Heard first-hand accounts from a lot of people there about the response they were getting from FEMA as well as their own insurance companies.
And they have now landed at LAX.

Now, apparently, Governor Gavin Newsom has been seen waiting on the tarmac for the president to depart, or depart from the plane, Air Force One.
It was not, weren't really sure if the governor was going to be there.
The White House has said this is the first they've heard about it, according to some reports from some other outlets.
So it's kind of a waiting game there.
And now you see President Trump stepping off the plane along with the first lady.
And the president and the first lady, they'll be meeting with homeowners that we've been mentioning who lost everything in those fires.
The president also expected to take part in a briefing with congressional leaders.
These are leaders from both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans.
Mayor Bass is also going to be part of those discussions.
You see Governor Newsom there, that exchange that they are anticipating because of early reports saying that the governor wouldn't be there than his office clarifying he would.
So it seems as if for right now it's cordial.
A bunch of the Democrats were all mad.

And, Mr. President, you can't have Rhode Island maintain a staff of thousands and thousands of people waiting to see if they have a disaster.
You know who came in and fixed North Carolina or the process?
Other states, people from all over the country came.
And you have the same thing.
You have a lot of people from all over the country.
Getting the people is not a problem.
Getting the organization is a big problem.
FEMA's incompetently run, and it costs about three times more than it should cost.

They want to bring people that aren't as good as the people you already have.
And FEMA's turned out to be a disaster.
And you could go back a long way.
You could go back to Louisiana.
You could go back to some of the things that took place in Texas.
It turns out to be the state that ends up doing the work.

So Christy Noam, right?
She is, she's the current DHS secretary.
So her name is Christy Lynn Arnold Noam, born November 30, 1971, is an American politician who is currently serving as the eighth U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security since 2025, serving under President Donald Trump in his second term.
She previously served as the 33rd governor of South Dakota from 2019 to 2025, resigning after being confirmed as Secretary of Homeland Security, a member of the Republican Party.
She was U.S. Representative for South Dakota's at-large congressional district from 2011 to 2019 and a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives for the 6th District from 2007 to 2011.
I know she lived on a farm.
She went like viral for like shooting a dog or something like that.

In April 2024, insiders said that her odds of being selected as Trump's running mate had waned due to her stance on abortion and the revelation in her book, No Going Back, that she shot and killed her pet dog and a goat.

But on June 5th, NBC News reported that Noam was no longer on Trump's shortlist of running mates.

But if you're going to be a politician, you want to get the massive vote, you want to get the woman vote.

What do I think about this?

She's a governor, and most governors have no idea how the feds work.

I don't think that she should be the Secretary of Homeland Security because most governors have zero idea how immigration or customs works because customs and immigration is a federal matter only.
It is not a state matter ever, okay?
So putting someone there, quite frankly, they're not going to know what the fuck they're doing.

But it seems as though he's staffing most of the people in his cabinet, most of the people close to him, that are Trump loyalists.
Okay, so my thoughts on this, I don't think she's qualified for the job.
And I also dislike that she's more concerned with pushing fucking anti-Semitism bills than anything else.
