[00:00:56] It's been so long we kind of forgot what it's like to have somebody actually advocating for us, treating us like we are the superpower that we are, not getting pushed around by these lesser countries that think they can dump all their criminal illegals in America and not have us push back. [00:01:52] And people thought that maybe those three would come on board and maybe Just McConnell would come on board as it happened. [00:01:58] McConnell said no to Pete with a statement ripping him. [00:02:01] Collins and Murkowski, same. [00:02:04] And Ernst made all the difference. [00:02:06] And then JD Vance casts the deciding vote because it was 50-50. [00:02:09] President Trump had a public standoff with the country of Columbia, not the university. [00:04:51] Those three things. [00:04:52] I think folks should understand the comeback of President Trump politically took four years from when he got back to Mar-A-Lago. [00:05:38] And maybe a preview of how these ICE raids are going to go, where they're being lied about. [00:05:44] I mean, that's what happened this weekend in Chicago, where we had Chicago Public Schools call a press conference claiming that ICE showed up at an elementary school. [00:05:56] We have some of that. [00:05:57] Let's watch. [00:05:59] The ICE agents were not allowed into the school. [00:06:03] And our students and staff are safe. [00:06:06] That CPS will continue to protect our students and their families. [00:06:11] We will not coordinate with immigration and custom enforcement agents. [00:06:16] Okay, so good for you. [00:06:18] Cloaking herself in sanctimony. [00:06:21] We are not going to cooperate. [00:06:22] We're going to protect the children. [00:06:23] You had the Chicago Tribune reporting that ICE showed up at this school at 11.15 a.m. [00:06:28] The immigration action appears to be the first at a Chicago school after Trump took office. [00:06:34] It makes me so sad, said Eva Chavez, a 37-year-old who lives in the neighborhood and came out after she heard about it. [00:06:39] Immigration groups arrived. [00:06:41] Parents panicked. [00:06:42] Some took their kids out of the school. [00:06:44] Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker spread the lie on X saying the first reports of raids in Chicago are at an elementary school targeting children, separating families. [00:06:55] It just, the only problem is it wasn't true. [00:06:58] Turns out that it was Secret Service investigating a threat. [00:07:03] Bill Melusian of Fox reporting that Chicago Public Schools falsely claimed they block ICE officers from entering a school. [00:07:08] The narrative took off. [00:07:09] Apparently nobody bothered to check with DHS or ICE, both of which denied the claim. [00:07:15] It turns out it was Secret Service agents. [00:07:17] The Secret Service leader identified themselves or at the time identified themselves and left business cards. [00:07:23] They were looking for a student who made a threat to a government official. [00:07:27] And then Chicago Public Schools admitted it, releasing a long statement saying it was just a, it was a misunderstanding, misunderstanding, Steve. [00:07:37] I don't know. [00:07:37] I mean, the media ran with it. [00:07:38] The governor ran with it. [00:07:40] They couldn't get to cameras fast enough. [00:07:42] And it was all a lie. [00:07:45] Look, Pritzker is running 28. [00:07:47] I think Tom Holman, I think it ought to happen this afternoon. [00:07:50] Call their bluff. [00:07:50] We're in Chicago for a reason because Eric Adams has already said he made a mistake, a grievous mistake. [00:07:55] That's why the Southern District indicted him when he saw the light. [00:07:59] Los Angeles, you see, they're going to drop the Sanctuary City. [00:08:03] You have to call their bluff. [00:08:04] I think they ought to go in this afternoon and call the bluff of the mayor. [00:08:08] If he does not allow the ICE agents in the city jail to pick up the bad ombres that are there, which they haven't done today, arrest him. [00:08:16] If Pritzker doesn't let him go into the prisons, the state prisons, arrest Pritzker. [00:08:21] If you do have to go into a school, and the principal, you got to arrest them. [00:08:26] This is just not about the illegal alien invaders. [00:08:29] Remember, these people are essentially, besides the criminals, they're essentially, I would say, innocent for the fact of they were invited in here by a radical government that hates the United States of America. [00:08:39] It's now time to take the torch to the enemy. [00:08:41] And that is the mayor of Chicago and the governor. [00:08:44] If Pritzker wants to run in 2028, if he wants to run in 2028 in the Democratic primary, let him do it from a federal prison cell, because right now he's obstructing justice. [00:08:56] If they can't, if Holman can't, look, Holman's doing great, but to go to the projects and get guys they've released or get them in onesies twosies is so expensive, so cumbersome, and quite frankly, dangerous. [00:09:06] It's now time to go to the jails, go to the prisons and make them turn them over. [00:09:10] If they don't turn her over, arrest the officials in charge. [00:09:14] They're the ones blocking this. [00:09:15] And this gets to the heart of this wasn't chaos at the border. [00:09:18] This was a well-thought-through plan to allow 12 to 15 million illegal alien invaders to invade our country. [00:09:26] And they have to go home, right, on military transport. [00:09:29] And we got to cut deals with all the frontline nations, I believe, not do this onesies, Tuesdays. [00:09:35] You know, cut deals. [00:09:36] Let's do, let's roll. [00:09:37] But now it's time to take it up. [00:09:39] We're never going to get there by going to housing projects and finding and finding bad guys who you do understand, Megan, you're a smart lawyer. [00:10:15] Here's Tom Holman explaining why it very well may be that we have to go into these so-called sensitive areas that Joe Biden deemed off limits. [00:10:23] Here he is. [00:10:25] Benjamin Huffman, the acting Homeland Security Secretary, said in a statement, criminals will no longer be able to hide in America's schools and churches to avoid arrest. [00:10:34] What criminals are hiding in schools? [00:10:36] Look, how many MS-13 members are the age of 14 and 17? [00:10:41] Many of them. [00:10:42] So look, if it's the National Security Threat, Public Safety, and what you need to understand is a case by case. [00:10:47] Name another agency, another law enforcement agency that has those type of requirements that they can't walk into a school or a doctor's office or a medical campus. [00:10:56] No other agencies have those standards. [00:10:58] But someday you could go into those schools and grab people who are just in the country illegally. [00:11:05] On a case-by-case basis, depending who they are, what the circumstances are. [00:11:10] It's never a zero game. [00:11:13] This is what we're going to get, Steve. [00:11:15] As you well know, the media is going to try to paint these MS-13, these Trenda Agua members as though they're little boy scouts that poor, that mean old Tom Holman is just harassing. [00:11:24] And parents need to run down to their local school district and grab their child if he's Latino. [00:11:31] This is why I think we have to be very clear about what we're talking about. [00:11:36] And I don't think the administration has done much clarity. [00:11:39] To me, it's from the afternoon of the 20th of January, 2021, till high noon on the 20th of January of 2025. [00:11:48] Everyone that Biden allowed into this country illegally all have to go. [00:11:53] Right now it is MSN 13, but I don't want to get into people's minds. [00:11:56] We're just going to get the bad ombres, the really bad ones. [00:11:59] That's where you start with. [00:12:00] But they all have to, eventually you're going to have to go to schools. [00:12:03] Now you're going to do it in a empathetic way. [00:12:06] You have to be, you have to be empathetic. [00:12:07] And this is why you have to go back to the frontline nations, the other nations, including Asia Europe. [00:12:12] You got to say, like they did to Columbia over the weekend, yo, your folks are coming back. [00:12:17] We will work out something to make sure that we can get them there, do it safely. [00:12:21] But if you don't, we have tariffs, we have sanctions, we have other things that we can do, but you're going to take the people back. [00:12:27] Folks have to understand, all 12 to 15 million have to return home. [00:12:31] We don't have the money. [00:12:32] We don't have the social services. [00:12:34] It's destroyed communities. [00:12:35] It's led to all kinds of other problems. [00:12:37] We have an African-American and Hispanic citizen in this country have been crushed by this. [00:12:41] Their education system has been crushed. [00:12:43] The healthcare's been crushed. [00:12:44] They're working for wages at 20% lower because there's too much illegal alien labor available to take their jobs. [00:12:53] It's not right. [00:12:54] And I hate to be the guy that says it's all eventually going to go to school. [00:12:58] Martha Radditz yesterday shows you exactly the deportation porn you're going to get, and you're going to get it. [00:13:04] So people have to come together and say, this is a mission. [00:13:06] And that's why I wouldn't confuse it for people who have been here before that. [00:13:10] We have enough of getting the 12 million out now. [00:13:13] That'll take years. [00:13:14] It just will. [00:13:15] Let's worry about who came before. [00:13:18] That's a topic for a different day. [00:13:19] And we can get to that. [00:13:20] But now, right here, now, the deportations have to go. [00:13:24] I think they have to be ratcheted up. [00:13:25] I think they have to be much more systematic. [00:13:27] And the way you're going to do that is start arresting officials, start arresting, like, for instance, the Catholic Church. [00:13:34] If the Catholic Church bishops are going to come here and throw down, say that, hey, start rolling up the bishops. [00:13:40] If it's going to be Catholic charities, which to me is a criminal organization, and this weekend she's putting out videos about how to deport it, go and arrest them and throw them in the who's gal. [00:13:49] It shouldn't be the people that are kind of innocent here are the folks that came. [00:13:52] Now we have to work it out that they have to go home and we got to be empathetic and charitable about that. [00:13:58] We don't have to be empathetic and we do not have to be charitable about the people that made money on basically human trafficking to get these people here and destroy the country. [00:14:07] That's all these NGOs. [00:14:09] It's the Lutheran church, the Catholic Church. [00:14:11] You have this Jewish family services, all of them. [00:14:14] And if the Catholic bishops are going to throw down on this one, let's just throw down now, Megan. [00:14:18] It's just I thought the same. [00:14:21] I was like, why all the money that we donate every Sunday when we go to Mass that you think is helping the poor, that you think is helping the underprivileged, it's going to the what? [00:14:31] The hundreds of millions that the Catholic Church has been raking in trying to get these illegals into the country and settled here. [00:14:38] Hold on, hold it. [00:14:38] The second collection, the second collection is basically going to these organizations. [00:14:43] You have no earthy idea what they're doing except working. [00:14:45] We went down to the border. [00:14:46] We've actually shown this over the last couple of years. [00:14:49] But the Catholic charities are getting billion dollars. [00:14:52] They get billion dollar programs from the federal government. [00:14:54] Remember, the federal government uses the NGOs to basically expedite this. [00:14:58] And work it. [00:15:05] Plus, you know, the decent Catholics that go to mass every week, that second collection, you have no earthy idea where that second collection is going. [00:15:13] Yeah. [00:15:20] The Pope said Trump's plans to deport illegal immigrants would be, quote, a disgrace, that it would be a disgrace. [00:15:26] I'm sorry, but this Pope, he doesn't speak for millions of Catholics. [00:15:31] He really doesn't. [00:15:32] I know technically he does, but he doesn't speak for me. [00:15:34] He doesn't speak for most conservatives in America who really we've had about enough of his far left social agenda. [00:15:41] Tom Holman, back to him. [00:15:42] He was asked about the Pope's comments. [00:15:44] And as usual, hit it out of the park. [00:15:46] Watch. [00:15:47] Make your message to the Pope. [00:15:48] I'm a lifelong Catholic. [00:15:55] He's got big problems there. [00:15:57] And Vatican, they have a wall around the Vatican. [00:15:59] If you enter the Vatican, the crime is serious. [00:16:04] You'll be charged with a serious crime to get to jail. [00:16:06] So he can protect the Vatican where he lives. [00:16:08] He can build a wall where he lives. [00:16:10] Would American people not allow that? [00:16:11] No. [00:16:12] Securing the border saves lives. [00:16:13] He needs to understand that we secure the border. [00:16:15] Let's people come, let's women get raped by the cartel. [00:16:18] Let's children die in the river. [00:16:19] Let's Americans die from fentanyl overdoses. [00:16:22] He ought to stick to the Catholic Church and fix that. [00:16:24] That's a mess. [00:16:26] You know, Steve, last week we were critical of that Episcopalian minister who was lecturing to Trump and JD Vance when they did her the courtesy of going by National Cathedral. [00:16:34] The popes know better. [00:16:35] I mean, that the Catholic Church is doing exactly what that Episcopal minister did, trying to lecture Trump to be more humane when it comes to immigration policy without any acknowledgement of the rape trees and the fentanyl and the murders that are happening to Americans because of it. [00:16:52] I'd actually say the church is the Catholic Church is worse. [00:16:54] The Episcopal is just some bishop up there, you know, yammering like they all yammer on the left. [00:16:59] It's just talk. [00:17:00] The Catholic Church has been actions. [00:17:02] I mean, definitely, you could actually say, Brother Homan, I think their business model, this I got it with Dolan years ago. [00:17:08] The business models, you know, the church have been emptied from traditional parishioners because of the pedophilia crisis and other things, this left-wing doctrine. [00:17:19] They filled it up with illegal aliens. [00:17:21] They have a business model that supports this. [00:17:23] On top of all that, they just appointed the most open borders cardinal in America. [00:17:28] I think it's McElroy to be the cardinal over at the basilica here in Washington, D.C., basically be the cardinal for one of the most powerful, not the most powerful archdiocese in the country, Washington, D.C. [00:17:40] And then he speaks for the Pope here, and he's going to be in the president's grill. [00:17:43] He's an open borders guy, which says no deportation. [00:17:46] So there are many institutions, source-backed, philanthropy, religious, that were all part of this. === Connecticut Pardons Investigation (04:43) === [00:17:54] This just didn't happen. [00:17:56] The people that are kind of the victims here are the 12 to 15 million that came up, but they can't stay. [00:18:01] We have to be the stern parent here. [00:18:02] They cannot stay because they're destroying other citizens in this country. [00:18:07] They have to go home because you're going to hear on CNBC, all the economic reasons they got to stay. [00:18:11] It's going to be inflationary. [00:18:12] It's this. [00:18:13] It's that. [00:18:13] It costs too much money. [00:18:15] All of it. [00:18:16] Bottom line, if we're a constitutional republic, you can't be invaded. [00:18:19] We have, this is about our sovereignty. [00:18:21] They all must go home. [00:18:22] And I believe you have to have a massive investigation, a criminal investigation with a grand jury and a special prosecutor about how this happened, how this happened. [00:18:32] And people have to be held accountable. [00:18:33] If we cannot hold those that are responsible accountable, then we're going to lose our sovereignty that way. [00:18:40] You know what? [00:18:41] The idea of an investigation is really interesting because just today it hit that among those Joe Biden pardoned with his massive wand, wave of a wand, was a killer of two people in Connecticut, a mother and child. [00:18:56] And Dick Blumenthal, the Democrat senator from Connecticut, is out there saying that was this was a massive mistake, that he doesn't believe Biden intended to do this, that this person, this killer, was represented by the ACLU to Biden to be a nonviolent drug offender. [00:19:11] And that's why he got lumped in. [00:19:13] And there are already some on X calling for an investigation into how this and all the other pardons were made and whether Joe Biden was compass mentis in order to grant the clemency and the pardons that he granted and whether some of these things can be undone, whether even the president himself intended to actually allow some of these people out of jail. [00:19:35] They could definitely be undone. [00:19:36] And I say this about the January 6th, as you know, it has to be because they did it so late. [00:19:41] They did it. [00:19:42] It was his Justice Department. [00:19:43] It has to be Pam Bondi and the Justice Department that has to do this. [00:19:47] And remember, Emil Bovie, the number three guy in the Justice Department, was actually on the raids with Holman over the weekend. [00:19:56] We actually did a sidebar interview with him, my guy, Ben Berquam. [00:20:00] He said he was outraged, outraged by what he saw as obstruction by officials, government officials in Chicago to stop this. [00:20:08] So that's what I'm saying. [00:20:09] We have to adjudicate all this. [00:20:11] And these pardons, all of the pardons, acclaiming for Cheney and all of them, actually had to be executed by the Justice Department because Biden waited too late. [00:20:19] And so I think that all of those ought to be in play. [00:20:22] Tom Finton is adamant about this. [00:20:24] Tom Finton doesn't think any of these pardons, we got to look at these ones. [00:20:28] The pardon process is so detailed and takes so many years. [00:20:32] It is impossible in this situation in Connecticut for that to happen, right? [00:20:36] It's just because you have every piece of record that's there. [00:20:39] You don't know what they're slipping into the deck to have Biden just sign off on. [00:20:43] So this whole thing, the whole pardon thing, but tied back to also illegal immigration has to be fully investigated. [00:20:50] And we got to get to the bottom of it. [00:20:52] And I would tell Pam Bondi, do not execute on any of the pardons for anybody until we get to the bottom of it. [00:20:59] It's so disturbing. [00:21:00] It's like, I don't, I have no idea whether Joe Biden knew what he was doing, but that is something we should be assured of because like it's one thing to do a controversial pardon. [00:21:09] It's quite another to have the ACLU sneak one past an incompetent president. [00:21:16] His, yeah, this is, this is on X right now. [00:21:20] And hold on a second. [00:21:21] I'm just trying to pull up the exact, yeah. [00:21:24] The reporting on this. [00:21:25] Relatives of an eight-year-old boy and his mother who were murdered by a Connecticut drug gang are outraged that a man convicted in the killings was one of nearly 2,500 people whose drug-related prison sentences were commuted by former President Joe Biden in his last days in office. [00:21:39] Adrian Peeler served a 20-year state prison sentence for murder conspiracy in the 1999 shootings of Leroy B.J. Brown and his mother, Karen Clark in Bridgeport, killings that shocked the city and led to improvements in state witness protection. [00:21:53] Prosecutors said Brown and his mother were assassinated to prevent the child from testifying in another murder case. [00:21:59] In December 2021, Peeler finished his state sentence, but began serving a 15-year term in federal prison for dealing large amounts of crack cocaine. [00:22:06] The federal sentence would have kept him behind bars until 2033. [00:22:09] He is now set to be released in July. [00:22:12] And this is the one that Blumenthal, a Connecticut Democrat, who was the state's attorney general when Brown and his mother were killed, said someone dropped the ball, quote unquote. [00:22:20] In Peeler's clemency, he and other political leaders in Connecticut, including the Bridgeport mayor, criticized the commutation. [00:22:25] This really was a vicious murder that changed our laws, said Blumenthal. [00:22:28] It also highlights how we need to take a look at the pardon system to see how it can be improved. [00:22:32] Well, why don't we first take a look to see whether it was even intended by this outgoing president? === Legal Argument Lost Backing (15:25) === [00:22:37] So that's one thing. [00:22:40] Forgive me for playing a soundbite to Steve Bannon of Selena Gomez, but she's got a lot of power. [00:22:46] She's very popular with a large segment of the population. [00:22:50] And she just posted this video and then deleted it after her fans went nuts on her. [00:22:56] But this is what we're getting. [00:23:00] I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry. [00:25:36] So I think our audiences grow every day and they grow the engagement. [00:25:39] And to know that they blew her up after that phony C-level actress performance is to me encouraging. [00:25:50] Remember, American people have tremendous common sense, tremendous grip, but they also have tremendous decency. [00:25:59] They've given more, have freed more people, given their lives freeing more people, given money everywhere. [00:26:04] The American people are very decent and they understand what's going on here and they fully back President Trump in this regard to clean this mess up. [00:26:22] The Democrats are now majority in favor of deporting all illegals, never mind the ones who have committed crimes, which is where Holman's starting, but as you point out, not where he's going to end. [00:30:09] But there are 30,000 people in the pipeline, Afghan refugees. [00:30:13] But my primary concern as the vice president, Margaret, is to look after the American people. [00:30:17] And now that we know that we have vetting problems with a lot of these refugee programs, we absolutely cannot unleash thousands of unvetted people into our country. [00:30:27] These people are vetted. [00:30:28] These people are vetted. [00:30:29] Just like the guy who planned a terrorist attack in Oklahoma a few months ago, he was allegedly properly vetted. [00:30:33] And many people in the media and the Democratic Party said that he was properly vetted. [00:30:37] Clearly, he wasn't. [00:30:39] I don't want my children to share a neighborhood with people who are not properly vetted. [00:30:44] And because I don't want it for my kids, I'm not going to force any other American citizens' kids to do that either. [00:30:49] No, and that was a very particular case. [00:30:50] It wasn't clear if he was radicalized when he got here or while he was living. [00:30:54] I don't really care, Margaret. [00:30:55] I don't want that person in my country. [00:30:57] And I think most Americans agree with me. [00:31:00] Right on. [00:31:01] I don't really care, Margaret. [00:31:03] He's right. [00:31:05] Well, he does it. [00:31:06] He does it such a gentleman. [00:31:07] I mean, finally, the exasperation when they're just going to continue on and continue on and continue on, all of them. [00:31:16] It's why the ratings are a disaster, why the cost of these things, they're going through and cutting everybody's salary. [00:31:21] The salaries are outrageous. [00:31:22] The first one is cutting salaries. [00:31:23] You see right there in JD. [00:31:24] He tries, he makes an argument, puts the facts out. [00:31:27] It's just continues on, continues on. [00:31:28] I mean, it's not an interview. [00:31:30] It's a debate, right? [00:31:31] And finally, he just says, look, I don't care. [00:31:33] And the American people don't care. [00:31:34] Next question, which I think is great. [00:31:36] Who cares? [00:31:37] Like this guy who he was referencing, his name is 27-year-old Nashar Nasir Ahmad Tahedi. [00:31:47] And per court documents, he planned to liquidate his assets, repatriate his family to Afghanistan, purchase assault rifles, and stage a violent attack on election day. [00:31:55] He entered the U.S. on a special immigrant visa on September 9th, 2021, days after Biden's catastrophic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan. [00:32:02] Who that had a family member die in this planned. violent attack on election day would care when he was radicalized. [00:32:11] Why was he here? [00:32:13] It wasn't lawful. [00:32:14] He needed to go. [00:32:15] He wasn't vetted. [00:32:16] That's the point that he was making. [00:32:19] And you times that by 20 million. [00:32:21] So here's another piece because the birthright citizenship has made a lot of, is rough a lot of feathers, even on the Republican side, because Trump, notwithstanding what's written in the Constitution, is saying he's getting rid of it. [00:32:31] And there is a legal argument to be made there. [00:32:32] Trust me, I researched it in depth before I sat with Trump in September of 23 because I went into it saying, this is a preposterous proposal. [00:32:39] It's in the Constitution. [00:32:40] You can't withdraw it. [00:32:41] And the more I looked at it, the more I realized very smart legal scholars actually have made the credible argument that you actually, the Constitution is not as clear as its defenders argue. [00:32:50] And you can get rid of birthright citizenship. [00:32:52] It's because of this clause that means you have to be born in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof. [00:32:57] And there's a question there. [00:32:58] Anyway, the media will not allow for any of that possibility, nuance, or other legal arguments. [00:33:05] Margaret Brennan brought that up too with JD Vance. [00:33:09] And here's how that went. [00:33:11] Temporary residents, people who come in here, whether legally or illegally and don't plan to stay, their children should become American citizens. [00:33:19] I don't know any country that does that or why we would be different. [00:33:21] Well, this is a country founded by immigrants. [00:33:23] Well, this is a country founded by... [00:33:26] This is a very unique country, and it was founded by some immigrants and some settlers. [00:33:30] But just because we were founded by immigrants doesn't mean that 240 years later that we have to have the dumbest immigration policy in the world. [00:33:38] By the way, it wasn't founded by illegal immigrants. [00:33:41] And we don't have to keep the door open to more and more criminals because of what happened 250 years ago, Steve. [00:34:25] These people lied to people and then later said, well, you know, we actually knew the polling wasn't that great toward the end. [00:34:31] They outright lie and they will lie because they've controlled, they control every institution. [00:34:36] They control the institutional power in the country and they got very lazy. [00:34:40] They never thought a startup group like MAGA, these kind of populist nationalists with no money and really no institutional power could get in back on someone like President Trump is the reason they treated Trump so badly. [00:34:52] Remember the felonies that he was charged with just on insurrection in J6 would have left him in prison for 300 years. [00:35:01] They wanted him to die in prison. [00:35:03] Until you embrace that fact that they wanted him to die in prison, a man that looks like, look what's happened the last seven days. [00:35:10] I mean, when he went to Notre Dame Cathedral, he looked like Charlemagne walking in there. [00:35:14] He is now on the world stage as the most powerful individual and really driving all the action, right, of everything the American government's doing in every different aspect, like 30 different verticals simultaneously. [00:35:27] He's the most powerful, you know, president, I think, even more so than Reagan. [00:35:32] I think you got to go back to FDR. [00:35:34] And I put him in the category with General Washington and actually Abraham Lincoln as the age of Trump and what he's doing here. [00:35:40] They wanted him to die in prison. [00:35:43] Until you understand that, they never thought we were coming back. [00:35:45] That's why, was that Jay Monahan could lie at Davos on the stage, says, we never debanked anybody. [00:35:54] The insurance policies were canceled because they never thought we would be back in a billion years. [00:35:59] They said this at Davos. [00:36:08] He resurrected himself and his movement resurrected. [00:36:11] He says, Graham Allison said, we sat here and mocked those guys for the last four years. [00:36:15] They never thought we were coming back. [00:36:17] And now that's why it has to be, I think you said at the beginning, you know, all pedal, no break. [00:36:22] We only have so much time to get all this done and to seize institutional power. [00:36:27] And that's why I think people have got to be working seven days a week, 24 hours a day to make it happen. [00:36:32] And all the shows, all the different shows have to back up. [00:36:34] The difference we have this time is like the 12 or 15 most powerful people in the administration last time in the White House are all on the outside, right? [00:36:42] We're all on the outside, sitting there supporting the president every day with that outside effort, that outside push that you need to make sure that like you've just done here, to break it down to the American people. [00:36:53] And it's more than just a conservative audience. [00:36:55] Now you're seeing more and more people saying, well, I want to find out about this. [00:36:58] And they like what they hear. [00:37:00] We're about to flip California. [00:37:02] California, I talked to, I've lived out in California and Southern California, you know, for 20 or 30 years. [00:37:09] I'm very familiar with property and Pacific Palisades. [00:37:12] Let's say that. [00:37:12] And those people out there are starting to flip because they realize all the policies they supported for so many years really were the predicate for how this could happen. [00:37:22] And now they're seeing the nightmare of Bass and Newsom and just this blob that won't let them get on with their lives. [00:37:28] And they're saying we had enough of it. [00:37:29] Trump comes out and has done more in 24 hours than all these guys. [00:37:33] So we're in a unique moment in American history, but now a much broader, I say that MAGA and the MAGA beliefs are two-thirds of 70% of the country. [00:37:42] It's like 1932. [00:37:43] We can have an inflection point in this country and essentially govern for 50 years if we take immediate action of what needs to be done. [00:37:53] We stay decent and empathetic, but we take action and we're relentless about that action. [00:38:00] On the debanking, just to just to let people know. === Unique Moment American History (15:07) === [00:38:03] So yeah, Brian Moynihan goes out there at Davos and says, oh, no, we don't debank anybody, Bank of America. [00:38:08] And JP Morgan also says, oh, no, we issued a statement. [00:38:11] We don't de-bank anybody. [00:38:13] Just so you know, in 2024, the Montana Attorney General joined a coalition of 15 attorneys general in demanding action from Bank of America to correct the company's debanking policies and discriminatory behavior toward conservatives and religious Americans. [00:38:27] They allege in this lawsuit, the bank denied services to gun manufacturers, fossil fuel producers, contractors for U.S. immigration and customs enforcement. [00:38:36] It also canceled the accounts of Christian ministry groups for operating, quote, a business type we have chosen not to serve. [00:38:42] Similar allegations against Wells Fargo, we could go down the list. [00:38:46] A Geo group, a private prison operator, said it was debanked by Bank of America and JP Morgan after it faced protests from left-leaning groups over the work it does for ICE. [00:38:55] Melania Trump said in her book, she was debanked and that son Barron was denied a bank account. [00:39:01] She didn't name the bank. [00:39:03] 30 tech entrepreneurs said they've been debanked in the last four years, according to Mark Andreessen, who came on the record at PayPal and what they did to conservatives. [00:39:12] And like the list is very long for these guys to now claim they've never been debanking conservatives is a lie. [00:39:18] It is a lie. [00:39:19] It's belied by this long history and what's alleged in these lawsuits. [00:39:22] So that's the debanking thing. [00:39:24] I do want to talk about California, but before we go there, let's stay on immigration and do Columbia because what happened with Columbia this weekend was a thing of beauty. [00:39:30] It was a thing of beauty, Steve. [00:39:32] And all while Trump was on the golf course, the guy was hitting under par while he was rubbing the president of Colombia's nose in the crap storm. [00:39:41] He tried to dump on us. [00:39:42] So they sent 200,000. [00:39:44] It's an estimated 200,000 illegals in this country from Colombia. [00:39:49] As Trump points out, these are not good guys. [00:39:51] The face tattoo does not suggest in Trump's words, you're going to be president of a bank when you get here. [00:39:56] And we get two planes worth of them, at least, and this is only one week in and send them back down there. [00:40:03] And this guy has the nerve to not accept his own bad ombres. [00:40:08] Yes, they're his countrymen, though. [00:40:10] They shouldn't be our problem. [00:40:12] And Trump within about two minutes says, that's how you want to play. [00:40:17] We're going to slap a 25% tariff on all of your goods. [00:40:20] And in a week, it's going to go up to 50. [00:40:22] And we're disassociating ties with all of your embassy officials here. [00:40:27] And it's going to get more and more painful as the days go on. [00:40:30] And you have the leftist meltdown. [00:40:33] I think we have some of that. [00:40:34] Do we not, Debbie? [00:40:36] Where you've got, oh, it's just, it's just on paper, but you've got AOC and many others saying, oh, my God, this is what's going to happen. [00:40:44] And AOC was saying the coffee, the coffee prices are just about to go up 25%. [00:40:48] A tariff on them is a tariff on Americans. [00:40:50] And then the coffee here will be up 50%. [00:40:52] You have Ana Navarro saying, we import a lot of our flowers from Colombia. [00:40:56] There goes Valentine's Day. [00:40:58] Within, I think it was 60, maybe 90 minutes total, complete reversal. [00:41:03] The president of Columbia fell on his sword. [00:41:05] Not only did he say, we'll take them, he said, I'm going to send my presidential plane to go pick them up. [00:41:11] And it was a complete victory before Trump had gotten to the next hole, Steve. [00:41:16] This is how it's done. [00:41:17] And I don't even think the leftists can argue that he did anything wrong here. [00:41:20] What do you make of it? [00:41:22] This also gets back to the new economic model where he talks about external revenue service and actually not just looking at tariffs as a punitive tariff against a Mexican tomato for 25%, but a whole new way you look at the economy of the United States inside the golden door. [00:41:37] The operating leverage we have as the United States over technology and sanctions and cash flow and capital markets and all of it, including tariffs is enormous. [00:41:47] And President Trump only brought, he said, tariffs and then sanctions, he only brought about 50% of the toolbox. [00:41:54] Our power is almost unlimited about what we can do in a non-kinetic way, but it's just never been used. [00:42:01] We're always, we're just a sap. [00:42:02] And President Trump, like you said, between holes and a round that he had, he was on a roll on, he just said, here's what I want to do. [00:42:09] Bang, bang, bang. [00:42:10] You know, the state and treasury go out with that in an announcement. [00:42:14] 90 minutes, enough time that they get to write a press release. [00:42:18] As you know, they full surrendered. [00:42:20] So this is very important for what it shows about the power of the United States in dealing with both our friends and our enemies. [00:42:29] The one thing I, and I've been an advocate of this behind the scenes, because you saw in the Honduras and the Central America, I would, I say get everybody up here, either McCallan, Texas, D.C. Pickett, it should be Mark Oruby, I think, first in Besson, then the president later. [00:42:42] Walk them through and say, guys, here's the number of folks you have. [00:42:46] Here's what we're going to do. [00:42:47] Here's when they're coming back. [00:42:49] Here's how we're going to schedule military airlift command to do it. [00:44:29] I like going to the black neighborhoods of Washington, where I saw an entire fight in the U.S. Capitol between blacks and Latinos with barricades, which seemed like nonsense to me because they should join together. [00:44:40] I don't like your oil, Trump. [00:44:42] You're going to wipe out the human species because of greed. [00:44:44] I am informed that you impose a 50% tariff on the fruits of our human labor to enter the United States, and I do the same. [00:44:51] Okay, you already gave it up, sir. [00:44:54] But I love this, Steve, because what he's really doing here is playing the victim. [00:44:57] He's trying to act tough while also playing the victim. [00:45:59] You said earlier about Holman and JD and JD being such a gentleman and Homan kind of being so matter of fact. [00:46:05] Trump doesn't give two fucks, okay? [00:56:51] Because of course, they always drop these kids in the worst performing, poorest neighborhoods where kids who are already getting short changed and short shrifted on education are forced to bear the burden of the pieties of these actors and performers. [00:57:14] Like these people are enforcing their open borders woke agenda because they are not themselves paying the price. [00:57:23] It's the opposite. [00:57:37] And so they show up as if they are the ones with the higher moral high ground and the pieties and the virtue when actually what they have done is wage class warfare on much poorer Americans and working class Americans who are struggling to give their children the American dream and can't because Joe Biden and Kamal Harris and the Democrats writ large have imported 15 million people to jump the line and take that American dream from them. [00:58:18] And the fact that so many Americans are being represented by Donald Trump, that's really where his power comes from. [00:58:24] The fact that this is wildly popular proposals and policies that have purchase, not just with Republicans, but also with the vast majority of Democrats. [00:58:38] I have never seen a person like Tom Homan show up so ready and eager to do the job, so qualified from day one with a smile on his face because he doesn't care about the lies they're going to throw at him and the pieties and the garbage that they're going to spout. [01:04:00] You campaigned on lowering prices for consumers. [01:04:03] We've seen all of these executive orders. [01:04:05] Which one lowers prices? [01:04:07] We have done a lot. [01:04:09] And there have been a number of executive orders that have caused already jobs to start coming back into our country, which is a core part of lowering prices. [01:04:17] More capital investment, more job creation in our economy is one of the things that's going to drive down prices for all consumers, but also raise wages so that people can afford to buy the things that they need. [01:04:28] If you look at our slate of executive orders. [01:04:31] No, no, Margaret, prices are going to come down, but it's going to take a little bit of time, right? [01:04:36] The president has been president for all of five days. [01:04:39] I think that in those five days, he's accomplished more than Joe Biden did in four years. [01:04:55] This is what a pathetic attempted takedown. [01:04:59] So prices aren't going to come down. [01:05:00] Where's the executive order that's going to kill Joe Biden's inflation? [01:05:10] I mean, first of all, Drill Baby Drill is going to bring down the price of groceries. [01:05:14] It's not going to be immediate, but it's going to happen soon because of course, energy is a huge component when it comes to the cost of groceries. [01:05:21] You have the energy that it costs to grow things, to, you know, to harvest them, to take care of livestock, and it's transport stuff. [01:05:32] God willing that there will be an end to the war in Ukraine soon. [01:05:34] That too will help bring down the cost of groceries, undeniably. [01:05:38] Yeah, he didn't accomplish it in the first week, but it will happen. [01:05:41] You know, the thing that JD Vance said that was the most important thing is about wages. [01:05:46] Inflation is terrible, but it is absolutely crushing the working class most of all because their wages have not kept up with inflation, which means that their money that they work so hard for is not equal to the task of feeding their families anymore. [01:06:04] Every single one of Donald Trump's economic executive orders was targeted specifically at raising the wages of working class people, which will put more money in their pockets to buy those groceries. [01:06:18] Now, to rich people in the mainstream liberal media, this is invisible to them because they don't know working class people and they themselves make so much money that they don't understand what it would mean for your wages to not keep up with inflation. [01:06:32] They don't understand how tariffs are the most beautiful word in the English language, not just to Donald Trump, but to working class people who know that what a tariff does is it makes their labor more competitive to an employer because we're not in a race to the bottom against Chinese slaves. [01:06:51] They know that controlling the border and the face of Tom Homan means that there's going to be less competition for their job in the marketplace, which is immediately going to give them more power to ask for higher wages from their employer. [01:07:07] This is all stuff that is invisible to rich people and is unbelievably important to working class people. [01:07:13] And it is literally the only thing Donald Trump cares about is he wants a strong economy which will make working class people have access once again to the American dream. [01:07:24] And it is so clear how everything from the tariffs to the trade to the immigration to the giving, telling any company, you bring your company back here to America, you're going to get 15% corporate tax rate, the lowest in the world. [01:07:38] This is all designed to raise the wages of working class people, people who work with their hands for a living, people who work in agriculture, people who work in the service industry. [01:07:50] He's going to get rid of the foreign competition from illegal migrants. [01:07:54] He's going to get rid of the foreign competition from China and its slave labor. [01:07:58] And this is going to make them have more power in the marketplace. [01:08:02] This is how you restore the American dream. [01:08:05] And to the leftist elites, it's utterly invisible. [01:08:08] And they do not matter, Megan, because the people who matter are the American people. [01:08:14] This was the mandate they gave Trump. [01:08:16] And in one week, he has made good on it. [01:08:59] And before Trump went out to California, he did what Joe Biden forgot to do, which is show some empathy and caring for the victims of Hurricane Helene, still suffering in North Carolina, where he swung by with a spectacular First Lady and decided to shine a spotlight on the people who still have not recovered and cannot get payments from insurers out there. [01:09:22] He actually had people come to the microphone and talk about their experience with these insurance companies. [01:09:28] Here's a little bit of that in SAP3. [01:09:31] We had to do mold mitigation on our home, which is extremely expensive before the structural engineer even came out in order to get our flood payout. [01:09:40] And to me, that was not really acceptable. [01:09:43] Has the insurance company been responsive or not real? [01:09:47] Not so much. [01:09:49] You know, again. [01:09:53] I'm hoping so. [01:11:05] is trying to call attention to the plight of these Americans who are still suffering, even though with all due respect to our friends in California, they're not from the Pacific Palisades or Malibu. [01:11:31] decide that what he's going to do with the power of his office is show up and give his platform to the forgotten, literally the forgotten men and women of America, the backbone of this country, the hardest working people who have been utterly, utterly forgotten by both parties, and then to name and shame the insurance companies that are stiffing them. [01:11:56] There is not another politician who I could think of who would do this. [01:12:01] This is a person whose heart just believes for the American people. [01:12:06] This was one of the most astonishing things I've ever seen in my entire life as a journalist, as an American. [01:12:15] It was absolutely astonishing. [01:12:18] You could see the love that went back and forth between the president and these people. [01:12:22] These are the people that he was elected to serve. [01:12:25] And this was his first stop on his way, as you say, Megan, to go and speak to and help the much more affluent people in California. [01:12:33] This is a man who intends to be the president of every American, whether you're a broke person in Appalachia or a rich person in California. [01:13:40] It's extraordinary to see this happening, especially between a Republican and the working class of America, which is, you know, traditionally not the group that would run in to vote for a Republican. === Mom Sounds Republican (07:58) === [01:13:50] You know, my mom is a lifetime nurse. [01:13:54] Now she's a retired nurse who spent her career at the VA. [01:13:58] And after my dad died, you know, long time ago, 1985, she married a plumber. [01:14:04] His kids became a police officer and a nurse, right? [01:14:09] This is not like, this is not like a rich family. [01:14:12] And for the first time, my mom sounds like a Republican. [01:14:17] I hope she doesn't mind me revealing, my mom voted for Trump. [01:14:21] And it's not because of me. [01:14:23] My mom has voted Democrat her entire life. [01:14:25] She's 83 because of that, Batia, because she's picking up what he's putting down. [01:14:30] Like she sees what he's doing. [01:14:32] She feels heard by him. [01:14:34] She's living. [01:14:35] Yes, of course I help her, but she, like all pride people, prideful people in their 80s, does not want my money. [01:14:40] She wants to live on her retirement. [01:14:42] You know, she earned it and all that. [01:14:44] And she sees what's happening with the inflation and her, the money and so on. [01:14:47] Like that's what caused her to open her mind to Trump after a lifetime of being told by my nana, who passed in 2016 at 101, Republicans are for rich people. [01:15:00] And they're starting to see with Trump, that's no longer true. [01:15:05] Yes, absolutely. [01:15:07] And I think, you know, the fact that the media is trying to run the 2016 playbook and sitting there weeping and in tears over murderers and rapists, it's falling so flat, especially in light of what you just said, Megan. [01:15:23] Your mom was one of millions of Americans who were Democrats a year ago, two years ago, five years ago, 15 years ago, who have found in the MAGA movement specifically a home, [01:15:38] this glorious multiracial, multi-ethnic working class coalition, thanks to Donald Trump and honestly, Steve Bannon, who played a huge role in this in explaining to people what was happening here, that this is not white nationalism. [01:15:54] This is nationalism. [01:15:55] This is love of country. [01:15:58] This is regular folks, not fancy folks, average, hardworking people who have been screwed over again and again and again, put last again and again and again, and then smeared as racists for daring to want a better future for their children. [01:16:19] This is who Donald Trump represents. [01:16:21] And because of this glorious coming together on November 5th, it is no longer possible for the media and the Democrats to get away with lying on him and smearing him. [01:16:32] When they lie about him, they are lying about the American people. [01:16:36] And the American people know that. [01:16:37] So they just can't get away with it anymore. [01:16:40] We're really about to enter a glorious new golden era of unity and common ground and coming together around common sense values that this country was built on. [01:16:51] The idea that you owe something to your neighbor first, that we owe something to our citizens. [01:16:58] It has to mean something to be an American. [01:17:02] You can't just give that away to rapists and murderers from Colombia and expect the American people to just take that. [01:17:09] We're done with that. [01:17:12] So, so good. [01:17:13] And unlike the left, President Trump's party does include the well-off. [01:17:19] He did go then to the Pacific Palisades and the Malibu and work hard to try to figure out how to help those people too. [01:17:27] Unlike the left, which demonizes one side or the other, right? [01:17:30] It's either like a bunch of country bunk and losers who just live and fly over country and are too dumb to understand what's best for them, or the rich don't pay their fair share and we need more from them like the AOCs. [01:17:44] Trump is finding a way to just bring everyone together. [01:17:47] The only people not in his coalition are the people who refuse to be in it because of their far left woke ideology that won't let them see what he's offering, right? [01:17:59] What's happening right now in the country? [01:18:03] Not everybody felt about Trump's visit to North Carolina the way we did. [01:18:07] Not everybody was inspired by what he did this past week. [01:18:10] One of the things he said was he's got questions about whether FEMA should continue as an ongoing concern or whether states should be encouraged to save and somehow find a way to address disaster management on a more local level. [01:18:26] And here is how, was it Margaret Brennan responding to that? [01:18:31] Yeah, back to Margaret. [01:18:33] She's the star of our show today. [01:18:35] SOP 14. [01:18:37] You know, FEMA has specialized expertise that some of these states just don't have. [01:18:40] Oh, in their arsenal. [01:18:42] And the whole states who are lower income states, the Mississippi, the Kentuckies, the Alabamas, be able to do this for themselves without federal help. [01:18:52] Well, the president, to be clear, is not saying we're going to leave anybody behind. [01:18:55] He's saying that the way that we administer these resources, some of which is coming from the federal level, some of which is coming from the state level, we've got to get the bureaucrats out of the way and get the aid to the people who need it most. [01:19:09] But they're too dumb and too poor, Mr. Vice President, to fan for themselves. [01:19:16] And it's so backwards, of course. [01:19:18] You look at the people at that press conference in North Carolina. [01:19:20] These are the kind of people who help their neighbors, who have been helping their neighbors, keeping people afloat when the government didn't step in and do it for them. [01:19:29] You know, I've been obviously super critical of certain aspects of Elon Musk and Doge and what have you, but the idea that some massive government bureaucracy that has failed time and again to equitably distribute aid to the people who most need it knows better what's good for these people than they do themselves is just laughable. [01:19:48] And you saw in California how exactly like you said, Megan, Donald Trump was speaking up for people who just wanted to go home and use their own money and try to find their precious belongings that they could salvage, try to clear whatever it is. [01:20:05] They want to use their own money to do it. [01:20:06] And the government was literally getting involved in Karen Bass not giving them permits to do this. [01:20:12] And all Donald Trump said was, why can't they do it? [01:20:15] And she goes, oh, well, they can do it in a week. [01:20:17] Well, a week is a very long time. [01:20:19] I mean, this is just, this is what he's doing. [01:20:22] He is showing up and saying exactly what you wish you could say, but you can't because you have not been given a voice and you have not been given the right to do that. [01:20:31] The most obvious commonsensical thing to help people who are suffering. [01:20:37] You've got the Mississippi governor, Tate Reeves, coming out on X saying hilarious elitism by Margaret Brennan and CBS News, claiming that Mississippians know less about emergency management than DC bureaucrats, all because her favorite Democrats in California and North Carolina have failed their constituents. [01:20:59] Very interesting. [01:21:00] I mean, she just can't, trust me, I've worked in the mainstream media. [01:21:04] She can't fathom that these down in places like Mississippi could ever help themselves. [01:21:13] That's how she sees them. [01:21:14] That's honestly, I guarantee you, that's how she sees them. [01:21:17] And she thinks that's what makes her a good person. [01:21:20] She thinks like her inability to see them as capable of managing money, of managing an emergency is what makes her their benevolent saint, right? [01:21:30] She's going to pressure JD Vance to keep the FEMA federal bureaucrats in charge of their wellness because they're too dumb to do it themselves. [01:21:38] It's like it's dripping out of her pores. [01:21:41] All right, let's meander westward like Trump did out to California. [01:21:44] And may I just say about the trip out west by the president and the first lady? === Common Sense Debris Removal (14:37) === [01:21:48] Number one, we have entered the dawn of a hot first lady, and we deserve this. [01:21:56] We deserve an amazingly gorgeous first lady who's bringing style back to the job. [01:22:02] Look at her in her green puffy coat, her tight jeans, her boots, her black beanie, and her aviators with her perfect lipstick and hair. [01:22:11] Trump, here he is on the helicopter, but when he is on Air Force One, he is using the big boy steps. [01:22:20] We've seen the return of a hot first lady and the return of the big boy steps to Air Force One, Batia. [01:22:26] And this is the first couple we deserve. [01:22:29] So they travel out west in style like grownups. [01:22:34] And by the way, Melania Trump was seen speaking to victims, I can't remember whether it was North Carolina or California, of one of those two tragedies in her native tongue in two different foreign languages. [01:22:45] She's reportedly fluid in six foreign languages, but the New York Times dismissed her as a mannequin. [01:22:51] Anyway, they go out there and Trump picks a fight with Mayor Karen Bass, which was absolutely beautiful. [01:22:58] This soundbite's a little long, but watch it play out. [01:23:01] They're arguing over how long it's going to take to clean up the fire damage in places like the Pacific Palisades. [01:23:08] So just so people can get back on their properties and get what might still be there, which there is in some cases some debris that's salvageable, see the damage, you know, survey. what's left so they can figure out their next move. [01:23:23] None of that's being allowed. [01:23:24] Watch. [01:23:25] But we are going to move as fast as we can, but we want you to be safe. [01:23:31] We want you to be back in your homes immediately. [01:23:34] But the people are willing to clean out their own debris. [01:23:36] It doesn't cost them. [01:23:37] And they can. [01:23:38] You should let them do it because by the time you hire contractors, it's going to be two years. [01:23:43] You can do some of it, but a lot of these people, I know that guy right there that's talking. [01:23:47] I know my people. [01:23:49] You'll be on that thing tonight throwing the stuff away and your site will be, it'll look perfect within 24 hours. [01:23:54] And that's what he wants to do. [01:23:56] He doesn't want to wait around for seven months till the city hires some demolition contract and then it's going to charge him $25,000 to do his lot. [01:24:05] I think you have to, you have emergency powers just like I do. [01:24:08] And I'm exercising my emergency powers. [01:24:11] You have to exercise them also. [01:24:13] I did exercise them because I looked. [01:24:15] If individuals want to clear out their property, they can. [01:24:21] That's not true. [01:24:22] Yes, but you know that you will be able to go back soon. [01:24:27] We think within a week. [01:24:31] That's a long time a week. [01:24:32] I'll be honest. [01:24:33] To me, everyone's standing in front of their house. [01:24:36] They want to go to work and they're not allowed to do it. [01:24:38] The people are all over the place. [01:24:39] They're standing and they say, why aren't you going in? [01:24:42] We're trying to get a permit and the permit's going to take them. [01:24:45] Everybody said 18 months. [01:24:47] You said 18 months. [01:24:48] You said 18 months. [01:24:50] Let me tell you something, Badia. [01:24:52] My dear friend whose house burned down in the Pacific Palisades, she's my one woke friend, but she's like, she's sane. [01:24:59] You know, I adore her. [01:25:02] She wanted to get back into her house. [01:25:04] You know why? [01:25:04] Because they have these little heart rocks that she and her kids have been collecting since the kids were babies. [01:25:11] You know, whatever place they went, they'd get the little, if they find a rock that looks like a heart, they collected it and they had it in a jar and it was on top of the mantle at the fireplace. [01:25:20] And they all really thought it could still be there. [01:25:22] Like that's one thing that might not have burned. [01:25:24] And it would give the girl something to have. [01:25:26] And nope, no, no. [01:25:29] You can't get anywhere. [01:25:30] Well, you know what? [01:25:31] She scaled a wall and she got in in a full hazmat outfit, but she managed to do it. [01:25:36] And she had to countermand the orders. [01:25:39] They were not letting her in. [01:25:40] She just did it. [01:25:42] And it's because of Karen Bass and this nonsense. [01:25:44] You can't get in. [01:25:45] There's a video in the Daily Mail today of a guy saying, I just want to drive by. [01:25:49] And you've got the soldiers or whoever's patrolling the area saying, we're not allowed. [01:25:53] LAPD is not allowing us. [01:25:55] Let anybody in there. [01:25:56] There's Trump with a hefty dose of common sense saying, just let them in. [01:26:01] A week is too long. [01:26:02] Some of the stuff will spoil if it managed to survive. [01:26:05] And the 18 months that they were arguing over, that's on camera too. [01:26:08] It is, I'll just show you this soundbite quickly. [01:26:10] The LA director of public works, Mark Pestrella, told Karen Bass and council members within the past week that it's going to take 18 months to clear the debris. [01:26:23] Now she sits there at that meeting with Trump and says it's not true that her director of public works says it is. [01:26:28] Here it is. [01:26:30] We know that the first phase takes, will take some time. [01:26:34] Phase one will take up to three months, maybe even longer, six months to get the toxics off. [01:26:40] At the same time that that is occurring, we will be coming behind you with the process of debris removal. [01:26:45] The debris removal can take up to 18 months, supervisor. [01:26:49] And I'm going to stop there because I want to make sure everybody hears that clearly. [01:26:53] I know we want to set expectations. [01:26:55] And I said at the beginning, I'm going to tell you what I know, when I know it. [01:26:58] We heard it clearly. [01:26:59] Two years until these people get their property back. [01:27:04] What do you think? [01:27:05] First of all, Megan, were the rocks there, the heart rocks? [01:27:08] Did she find them? [01:27:09] Yes, they were there. [01:27:10] And she salvaged them. [01:27:12] But they were about to be carted away, I guess, within two years' time by Karen Bass and, you know, her two-year plan to, you know, clear the area. [01:27:20] And it's like, look, if people want to go there and immerse themselves in toxins to try to salvage what they can, that's up to them. [01:27:27] Why is that not up? [01:27:28] It's like Big Brother tries to control everything. [01:27:31] They can do what my friend did, which is actually put on like a safety suit and a mask and risk it if what? [01:27:38] If it's really important to them, but big, big sister thinks she knows better. [01:27:43] And the whole town is saying, two years before you get your property back, I honestly, sitting watching Donald Trump sitting there and just calling her on her bs, I did not realize that a president could just do that, could just show up and say that is not true. [01:28:02] I know it's not true. [01:28:04] Why don't you tell the truth now? [01:28:05] Why don't you change this policy? [01:28:07] It's the most radical thing and it's so obvious and so simple. [01:28:13] You know, if that is all he accomplishes, of course we know he's doing much, much more than that. [01:28:18] But to just show up and say I am going to be the accountability here, this is utterly unacceptable. [01:28:24] Let these people into their homes. [01:28:26] Let's have a little common sense here. [01:28:28] Stop lying to me. [01:28:29] And it's so amazing how she says, you know, first she says they can go to their homes and he says no no, they can't. [01:28:34] And she says, well, they will be able to go to their homes. [01:28:37] Right, the immediate follow-up. [01:28:39] I mean this is really and truly powerful, powerful stuff. [01:28:44] And you made the the greatest point, which is, whether you're broke in Appalachia or rich in California, Donald Trump wants you to thrive, and that is what this presidency is going to be about. [01:28:57] There is um somebody on X named Eric Matheny who tweeted out the following, and I loved it. [01:29:02] I wrote it down, Trump is governing like a man who has been shot indicted, investigated and impeached and has zero fucks left to give. [01:29:12] It's glorious. [01:29:13] That's exactly right. [01:29:15] He's just he's saying it all. [01:29:18] So then Bacha, he gets in into a back and forth with this um California lawmaker named Brad Shurman, a Dem, who'd been giving him a hard time, because Trump said, you know what? [01:29:29] We want to give you federal relief, but I want two conditions met before you get it, and that is, number one, allow the water to flow to southern California, like i've been saying for years, so we can be insured that this, this isn't going to happen again. [01:29:42] And number two, you should require voter id in this state, where they seem to have an allergy to voter id. [01:29:48] So he's getting all this blowback like, how can you condition, you know, the the aid on voter id? [01:29:53] It's not fair, and Brad gave him some guff about that earlier in the meeting and then this exchange happens where Trump had thoughts for for Brad on the insurance situation out in California, SOT 7. [01:30:07] Mr. President, without your help, they're only going to get $43,000 from the federal government, even if they have a half-life. [01:30:14] You know, you did something, Brad, with every insurance company in the country left California. [01:30:19] That's why you have no insurance because you made it so impossible. [01:30:22] People that think like you made it so impossible. [01:30:26] And Brad, me, every insurance company, I don't know. [01:30:30] I don't know what my thinking. [01:30:32] I've never seen a state where almost nobody has insurance. [01:30:37] Here's a little more in SOT 8. [01:30:39] They continue. [01:30:41] There will be more fires until we include in any disaster relief items which will prevent it or at least mitigate it from happening again. [01:30:51] So you're going to see us proposing both of those. [01:30:55] Like water. [01:30:58] Little things like water for us. [01:30:59] You know, the party of common sense. [01:31:01] See, Brad, we're the party of common sense. [01:31:03] You're not, in all fairness. [01:31:05] Yes, sir. [01:31:06] We like water to put out fires. [01:31:07] It's really quite efficient. [01:31:09] Back to Brad. [01:31:11] But yeah, we keep hearing that, the party of common sense. [01:31:15] And Batia, for me, that really resonates because that's kind of how I've seen myself in media for a while. [01:31:22] Like, I don't, I'm not F you in your bigoted charges. [01:31:27] I don't want boys in girl sports. [01:31:30] That makes me commonsensical. [01:31:32] That's what that makes me, right? [01:31:33] Like Trump's leaning into this and he's 100% right, which is why he's got majority support on the immigration policies, on the trans policies. [01:31:42] Who the hell would disagree with we need water to fight fires? [01:31:46] Absolutely. [01:31:47] You're totally right, Megan. [01:31:49] The common sense theme is such an important one here in terms of understanding where Trump is coming from. [01:31:55] I will disagree with that tweet just a little bit. [01:31:57] I don't think he's governing like he has no F's to give. [01:32:01] I think he's governing like an assassin who spent the last four years developing a perfect plan and now is executing it executive order by executive order by executive order with a kind of confidence and a kind of sort of happy warrior attitude, knowing that he has the American people behind him. [01:32:24] And you're totally right. [01:32:25] You look at the polling and where Donald Trump is at and whether it's immigration or tariffs or gender issues or even abortion, this is where most Americans are at. [01:32:38] The vast majority of Americans are in the sort of radical moderate middle. [01:32:44] So people are pretty pro-gay. [01:32:46] They're pro-gay marriage. [01:32:48] They really like, you know, Scott Besent, the highest appointed gay out person in the history of this country, Trump appointee, right? [01:32:55] People like to see that, but they really don't like the trans agenda. [01:32:59] They really don't like it in schools. [01:33:01] They really don't like it in sports, right? [01:33:03] Common sense. [01:33:05] Treat every person with dignity. [01:33:07] Don't bring your mishagas into my child's classroom, right? [01:33:11] It's obvious, right? [01:33:12] Immigrants, yes, come here legally. [01:33:15] If you have something to contribute that we cannot get from somebody who's native born, sure. [01:33:20] But if there is a person being left in Appalachia, a brilliant child who's not getting an opportunity or a kid in the inner city who's not getting access to that opportunity, how dare you? [01:33:30] The presumption that you're going to come and benefit from the glory of this nation when we haven't lifted up our own neighbors, forget about that. [01:33:39] Mass deportations. [01:33:40] You came here illegally. [01:33:42] You broke the law. [01:33:43] You are a criminal. [01:33:44] We don't owe you anything. [01:33:45] You don't have constitutional rights. [01:33:47] This is where the vast majority of Americans are at. [01:33:50] And it is not an accident that it is where Donald Trump is at. [01:33:54] Yeah, get out. [01:33:55] I have to take a break, but quick, quick soundbite on Trump and his sense of humor, the happy warrior. [01:34:01] I saw something this weekend you almost never see Donald Trump laughing. [01:34:08] He smiles a lot. [01:34:10] He's very generous with a smile, but he almost never laughs. [01:34:13] It's actually kind of interesting. [01:34:14] I noticed it during the campaign when that hyena was on the other side with her very strange laugh at everything, the cackle, so bad that they had to reel it in, selling her, never laugh. [01:34:23] Trump just naturally, he's not a laugher. [01:34:25] He's a more serious guy. [01:34:26] He's got a sense of humor, but he's just not like prone to laughter. [01:34:29] Well, it happened, and it actually was funny. [01:34:31] He was doing a bit on how he's returning phone calls of world leaders like that or calling or picking up the phone when they call, unlike Joe Biden. [01:34:39] And all these leaders are shocked that they've gotten him on the phone. [01:34:42] Watch. [01:34:43] Our country was on the verge of some of the very bad things and bad things were happening. [01:34:48] And now there's light not only over America. [01:34:50] I've heard it from even our enemies. [01:34:52] They call up and they say, sir, we hate you. [01:34:55] We do hate you, but there's light over the world. [01:34:58] They hate me. [01:34:59] Some of them hate me. [01:35:00] If they like to be, you got a problem, right? [01:35:02] I was told today by one of the big leaders of the world, would call for a telephone call with the president of the United States a year ago. [01:35:11] And they'd say, we'd like to speak with, who is this? [01:35:15] It's the head of Germany, the head of its name, the head of France, the name of any country, it didn't matter. [01:35:24] He would never pick up the call. [01:35:26] Next month, they're so used to this, right? [01:35:28] I say, no, I'll pick it up right now. [01:35:29] Is he on the phone? [01:35:30] Yeah, hello. [01:35:31] How you doing? [01:35:33] That's what, you know, get it over with, right? [01:35:37] Get it over with. [01:35:40] The only problem, they were so starved for love from the United States. [01:35:45] I cannot get them off the phone. [01:35:46] I can't get people.
