[00:03:23] The DOJ is releasing a new report outlining what it describes as the Biden administration's weaponization of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances, or FACE Act, against pro life activists. [00:03:36] The FACE Act, passed in 1994, designed to protect access to abortion clinics, pregnancy resource centers, and houses of worship, applying to both pro choice and pro life facilities. [00:03:48] May sound familiar since recently the DOJ charged Don Lamont and other protesters under the FACE Act. [00:03:55] After they stormed a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota. [00:03:59] Before its provision against disrupting a church service was in the news, it was chiefly known for its abortion clinic protections, a favorite of Democratic administrations wanting to target pro life protesters, none more so than Joe Biden's. [00:04:15] The new DOJ report concluding During the four years under President Biden, DOJ charged more than 45 pro life defendants in over 20 cases. [00:04:24] With violating the FACE Act in connection with pro life demonstrations, a significant increase in FACE Act prosecutions compared to prior administrations. [00:04:34] The Justice Department's Weaponization Working Group, established by former Attorney General Pam Bondi, compiled the report to examine whether law enforcement actions under the Biden administration were influenced by political bias. [00:04:47] The group reviewing more than 700,000 internal records, releasing a nearly 900 page document detailing several key findings, including That officials worked with pro abortion groups to monitor pro life activists' First Amendment activity. [00:05:02] Prosecutors engaged in inappropriate conduct, and the department pursued harsher charges and sentences against pro life defendants compared to pro abortion ones. [00:05:12] According to the report, prosecutors seeking an average sentence of 26.8 months for defendants arrested for pro life conduct compared to 12.3 months for defendants arrested for pro choice behavior. [00:05:26] The Biden DOJ relying on organizations including the National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood, and Feminist Majority Foundation to, quote, identify potential pro-life targets for investigation and build cases against them. [00:05:40] According to the report, those groups not only flagged potential FACE Act violations, but also tracked the movements and activities of pro-life activists, sharing updates with the DOJ and FBI with many of those individuals later facing charges. [00:05:55] Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch elaborating on the findings yesterday on Fox News. [00:06:01] We saw internal emails, internal correspondence, which is now part of the report, where Department of Justice prosecutors are working hand in hand with NGOs and nonprofits to target and go after pro life individuals who were not breaking the law. [00:06:18] Okay? [00:06:18] And I'll tell you what, there's no emails in my inbox from NGOs telling me what to do. [00:06:24] And it's disappointing. [00:06:25] And look, I hope the American people can see the work that we did over the past year. [00:06:31] Trying to understand what happened. [00:06:33] But once they see it, I think folks will be frustrated. [00:06:37] President Trump, shortly after taking office in January 2025, issued pardons to a number of pro life activists prosecuted under the Biden DOJ. [00:06:47] Can you blame him? [00:06:50] Newly declassified documents released by the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, this week exposing what she calls a, quote, coordinated effort inside the intel community to, quote, manufacture a conspiracy that was used as the basis to impeach President Trump in 2019. [00:07:08] As a quick refresher, in August 2019, a whistleblower later identified by Real Clear Investigations as Eric Charamella filing a complaint centered on a July phone call between Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. [00:07:24] Alleging Mr. Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate political rival Joe Biden while withholding roughly four hundred million dollars in U.S. military aid. [00:07:34] Those allegations becoming the basis for Mr. Trump's impeachment by the House on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, before he was ultimately acquitted by the U.S. Senate. [00:07:44] In the months and years since, key details about the whistleblower and his account coming out, including that he was not a firsthand witness to the call, he spoke with Democratic staff on the House Intelligence Committee before filing his complaint, he was a registered Democrat, and he previously worked with Vice President Biden on Ukraine policy. [00:08:05] These new documents released by DNI Gabbard focusing squarely on the actions of the then Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, alleging that despite being aware of the whistleblower's issues, the IG, quote, proceeded to take actions to weaponize the whistleblower process, including keeping key information about the whistleblower's credibility classified and out of the hands of Congress and the public. [00:08:31] We spoke with founder and CEO of Just the News, John Solomon, who first reported on these newly declassified documents. [00:08:38] Who says the first Trump impeachment was a ruse from the start? [00:08:42] It's actually in the moment, right after Donald Trump has been cleared of Russia collusion, that a new scandal starts. [00:08:48] I write the stories in The Hill in March of 2019 saying that Joe Biden fired the Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating Hunter Biden's company in Ukraine called Burisma. [00:08:58] A big scandal starts. [00:09:00] ABC and New York Times are following the story. [00:09:03] And all of a sudden, a whistleblower comes out of the blue from the intelligence community and says Donald Trump was trying to pressure the new Ukrainian president, Voldemir. Zelensky to investigate this Hunter Biden, Joe Biden stuff. [00:09:16] And there's no truth to the Hunter Biden, Joe Biden stuff. [00:09:19] And it was an inappropriate use of the president's power in a foreign conversation. [00:09:25] And that touches off impeachment, which results in the president being impeached before he's acquitted in the Senate. [00:09:31] Solomon telling us the IG's successful effort to hide what he knew about the lack of credibility from the whistleblower amounts to a serious violation of the judicial process. [00:09:42] They decided to keep that information classified. [00:09:45] So, that it couldn't be given to Congress, couldn't be given to the president's defense lawyers, couldn't be given to the senators who sat in judgment of the president, or the House members who had to decide whether to impeach a president. [00:09:56] In any other judicial proceeding, this would be considered what they call a Brady violation, a failure of the government to turn over exculpatory evidence so that a defendant can make their best case for innocence. [00:10:10] It is so severe an omission that Tulsi Gabbard yesterday, when she released these documents at the request of Justin News, Tulsi Gabbard said, I believe the inspector general, the former inspector general of the intelligence community, weaponized the whistleblower system and hijacked the responsibility of the intelligence community to be forthcoming. [00:10:29] Those are very strong words from the DNI. [00:10:32] Solomon says it's unclear exactly why the IG withheld key information about the whistleblower's credibility, but points to one possible explanation. [00:10:41] We don't know the reason why it was kept secret. [00:10:44] We do know one thing from documents that we got from Tulsi Gabbard. [00:10:48] The whistleblower was pressuring. [00:10:50] The internal inspector general of the intelligence community not to turn over the evidence of bias. [00:10:56] He was worried that if people found out about his biases, his connection to Joe Biden and Ukraine policy, his dislike of Republicans, that he might be undercut. [00:11:07] And so he was pressuring the inspector general. [00:11:09] We don't know whether that was a factor, but what we do know is the evidence remained classified and therefore couldn't be introduced at the trial for the public or the senators or the impeachment managers to have that benefit, let alone the president's own lawyers. [00:11:24] The big question now is whether there will be any accountability for all of this. [00:11:28] We don't know whether what Michael Atkinson did rose to the level of a crime or not. [00:11:33] So I am reporting today that the new Inspector General of the Intelligence Community is reviewing all of the whistleblower urgent concern cases of the last few years to see if they were properly handled in light of what they learned here. [00:11:46] That is going to get into two very important cases this one that we just talked about, Ukraine, and another one where efforts to notify the President and the Congress. [00:11:56] About potential Chinese infiltration of voter registration databases in 2020 was suppressed. [00:12:03] And the fact that those are getting a fresh look with a new sheriff in town is certainly, I think, something that the public might be interested in. === Disappearing Nuclear Scientists (04:35) === [00:12:11] Whether that results later in a criminal referral, whether someone in Congress does it, we don't know yet. [00:12:18] Coming up, a growing number of missing and dead scientists with access to America's most sensitive secrets is now up to 10. [00:12:27] And the number three official at FEMA says he can teleport. [00:12:31] Can he? [00:12:39] If you are looking to make smarter choices for your health this year, consider Riverbend Ranch. [00:13:52] The Daily Mail identifying what it says is a 10th person now added to a growing list of scientists and officials who have died or disappeared in recent years, all with ties to sensitive U.S. government programs involving nuclear or advanced defense research. [00:14:08] 48 year old Steven Garcia vanishing on August 28, 2025, reportedly last seen leaving his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico on foot. [00:14:18] carrying only a handgun, just like General McCasland. [00:14:22] We'll get to him in one sec. [00:14:24] According to the report, the circumstances of Garcia's disappearance closely mirror at least three others of the ten, all of whom had connections to nuclear or rocket technology and lived in New Mexico. [00:14:37] Prior to vanishing, Garcia worked as a government contractor at the Kansas City National Security Campus, or KCNSC, a key facility tied to America's nuclear infrastructure. [00:14:49] The Daily Mail reporting, quote, KCNSC manufactures more than 80% of all the non-nuclear components that go into building the military's nuclear weapons. [00:15:00] A source describing Garcia's role as, quote, a very high-level overseeing position for all the assets, tens, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment and assets, some of which are not classified, others would be. [00:15:14] The other three eerily similar cases involving individuals who also left their homes on foot and were never seen again. [00:15:21] Among them, retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland, who disappeared from his Albuquerque home earlier this year, reportedly also leaving with only a handgun. [00:15:33] Throughout his career, McCasland oversees advanced Air Force research programs, including leading its $2.2 billion science and technology lab, where he's believed to have been tied to alleged UFO research. [00:15:46] The two others, Anthony Chavez and Melissa Casillas, working at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, also disappearing last year, last seen leaving their homes on foot. [00:15:57] Meanwhile, Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb telling Fox 32 Chicago that while the disappearances may not be related, there is serious risk of working on sensitive projects like these. [00:16:09] These are programs to develop technologies that are useful for the Air Force. [00:16:15] They're classified. [00:16:17] And others relate to nuclear fusion, where study of nuclear fusion obviously has important implications for energy sources, but also potentially for applications in space, and some of which might be related to national security. [00:16:35] Adversarial nations might be interested in some of these secrets, and they could have operations either trying to get information about what these programs are. === Teleporting FEMA Official Claims (03:48) === [00:16:46] Entail and or may perhaps even follow individuals. [00:16:50] And so, definitely, it comes with the territory. [00:16:54] If you sign up for a classified program, that you have to worry about being monitored, about the data being available to espionage in that regard. [00:17:05] And that is a risk that everyone involved knows about. [00:17:11] Okay, so they assumed the risk that they'd all be abducted and likely killed? [00:17:16] Really? [00:17:19] Last month, CNN reported that the number three official at FEMA has a history of making bizarre claims, including that he can teleport. [00:17:27] Greg Phillips describing a series of incidents over the years, saying he once collapsed inside a Lowe's, only to wake up hours later in a McDonald's parking lot across the street with 15,000 steps logged on his phone and no memory of how he got there. [00:17:43] In another account, he says a deceased girlfriend appeared in his car, which she then lifted off of the road. [00:17:51] To avoid a crash. [00:17:52] In a January 2025 appearance on the Onward podcast, Phillips recounting what he says was his first experience teleporting, landing him at a Waffle House 50 miles away. [00:18:05] It was scary in a way. [00:18:06] I mean, you know, you don't really know, okay, is this evil? [00:18:09] Is this good? [00:18:10] What is this? [00:18:11] Is, you know, what do I do with this? [00:18:14] How do I deal with it? [00:18:15] I was on the phone, oh my God, what's happening? [00:18:18] And I was landed and landed about 40 miles away in a ditch outside of a Baptist church. [00:18:25] In a little tiny town just where you cross over the border. [00:18:28] And it was an incredibly frightening moment to experience yourself in your car flying through the air. [00:18:39] I was with my boys one time and I was telling them I was going to go to Waffle House and get Waffle House. [00:18:46] This was in Georgia. [00:18:47] And I ended up at a Waffle House like 50 miles away from where I was. [00:18:52] They said, Where are you? [00:18:53] I said, A Waffle House. [00:18:54] They said, Waffle House where? [00:18:57] And I said, Waffle House in Rome, Georgia. [00:19:00] I said, that's not possible. [00:19:01] You just left here like a moment ago. [00:19:03] Phillips ties many of these experiences to his battle with metastatic bone cancer, saying he rejected chemotherapy in favor of a self directed regimen using ivermectin and finbendazole and describing the episodes in spiritual terms. [00:19:19] The reporting drawing concern from some inside the White House, according to CNN, who then contacted DHS, which oversees FEMA, pushing them to either get rid of Phillips or keep him out of sight. [00:19:31] CNN asking President Trump about Phillips this week. [00:19:34] Mr. Trump replying, I don't know anything about teleporting. [00:19:37] It just sounds a little strange, but I know nothing about teleporting or him, but I'll find out about it right now. [00:19:44] Since then, Phillips polled from participating in a hearing on Capitol Hill and excluded from a recent trip with DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen. [00:19:53] Joke's on them. [00:19:54] He can get there on his own. [00:19:56] Hello. [00:19:57] Here's the twist, though. [00:19:58] Despite the supernatural claims, multiple senior officials inside FEMA telling CNN That Phillips has earned their respect, describing him as, quote, the most reasonable and trusted political appointee inside the agency, particularly as the agency undergoes major staffing changes. [00:20:15] One senior staffer telling CNN, quote, Yes, it's hard to trust the judgment of someone who says they teleported and then doubled down on it, but he seems to really care about people, which I really appreciate. [00:20:27] And I think he cares about readiness for hurricane season. [00:20:30] Disappearing scientists, teleporting FEMA officials, we report. === You Decide: The Final Update (00:46) === [00:20:35] You decide, my friends. [00:20:39] And that'll do it for your AM update. [00:20:41] I'm Megan Kelly.
