer, What's that mean?
He's a sailor, that's all.
He's on a ship, he's got the wind in his hair.
Oh yeah, he's just on a ship, right?
It has nothing to do with the Central Intelligence Agency.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes, so these... We will get to more in a moment, but continue.
So somehow these two guys have found out about this investigation, which again... Somehow?
This is the fact.
The fact of the matter is that Matt Gaetz is the target of a federal investigation about sex trafficking.
These are two stories.
Interconnected stories.
He is under investigation for trafficking an underage girl.
He is also the target of an extortion plot.
Just because his family had an extortion plot against them does not mean that he is not under investigation, which is this weird defense that he has tried to spin.
Oh, we got to talk about him on Tucker because that gets... We got to talk about that.
We got to talk about the implications of it all.
It is, I have to tell you, I know that this story is crazy sounding and inexplicable like on its surface.
It's so much crazier underneath the surface than people are even touching on so far.
Well, let's discuss Bob Levinson because this is where he comes in.
Bob Levinson.
Okay.
Yes.
Okay.
No, no, no.
So, okay.
So, Robert Levinson was an FBI agent.
Who was working for the CIA in an unofficial, like, off-the-books role.
He went to Iran in order to gather intelligence as an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency.
He went there.
He got captured.
This was in 2007.
Now, he has been presumed dead for a little while.
But this Kent guy and this McGee guy, they came out and when they extorted, and I'm just going to read really, really quickly here from this report.
Okay, so Gates's dad, who by the way, for anyone who isn't aware of this, Gates's dad is like one of the most prominent influential state politicians ever in Florida.
Right?
They also have an incredible amount of money.
For those who don't know, just a little bit of trivia, Matt Gaetz was raised up in the house from the Truman Show.
Okay?
Like, they have money.
Right?
So this investigation into Gaetz begins.
Into him trafficking an underage girl.
Gaetz and his family receive a message.
And the message is this.
This has been coming out over the past couple of days.
And these messages have been seen at this point, okay?
Kent, a former Air Force Intelligence Analyst.
By the way, isn't it weird, Nick, how depending upon the coverage, he's either in the Air Force or a Naval Intelligence Officer?
That's really weird!
It's almost like it's just moving around, almost like a Central Intelligence Agency spook.
But they hear, and this is what they hear about this Levinson situation.
They get a message, the Gates family does, that for a price they can quote-unquote get rid of future legal and political problems.
These are quotes from the text.
I would like to talk with you immediately about the current federal investigation, which by the way was ongoing.
It's not like this is caused it.
It's not like that created it.
No one knew about this.
Nobody knew about this!
Oh, actually it's not true.
We know that some of the senior people in the Republican Party were briefed at some point during this.
Oh!
Weird!
Really weird!
Huh.
So, weird that that wasn't kept under cover.
I would like to talk with you immediately about the current federal investigation and the indictment that is about to be filed against your son.
I have a plan that can make his future legal and political problems go away.
Last summer, we located Robert Levinson in Iran and took two proof of life videos.
For those who don't know this, sometimes somebody will get taken hostage, right?
And before you pay a ransom, you try and get proof that this person is alive so you're not just throwing money at a problem that doesn't exist.
Robert Levinson, who was a CIA operative, was taken hostage in Iran, presumed dead after being taken hostage and being gone for 14 years.
These people have claimed that they found him alive, right?
Okay, so, The next day, Don Gates allegedly met with Kent, this intelligence officer, and handed over a three-page document titled Project Homecoming that detailed the alleged federal probe against Matt Gates and how he could get out of it as long as he coughed up $25 million.
They claimed that there are pictures of Gates involved in group sex with underage women, which is insane.
But let's point something out.
Gates, Matt Gates, in exposing this extortion plot, did one of two things.
Okay?
Is everyone ready for this?
Because this is insane.
This is like the big, big story that nobody's actually talking about.
Nick, by the way, what does the CIA do when they want to carry something out, but they don't want to show where they got the money for it?
Oh, they raise it from some other way.
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Some other way?
Yeah, because the Central Intelligence Agency has blackmailed people.
It's held people ransom.
It's imported and exported drugs.
And it has, much like Russian intelligence agencies, gathered compromat on people, right?
So one of two things has just happened.
Gates, in trying to throw a story out there to distract from his trafficking of underage girls, he either exposed a CIA slush fund operation to go after and rescue one of their lost people, or
He exposed an off-the-books CIA operator shadow operation, which would mean a bunch of CIA agents who decided to do this thing on their own time.
They decided to either extort a family for the money or to create some sort of attempt to rescue a guy they thought were alive.
Those are actually the only two options of what Gates has brought out here.
And the implications that the CIA or CIA operatives are involved in any of this shit just opens up a whole new thing about how we've even arrived at this point in the first place.
Well, there is another detail buried in that, which is that they say, and I'm not sure that it was verified, that they had a couple of proof-of-life videos from now of Bob Levinson.
So that now is obviously going to be the requirement to show the elder gates to get the 25 million.
But I think there's another I mean, listen, it could very well be the guy isn't alive.
And they just trying to shake him down for $25 million.
Because remember, the the reward for that wasn't necessarily that they're going to suddenly make the investigation disappear.
To me it sounds like they were going to be able to somehow lobby for a pardon for Matt Gaetz from a Democratic president?
Like, that's the other thing.
It's really hard to understand why this can't possibly be what really was going on.
And that's the whole point is It appears that there was, again, two different things.
And by the way, right before we came on the air, and I've seen some people... By the way, we're doing a live show.
I'm really glad that you're all here.
We're very, very glad to be with you.
So I've seen some people talking about this.
These details that have come in right before we went on the air.
are even more damning of Gates.
He is under investigation for using cash, possible campaign funds, and drugs in order to lure underage girls into illicit, illegal situations.
On top of that, Colleagues of his in Congress have even gone on the record with CNN.
And by the way, I don't know about you, but there's not a lot of Republican Congress people who are running to CNN to leak this stuff unless they want to get rid of this asshole, right?
The whole point here is that Gates allegedly has been caught dead to rights in this thing.
Like, he has been involved in some really illicit bullshit stuff.
That is one story.
The other part of the story is that somebody somewhere, whether or not it's CIA, the Justice, or people off the books, are trying to take advantage of Gates being caught dead to rights.
Which also goes ahead and brings up a question of how much of this human trafficking bullshit is part of these operations?
