Tomorrow is Election Day in New York, which might elect its first Muslim communist mayor, even as the polls are tightening up in the home stretch and President Trump weighs in.
The elections in New York, in New Jersey, in Virginia, and elsewhere will set the stage for the midterms in 2028.
The Democrat Party's reputation is in the doldrums, as even CNN has to admit.
But even with such historically bad political fundamentals, the Democrats have one last trick up their sleeves.
On Friday, a federal judge ruled that President Trump cannot exclude illegal aliens from voting.
I'm Michael Knowles.
This is the Michael Knowles Show.
Welcome back to the show.
Will the real Zoron Mum Donnie please stand up?
Who is Zoron?
Is he a radical leftist?
Is he a Muslim?
Does he sound like a millennial New Yorker?
Does he sound like some kind of Ugandan?
That's not a good Ugandan accent.
We'll get to Zoron's ever-changing accents momentarily first, though.
I want to tell you about Bolin Branch.
Go to Bolinbranch.com slash Knowles.

Exclusions apply.
So Zoron, a chameleon, a political chameleon who might take over New York, though the polls are tightening dramatically.
I'm not going to say it's a dead heat.
That's not true.
But with the momentum, it really might end up being a dead heat by the end of today.
Voting is tomorrow.
Zoron makes his last pitch to New Yorkers.
Here's the commercial.
I think many people are going to look at that and say, wow, that's AI.
Those racist Republicans are making Zohran seem like a foreigner, only appealing to foreigners, doesn't speak English.
It's not AI.
That's a real ad.
That's a real ad.
And he made it to appeal to foreign-born New Yorkers, New Yorkers, can you even say New Yorkers?
Who they don't primarily speak English.
He's appealing to Arabic kind of memes and customs and behaviors and language.
And you know what, kids?
That's politics.
People are really attacking him for this.
And they say he's not, you know, in the melting pot, and he's a hyphenated American.
And he's, well, you, we shouldn't behave this way, and he shouldn't be appealing to these voters.
Well, you know what?
Appealing to these voters might very well get him elected mayor of New York, even as a Muslim communist.
So that's politics.
Politics is appealing to people based on real or perceived similarities.
That's what politics is.
It's been going on for a long time.
It's been going on with the Irish, the English, and the Italians and the Jews and the Mexicans and everybody.
And now it's going on with the Arabs.
And you know why?
Because we imported a bunch of people from the Middle East and South Asia and parts of Africa.
And if you don't like that kind of politics, then don't import people from those areas.
But don't demand that politics be something other than it is.
If you're upset that Zoran Mamdani is not campaigning on apple pie and fireworks on the 4th of July, if you're upset that he's not campaigning on traditional aspects of Americana, or at the very least, traditional aspects of being a New Yorker, I don't know, New York Yankees, pizza.
If you're upset by that, then, well, I guess we shouldn't have imported the rest of the world.
But when you import the rest of the world and you tell them not to assimilate, and you do it in such huge numbers that really they couldn't assimilate anyway, then don't expect them to campaign in any other way.
I think the Zoron campaign is a big wake-up call, not just to the right, but to the center and to parts of the center left to say, oh, yikes, we thought this mass migration was fine.
We thought everyone would just assimilate.
We thought, I'm talking to the cynical Democrats here, we thought that we could just like bring them in and take their votes and it wouldn't affect our way of life at all.
But now it feels like we're walking around Karachi.
Hmm, maybe that's not ideal.
It's not just the foreigners, though.
Zoran Mamdani would not be mayor of New York without the foreign-born vote.
That's simply a fact.
Cuomo would be the mayor of New York if you took out foreign-born voters.
But it's not just the foreigners.
It's also liberal white ladies like this.
One of the reasons I moved here is because I wanted to be surrounded by people who are not like me.
I wanted to hear seven different languages every day when I walked down the street.
And I'll speak for myself personally.
I hope that our next mayor will be somebody who can protect our way of life here in New York and protect and fight for the things that we want and stand up to those who want to take things away from us, those who want to defund us.
And because all of those things will make all of our current problems so much worse, I want to have somebody who will stand up to what might be coming for us.
Okay.
She checks almost every box.
This short kind of silly haircut, wearing a men's jacket, describing how she moved to New York from somewhere else.
She was dissatisfied with her hometown.
You know, her hometown, it just wasn't creative enough for her.
It's too conformist, man.
She wanted to move to New York to be with her real people.
You know, she just wants diversity.
She wants to walk down the street here in seven different languages.
You know, maybe a little sex in the city.
At the very least, we're going to live like in Friends.
Oh, when she was a kid, she watched all those episodes of Friends, a big city.
She just knew that was for her.
Not her stuffy hometown with her dumb dad and the safety of suburbia.
No, absolutely not.
And then what?
She goes on and she says, she's describing her choice for mayor.
She just speaks in a bunch of platitudes.
I just want someone to defend us and our way of life.
What is our way of life?
Our way of life is diversity.
And I want to stop the bad things and do the good things.
She is apparently, and I know that I'm engaging in a little bit of psycho babble here, but forgive me.
Her answer, I won't say her, her answer is both frivolous and resentful.
And that typifies liberal politics, especially the liberal politics of bougie-looking white women.
Both frivolous and resentful.
There is the politics of the supposedly aggrieved minority, which is mostly resentful.
There is the politics of like hippie children that's mostly frivolous.
Hers is a little bit frivolous and resentful.
And I'm not sure which one is more dangerous.
I am someone who spent the first 24 years of his life in and around New York within a commuter train ride of Grand Central Station.
Okay.
From the time I was born to I moved to California at 24.
And this happens all the time.
There are these people that they move into New York and they just have this sitcom image of New York, this TV show image of New York.
And they move in from all around the country and increasingly they move in from all around the world, which is why the foreign-born vote is probably going to elect Zoran Mamdani mayor if the polls don't tighten more today.
But the thing about that view, the thing about the sitcom view of New York is that it's a sitcom.
It's TV.
It's Hollywood.
It's divorced from reality.
You know what they don't show that lady on Sex in the City?
You know what they don't show that lady on Friends?
They don't show a Guatemalan illegal alien lighting a woman on fire in the subway.
Okay.
They don't show what happens when far leftists are elected mayor and the city falls to pot and there's crime everywhere and people are getting murdered everywhere and you can't go to Times Square and you got to elect Rudy Giuliani and it takes 10 years to fix the city.
They don't show you that.
But that's what's going to happen.
And this lady is going to be the first person to flee.
Frivolous and resentful.
Only a frivolous culture could even consider electing Zoran Mamdani.
Only a resentful culture would actually do it.
But who are they electing if they elect Zoron?
Who are they electing?
Who is Zoran Mamdani?
We'll get to the ever-changing Zoron first, though.
I want to tell you about Catholic Match.
Go to catholicmatch.com.
You know what gives me hope, even when our culture seems to be spiraling at times?
Faith-filled families raising kids who can turn things around.
Here's the thing.
That cannot happen if faithful Catholics are not getting married and having babies.
I keep hearing from young people about how genuinely difficult it is to find other serious Catholics today.
Well, there's no magic solution here, but I've gotten to know the team at Catholic Match, and I can tell you they're doing something different.
They are focused on sacramental marriage, not hookups, not endless swiping, actual marriage.
They are the largest and most trusted Catholic dating app out there.
They've built real tools to help people make meaningful connections.
Their profiles go deep into what actually matters, your faith, where you stand on important stuff, liturgical preference, maybe the traditional Latin Mass, I would recommend.
They offer live events for premium members so you can connect in person, not just through a screen.
It's really, really important.
If the apps dominate the dating scene, you got to do it the right way.
If you're looking, or if you've tried it before and you gave up and you just don't think it can work out, hey, God's providence might just surprise you.
Download the app right now or head to CatholicMatch.com and find your forever.
So a clip has come up of Zoron Mamdani not that long ago.
You know, he's got a beard in this video.
It's not like he was 12 years old.
He's got a beard in this video.
He's on some radio station, Kaya FM959.
Listen to the likely future mayor of New York.
You know, I'm from Uganda, but I also grew up in New York.
In New York, you don't really, you know, you go out.
Some guys are very hesitant to dance.
You know, if they're not grinding, they're just standing.
In Kampala, you will just not find that.
Okay, here is Zoron speaking like five seconds later.
I will be your Democratic nominee for the mayor of New York City.
That's impressive.
You know, people would knock Hillary Clinton because she'd go out on the trail and she'd speak like, yes, that's my best Hillary impression.
But then every so often, if she was speaking to a black crowd or a southern crowd, she'd pull off that, you know, I don't feel no way's tired.
I've come too far.
And it was implausible.
Zoron is much more persuasive.
Oh, well, you know, the thing about, I can't do whatever, I guess that's a Ugandan accent.
The thing about people is they don't want to dance.
And now I'm just doing a Sebgorka impression.
I don't know.
I can't do it.
I can't do it.
He can do it, though.
He can do an ethnically ambiguous kind of Ugandan African slash South Asian accent.
And then he can do a pretty persuasive New York accent.
And we don't know who we're getting.
All politicians to some degree do this.
I really don't even knock them for it.
It's one of the skills of being a politician is you are able to speak to different groups of people.
And you're so gullible in a way.
You're so in tune with what people are feeling, with the pathos of the DMOS that you don't even notice when you code switch.
I actually don't even knock politicians for it.
I think it's more a feature than a bug of being a politician.
You're supposed to do it in a way that doesn't make you look too-faced and duplicitous, but it is part of the job.
Who are they getting, though?
Are they getting the Muslim extremist?
Are they getting the LGBT queer liberation extremist?
He's tweeted about that.
Are they getting a communist?
Are they getting a New Yorker?
Are they getting a Ugandan?
Who are they getting?
Who are they getting?
We don't know.
We might soon find out, though, and it's pretty scary to think about.
So scary that President Trump is weighing in on his hometown's mayoral race.
And he's doing something that many people did not think would be possible.
He's kind of endorsing a Democrat.
But what if Mondami becomes mayor?
It's going to be hard for me as the president to give a lot of money to New York because if you have a communist running New York, all you're doing is wasting the money you're sending there.
So I don't know that he's one, and I'm not a fan of Cuomo one way or the other.
But if it's going to be between a bad Democrat and a communist, I'm going to pick that bad Democrat all the time, to be honest with you.
So what Trump is describing here is the Buckley rule, named after William F. Buckley Jr., a great man who said that in any election, you should vote for the most right, viable candidate.
The candidate who is most to the right, but could still plausibly win a race.
And right now in the New York mayoral race, you have Zohon Mamdani leading, followed by Andrew Cuomo, a terrible governor of New York, terrible Democrat, just awful, lit up the Freedom Tower in pink to celebrate killing babies, like horrible, horrible politician.
Lied about COVID, tried to pretend that he was the great hero of COVID, got run out of the party and run out of office on punitively on a sexual harassment scandal, but it was really just because of his embarrassing performance in the actual job.
He's just awful.
I'm clearly not doing a great job at motivating the get out the vote effort for the Cuomo campaign.
But the only other candidate is Curtis Sleewa, who's a great guy.
I really like Curtis Sleewa.
He is the founder of the Guardian Angels.
The guys who it was in the 70s, 80s would go onto the subways when crime was really spiking in New York and clean it up as civilians.
And they're great.
I mean, he's a great guy, but he's not going to win.
And so Trump is coming out and he's saying, look, Sleewa's not going to win.
So I guess I would vote for Cuomo.
He's essentially an endorsement of Cuomo.
I'm glad I'm not in New York right now that I don't have to make that choice.
But there are two schools of thought on this, especially from the right.
The one is, yeah, democracy is the theory that the common man knows what he wants and deserves to get it good and hard.
Let those New Yorkers suffer this Muslim communist.
He's going to destroy the city, serve some right.
Screw them.
That's why I moved out of New York.
They're going to realize the error of their ways.
Maybe they'll come around.
Even if they don't, who cares?
That's one school of thought.
The other school of thought is, actually, we don't want a communist running New York or America's greatest city.
Actually, that would be bad for us because our cities are part of our country.
And we don't want that.
I do care for my fellow Americans and I would like to visit New York at some point.
And I don't want a communist there.
And of the two, you know, I tend to lean more toward the latter.
I am not libertarian.
I'm not individualist.
I don't want to watch parts of the country burn just to prove a point.
I'm not one of these people who wants to lose in a principled way because then we can prove how right we were.
I want to win.
I want to win.
I want the good guys to get more power and to do more good with the power.
And I want the bad guys to lose power.
And I recognize that politics is a practical art.
It's not a theoretical science.
It's practical.
And sometimes you got to sometimes you got to play the hand you're dealt.
I'm going to stop short of what Trump did.
Trump came out and he basically said, I'd vote for Cuomo.
I'm going to stop short of that.
I just can't bring myself to do it.
And I take it as one of the great strokes of providence that I don't have to make that decision.
But I don't want New York to burn.
And there's no question.
If the entire Curtis Sleewa vote voted for Cuomo, Cuomo would clobber Mamdani.
It wouldn't be close.
Now, you might say, forget about that, because Mamdani is going to win anyway.
And I want to show that Republicans actually have some juice in New York.
Okay, I would agree with that if the polls were not closing.
It's pretty tight.
There is a world in which Momdani is not the next mayor of New York.
I'm not saying it's likely, but it's possible.
Another race that's closing up, it's really, really, it's legitimately a dead heat is the New Jersey gubernatorial election.
This is, I don't even know what the Democrat's name is.
What's her name?
Mikey Sherrill versus Jack Chattarelli.
Chattarelli is about as good as you're going to get in a blue state like New Jersey or New York.
You know, he's a little squishy on certain issues as a Republican, but he's really strong on others.
He's really strong on others.
And you got to grain on a curve a little bit in these states because if you run the most rock-ribbed right-wing Republican, he's going to get blown out of the water.
By New Jersey standards, this guy's pretty good.
This guy's more than pretty good.
And it's a tied race.
It's 50.2, the Democrat to 49.3.
Obviously, well within the margin of error.
How is that going to happen?
Because don't forget, guys, we won the presidency last year.
So what happens, usually when one party wins the presidency, then in the midterms or even in certain elections before the midterms, they get blown out of the water.
That's just the way things swing.
That's what everyone was expecting.
That's what all the genius political consultants are expecting to happen in the midterms next year.
And the thing that I've been trying to hammer home for over a year now, really for considerably longer than that, is that past is not precedent.
You cannot, prior performance is not indicative of future results, okay, because we're kind of through the looking glass.
Trump is serving a non-consecutive second term.
We've only seen that happen one other time in American history.
The Democrats tried to imprison him four different times and justified his assassination, which very nearly occurred one time and less nearly, but still almost occurred a second time.
We are in a completely new world, okay?
And we might win the New Jersey governorship.
And who knows?
The Republicans are not going to win the mayoralty in New York, but the far-left candidate might get blown out of the water.
And who knows?
Maybe the Republicans will hold the House in the midterms, and maybe the Republicans will hold the Senate.
And maybe politics has just changed.
Why?
Why could that have happened?
Obviously, certain facts on the ground have changed, the prosecutions and the fact that Biden was senile and everyone lied about it and so on and so forth.
The cumulative effect of that is that the Democrat Party's reputation is as bad today, actually considerably worse, than it has been in my lifetime.
Don't take my word for it.
Listen to CNN.
Democrats at this point are historically divided.
It is a complete and utter mess.
It is messier than a hoarder's basement.
What are we talking about here?
The national early poll leader, 25% plus.
Normally, that's where Democrats are.
Biden was 25% plus in 2020.
Hillary Clinton was in 08 and 16.
Gore was in 00 and 04.
At this particular point, there is no one, no one in the Democratic race for president who's polling at 25% plus.
The water is quite warm.
If you're a Democrat potentially thinking about running in 2028, jump right in because at this point, there is no frontrunner.
Is that what do you think?
Is that because how people view the Democratic Party right now?
Is that contributing to this?
Yeah, I think that that is in large part of what's going on is one of the reasons why there is no frontrunner.
Nobody wants to put anybody up at the top of their ballot list is because at this particular point, the Democratic brand is in the basement.
It is total and complete garbage in the mind of the American public.
Total and complete garbage in the mind of the public.
So says the CNN pollster.
Look at the approved, disapproved.
They're underwater by 26, 30 points in all of the major polls.
They don't have a candidate for president.
320 million Americans, something like that.
Who knows how many illegals in the country?
And they can't find one person.
Notice in the numbers cited there, it's not that it was always the eventual nominee who was leading the pack, who was at 25% by this time in the election cycle.
It was Gore 2000, but also Gore 2004 had ended up going to John Kerry.
It was Hillary in 08, ended up going to Barack Obama.
Then it did go to Hillary in 16.
But it was Biden, and Biden ultimately did get it.
But at least they had someone.
It'd be one thing if they said, you know, the leading candidate right now is Bernie.
You know, isn't that Bernie?
Okay, he's just too old and he's too probably too radical and there's no chance.
But he said, well, at least they have someone.
At least there's some cohesion to their party.
At least there's some direction.
At least there's some leadership.
They don't have any of that.
They don't have any of that.
And why?
Because they followed their slogans to their logical conclusions and their logical conclusions were deeply unpopular.
A lot of this, a lot of this is still the hangover of the Democrats embracing sexually mutilating children.
I know that was like a really hot cultural issue that we all talked about ad nauseum.
And then the Democrats kind of backed off it.
Now it seems almost dated because we won the issue.
We did win the issue.
Don't forget how we got here.
The Democrats said they wanted to sexually mutilate children based on the new age spiritual belief, Gnostic notion that a boy can really secretly be a girl.
The Democrat Party embraced that.
The whole party at every level, all the way up to the most supposedly moderate mainstream people.
And I'm just using that as one particularly egregious example.
But you can see it on a whole host of issues.
The Democrat Party broadly embraced the notion that borders are evil and we need to flood the country with face-tatooed Guatemalan gangsters.
Okay.
And they said that to Middle America.
They said that to Peoria.
They said, you're racist and evil if you don't want a bunch of Venezuelan killer drug dealers coming into your daughter's school.
They said that, all of them said that.
They, on issue after issue, said white people are evil.
They said men are evil.
They just said that basically explicitly.
And now, believe it or not, their brand is in the doldrum.
Why is CNN admitting this?
I'll tell you, is it because CNN got honest all of a sudden?
I don't think so.
I mean, I don't know.
I get a kick out of this pollster.
Maybe he's more honest than most of them there.
But I'll tell you why they're saying this, because CNN suffered its own kind of reputational collapse after 2024 election.
After the 2024 election, their ratings collapsed, as did the other left-wing networks' ratings.
Why?
It's not because conservatives tuned out.
It's because the left tuned out.
And the left tuned out because they got lied to because they realized that what was being aired on those networks was worthless.
So they brought some consequences to the networks.
The networks have no other choice.
What else are they going to say?
So they're now entertaining, trying to grapple a little bit with reality, and the reality is absolutely brutal for the Dems.
Now, the Dems have one last trick up their sleeves, which we'll get to in one second.
First, I want to tell you about ExpressVPN.
Go to expressvpn.com slash Knowles.
Do you think anyone knows you better than you know yourself?
Well, someone does.
If you have a smartphone or a laptop, there are thousands of data brokers tracking everything you do online, where you shop, who you talk to, even your deepest beliefs, and they're packaging it all up and selling it to anyone willing to pay.
Marketers, political campaigns, you name it.
So what can you do?
You could go off the grid completely or you could protect yourself with ExpressVPN.
Here's how it works.
Companies track you through your IP address, your unique identifier online.
ExpressVPN gives you a new IP address that's shared with other users, so your activity cannot be traced back to you.
It encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through secure servers, making everything you do completely private.
Even your internet provider cannot see what you're up to, which matters because in the U.S., ISPs are legally allowed to sell your browsing history to data brokers.
You can connect to the nearest server automatically or pick from 105 countries if you want a specific location.
Works on any device, one click and an internet connection.
That's all you need.
Really, really simple.
I love it, especially because I travel a lot.
Right now, you can get four extra months of ExpressVPN for free.
You go to expressvpn.com slash Knolls, Kenneth W-L-A-S, to learn more.
That's exp-r-e-s-s-v-p-n.com slash knolls to reclaim your privacy today.
Folks, I'm so, so excited about this.
The Lux Adventus candle set for Advent at thecandleclub.com slash Michael.
We've already sold out basically everything that we had planned to sell at.
We still have time to make more before Advent, but it's going to be tight, so you should order it now.
The culture wants you to skip straight to Christmas.
They want you, I saw that, I was at the mall this weekend with my kids.
They had Christmas stuff up at the mall.
They want you to decorate your house in November.
They want you to play Mariah Carey before Thanksgiving.
They want you to exhaust yourself with consumption and call it celebration.
In Christianity, we say first the fast, then the feast.
Modern culture says first the feast, then the hangover.
I'm proposing something radical.
What if we observed Advent?
The Lux Adventus candle set is our answer to the chaos.
Four candles, three violet, one rose, following the ancient liturgical calendar.
We meditate on the last four things, the four last things in Advent.
That's death, judgment, heaven, and hell.
Think about this as we approach and anticipate the coming of our Lord.
This is hand-poured in America with beeswax, just like the ancient tradition.
Scented with pine, eucalyptus, and cypress, housed in beautiful vessels.
This box set is now available in the collection at the Candle Club.
It's about more than candles.
It's about reclaiming your home as a domestic church, teaching your children that we don't celebrate Christmas on the world's timeline.
We prepare for it on the churches.
Light shines in the darkness.
The darkness cannot overcome it.
Even when the darkness is wearing a Santa Hatton blasting Christmas music in October.
Have I made my point?
Order the LuxAdventus candle set at thecandleclub.com slash Michael.
Demand was high.
As I mentioned, we sold out of our initial stock.
You're in luck.
We are taking orders for this extremely popular Advent candle set.

So you have to order now.
Today, I can tell you it will arrive.
But our poor indentured servant that we have just pouring candles all day long to meet up with the demand cannot extend indefinitely.
So head on over right now, thecandleclub.com slash Michael.
Democrats have one last trick, one last trick, as their brand is in the gutter, as they don't have any front-runner candidates, as one of the best candidates they can field is a Muslim communist.
The trick is to stop Trump from tightening up election integrity.
President Trump, to hear the Democrats talk about it, Trump is instituting poll taxes and banning everyone who isn't rich uncle penny bags from casting a ballot.
What is Trump actually doing?
It's a pretty modest request.
Trump wants proof of citizenship to be a requirement for voting in federal elections.
That's it, not even state elections, not even local elections.
He's not even saying that illegals can't vote in those, they should not vote in those elections, but he's not saying that he has the power really to stop it.
All he says is so modest.
saying, hey, can we, when it comes to federal elections, can we require just like some proof that you're actually a citizen?
And a federal judge has said no.
U.S. District Judge Colleen Coller-Cotelli in Washington, D.C., sided with the Dems against President Trump's executive order on voter ID, ruled that proof, this proof of citizenship directive is an unconstitutional violation of the separation of powers.
Listen to the reasoning here.
It's an unconstitutional violation of the separation of powers because, quote, our Constitution assigns responsibility for election regulation to the states and to Congress.
This court holds that the president lacks the authority to direct such changes.
Okay.
So you see, it's the best argument that the left can make as to why the federal government can't say that you need to be a citizen to vote in federal elections.
And the best argument is purely on procedural grounds to say, well, really, it's supposed to be the states and at the federal level, at least Congress that directs these changes.
And since the directive is coming out of the White House, technically speaking, you know, that might be outside the bounds of the Constitution or something.
It's still a stupid argument.
It's still complete nonsense, but it's the most plausible version.
However, that's like saying that the president has no right to require that squares have four equal sides.
You see the difference?
It's not that the Trump White House is changing the way elections are to be conducted exactly.
The Trump White House is merely clarifying something that is intrinsic to voting, much as having four equal sides is intrinsic to the nature of a square.
Trump is not saying that if you want to vote in federal elections, you have to wear a blue polo shirt to the polls.
That would be a change.
All he is doing is clarifying that you have to be a citizen to vote.
There is nothing wrong with him saying that or doing that.
There is nothing special about Congress that says that only Congress can make that observation.
Adrian Vermeule, a much cited thinker, he's a law professor at Harvard, one of the only normal ones.
He's frequently mentioned on this show because he had a great response to this.
He said, the reason that this judgment is stupid has nothing to do with some this or that interpretation of the positive law.
It's because this judgment contradicts the nature of a republic.
If a polity cannot state that only its citizens can vote in an election, then the polity is not in any meaningful sense a real political community.
Because then foreigners can vote.
There's really nothing holding it together as a political community.
Really, it's a clever judgment, but it's a dumb judgment.
Yes, the president has the right, even though he's not a member of Congress, even though he's only the president of the United States, popularly elected as a Republican for the first time in 20 years, even he has the right to observe and to clarify that only citizens get to vote in federal elections.
He even has the right to say that squares must have four equal sides.
This is their best shot.
And I think, you know, the Democrats have told us for years, voter fraud is fake and it's not real.
And we say, oh, good, if it's not real, then let's require proof of citizenship.
And they say, well, no, no, no, we can't have that.
Previously, they were still up on certain issues, or they still had certain charismatic candidates.
Barack Obama, he might be the last one they had.
No, they've had some others.
And on certain issues, they were doing well.
Now they're on the wrong side of virtually every 80-20 issue.
They don't have any candidates.
They don't have any frontrunners for 2028.
They've got nothing.
The only thing they have is voter fraud right now.
And federal judges are doing their very best to keep it in place.
Now, speaking about the Democrats having trouble connecting with voters, I'm going to show you a post that is shocking but not surprising.
This is from Planned Parenthood.
Posted just a picture.
Looks like a fun, you know, retro hippie 60s picture.
And it says, it's roughly in the shape of a woman's pelvis.
It says, you can get as many abortions as you need and want.
Planned Parenthood standing 10 toes down.
It's got a salute sign.
You can get as many abortions as you need and want.
This is a change to left-wing messaging on abortion, which used to sound like this, care of Hillary Clinton.
We can support a woman's right to choose that makes abortion safe, legal, and rare, and reduces the number of abortions.
Do you remember that?
Some of our listeners are going to be too young.
They were but a glint in their father's eye when Hillary Clinton was running for president, 08.
And this was her line.
Abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.
Trying to find this middle ground on abortion, to say, no, we defend legal abortion, but we don't like abortion.
So we don't want there to be a lot of abortion, but we need it to be legal and we need it to be easy, you know, safe to say.
And the problem with that view is that it never made any sense and it was always going to lead to the Planned Parenthood post.
Women can have as many abortions as they want.
Just a reminder, girls, you can go out and kill as many kids as you want.
And the reason why is that ideas themselves have momentum.
And the idea that was embraced by Hillary Clinton is that it's okay to kill your kid.
It's okay to kill your kid.
There's nothing really wrong with it.
And she added a little coda to it.
She said, but you shouldn't do it too often.
But the coda contradicted the thesis that she was advancing, namely that it's okay to kill your kid.
There's nothing really wrong with it.
It should be legal and it should be accessible.
It should be safe, simple, efficient, but rare, but easy and definitely legal.
Because that was unstable.
It was always going to get to that point.
Either it was going to cease to be legal or it was going to be cease to be rare.
And now you've seen the sides clarified.
The conservatives, having overruled Roe v.
Wade, now are very clear this should not be legal at virtually any stage.
And the libs are saying it should not be rare.
Okay.
I mentioned this, one, because it's abhorrent and you should see these people for what they are.
Whenever someone says, oh, I think abortion should be safe, legal, and rare.
I'm personally opposed to abortion, but I think it needs to be legal.
What they're saying is, I'm fine with murdering little babies, but I'm too much of a coward to admit it.
That's all they're saying.
I'm actually worse than Planned Parenthood, because at least Planned Parenthood is telling you what they really think, namely that it's cool to kill as many kids as possible.
And the Hillary's of the world and the Mario Cuomos of the world, that line, you know, I'm personally opposed to abortion, but I think it should be legal.
That was Andy Cuomo's father who came up with that line.
The guy who is the best hope to avoid a Muslim communist in New York shows you how pitiful the situation in New York is.
But in any case, it never made sense and it was always going to end up this way.
I mention it not only to point that out about abortion, but to remind you that holds true of other issues as well.
And there's something that I've been pointing out for 10 years.
When all the genius right-wing pundits and the thought leaders and the politicians said, oh, abortion's over.
Or sorry, the marriage issue is over.
We lost.
Move on.
Y'all, you heard this from Republicans, from so-called conservatives, even so-called principled conservatives.
Oh, we lost.
You know, we're going to adopt a libertarian view on marriage now.
You can redefine it however you want.
It's not my business.
Don't make me pay for it.
We lost.
It's over.
And I was one of the people who said, you know, actually, I don't think we did lose.
I mean, we've had a setback, but marriage is not just some aspect of the positive law.
Marriage is not just some fad.
It's the pre-political institution, the building block of all of politics and part of human nature and the natural law because man is inclined to live in an ordered society and we're a coupling creature.
So I don't think it's just going to go away.
And I think when people recognize the conclusion, the logical conclusion of the absurd idea of same-sex marriage, they're going to return to normal.
That was my thesis.
You know how much I hate to say I told you so.
But look what's happened.
You've seen a collapse in support for same-sex marriage.
I think approval of same-sex marriage is now at 54%.
It's still quite high, but it's way down from what it was.
Why?
Because ideas have their own momentum.
So the feminist idea that men and women are the same led to the gay rights movement, so-called, that said that men and women are the same, which led to redefining marriage, which said that men and women are the same.
So if men and women are the same, then a man and a woman in a union is the same as a man and a man is the same as a woman and a woman.
And I think a lot of people would have been happy to stop there, but the ideas have momentum.
And so the idea kept going.
I said, well, if men and women are the same, then a man can become a woman.
That's the transgender idea.
If men and women are the same and a union of two men is the same as a man and a woman, then two men need to be able to have a baby.
Now, two men can't have a baby together.
If you took seventh grade biology class, you know that.
So that means that two men, in order to have their equal rights, because they're married.
They're married.
Just like even though matrimony comes from the word mater, which means mother, and there are no mothers involved in it.
No, they're married just as surely as Jim and Sally down the street are married.
So they have a right to a baby.
And so we need to open some baby stores.
And we need to create a market for men to buy the eggs of women and then gestate a baby in another woman and then intentionally create a child to deprive him of his natural mother.
And we have to do that for them to have their equal rights.
And then once the kid comes out, we need to let the kid pick his sex and become the opposite sex.
Then we need to sexually mutilate the kid.
All of that comes from the same idea.
And so I pointed out when the transing the kids thing was the straw that broke the camel's back, really destroyed the Dem's reputation.
I said, we're not just going to stop there.
Now that the idea is moving the other direction, the momentum is going to continue in the other direction.
Do not be surprised when Obergefell is overruled.
Do not be surprised.
You should celebrate, but regardless, even if you like Obergefell, even if you like the notion of same-sex marriage, do not be surprised.
Okay.
Speaking of nasty feminism, Wanda Sykes has said something quite ugly and probably illegal at the Power of Women Awards.
We'll get to that momentarily.

My favorite comment on Friday from Jesse 8A10, excellent, excellent timing because we're talking about the Power of Women Awards, which is also the dinner to which Sidney Sweeney wore the translucent dress said, that dress is not conservative at all.
Yeah, no, look, again, I'm not saying that showing up half-naked to dinner is like would make Russell Kirk smile.
You know, I'm not saying it's the conservatism of your grandparents.
I'm just saying that in an age so fallen as ours, so perversely left-wing as ours, relatively, it is kind of conservative because Sidney Sweeney is very good-looking, not grotesque-looking like the people on the left make themselves to be.
And she is highlighting her, shall we say, very feminine features, which is quite politically incorrect.
And she is actually a Republican.
Reportedly, she's a registered Republican.
And she's saying the power of women lies to a large degree in their bodies.
It's biological.
It's maternal, which is true.
So that's my Straussian reading of the Sydney Sweeney dress.
Look, I'm not saying, yeah, it doesn't need to go in the compendium of great conservative thought next to Edmund Burke and DeNosa Cortez.
Okay, I'm just saying it's more right-wing than the other stuff.
Okay, so at the Power of Women Awards, Sidney Sweeney was not the only person speaking.
Would that she had been, but Wanda Sykes showed up.
Wanda Sykes, a comedian of sorts, very left-wing.
She gets up there and she just goes off on how much she hates hiring men and white people.
When it comes to a position and I look on the paper and they right there or she might be right here and he's up there, I'm hiring the woman.
And that's just how I operate.
And I'm beyond, if she's a black woman, oh, I ain't, I ain't, girl, you got the job.
Girl, you got the job.
So what she's describing is literally illegal, though it happens a lot.
And it is what DEI is.
But I guess she's trying to tell a joke, but I think she's being pretty serious there.
I don't think she's just kidding.
I think she's serious about that.
And can I say something controversial?
Can I say something that could get me in trouble?
It's kind of human nature.
I don't know that she's totally, it's illegal what she's talking about, but I get it.
It's human nature.
It is human nature to like people who are similar to you.
This is complicated by problems of mimetic desire, by the rivalries between brothers, between, it's not the be all and end all of the story.
But broadly speaking, I'll just, this is a fact of politics.
We cooperate better with people who are like us.
And that's all she's saying.
She's saying, I prefer women to men and black people to white people.
And I prefer black women most of all.
And even if there is someone who is more qualified for the job on paper, more impressive in an interview, I will pick the person who is more like me than the person who is more different from me.
That's what she's saying.
And that is human nature.
It's human nature.
So where does that leave us?
Does that mean that white people should just hire white people and black people should just hire black people and women should just hire women or whatever?
No.
I don't think so.
I don't think that would be most conducive to human flourishing.
However, what it means is that we need to establish some basis of similarity in the country.
That's really what that means.
The only way to grapple with the obvious fact of human nature that Wanda Sykes is unwittingly describing, namely that we like people, we're inclined to like people who are similar to us.
The only way to grapple with that in a diverse nation is, well, one, maybe to put some official pressures on uniformity, like reducing mass migration and reducing all of the push for multiculturalism and all the rest of it.
But even just within the people who are already here, we need to focus on areas of unity.
We need to push for a greater religious cohesion, certainly.
And we need to exclude people who undermine the religious foundation of the polity.
We need to push for more common behaviors and habits and common culture, which has frayed with the decentralization of culture and the advent of social media.
We need to push for more uniform standards.
The left tried to do this.
The left tried to do this with the woke standards.
The people overwhelmingly rejected it.
That's why the Democrats are in the doldrums now.
Our opportunity, we should not take the wrong lesson from this.
What we have to do now is not just say, well, that goes to show you that people hate standards.
No, no, no.
They hated the libs woke standards.
That's what they rejected.
Across all demographics, you saw a movement to the right because of the woke lib standards.
We need to offer our own standards that are good, our own standards, like good is to be pursued and evil avoided.
Like beautiful things should be promoted and ugly things should be discouraged.
Like the truth should be protected and falsehood should be discouraged.
Like we shouldn't celebrate it when people are assassinated just for being our political opponents.
We need to offer different standards and different taboos.
That's what's going to bring people along.
That's what's going to create common areas, like similarities, that are the only way to overcome the very real aspects of human nature that Wanda Sykes is describing.
One last point before we go.
Jon Stewart, liberal comedian, kind of political commentator, host of the Daily Show.
Jon Stewart just made a great point.
He was speaking at the New Yorker and he was actually punching left.
He was hitting the New Yorker from the left.
And he pointed out that he has family members who are on the right.
And he described how he thinks the left should interact with them.
I've got people in my family that are to the right of Attila the Hun.
And when people tell me, like, how can you platform that person on your show?
I go, I platform my uncle every Thanksgiving.
And by the way, I love him.
He's a three-dimensional human being who has qualities that I really admire, things about him.
And we've lost that.
We've lost the ability to love people because we litmus test at every point, in every single moment.
This is great.
This is a really beautiful clip from Jon Stewart.
I love the way he says, I love him too, because he doesn't do it in the glib way that liberals sometimes do.
Occasionally, on the rare occasion that you hear a liberal say, I got some right-wingers in my family, but we love them.
Oh, no, we love them.
It's usually with this air of, oh, I'm just barely holding on, but I don't know if he's coming to Thanksgiving next year.
I don't know.
We love him, but it's just really hard.
He just really screws up Thanksgiving every year, but this year at least we'll endure it.
That's usually how it sounds.
That's not what Jon Stewart said.
He said, I got people in the family to the right of Attila the Hunt.
You know, I platform my uncle every Thanksgiving.
And by the way, I love him.
I love, you can, there's a kind of ferocity to his description.
So I love him because he is a three-dimensional human being with qualities that I really admire.
There's a great deal of humility and awe even in that description.
That's a sincere take.
I'd love, I believe he loves his uncle.
I don't believe when you hear that, oh, I've got some got some right-wingers in our family.
We love them, though, don't we?
I don't believe that those people love the right-wingers.
I do believe it with Jon Stewart.
So why is it so striking?
It's not striking because people don't speak that way anymore.
The right still thinks that way.
The right still acts this way, overwhelmingly, almost without exception.
No right-winger disinvites the left-wing family member from the holiday.
It just doesn't happen.
No right-winger speaks about the left in the way the left speaks about the right.
This is borne out by social scientific data.
We've been talking about it for years.
The left is much more likely to cancel friendships with right-wingers over politics or disown parts of their family, or the right is overwhelmingly more likely to do that than the right is.
When Jon Stewart says, we don't speak that way anymore, we don't speak this way with love.
I think, if he's being honest with himself, he would recognize the we is referring to the left.
And it's a big problem because I don't have any control over that.
Jon Stewart might have some control over that.
I don't have any control over that.
I can do my best.
I can try to persuade people.
I can try to go into left-wing areas like some left-wing podcast or left-wing debate or the whatever podcast or something.
And I can do my best to make a case.
But ultimately, the left has to decide.
Are they going to come to Thanksgiving or not?
Are they going to disinvite people from the holidays or not?
Are they going to de-platform their friends and relatives or not?
Strews saying, man, someone's really broken here.
That's introspection.
That's more powerful introspection, I think.
All the way down to it echoes the wisdom of St. Paul, who says, if we have all the virtues, but we don't have love, we're nothing but clanging symbols.
But you get the CNN poll.
You get the fact that there's no leader on the left.
You get the fact that New York is about to head to the doldrums either way.
And you hear that from Jon Stewart, who's a New Yorker at New York and New Jersey.
You say, oh, man, this is real.
Something spiritually has broken.
Something essential has broken on the left.
Maybe they'll figure it out.
Maybe they won't.
I hope they do figure it out, though.
