Time Text
Thank you.
Matt Gaetz was one of the very few members in the entire Congress who bothered to stand up against permanent Washington on behalf of his constituents.
Matt Gaetz right now, he's a problem for the Democratic Party.
He can cause a lot of hiccups in passing applause.
So we're going to keep running those stories to keep hurting him.
If you stand for the flag and kneel in prayer, if you want to build America up and not burn her to the ground, then welcome, my fellow patriots!
You are in the right place!
This is the movement for you!
You ever watch this guy on television?
It's like a machine.
Matt Gaetz.
I'm a canceled man in some corners of the internet.
Many days I'm a marked man in Congress, a wanted man by the deep state.
They aren't really coming for me.
They're coming for you.
I'm just in the way.
Welcome.
We are live broadcasting from room 2021 of the Rayburn office building in the Capitol complex in Washington, D.C., and I've got an important update regarding a vote that just happened, and for one person, a vote that actually didn't just happen, regarding the woke, radical gender ideology that has been Really forced down the throat of our military in a lot of cases.
So a key Republican inquiry on how this gender ideology is affecting the military.
I'm going to show you the debate and we're going to talk about who did and did not participate in that fight and what it tells us about the next Congress.
Wanted to take note, all the folks let me know that they're tuning in from...
Erie, Pennsylvania, McAllen, Texas, Benson, North Carolina, Pensacola, Florida, Hudson Valley, New York.
Thank you all so much.

Elon has begun exposing Twitter's corruption and collusion slowly and deliberately through the release of these internal communications between Twitter execs and employees.
It's known as the Twitter files.
I was on a Twitter space recently with Charlie Kirk and the question was raised, I wonder why they didn't delete these things.
And maybe...
This horrible stuff that you've seen in the releases, maybe it wasn't deleted because they're actually proud of it.
That's what they actually think about the rest of us, that we deserve the censorship and for them to make decisions on our behalf.
So first, Elon made us aware of Twitter's collusion with the Biden campaign.
Now apparently the Biden campaign had the ability to get posts removed just by emailing Twitter's moderation department.
And then the moderation department would just email back, handled it.
That is the definition of collusion.
And what is an absolutely egregious violation of the spirit of the First Amendment, we see what was happening.
And we have it in writing.
Because now we know exactly how the left is.
At first, they say you're a conspiracy theorist and this stuff isn't happening.
And then second, when it actually is happening, they say it's a good thing and you should be thankful for it.
Speaking of conspiracies, it turns out that Twitter has been shadow banning conservatives the whole time.
And yours truly has been a target.
Take a look at what the creepy commissar of Twitter himself, Yoel Roth, the former head of trust and safety, had to say about permanently banning me from Twitter.
We're putting up the screenshot now.
This is directly from the Twitter files.
For those of you listening, they basically say, we should just ban Gates.
Working on that.
Well, it doesn't quite fit anywhere, duh.
Right, because what I was doing didn't violate any rules.
But I'm trying to talk trust and safety into treating it as incitement.
Remember, this tells you a lot about the left.
When they don't like what you're saying, when they object to your speech, they conflate speech with violence.
But speech isn't violence.
Speech is actually what stops us from devolving into violence.
But right here, Conflating speech with violence.
That's exactly what you see the media trying to do to Marjorie Teller Green today, which is a total joke.
I'm glad she's not giving it any more dignity than it deserves.
But it's also exactly what Kevin McCarthy said about me.
In the days following my criticism of Liz Cheney, Kevin McCarthy said that might have been gaslighting violence.
So the same mentality that you see from the media today with Marjorie Taylor Greene, that you see from the Twitter executives trying to ban me, It was manifested in Kevin McCarthy's own thinking.
You know what?
In a civilized society, speech is speech and violence is violence.
And they're very different.
They look very different.
And it's only fools who try to conflate them.
Or it's people who are evil, who are actually trying to control behavior.
And so they use this as their mechanism to do so.
And, you know, you have also in this Slack this concurment from other folks at Twitter that Matt Gaetz was dangerous and deserved removal for incitement.
As of today, I stand alone as the only lawmaker singled out by Twitter in this way.
All the members of Congress that they could censor.
And they wanted me the most.
Pretty amazing.
These things aren't random or done by accident.
There is a purpose to the efforts of the regime to silence those who pose a threat.
Catch the signal, not the noise, a brilliant man often says.
Well, here's the signal.
My name appears on Big Tech's censorship files.
Kevin McCarthy's name appears on Big Tech's political donation lists.
So who do you really trust to take these people on?
No more professional wrestling with Big Tech should be tolerated.
No more puppet shows masquerading as oversight, which is exactly what happened when Kevin McCarthy was Majority Leader.
They were never called to account, never truly.
Now, Kevin McCarthy has been called Big Tech's best friend.
And you could tell by the Twitter files that I'm their worst enemy, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I would expect that other members of Congress were also impacted negatively by Twitter's corruption.
We saw years ago that Jim Jordan, Mark Meadows, and Devin Nunes joined me on a censorship list during the Russia hoax because we were the ones telling the truth.
So first they said we were conspiracy theorists.
Then when the evidence came out that we weren't, they did everything they could to shadow ban us.
And now you have the national security apparatus saying, you know what?
Everything we did to harm Trump, it was justified because he's an insurrectionist.
What a joke.
You know, I'm virtually certain that Twitter never censored Kevin McCarthy.
And we all know that that's either because he's controlled opposition or otherwise compromised, probably through political donations.
When the media called us conspiracy theorists, McCarthy was silent and he was spared.
That's how it works.
Those of us who are the actual fighters, well, Twitter was colluding with the Democrats and the deep state to shadow ban us, censor us, ban conservatives.
This country has always leaned center-right.
At worst, it's a 50-50 country.
We can't have the gatekeepers of information throttling the free flow of dissenting or unpopular opinions, much less the opinions that are shared by the majority of Americans.
And now we see that these gatekeepers are massive, international, stateless corporations, unaccountable to the people or even their own rules or standards.
You see in the Twitter files, when the standard doesn't fit, they just say to hell with it.
Let's find a justification to ban people anyway who are saying things we don't like.
Now, there will always be spineless regime apologists that owe their existence to preserving this corrupt system.
And speaking of invertebrates, remember when Lincoln Project stooge Rick Wilson went on MSNBC to play defense for Twitter when they were facing these allegations initially?
Take a listen.
Whitey bitch victimhood from Matt Gaetz and Ken Buck and Jim Jordan and Marjorie Taylor Cuckoo QAnon Green and all these other people.
It is the most pathetic example of special pleading I've ever seen.
They act as if they've been oppressed somehow, that the world is against them somehow.
Well, guess what?
Twitter and Facebook aren't banning you because you're a conservative.
They're banning you because you suck.
They're banning you because you say evil sh**.
They're banning you because you support a revolution against the government of this country and a free and fair election.
This is the most remarkable thing about this to me, is all these tough guy swagger monkeys who act like they're the big, you know, alpha males, they're whining and bitching and moaning about Kathy Griffith holding up a mannequin head or Nancy Pelosi tearing up a piece of paper.
Come on, guys, toughen up.
There's the pattern recognition.
First, Twitter said in response to press inquiries, even some administrative action with the Federal Elections Commission, they weren't doing this.
They weren't shadow banning anyone.
And then they have these shills like Rick Wilson go out there and say, well, you know, it's a good thing for the Internet that Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene get banned.
Well, you know what, Rick?
Who sucks now?
That take aged about as well as Rick Wilson has.
When we take Congress back in January, there will be a lot of people that have answering to do.
And we can start with the former Twitter executives that were responsible for this malfeasance.
Maybe we bring in Jack Dorsey and ask him about his testimony before the 116th Congress that seems to be directly contradicted by the evidence.
Listen to what he had to say then.
I want to read a few quotes about Twitter's practices and I just want you to tell me if they're true or not.
Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives.
Is that true of Twitter?
No.
I don't know what Twitter is up to.
It sure looks like to me that they're censoring people and they ought to stop it.
Are you censoring people?
No.
Twitter shadow banning prominent Republicans.
Bad.
Is that true?
No.
That was a lie.
And it makes you wonder, what else have they been lying about?
Maybe we'll learn more from Elon's Twitter file drops in the coming days and weeks.
But what's been done in the dark is about to be brought to the light by the next Republican Congress.
Our enemies are running and scared, and we do have them on the ropes, and we're not going to let up.
We just can't let Big Tech's errand boy become the Speaker of the House.
Another subject I wanted to address today was the activity in the House Armed Services Committee around a resolution of inquiry that would require the Department of Defense to fess up about the woke ideology, the crazy radical gender ideology that they have been pushing on our military.
And I want to clue you in on exactly how that debate went today.
Take a listen from just moments ago.
We are not meeting our recruiting goals in the military.
Morale is down.
And every one of us knows it.
And we see it manifest in really what I think is one of the greatest honors we have, and that is our academy service nominations.
I recall when I came to the Congress six years ago, we got our pick of the litter, the best of the best, brightest of the brightest.
And every one of us has seen the number of people apply for academy noms go down, And we've seen an impact on quality based on how people are currently perceiving our military.
The woke ideology that Secretary Austin has advanced has harmed our military, and I take particular note of a report titled, Fighting the Cultural War Within the U.S. Navy, conducted by Senator Cotton, Congressman Banks, Congressman Crenshaw, And Congressman Gallagher.
And that report serves as a roadmap as to how to try to restore trust and confidence.
There was one lieutenant currently on active duty who lamented, quote, sometimes I think we care more about whether we have enough diversity officers than if we'll survive a fight with the Chinese Navy.
She continued, quote, it's criminal to think that they think my only value is as a black woman, but if you cut our ship open with a missile, we'll all bleed the same color.
And this culture war that we see with radical race ideology and radical gender ideology is intermingled and it permeates all aspects of the Department of Defense and has even bled into the VA. In July of 2021, VA Secretary McDonough announced that his department would provide gender reassignment surgeries And he described that as the path of progress.
Now, Secretary Austin assures us that the DOD hasn't gone woke, but on August 30th, the Army's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Accessibility Office hosted a gender inclusion workshop.
The workshop, quote, the workshop will cover discussion training on gender identity, transgender, and non-binary 101. I shudder to think what non-binary 102 would be.
The use of pronouns and other best practices engender inclusivity, close quote.
This radical gender policy also was reflected at the beginning of January in 2021, when the military's health insurance provider, TRICARE, began including hormone replacement therapy as one of its covered services.
So it raises the question, why is this resolution necessary?
And it's because we don't get straight answers when we ask them directly of the Secretary of Defense and top military leadership.
I remember asking the secretary about critical race theory and he barked at me that there is no critical race theory in the military.
And then Mr. Walts brought the receipts and actually went through the curriculum with critical race theory text that is being offered throughout the pedagogy of the United States military.
And then I think, too, when the Secretary said directly, there's no wokeness, there's no woke generals, there's no woke military, and he took all offense and got blustered.
And then I get this picture from a service member at the Davis Air Force Base in Arizona, and at the very entrance to the wing, where all of the airmen go in, a guide about how to be woke.
And so when you get just like the blatant evidence that contradicts the statements that these people make, it necessitates this type of inquiry.
I want to respond to the chairman's argument that, well, the real problem, the real reason that we see wokeness high on the list for people as a As a deterrent to recruitment and military service, like, I'm sorry, if we don't talk about it, it still happens.
Like, the notion that if we just don't talk about wokeness and we don't criticize radical gender ideology, that everything will be okay and we'll meet our recruiting goals?
With all due respect, that is a very boomer mentality.
This stuff gets shared on social media.
This gets shared in In messaging applications, the notion that our service members don't talk to one another, don't share their concerns, and don't reflect on them is a bit naive.
And so I don't think that it is effective leadership For us to put our head in the sand and say, well, whenever we see things like the guide to how to be woke, whenever we see the curriculum that Mr. Walts put before the committee, whenever we see the report that Mr. Gallagher, Mr. Banks, Mr. Crenshaw and Senator Cotton put together showing how this is impacting people, we should not ignore those things.
We should investigate them and we should root them out.
And I have every confidence under Chairman Rogers' leadership And during the upcoming Republican majority, we will do just that.
We will dig into this wokeness, we will get it out of our military, and we will restore the confidence in the greatest fighting force the world has ever known.
I yield back.
Thank you.
I accept the generational insult there, but I will say that even us old folk, Matt, know that things do get generated and spread around.
My point is that if you generate stuff that is dishonest for political purposes, it gets spread around and causes damage.
I have no doubt that it's being spread around.
I do understand how...
I would just suggest it was Secretary Austin...
It is my time, Mr. Gates.
You do not have time at the moment.
You do not have time.
It's not your time.
So, anyway.
I don't question the patriotism of people who are in the military of any gender.
I do question the intense focus that the DOD places on it when they're hosting pronoun trainings rather than using that time well.
There's a rich irony here for us to be criticized for presenting this resolution of inquiry as a waste of time when the real people wasting the time are the people at DOD pushing radical gender ideology onto service members.
I would certainly agree with the chairman that dishonesty for political purposes is something that none of us should accept, but the obvious dishonesty came from the Secretary of Defense.
We were all here when he said there wasn't critical race theory being taught and then we were all here when Mr. Walts pulled out the curriculum and showed that it was.
We were all here when he said that they hadn't gone woke and you've now seen the evidence shared With me, by a service member where they're advertising the effort to go woke.
So I guess you have to either believe the Secretary of Defense or your own lion eyes.
And so that is the dishonesty for political purposes that we critique.
We will get the answers to these questions.
We're back live.
In the next Congress, the Military Personnel Subcommittee will have specialized focus on rooting out this wokeness, and I intend to serve on the Military Personnel Subcommittee to investigate that and to really ripen the claims of a lot of these whistleblowers who are bringing forward the evidence that directly contradicts what the Secretary of Defense said.
A lot of love on the livestream for our military.
A lot of Disagreement with the focus on pronoun training.
I hear you slam dunk for making that argument.
And everyone's pointing out that There are, in fact, two genders, and if we just accepted that and moved forward, we would probably be able to get to focus on the things that the Department of Defense should be focused on, not radical gender ideology.
Now, as you might expect, House Democrats voted against that resolution of inquiry being reported favorably to the House of Representatives.
We all were seeking to vote no on that recommendation for the chairman.
So the way it works is the chairman of the committee recommends against the resolution.
So we voted against what Chairman Smith was pushing for.
But we didn't have everyone's vote.
That's right.
Liz Cheney is still a member of the Armed Services Committee.
But Liz Cheney didn't show up to vote today.
I guess Liz Cheney is too busy defending democracy to actually stand up for the people defending democracy in our military.
The people who put the uniform on, who deserve better than a congresswoman who would shirk her duties and responsibilities to actually cast a vote on this resolution of inquiry.
And so, every Democrat...
Other than I think one was there to vote, and every Republican except one was there to vote, if you even still consider Liz Cheney a Republican.
So when the people of Wyoming actually needed a congresswoman focused on them and their needs, this is what they got.
Play the clip.
The court of vote has been requested.
The clerk will call the roll.
Ms. Cheney.
Thank you.
There was silence when they called for the vote of Congresswoman Cheney in the House Armed Services Committee today, but the hypocrisy rang quite aloud.
What a hypocrite to act like you're the great person defending our democratic institutions and the institution that has actually endured to protect Americans, to defend the republic.
Well, that institution was left unrepresented by Congresswoman Cheney because she's too worried about her next book deal or her next TV appearance or her next opportunity to lie about President Trump and lie about members of Congress in the January 6th report that will pretty much be lies from beginning to end.
