Well, hello, everybody.
And we have us with today one of the greatest inventors of all time, David Schmidt.
He's the CEO of Lightwave, everybody.
And I got behind his company.
It's been, I think, over a year and a half since I last interviewed you.
And you guys, you're going to hear about a product that of all the products I've ever heard of that helped me personally, this was the top one.
And everything you told me a year and a half ago, David, absolutely true.
And I'll tell everybody before I introduce you, I mean, before I say this, one of these is, but it is you guys that say patch.
I got it right here on my neck here.
And this is what you're going to be learning about and all these different, this technology and stuff.
And I've got questions here for you because I didn't, I wanted to ask you so much, David.
So if I'm, if I, usually I do my speeches and stuff without a teleprompter, but I wanted to have the info here.
You guys, I've, and by the way, you guys, people in my company, my friends, family, everyone that's gotten involved with this, all it's been is one rave review after another.
There's been no negative, zero.
It's either been, I prove this much or the sky's the limit.
And I wear it for all different things.
I have different ones that I use.
And you guys will hear about that the different one of these patches.
But why don't, David, I know you have over 150 patents.
I heard that last time.
Can you tell us somewhat of how you started LifeWave?
I know I heard, if I remember right, it was something to do with the Navy.
Yeah.
So back in the 90s, I had a company and we were developing products for the U.S. Navy through government contractors like General Dynamics Electric Boat and Newport New Shipbuilding.
And I was invited to be part of a design team for one of the Navy's next generation mini subs.
And the crew of the mini sub were Navy SEALs, you know, incredible people.
And the idea was they had to go on these long missions, 30 hours or more.
So how could we keep them awake without using drugs or amphetamines or caffeine?
So the idea was I was going to work on this project and I came up with the idea that we communicate wirelessly with cell phones.
So what if there was a way to wirelessly communicate with the human body and turn on energy production?
So biochemically, this is a process we call beta oxidation, but it's very simply.
It's a process of converting fat over into energy.
So I was successful with that.
And this takes the form of a patch that's powered by your body heat, gently stimulates the skin with light, and it will turn on energy production in the cell.
But of course, the X39, you know, that was 10 years in development.
And this one is going to help to elevate a peptide in the body called copper peptide.
And that improves the health of the stem cells in the body, among other things.

So you're using, well, what's the using a peptide?
Like, what's a peptide?
Is that, I mean, is this your own?
I think you told me back then something about your own light, you're using your body's own light, you know, back in itself.
So you're, with the peptide, your body's producing its own peptides then?
Is that correct?
So peptides are signaling molecules and they initiate biochemical changes in the body.
And these are naturally occurring.
Of course, there are synthetic peptides that drug companies make, but the type that we're talking about naturally occurs in the human body.
So a peptide would be a sequence of amino acids.
And there are small peptides like copper peptide.
It's a three-amino acid peptide.
And then there's peptides that are, of course, a lot larger.
And then you get into proteins, which are sequences of amino acids.
But very simply, everyone is familiar with the idea that you go out in the sun and sunlight causes an increase in melanin and we get a tan.
So we're using the same scientific principle, but instead of elevating melanin or elevating vitamin D, we're going to elevate production of copper peptide.
And this has enormous health benefits.
Right on.
When you said you have, I don't know, 150, over 150 patents.
Why so many patents?
I mean, you just kept discovering more and more great things to do?
Well, you know, I do like to invent.
And so I have patents on energy producing systems, different types of polymers, metal alloys, phototherapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, nutritional supplements, skincare systems, among many other things.
Right, right.
Well, so when you talk, I guess, the stem cells, so why, you know, why is it important for them to stay active?
I mean, these patches, they do work, and each one does a different thing.
I know I have one, I think I use the ones with the cartigen or whatever, the such with a C.
Oh, carnosine.
Carnicine, I can't.
And that one helps my thinking and clarity.
Is that what it's supposed to do?
Absolutely.
So what LifeWave is really all about is that we're looking for ways to keep people younger longer.
And also preferably, we have new research that we released last month on how we think we can stop the aging process through a new discovery that we've made with light.
But there are a number of molecules in the body that decline with age.
One of these is called carnosine, which is an antioxidant, and it's naturally found in the body.
So carnosine is stored in the brain, in the heart, and in the skeletal muscle.
So as we age, we'll get a decrease in cognition.
Of course, our cardiovascular system becomes compromised and people experience sarcopenia, a loss of muscle mass.

I know you know all about that, the benefits of rest.

Like, you know, the X39 is your, the one I wear here is all kind of more than you have the X-40 and you have all these different things.
It's kind of like each one's developed to do a different thing.
So when you, when you see the sleep one, can you explain that one?
What that, why is this one so amazing?
Yeah, so the simple one, so that's interesting, actually.
This product was initially designed to reduce stress.
So there's been a discovery made now about how people age, and it's referred to as inflammation.
But basically, as people age, we begin to accumulate stress and it goes into a chronic condition.
And if it gets bad enough, it can lead into disease like arthritis or other immune disorders.
So the idea behind this is that if we want to extend life and improve the quality of life, we have to get control over the way our bodies handle inflammation.
And we can do this through stress reduction.
So this product is designed to elevate a peptide that's produced in the liver, which declines with age.
And that peptide regulates stress throughout the autonomic nervous system.
So the benefit of this is that if someone uses your pillow, they have a quiet environment, they sleep in the dark, this will calm their nervous system down, which will give them, which will promote a good night's sleep.
So it's very different than other products that are on the market for improving sleep.
Right.
And me knowing about sleep, everybody, the, you know, I did my trade shows back in the day, you know, keeping your neck straight at night with my pillow.
And I'm going, your cervical or your nervous system has to calm itself, then your blood slows, and then you go into these sleep cycles, your REM and delta sleep.
And if you're breaking that in any way, and I'm going, I was amazed at this one.
This one I use non-stop for sleeping at night, wherever I go.
And so does everyone that's tried it.
That, you know, this, it really makes a difference.
And I wouldn't say that if it didn't.
And this one, I can actually feel the difference at night.
I'm always feel the relaxing.
And but you got like the, you know, I wear the X39.
I'm kind of going, okay, for me, you know, is it more of a, what would you say for these?
More of a preventative or it's a, or to, you know, you're just trusting the benefits of it, so to speak.
I know there's a lot of more people.
I have people in my company, they put them on like the pain one is gone.
I mean, I haven't had pain.
So other than, other than when maybe mental pain of getting attacked by the media all the time.
Right.
But the, you know, those pain ones, they're amazing.
I've watched that work in real time.
It's almost in disbelief.
And like, what?
And I guess we don't need to know why one thing does one and one does another, but I just want people to, I want people to know.
I went over the two that I've had the experience with, and it's 100% everything you told me is spot on.
And I have witnessed people, family members and friends and family, you know, like with the ping one or whether it's the X49 that does other things and all these different ones.
I just had one.
Here's a now, this is a question just for me because I use this one at night.
You have another one called Silent Nights.
What's the difference of that and this?
This is my own personal question because I like this better than Silent Night.
I don't know why.
Right.
I actually use so the Eon patch, which you're using, is actually what I use at night most of the time, because that one will reduce stress and it has very significant anti-aging benefits.
The Silent Nights product helps the body produce melatonin naturally.
So it's normally what we would associate with a sleep product.
And I developed the Silent Nights product first.
When I developed the Eon product, originally people were using it during the day, but then it came out with more products.
It was like, okay, well, which products are now we going to use during the day versus the night?
So we decided to start doing tests with people wearing the Eon patch at night and found that it did, in fact, have enormous benefits for improving sleep.
So people can choose between Eon, Silent Nights, and Ala Vida in terms of which one they want to use at night.
And they all have subtly different benefits.
Yeah, and I could sit and talk about the benefits and the stuff all day long, which, like I say, I've never had number one talking to you over a year and a half ago now, going, wow, if this does what it says it does, and came up with all the credibility back in, this is going to be one of the most amazing products either.
And I've gotten literally, I don't know, probably hundreds, thousands into it.
Anyone I talk to, you know, I'm saying, hey, there's very few products, but when I do believe in a product, I'm all in.
And this is one of the few products where I didn't develop in-house at my pillow, where I'm outside of the box going, you know, this is the most amazing.
There's no downfall of it.
Even I want to say, mention to everybody, too.
You know, you went into, you made it a network model or a network marketing model rather than, you know, bringing some stores and stuff.
I kind of already know the answer, but I'm going to ask you why that model rather than see if it matches what I'm thinking in my head.
Yeah, absolutely.
And, you know, since we last spoke, LifeWave has become the number one fastest growing company in the world in the direct selling industry.
And we made it to the 32nd largest company in the world.
And next year, we're definitely getting into the top 20, maybe even the top 10.
So we've done phenomenally well.
Yeah, but the answer to this is really simple.
I actually had no experience in network marketing or direct sales.
I was a researcher and developing products.
But what I found is that when I would introduce the product to people and they could apply it right there and get instant pain relief, pain relief within two or three minutes, or they noticed the first day they were getting improvements in energy or improvements in the quality of their sleep.
I thought, if this product is sitting on a shelf, people won't understand what the benefits are.
We have to have some kind of face-to-face marketing method.
And that's how we got into it.
Yeah.
And I'm going to explain that to everybody.
It's when you have network marketing, there was a commercial back in the day uh, it was a hair commercial um, it's a shampoo commercial, I believe, and it went like this, something like this i'll probably butcher it, whatever but it said, um wow, this is amazing, and they'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends and so on and so on, and that's it.
You want to tell this product here I have told more about than any other non-my pillow product ever.
I mean they uh, I mean it's uh, it's amazing.
And then they're telling other people, you've got to try, you got to try this because it works.
And I think that um, having that kind of marketing, you're exactly right and you're by, it's so easy to sell, by personal experience and a face-to-face experience and getting your friends, family and neighbors, everybody needs to be feeling good and getting uh, getting with these uh, the benefits of of these patches, these lightweight patches.
Um, the technology everybody, the technology behind this is just incredible.
But the studies, the studies I mean I don't even have to look at your studies now.
I got my own studies, I got my own people.
I mean I could literally walk out of my office store back in Minnesota.
And when this.
When we first got it, you had people with neck pain, whatever.
You know all these different problems.
Well, you need these patches, you need an x49, you need this, you need that, and then all the successes come in, of course.
Then it's spread like down to my factory and i'm going hey, i'm going down there.
You guys need to hear about like oh, we already heard about it.
My cousin up there had you know, my uh and and this is exactly why you do, having this uh, this network marketing, everybody and there is uh, so there's opportunities there.
Anybody watching there's up.
You're going to believe in the product so much that would be uh.
You're going to want to spread it and you're going to get a benefit there of uh, the network marketing side of it too uh, a huge benefit, and that's, by the way, that's uh.
I've been in a lot of network marketing in my life and I can tell everybody that, of all of them, I could put them all together over here uh, and all combine them over here, and this thing is set up the best network marketing system i've ever been in.
There's been no holes there.
Customer service amazing um um, residual checks, whatever it might be it's, it's there and there's never.
I've never heard of a glitch David, and that's a testament to you who has ever run in that part of your company.
I know you can't be everywhere.
I mean i'm sure you micromanage like I did originally.
Where you set, you set up the best it could be and that's what I. I'll tell you what i've used you for an example.
I said i've never seen someone that started the company for and touched every part of it.
It's the best run company i've ever seen.
Um and um that it's outside, outside of what it's so much like.
I can't tell people enough, like my pillow where uh, our customer service, every single customer we treat like our only customer and that's what your team does.
I mean, it's just, it's amazing.
I'm telling people.
So you know any questions anyone has any if you're questioning, well, is this really?
You know um, not just the product no, i'm talking about The, even the business opportunity.
If somebody wanted that business opportunity, you guys, it's the easiest thing to spread because it works.
It's like if I would have ever back in the day with my pillow, I never did network marketing, obviously, but I'll show you what I was at the ground floor with trade shows and home shows, and people just flocked.
Hey, can I sell that after they tried it?
Or I have hosts out there across the country.
Every host and influencer known to man that sells my pillow products, they have to try them, they have to believe in them.
We get them, if there's a problem, we get them caused, but whatever it is, and then they're selling from the heart, and that's what this product is.
So, I'll tell you what, if you're an influencer out there or anybody, it doesn't matter who you are, uh, there's an opportunity there not only for your own health, you're going to want to spread the word just to help.
You're starting with your family members, your circle of friends, and then you're going, wow, we could help save the country, or I mean, save the world with the health benefits of this.
And you're making money and you're making it's a win-win-win, I call it a win-win-win.
And because you know, network marketing has got a lot of has got a, you know, all the people at the top do this, and they, you know, I don't try this, but no, this is different, and it really is different.
I just want to compliment you on how you set that up.
We don't have to go into it.
I'm just telling everybody, trust me, I've been in a lot of them.
This is the best one in history ever.
I mean, that's a big compliment color for me because I could say, I've been to this, I've been to this, I've been this.
They all have their downfall.
The worst ones, obviously, are the ones where you get the product and you just kind of, oh, so, so, but you go, I'm going after the bus.
The business part falls if the product isn't the best ever, or at least it's got to be very good.
And it's absolutely, and that's what you have here, David.
Is you have so that you know, a product that I can't, I couldn't do without right now.
If you had uh, um, you know, if it's a hey, I'm gonna quit making these, I'd be buying baskets full and filling my closet full of them, which by the way, this isn't on my question list, but uh, it's a question that's come up to me.
And I have, and some of these I'm asking just for me, but I'm sure other people question.
Um, if I by speaking of that, like I'll buy myself like like the sleep one, I have it in four different locations in case I forget it.
So, I have it there.
My question, and one of them, I'm hardly able to one of my return and I found it, what it was like four months old.
Do they have a shelf life?
And how long is that?
You know, I've been asked that I'm for yeah, about two years.
So, wow, yeah, so we've been in business, so people know we've been in business 20 years.
We have a very stable manufacturing infrastructure.
We manufacture the products ourselves, and we can support a company doing about 2 billion US dollars per year.
So, we have robotics in our factory, AI, computerized visual detection systems for quality control.
It's extremely sophisticated, but the expiry is about two years from the data manufacturer.
Yeah, and we have equipment called an FTIR, which validates that the products are functioning.
How do you, yeah, how did you originally?
Because this is, I compared to my pillow.
So, my pillow back in the day, hey, you got a 10-year warranty.
Well, on the patent and Phil, how did I know that?
And, you know, it was a lot of theory and stuff I had to do based on all the tests I could do at that time with my patent and Phil.
So, you had to, but obviously, now you've been in business long enough, but I mean, I just can't imagine the A-B test.
And, well, what did you do?
Lay all the patches out and go, okay, now this one's one, you know, 18 months old.
Let's try this one.
Or, you know, I mean, not exactly.
I mean, you do.
So the patches are made of completely organic materials.
So we do aging studies.
So you put the patches in an oven and you set it to a temperature and that simulates the aging on the material.
And then you into a piece of laboratory equipment called a Fourier Transform Infrared and it will measure the light coming off the patch.
So we can quantify if the patch is reflecting light or not.
Well, there you have it.
Everybody, because everyone's going well.
And I just thought of something when I went to uh, when I went to one of the shopping channels I won't name it, get it, get it in the advertising because they they were ones that canceled me, but um, it rhymes with QVC, but anyway um, but back in the day they didn't believe because I hadn't been around 10 years for the uh well, I guess I had been, but they still didn't believe me.
And I was gonna say this 10-year warranty and they took a, a um, I guess it was a plunger thing that they went because that was that was how you did it to to see uh, to test this, and it took like a week or whatever, but that accelerated like for 10 years.
So that I understand what you're saying there.
But that's interesting.
And they and once again I want to, you know, tell everyone, you know these things, that you know, you look at them, you go well, how can this little patch do this much?
You know, and and uh, and it's your own light, your own light of your body reflecting black into your body.
That's the technology.
And and everybody, i'm telling you when I first heard it, i'm going.
When I first talked, I go.
Well, you have all the studies, you have all this and i'm going and i'm praying it's working.
I'm going man, if this is what it is, this is the most.

And I thank you personally and my family, my friends, everyone from my company that use them.
I don't know if there's anybody at my company.

Now, I'll admit when I first started, I didn't want any part of network marketing.
I didn't want to have to tell people about this.
I didn't want to have to share.
I didn't want to be part of it.
But really, what I found myself doing was sharing this.
Anyways, I started telling friends.
I started telling family members.
I started telling people in line at the grocery store.
I was wearing the patches all the time.
People were asking me about it.
So what happened is they were interested and they said, where do I get these?
So what's great about being a brand partner is you can choose to go as fast as you want and get as many people signed up right away, or you can do it casually.
So you will get your own personalized link.

And then what you're going to get just by them signing up is what's called a product introductory bonus.
So these different dollar amounts, depending on what kit, that's just for them signing up.
The next way you can earn commission is by something called a cycle bonus.
So that's as people sign up and they're ordering product.

A third way you can earn commissions is through what's called a generation matching bonus.
Now, this is where when you enroll people, they will be what's called your first level.
You'll earn 25% of whatever they're earning on their cycles.
Now, this doesn't mean that it's coming out of their pocket.
It doesn't mean that it's coming out of anybody else's pocket other than LifeWave.
LifeWave has built their marketing structure on the commissions.
And this is really how they market their product.
They don't have a huge marketing budget to do commercials and do these other things.

So you have a first generation, second and third matching bonus.
This is unlimited.

Now, I want to just remind you guys again, the benefits of the X39.

Wearing multiple X39s isn't going to give you a huge increase.
You got to just wear one at a time.
That's all you need.

Like I said, this little tiny sticker, just amazing.
So here it is.
I used to cringe when I saw this picture, but you know what?
People need to hear about this and see what it can do.
I'm not ashamed to show it any longer.
I want people to understand just the amazing benefits.
I was not looking for this product.

And as he mentioned, I am his niece and I also work for him.
And part of my role is to vet certain products or ideas.

I've been working out more.
I'm down 35 pounds, which has been, you know, a huge blessing as well.
And then lastly, I noticed a huge improvement in sleep.
Now, certainly you all know I'm sleeping on the most comfortable pillow ever, my pillow.
I love that thing.
I travel with it everywhere.
But until I could actually fall asleep, I was having issues.
I was finding myself, you know, tossing and turning, just couldn't fall asleep.

I was all of a sudden falling asleep at like 10 o'clock and waking up the next day when I had to get my kids to school at like 6:30 a.m.
