[00:02:37] The feds are arresting two more participants in the January 18th protest disrupting a Christian church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, according to Attorney General Pam Bondi. [00:02:48] A.G. Bondi posting to X yesterday morning, quote, if you riot in a place of worship, we will find you. [00:02:54] Then naming the suspects as Ian Davis Austin and Jerome D'Angelo Richardson. [00:02:59] Austin and Richardson join seven others, including YouTuber Don Lemon, charged with conspiracy against rights and violating the FACE Act. [00:03:08] Prosecutors allege the defendants launched a, quote, coordinated attack on cities' church, interfering with the congregant's federally protected right to worship. [00:03:18] The arrests come as Minnesota remains a flashpoint in the broader fight over federal immigration enforcement. [00:03:23] DHS Secretary Christy Noam announcing yesterday that effective immediately, all federal officers in Minneapolis will be outfitted with body cameras, and the camera program will be implemented nationwide as funding becomes available. [00:03:38] President Trump yesterday urging Minnesota leaders to help the administration get rid of criminals by allowing ICE to take into custody illegal immigrants getting released from local jails, which would end a key sanctuary city policy. [00:03:52] Borders are Tom Holman last week suggesting Minnesota's state attorney general Keith Ellison had declared this cooperation a possibility in Minnesota cities. [00:04:02] But on Friday night, Holman admitting local leaders who continued to say they will not help ICE have not actually agreed to help him. [00:04:10] Well here's what we have Sean meeting with the governor and AG and Mayor Fry. [00:04:14] Here's what we came out with. [00:04:16] The state prison system will honor our detainers. [00:04:19] So we will continue to take those people in the custody of a safety and security facility and not have to go on the street and look for them. [00:04:29] The AG said that sheriffs can honor our detainers. [00:04:33] And I'm meeting with sheriffs across the state to give us prior notification. [00:04:37] Excuse me. [00:04:38] He didn't say they would honor our detainers, said they can notify us before they release them. [00:04:42] And so give us time to get there and take them into custody and safety and security facility. [00:04:47] And we're working on that. [00:04:48] So if we get that cooperation, which we're working on, we got some commitments here, that means we can draw down on the number of agents there because we're in the jails. [00:04:57] Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, a Democrat, says prisons in his state do cooperate with federal immigration authorities, though critics say that's misleading. [00:05:06] While state prisons may honor ICE detainers, city and county jails in Minnesota mostly do not. [00:05:12] A key distinction. [00:05:14] Mr. Trump contrasting the resistance with states and cities that actively invite federal help in cracking down on crime. [00:05:21] But Washington and D.C. is beautiful again and it's safe. [00:05:24] New Memphis also, Memphis, Tennessee, New Orleans, Louisiana. [00:05:30] For three weeks it's cut. [00:05:31] We've cut the crime down by 64% within another month. [00:05:36] We'll have virtually no crime there. [00:05:38] We can do that all over. [00:05:40] I will say this, if I were a Democrat governor or whatever, I would call up Trump. [00:05:45] I say, come on in, make us look good because we're cutting crime down to nothing. [00:05:50] And we're taking people out, career criminals who are only going to do bad things and we're bringing them back to their countries. [00:05:57] But where we've done it, it's been amazing. [00:06:00] And we have a capacity to do it at much greater levels. [00:06:04] The latest example of such cooperation coming out of West Virginia. [00:06:07] ICE announcing the arrest of 650 illegal aliens netted in a two-week operation spanning from January 5th to the 19th. [00:06:15] 14 federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies working on the joint operation called ICE Wall. [00:06:22] Among the hundreds rounded up, Chinese national Ling Yan, who has a final order of removal and was convicted of two counts of endangering the welfare of children in Ohio. [00:06:33] ICE also arresting a convicted child sex abuser, a criminal convicted of drug possession charges, and more, according to a press release from the agency. [00:06:42] West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrissey, a Republican, releasing a statement reading, quote, I want to thank the men and women of ICE for their outstanding partnership with various state entities, including the state police, and their tireless work here in West Virginia. [00:06:56] They have removed dangerous illegal immigrants from our communities and made our state safer for families and law-abiding citizens. [00:07:05] A troubling update in the search for today's show host Savannah Guthrie's missing mom, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie. [00:07:13] The elder Guthrie reported missing around noon on Sunday when a friend from church noticed she did not show up for the service and called one of her children. [00:07:22] Authorities responding to the home finding what Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos called a quote, concerning scene. [00:07:29] Sheriff Nanos telling Inside Edition yesterday afternoon, the evidence suggests Ms. Guthrie did not leave the house of her own free will. [00:07:38] Do you believe she was kidnapped? [00:07:39] She was removed from the scene. [00:07:41] I can't say by force. [00:07:42] Were there personal items of hers that were left behind? [00:07:46] Yes, there's a lot of things there that tell us that indicate to us she was removed from that scene and it was without her consent. [00:07:55] Sheriff Nanos later telling CBS investigators believe Guthrie was abducted from the home while she was sleeping. [00:08:02] When asked by CNN later whether they have reason to believe that Nancy Guthrie was hurt, the sheriff demured, saying he cannot speak to that right now. [00:08:12] Nancy's phone, wallet, her ID, and car were all still at her home when detectives searched the property. [00:08:19] The front door was reportedly unlocked, but there were signs of forced entry and lights on in the common area. [00:08:25] Sheriff Nanos telling the Daily Mail, quote, this was, in our opinion, someone who entered her home in the middle of the night and removed her. [00:08:32] It could be more than one person. [00:08:34] We don't know that yet. [00:08:36] When asked by CNN last night if a ransom demand had been received, the sheriff said no, adding, we're not hearing anything like that. [00:08:45] However, Showbiz 411's Roger Friedman reporting last night, quote, I am told exclusively that inside NBC, the belief is that Nancy 84 is still alive, that this may be a kidnapping for ransom gone wrong. [00:09:00] At a press conference earlier in the day, Sheriff Nanos stressing that Nancy Guthrie does not suffer from dementia-related issues, but does have mobility limitations. [00:09:09] I want to stress to you, and it is really important, Ms. Guthrie, Nancy Guthrie, is of great sound mind. [00:09:18] This is not a dementia-related. [00:09:20] She is as sharp as attack. [00:09:22] The family wants everybody to know this isn't somebody who just wandered off. [00:09:26] Her physical limits are based on just age and, you know, we get old. [00:09:33] And so it's more physical, but clearly she is as sharp as attack. [00:09:38] She was last seen around 9.30 p.m. on Saturday at her home in Catalina Foothills, about 15 minutes north of Tucson, Arizona. [00:09:46] Authorities are asking residents in the area to assist in the search and to turn over any security camera footage that could potentially help lead to the NBC host's mother. [00:09:57] Sheriff Nanos warning that time is of the essence. [00:10:00] More than 48 hours have passed and without access to her required daily medication, the family says Guthrie's life is at risk. [00:10:08] Customs and Border Protection is assisting with the investigation, as is the FBI, which is reportedly assisting with analysis of cell phone tower data near the Guthrie home. [00:10:18] The sheriff, who had drones, an airplane, a helicopter, rescue dogs, and more searching for Ms. Guthrie on Sunday, says this has now shifted from a search and rescue operation to the investigation of a crime scene. [00:10:32] Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Nancy Guthrie to please call the Pima County Sheriff's Department at 520-351-6278. === Busfield Fraud Allegations (04:52) === [00:10:46] Coming up, a newly unearthed deposition from the 1990s reveals disturbing allegations made against actor and director Timothy Busfield by Julia Roberts' sister-in-law. [00:12:09] New reporting shedding light on long-standing allegations against actor and director Timothy Busfield as he now faces criminal charges involving two child actors. [00:12:19] The Daily Mail exclusively obtaining a 1994 deposition in which actress and casting director Eliza Roberts, who is married to Julia Roberts' brother, Eric, described Busfield as a quote, creep who, quote, harassed and humiliated her. [00:12:35] Roberts volunteering the sworn statement more than three decades ago after reading an article in the paper about a teenage girl then accusing Busfield of lewd and harassing behavior on set of the movie Little Big League. [00:12:48] Roberts telling attorneys, quote, I was stunned to hear it because the same thing happened to me with him. [00:12:54] That's when Roberts decided to come forward to report her experience with Busfield at a children's bookstore in Santa Monica. [00:13:01] Roberts recalling that she had met Busfield a few times before through work. [00:13:05] He approached her and began chatting. [00:13:07] The conversation, she said, began with talk about kids, then Busfield turning to, quote, marriage and passion and sex and divorce. [00:13:15] Roberts continuing, quote, he started to say how he was attracted to me. [00:13:19] And I just kind of said, thanks for the compliment and see you later. [00:13:23] And I went out to my car and went to put my keys in the ignition. [00:13:26] And when I turned around to pull out of the space, he was right in my car window. [00:13:30] That's when Roberts described Busfield making, quote, very graphic comments, including, reports the Daily Mail, a comment about a sex act he'd like to perform on her and a vile complaint about his own wife in bed. [00:13:44] She went on to say Busfield followed her to a car wash, continuing to harass her. [00:13:48] She says it was, quote, very hard to get rid of him, and that the encounter left her with, quote, a sick feeling inside. [00:13:55] Five other women also submitting sworn statements in support of the 17-year-old's account, according to the Daily Mail. [00:14:03] The lawsuit ultimately settling out of court in 1995. [00:14:07] On Friday, Roberts sending a new statement to the Daily Mail, quote, I stand by everything I said then. [00:14:13] The reason why I stand by it is because it was true then and it is true now. [00:14:17] The resurface deposition comes as Busfield now faces two counts of criminal misconduct against a minor tied to allegations from now 11-year-old twin boys who acted in Fox's series The Cleaning Lady when Busfield served as director. [00:14:32] According to court records, the boys allege the inappropriate touching began in 2022 when they were seven. [00:14:38] Busfield surrendering to Albuquerque police last month before being released on his own recognizance, with a New Mexico judge citing his lack of criminal history and no corroborating evidence. [00:14:50] Prosecutors in court filings referencing multiple prior allegations against Busfield, including the incident on the Little Big League set, a separate allegation that he abused a 16-year-old girl during an audition around 2001, and a claim that in 2012, he sexually assaulted a woman in a movie theater, reports the Washington Post. [00:15:11] Busfield was not charged in any of those cases. [00:15:14] Busfield denies the latest allegations, his legal team saying the alleged victim's parents are motivated by money and revenge and are a couple of con artists. [00:15:23] The father was convicted of fraud in another case and was disbarred from being an attorney. [00:15:29] The mother allegedly has multiple civil judgments against her for fraud. [00:15:33] The criminal case involving the two young boys remains ongoing. === Trump's Construction Quality (03:57) === [00:15:39] President Trump announcing the recently renamed Trump Kennedy Center will shut down for about two years, beginning July 4th, to undergo, quote, construction, revitalization, and complete rebuilding. [00:15:50] In a Sunday Truth Social post, Mr. Trump, who also serves as the chair of the center's board, writing, quote, If we don't close, the quality of construction will not be nearly as good, and the time to completion because of interruptions with audiences from the many events using the facility will be much longer. [00:16:07] The temporary closure will produce a much faster and higher quality result. [00:16:11] Mr. Trump, yesterday from The Oval, further describing the project. [00:16:15] Do you plan on tearing it down, and how much will all of the rankings cost? [00:16:20] Probably around $200 million. [00:16:23] It's in very bad shape. [00:16:24] It's run down. [00:16:25] It's dilapidated. [00:16:26] It's sort of dangerous. [00:16:27] Things fall out, fall out of ceilings. [00:16:30] You've seen it. [00:16:31] We had a lot of great events here over the last year, but you can't do any work because people are coming in and out. [00:16:37] We have a marble man over there the other day. [00:16:39] He said, you know, every time I put down a piece of marble, people are stepping on the marble. [00:16:43] They don't even have time to drive. [00:16:45] And you can't do the same quality job. [00:16:47] And so we're going to close it and we're going to make it unbelievable, far better than it ever was. [00:16:53] And we'll be able to do it properly. [00:16:54] I was thinking maybe there's a way of doing it simultaneously, but there really isn't. [00:16:59] I'm not ripping it down. [00:17:00] I'll be using the steel. [00:17:02] So we're using the structure. [00:17:03] We're using some of the marble and some of the marble comes down. [00:17:07] But when it's open, it'll be brand new and really beautiful. [00:17:09] President Trump last February replacing the entire board of the once progressive center with allies and appointing special envoy Rick Grinnell as interim president. [00:17:19] Grinnell tasked with ensuring the Kennedy Center promotes values aligning with the America First vision and stabilizing the finances he says were left in dire straits by past management. [00:17:29] In an ex-post, Grinnell writing, quote, I'm grateful for President Trump's visionary leadership. [00:17:34] I am also grateful to Congress for appropriating an historic $257 million to finally address decades of deferred maintenance and repairs at the Trump Kennedy Center. [00:17:45] On a March visit to the center, President Trump criticizing prior leadership over the state of the building. [00:17:50] It's in tremendous disrepair, as is a lot of the rest of our country, most of it because of bad management. [00:17:59] This is a shame what I've watched and witnessed. [00:18:03] They spent a fortune, $250 million, and they built these rooms that nobody's going to use, rooms underground. [00:18:11] And I've often wondered what are the big cubes that they have outside that block the view. [00:18:16] The cubes with the door in them, so that people can get down to rooms that nobody's going to use. [00:18:21] And it's a shame. [00:18:23] It's a shame. [00:18:24] The president's sweeping takeover of the Trump Kennedy Center, igniting backlash from Democrats and left-leaning art groups. [00:18:31] Since the board voted in December to add the president's name to the center, the Washington National Opera, composer Philip Glass, the Martha Graham Dance Company, Doug Verone and Dancers, and several other groups you've never heard of, pulling out of scheduled performances, according to Newsweek. [00:18:50] And that'll do it for your AM update. [00:18:52] I'm Megan Kelly. [00:18:53] Join me back here for the MK Show, live on Sirius XM's The Megan Kelly channel 111 at Noon East, on youtube.com/slash Megan Kelly, and on All podcast platforms. [00:19:06] Hi, it's Eric. [00:19:07] I got a phone call with a family dinner to under 200-lappin. [00:19:09] I'm on the way home. [00:19:10] Is it going? [00:19:11] We have two children and two children. [00:19:13] So I'm wondering if this is just a test? [00:19:15] The test is you, Eric. [00:19:17] You go to the remote, go to the family dinner to under 200-lappin, and plug with you all you need to take a taco with a kyllingsnader to just 168 kroner. [00:19:26] Enkle rusk or go made upstad to underground. [00:19:29] For Enkler, I offered the best. [00:19:32] Remotusen alte Lava Pizza. [00:19:36] Yeah.
