#673 This is a LOT of things. But definitely NOT refreshing (preview)

TODAY: Marjorie Taylor Greene defends alleged pedophile sex trafficker Matt Gaetz, threatening to release ALL ethics investigations if Republicans don't ignore Gaetz's, MAGA responds: "We love your veiny c*ck, MTG!" PLUS: More MTG as she uses Laken Reilly's killer's conviction as a rallying cry for mass deportations. We discuss the right's (historic) tactic of using female victimhood as a vehicle for fascism and discuss the ways racial grievance politics obscure actual class relations. FINALLY: A "Never Trump" republican Fox Business host reveals that President Elect Trump consulted BlackWater exec Larry Fink about his Treasury Secretary pick (complimentary), and dissident anti-woke patriots share confusion about very basic class relations. Final thing I wanted to talk about.
Another just...
Really revealing moment for Trump.
What should be a revealing moment for Trump and his supposed populist agenda or his supposed anti-elite agenda or whatever.
We have Charles Gasparino here, who's a Fox Business contributor, tweeting out, Scoop!
At BlackRock's Larry Fink, and at least one senior BlackRock executive, has been contacted by Team Trump as they search for Treasury Secretary, Fox Business has learned.
Jesus.
So, like, the woke company, the woke corporation, the globalist corporation, the WEF corporation...
The executives are being considered for Treasury Department by the Trump administration.
Real Donald Trump has had a long relationship with Fink, who is one of the best risk managers in the business, and has often leaned on him for his views on the market, etc.
Fink will not be a candidate for Treasury, but it tells you something about real Donald Trump that he has a big tent idea on how to run economic policy.
Refreshing.
It's refreshing to know that he's got billionaires of all kind.
He's got the fascist kind.
He's got the liberals.
He's got all of them.
And it's funny because I'm assuming the reason he won't be nominated for the position is because it'll be a pay cut for him.
It's probably not worth it.
You know what I'm saying?
It's pretty ridiculous.
It's pretty transparent what's happening here.
It's super funny because If you ask the average liberal, I don't know, I'm maybe not the best person to ask, but are they going to know who Larry Fink is by name?
No.
My guess would be no.
However, if you ask the average online MAGA person if they know who Larry Fink is, there's a good chance they have several Larry Fink memes on their computer right now with him swinging from the gallows.
He is their enemy, and it's just like, oh, wait a second.
This guy handled Donald Trump's finances and has been repeatedly praised by Donald Trump?
Whoa, that's crazy, isn't it?
If you go to Charles Gasparino's Twitter page...
He's a Fox business guy, but he also wrote the book Go Woke, Go Broke.
Was he just the first one to get to do it?
Did he copyright it?
There's no way he coined it.
He just got to it first.
It's so funny to be like, yeah, I'm the author of Go Woke, Go Broke, reporting that the number one investment firm In the world, also the wokest investment firm, the one pushing DEI, how does even just having that knowledge in your head square?
Whoa, the wokest one is also the most successful one?
Whoa, that's freaking crazy.
It's almost like woke, you know, in terms of corporate speak, was used as a way of massaging more money out of more people.
That's nuts.
Yeah.
But then he's also like, oh, it's refreshing that Donald Trump is putting the woke guy in.
Like, it's all just money, folks.
I'm sorry.
Like, I hate to be a class reductionist.
And I'm not quite a class reductionist, but it's just like, fucking look at the money, geniuses.
What the fuck do you think would possibly happen?
It's right and funny, yeah.
And it's funny because this guy...
I'm going to read a little bit of an article from him in a minute.
But he was like an anti-Trump guy.
He was like a never-Trump guy.
But he's a Fox business guy.
And so it's like, okay, he was a never-Trump guy probably, and I'm not familiar with him, I'm just guessing, probably because he thought Donald Trump was going to be too crazy for the market.
Probably because he thought Donald Trump was going to be bad for business.
When the first Donald Trump administration ushered in Record-breaking profits for Wall Street and everything.
I wonder if that's why all the never-Trumpers just went back to Trump.
It's just like, oh, well, we'll still have our money, I guess.
Okay.
Yeah.
Probably that easy.
Nothing to worry about.
We're good.
I thought he was going to be too mean to corporations, but apparently he's fine.
So, yeah.
It's just like...
Yeah, he was a never-Trumper because he's a capitalist who thought capital would find it harder to navigate during the Trump administration because they were also an idiot and believed that Trump is a populist messaging or something.
I thought he was going to take down the elites for the common man.
That's why I didn't want to vote for...
For him and his first administration, but luckily I saw that he was just as every bit as disgusting as any neocon or neolib out there.
Turns out I was better off than I was four years ago under him, so we're good.
We are a nation of immigrants, by which I mean Wall Street people who profited in the last four years.
Yeah, so this was announced.
You can't find a news article about this.
This is like the only place I've seen this reported is on this guy's Twitter.
But he is like technically a reporter.
He covers the financial markets.
He covers like BlackRock and shit.
There's this other article that I'm going to read about BlackRock written by him.
Nobody else is jumping on this for whatever reason.
But there are people in the replies here...
Like Larry House, who said, I thought Trump was trying to get rid of WEFDEI scrooges.
And Coffey, who has the Donald Trump assassination photo as his avatar, says, this is a lot of things, but definitely not refreshing.
Yeah, yeah, they get it.
They get it.
They're down.
Missed opportunity.
Coffee, you should be covfefe.
I mean, don't let it die.
It's so fucking funny to be like, well, Trump's considering putting the manager of a trillion dollar wealth fund in charge of the treasury.
Refreshing!
Isn't that the same thing we get every fucking term?
What are you talking about?
Larry Fink, also previously working with Democratic administrations as well.
Obviously.
He's like a liberal billionaire.
Yeah.
And it's just, yeah, it's one big club, guys.
I'm sorry.
Like, he's right.
George Carlin was right.
Yeah, this is how I saw it was from somebody, I don't know, Whitney Webb on Twitter, who was like, I tried to tell y'all that no matter who won the 2024 election, BlackRock was going to be running U.S. fiscal policy, and here we are.
And it's just like, how could you ever think anything different?
Did you even ask for anything?
Literally, it's so funny because the Trump true believers who think that Trump is a populist and he's going to drain the swamp and be based and all that stuff, all they could hope for, all they ever asked for was, yeah, sure, we love billionaires, we love capitalism, we love the hierarchy that that implies.
Please just don't give us a woke billionaire.
And Trump was like, no, you're getting the woke billionaire because guess what?
A billionaire is a fucking billionaire.
I don't give a shit if you losers think he's woke or not.
He runs the most successful financial firm in the country.
You guys have figured out a little wrinkle to his governance of that program that may, oh wow, that's why he's evil.
It's because he put in anti-racist policies or whatever.
It's like, you were always a joke.
You asking for this stuff, you focusing on this aspect of it, was always a joke.
And I'm glad even Trump is like, yeah, you're a joke.
You're a joke if you care about a woke corporation that's still making a shit ton of money.
For me, personally, I don't care what you think.
Get in or get out, you know?
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's funny because, like she says, you know, it doesn't matter who's going to win.
They're going to be the ones running it.
And these people still can't see that they're right.
There is, like, a divide and conquer thing happening.
And, like, all this stuff, you know, a lot of this stuff doesn't matter because, at the end of the day, it is all about money.
And they still can't see that.
They're still like, no, he's on my team, though.
He's on my team.
