[00:05:05]  And a lot of it is because he does address his efforts to assimilate and finding love in himself and finding the beauty that is existing as a Black person.

[00:05:31]  You feel wrong for feeling those ways.
[00:05:33]  You feel wrong for, like you said, trying to assimilate and trying to please somebody who's not you, who will never accept you.

[00:05:43]  That can go a couple directions.
[00:05:46]  You can either fight that and find that love in yourself or you lean into that.
[00:05:54]  You lean into that and you never find a way to love yourself.
[00:05:57]  The autobiography of Malcolm X is really That's one of the more important things in that book for me that really helped change my life.
