Minion Death Cult - I feel like I'm being punk'ed daily and Justen Bieber is around the corner (Preview) Aired: 2023-03-09 Duration: 06:39 === Tipping Mania Gripping America (05:59) === [00:00:00] Speaking of pandemics sweeping the nation, there is one widespread mania, like a sickness of sorts, gripping the nation, like a sickness of sorts, gripping the nation, going unreported on. [00:00:21] And of course I'm talking about this mania I'm talking about is tipping mania. [00:00:28] I've been hearing about Tipping Mania. [00:00:30] Wow, so you've been listening to the truth-tellers, Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Matt Taibbi, doing a 50-long tweet thread on Tipping Mania that you won't read about on MSNBC. [00:00:45] Well, I only heard about it because I subscribed to all their bonus content. [00:00:50] Oh, cool. [00:00:51] So I pay them extra money on top of what they already, you know, they're receiving from myself extra money. [00:00:57] I pay them that to see that information. [00:00:59] So, yeah, I did. [00:01:00] How dare you? [00:01:00] How dare you, Tony, compare what they do to simple wait service or what else do you do? [00:01:09] Delivering, delivering packages. [00:01:13] More and more people are tipping their delivery driver. [00:01:15] This is crazy. [00:01:16] Have you heard about this? [00:01:17] Everybody is doing it. [00:01:18] It's the coolest thing now. [00:01:20] Have you heard about this? [00:01:22] Specifically UPS guys and gals. [00:01:26] I think you're supposed to tip them now. [00:01:27] It's weird. [00:01:28] But hey, it is what it is. [00:01:31] It's the world we live in. [00:01:33] I've heard that people are getting canceled for not tipping their UPS guys and gals. [00:01:37] It's crazy out there and we don't support the cancellation, but, you know, the cancelling is a devastating thing. [00:01:44] And, uh, you know, if you have to avoid it, you have to go along and get along and perfectly understand. [00:01:49] Yeah, I get it. [00:01:51] We're not going to judge you either way. [00:01:53] Uh, so this is from the Seattle Times. [00:01:55] I saw this sort of in my, in my local area, uh, the Seattle Times, notoriously shitty newspaper. [00:02:02] Um, I think there's one good guy. [00:02:05] There's at least one good guy in the Seattle Times who's like a pro-union guy. [00:02:10] I don't know if we talked about this. [00:02:13] So one of the one of the old folks homes I deliver to, there's this sweet lady that receives all the packages. [00:02:20] She's very like type A, very meticulous and very like on top of everything. [00:02:26] So I could see how she might be a tough person to work with. [00:02:30] But as far as like if I'm trying to get rid of like 20 packages quickly, like somebody who has a system and knows what's up, it's very beneficial. [00:02:38] But she's also nice. [00:02:39] I also like her. [00:02:40] And she's from a union family. [00:02:42] So we talk about union stuff. [00:02:44] Right. [00:02:45] And like her dad was a union guy and I think she was a nurse for years and now this is kind of like her retirement job. [00:02:53] But she told me about this article, this op-ed in the Seattle Times about the upcoming UPS negotiations, Teamsters UPS negotiations. [00:03:03] And she was like, you know, I really liked this article. [00:03:06] And he was like, you know, really fair. [00:03:09] And I was like, what does that mean? [00:03:10] But She's like, but they talked to a driver, an anonymous driver, who said he was happy with his wages and hoped that we didn't strike. [00:03:21] And I was like, oh, that's weird. [00:03:23] And she was like, yeah. [00:03:24] She's like, yeah, I don't think you should be saying that going into negotiations. [00:03:29] I was like, she's like, if you're the anonymous driver, I think you should probably shut the fuck up. [00:03:37] Uh, she was like, I'm going to send it to you. [00:03:39] And I was like, no, I'll find it. [00:03:40] I was like, I'm going to look for this article tonight. [00:03:42] Yeah. [00:03:43] And I, and I looked it up and the guy was like very, very pro labor. [00:03:48] Whoever wrote this article was very pro labor. [00:03:52] Um, and then yeah, spoke to somebody, some driver who, who said that, who said that, you know, hope didn't strike or whatever. [00:03:59] And then the columnist response was, um, Well, I guess we'll have to see what the underpaid part-time employees think about their wages when the Teamsters consider they're negotiating. [00:04:14] It's like, fuck yeah, man. [00:04:15] You're not the only one. [00:04:15] You're not the only one working. [00:04:17] You got a lot of other people, you know, alongside you to think about. [00:04:21] That's the whole point of being in a union. [00:04:23] Yeah. [00:04:24] Also, like, want more for yourself. [00:04:27] It's OK. [00:04:27] You can want more for yourself, you know? [00:04:30] Also, it's just like, You gotta give the company some guff. [00:04:35] If you're in a union, you can't just be like, no, we're all good here. [00:04:41] No, you gotta make something up. [00:04:44] You gotta be like, oh, we want a new uniform distributor. [00:04:47] These uniforms suck ass. [00:04:48] Well, which they do. [00:04:49] But, you know, something. [00:04:50] Something. [00:04:52] You gotta keep them busy. [00:04:53] You gotta make sure they're earning their paycheck. [00:04:56] And they're not going to, they're not going to respect you if you don't ask for anything. [00:05:00] You know what I mean? [00:05:01] It's like, if you come in there and you're like, no, I'm all good. [00:05:03] They're going to be like, what are you, stupid? [00:05:05] Okay. [00:05:06] All right. [00:05:07] So that means we can, if you're good, that means we can probably get you to be a little uncomfortable then. [00:05:13] Let's see how long it takes you to speak up. [00:05:16] How like, well, if you're saying you're good now, then there's probably some room for whatever. [00:05:21] What's the opposite of improvement? [00:05:22] Yeah. [00:05:23] It sounds good. [00:05:25] It's downgrade some stuff. [00:05:26] Let's see how long it takes you to speak up, which is literally what they would do. [00:05:32] But anyway, so Seattle Times, not all bad, but in general, pretty, as we'll see here, insufferable. [00:05:41] One Seattle business is the headline. [00:05:44] One Seattle business is taking a stand against tipping mania. === Tipping Mania (00:54) === [00:05:48] Out of control. [00:05:53] So you remember Beatlemania. [00:05:55] This is has nothing on tipping mania. [00:05:57] Yeah. [00:05:57] Wow. [00:05:58] Tipping is bigger than Jesus. [00:06:02] Where we can't, you know, Bibles are being thrown in the street and millions of souls are being damned to hell because people are worshipping tipping instead of Jesus now. [00:06:14] Money people used to spend on Bibles are now going directly to tips. [00:06:20] It's disgusting. [00:06:21] Tipping mania. [00:06:23] What a fucking asshole. [00:06:25] Fuck off, dude. [00:06:26] Yeah. [00:06:28] What are you proposing, shock therapy for people that tip?
