MyronGainesX - Fed Explains The Zodiac Killer Aired: 2024-11-11 Duration: 01:29:15 === Leah Takes the Spotlight (07:17) === [00:08:55] And we are live. [00:08:56] What's up, guys? [00:08:56] Welcome to Fed Reacts. [00:08:58] I'm here with Angie. [00:08:58] She's right next to me, as you guys can see, checking out some dog stuff. [00:09:03] Guys, we're gonna be talking about the Zodiac killer. [00:09:05] Let's get into it. [00:09:09] Special Agent Homeland Investigation, okay, guys. [00:09:12] This is what Fed Reacts covers. [00:09:13] Defender Jeffrey Williams and Associate Weisel did commit the felony. [00:09:16] Oh, here's what 6ix9ine actually died. [00:09:18] This hat shifted the whole U.S. government. [00:09:21] This guy got arrested. [00:09:22] Espionage, okay? [00:09:23] Trading secrets with the Russian on Wayne Gazey, aka the killer clown. [00:09:27] Okay, one of the most prolific serial killers of all time, killed 33 people. [00:09:30] Zodiac Killer is a pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Northern California. [00:09:35] They really get off on getting attention from the media. [00:09:39] Many years, Jeffrey Epstein sexually exploited and abused dozens of minor girls at his home. [00:09:43] It was OJ working together to get Nicole killed. [00:09:46] We're going to go over his past, the gang guys, so that this all makes sense. [00:09:53] First. [00:09:54] And we are live. [00:09:55] What's up, guys? [00:09:55] Welcome to Fred Reacts. [00:09:56] I apologize for the delay, guys. [00:09:58] As you guys know, well, we had a Zoom call earlier with Cast Club guys. [00:10:03] It was a good time. [00:10:05] It was longer than expected, but you guys know I try to give value to my people. [00:10:12] It's very important that we give value to the people. [00:10:14] So, guys, Castle Club, if you're not in there already, you need to get in there. [00:10:18] It's lit. [00:10:19] We help guys make money. [00:10:20] Girls. [00:10:22] Hell, we even had our guy in there, Justin, who's an email marketer. [00:10:27] He was in there helping as well. [00:10:28] So, no, man, it was a good time. [00:10:30] It was a really good time. [00:10:32] But we also got Angie in the house, guys. [00:10:34] Yeah, I'm back. [00:10:38] How are you guys doing? [00:10:39] I miss so much being here. [00:10:41] And yeah, do this again with you guys. [00:10:44] I've been having like a mom life with my dogs. [00:10:48] So I've been very busy lately, but we're back. [00:10:52] So we're finally on our like our normal, like, you know, schedule. [00:10:58] Schedule. [00:10:59] Frank's been going to school, guys, for three weeks. [00:11:01] So Angie's been taking him. [00:11:03] And Leah, she's been taking him to school. [00:11:05] So basically, what that is, is like from 9 to 3 p.m., they're a school, and then she, you know, obviously goes back and forth. [00:11:12] And it's not close. [00:11:13] It's like in a town over. [00:11:15] So she's been dealing with that for a couple of weeks. [00:11:17] So, but now we got them. [00:11:19] They're done with school. [00:11:20] Well, Frank is. [00:11:22] Oh, yeah, Leah's still at some school. [00:11:24] Yeah. [00:11:24] They're teaching them to, they're training them to be like better dogs, like the decent dogs in the street with people, you know, like not crazy dogs. [00:11:32] And they're actually very smart dogs, both of them. [00:11:35] Like Frank, Frank's breed is the best, like the smartest dog in the world right now. [00:11:43] And Leah was supposed to be poodle. [00:11:46] So she's a poodle. [00:11:48] Her breed was supposed to be the smartest dogs like back in the 80s. [00:11:51] So we have like top two, top one smartest dogs in the world right now. [00:11:58] And they're doing great in school. [00:11:59] Frank just finishes. [00:12:01] I'm trying to see if Myron wants to continue school for him so he'll be like fully trained. [00:12:06] Yeah, we probably will. [00:12:07] Well, Leah is great, actually. [00:12:09] She's been learning to be more sociable with their dogs because she tends to like bark a lot and like bite. [00:12:14] But they're good. [00:12:16] I'm happy actually that they finished school. [00:12:18] Yeah. [00:12:18] Yeah. [00:12:19] No, it's good, man. [00:12:20] It's good. [00:12:21] So, and you guys know that I trained Frank by myself a lot. [00:12:25] But now he's even more, now he's even more, because when he went to the school, he basically put him, he skipped a bunch of stuff since I trained him on my own. [00:12:34] See, because he was already receptive. [00:12:36] I mean, he's just chilling right now, chewing, as you guys know. [00:12:38] He's teething right now. [00:12:40] I mean, if you guys want, I could put him on camera. [00:12:41] I don't know if you guys want me to. [00:12:43] Yeah, make him say hi. [00:12:44] All right, Frank, come here. [00:12:45] Come here. [00:12:46] Frank, come here. [00:12:47] Come here, buddy. [00:12:49] They both come. [00:12:50] Yeah, they're both. [00:12:50] Every time Myron calls any of the dogs, they both come. [00:12:53] See, then Leah comes and takes the attention. [00:12:54] Come here, buddy. [00:12:55] Come. [00:12:55] Okay. [00:12:57] Okay. [00:12:58] Say what's up to the people, man. [00:13:00] Say what's up? [00:13:01] I get Leah. [00:13:02] Come here, Michael. [00:13:02] Say what's up to them. [00:13:03] Here, let me zoom out this camera a bit. [00:13:08] I went and did an IG story with him earlier, too. [00:13:11] We're not IG story, IG live. [00:13:13] Frank. [00:13:15] Come on, Frank. [00:13:15] You gotta say what's up to the people. [00:13:17] Say what's up, man. [00:13:20] You gotta turn him on. [00:13:21] Just like, man, take me off the camera, man. [00:13:24] Frank, come on. [00:13:25] Say what's up to the people. [00:13:27] Come on. [00:13:28] Say what's up. [00:13:32] He's so handsome. [00:13:36] Frank, you're not gonna say what's up? [00:13:38] Frank, attack. [00:13:38] Attack. [00:13:40] Frank. [00:13:40] Attack. [00:13:42] Bro, man, he just wants to lie down. [00:13:44] All right. [00:13:46] All right, fair enough. [00:13:46] All right, Frank. [00:13:47] is so jealous she's been like here i'll put i'll put a All right, you can go down. [00:13:53] You go down. [00:13:53] Give me Leah. [00:13:56] You guys already know her. [00:13:57] I've heard. [00:13:58] She loves the attention. [00:14:00] Say what's up to them. [00:14:01] Say what's up. [00:14:07] I like to play with Leah like that all the time. [00:14:11] It's so funny. [00:14:12] Say what's up to them. [00:14:13] Leah. [00:14:17] She be dancing, bro. [00:14:18] She'd be like, hey, she's a lot more fun than Frank is. [00:14:22] Frankie, you guys see him. [00:14:23] He looked depressed. [00:14:25] They could just stare at me now. [00:14:27] She loves the attention. [00:14:29] He's one thing with Myron and one thing with me at home. [00:14:32] Because at home, he has these attacks that I call like cocaine attacks. [00:14:37] Because it's literally like you gave him cocaine. [00:14:39] He starts running like crazy. [00:14:41] Like he has, he's got like a shot of energy or something. [00:14:44] I don't know. [00:14:45] And he jumps in my couch. [00:14:46] Then he jumps down to the floor, starts running, starts barking, jumps on my bed, jumps down, and it starts running like in a loop like crazy. [00:14:55] So he never does that here with Myron in his presence. [00:14:59] Like he only does it. [00:15:01] You've been biting Angie and shit. [00:15:02] And he's been biting me too. [00:15:05] And barking. [00:15:05] Well, she plays with him. [00:15:06] Like, she Angie wrestles with him and stuff. [00:15:08] So she's trying to make him a bit more aggressive. [00:15:11] But, but, yeah. [00:15:12] They said, where's Pug Fresh? [00:15:14] Oh, you guys are dicks. [00:15:16] But yeah. [00:15:18] Last time I came, we had other people as president. [00:15:23] And now we have. [00:15:24] Yeah, now we got Trump. [00:15:25] Now we got this guy over here. [00:15:27] You got the G, man. [00:15:29] We got Trump in the house. [00:15:31] I've got it shocked. [00:15:32] Everything's changed since I came the last time. [00:15:36] We got Trump in the house, man. [00:15:37] Things have changed. [00:15:38] All right, Leo, you want to say bye to the people now? [00:15:41] We got to start Fred Reacts. [00:15:46] The guy face. [00:15:47] He's so annoyed. [00:15:48] Yeah, she's like, yo, put me down, man. [00:15:50] All right. [00:15:51] All right. [00:15:51] I'll put you down. [00:15:52] All right, Leo. [00:15:54] Come play with Frank. === Zodiac Killer Suspects (11:29) === [00:15:57] Okay. [00:15:58] So, guys, today we're going to be covering the Zodiac Killer. [00:16:04] Okay. [00:16:06] And actually, you know what, Angie, give your take on the Zodiac Killer first, and then I'll go after you. [00:16:13] Okay, so we're not going to cover the Soda Killer Brussel because Myron already covered like a whole, he made like a whole episode on this, a case way before he met me, way like a long ago, like a long time ago. [00:16:27] And you guys can go check it out. [00:16:29] It's on Fed Reacts, Nefed React's channel, because it's very extensive. [00:16:34] Like it's very long. [00:16:36] And he covered every detail of the case there. [00:16:38] So now we're going to just make like a sum-up of the story of the Soda Killer because there is a new theory that came out that, well, it's not a new theory. [00:16:47] It's like a couple of things. [00:16:47] And we're going to watch it with you guys. [00:16:49] Yeah. [00:16:49] We're going to have to watch it on Rumble, though. [00:16:50] It's kind of like a confirmation of a theory that's been going around. [00:16:54] And it's about this new series that came out on Netflix that it's called, what's the name of the series? [00:17:00] I am the Zodiac. [00:17:01] It's the Zodiac. [00:17:03] It's the Zodiac speaking. [00:17:04] So we're going to give our take on that and we're going to cover the details of that series. [00:17:08] We're going to watch one episode on Rumble with you guys. [00:17:11] So yeah, we can catch up on the case. [00:17:13] But basically, it's like there's more evidence that came out confirming that Arthur Lee Allen was the actual Sodiac killer. [00:17:24] Which, as we know, if people don't know the case, this was like the strongest suspect for the police and for a lot of people, like forever, honestly. [00:17:37] This is like what's the main guy that people have suspected for decades. [00:17:42] So we're going to cover that. [00:17:45] We're going to cover the people that he had to deal with. [00:17:51] And I came out now to give his take on the case and to support the evidence that came out. [00:17:58] So we'll see what happens. [00:18:00] We'll see what you guys think of it. [00:18:02] And we want to hear your own theories on this. [00:18:05] So yeah, stay tuned and comment on the comment section and let us know what you guys think. [00:18:11] I personally think that since forever since I started this case, ages ago, when I saw the movie, when I studied, when I researched, I always thought that it was Arthur Lee Allen. [00:18:23] Like there was nobody else in my mind For this case, like I always thought it was him, and I will always support that theory because, I mean, if it smells and it, what's this saying? [00:18:36] If it smells, if it's smells like a dog and looks like a dog. [00:18:41] No, I think it's if it smelled. [00:18:43] Oh, like it quacks like a duck and sound, yeah, smells like a duck. [00:18:46] Whatever. [00:18:46] Whatever. [00:18:47] It does the same. [00:18:48] So I think it's him. [00:18:50] Definitely, 100%. [00:18:51] It's him. [00:18:52] I mean, there isn't a reason why. [00:18:56] Well, we'll see in the case. [00:18:57] I'll say it later. [00:18:58] But yeah. [00:19:00] All right. [00:19:00] So let's go ahead and get into it a little bit here, guys. [00:19:03] So, oh, my bad. [00:19:05] So the Zodiac Killer, right? [00:19:06] Obviously, this is the famous sketch. [00:19:10] The Zodiac Killer is a pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Northern California in the 1960s. [00:19:15] Zodiac murdered five known victims in the San Francisco Bay Area between December 1968 and October 1969, operating in rural, urban, and suburban settings. [00:19:25] He targeted three young couples and a lone male cab driver. [00:19:28] The case has been described as arguably the most famous unsolved murder case in American history. [00:19:33] It has become both a fixture of popular culture and a focus for efforts by amateur detectives. [00:19:38] I will tell you guys this right now. [00:19:39] I think it's almost irrefutable that the Zodiac Killer is by far the most famous case in the United States. [00:19:46] If you want to say worldwide, maybe Jack the Ripper. [00:19:49] But I would say Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac Killer are the two most famous. [00:19:53] The Zodiac Ripper is on that level? [00:19:55] Yeah, well, internationally. [00:19:57] I will say That Bundy. [00:19:59] Well, I mean, Front Solved. [00:20:02] Oh. [00:20:03] Well, yeah, I said earlier that D.B. Cooper was one of like... [00:20:07] Yeah, but this is bigger than D.B. Cooper. [00:20:10] Way bigger. [00:20:11] Way bigger. [00:20:12] Because D.B. Cooper is like, you know. [00:20:14] Well, there was actual people that actually saw the guy. [00:20:17] Yeah, people saw him and shit. [00:20:18] But like, what do you do? [00:20:19] Steal $100,000? [00:20:21] That's one thing. [00:20:22] But like, you know, this guy literally, to this day, people are still trying to solve the case. [00:20:27] Matter of fact, there's a guy trending on TikTok right now that thinks his dad, or excuse me, his grandfather was the killer. [00:20:35] And he has like a lot of like sustainable evidence. [00:20:38] Yes, which we'll probably do a breakdown for you guys on that in the future as well. [00:20:43] Today we're going to be focusing on Arthur Lee Allen. [00:20:45] But when other suspects come out, especially this one with the Richard Hoffman, we will go ahead and cover that one on a separate episode. [00:20:54] But today we're going to be focusing on an Arthur Lee Allen. [00:20:57] But this is Zodiac Killer. [00:20:58] Obviously, this is a famous sketch that was made in 1969 based on an eyewitness account of Presidio Heights murder, which don't worry guys, I got y'all. [00:21:06] We're going to go through every single murder that the Zodiac Killer was actually involved in to refresh your guys' memories. [00:21:11] I know that we went ahead and did this a long time ago. [00:21:13] Damn near two years ago, I think at this point. [00:21:15] No, maybe three. [00:21:17] Maybe even three. [00:21:18] Almost three. [00:21:20] But it was a while ago when I covered the Zodiac Killer. [00:21:22] So we got some new updates, especially with Arthur Lee Allen. [00:21:25] So I'm going to refresh your guys' memory because some of you guys didn't watch those episodes. [00:21:29] So we're going to go ahead and get into it, right? [00:21:31] So now that we know who the Zodiac Killer is, here are the victims. [00:21:37] Okay. [00:21:37] And this is a website, by the way, ZodiacKiller.com. [00:21:39] This is a pretty good website. [00:21:41] This is what I would call a sleuth website. [00:21:43] And for some of you guys, yo, Myra, what the fuck is a sleuth? [00:21:46] This case, guys, has rallied so many armchair detectives, aka sleuths, that went ahead and did their best to try to solve this fucking case. [00:21:55] Okay, if you want to talk about sleuths, this case by far has the most. [00:21:59] I would say D.B. Cooper is maybe next. [00:22:01] But this one has the most sleuths, right? [00:22:06] So we're going to go over the first victims that was attributed to the Zodiac Killer and then the ones after that. [00:22:15] So Darlene Farron and Mike Majo, July 5th, 1969. [00:22:20] And I got the video for you guys here. [00:22:22] But we'll go through it real quick. [00:22:24] Basically, Darlene Farron, age 22, was shot five times. [00:22:27] Mike Majou was 19, shot four times. [00:22:29] The weapon was a 9mm semi-automatic pistol. [00:22:32] There was no indication of robbery or sexual molestation. [00:22:37] And there were no witnesses. [00:22:39] Okay? [00:22:39] These are the two victims. [00:22:41] Obviously, rest in peace to Darlene Farron. [00:22:43] They were 18 and 17, right? [00:22:45] Yeah, she was 18. [00:22:47] This is a picture of her when she was 18, but she died at 22. [00:22:49] Okay. [00:22:50] And then this is the guy, Maju, who actually survived, right? [00:22:54] So Farron was married and worked as a waitress at Terry's restaurant. [00:22:58] Maju was a single, or Mago. [00:23:00] I don't know if I'm pronouncing this correctly. [00:23:02] I'll just say Majao. [00:23:03] Was single and worked as a laborer. [00:23:05] Farron's husband, Dean, was initially suspect in the murder. [00:23:07] However, was ruled out once it was established. [00:23:09] He was working as a cook at Caesar's restaurant at the time of the murder. [00:23:12] So obviously they thought, yo, this woman's married. [00:23:15] Why is she with this dude? [00:23:16] Guys, this is 1960s. [00:23:17] Back then, infidelity was taken very seriously. [00:23:19] Yeah, she was daughty. [00:23:20] So they automatically, yeah, they automatically assumed that it was her husband that killed her, right? [00:23:27] but he got cleared because he was a cook so husbands are always the prime sauce They always are, anyway, regardless, yeah. [00:23:34] Farron's first husband, James Philip Crabtree, was also briefly a suspect. [00:23:38] According to surviving victim Majo, here in Farron had parked at the isolated location to talk. [00:23:43] A car, possibly a light brown Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Corver, pulled into the lot just a few feet away. [00:23:50] A man with a flashlight exited the vehicle and approached them. [00:23:52] There were no other cars in a parking lot, thinking it was a police officer. [00:23:55] The couple had their identification ready. [00:23:57] Without warning, the man began firing at the couple. [00:24:00] After shots were fired, the man walked away slowly back to his car. [00:24:04] Majoe screamed in pain, at which point the man returned and fired two more shots into each victim. [00:24:09] It was at this point that Majo got a look at him. [00:24:12] The man was about 5'8 to 5'9 in his late 20s, early 30s. [00:24:16] Stocky build, round face, and brown hair. [00:24:19] No conversation between the victims and the man occurred. [00:24:22] Approximately 45 minutes later, the Vallejo Police Department received a call from a man claiming responsibility for the attack. [00:24:28] He correctly identified the weapon used as a 9mm and also took credit for the Faraday Jensen murders of December 20th, 1968. [00:24:36] And that's when they were at a piece because originally these murders that occurred a year prior, right? [00:24:42] No one knew what the fuck happened. [00:24:43] Same exact situation. [00:24:44] A couple brutally gunned down and murdered while in a Lover's Lane area, right? [00:24:52] For the next few weeks, the investigation went nowhere. [00:24:54] Then on July 31st, 1969, letters were sent to the Vallejo Times Herald, San Francisco Examiner, and San Francisco Chronicle. [00:25:01] The letters claimed to be from the killer of Faraday Jensen and Farron. [00:25:05] Details were included that only the killer could have known. [00:25:08] And each letter contained one-third of a cipher that, if solved, supposedly contained the killer's identity. [00:25:15] While the killer hadn't yet given himself the name Zodiac, this marked the beginning of a letter writing spree that would go on for more than five years. [00:25:23] And that, my friends, was the birth of a legend. [00:25:26] And I want to say that actually, he was such a legend that if you guys remember from other cases that we cover, he inspired a bunch of other serial killers. [00:25:35] Yeah, there was a New York Zodiac killer that copied him with the letters and shit. [00:25:39] Yeah, what's the name of this New York that we covered? [00:25:41] You got to be talking to Mike Andrews so they can hear you. [00:25:43] The one that we covered, that the son of Sam, he was also sending letters to the police. [00:25:49] Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:25:50] And there was a bunch of others that did the same exact same thing. [00:25:53] Yeah, BTK, BTK. [00:25:55] BTK, yeah. [00:25:56] But yep. [00:25:57] It was because of this guy. [00:25:58] So this guy was an inspiration for a bunch of serial killers. [00:26:01] So going back real quick, so basically this murder, guys, confirmed this murder here, which occurred first, right? [00:26:09] So David Faraday, age 17, was shot once in the head at point-blank range and died within minutes. [00:26:13] Betty Lou Jensen, age 16, was shot five times in the back and killed instantly. [00:26:17] The weapon was a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol. [00:26:19] The ammunition was a Winchester Western Super X copper-coated long rifle. [00:26:24] There was no indication of robbery or sexual whatever. [00:26:27] While there were no witnesses, several vehicles were seen in the area just prior to local resident Sela Burgess discovering the crime scene. [00:26:34] And these are the two victims in this case. [00:26:37] I don't have the movie doesn't depict this murder, but again, very similar. [00:26:42] They're in a secluded area at night, you know, probably there to make out. [00:26:46] And this guy went ahead and decided to copy. [00:26:48] They were underage, though. [00:26:50] Huh? [00:26:50] These guys were underage. [00:26:52] Yeah. [00:26:53] Yeah. [00:26:54] Yep. [00:26:55] And they're considered definite Zodiac victims because after Majou and Darlene were killed, he took credit for killing them. [00:27:04] That's how they were able to connect it. [00:27:07] So let's go ahead and cover the Darlene Farron and Michael Majou murder. === 11 PM Pickup Delay (08:05) === [00:27:17] This is July 4th, 1969. [00:27:21] Oh, maybe I have the tab muted. [00:27:23] I'm sorry, my bad guys. [00:27:24] Farron and Michael murder. [00:27:27] Hold on, I got myself yapping over here. [00:27:30] Easy to be hard. [00:28:03] Where have you been? [00:28:04] Been waiting since 7. [00:28:05] Get in, I have to find fireworks. [00:28:06] So she was supposed to pick him up earlier, but, you know, she was hanging out with her younger sister and she worked at the restaurant, et cetera. [00:28:13] So she didn't end up getting them guys until roughly because there's a police report on this like 11 p.m. [00:28:20] She didn't get them. [00:28:22] 1130. [00:28:23] 11.30 it was? [00:28:24] Yeah. [00:28:24] Because they got killed at 12. [00:28:27] Okay. [00:28:28] 12. [00:28:29] So let me. [00:28:33] Trying to find the. [00:28:35] This girl, I think, was like kind of like sneaking out or something like that because she was married. [00:28:41] No. [00:28:42] She wasn't supposed to be with him. [00:28:44] Yeah. [00:28:45] I'm trying to find the okay, boom. [00:28:48] Yeah, here's the actual police report. [00:28:50] So, here, if I think if I'm not mistaken, it was page 8 or 7. [00:29:04] And look at that police report, guys. [00:29:06] That was in the 60s. [00:29:08] Yep. [00:29:08] So everything was like kind of like handwritten or typewriter. [00:29:12] Typewriter. [00:29:16] Hold on. [00:29:17] I'm trying to. [00:29:18] Yeah, she was supposed to get him like 11. [00:29:22] 11:30. [00:29:23] So she showed up late. [00:29:27] Let me drive. [00:29:28] I haven't eaten in 24 hours. [00:29:33] Are you coming or not? [00:29:52] Boom. [00:29:53] Pay attention to this car right here, guys. [00:29:54] I think it's going to come up later. [00:29:59] It's too crowded. [00:30:02] Thank you for starving. [00:30:05] Let's go someplace quiet. [00:30:21] I will say that the director did a good job of actually reading the police report and keeping this thing fairly accurate He actually paid attention. [00:30:28] He actually did pay attention. [00:30:29] What are we getting? [00:30:30] Because I read through the police report chat, and this pretty much is spot on. [00:30:35] From what Majo told the police. [00:30:39] Sitting, listening to music, talking. [00:30:44] You seem weird. [00:30:45] Is everything okay? [00:30:46] Yeah, everything's fine. [00:30:56] It's July. [00:30:57] How many shirts are you wearing? [00:30:59] I'm cold. [00:31:00] You're cold on the f- That is accurate. [00:31:02] He did actually have like three shirts on and like two pants. [00:31:05] This guy. [00:31:08] When they did the analysis after the fact. [00:31:12] Fourth of July. [00:31:13] What was that, Angie? [00:31:14] I didn't know that. [00:31:15] Yeah. [00:31:18] And that is true, too. [00:31:20] Yeah, that's in the police report as well. [00:31:21] That some guys like kind of fucked with them and fired some firecrackers. [00:31:29] Fucked up and died. [00:31:32] Fuck off the guys. [00:31:33] Oh, okay. [00:31:37] 9060s were different, bro. [00:31:39] Fuck off and die. [00:31:42] Shut up. [00:31:44] Granted, California does get late at night. [00:31:47] It does get cold at night. [00:31:47] I ain't gonna lie to y'all Tell me that's not fucking weird You're sitting there in this area, right? [00:32:17] And next thing you know, some dude pulls up in a fucking car, like and then turns the lights off and then just awkwardly sits there. [00:32:25] Yeah. [00:32:26] Bruh. [00:32:30] What's that car to drive? [00:32:35] I saw that car, Mr. Ensor. [00:32:43] Do you want me to tell him to leave? [00:32:45] What was that, Angie? [00:32:46] He's the one with the music. [00:32:47] Is he the one with the music? [00:32:49] No. [00:32:49] I don't know if that's him with the music, actually. [00:32:53] Stay in the car and puts the lights on and drives off So they think, okay, we're safe now. [00:33:09] And the name of the song is called Hurdy Gurdy Man by Donovan, by the way. [00:33:12] I used that on my Instagram story earlier, guys. [00:33:16] You guys probably noticed I've been using some weird old music. [00:33:18] A lot of it has something to do with the Zodiac killer. [00:33:25] Was that your husband? [00:33:27] No. [00:33:31] Who was that, Darlene? [00:33:35] worry about it now there's some there's some argument This TikToker says that apparently before Darlene was shot, she said that it was a guy named Rich, aka Rich Hoffman, which we're going to talk about that in another one. [00:33:50] But when I read the police report, there's no mention of that, guys. [00:33:54] So we don't know where that comment came from. [00:33:59] Don't tell me not to worry. [00:34:00] Who was it? [00:34:01] Nothing, but this is true. [00:34:12] They had they had They had the lights off. [00:34:16] Car was off. [00:34:17] Just a radio playing. [00:34:27] Car comes back. [00:34:34] Let's go. [00:34:39] Now, D. See, this is why the men, bro, this is why you got to drive the car, ninjas. [00:34:46] Like, are you a bad? [00:34:48] Like, look, she just sits there thinking it's okay, right? [00:34:51] Like, come on, man! === Chilling Phone Call (06:22) === [00:35:03] Get your wallet. [00:35:07] So you think it's a cop? [00:35:13] Man, you really creeped this out. [00:35:16] Oh, shit. [00:35:33] And he hears Majo in pain. [00:35:35] So, he comes back, fires two more shots into him. [00:35:48] Two more shots. [00:35:52] Fuck off. [00:35:58] Now, it's also important to note, guys, that that is accurate. [00:36:03] He fired two shots into each of them when he came back, right? [00:36:09] And Majo actually ended up surviving. [00:36:11] Yeah. [00:36:12] Thankfully, right? [00:36:14] But Darlene did not. [00:36:16] I will actually recommend you guys to go watch that movie. [00:36:19] Yeah, this is a good movie. [00:36:20] Is this a movie that it's called The Zodiac? [00:36:22] It came out in 2007. [00:36:24] Jake Gyllenhaal and who else is in it? [00:36:27] Robert Downey Jr. [00:36:28] Boom. [00:36:29] Yep. [00:36:48] Okay, this is the chilling phone call after he shot them. [00:36:53] Okay, guys? [00:36:54] So the dude goes ahead and goes and makes a phone call from a phone booth not too far from the police station, by the way. [00:37:05] Huh? [00:37:05] What's the name of this song? [00:37:07] Hurdy-Gurdy Man by Donovan. [00:37:13] Vallejo Police Department. [00:37:15] I want to report a double murder. [00:37:17] You can go one mile east on Columbus Parkway, the public park. [00:37:22] You'll find kids in a brown car. [00:37:25] They were shot with a 9mm looter. [00:37:29] I also killed those kids last year. [00:37:32] Goodbye. [00:37:35] See? [00:37:35] Sick fuck. [00:37:37] And that's where he claims credit for killing the other two, which I showed you guys before, the other victims. [00:37:52] David Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen. [00:37:54] So Darlene Farron and Mike Majewe kills them July 5th, 1969 at around midnight. [00:37:59] Well, he didn't kill Mike. [00:38:00] He survived. [00:38:01] But he killed David Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen. [00:38:04] credit for killing them after and uh that is and that's not the real audio guys I don't think the real audio was actually ever actually recorded, but they spoke to the person that spoke to him, and that's how he did it. [00:38:18] And he did it in a taunting fashion like that with the goodbye and everything else like that. [00:38:22] And it was a very matter of fact, because, hold on here, because I want you guys to see this in the police report real quick. [00:38:32] So you go here, Valleo Police Department. [00:38:36] So this is where he was lying, right? [00:38:43] There was blood. [00:38:45] Male victim. [00:38:45] Let me make this bigger for you, ninjas. [00:38:50] This is where the car was. [00:38:51] Male lying here. [00:38:52] So he wasn't actually lying on the vehicle like they saw. [00:38:55] He was on his back, right? [00:39:06] Boom. [00:39:07] Okay. [00:39:07] So Ryder received a call from a male subject who did not identify himself. [00:39:11] Substance of statement was as follows: I want to report a double murder. [00:39:16] If you will go one mile east on Columbus Parkway to the public park, you will find the kids in a brown car. [00:39:23] They were shot with a nine-millimeter Ruger. [00:39:25] I also killed those kids last year. [00:39:27] Then he goes, Goodbye. [00:39:29] So, it's also important that the 911 dispatcher that listened to the call said, Ryder could not distinguish no trace of accident, voice. [00:39:41] Subject seemed to be reading or bad or had or bad reenactment. [00:39:49] He was saying subject spoke in an even, consistent voice, rather soft but forceful. [00:39:56] When Ryder attempted to get information from Subject, his voice became louder, covering what Ryder was trying to say. [00:40:04] Subject did not stop talking until his statement was complete. [00:40:07] Subject's voice was mature. [00:40:09] The only real change in the voice was when he said goodbye. [00:40:12] Subject's voice deepened and became taunting. [00:40:14] During the course of subject statement, Ryder connected the subject with a dark officer, desk officer. [00:40:22] But the subject completed his statement and hung up before a desk officer picked up the call. [00:40:26] So the 911 dispatcher picked it up. [00:40:29] All right. [00:40:31] So that was the first murder. [00:40:33] Now, we're going to get into the next murder. [00:40:38] I'm not going to lie to y'all. [00:40:39] This one is graphic. [00:40:41] Okay. [00:40:42] And this murder, duplicate this. [00:40:50] This murder was once again of a couple. [00:40:53] Okay. [00:40:55] Cecilia and Brian. [00:40:56] Okay. [00:40:57] Cecilia Ann Shepard, age 22 in 1969, and Brian Cavill Hartnell at 20 years old in 1969. [00:41:07] So Cecilia was stabbed 10 times, five in the front and five in the back. === Murder Note Written (08:08) === [00:41:10] Brian Hartnell, age 20, was stabbed six times in the back. [00:41:13] The knife had a wooden handle and a blade approximately 10 to 12 inches long. [00:41:17] There was no indication of robbery or sexual molestation. [00:41:20] There were no witnesses. [00:41:23] So details. [00:41:25] According to the police report, the couple was relaxing on a blanket at a very remote location by the lake. [00:41:29] Shepard noticed a man approaching them wearing an unusual costume. [00:41:34] That's the costume, Ninjas. [00:41:35] That's somebody show up with this shit. [00:41:37] You're about, what the fuck? [00:41:41] And holding a gun. [00:41:42] He appeared to be more than six feet tall with a heavy build. [00:41:45] The man claimed he was a prison escapee from either Mantana or Colorado and needed money and a car to flee to Mexico. [00:41:51] Hartnell offered his wallet and car keys, which weren't taken. [00:41:54] After several minutes of conversation, the man tied up the couple with plastic clothesline and began stabbing them. [00:41:59] Hartnell was attacked first, then Shepard. [00:42:01] After the assault, the man walked away, walked casually from the scene. [00:42:06] After seven minutes, a nearby fisherman heard the couple screaming and alerted park rangers. [00:42:10] By the time help arrived, Shepard and Hartnell had managed to untie their restraints. [00:42:13] It took nearly an hour for an ambulance to arrive, at which time both victims were in critical condition. [00:42:17] Just over an hour after the attack, the Napole Police Department received a call from a man claiming responsibility for the stabbing. [00:42:23] The call was quickly traced to a phone booth in downtown Napa, and fingerprints were later recovered. [00:42:28] Meanwhile, Napa County Sheriff's Department deputies responding to the crime scene. [00:42:33] They found the attacker had written a message on the victim's car door. [00:42:37] The message included the dates of the Faraday Jensen and Farad Maju attacks and was signed with a cross-circle symbol. [00:42:45] Tire trucks indicated the killer had parked behind the victim's car. [00:42:48] Size 10 and a half wing walker shoe prints were recovered from the scene, indicating a suspect weighing more than 210 pounds. [00:42:55] Detectives later located three young women who had noticed a strange man in the general area just a couple hours before the attack. [00:43:03] Shepard died within 48 hours of the stabbing. [00:43:05] Her funeral services attracted a huge crowd of mourners, mourners. [00:43:09] Hartnell recovered from his wounds and is now an attorney in Southern California. [00:43:12] While Brian gave many interviews in the first few years after the attack, he is no longer discussing the case with the news media. [00:43:19] Many suspects were scrutinized, including the serial killer, Ted Bundy. [00:43:23] A February 1989 comparison of fingerprints helped clear Bundy of this crime. [00:43:31] So here is where it happened, right? [00:43:42] And Nappy County Sheriff's Department detective Ken Narlo, who hunted Zodiac from September 27, 1969, pictured from September 1998. [00:43:56] That's the guy. [00:44:00] This is the message that was written. [00:44:02] This is a legendary message that was written on the car. [00:44:04] So after he killed them, guys, he found their car, put the infamous target, and put Vallejo, 1220, 1968, 7469. [00:44:17] And then September 27th, 1969, at 6:30 p.m., and he writes here, by fucking knife. [00:44:26] Sick bastard, guys. [00:44:29] So, and like you, like I showed you guys before, let me duplicate this real quick. [00:44:36] So, this is how they were able to tie the murders together, right? [00:44:41] December 28th, the 20th of 1968, boom, December 20th, 1968. [00:44:47] Then, the Maju murders, July 5th, 1969, July 4th, 1969, same day. [00:44:54] You guys know what it means. [00:44:55] And then September 27, 1969, obviously, 6:30 p.m. by knife. [00:44:59] Now it's him killing, attacking the couple. [00:45:04] So, we're going to go ahead and show you guys this murder so you guys get a visual of this sick fuck. [00:45:13] But I'm going to warn you guys that it is graphic. [00:45:21] Here's a police report. [00:45:24] So, yeah, this is a police report for. [00:45:26] Let me duplicate this real quick. [00:45:36] Okay, so this is a report. [00:45:39] Something that I want you guys to kind of pay attention to before I show you guys this video. [00:45:45] So, they went and interviewed him, right? [00:45:50] So, he tried to interview him, but he was too fucked up. [00:45:52] Obviously, he was in extreme pain and appeared to be in shock, so they couldn't interview him, right? [00:45:57] But he goes, the sale was wearing a black ceremonial-type hood, square on top, and appeared to be heavyset between 200 to 250 pounds. [00:46:04] He also stated as the sale had approached both him and Miss Shepard with a gun, but had stabbed them with a long knife. [00:46:10] Hartnell further stated the gun was in black holster and the knife was in a sheath. [00:46:14] He stated that the attacker was wearing dark clothing, dark jacket, and dark pants. [00:46:19] Hartnell further stated that the gun was an automatic pistol and the knife had a black handle and appeared to be homemade. [00:46:25] It should be noted that Hartnell was very groggy and he was very difficult to interview at the time. [00:46:29] Subject was re-interviewed the next day by Detective Sergeant Robertson and gave him more complete details. [00:46:36] So they came back and interviewed him later. [00:46:42] So, let me go back when they went to go back and interview him. [00:47:02] Bear with me, guys. [00:47:08] Because obviously, Hartnell was stabbed and he was fucked up. [00:47:14] So, okay, you wear the hood. [00:47:23] Subject was carrying what appeared to be an automatic pistol. [00:47:26] Blah, blah, blah. [00:47:26] I can't stand to see her stab first. [00:47:37] She also advised, okay. [00:47:40] Yeah, clip on sunglasses to cover his eyes, which is also kind of weird. [00:47:44] On top of the hood. [00:47:50] So like I said, that tie them up. [00:47:52] And after they were tied responsible, I'm going to have to stab you. [00:47:59] Hmm. [00:48:01] interesting when I'm trying to find trying to find the bear with me guys trying to find the second interviewer that they did with Hartnell. [00:48:24] Did I miss it? [00:48:35] Go back to page three. [00:48:39] Yep, interviewed a college student. [00:48:57] Okay. [00:48:59] What I'll try to do is I'll try to find it on the side here. [00:49:02] We'll play this video for you, ninjas. === Barron's Warning (04:32) === [00:49:07] Alright, I'm warning you guys, this is Graphic. [00:49:16] I don't even like watching this scene to be honest with you. [00:49:20] This is Lake Barriessa. [00:49:25] I know this used to be the town of Monticello. [00:49:28] What? [00:49:28] Where did you? [00:49:29] This is from the movie, right? [00:49:30] Yeah, it's from the movie. [00:49:32] But at some point, the county decided that the land would work better as a lake. [00:49:37] So they flooded it. [00:49:40] There's an entire hidden city under the water. [00:49:44] We were here last spring, remember? [00:49:46] Oh yeah. [00:49:47] Somebody else is here. [00:49:56] It is a public park. [00:50:00] I think he's watching us. [00:50:02] Well, we're very good looking. [00:50:06] He's just playing it off. [00:50:12] Where'd he go? [00:50:17] Went behind that tree. [00:50:18] Alright, so he's taking a leak. [00:50:27] He's coming towards us. [00:50:32] Oh my god, he has a gun. [00:50:35] Don't move. [00:50:36] I want your money and your imagine like you're just sitting there chilling, right? [00:50:40] Fucking picnic with your chick. [00:50:42] This nigga shows up with a cross on his chest, right? [00:50:46] And like executioner thing and a fucking gun and some clip-on glasses. [00:50:51] Okay. [00:50:53] We're not gonna do anything, okay? [00:50:55] We're gonna cooperate. [00:50:56] Just tell me what you want us to do. [00:51:06] You're welcome to everything I have. [00:51:12] If there's anything else I could do for you, maybe I could write you a check. [00:51:19] Okay, I could give you my phone number. [00:51:22] You know, I might be able to help you even more than you might think. [00:51:28] He's a sociology major. [00:51:31] Pre-law. [00:51:36] Keys. [00:51:37] You know, I'm sorry, I don't know exactly where I put my keys. [00:51:40] They might be on the blanket. [00:51:41] Is that okay? [00:51:47] Here's the case Don't get up. [00:51:52] I want her to tie you up. [00:52:05] And just so you guys know, this area is like, no one's over there. [00:52:08] It's like Barron. [00:52:26] Don't get any ideas. [00:52:28] I'm not. [00:52:29] I killed a guard escaping from prison in Montana. [00:52:32] I'm not doing anything, okay? [00:52:34] I'm not afraid to kill again. [00:52:37] Look away. [00:52:46] What was the name of that prison? [00:52:52] Hey, you said it was in Montana, right? [00:52:56] I'm taking your car. [00:52:57] I'm going to Mexico. [00:53:00] We didn't complain when you tied our hands. [00:53:02] Okay, you have everything that I have. [00:53:04] We have done everything that you've asked. [00:53:07] It's okay. [00:53:08] Should tie your loose, didn't she? [00:53:14] Get on your stomach so I can tie your feet. [00:53:16] Okay. [00:53:17] It gets really cold out here at night. [00:53:18] We could freeze. === Witnesses Saw Him Stabbing (15:56) === [00:53:28] Okay, you're all done. [00:53:32] You know, just because people are going to ask. [00:53:34] Checking to see if the coast is clear. [00:53:40] People are going to ask, was the gun really loaded? [00:53:43] And then the guy actually shows them that the gun was loaded, which is a little strange, but now are all the details on the police report. [00:53:55] I'm going to show it right now. [00:53:56] I found it. [00:53:57] Okay. [00:53:59] It's okay. [00:54:01] This is all going to be okay. [00:54:08] Start stabbing her. [00:54:24] Sick fuck. [00:54:25] So here's the police report, right? [00:54:27] He didn't want it to use the gun. [00:54:28] He didn't want to use the gun, right? [00:54:33] So he didn't, he survived, guys. [00:54:36] And the reason why he survived, right? [00:54:39] So he goes now without warning, the suspect plunged his knife into the back of Hartnell. [00:54:45] Suspect did this repeatedly. [00:54:46] Harnell stated, he thinks six times. [00:54:47] Hartnell stated he pretended to be dead, and the suspect went over to Miss Shepherd and stabbed Miss Shepherd repeatedly in the back. [00:54:53] And when Miss Shepard turned her body over on back, suspect stabbed her in the lower abdomen. [00:54:58] Victim stated suspect stabbed Miss Shepherd more worse than him. [00:55:01] Suspect went into some sort of frenzy when stabbing Miss Shepherd. [00:55:05] So clearly this guy has an issue with women. [00:55:08] With women. [00:55:09] Yeah. [00:55:11] So he stabbed her more. [00:55:14] I think he stabbed her like nine or ten times. [00:55:16] Victor Hartnell stated suspect left the area after the stabbing. [00:55:19] Victim Hartnell hailed a boat offshore and told the man in the boat that the couple needed help badly. [00:55:23] Victim stated the boat left the area and attempted to get help by crawling and walking to the road. [00:55:28] Victim believed he had been walked to the road. [00:55:30] However, he had not gone too far from his wounded companion. [00:55:33] So, yeah. [00:55:35] And this is when the police went back and re-interviewed him and he gave a bit more detail. [00:55:45] So yeah, we're here. [00:56:01] So now that's him getting the Barriessa murder, right? [00:56:06] Now we're going to go to the final murder, guys, which is Paul Stein. [00:56:11] All right, cab driver Paul Stein, age 29, was shot once in the head at point-blank range. [00:56:15] The weapon was a 9-millimeter semi-automatic pistol, not the same 9mm used in the Farron murder, which was the first one we showed you guys from July 4th. [00:56:24] There were three witnesses from a house on the southeast corner of the intersection. [00:56:30] Right? [00:56:32] The northeast corner of Washington and Cherry Street. [00:56:34] And this is a very nice area, by the way, too. [00:56:41] Tonight for the following counties, Napa, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, and San Mateo. [00:56:46] So please, everyone, stay safe. [00:56:49] Vic in San Francisco, you're on the line. [00:56:51] You're not scared of the Zodiac? [00:56:52] Yeah, kid. [00:56:55] I'm scared. [00:57:00] We've got Alfred from Vacavit. [00:57:02] Free love and weird clothes. [00:57:03] Obviously, guys, this is the 1960s, different era, right? [00:57:06] So, yeah. [00:57:07] That was really a bad farm kid. [00:57:12] These are nice, clean-cut young people. [00:57:14] Hey, nobody's downplaying the loss of human life here, Albert. [00:57:16] But that last guy was. [00:57:18] We have good solid communities out here in the North Bay. [00:57:21] Unlike in the city where you have Satanists running around. [00:57:25] Well, he hailed the cabby in downtown San Francisco. [00:57:30] What do you think? [00:57:31] I don't really know, but I just thought that the code that they printed didn't look very Christian. [00:57:34] But I think the biggest problem is that the paper shouldn't have printed anything that the Zodiac has been doing. [00:57:43] Well, the Zodiac did demand they print his letters or he'd kill more people. [00:57:47] Yeah, but he would have done it anyway, whether they printed it or not. [00:57:50] Yeah, interesting point. [00:57:54] Boom. [00:57:55] Shoots him in the back of the head, kills him. [00:57:59] And he didn't use a silencer this time. [00:58:20] What is your location? [00:58:21] 3390 at Washington at the corner of Charlotte. [00:58:25] And this makes it even, you know what's funnier? [00:58:27] Chat, just so you guys know. [00:58:32] So the police were told it was a black dude, or they thought it was a black dude. [00:58:36] So they were looking for a black dude in the area, and they walked right past the Zodiac killer. [00:58:41] Yeah, oh no! [00:58:42] They asked him, oh, we're looking for some guy. [00:58:47] Do you see where he go? [00:58:48] And he was like, oh, yeah, he went this way. [00:58:51] Remember? [00:58:52] Yeah. [00:58:53] And he talked to them in a letter after the fact. [00:58:57] You know, 1960s, you know, racism was still a thing back then. [00:59:02] I truly believe that this case hasn't been solved because of the negligence. [00:59:08] Negligence? [00:59:09] Negligency from the police. [00:59:11] Yeah. [00:59:13] Because that's not the only case that that happened. [00:59:16] Because he's sitting there. [00:59:18] You guys are seeing what he's doing. [00:59:19] He's kind of messing with the corpse. [00:59:21] And you guys are going to see here in a second. [00:59:24] So, actually, let's pull up this address real quick. [00:59:29] What was it? [00:59:29] 33... [00:59:36] Crime still in progress. [00:59:37] Is the crime... [00:59:38] 3390... [00:59:39] Hold on. [00:59:44] 33.90 at Washington. [00:59:46] Okay. [01:00:09] All right. [01:00:10] Here we go. [01:00:13] So, right at this intersection right here, guys. [01:00:16] So you can see Washington. [01:00:21] Hold on. [01:00:24] Hold on. [01:00:25] Now it's Cherry. [01:00:35] This is Washington, and then this is Presidio. [01:00:41] So yeah, we're in the right area. [01:00:45] Hmm. [01:00:46] Okay, let me barrel with me guys. [01:00:58] and almost like all the way back Okay, victims. [01:01:10] Paul Stein. [01:01:14] Okay. [01:01:14] So they ripped off a portion of his shirt, right? [01:01:17] Stein's Cab was hailed at Mason and Gary Streets. [01:01:21] And we're going to talk about his shirt here in a second. [01:01:23] Bloody fingerprints, potentially the suspect. [01:01:29] And they closed the case, man. [01:01:30] fucking crazy. [01:01:37] Okay. [01:01:38] You saw him walking casually Cherry Street. [01:01:45] Yeah, here's Presidio. [01:01:47] presidio heights oh okay right We should do this location. [01:02:07] It's got to be right here, yeah. [01:02:12] Yep, here we go. [01:02:13] Right here is where he killed him, pretty much. [01:02:16] And this is the house. [01:02:18] This is the house where the witnesses saw him, guys. [01:02:25] That one right there, right? [01:02:26] Yeah, the witnesses saw him from, so he killed him right here? [01:02:31] And the witnesses saw him from over here. [01:02:35] Of course, 40 years ago, that house didn't look like that. [01:02:38] 60, yeah. [01:02:40] Hold on, let me see if I can get the old pictures. [01:02:46] So that's the bloody shirt. [01:02:47] Because he ended up ripping a piece of the shirt. [01:02:50] We're gonna show you guys this here in a second. [01:02:55] This was the detective that did the case. [01:02:57] This is Dave Tashi from San Francisco Police Department. [01:03:03] That's Stein right there. [01:03:06] Rest in peace, man. [01:03:07] Obviously, he got murdered while fucking being a college student trying to make some money. [01:03:12] And he ripped off a large portion of the shirt. [01:03:20] And you're gonna see why he did that in a second. [01:03:23] And then this wanted picture, guys, came after the Paul Stein murder and ended up closing it. [01:04:01] All right. [01:04:05] so what i was going to show you guys next oh yeah here we go the first letter arrives Good morning, gentlemen. [01:04:27] Good morning. [01:04:27] Good morning. [01:04:28] Oh, Stan, tell Mr. Howe, the craft court piece was damn near perfect. [01:04:37] All right. [01:04:38] All right. [01:04:41] That's Robert Graysmith. [01:04:43] He wrote the book, The Zodiac, in the 90s, or no, late 80s, if I'm not mistaken, 1986 or some shit like that. [01:04:52] And he is the main one that also pinned Arthur Lee Allen as the main suspect, as well as Tashi. [01:04:59] Tasha always thought it was him as well. [01:05:03] And he was a cartoonist for the SF Chronicle back then. [01:05:07] All right, I'm thinking we go not so hard. [01:05:10] Do you think how often are cartoonists nowadays? [01:05:13] Oh, not that common. [01:05:14] What's on the crime bait? [01:05:15] Janice and Datebook left the fondieu party before everyone got naked. [01:05:20] That's a crime. [01:05:23] Wouldn't kid you, man. [01:05:24] Beginning of a crime wave. [01:05:27] You need to see this. [01:05:34] Go get the publisher. [01:05:36] Dear editor, this is the murderer of the two teenagers last Christmas at Lake Herman and the Carl. [01:05:41] Notice how he spells Christmas with two S's at the end at Lake Herman. [01:05:45] And that was on December 20th, 1968. [01:05:52] And, remember, he killed obviously Majao, and we didn't kill Majao, but he killed Farron, Darlene Farron, on the 4th of July. [01:06:04] So, look, this is how he proves that he killed him. [01:06:07] Check this out. [01:06:07] Some facts which only I and the police know. [01:06:11] Christmas, brand name of ammo, Super X. Ten shots were fired. [01:06:17] The boy was on his back with his feet to the car. [01:06:19] The girl. [01:06:27] The girl was on her right side, feet to the west. [01:06:30] 4th of July. [01:06:32] One. [01:06:32] Girl was wearing patterned slacks. [01:06:35] The boy was also shot in the knee. [01:06:37] Brand name of Ammo was Western. [01:06:40] Here is part of a cipher. [01:06:42] The other two parts of this cipher are being mailed to the editors of the Vallejo Times and SF Examiner. [01:06:48] I want you to print. [01:06:50] Yeah, guys, I don't know why the audio is long. [01:06:52] YouTube, just turn it up as much as you can. [01:06:55] This cipher on the front page of your paper. [01:06:57] It is YouTube. [01:07:00] If you do not print this cipher by the afternoon of Fry, FRY, 1st of Aug 69, I will go on a kill rampage Fry night. [01:07:09] I will cruise around all weekend killing lone people in the night, then move on to kill again until I end up with a dozen people. [01:07:16] So he threatens that if he doesn't get his letters published, he's gonna kill more people over the weekend. [01:07:25] There's a cryptogram. [01:07:26] Signed except for a symbol. [01:07:31] Does that look like a gun sign? [01:07:34] Today's August 1st. [01:07:36] He wants his code in the afternoon edition. [01:07:38] If the examiner doesn't have the balls to run it, we scoop the bank. [01:07:41] Well, this man is talking about shooting 12 people. [01:07:43] And not running this might make him do that. [01:07:45] If we run it, we might be setting a very dangerous precedent. [01:07:48] Oh, come on now. [01:07:49] It's newsworthy. [01:07:49] We're giving some sick bastard a soapbox. [01:07:52] What does that say to people? [01:07:53] Back up. [01:07:53] Is this Vallejo's story true? [01:07:55] Do we know that? [01:07:56] Paul? [01:07:57] What? [01:07:57] I cover crime in Vallejo? [01:08:00] Yeah, I cover crime at Vallejo. [01:08:02] Let's shoot the code and call SFPD. [01:08:04] If it turns out to be real, at least we'll have the material. [01:08:09] No computers back then, guys. [01:08:12] Way Smith, don't you have a cartoon to finish? [01:08:15] Oh, yeah. [01:08:23] Hi, this is Paul Avery from the San Francisco Chronicle. [01:08:25] I'm looking for someone to shed some light on a letter we received. [01:08:29] Thank you. [01:08:30] Sergeant Mullins. [01:08:31] Sergeant Paul Avery from the San Francisco Chronicle. [01:08:34] I just want to check if you got an unsolved firearm-related homicide on Christmas and maybe one on July 4th. [01:08:40] Shit. [01:08:41] You guys got one too. [01:08:43] Confirmed. [01:08:45] APD, they confirmed the shootings. [01:08:47] Al's on the phone with the examiner. [01:08:48] They got the same letter with a different colour. [01:08:50] So the Times Herald. [01:08:51] Christmas. [01:08:51] Two teenagers on Lovers Lane, both the OA, David Faraday and Betty Jensen. [01:08:55] July 4th, Darlene Farron and Michael McGee. [01:08:58] I think it's Mayhew. [01:08:59] Anyway, he lived. [01:08:59] You didn't. [01:09:00] The murder weapon? [01:09:01] Ballistics. [01:09:01] Everything he said in the letters matched. === Morty's Anyone (15:31) === [01:09:04] I mean, I think the Times Herald's gonna go there. [01:09:07] The examiner's going, but won't go front page. [01:09:10] I say, let's go front page. [01:09:11] If he kills 12 people, it's not our fault. [01:09:15] Roberts, you need the cartoon. [01:09:18] That's how you went viral back in 1969, bro. [01:09:22] You're not planning to unfinished Carl. [01:09:23] I'm finished. [01:09:25] Terryo's still here. [01:09:27] Really? [01:09:28] The first edition is off the floor in 10, Charles. [01:09:35] Give us a sec. [01:09:39] Okay, replay. [01:09:41] We'll go on page. [01:09:43] Page four. [01:09:46] What do you say? [01:09:46] 20 bucks? [01:09:47] Whoever cracks the psycho's name? [01:09:49] He won't give his name. [01:09:52] Morty's anyone where I'm heading. [01:09:56] All right, now you guys are gonna see. [01:10:02] We're going to say Paul Stein shirt. [01:10:13] Paul Stein. [01:10:14] All right, here's the second. [01:10:15] That was the crime scene. [01:10:26] That's Robert. [01:10:27] Yeah, third this week. [01:10:28] Must be end of summer rush. [01:10:29] I got foot patrols going through the park. [01:10:31] Dogs are on the way. [01:10:32] The victim's name is Paul Stein. [01:10:35] We said pronounced him at 1010. [01:10:37] Suspect fired one shot in the back of the head. [01:10:39] Driver's wallet. [01:10:40] Carcas missing. [01:10:41] How'd you know his name? [01:10:42] Leroy there came down from Yellow Cab to IDN. [01:10:45] Neighborhood's pretty high-end for this kind of thing. [01:10:47] Sorry, set up transfer for the cab. [01:10:49] Corners here. [01:10:50] Any witnesses? [01:10:51] Kids were called. [01:10:51] They didn't sell the suspect from that window. [01:10:54] Failure shot? [01:10:55] No. [01:10:56] You first saw him in the front seat, thought he was a drunk fighting with the driver. [01:10:59] Oldest kid ran downstairs to get a better look from the dining room. [01:11:02] Described him as a white male, glasses, crew-cut stocky, wearing a dark jacket. [01:11:07] Wait, I thought someone said he was black. [01:11:08] That's the discussion. [01:11:09] Yeah, someone thought. [01:11:10] Yeah, see, they thought he was black at first. [01:11:13] We already corrected it. [01:11:14] Oh, well, that's good. [01:11:16] You guys need anything else? [01:11:17] No, get out of here. [01:11:19] Thanks. [01:11:19] Happy birthday. [01:11:22] It's your birthday. [01:11:23] Yep. [01:11:23] That's great. [01:11:24] Happy birthday. [01:11:25] Thanks. [01:11:26] Body or scene. [01:11:27] It's your birthday. [01:11:27] I'll take the body. [01:11:29] Okay, looks like you wiped the cab down pretty good. [01:11:31] We got some blood over here. [01:11:33] Prince? [01:11:34] Could very well be what dust is the hall. [01:11:36] The odd thing is, we also got gloves. [01:11:38] Suspects? [01:11:39] There's blood on them. [01:11:42] Hey, Pete. [01:11:43] 1969, man. [01:11:44] Police was not as sophisticated back then. [01:11:47] Yeah, Dave. [01:11:48] Throw over there. [01:11:48] Can I get in there? [01:11:49] Yeah, who rolled them? [01:11:52] Stewards, I got a single 9mm casey. [01:12:07] Yeah, Fluger. [01:12:09] Nothing from the crowd. [01:12:11] Okay, I'm your shooter. [01:12:13] An ego male adult who also happens to be a stocky, cool-cut Caucasian. [01:12:17] I flag a cab. [01:12:18] I give him this address. [01:12:20] Did I get him this address? [01:12:21] Who's got the fare book? [01:12:23] Right here. [01:12:26] Washington and Maple. [01:12:28] one block east getting the same over here so uh maybe i see someone walking the dog You don't want any witnesses, so you tell him to go down a block. [01:12:58] Pulls over away from the park because I'm smart. [01:13:00] I don't want him hitting the accelerator when I shoot him. [01:13:03] Yeah, he stops, puts it in the park. [01:13:04] Boom. [01:13:05] I shoot him on the right side. [01:13:07] He slunks right. [01:13:08] Maybe you've got your hand on his collar when you shoot. [01:13:11] All right, so either way, I just dumped a card of blood in the front seat. [01:13:13] So why do you get in the front seat? [01:13:16] For the money. [01:13:17] But he's dead. [01:13:18] You can just reach over the seat, pull out his wallet. [01:13:20] You don't have to go anywhere near the blood. [01:13:22] So why do you get in the front seat? [01:13:25] Oh, we're gonna figure out that in a little bit. [01:13:27] I'm an idiot, but you're not an idiot. [01:13:29] You're waiting for him to put it park. [01:13:30] All right, thank you. [01:13:34] Am I see that? [01:13:35] Yeah. [01:13:37] I am an idiot. [01:13:37] I just killed a man for $8.25. [01:13:40] Just third fairly night. [01:13:42] Does anyone have any animal crackers? [01:13:45] Animal crackers. [01:13:46] They're in the car. [01:13:47] I'm saving those for later. [01:13:55] Are you a reporter? [01:13:56] No, I'm Inspector Dave Tosky, SFPD. [01:13:59] Sir. [01:14:00] They called their detectives, inspectors, guys, for San Francisco Police Department. [01:14:04] I was wondering if I'd be able to talk to your children one at a time, and preferably alone. [01:14:08] They just saw a man murdered. [01:14:10] Mm-hmm. [01:14:10] I understand. [01:14:12] It looked like they were drunk and fighting. [01:14:14] Yeah, and he had a rag. [01:14:15] He came around the side of the car and he was wiping stuff. [01:14:18] Did you get a chance to see his face? [01:14:19] I did. [01:14:21] Well, sort of. [01:14:24] Do you remember what he looked like? [01:14:27] Hmm. [01:14:28] Normal. [01:14:29] Yeah. [01:14:30] Normal. [01:14:31] All right. [01:14:32] Uh, Zodiac sends. [01:14:35] All right, let's see here. [01:14:41] I showed you guys the murder spot. [01:14:55] Let's see if this is it. [01:15:04] This is a Zodiac speaking. [01:15:06] By the way, have you cracked the letter? [01:15:08] And this is the legendary letter which the Netflix documentary is going to be is named after. [01:15:14] That cipher I sent you. [01:15:16] I'm mildly curious as to how much money you have on my head now. [01:15:20] I hope you do not think I was the one who wiped out that blue mini with the bomb at the cop station. [01:15:26] Even though I talked about the Netflix special after this, we're going to switch to Rumble Chat. [01:15:31] About killing children at one. [01:15:33] This is the Zodiac speaking. [01:15:34] I'd like to see some nice Zodiac buttons wandering around town. [01:15:39] Everyone else has these buttons like peace, black power, Melbourne Eats Blubber, etc. [01:15:44] Well, it would cheer me up considerably if I saw a lot of people wearing my buttons. [01:15:48] Please, no nasty ones. [01:15:51] I shot a man sitting in a parked car with a 38 Zodiac 12SFPD0. [01:15:57] The map coupled with his code will tell you where the bomb is set. [01:16:00] You have until next fall to dig it up. [01:16:03] Yeah, he also sent bomb threats. [01:16:08] This is the Zodiac speaking. [01:16:09] I'm rather unhappy because you people will not wear some nice Zodiac buttons. [01:16:13] So I now have a little list starting with the woman and her baby that I gave a rather interesting ride for a couple of hours one evening a few months back that ended in my burning her car where I found her. [01:16:22] We're really not gonna run any more of his letters. [01:16:24] A new policy. [01:16:25] Our brothers in blue want us to hold back and see how he reacts. [01:16:28] A four letters in three months and it's the first mention of Kathleen Johns. [01:16:33] That's very weird. [01:16:38] What do you mean? [01:16:41] You don't know. [01:16:44] Welcome. [01:16:45] Please put your stuff down. [01:16:46] You're going down five roads and left. [01:16:49] Looking for the Modesto B from March. [01:16:51] I'm going to stand here and attempt off to moment. [01:16:55] Left. [01:16:56] I want to pull the cron from you know never mind. [01:17:00] Okay, look at this letter again. [01:17:01] The part about Kathleen Johnson. [01:17:03] Tell me what facts he gives. [01:17:05] Woman and her baby abducted. [01:17:07] Fact. [01:17:09] Think car on fire? [01:17:11] Okay. [01:17:14] Look at the article from the beat. [01:17:18] Everything in the letter already appeared in the article. [01:17:21] And he's done it before. [01:17:24] Officer Richard Raditinch shot sitting in his car. [01:17:26] Zodiac claimed that he shot someone in it. [01:17:28] A couple days after. [01:17:31] Now, this is something also that they had to deal with, guys. [01:17:33] There was a lot of wannabes, a lot of people wanting clout back then, fucking trying to claim murderers. [01:17:38] The article came out, the police already had somebody in custody. [01:17:41] Zodiac didn't do it, but took credit for it anyway, because he's in it for the press. [01:17:46] He even stole his symbol. [01:17:47] What? [01:17:48] No, shit. [01:17:48] Uh, if I show you something, you promise me to tell anyone? [01:17:51] Who would I tell? [01:17:52] Okay. [01:17:53] Totally saw the point. [01:18:02] Watches Zodiac watches diver watches That's the only place that word and that symbol ever appeared together before the letters. [01:18:09] I guess I stole his logo off a watch. [01:18:11] Somebody who's killed 13 people. [01:18:13] He claims he's killed 13 people, but which ones can we actually confirm? [01:18:15] There's three in Vallejo, one in Barry SF. [01:18:17] Cabby, that's it. [01:18:19] Boom, and that's the ones that we know, guys. [01:18:23] And the, yeah. [01:18:25] Bobby, you almost look disappointed. [01:18:29] Chief's pulling everybody off buses. [01:18:32] Business as usual. [01:18:33] Something to shake loose. [01:18:35] Not a people. [01:18:37] All right. [01:18:38] So I'm trying to find it. [01:18:40] So basically, long story short, after he killed Paul Stein, guys, the Zodiac went ahead and sent the bloody shirt to the news. [01:18:50] Right? [01:18:51] And that's how they knew it was him. [01:18:53] Crazy bastard. [01:18:59] So, guys, I want y'all to just come on over to Rumble because it's about that time. [01:19:08] This is a Netflix tab. [01:19:09] I don't even want to hit play here. [01:19:11] But we do have the, give you guys a little Zodiac speaking. [01:19:26] Here's the trailer. [01:19:30] I called Mr. Allen. [01:19:34] I'm thinking in my mind. [01:19:36] Okay, here we go. [01:19:40] Mr. Allen, were you the Zodiac? [01:19:49] San Francisco has a killer in its midst. [01:19:52] He had this black hood on. [01:19:53] Little slits in the eyes. [01:19:55] He goes around killing people by rope, by gun, by knife. [01:20:00] And he says, I'm going to call myself a Zodiac. [01:20:03] American law enforcement has never seen anything like this. [01:20:06] It turned out to a public obsession. [01:20:08] The TV shows, the books, the movie. [01:20:11] I want you to print this cipher on your front page. [01:20:14] Zodiac was different. [01:20:16] He got away with it. [01:20:21] You don't want to believe the worst in someone you trust your kids with. [01:20:26] I thought there's no way that it could be him. [01:20:30] My sister and my brother's lives were molded by him. [01:20:33] I had no idea how much my mother kept us out of the loop. [01:20:37] We started connecting the dots. [01:20:39] We realized we had been to all the murder sites before the murders. [01:20:47] You got people that are close to you that can lie so easy. [01:20:51] Mr. Allen paid different attention to the girls. [01:20:54] I mean, he was my hero. [01:20:57] We were determined to find out the truth. [01:21:01] I'm not good at puzzle solving, but I don't give up. [01:21:04] The families of the victims should know. [01:21:06] They have to kill you. [01:21:07] Did you guys get excited? [01:21:08] I really thought I knew him. [01:21:12] And I didn't. [01:21:18] All right, chat. [01:21:20] Don't demonco. [01:21:22] We are going to go ahead and watch this documentary because we're going to have to do it obviously on Rumble. [01:21:27] There's no way that we could do it. [01:21:29] But the purpose of the YouTube stream so that you guys can know what the fuck happened with the Zodiac killer. [01:21:36] Okay? [01:21:38] Give me ones in a chat if that all makes sense. [01:21:40] Before I get off YouTube, I want to make sure that we have that you guys understand the investigate, the case in general. [01:21:47] Give me ones in the chat if it makes sense. [01:21:48] Give me twos if you guys have any questions so I can answer them before we move on over to Rumble and watch this documentary. [01:21:54] Give me twos if you guys don't understand something and tell me specifically what you don't understand. [01:21:58] Give me ones if you understand it. [01:22:02] Because I really want to. [01:22:03] We went through each murder that we know is confirmed, by the way. [01:22:06] There's other murders that we don't know. [01:22:08] We're going to talk about it on the documentary, right? [01:22:12] Let me give the Rumble link here. [01:22:15] Here's the Rumble Link Ninjas. [01:22:22] Stream will continue here. [01:22:29] I'll pin it for you, ninjas. [01:22:38] Okay. [01:22:38] Yeah. [01:22:40] Yeah, he was never caught, guys. [01:22:42] He was never caught. [01:22:45] I dropped a Rumble link. [01:22:46] It's pinned. [01:22:47] I'm looking here, Angie. [01:22:48] Do you see any twos? [01:22:49] No. [01:22:50] Okay, let me read chats before I switch over. [01:22:55] Only ones on Rumble. [01:22:57] Okay. [01:22:57] Michaelca Boss, WFresh with a dollar. [01:23:00] Thank you so much. [01:23:01] Final tour says, Myron, would you ever react or watch the early episodes of Jerry Springer? [01:23:05] It was a bunch of kids discussing racism, religion, and the boys. [01:23:09] It's really based mainly on CC for that sort of stuff. [01:23:12] Watching Bimbo's Yap for two hours is funny, but not much is learned. [01:23:15] Hey, man, jump into Castle Club Zoom calls, bro. [01:23:18] I hope Frank doesn't get rejected from the art school like someone I know. [01:23:21] We're watching a documentary on Castle Club. [01:23:23] Yeah, we are. [01:23:24] By real talk. [01:23:25] If Frank ever has kids, I got dibs on a pup. [01:23:28] If not, I'm going to kidnap that cute ninja. [01:23:29] Yeah, Frank is very, yeah. [01:23:31] Yeah, we're going to get kids. [01:23:32] We're going to get him puppies later on. [01:23:36] I think his brother might get adopted by one of my buddies. [01:23:41] We're trying. [01:23:42] Can you get Jesse Lee Peterson on the show? [01:23:43] He's interviewed Sneeko and Zerk already. [01:23:45] He's basically would also be hilarious after our show. [01:23:47] The thing is, bro, is that he doesn't travel like that. [01:23:49] Noam Billy, would you consider having McGinnis or Enrico Torillo on the pod? [01:23:54] Don't know who those guys are. [01:23:55] Who do you mean, Noam Billy? [01:23:57] Myron, are the Zoom calls going to be uploaded as the one with Jeremy hasn't been, hasn't just wondering? [01:24:03] That is a good question. [01:24:04] I can tell them to upload them now. [01:24:07] Let me tell Freshen them. [01:24:10] We need to upload Jerby. [01:24:15] Get the club people are wild. [01:24:16] They've been saying memes all over the stream. === Still Deaf Jokes (04:56) === [01:24:19] Oh, have they? [01:24:20] Oh, yeah, yeah. [01:24:20] Crazy stuff. [01:24:22] I mean, like. [01:24:25] And then. [01:24:27] And what I'm going to do actually is I'm going to put the Castle Club chat once we go over to Rumble. [01:24:32] Oh, God. [01:24:32] Okay, so we don't got any twos? [01:24:34] No, just people traveling like, I'm deaf or whatever the fuck. [01:24:37] Okay. [01:24:37] They're saying you're deaf? [01:24:39] No, people saying like, oh, two because I'm deaf. [01:24:41] Oh. [01:24:42] Stupid shit. [01:24:43] Okay, fair enough. [01:24:43] All right, guys. [01:24:45] So that concludes the Zodiac Killer. [01:24:47] We covered the investigation with the main part. [01:24:50] We went over a quick little recap. [01:24:53] We covered, obviously, the murders of a bunch of the victims. [01:24:59] Of the victims. [01:25:00] Right. [01:25:01] We covered David Ferrede and Betty Lou Jensen on December 20, 1968. [01:25:05] We covered Darlene Farron and Mike Majo on July 5th, 1969. [01:25:09] Mike Majo survived. [01:25:10] Keep in mind for that because he's going to be a critical witness later. [01:25:13] We covered Cecilia Shepard and Brian Hartnell on September 27, 1969. [01:25:17] And we covered Paul Stein, October 11th, 1969. [01:25:21] What's the other guy that survived? [01:25:23] Brian Hartnell. [01:25:24] Okay. [01:25:25] Brian Hartnell and Mike Majo survived. [01:25:27] Both of them. [01:25:28] All right. [01:25:29] So rest in peace to the victims, obviously. [01:25:32] We're going to go on over, guys, to Rumble now. [01:25:35] So come on over, guys. [01:25:36] You guys know what time it is. [01:25:37] It is time to rumble, my friends. [01:25:39] Okay. [01:25:42] Let's get ready to rumble. [01:25:47] All right, guys. [01:25:48] I'm going to end the YouTube stream here. [01:25:49] Coming over, Rumble, guys. [01:25:50] Love you guys. [01:25:51] Come on over to Rumble. [01:25:52] Come on over to Rumble. [01:25:54] Link is pinned in the comments. [01:25:57] All right, or pinned in the chat. [01:25:59] Come on over right now. [01:26:00] We're ending it on YouTube. [01:26:02] Rumble.com slash FedReacts. [01:26:05] All right. [01:26:06] Now, we are on Castle Club and on X. All right. [01:26:11] So let's go ahead, guys. [01:26:14] We are going to go ahead and react to the Netflix documentary. [01:26:17] This is episode one. [01:26:19] All right. [01:26:20] Also, Ninjas, don't forget to follow me on Myron Gains X and on. [01:26:26] We call him Mr. Alan. [01:26:28] Remember the name of the episode. [01:26:30] Yeah. [01:26:33] All right. [01:26:34] Let's go, ninjas. [01:26:48] Oh, hold on. [01:26:49] Let me fix the chat. [01:26:50] We are. [01:26:52] How do you feel? [01:26:53] Really nervous. [01:26:56] Why do you feel nervous? [01:26:59] Because I feel like I'm betraying someone that I cared about for a long time. [01:27:08] My sister and my brother's lives were molded by him. [01:27:11] I mean, they are who they are because of him. [01:27:14] My siblings and I, we called him Mr. Alan. [01:27:18] I'll never forget the first time seeing him at the pool. [01:27:22] He was this big, heavy dude. [01:27:24] It was just clumsy, kind of oaf. [01:27:28] But when he got on that dive board, this transformation would happen. [01:27:36] You would swear he was a primo ballet star. [01:27:41] He would do stuff that nobody else can do. [01:27:45] Wait, what? [01:27:46] You guys said the stream is still going on on YouTube? [01:27:49] No way, it's still going on in YouTube. [01:27:51] Oh, shit, it is. [01:27:53] What the fuck? [01:27:54] Oh, no. [01:27:55] Wait. [01:27:56] What the fuck? [01:27:59] Hold on. [01:28:02] Let me fix this, guys. [01:28:03] My bad. [01:28:04] Thank you guys for letting me know. [01:28:07] What the fuck? [01:28:09] Alright, let me... [01:28:10] I don't know why the fuck it's still... [01:28:16] Hmm. [01:28:18] This is strange. [01:28:22] Yeah, YouTube is still on. [01:28:23] No, no, no, guys. [01:28:24] I gotta fucking end it on YouTube, bro. [01:28:26] That's not good. [01:28:28] Because if it's on YouTube, then we all know what's gonna happen there. [01:28:31] They're gonna fucking cry and shit. [01:28:33] So, so that's the L. Yeah, give me one sec, guys, while I fix this shit. [01:28:41] They said snitches in the chat. [01:28:43] Guys, I'm glad they told me, bro. [01:28:46] Because then they're gonna take the video down, man. [01:28:47] Y'all know how YouTube is. [01:28:49] Come on, man. [01:28:50] That shit go hit. [01:28:51] Get hit immediately. [01:28:53] Yeah, it's still live. [01:28:54] I don't know why the fuck this shit is still live. [01:28:56] Okay. [01:28:58] Thank you, chat, for letting me know. [01:28:59] I'm ending the YouTube stream now, for real, this time. [01:29:01] Come on over to Rumble. [01:29:03] All right? [01:29:03] What's wrong with you, Niches? [01:29:05] It's only three episodes, guys. [01:29:06] This series, for the ones asking. [01:29:08] Yeah, it's only three episodes, guys. [01:29:09] We might come out watching what y'all know. [01:29:10] It's one hour each, I think. [01:29:12] Yeah, one hour each. [01:29:13] So it's a bunch of. [01:29:14] Come on over, guys.
