Minion Death Cult - #681 Can we please stop with the anonymous post!!!!!!!!!!! Aired: 2025-01-16 Duration: 05:20 === Firefighters and Stereotypes (05:20) === [00:00:00] I took a screenshot of this, this Twitter post I'm about to talk about. [00:00:05] They're using, like, some ad that the LA Fire Department did in conjunction with, guess what, 911, the television show, where there is, like, a big lesbian, a big black lesbian. [00:00:21] Is she a cop or is she a firefighter, Tony? [00:00:24] I think she's a firefighter. [00:00:26] Yeah, and so they were like cutting back and forth between this, you know, this real life, you know, I don't know what her sexuality is, you know, but like big butch woman or, you know, at least she's got short hair. [00:00:36] I didn't watch the actual video. [00:00:38] But, you know, making an implication that she's, you know, similar to the character or whatever. [00:00:46] And Clint Russell says, let me ask my female audience, if you're trapped in a burning building, would you feel better seeing this overweight lesbian slowly jogging in your direction, or do you want some Navy Seal-looking dude? [00:01:02] And that is true. [00:01:04] I mean, I might be burning to death, but I'm not dead yet. [00:01:07] You know what I'm saying? [00:01:08] You know what I mean? [00:01:10] I still got those urges, just like everybody else. [00:01:14] I'd rather see the fucking uncut Navy SEAL guy, right? [00:01:18] He's probably got a jock on, too, you know? [00:01:22] Yeah, I'm hoping he's not wearing a shirt. [00:01:25] I'm hoping I get to rest my head against his chest as he carries me out like a little baby. [00:01:30] I love the idea. [00:01:32] Well, the Navy SEAL, he is in full firefighter gear, but he's sprinting. [00:01:36] He's sprinting fast, not like the lesbian who's sprinting slowly while carrying oxygen and firefighter gear. [00:01:45] And it's funny. [00:01:46] I look at this woman. [00:01:47] I don't think fat or unhealthy at all. [00:01:50] I think strong. [00:01:52] I think big. [00:01:52] I think she could easily pick me up. [00:01:54] Yeah, she looks strong. [00:01:56] I'm stoked to see her. [00:01:57] I know that there are... [00:01:59] Me, personally, I know there are a bunch of Navy SEALs that can't help me out. [00:02:03] I feel like she could probably help me out. [00:02:06] It's so funny. [00:02:07] These believe your eyes. [00:02:10] Believe what you see, guys. [00:02:11] Look at this woman and they're like... [00:02:13] She couldn't press me. [00:02:18] These are all dudes who she could probably whoop their ass. [00:02:24] I trust her. [00:02:25] I look at her and I trust her. [00:02:28] Do you think normal firefighters... [00:02:32] Marvel has ruined your brain. [00:02:34] If you think the average firefighter looks like Chris Evans. [00:02:39] Yeah. [00:02:40] If you think the average firefighter looks like some roided out muscle fitness freak who is in whatever last vigilante justice movie or cape shit. [00:02:56] Yeah, this is just... [00:02:57] It's such a weird fetishization of masculinity. [00:03:02] I guess I get it. [00:03:03] I wonder how honest it really is because Clint Russell does not look like an alpha guy. [00:03:12] He doesn't look like a model, let's just say. [00:03:17] So I think maybe he's posing like one. [00:03:20] If you saw a firefighter and they were just ugly, would you complain about it? [00:03:29] Right? [00:03:29] If you're in a situation where you need to see a firefighter, are you going to care at all what they look like or who they are? [00:03:35] You're just going to be stoked that they're there. [00:03:39] It's the thing, too. [00:03:40] It's the whole individualism thing. [00:03:42] People forget how this works. [00:03:44] It's not going to be one firefighter helping you out. [00:03:47] They work in teams for a reason. [00:03:50] You know, and like, I have, don't get me wrong, I have a few friends who are firefighters that are definitely roided out, jacked, handsome dudes. [00:03:58] I also know other firefighters who are just regular folks who you might describe as like a schlub if you saw them walking down the street. [00:04:04] And they all save lives. [00:04:06] Yeah, if I see a firefighter, you know, coming towards me and he doesn't have that strong sort of square jawline, you might think, oh, well, that's, you know, you're just... [00:04:19] You know, giving a surface level reading or whatever. [00:04:22] No, that is like indicative of the moral character of the firefighter. [00:04:27] And like, you know, is he really going to be that motivated to save me? [00:04:32] Is he really going to be that courageous? [00:04:33] Is he really going to like have, you know, God in his heart or whatever? [00:04:36] And these are all important things and not things I just made up to cope with the fact we live in a dying world. [00:04:43] Yeah. [00:04:44] And like the situation we're in right now. [00:04:46] You need to be more worried if the firefighter has the equipment they need to save your life. [00:04:53] That's what you should be worried about them having, not their sexuality or orientation or anything like that. [00:04:59] That's going to be the problem now. [00:05:01] They were going to have an extra firefighter, but they had to paint the fire truck rainbow color, so they couldn't afford another firefighter. [00:05:10] Tony, I have seen that meme. [00:05:13] I would like to see a study of what could be done with all the cop cars that get priated out.
